AEW Collision was taped following the most recent episode of Dynamite, which served as the season premiere of AEW programming. This marked the debut of a new stage (which marked the return of the tunnels) as well as a new color scheme.

Dynamite saw the debut of Kazuchika Okada who established himself as a heel by attacking Eddie Kingston and aligning himself with the Young Bucks. It had been reported for some time that Okada was going to debut on the show, with Tony Khan promising something huge in the days leading up to Dynamite.

Tony Khan: AEW Is Well-Equipped To Tackle Allegations of Misconduct

AEW is well-equipped to handle any allegations of misconduct brought to its disciplinary committee, according to company President Tony Khan.

In the wake of Janel Grant’s lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE, there has been a spotlight on how allegations of misconduct are handled in the wrestling industry. Grant alleges that she was sexually abused and trafficked by the 78-year-old billionaire. McMahon had denied all allegations but resigned from WWE in January of this year.

AEW’s Allegations

In late 2023, Chris Jericho was accused of acting inappropriately with Kylie Rae four years earlier, which allegedly led to her abrupt exit from AEW. At the following Worlds End event, Jericho faced hostile chants from fans addressing the allegations. Speaking on the post-show media scrum, Tony Khan he said he took accusations of sexual harassment seriously, though many felt choosing to wear Toni Storm’s silly glasses and hat undermined his point.

Tony Khan Comments

Speaking on the media call ahead of this weekend’s Revolution pay-per-view, Khan addressed how AEW can handle allegations of misconduct.

“We have trained professionals on the disciplinary committee, including two attorneys and Bryan Danielson. And they’re different backgrounds, and that’s the idea to have people from different backgrounds. And different experiences in wrestling, which is certainly its own unique business with its own unique set of challenges.

“And they would be looking out against all misconduct claims, and we’ve tried to train them up to do their best. I think, to really whatever the situation is, in terms of misconduct, to do whatever it takes to ensure the well-being of the wrestlers, which is first and foremost here above everything else.”

AEW Revolution will take place this Sunday, March 3, from the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Chris Jericho Return Confirmed for This Week’s AEW Dynamite

AEW veteran star Chris Jericho is set to make his return on this Wednesday’s edition of AEW Dynamite against CMLL’s Atlantis Jr.

AEW has built a working relationship with CMLL recently and AEW has featured several stars from the Mexican promotion. Atlantis is one of CMLL’s legendary stars, and he has competed around the world. He has held various titles in the promotion. He is a five-time CMLL World Tag Team Champion, a four-time CMLL World Trios Champion, and a two-time World Light Heavyweight Champion.

Now, his son, Atlantis Jr., who is the reigning NWA World Historic Light Heavyweight Champion and one-third of the CMLL World Trios Champions will be making an appearance on Dynamite.

Chris Jericho set to return

Jericho will be making his return to the ring for the first time since the February 7 Dynamite. On the Wednesday, February 28 episode of Dynamite, Jericho will compete under his “Lionheart” gimmick and face Atlantis Jr. as announced by AEW President Tony Khan on Tuesday.

The legendary Atlantis will be in his son’s corner for the match. Khan noted that Jericho and Atlantis teamed together in CMLL more than 30 years ago:

Meanwhile, it has been announced that Kris Statlander & Skye Blue will square off for the third time on the show as well. Tony Khan has also announced on social media on Tuesday that the third match between Statlander & Blue has been made official for this week’s Dynamite.

WWE Gave Chris Jericho Love During Elimination Chamber Event

WWE Elimination Chamber 2024 was live from the Optus Stadium in Perth, Western Australia. It was an early show for fans on the East Coast, and there is a lot unpack, as well. Chris Jericho was far away from the show, but he had his namedropped in the process.

Chris Jericho’s Name Mentioned During WWE Elimination Chamber

AEW star Chris Jericho, who is formerly a WWE Superstar, was referenced during the premium live event. Jericho spent much of his wrestling career with WWE before joining AEW in 2019. He has achieved numerous titles and accolades in WWE and is widely regarded as one of the premier talents in WWE history.

While WWE typically avoids mentioning AEW stars on their programming, Jericho was recently mentioned during the 2024 Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event. This occurred during the men’s Chamber match, which featured Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, LA Knight, Logan Paul, Bobby Lashley, and Kevin Owens.

As Randy Orton made his entrance, WWE commentator Michael Cole noted that Orton had tied Chris Jericho’s record for most appearances in the Elimination Chamber match.
With his participation in this year’s Chamber match, Orton has now established a new record, surpassing Jericho’s previous mark of eight appearances.

What’s Next?

Chris Jericho seems very happy in AEW, so a full-fledged WWE return might not be in the cards. Still, The Wizard is having a good time in AEW, and it must feel good for him to know that all the effort he made in WWE to carve out a legacy for himself is now getting credit on television once again.

We will have to see if WWE lifts the ban on other names of people who are not with the company anymore. Jon Moxley’s name is still not spoken about much, and Shield video packages are even edited to exclude him.

SE Scoops will have more on this story as more information is known on the matter.

The Walking Dead Author Joins Forces with Chris Jericho for New Film

Chris Jericho’s career is not limited to the pro wrestling ring. He is known for stepping on a stage and rocking out with Fozzy, but he has also landed a few acting gigs in the past. Now, he has another role outside AEW.

Chris Jericho’s New Acting Gig

Deadline reports that Chris Jericho is embarking on a new project, teaming up with The Walking Dead author Jay Bonansinga for the psychological thriller “Self Storage.” The film is based on Bonansinga’s 2016 novel of the same name. Lew Temple is featured as the lead character, John Fitzgerald, but Jericho also has a part in the project in a supporting role.

