Charlotte Flair Is ‘Adding Up The Inches’ In WWE In-Ring Recovery

WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair is back in the ring training for her return after being out of action with an injury since last December. On Instagram, Flair shared some footage of her in-ring training which included running the ropes and a series of rolls. In the caption, Flair channeled Tony D’Amato’s (Al Pacino) speech from 1999’s Any Given Sunday.

We CLAW with our finger nails for that inch.
Cause we know
when we add up all those inches
that’s going to make the f***ing difference
between WINNING and LOSING
between LIVING and DYING.

I’ll tell you this
in any fight
it is the guy who is willing to die
who is going to win that inch.
And I know
if I am going to have any life anymore
it is because, I am still willing to fight, and die for that inch
because that is what LIVING is.

Flair has been out of action since December after suffering a leg injury during a match with Asuka, who is also currently out with an injury. Flair’s setback has forced her to miss several major WWE events, including WrestleMania, a show that she has competed in a title match for seven times in the past.

While Flair has been missing from WWE programming, the Queen of All Eras has kept a close eye on programming. Flair recently said that she’s sure a match with NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez will happen when the time is right. Perez named Flair alongside several female Superstars on an episode of NXT before stating none of them compare to The Prodigy.

Away from the ring, Flair has been filming scenes for an upcoming indie horror/thriller film titled You Lose You Die. Stay tuned to SE Scoops for all the latest on Charlotte Flair and her return to the squared circle.

Ric Flair Sets Record Straight On John Cena Comments

Ric Flair has a preference when it comes to who breaks his longstanding 16-time world champion streak, but would be more than honored if it was John Cena to eclipse him.

Cena made a surprise appearance at WWE Money In The Bank to announce that he’d be retiring in 2025, but not before he makes the most of the whole year. Cena aims to be at Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania before he hangs up the jorts and sneakers which could open the door for a lot of big matches for the future Hall Of Fame.

With Cena simply stating that he plans to enter the Royal Rumble match, his intentions are made clear that he has his eyes on gold. Cena is notoriously tied with Ric Flair in the amount of world championship reigns he’s had with 16, but if he were to capture one more he’d be atop of the mountain alone.

Since Cena’s announcement, it makes sense that Flair would be asked about that possibility being back on the table of John usurping him in the record books. In a recent interview with Busted Open Radio, Flair said he’d have no problem with John Cena breaking his record, but in a perfect world it would be his daughter, Charlotte Flair.

However, Flair provided further clarity on his comments, taking to social media on July 17 to make clear he’s very happy for John or for anyone that would break the record.

“There Has Been Way Too Much Attention Brought To This. Let’s Just Set The Record Straight For The Final Time. My First Choice Would Obviously Be The Queen
Charlotte Flair. I Think The World Of My Friend John Cena, Who Is An Incredible Athlete & Genuine Person! I Will Be The First Person To Shake His Hand & Congratulate Him If He Breaks My Record As I Would For Anybody Who Would Break It. When That Day Comes, It Will Be An Honor! WOOOOO!”

While Charlotte and Cena are both in contention to pass up ‘The Nature Boy’ another name nipping at the heels is Randy Orton with 14 World Championship reigns. Flair also took note of ‘The Viper’ while on Busted Open Radio. It’s been greatly implied that Orton has been eyeing up Cody Rhodes’ gold despite him being brutally attacked by The Bloodline this past Friday on SmackDown.

Charlotte Flair Sends Message To Roxanne Perez: “We Will Meet In The Ring One Day”

Former WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair is certain that she will share the ring with the current NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez.

During the latest edition of NXT, Roxanne Perez name-dropped several popular female wrestlers including Charlotte Flair. Perez boasted that no one in the world is on her level. ‘The Queen’ took to her X account and responded to Perez. She told Perez to continue doing her thing and said that she was sure that they would cross paths in the future.

Roxanne Perez has been on top of the women’s division on NXT. She recently retained her title over Lola Vice at NXT Heatwave. Her next title defense will take place against Chase U’s Thea Hail at NXT Great American Bash.

Charlotte Flair’s absence from WWE

On the other hand, Charlotte Flair will star in an upcoming indie horror/thriller movie, You Lose You Die. In the past, Flair has also worked outside WWE. Her movie debut took place when she starred as Heather Rockrear in Psych: The Movie in 2017. It is a spin-off of the popular show about fake psychic investigator. Flair has also starred as herself in the remake of Punky Brewster with fellow WWE wrestler Alexa Bliss.

Charlotte Flair has been on the shelf as she is recuperating. Last year, she suffered significant knee injury including tears to her ACL, MCL, and meniscus. The 14-time Women’s Champion has been working hard to make her comeback to the ring. While she is expected to be out for at least 9 months, there is a huge possibility that she might be back ahead of schedule.

Charlotte Flair To Star In Indie Horror/Thriller Film ‘You Lose You Die’

WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair is set to star in an upcoming independent horror/thriller film in a massive move from the former Women’s Champion.

You Lose You Die follows sociopathic tech expert Mr. Fantastik (Freddy Rodriguez, Six Feet Under), who runs a show on the dark web. Views get to vote on the challengers for prisoners to participate in with a defeat resulting in their grisly demise. Fantasik is aided in these sick broadcasts with the help of Mr. Creep (Anthony Alvarez) and Ms. Perfect (Flair.)

