Could CJ Perry and Miro reunite, potentially in WWE? The Ravishing Russian has teased that fans shouldn’t count the idea out just yet. On X, Perry suggested that Miro could rekindle his feud with WWE’s Andrade and that the Bulgarian would need her help to win.
Thank God. One man is the Super Athlete & the other man is a flying cruiser weight who hits harder then a heavy weight ! I can’t wait to see them fight again. Who do you think will win this time if I don’t help @ToBeMiro to win again my former ex client @AndradeElIdolo. https://t.co/1a4iHqSUTE
Perry’s post comes after Miro was released from AEW, an exit he reportedly requested in 2024 but was denied at the time. Andrade parted ways with AEW in early 2024 and would waste no time in returning to WWE as part of that year’s Men’s Royal Rumble match. Perry confirmed her exit from AEW in July 2024 though has yet to appear for another promotion.
In March 2024, it was revealed that Perry and Miro had separated, ending their marriage that had began in 2016. Her comments this week are not the first time she has teased reuniting with Miro on-screen, leaving fans wondering if the pair could soon be back together as a couple. In the comments, one fan questioned if the couple are “trying to repair things” while another asked Perry “Girl are you back together?”
With Miro only recently leaving AEW, its too early to say what’s next for the Bulgarian, who wrestled just seven times in his final two years under Tony Khan. Whatever comes, fans can expect Perry to take an interest in the actions of Miro and Andrade, leaving fans curious to see what’s to come.
Former WWE and AEW star CJ Perry, known for her time in WWE as Lana, is recovering from successful surgery in New York City. Perry, who has been absent from professional wrestling since her release from AEW in July 2024, shared the news with fans via social media.
In a Twitter video posted just before the procedure, Perry asked for prayers and expressed gratitude to her medical team. “Hey guys, I’m going into surgery right now, please say your prayers for me,” she said, tagging Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and thanking Dr. Chan in the caption.
Hours later, Perry followed up with another post confirming the surgery’s success. She shared a photo from her hospital bed, writing, “Made it out of surgery. Thank you all,” while thanking fans for their support.
This marks the second significant health issue Perry has faced in recent years. In early 2024, she battled a severe MRSA infection that began in her finger and spread to her arm. The life-threatening condition required surgery and intravenous antibiotics after oral treatments proved ineffective.
While Perry has hinted at a potential return to WWE, her focus for now appears to be on recovery. Fans and colleagues alike have expressed their support and well wishes as she recovers from her latest procedure.
SEScoops wishes CJ Perry a full and speedy recovery!

Former WWE star CJ Perry, also known as Lana, recently addressed rumors about a potential relationship with WWE Superstar Damian Priest. The speculation began circulating on social media a few months ago, sparking widespread interest among wrestling fans. Perry took the time to set the record straight, clearing the air about her personal life.
The dating rumors between CJ Perry and Damian Priest started gaining traction after fans noticed their interactions on social media. Some fans speculated that there might be more to their online exchanges than meets the eye. However, Perry has now dismissed these claims, stating that their relationship is purely professional.
In a recent video posted to her Instagram stories, Perry explained that while she and Priest share a strong professional bond, there is no romantic involvement between them.
“Damian and I are friends,” she clarified. “We’ve worked together, and I have immense respect for him as a performer.”
CJ Perry denies she’s dating WWE Superstar Damian Priest
As for Damian Priest, the WWE Superstar has yet to comment on the rumors or Perry’s statements. Priest generally keeps a low profile regarding his personal life.
This clarification from CJ Perry seemingly puts an end to the dating rumors, allowing both her and Damian Priest to focus on their respective careers without unnecessary distractions.
Earlier this year, CJ Perry confirmed that her time with AEW had come to an end after debuting for the promotion in late 2023. Perry has yet to resurface in the world of professional wrestling, but a social media post this week has sparked speculation of a reunion with herself and Miro.