The movie revolves around a heroin-addicted father and his son accidentally locking themselves inside a self-storage unit. Their survival hinges on a battle with demons, both real and manufactured by drug withdrawal.

Bonansinga is known for directing the short films “City of Men” and “Stash,” will take on the director’s role, working from the script he also wrote. The movie is set to be executive produced by Jericho’s Babyface Assassin Productions, alongside Bonansinga, Jeff Siegel for Delirium Tremens, and Jason Cherubini for Dawn’s Light.

Chris Jericho’s Previous Acting Experience

Jericho has previously starred in productions like “Country Hearts Christmas” and “Terrifier 2.” We also cannot forget how he played a klansman in the “Jay and Silent Bob Reboot.”

In addition to his film ventures, the former AEW World Heavyweight Champion is still a full-time wrestler. He is currently scheduled to wrestle Konosuke Takeshita on the upcoming episode of Dynamite.

Allegations Against Chris Jericho

Although the controversy has somewhat faded, due to Vince McMahon’s scandal taking every headline for weeks, Jericho just came out of his own scandal. He was called out for having NDAs signed to keep stories out of the public, and then allegations involving Kylie Rae surfaced. The former AEW star added fuel to the fire by reacting to one tweet concerning those allegations.

Chris Jericho, DDP, Cody Rhodes & More Contribute Big Money To Ice Train’s GoFundMe Campaign After His Passing

The pro wrestling world is like a family in many ways. When someone is taken from us, many times the community steps up to help those who were left behind. After Ice Train’s passing, many of those who knew him are now helping his family through this trying time.

Ice Train’s GoFundMe

Ice Train passed away at 56-years-old, and many who worked with him during his days in the ring spoke out to grieve the loss. As of this writing, his cause of death has not been publicly disclosed, but he had health issues. Now, his family is in need of assistance.

The description for the GoFundMe, written by Diamond Dallas Page, explains how the money will be used to help Ice Train’s family. The two had a 30-year friendship, and now DDP wants to make sure that Harold Hogue’s family is taken care of to the best of his ability.

Ice Train was born with congenital heart disease, so he couldn’t get insurance. Due to this, his family is in a terrible circumstance right now.

Harold Hogue aka “Ice Train” aka “Smooth” (to me he was always “H”) was a warrior and one of the kindest people I’ve ever known. Our 30 year relationship was filled with laughter & brotherhood. We were always there for each other.

Our families are one family.

Harold was born with a congenital heart disease and passed away unexpectedly on January 23, 2024. Because of his condition, he was unable to get life insurance, leaving his wife Tiana and his 7 kids too soon…without their rock, and their primary provider.

Please consider donating in honor of Harold, to help support his family after losing such a great husband, father, and friend. I love you H – DDP.

As of this writing, they have raised $17,990 of their $50,000 goal. Some notable names have already contributed substantial donations for the campaign.

Notable Donations Already

Several figures from the wrestling community have contributed to Ice Train’s GoFundMe campaign. Dallas Page donated $10,000, Chris Jericho contributed $5,000, and Cody Rhodes put in $1,000.

Our thoughts are with Ice Train’s family, friends, and fans at this time. We hope that they reach their goal, because his family could certainly use the assistance. You may visit the link here for more information on Ice Train’s GoFundMe account.

WWE Superstar Allegedly Knocked Chris Jericho Out During His 2020 Cruise

Chris Jericho’s name captures attention whenever he makes a headline. In recent memory, some stories have come out about Chris Jericho that he may have wished stayed under the rug. This is likely one of those times he wishes an NDA was signed.

Chris Jericho Was Allegedly KO’ed On His Own Cruise Ship

Brian Last shared a tale during an episode of the Cornette’s Drive Thru podcast, recounting an incident where Jericho was knocked out on his own cruise. Sadly, he couldn’t go into a ton of details at the time, but Last promised listeners that he had a great story to tell.

“Man, there is a story I would love to tell, but i didn’t get permission, but him getting knocked out on his own cruise ship by someone he mouthed off to. It’s the most incredible f*cking story, but I can’t talk about that today.“

Now, we have a lot more information about what happened, including who allegedly knocked Chris Jericho out.

Chris Jericho leads a rock star lifestyle, and it’s not just a gimmick. It appears that, according to Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net, it was MVP who put Chris Jericho down for the count on his own cruise in 2020.

The incident took place during Chris Jericho’s Rock N’ Wrestling Rager At Sea – Part Deux: Second Wave, back in January 2020. During the cruise there was an altercation between Jericho and former WWE US and Tag Champion MVP, where heated words were exchanged that resulted in MVP knocking out Chris Jericho.

Another incident was reportedly confirmed by sources a year or two after the cruise. This time, the situation unfolded in a hotel lobby. During a heated exchange, Jericho quickly headed to the elevator, closing the door with a remark, “I don’t fight jobbers.”

The story that was told to me was that the two once again engaged in a heated exchange, which lead to Jericho “hurrying to the elevator, and as the door closed saying “I don’t fight jobbers.””

Other Allegations Against Chris Jericho

This is not the first time in recent memory that Chris Jericho’s name was brought up in a story that didn’t paint him in the best light. On the morning of AEW Worlds End, allegations surfaced that he had allegations akin to Harvey Weinstein that may surface.

Nick Hausman stated on his Rumor and Innuendo podcast that Jericho, who spoke out against NDAs regarding the Brawl Out fiasco, may have skeletons in his own closet.

“There are issues with Chris behind the scenes, where I know a lot of people who were hurt by Chris and his actions. You know, it’s very uncomfortable to me to see him lauded like he is and only having the focus on that, because I do think there are a lot of questionable stories about Chris that will find their way out over time when people are ready to tell those stories, that will cast him in a very different light.”