Flair’s upcoming horror/thriller is a huge opportunity for the former WWE Women’s Champion.

This won’t be Flair’s first time working a big production outside WWE. Flair’s film debut came as Heather Rockrear in 2017’s Psych: The Movie, a spin-off of the popular show about a fake psychic investigator. In 2021, she starred as herself in a remake of Punky Brewster alongside fellow WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss.

Flair being involved in the project is a huge score for the second-generation Superstar who has been out of action since December 2023 with a leg injury. In a recent interview, Charlotte’s father Ric said the younger Flair is “so far ahead” in her recovery but will stick with the nine-month recovery window that places her return in the latter half of 2024.

Charlotte Flair won’t be the only WWE name attached to the project. Josh Bredl will appear as Mr. Large, who based on his name also works for Fantasik. Bredl won the 2015 Tough Enough alongside the late Sara Lee and was guaranteed a one-year contract with WWE. After a run at NXT live events under the name Bronson Matthews, he was released in November 2017.

CM Punk & Charlotte Flair Look At What May Lay Ahead For New WWE Champion Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes officially finished his story at WrestleMania 40, but an important question remains – what’s next?

Following Rhodes’ victory over Roman Reigns in the night two main event of WrestleMania 40, WWE Superstars Charlotte Flair and CM Punk shared their thoughts (via ESPN) on what may lay ahead for the brand new Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. According to Flair, Rhodes’ win over Reigns could simply be a marker for the start of his story.

“I really think his story is just beginning,” Flair said. “He’s exactly where he should be, but the biggest takeaway is Cody was here. He went away, he came back. Kind of like Paul Heyman’s speech at the Hall of Fame, people kept telling him ‘No, No, No’ or things kept failing and that never wavered either person’s confidence. Cody is a testament to knowing your worth and I think that’s what we need to take away from tonight is he believed in himself and he knew that he deserved more. That’s why he walked out WrestleMania 40 as champion.”

CM Punk Issues A Stark Reminder

With his WrestleMania win, Cody Rhodes becomes the first member of the Rhodes family to win the WWE Championship. This also marks the first world championship reign of Cody’s individual career.

While there is a natural excitement surrounding Cody’s triumph, five-time world champion CM Punk has issued a stark reminder that just because one has reached the proverbial mountaintop, doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll stay there for long.

“Now listen, a black belt is a white belt that didn’t quit. He just earned his black belt. and unlike his finishing maneuver. we are no longer at a crossroads. I think the path is clear, possibly the Cody Rhodes era,” Punk said. “But I will warn him it is much harder to stay on top than it is to get there and we all saw how hard it was for him to get there. There’s a lot of people gunning for him.”

As one story ends, another typically begins. With that in mind, it seems as though Cody Rhodes has now teased the possibility of introducing a new title design as well.

Charlotte Flair Was Originally Set to be Involved in Damage CTRL’s Breakup Plan

WrestleMania is right around the corner, and Bayley got to call her shot for the grandest stage of them all after she won the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble match. The breakup with Damage CTRL that followed was a long time coming.

WWE fans saw Damage CTRL break up as Bayley declared her shot at IYO Sky’s WWE Women’s Title. That split came in a hurry, but there were plans in motion already for the stable’s demise.

Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful Select to explain that plans regarding Bayley and Damage CTRL’s breakup dates back to last year.

The split within Damage CTRL was strategically planned several months prior to the actual breakup, and Charlotte Flair was supposed to be involved as well. It was reported that, “the idea was for Charlotte to aid Bayley in fighting off Damage CTRL when the turn eventually happened.”

Mercedes Mone’s Involvement

Mercedes Mone and WWE were in talks, but they hit a financial roadblock. Her involvement in Bayley’s breakup with Damage CTRL was never factored into any plan.

It was also noted that things may have changed if Mercedes had worked out a deal with WWE. However, that never came to pass. It was also nothing that ever got far enough along to plan out.

One source in WWE said that Mercedes signing with WWE when they had talks definitely could have changed things, but that wasn’t the working plan and things didn’t get far enough for advanced creative pitches.

Bayley will battle IYO Sky for the WWE Women’s Title at WrestleMania 40, and that will be a crescendo for a long storyline. We will have to see if Bayley will be able to overcome her former faction on the grandest stage of them all.

Becky Lynch: Charlotte’s A Huge Part of My Journey, I Love That We’re Friends Again

Becky Lynch is pleased to have made amends with Charlotte Flair, and has said there’s nothing but love between herself and ‘The Queen.’

Lynch and Flair were once as close as sisters but their relationship soured during their time on the main roster. Lynch and Flair began growing distant when they were sent to different brands during the 2016 draft, and the 2018 feud between them would also cause genuine friction between the two.

It’s All Love

At WWE Survivor Series 2023, Lynch would return from a hiatus as part of Bianca Belair’s team inside WarGames. Her return would see Lynch team with Flair and the pair would embrace after the match.

Speaking to TMZ Sports recently, Lynch addressed her relationship with Flair. The Man was pleased that she is currently in a better place with her fellow former WWE Women’s Champion.

“She’s been a huge part of my journey in every capacity and such an important part. As best friends, then enemies, and the fallout. I talk about that [in my memoir] from my perspective, but also the undercurrent of all of it is love, right?