Dressed as Tiffany from the Child’s Play series, Perry shared an Instagram video of herself attempting to ‘resurrect’ Rusev, the character Miro played for years as part of WWE. Perry also spoke in a Russian accent, a nod to her own WWE tenure as Lana, and asked fans if they wanted to see Rusev and Lana back together on TV.
This video is certainly an interesting one from Perry, who separated from Miro earlier this year. The couple tied the knot in 2016 and in the video, Perry referred to the Bulgarian as her ex-husband. Miro has been a part of AEW since 2020 though is seldom used, with just seven matches over the past two years and none in 2024.
Rusev and Lana proved to be a popular duo in WWE, with support for ‘Rusev Day’ earning the Bulgarian a WWE Championship match at Extreme Rules 2018. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest from both Perry and Miro in the world of professional wrestling.
It’s been years since CJ Perry worked as Lana in WWE, but the ex-Superstar revived the ‘Ravishing Russian’ for a recent video about Liv Morgan. On the July 22, episode of RAW, Liv Morgan’s efforts to win over Dominik Mysterio proved futile as ‘Dirty Dom’ officially got back together with Rhea Ripley. On Twitter, Perry shared her support for Morgan and often slipped into the Russian accent she often used during her time with WWE. Dressed in a Liv Morgan, Perry said that “Mother Russia” is going to win and encouraged fans to purchase Liv’s merchandise.
Perry’s revival of Lana comes mere weeks after she was removed from AEW’s roster and told USA Today that she was “gone” from the All-Elite promotion. Perry was reportedly part of cuts to AEW’s roster made in April but her removal from the roster website was only made recently.
In the past, Perry has suggested that a WWE return could happen, telling In The Kliq podcast last month that “I’m open to everything.” On the same podcast, Perry described WWE CCO Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque and Stephanie McMahon as geniuses and reiterated that “I’m always open to go back to WWE and tell compelling stories.”
CJ Perry & Liv Morgan
In late 2019, Liv returned to WWE programming and revealed that she was in love with Lana, suggesting that the pair had been in a relationship. This revelation came about during Lana’s on-screen wedding to Bobby Lashley, though the story between Liv and Lana was quickly dropped.
Outside of the ring, Morgan and Perry are close friends and can regularly be spotted hanging out on their respective social media accounts. Liv was recently invited to Perry’s birthday celebration and used some WWE-learned skills when a small fire broke out in Perry’s home.
CJ Perry is all done with All Elite Wrestling. The former Lana in WWE had a (very small) cup of coffee in AEW and her time with the company is already over. Speaking with USA Today at the 2024 ESPY Awards, Perry was direct and to-the-point regarding her status.
“[My] time with them has just finished.”
She was quietly released in April 2024, according to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful. Perry first appeared in AEW as Miro’s wife, but the former WWE power couple announced their separation shortly afterward.
During her time in WWE, Lana was popular as the heel valet to Miro’s Rusev, but creative changes drastically altered the course for both stars. Lana later took on a role similar to Maxxine Dupri’s current portrayal as a valet turned wrestler.
Before joining AEW, Perry was vocal about the company’s misuse of her husband, Miro. AEW arguably mishandled the debut of “The Bulgarian Brute,” presenting him as an affable babyface rather than capitalizing on his “monster heel” persona.
Both Perry and Miro have been absent from AEW programming for months. Miro has shared on social media that he has been back in his home country of Bulgaria. While Perry was still with AEW, photos surfaced of her attending several events with the current AEW World Champion, Swerve Strickland.
Perry joins several former WWE women now under the AEW banner, including Saraya, Ruby Soho, Mercedes Mone, and Toni Storm. Among these, Saraya and Storm are arguably the company’s top two women’s acts, though Saraya has been miscast. Soho has also faced challenges, though she is currently away from programming due to her pregnancy.
CJ Perry’s time as part of All Elite Wrestling has come to an end with the manager being pulled from the company’s official roster.