“I mean, Harvey Weinstein won a lot of Oscars, Harvey Weinstein produced a lot of very popular films. Harvey Weinstein is now in jail … I’m not saying that is happening to Chris, but the narrative can quickly turn if you’re hiding a lot of skeletons in your closet.

Later on, an online allegation surfaced about Jericho’s conduct with Kylie Rae. This behavior allegedly led to her requesting a release from AEW. Rae reacted to that accusatory post with a heart emoji.

Following the spread of the Nick Hausman clip, an X account revisited an overlooked tweet from an earlier time. The resurfaced tweet suggested a potential connection between Kylie Rae’s departure from AEW and Chris Jericho.

“So here’s the deal, you don’t quit the hottest fed going today (AEW) without reason. I have it from people in the know that Kylie was asked to go to Chris Jericho’s room. With the understanding that others would be there. When she got there it was just him. He made a pass at her (no other details are given) and she freaked out.”

Chris Jericho’s Future in AEW

Despite these allegations about Chris Jericho, he is still featured on AEW programming. He wrestled at Worlds End, although “NDA” and “Kylie Rae” chants were audible during the pay-per-view.

To remedy any chance of negative fan chants during the January 10th AEW Dynamite Homecoming episode in Daily’s Place, they let Fozzy’s “Judas” song play for the entire time Jericho was on camera.

Jericho and Sammy Guevara are set to battle Big Bill and Ricky Starks for the AEW World Tag Team Titles at AEW Battle of the Belts on January 13th.

UPDATE: MVP Responds

MVP has posted on X in response to this story about him knocking out Chris Jericho surfaced. He did not deny a single thing, as he only asked fans if they heard any good rumors lately.

AEW Drowns Out Fans During Chris Jericho’s Dynamite Segment

AEW had a unique approach to their production when Chris Jericho made an appearance during the latest episode of AEW Dynamite.

The January 10, 2023, edition of Dynamite saw the first appearance of new AEW World Champion Samoa Joe following his victory at Worlds End. Joe was confronted by Swerve Strickland and ‘Hangman’ Adam Page before HOOK got in the face of the champ. A title match between Joe and Hook will take place next week.

Chris Jericho at AEW Dynamite

During the show, Sammy Guevara earned a victory over Ricky Starks, but was attacked by Starks and Big Bill after the match. Chris Jericho would come out to make the save, though his music would play throughout the entire segment.

While Jericho’s theme is popular, using Judas throughout an entire segment is a new move by AEW’s production team. On Twitter, many suspected that this done to drown out boos from the crowd for Jericho, or keep fans ready to chant at the former World Champion distracted with singing his theme.

You can check out some of the reactions by fans below.

Chris Jericho Allegations

It makes sense that AEW would want to drown out fans at AEW Dynamite, given the allegations against Jericho. AEW’s first World Champion allegedly acted inappropriately with Kylie Rae in 2019, which some have claimed led to Rae’s prompt exit from AEW that year. Jericho faced loud “Kylie Rae” and “NDA” chants at AEW Worlds End. Following the show, Tony Khan said that AEW took allegations very seriously but would not speak specifically about Jericho’s situation

Chris Jericho recently had some choice words for Stephen New, the lawyer of CM Punk & Ace Steel connected to Brawl Out…

CM Punk’s Lawyer: If Chris Jericho Saw Brawl Out, He Should Be Bound By An NDA

Steve New, the lawyer of CM Punk and Ace Steel, believes that Chris Jericho should be bound by an NDA relating to All Out 2022 if he isn’t already.

Jericho has been very vocal about the infamous backstage brawl that saw Punk and Steel fight the Elite and overshadow the September 2022 pay-per-view. Recently, Jericho claimed that he was not bound by an NDA, teasing that he’d speak publicly about the matter. When New refuted the idea, Jericho gave a fiery comeback on Christmas Day and branded New a “mark” who should shut up.

Chris Jericho’s Potential NDA

On a recent edition of Nick Hausman’s Rumor and Innuendo podcast, New was asked for his reaction to Jericho’s remarks. New admitted to being surprised and still believes that Jericho should be tied to an NDA preventing him from speaking about the matter.

“Without revealing too much of the confidentiality to which I am bound, is my understanding that anyone who witnessed the incident at All Out 2022 would have been obligated to sign an NDA. Chris indicated he was a witness, which, to me, implies that he would have been examined by the law firm investigating the incident and required to sign an NDA.”

New added that whether Jericho saw the backstage fight or not, AEW’s confidential policies may prevent him from addressing the matter publicly.

“Furthermore, I believe that AEW talent is obligated to maintain confidentiality, as it is part of the company’s policies, handbooks, and regulations. Therefore, whether Jericho witnessed a part of the incident or not, he is still bound by the company’s confidentiality policies.”

While Jericho has claimed that he doesn’t have an NDA preventing him from talking about the “disgusting” events of the brawl, he has yet to give any new information about what happened.

Chris Jericho’s Potential Trouble

Chris Jericho is currently facing allegations of misconduct with Kylie Rae which may have been a factor behind her exit from AEW. The inaugural AEW World Champion faced “NDA” and “Kylie Rae” chants at Worlds End, and a hashtag calling for him to be fired trended during the show. On the post-Worlds End media scrum, Tony Khan (donned in Toni Storm’s hat and sunglasses) says AEW takes allegations like this very seriously

Chris Jericho Hit with “NDA” & “Kylie Rae” Chants at AEW Worlds End PPV

AEW Worlds End 2023 proved to be a tough night at the office for Chris Jericho who was on the receiving end of some choice chants from the Long Island crowd.