“It’s always the people that you love the most that maybe hurt you the most. I know I’ve hurt her and it’s been reciprocal but I think when you can come back from all of that, that’s a special thing. I love that.”

The 2021 Title Exchange

In 2021, Lynch and Flair were part of a title exchange that did not go as planned. Rather than the intended exchange, Flair dropped the title she was meant to hand to Lynch, forcing the Man to bend down and pick it up. In her new memoir The Man: Not Your Average, Average Girl, Lynch recalls being furious backstage.

“I felt she deliberately went off script, leading to me yelling in gorilla that she was a, to use my exact words, “crafty fu*king cu*t” right in front of Vince.”

Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair Are Still Working On Repairing Their Friendship

WWE fans rejoiced last year when friends turned rivals Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair teamed up in a Wargames Match at WWE Survivor Series. For a few years, their relationship was strained and evident when they both were on TV. However, Lynch and Flair were able to reconcile and appear to be on better terms lately.

In her new book, Becky Lynch: The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl, Lynch discusses her relationship with Flair from her perspective. She also discussed their fallout and reconciliation in depth in a recent interview with Adam Silverstein of Getting Over: Wrestling Podcast.

Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair at WWE Survivor Series Press Conference

Lynch was asked about how they repaired their friendship and her thoughts on where she stands with her currently. Lynch replied that despite their issues, they still loved each other and would’ve been there for each other in bad times. She also noted the passing of her peers like Bray Wyatt and put into perspective that life is too short to hold on to past issues.

“…Having that hostility towards somebody kind of weighs on you, you know what I mean? I think life is too short for that and we witnessed that. We’ve seen the tragic passing of people that went far too young, like Bray Wyatt, like Luke Harper, and other friends who passed away that were very close to me in the last few months too, and so all of those things I think as you grow and mature you realize that these petty differences aren’t worth the toxicity it leaves in you and the weight that it carries,” said Lynch.

She also confirmed that the interactions fans saw from them at the WWE Survivor Series were genuine and that they reconciled.

More On Becky Lynch’s New Book

Becky Lynch: The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl is available on Amazon and other platforms in hardcover, digital, and audio. Her peers, including her husband, Seth Rollins, Stephenie McMahon, and John Cena, have praised the book.

One of the notable praises comes from Mick Foley, who helped inspire her to write a memoir.

Amazon shared and transcribed Foley’s thoughts on her book on their website.

“Becky Lynch: The Man is one of the finest wrestling books—or memoirs of any kind—I have had the pleasure to read. Actually, it was equal parts, honor and pleasure; Becky allowed me in on the ground floor of her creative process, and I read with great joy as she found her voice as a writer. I am so glad she has chosen to share that voice and her remarkable life story with all of us.”

Lynch’s rollout of her new book seems to be going very well as she explores a new career venture. The hope is that she will add becoming a New York Times Best-Selling Author to her many accomplishments over the years.

Becky Lynch Names Her Wrestling Soulmates and Dream Match

Becky Lynch has fought with some of the best female talent WWE has had in the company’s history. She has faced up-and-comers from NXT, along with established athletes like Nia Jax and Liv Morgan. However, there’s only one opponent she considers her “wrestling soulmate.”

During a virtual book signing for her new memoir, Becky Lynch: The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl, Lynch shared her thoughts on who she loves sharing the ring with and why.

Favorite Opponents

When asked about who she’s most enjoyed sharing the ring with, she couldn’t pick just one person. Becky Lynch named Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair as her wrestling soulmates.

“The very cool thing about that is I think there are several,” she began. “I think Charlotte and I obviously have an undeniable chemistry and an undeniable history, and I think no matter how many times myself and Charlotte have wrestled, I think people are always going to want to see more,” said Lynch.

Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch

The wrestler/author/mother also praised Bianca Belair and shared why she loves competing against her.

“Another is Bianca Belair. She’s fabulous. I love stepping in the ring with her. Every time we do, I feel like there is a little bit of magic that happens, and so there is a couple,” said Lynch.

She also joked about loving to beat Jax in the ring. They recently wrestled in a Last Woman Standing Match on the March 18 WWE Monday Night Raw episode. Lynch won the match and seemingly ended her feud with her rival.

Despite being in the ring with many great performers, Lynch did share that she is still looking to have one match with a WWE Hall of Famer.

Why Won’t You Fight Me?

Lynch spoke about her desire to wrestle WWE Hall of Fame Beth Pheonix, who we last saw in the ring at WWE Elimination Chamber 2023 when she and husband Adam Copeland battled Judgement Day’s Rhea Ripley and Finn Balor.

It might be a long shot, but Lynch’s dream is to wrestle Beth Phoenix at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland.

“I think it has to be in Dublin, Ireland. I think it has to be in Croke Park, and I think my opponent, and it’s a match I’ve been trying to get for a long time, would be Beth Pheonix,” said Lynch.

“I’ve been trying to get her in the ring and whoop her ass for a long time now, and it’s just not happening, and I want to know why is that? Why is That Beth Phoenix? Why won’t you fight me?”

It’s unclear if Phoenix is still interested in competing in WWE after her husband, Adam Copeland, signed with AEW last year. However, Lynch has publicly made the challenge and is welcoming a big showdown in Ireland against the Hall of Famer.