In the fifth match of the show (and eighth match if you include the pre-show) Jericho was victorious in an eight-man tag-team match. The bout saw Jericho, Sammy Guevara, Sting and Darby Allin defeat AEW World Tag Team Champions Big Bill and Ricky Starks, and Konosuke Takeshita and Powerhouse Hobbs.

Chris Jericho Faces Chants

Jericho’s appearance at the show was something of a surprise, as some fans expected him to be pulled from AEW Worlds End. In the hours before the show, Jericho faced allegations of misconduct with wrestler Kylie Rae. Nick Hausman made mention of Jericho having skeletons in his closet, and Rae herself reacted with a heart to a post saying that Jericho is not a safe person to be around for young women in wrestling.

While Jericho competed at Worlds End, the fans made it clear they are aware of the allegations against him. Jericho was on the receiving end of “NDA” chants from the crowd in Long Island. Ironically, Jericho recently dismissed the notion that he is tied to an NDA relating to last year’s Brawl Out situation

There were also chants for Kylie Rae during the match, as seen in the clip below.

There were also audible boos for the wrestling veteran at the event.

At this time, AEW President Tony Khan has yet to address the allegations against Jericho, who was the first-ever AEW World Champion. It is likely he will be asked about the matter during the post-Worlds End media scrum.

Allegations Surface Regarding Chris Jericho & Kylie Rae

Chris Jericho is a legendary pro wrestler, and he was responsible for much of AEW’s early rise in popularity. On the day of AEW Worlds End, a troubling allegation dropped about him that could paint him in an entirely different light.

Chris Jericho and Non-Disclosure Agreements

Chris Jericho and CM Punk and Ace Steel’s attorney, Stephen P New, recently had it out on social media. The whole ordeal surrounded the non-disclosure agreements that everyone involved in Brawl Out signed.

Chris Jericho claimed that he never signed any NDA about this. Then Stephen P New fired back to say that a confidentiality clause is in the AEW Employee Handbook.

Alleged Skeletons in Chris Jericho’s Closet

Haus of Wrestling’s Nick Hausman later called Chris Jericho out for having people sign NDAs himself. That got Hausman a subsequent block from the former AEW World Champion.

Nick Hausman later had Stephen P New on his Rumor and Innuendo podcast for an interview about everything that was going on with that situation.

Then, a clip of Nick Hausman from that Rumor and Innuendo podcast went viral. In that clip, Hausman made mention of skeletons in Chris Jericho’s closet. He also brought Harvey Weinstein’s name into the situation as a comparison to Jericho’s situation.

Chris Jericho and Kylie Rae

A short time later, after that clip went viral, an X account re-posted an older tweet that didn’t get much traction at the time. This tweet implied that Kylie Rae may have left AEW due to Chris Jericho.

Another tweet was posted talking about women who are waiting until it’s safe to speak about Chris Jericho. Kylie Rae reacted to it, as she posted a heart emoji.

Why did Kylie Rae leave AEW?

During the All Out 2019 media scrum, Sean Ross Sapp asked Tony Khan about Kylie Rae’s status with the company. Reports had previously broke saying that she had requested her release from the company, but no other information was known at the time.

Tony Khan confirmed in 2019 that Kylie Rae is no longer with AEW. He said that she asked for her release, and it was granted. That split was also said to be a “super amicable” one.

“She is no longer with us. We had so many announcements going into the battle royal, she asked for her release, and we granted it. She called me and asked if she could be released from her contract. It’s pretty simple, I said, ‘yeah,’ I asked her if everything was okay, she said, ‘Yeah,’ she just didn’t want to be with the company anymore. We talked about it. It was very simple. So yeah.”

Chris Jericho Reacts To CM Punk Wrestling His First Match In A Decade for WWE

Chris Jericho has been pretty active on social media the past few days and has garnered some buzz because of it.

Over the Christmas holiday, Jericho and Steve P. New, an attorney who has represented several wrestling personalities over his career,  exchanged words back and forth due to the impending litigation surrounding the “Brawl Out” incident in September 2022. New happens to represent CM Punk and Ace Steel in the legal dispute and the argument he and Jericho were having was over non-disclosure agreements.

Jericho says he never signed an NDA while New states it would be in his employee handbook. This led to a contentious exchange where Jericho called New a “mark” and said what he saw went down was “truly disgusting” in the infamous backstage incident.

Chris Jericho Tips Cap To CM Punk & WWE

Despite Jericho having contention with New, it appears to want to keep things copacetic with CM Punk and WWE.

Punk made his in-ring return for WWE Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden to face Dominik Mysterio and WWE posted a video of Punk’s entrance up on Instagram. Jericho decided to leave a comment of his one, simply putting “Congrats” with three flame emojis.

screen shot 2023 12 27 at 100805 am 1

From an outsider’s perspective, Punk and Jericho’s relationship in the past has appeared rocky. During the All Out incident, Fightful Select reported that numerous sources cited Jericho calling Punk a “a cancer” in the locker room. However, Jericho also noted that Punk exiting AEW was a “regrettable” situation.

Don Callis Expresses Morbid Wish Of Uncertain Execution For Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho recently stirred up a bit of controversy online with his tirade against Stephen P. New and non-disclosure agreements. It appears that Don Callis is aware of this, and he has something to say.

The Story Behind Don Callis’ Disturbing Post

Don Callis joined AEW when Kenny Omega won the AEW World Title in December 2020. As a top heel on the AEW payroll, drawing more boos than most of the roster combined, Callis has maintained a feud with Chris Jericho that continues to this day. They have a lot of history with each other, which Callis has helped draw from in their rivalry.

The recent online dispute involving Chris Jericho, CM Punk and Ace Steel’s lawyer Stephen P. New, and the NDA claim has escalated tensions. Chris Jericho had a few unfiltered posts about the subject.

Jericho publicly denied signing a non-disclosure agreement related to the Brawl Out incident, prompting a swift response from Stephen P New. He has since trended as fans discuss this topic with their own agendas attached.

The famous attorney asserted that everyone who was involved in the backstage brawl signed lifelong NDAs. The dispute then took a turn against Jericho when New stated that an NDA in written into the AEW Employee Handbook.

Don Callis’ Morbid Wish For Chris Jericho

Amidst this ongoing drama, Don Callis took to X and expressed his desire for Chris Jericho to face an uncertain execution date. He likened this to death row inmates who are unaware of their execution date.

In certain countries it is reported that death row inmates are not told their execution date. They wake up everyday wondering if that day is their last day on earth. I wish this for Chris Jericho

Don Callis then found another post he wanted to share. That particular post shows a man getting stepped on by an elephant. The caption for that post was quite explicit.

Execution by elephant was an old method of capital punishment in South and Southeast Asia, particularly in India, where Asian elephants were used to crush, dismember or torture captives in public executions.

The animals were trained to kill victims immediately or to torture them slowly over a prolonged period.

Most commonly employed by royalty, the elephants were used to signify both the ruler’s power of life and death over his subjects and his ability to control wild animals.

https://twitter.com/Morbidful/status/1739334539472720261

Don Callis re-posted that image and caption, along with his own thoughts: “On second thought. I would like to introduce Jericho to an elephant,”

Don Callis is playing up quite a heel on AEW television. He may have some honest feelings of resentment that he is also able to let slip out there with posts like this.

What’s Next For Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho said that he will pick a new tag team partner to take on Ricky Starks and Big Bill for the AEW World Tag Team Titles. The Wizard said that he still has a contract for a match, and he will replace Omega after The Cleaner was taken out due to diverticulitis.

AEW fans may find out who Chris Jericho is replacing Kenny Omega with very soon. AEW Worlds End is going down on December 30th, so he only has a few days to make that call.

Chris Jericho: I’m Not Bound by AEW Brawl NDA, Punk’s Lawyer is A Mark Who Should Shut Up

Chris Jericho could be prepared to spill the beans regarding what happened backstage at AEW All Out 2022, provided he is allowed.

At the September 2022 pay-per-view, CM Punk captured his second AEW World Championship, besting Jon Moxley in the show’s main event. After the show, Punk would shoot on several members of the AEW roster. Backstage, Punk, Ace Steel, The Elite, and others would participate in a backstage fight that resulted in all parties being suspended.

Chris Jericho and the NDA

This week, it was reported that all those involved in the backstage fight at All Out 2022 were dealing with a non-disclosure agreement. The only exception, according to these reports, is Lucy Guy, the wife of Ace Steel, who was present at the backstage altercation. On Twitter, Chris Jericho claimed that he is not bound by an NDA, implying that he could soon speak about the backstage fight.

This comment caught the attention of Steve New, the legal representative of both Ace Steel and CM Punk. New claimed that Jericho will have some sort of NDA in his employee handbook unless he has a very special agreement with AEW. New also offered to comb over Jericho’s contract.

Jericho didn’t take too kindly to New’s comments. In a fiery response, Jericho claimed New was trying to be a bully and added that New “should shut your mark ass up.”

Chris Jericho & the Brawl

Chris Jericho was one of the most vocal critics of CM Punk following what transpired last year in Chicago. Jericho called CM Punk a “cancer” following All Out, a comment that would be echoed by WWE’s Seth Rollins months later. Jericho would reportedly be part of a team that tried to prevent Punk’s return but the Chicago-Made wrestler was brought back in June of this year. After Punk’s firing from AEW in September, Jericho called Punk’s departure regrettable

Chris Jericho Will Find New Partner For AEW Worlds End In Kenny Omega’s Absence

Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega were all set to challenge Big Bill and Ricky Starks for the AEW World Tag Team Titles at Worlds End on December 30th, then Kenny Omega’s health took a turn for the worse. Despite losing his Golden Jets partner, Chris Jericho will continue without The Cleaner.

AEW Tag Team Title Match At Worlds End

Chris Jericho is determined to win the AEW Tag Team Titles at AEW Worlds End, even in the absence of Kenny Omega due to diverticulitis. He made that very clear on AEW Collision this week.

During the December 23rd episode of AEW Collision, Ricky Starks and Big Bill announced their intention to take the night off and celebrate. They suggested that the scheduled tag team match at Worlds End was canceled since Kenny Omega is not able to compete.

However, Chris Jericho stepped in, and he revealed something very important. He still possesses a contract entitling him to an AEW Tag Team Title match. Le Champion is not fazed by Kenny Omega’s absence, because the show must go on.

Chris Jericho then declared his intention to find a partner and challenge Ricky Starks and Big Bill for the titles at AEW Worlds End. He didn’t reveal who his partner will be at the pay-per-view.

Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega secured their opportunity for the AEW Tag Team Titles by defeating The Young Bucks at AEW Full Gear. The Young Bucks used that loss to turn heel as well.

AEW Worlds End 2023 Card:

MJF vs Samoa Joe – AEW World Title

Big Bill & Ricky Starks vs TBD & Chris Jericho – AEW World Tag Team Titles

Christian Cage vs. Adam Copeland – AEW TNT Title

Continental Classic Final

Julia Hart vs Abadon – TBS Title

Hook vs Wheeler Yuta – FTW Title

Chris Jericho Responds to Fan’s Suggestion of Taking a Break

AEW star Chris Jericho recently responded to a fan who suggested him to take time off in order to give the fans a chance to miss him.