Charlotte Flair Advertised For WWE SmackDown During Injury Hiatus

You never know who might show up on the road to WrestleMania 40. It appears that Charlotte Flair might make her presence felt on SmackDown later this month, even though she is currently injured.

Despite the fact that she is injured, Charlotte Flair is now being advertised for the March 29th Friday Night SmackDown episode at The Mohegan Sun Arena. This is a very interesting turn of events, but the card is always subject to change.

Charlotte Flair Advertised During Injury

Charlotte Flair faced a challenge after sustaining a knee injury during a December 8th, 2023, Friday Night SmackDown episode, necessitating surgery. Despite this setback, recent updates reveal a remarkable recovery as she diligently undergoes rehabilitation.

Flair surprised fans by returning to the gym in rapid fashion after her ACL surgery. She obviously doesn’t want to waste any time when it comes to her return.

In an interesting turn of events, promotions for the upcoming March 29th Friday Night SmackDown episode at The Mohegan Sun Arena feature Charlotte Flair. However, it remains uncertain whether she will make an appearance during the show.

Despite her absence from WWE television due to injury, Charlotte Flair has been confirmed for WWE World on April 6th as well. That being said, her appearance on the promotional graphic makes some fans wonder if The Queen will also be present for the March 29th SmackDown episode.

What’s Going On Here (Exclusive)

I reached out to inquire about Charlotte Flair appearing on this graphic. I was told that she is still out of action, and she is not booked. There are several reasons why an absent Superstar would be advertised by a venue, because if is not an official promotion that the company can necessarily control.

It is possible that they are using a generic graphics, but other Superstars featured include Carlito, Jimmy Uso, LA Knight, Austin Theory, and Bianca Belair. It is interesting that no Superstars are listed in the advertisement, but Flair is certainly featured up front. That being said, she would have also been featured up front on any SmackDown graphic that they made up and sent out prior to her injury.

At this time, Flair is still working hard toward her return from injury. She is not booked for any WrestleMania match, because her current return date is expected for Fall 2024.

What’s Next For Charlotte Flair

Meanwhile, Flair’s husband, Andrade el Idolo, has made his return to WWE and is now part of the RAW brand. This goes against WWE’s usual practice of not separating couples across brand lines.

The future holds intrigue for Charlotte Flair, but it appears she will indeed be present for the road to WrestleMania 40 in some respect with her announced appearance at WWE The World on April 6. Hopefully, it won’t be long until she makes a full return to the ring.

SEScoops will have more on this story, and so much more, as we continue down the road to WrestleMania 40. Keep checking back throughout the day for even more headlines that you need.

Charlotte Flair Donates 200 Items of Clothing to Women& Children’s Shelter in Amazing Act of Generosity

Charlotte Flair’s efforts to thin her impressive wardrobe has resulted in the WWE Superstar donating 200 items of clothing to a shelter.

On her Instagram Stories, Flair noted that her closet was getting out of hand. Rather than just throw away items of clothing, the former WWE Women’s Champion donated 200 pieces to a local women’s and children’s shelter in an incredible act of generosity. Flair also shared a before and after photo to show the difference to her closet.

Charlotte Flair’s WWE Status

During the latter part of her December 9, match with Asuka, Flair was hurt and was seen being tended to by WWE’s medical crew after the match. The injury happened when Flair came off the top rope at an awkward angle and her legs bounced off the ropes. Despite this, Flair was able to finish the match that saw Asuka get the victory.

This injury wasn’t enough to keep Charlotte from supporting her husband Andrade at a CMLL event, in what would be one of the former NXT Champion’s final appearances before returning to WWE. In January, Flair had knee surgery and has been showing significant improvements.

What’s Next for the Queen?

Charlotte was recently spotted at the WWE Performance Center with John Cena, which many have taken as a good indicator of her health. With that said, Flair is still expected to miss months of action, and will likely miss SummerSlam 2024 as well as WrestleMania 40. Next month’s Showcase of the Immortals will have some ‘flair’ as Charlotte will be making an appearance at the WWE World experience in Philadelphia

Charlotte Flair Announced for WrestleMania Week Appearance

Multi-time Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair is set to make an appearance at WWE World during WrestleMania week.

‘The Queen’ is currently in the recovery process after she recently suffered a significant injury. She suffered the injury in a singles match against Damage CTRL’s Asuka on the Tribute to the Troops edition of SmackDown on December 8 last year. The injury occurred when Flair tried to hit her signature Moonsault outside the ring.

Fans have certainly missed her. As  WrestleMania 40 is approaching, WWE has officially announced that her next appearance in the company will be taking place soon. It will be during WrestleMania week.

Charlotte Flair set to make WWE World appearance

On Saturday, April 6, WrestleMania 40 night one takes place and it has been announced that Charlotte Flair will be showing up at WWE World in Philadelphia. She hasn’t competed for months now and she will miss this year’s WrestleMania as well. As the WrestleMania festivities get along, fans will have a chance to witness ‘The Queen’ ahead of ‘The Show of Shows.’

Charlotte Flair’s recovery update

It’s unlikely that Charlotte Flair will be returning to the ring anytime soon. She has suffered multiple knee injuries including tears to her ACL, MCL, and meniscus. She was even spotted on crutches at the CMLL event ahead of her surgery.