Jericho’s tag-team partner Kenny Omega is currently out of action for an indefinite period as he was diagnosed with diverticulitis following his match with Ethan Page. ‘The Cleaner’ was admitted to hospital immediately after the match and shared an update on his health condition.

It’s worth noting that Omega and Chris Jericho were set to compete in a tag team match at the AEW’s final pay-per-view of the year, AEW Worlds End. However, that match has been called off at the moment.

As Omega is sidelined, a fan took to Twitter and opined that ‘The Demo God’ should take some time off and give the fans an opportunity to miss him.

Chris Jericho responds

The inaugural AEW World Champion had none of it and fired back at the fan. In a sarcastic response, Jericho made it clear that he will be present at AEW Dynamite this Wednesday.

“Great idea! See ya on Wednesday….”

Chris Jericho is not only having a great time in AEW but he also has some outside projects. Most recently, it came to light that he will be reprising his role in the upcoming Terrifier 3. He had a cameo in Terrifier 2, and it has now been confirmed that he will make a comeback in the sequel of the movie.

Jericho was briefly featured in Terrifier 2 credits scene, which set up the next installment in the series. Terrifier 3 will hit the theaters on October 25, 2024.

Chris Jericho Says ‘The Iron Claw’ Will Be “Really Interesting”

AEW star Chris Jericho hasn’t watched ‘The Iron Claw’ yet but that doesn’t keep him away from shedding praise on the movie.

‘The Iron Claw’ captures the lives and tragedies of the famous Von Erich wrestling family. The wrestling lineage began with Fritz Von Erich (real name Jack Adkisson,) and his sons would taste success in the squared circle. The Von Erichs are still active in wrestling at present with Marshall & Ross Von Erich competing to this day.

Chris Jericho, who has yet to watch the movie had nothing but praise for the movie as well as the wrestling family.

Chris Jericho comments

While speaking to Dallas News, he said that from what he’s heard, the movie has done a good job and reckoned that it will interesting to watch the Von Erich movie. Here is what he said:

“I haven’t seen the movie yet. I think it’s going to be really interesting. I think a lot of times Hollywood does a terrible job of making wrestling movies. They one exception, of course, is The Wrestler with Mickey Rourke. I think this one, from what I’ve heard, it’s done a good job of that as well.

He further spoke about never meeting a member of Von Erich and he’s quite excited that the family will be attending AEW Dynamite. He added:

“I’ve never met a Von Erich. I know the story as much as anybody else does, just from reading about it. So, I’m excited to kind of see that interpretation. … And I’m actually excited because the Von Erichs are going to be at Dynamite, and that’ll be the first time I’ve ever met a Von Erich ever, in any way, shape or form. So, you know, that’s pro wrestling royalty and such an uplifting story in a lot of ways, such a tragedy in other ways. So it’ll be cool to kind of get a chance to say hi to Kevin and pay respect.”

Meanwhile, Chris Jericho’s former rival and current AEW World Champion MJF had a role in The Iron Claw but his role was originally much bigger than what made the final cut. ‘The Salt of The Earth’ also made his presence felt at ‘The Iron Claw’ Premiere in Los Angeles.

For The Betterment Of AEW, Tony Khan Needs To Hot Tag In These Duos Behind The Curtain

One really couldn’t think of a greater moral compass for a wrestling company than Bryan Danielson. He by all accounts, has the perfect balance of life – one that exists outside of wrestling (which is pretty key if we’re being honest – wrestlers and fans alike). He’s got a family to keep him grounded, causes to be an advocate for and plenty of books to read. He can disassociate from pro wrestling, a career he’s still absolutely passionate about, but bring in out of the ring elements for better synergy.

Even that considered, he’s a team player, extremely considerate and a modern wrestling oracle to pick the brain of. You factor in Jerry Lynn, those two are the ultimate good cops.

You need a bad cop.

A heavy. Someone who doesn’t take any kind of nonsense, looks at the bottom line for what it is. Does “they” or “their actions” or what they’re doing help the growth of the company? If they don’t do such, cut whatever fat there may be. There should be two credible sheriffs in town and that “bad cop” onus should not be burdened upon one of your top on-air talents.

That’s also not saying Tony Khan should recruit a “yes man, either. Being a billionaire, he’s probably got a few already and they’re certainly not helping to grow the product. However, if Tony could take himself out of the equation, and put the trust in the team he’s assembled, he would do wonders for his company. A company that quite frankly, is failing to hit its mark in certain ways.

In addition to a heavy, there’s so many established names who could help better the promotion if he gave them full autonomy to regulate like Nate Dogg and Warren G. And instead of just one, why not make it two? Here are some “tag teams” behind the scenes that Tony Khan could utilize (two of which who currently aren’t under contract).

Jake Roberts & Arn Anderson

Who was equally excited and intrigued at the possibility of Jake Roberts back with a pro wrestling company? Who was also equally disappointed that Arn wasn’t made the most of during his tenure here? Both he and his son Brock were not re-signed when their contracts expired and it feels like a missed opportunity by Tony Khan on both names, who seemed to only associate them with Cody Rhodes’ time here.

How much could that young talent learn from “The Snake” or “The Enforcer”when it comes to promo skills, ring psychology and real life problems?

Re-sign the Andersons and designate Arn and Jake as your Dusty Rhodes to your NXT. Let them filter through the good and the bad before they’re Dynamite ready and don’t let anybody tell them “no” either.

Jeff Jarrett & Jim Ross

Tony Khan admittedly says he overworks himself and that’s why Bryan Danielson appointed Jimmy Jacobs to help as an assistant. Khan did tap into wrestling history when he signed Jeff Jarrett, first as a talent and then as the Senior Vice President of Live Events, but Double J wears a lot of hats. Khan has shown the capability of laying out a great (albeit very long) PPV, but weekly television programming is another story. Actually sometimes there’s so many stories it’s hard to pin good ones down, especially if you’re a casual viewer.

Allowing Jarrett and JR (who currently is away from television), to be your ultimate booking brain trust lends your company to the old school booking mindset, a structure AEW truly needs. Paring two names who learned from the best in the territory days is really only going to help a show that’s too fast-paced and too cluttered.

Karen Jarrett & Mickie James

If you watch the AEW women’s division, you know it feels neglected. Major names and pinnacle storytellers like Thunder Rosa and Britt Baker are currently not competing, and the announcements of any women’s match feels sudden without any pomp, circumstance or substance (with the exception of “Timeless” Toni Storm, of course.)

She may not be under contract with AEW, but Mickie James knows how to book an all-women’s wrestling show. She did that with NWA Empowerrr and she’s doing it again in 2024 in Australia as a part of Starrcast VI.

Karen Jarrett knows how to make the most of her on camera without even doing a hip-toss. Unfortunately for the women, many don’t receive the experience or the opportunity to let their personalities shine. Both these veterans tagging up would do wonders for bringing the AEW women back to relevancy.

Paul Wight & Mark Henry

Remember the aforementioned “heavy”? Taking it figuratively and literally with this these two. Both legends are currently signed with AEW, but not much is being done with either and it’s unfortunate. Wight is someone who’s main-evented and worked with main-eventers his entire career while Henry has been someone who’s wrestled all throughout the card.

You think a talent is going to go off-script or do a dangerous move for a forgettable pop if they have to answer to Wight or Henry afterwards? If they did it would most likely be their last time and that’s not even considering the name cache they. Make these two your “bad cops” and they would know how to maintain a healthy relationship in the locker room.

Matt Hardy & Chris Jericho

From how it sounds, AEW has its fair share of locker room leaders behind the scenes, but what about having two primary checkpoints who have shown the ability to adapt, innovate and sympathize?

Jericho and Hardy have formed friendships with anybody and everybody of whatever status or age, including the AEW EVPs. Maybe they already are, but making them the go-to mediators for any issues between boots and management could cultivate a solid structure within AEW’s loaded ecosystem of stars.

Jerry Lynn & Dustin Rhodes

Nobody should ever have a bad word to say about Jerry Lynn and if you do, you’re likely part of the problem. It’s been too awesome to have Lynn and Dustin Rhodes be a vital part of AEW’s growth and if there’s been chaos backstage, you can guarantee neither have been apart of it.

Giving them the opportunity to harness and harmonize your roster from an in-ring standpoint is likely something that has happened on several occasions. Both have an old-school upbringing, but very different styles, Make them have the final say as to what goes down between the ropes every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Appreciate The Past & Look Forward To The Future

With all these legendary names behind the curtain or in the ring, it’s easy to say so many are being under-utilized, but the presentation of the current AEW product speaks to the notion that they’re standing on the apron.

Give them the hot tag and let them take you home. That’s teamwork.

Chris Jericho Returning to Popular Slasher Franchise with ‘Terrifier 3’

AEW veteran star Chris Jericho will be reprising his role in the upcoming Terrifier 3. He had a cameo in Terrifier 2, and it has been confirmed that he is set to return in the sequel of the movie.

AEW star Chris Jericho was briefly featured in Terrifier 2 credits scene, which set up the next installment in the series and it revolves around the main character, Art the Clown. On October 25, 2024, Terrifier 3 will drop in the theaters, and fans are already excited about it.

Andreas Wiseman of Deadline recently had a conversation with director Damien Leone and star Lauren LaVera while they promoted the film. When asked about stars who are returning for the third movie, Leon noted that Chris Jericho will be featured in it. Here are the comments:

“There are a few new major chaaracters introduced in three, one in particular that it’s too soon for me to announce…What I think I can say at this stage is that Chris Jericho [who has a cameo role as a psychiatric hospital attendant in a credits scene] is going to be returning. He’s super excited. This one is going to pick up where Part 2 left off, in the insane asylum, so, you’re going to see what transpires there, what mayhem unfolds, because seeing how Art and Victoria ended up, is so insane, and seeing how they get out of that situation and what happens next is going to be really wild. So, we have to get Chris back in there and see how he becomes a part of that situation.”

Chris Jericho confirms

The former AEW World Champion took to his Twitter account and confirmed his role in the upcoming movie. Here is the Tweet:

Meanwhile, Jericho has been advertised to be featured on the December 13 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Chris Jericho: ‘AEW is The Place to be, No Matter Who is in Charge of WWE’

Chris Jericho is expecting to finish his career with AEW despite working for WWE for the majority of his time in the wrestling business.

Jericho was the biggest name to sign with AEW in 2019 before Tony Khan secured a weekly television deal to air Dynamite on TNT, now TBS.

The top AEW star was asked about this while speaking with Daily Star, and he has zero interest in ever going back to WWE. Jericho said he loves everyone in WWE.

The Place to be

“I don’t see why it wouldn’t be. I don’t hold a torch for WWE. To me, that’s not ‘the place to be’. AEW is the place to be. It really is. I’ve been in WWE. I know how it works. They work that way, I don’t care if Vince is there, Hunter is there, or whoever is there. They have a way of doing things, and I was there for 20 years and was pretty good at it.”

Jericho stated that he likes how things are done in AEW and doesn’t know why he wouldn’t want to finish his career in the promotion because he’s having fun in wrestling.

“Business is business and there’s always ups and downs, but I have zero interest in ever going back to WWE. That’s not out of bitterness or anger. I love Vince and I love Hunter and all the people there.”

Jericho believes he has a stake in the game and he takes pride in being one of the few to have had the experience of being on national TV before AEW launched in 2019. He also feels like there is so much more for him to do in the promotion.