Post-surgery, ‘The Queen’ has been pushing herself to the limits to make her comeback to the squared circle. She is expected to be out for at least 9 months but she could return ahead of her schedule.

Taking to Twitter, she has once against provided an update on her recovery as she shared a video clip of working out in the gym.

We will now have to wait and see when Charlotte Flair manages to make her return.

Ric Flair Turns 75: Charlotte Shares Heartwarming Birthday Tribute To Her Father

Charlotte Flair has shared her tribute to her legendary father Ric Flair as the Nature Boy has turned 75 years old.

Born February 25, 1949, Flair is considered one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. Flair is already a two-time WWE Hall of Famer and was the first inductee to receive a second nod. Flair is also hopeful for a third WWE Hall of Fame induction for his role in Evolution

In October of last year, Flair joined AEW and has been part of Sting’s retirement run. The pair were fierce rivals in the NWA and WCW and competed in the final WCW match during the March 26, 2001, edition of WCW Monday Nitro.

Ric Flair’s Birthday Wish

As a megastar in wrestling, Flair’s birthday earned a ton of well-wishes from fans around the world. On Twitter, Charlotte shared a heartfelt message to her father, saying her love for him is as big as the sky. The Younger Flair included a photo of herself, Ric, and her husband Andrade El Idolo.

AEW also shared its birthday wish to the legendary wrestler.

In a tweet of his own, Ric Flair was grateful for the well-wishes by fans.

What’s Next?

Charlotte suffered an injury in December of last year that has kept the Queen out of action ever since. Flair recently said that she is ahead of her recovery time-frame in positive news from the former Women’s Champion. The Queen was spotted at WWE’s Performance Center with John Cena last week

John Cena Spotted At WWE Performance Center Today

It was a big day for John Cena. Not only did he open his first OnlyFans page, but he was apparently at the WWE Performance Center today. A selfie with Charlotte Flair, who is out of action with an injury, seems to have given that away.

John Cena Spotted At The WWE Performance Center

John Cena and Charlotte Flair were both spotted together at the WWE Performance Center. This takes place during a time when they are both on a hiatus from the company.

Cena left WWE after WWE Crown Jewel, because Hollywood’s SAG-AFTRA Strike ended. That left a door open for him to return to his real job, which is a movie star. He’s been working hard, making interview rounds, as he recently dropped by the Howard Stern show with an explosive interview.

Charlotte Flair has been out of action for a couple of months with a knee injury. She will be on the shelf for several more months, but The Queen apparently took a drive to the WWE Performance Center today.

Recently, Flair posted a photo on her Instagram alongside Cena, taken at ringside in the Capitol Wrestling Centre, and the NXT logo was visible in the background.

“Went for a drive today!?? @johncena.”

What’s Next

Given that the CWC is housed within the WWE Performance Center, Flair’s visit could have been part of her rehabilitation from a knee injury or for other reasons. She is working hard on her comeback, and odds are she will be back as soon as possible.

Cena has previously expressed his interest in visiting the Performance Center to observe talent, and he’s a mentor as well. You also never know if he could be gearing up for some sort of huge surprise on the road to WrestleMania XL.

While Flair is sidelined from WrestleMania 40 due to her injury, Cena’s participation in the Mania event remains uncertain. Fans will have to wait to see if The Champ will appear in Philadelphia or not. SEScoops will have more information on this story as it is available.

Jade Cargill Excited in WWE: We’re All Here For Dream Matches and to Make Money

WWE fans are still buzzing after Jade Cargill finally made her in-ring debut. She competed in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match on January 27 and stood against some of the best females on the WWE roster.

While she didn’t win the match, WWE showcased her abilities and teased future potential matchups. It’s unclear when her next appearance will be, but Cargill is very excited about what will come next.

In an interview with  Denise Salcedo, Cargill was asked what the environment is for her behind the scenes and dealing with other talent like Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch. The WWE superstar shared that her peers have treated her well and that everyone wants to put on dream matches.

“…Everybody’s been very warm. Everybody understands that one, we are all going to create money-making matches here. We’re here to put butts in seats and sell tickets and make money. That’s what we are here for,” said Cargill.

After talking about the backstage environment, Cargill began listing several names she’s looking to have dream matches against.

“…All these women that you just named are literally are dream matches. Everybody would love to see me take on a Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch because you never know what the outcome will be,” said Cargill.

She added that she is confident that she’ll be victorious against them all but that it could still be unpredictable.

What’s Next For Jade Cargill?

Currently, Cargill is still figuring out what brand she wants to sign within the WWE storyline. She has been approached by Adam Pierce and Nick Aldis about signing to their respective brand.

In the WWE Women’s Royal Rumble Match, she threw out members from both the WWE Monday Night Raw and Friday Night Smackdown roster. One of the notable eliminations was Nia Jax, who she single-handedly tossed over the ropes. This is something that the company could follow up on for a potential dream match.

It’s unclear what brand will sign Cargill. For now, she is excited for the opportunities that will come her way in WWE.

Charlotte Flair Receives Encouraging News on Her WWE Return Timeline

Fans will be delighted to know that multi-time Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair is ‘crushing it’ in the recovery process after she recently suffered a significant injury

‘The Queen’ sustained the injury in a singles match against Damage CTRL’s Asuka on the Tribute to the Troops edition of SmackDown on December 8.