After signing an extension, Jericho is under contract with AEW through December 2025. Jericho will be in action at AEW’s Revolution by taking on Ricky Starks.

Chris Jericho Teases WWE Tag-Team Reunion With Trademark Filing

Could Chris Jericho be reuniting with an old WWE ally and former Tag Team Champion?

Despite being best known for his work as a singles star, Jericho is no stranger to tag team competition, having held tag gold in the WWE on seven occasions.

In AEW, Jericho has aligned himself with others as part of the Jericho Appreciation Society, and before this group was a founding member of the Inner Circle.

A Giant Reunion

Chris Jericho may be the namesake for the Jericho Appreciation Society, but may soon be reuniting with Paul Wight.

This week, Jericho filed a trademark for ‘Jeri-Show’ the WWE team consisting of himself and Wight (then The Big Show,) that dominated from 2009 to 2010.

The full description of the filing can be read below.

Mark For: JERI-SHOW trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainers; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainers; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainers; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestling and sports entertainers in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes.

Jeri-Show

After failing to recapture the Intercontinental Championship from Rey Mysterio in 2009, Jericho entered the tag-team division, winning the Unified WWE Tag Titles with Edge at ‘The Bash.’

After Edge went down with an injury, Jericho introduced the Big Show as his new tag-team partner, and the pair enjoyed a 140-day reign as champions.

That reign ended at WWE: TLC 2009, when the pair lost a TLC match to D-Generation X, kicking off Shawn Michaels’ final championship reign.

While Wight has only had a handful of matches in AEW, the Giant has said he plans to be back in the ring very soon after healing up from surgery.

Chris Jericho Gifted the Intercontinental Title He Won in 1999

Chris Jericho has claimed an important piece of memorabilia from his legendary wrestling career.

The WWE Intercontinental championship has long been considered one of the industry’s most prestigious prizes. Often referred to as the ‘workhorse’ belt, there have been 89 IC champions since the title was introduced in 1979. Pat Patterson was crowned the inaugural champion after winning a grueling, very-real tournament held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The list of men who have held the IC championship includes Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, “Macho Man” Randy Savage, “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Razor Ramon, Steve Austin, The Rock and more.

Chris Jericho and the Intercontinental Title

The IC title holds special meaning for Jericho. He’s had a record nine IC title reigns. It was also the first championship he won as a WWE Superstar.

Jericho’s first reign came when he defeated Chyna at ‘WWE Armageddon’ on December 12, 1999. He lost possession of his first Intercontinental belt at some point over the years. Now, it’s back where it belongs.

Dan Lambert, founder of the American Top Team MMA gym, is an avid wrestling fan and belt collector. Lambert was on board the recent Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager: Four Leaf Clover cruise and brought a special gift with him.

As seen below, Lambert presented Jericho with his first Intercontinental belt. The smile on Jericho’s face as he hoists the gold over his head once again shows how much the gesture means to him.

Chris Jericho Named One of the Top 50 Heavy Metal Singers of All Time

Chris Jericho has yet another impressive accolade to his name after being listed one of the 50 greatest heavy metal singers of all time.

When not in the ring competing for All Elite Wrestling, Jericho can be found performing with his band Fozzy, who he founded in 1999.

The band’s track ‘Enemy’ was used for the WWE No Way Out 2005 Pay-Per-View, while Jericho has used ‘Judas’ as his theme in AEW.

Making the List

Jericho’s musical talents may have been overshadowed by his impressive wrestling career, but he has made it into the Top 50 heavy metal singles.

In a ranking from ‘ThisDayInMetal.com’ Jericho squeaks in at the #50 spot, with the following description:

Who? Yes, that’s right, before you say Jericho can’t sing I suggest you go listen to his version of Iron Maiden’s Aces High. Right Sebastian Bach?

Other notable names on the list include KISS’ Paul Stanley (#40,) Alice Cooper (#22,) and WWE Celebrity Wing Hall of Famer Lemmy Kilmister (#12.)

The ranking sees Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden take bronze, Rob Halford of Judas Priest ranked second, and former Black Sabbath member Ronnie James Dio take first place.

Fozzy

Originally christened ‘Fozzy Osbourne’ Jericho’s band would begin when Rich ‘The Duke’ Ward had a chance encounter with the AEW star at a wrestling show in 1999.

It would be a year later that the band’s name was shortened, and the group would release their first of eight albums with ‘Fozzy’ in 2000.

So far, the only track to be certified gold is Judas, and the song’s sales were likely helped by Jericho’s use of the theme in AEW.

Chris Jericho Explains What Would Make Him Retire From Wrestling

Chris Jericho has been in the wrestling business for 30 years, where he found success in ECW, WCW, WWE, and now AEW.

Throughout his career, he has reinvented himself at various times. Once he went to NJPW for a one-off match with Kenny Omega in 2018, it opened up his mind to what could be outside of the WWE bubble, eventually leading to him going to AEW when the promotion launched in 2019.

Jericho became the inaugural AEW World Champion at All Out in August 2019 when he beat Hangman Page.

Retirement

While speaking on the WTF with Marc Maron Podcast, the top AEW star discussed what would cause him to quit the business.

“People say, ‘Well, how much longer are you going to do this?’ I could end tomorrow. I could end five years from now, or who cares? Sting is 63 and still doing great stuff. So who knows, man? To me, as long as you can still compete at a high level — like I have a high standard for myself. If I went out there and two, three, four times in a row I felt like, ‘Oof, I’m starting to f*cking phone this in,’ I would quit.”

On this week’s AEW Dynamite, Jericho teams with Sammy Guevara to face the duo of Action Andretti and Ricky Starks.