The injury occurred when Flair tried to hit her signature moonsault outside the ring.  Flair managed to finish the match despite the injury.

It was later announced that Charlotte Flair suffered multiple knee injuries during the incident, including tears to her ACL, MCL, and meniscus. She was even spotted on crutches at the CMLL event ahead of her surgery.

After undergoing surgery, The Queen is pushing herself to the limits to make her highly-anticipated return. She is expected to be out for at least 9 months but it seems Flair wants to make a comeback far sooner. Flair recently posted a video clip on social media to show off her progress. She is already on the treadmill and hopes to return sooner.

Ric Flair shares an update on Charlotte Flair

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has shared an update on her recovery. He said:

“I was speaking with Dr. Dugan. He’s been there 30 years. He said Ashley is one of the top three athletes that they have ever done surgery on. Think about that. We’re talking Bo Jackson. We’re talking, I mean, I can go down the list of people.“

“The Tommy John’s. He said we consider her one of the top three athletes, not wrestlers, to ever come through the doors.”

Ric Flair lauded Charlotte Flair’s recuperation and that she’s showcasing her extraordinary abilities. Considering it one of the greatest compliments one could receive, he said that she is recovering beyond expectations and is expected to return sooner than advised. Ric highlighted the special and distinctive attributes of Charlotte Flair and said:

“Her recovery, she’s crushing it. She’s actually going to come back faster than they will ever recommend. That’s unbelievable. I thought that might be one of the biggest compliments.“

“I mean, it’s unfortunate that it had to come from a doctor in a hospital, but I keep telling people, man, she’s a different kind of cat.”

We will now have to wait and see if Charlotte Flair actually makes her return ahead of schedule.

Charlotte Flair Shows Off Physical Therapy Progress After Knee Surgery

Charlotte Flair suffered a significant injury in her singles match against Damage CTRL’s Asuka on the Tribute to the Troops edition of SmackDown on December 8th. She went under the knife, and now The Queen is on her way back to reclaim her throne.

Charlotte Flair Putting In The Work After Surgery

Charlotte Flair is expected to be out of action for 9 months after her knee surgery. Of course, that is a projection and Flair would obviously like to see a return much sooner than that.

Many people might want to take it easy after surgery, but Charlotte Flair is in a league of her own. The shoo-in WWE Hall of Famer didn’t wait around at all before jumping right into physical therapy.

Flair updated her social media to show off her progress. She is already on the treadmill, which she was happy to showcase on her Instagram story.

How Charlotte Flair Was Injured

The injury occurred when Flair attempted her signature moonsault outside the ring towards Asuka. The match was then ended abruptly due to interference by Bayley, leading to Flair’s defeat. Despite her injury, Flair still finished the match.

Unfortunately, Flair suffered multiple knee injuries during the incident, including tears to her ACL, MCL, and meniscus.

Charlotte Flair was spotted on crutches at the CMLL event after her injury. That was before her surgery, but now she is totally focused on making a return to the ring.

Andrade El Idolo’s Expected WWE Return Was A Interesting Process

WWE has seen several returns over the last couple of years. Triple H brought back several people that Vince McMahon either released or he let their contract expire. Now, all signs point to Andrade’s return.

Andrade’s Expected WWE Return

Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful Select that Andrade el Idolo has concluded his time with All Elite Wrestling, and has reached an agreement with WWE. This was said to be a “roller coaster” situation.

Initially Andrade signed to a two-year deal with AEW, the inclusion of injury time extended his contract. So, his contract was stretched to the end of the year.

AEW talent noted Andrade’s transparency regarding his contract status, as he did not hide anything backstage. El Idolo made it clear that his deal would conclude in or by the end of 2023. Despite there was a brief time when he reportedly expressed intentions to stay with AEW and consider another contract, towards the end of his run, he informed fellow wrestlers of his decision to return to WWE.

Some within AEW even anticipated his appearance on WWE programming shortly after his departure. They were surprised that he hasn’t debuted yet. With the Royal Rumble coming up on January 27th, that could very well be a landing pad for his return as well.

Reasons Behind Andrade’s AEW Exit

Although Tony Khan left the door open for Andrade’s return publicly, individuals working closely with Andrade found the process frustrating, with him revealing days before World’s End that he was concluding his time with AEW.

Additionally, it is reported that Charlotte Flair advocated for Andrade’s return to WWE, and Andrade himself had suggested that AEW link up with Ric Flair.

WWE has not confirmed Andrade’s return to the company just yet, but the general belief is that he is coming back to television. The former NXT Champion may be back on RAW or SmackDown very soon.

‘Scared of the Unknown’ – Charlotte Flair emotional following knee surgery

WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair has shared her gratitude to those wishing her well after her recent injury.

During the latter part of her December 9 match with Asuka, Flair was hurt and was seen being tended to by WWE’s medical crew after the match. The injury happened when Flair came off the top rope at an awkward angle and her legs bounced off the ropes. Despite this, Flair was able to finish the match that saw Asuka get the victory.

Charlotte Flair is Thankful

In a tweet, Flair gave an update to her fans. The former Women’s Champion was dressed in a hospital gown, suggesting she has had her surgery.

Family, Friends & Fans,

THANK YOU for all the positive, beautiful messages & flowers I feel supported in every way. It has taken me a few days and many MANY tears to wrap my head around everything. I happen to be an expert in overthinking and this is the first time I’ve ever been truly scared. Scared of the unknown but also feeling like I’m losing what I’m most proud of and that’s being an athlete. I don’t like showing physical weakness and this has left me feeling exposed. A process I know I will grow from but a very new one to me. This was a huge blow to me mentally and obviously physically going into 2024. 2023 was a rollercoaster and I am trying to stay positive and maybe this was the only way to stop, refocus, rebuild & eventually conquer again.

I can’t thank this year’s Smackdown locker-room enough. I enjoyed every second and will be rooting from the sidelines

I have been a bad guy for most of my career but this year was different for me. I CHERISHED every hug, high-five and fist pump this year at live events and for the first time in my career felt comfortable in my own boots being the good guy I learned so much as a performer and plan on starting right where I left off.

I promise I am going to work 24/7 over the next nine months to come back the best version of the Queen you’ve ever seen.

“Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life, as by the obstacles which he has overcome while trying to succeed.”

Climbing my own mountain will be my greatest test yet.

Thank you for all the love

Here is to 2024.

Love, Ashley

Update on Charlotte Flair’s Surgery and Potential Return Timetable

Charlotte Flair sustained a major injury during her singles match against Damage CTRL’s Asuka on the Tribute to the Troops edition of SmackDown on December 8. Now we’ve gotten an update on the timetable for her return.

According to a report from PWInsider, Charlotte Flair is scheduled to undergo knee surgery in early January. WWE has projected a nine-month recovery period for Flair, suggesting that her return to the ring may not be until at least October next year.

The injury occurred when Flair tried to execute her signature moonsault outside the ring toward Asuka. The match ended abruptly following interference by Bayley, resulting in Flair’s defeat. Unfortunately, Flair sustained multiple knee injuries during the spot, including tears to her ACL, MCL, and meniscus.

This unfortunate development means that Charlotte Flair will miss WrestleMania 40 scheduled for April 6-7, 2024, at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Additionally, her absence may extend to events such as Summerslam, Backlash France, and Bash In Berlin. The given timetable means that Flair may be able to make a comeback around the time of Fastlane and Crown Jewel.

Charlotte Flair recently agreed to a contract extension with WWE, reportedly securing her stay with the company for several years. While specific details about the duration and terms of the deal remain a secret, reports suggest a substantial increase in compensation.

This marks Flair’s new deal one of the most lucrative contracts for a female wrestler in WWE history. As part of the agreement, Flair is set to receive a travel bus, a privilege previously granted to big names like Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes within the company.

Charlotte Flair On Crutches at CMLL Event Supporting Andrade El Idolo

WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair wasn’t going to let her recent injury stop her from supporting her husband Andrade El Idolo at a CMLL event.

Charlotte Flair at CMLL

While Flair won’t be competing for the foreseeable future, she recently made the trip to CMLL. Flair was there to support Andrade, who teamed with Espanto Jr. and Brillante Jr. to take on Volador Jr., Magnus, and Magia Blanca. On Twitter, CMLL brought awareness to Flair being at the show.

Flair’s arrival was also captured on camera. The former Raw, SmackDown, and NXT Women’s Champion was seen arriving on crutches to her seats to a response from the fans in attendance.

What’s Next for Charlotte Flair?

While Flair was injured earlier this month, she won’t be having surgery until next month. Flair is expected to miss nine months of action. This would put Flair’s return window at some time in October 2024. This is a massive setback for Flair, who will miss next month’s Royal Rumble event, WrestleMania 40, and SummerSlam 2024. It had also been rumored that Flair was going to be Jade Cargill’s first opponent in WWE and if so, those plans will have to be changed.

Bianca Belair Says Charlotte Flair’s Injury Opens Up Spot On WWE Women’s Roster

Charlotte Flair did not plan on wrapping up her 2023 with an injury, but that is the situation we find ourselves in. The Queen is injured, and she will be out of action for 9 months. However, the show must go on with WWE.

Charlotte Flair has not had surgery yet, but it is coming. She suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus during that doomed botched SmackDown spot against Asuka

While speaking with ROAD Around the Ring, Bianca Belair spoke about Charlotte Flair’s recent unfortunate injury. She might be out of action, which is a huge blow to the women’s division, but that just opened up another spot for others.

“It is a huge blow. Charlotte Flair has been such a vital part of our women’s roster. She’s created so much history. She’s a legend. I’m not even gonna say a legend in the making. With the accolades that she has, she’s a legend. It’s really hard knowing that we’ve lost someone like Charlotte Flair right now for nine months. Me selfishly, we all know I’ve always looked up to Charlotte Flair, I’ve always wanted to have a dream match against her, with her, it doesn’t matter as long as I can be in the ring with her. But it does open up an opportunity for someone else, and that’s just the way this business is.”

“I always say, you gotta stay ready so you don’t have to get ready. You never know when your opportunity’s gonna come, whether it’s your time, whether it’s another spot that opens up. So we’ll have to see who steps up. At the end of the day, we’re all fighting for a spot at WrestleMania. So I’m even looking for my path to WrestleMania, ‘Am I gonna be on WrestleMania this year?’ So it’s very unfortunate, but it’s a spot that’s opened up for someone to shine.”

Bianca Belair was later questioned about potential candidates to fill the mentioned void. She responded that it could be anyone, but specifically mentioned Michin, Raquel Rodriguez, and Zoey Stark as potential contenders. Belair stressed that several competitors have the capability to step into that position.

“Anyone and everyone. Our roster is so deep, especially right now. I love how talented and deep our roster is. Especially on the SmackDown side, I feel like we have Michin, I feel like she’s stepping her game up. She’s coming back with a vengeance after Damage CTRL just took her out. On the Raw side, you have Raquel. I feel like she’s been showing up and showing out lately. Zoey [Stark]. It’s just so many women that can fill that spot.”

Bianca Belair fought hard for her spot in WWE, but that position had to open up in the first place for her to get it. Now that Charlotte Flair is out of action, odds are, the women’s division will see even more motivation for someone to step up and fill that huge hole she left in her absence.

We will keep our eye on Charlotte Flair’s road to recovery, because it may be quite a while before she is back in the ring. For more updates, check back with us at SE Scoops

WWE Queen Charlotte Flair reportedly signs historic new contract

It sounds like Charlotte Flair sealed a new deal with WWE.

According to Fightful Select, the future WWE Hall Of Famer signed an extension with the company that will reportedly keep her around for several years. The exact length and details of the deal is currently unknown but from how it sounds, it’s one that may have some history attached to it.

Fightful has heard that Flair’s new extension has a huge increase and it’s quite significant, so much that it’s one of the highest-paid deals for a woman in WWE history.

Not only that, but Charlotte has seemed to join the ranks of Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes as a top talent to receive a travel bus in the exchange.

Charlotte Flair Has A Major Injury To Deal With

While the extension is excellent news financially for Flair, the star unfortunately recently suffered some major injuries that will keep her on the shelf for months.

Over a week ago on the December 8 episode on WWE SmackDown, Flair performed her signature moonsault to the outside to Asuka. The match was abruptly ended and Flair was defeated after an interference by Bayley.

Flair was first reported to be out for at least nine months due to an injury to her knee and she will receive surgery over the holidays. However, there are several injuries to her knee after the spot which includes tears to her ACL, MCL and meniscus.

That clearly rules the star out for WrestleMania 40. She’ll be a notable omission considering she and Rhea Ripley stole the show with their match at WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles.

Charlotte Flair’s Injury Situation Is Far Worse Than Initially Feared

Charlotte Flair suffered an injury during the December 8th episode of WWE SmackDown. That match with Asuka did not turn out the way she wanted it to at all, and it will be her last contest for over half a year.

Backstory Behind Charlotte Flair’s Injury

Video from Charlotte Flair’s injury is hard to watch. She was pulled from the road, and now we are getting more details about her situation. She hasn’t had surgery yet, but one is reportedly scheduled for a couple of weeks.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Charlotte Flair is out of action with three different injuries, all of them surrounding her knee. This is not a good situation, and 9 months seems like a generous estimation for her return.

“Let me touch on Charlotte Flair really quick. She has not had surgery yet, but she has a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus, so that is her injuries.”

“I just wanted to get that out. Hopefully, she can get that out — I know they said on the SmackDown show, 9 months … it’s a while, and it’s never a good time to have an injury.”

What’s Next For Charlotte Flair After Her Knee Injury

Charlotte Flair was on her way to the Royal Rumble, and WrestleMania after that. Now, she will have to watch all of those events from the sidelines, and it’s anyone’s guess if she will make it back by SummerSlam.

WWE has lost a few key members of their roster due to injury. Charlotte Flair’s absence will be felt in the locker room. Thankfully, WWE also has a loaded women’s roster to help fill some of those holes while The Queen recovers.

Keep checking back with SE Scoops for more on Charlotte Flair’s injury and other updates.

Charlotte Flair To Have Knee Surgery Over The Holidays, Set To Be Out 9 Months

Don’t expect to see Charlotte Flair back in action until the latter part of 2024.

‘The Queen’ has been sidelined with an injury that is likely to keep her away from major WWE premium live events next year. The multi-time WWE Women’s Champion recently concerned the fans when her match with Asuka abruptly ended last Friday on SmackDown. Flair endured a defeat to Asuka after Bayley interfered.

Following the match, several photos and video clips capturing the moment spread like a fire on social media. The videos saw medical staff attending the former Women’s Champion.

It was later reported that Flair’s injury was legitimate and quite serious. ‘The Queen’ was also pulled from WWE live events. During last night’s episode of WWE SmackDown, it was announced that Charlotte Flair will be out of action for nine months following the knee injury. PWInsider is reporting that Flair will undergo surgery over the holidays.

Charlotte Flair could miss WrestleMania 40 & SummerSlam next year

There was a talk at Raw on Monday among the talents that Flair might have suffered a torn ACL. However, it wasn’t confirmed at the time.

Usually, a nine-month absence is seen for ACL tear, which usually requires at least six months’ recovery. It is to be seen if she is out for nine months because that means Flair would return around September next year. This indicates that she would miss both WrestleMania 40 and SummerSlam.

Charlotte Flair had started 2023 as WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion. She dropped the title to The Judgment Day’s Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 39. ‘The Queen’ went after IYO SKY for the WWE Women’s Championship but that led her to compete in her first-ever  WarGames match last month against Damage CTRL.

We at SEScoops wish Charlotte Flair a swift and speedy recovery.