Speaking to USA TODAY Sports at the 2024 ESPY Awards, Perry said her “time with them has just finished.” Perry made her AEW debut at All Out 2023, coming to the aid of her then-husband Miro. Perry hasn’t appeared at all for AEW in 2024 and now her time with the company is up.
Removed From The AEW Roster
AEW’s roster website no longer has Perry in any of its various categories, confirming her exit from the company. Miro, who similarly has not appeared in any capacity for AEW in 2024, still has his profile on the website.
CJ Perry As A Manager
Unlike her WWE run as Lana, Perry never competed for AEW and instead worked solely as a manager. In the interview, Perry said she’s now eligible to join any wrestling promotion and hopes to continue being a manager.
“I’m really focused on finding talent and cultivating them and helping them become the best wrestler, champion possible. I guess you could say I want to be the Paul Heyman.”
When asked to compare WWE and AEW, Perry said that AEW is much more sport driven and she appreciates how the company means more high-profile jobs in wrestling. With that said, Perry also had plenty of praise for WWE, calling the company “the greatest franchise in the world.”
On Twitter, Morgan shared that a small fire oven fire broke out at Perry’s recent birthday. Thankfully for the attendees, Morgan knew exactly how to operate a fire extinguisher and put out the blaze.
When @TheCJPerry starts an oven fire & you only know how to use a fire extinguisher & put out the flames because of Extreme Rules 2022
Morgan used a fire extinguisher during her match at Extreme Rules 2022 against Ronda Rousey. The then-SmackDown Women’s Champion caught Rousey by surprise during their Extreme Rules match. Unfortunately for Morgan, Rousey would get the win, kicking off her second reign as WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion.
Liv Morgan & CJ Perry
Perry and Morgan are close friends and during a WWE storyline, were teased to be something more. During the final Raw in 2019, Perry (Lana at the time) was set to marry her on-screen partner Bobby Lashley.
The ceremony was interrupted when Morgan appeared and claimed she and Lana had been in a relationship, professing her love for Lana in the process. Despite online buzz over the segment and intrigue over the inclusion of LGBTQ+ storylines, the angle was quickly shelved.
What’s to Come for Liv Morgan?
With WrestleMania 40 less than two weeks away, Morgan is currently without a match on either night of the show. Some hope to see Morgan added to the Women’s World Championship match, given that she’s been feuding with Becky Lynch and was the last woman to pin Rhea Ripley.
AEW’s CJ Perry has spoke about the impact social media has made on her mental health following her split from fellow All-Elite talent Miro.
TMZ Sports first reported earlier this week that the couple had “broke up once and for all” and that their split had happened in the winter of last year. It was added that the pair had been experiencing an on-and-off relationship for several years.
CJ Perry on Social Media
Taking to Twitter, Perry didn’t address the split directly but spoke about her mental health being severely impacted whenever she is on the platform. Perry added that it’s hardly a surprise that for the most part she tries to keep off of the site.
Every time I go to twitter or @x my mental health is severely impacted. Wild. No wonder I stay off this platform
Perry and Miro, as Lana and Rusev respectively, met in WWE and the Ravishing Russian would serve as a manager. The couple were called up to the main roster in 2014 but had an on-screen split in 2015. That year’s angle, which saw Rusev align with Summer Rae and Lana with Dolph Ziggler, was cut short after Miro and Perry announced their real life engagement.
Miro would be released from WWE in 2020 and debuted for AEW under his real name that same year. Perry’s tenure as Lana ended the following year and she joined AEW in 2023. At AEW Worlds End, Perry turned on Andrade El Idolo following the former NXT Champion’s loss to Miro. While many saw this as a sign of Miro and Perry reuniting as an on-screen duo, it’s unclear what the future holds given their real-life separation.

AEW’s CJ Perry and Miro are moving on from one another.
Earlier today, TMZ Sports reported that CJ Perry (formerly known as Lana) and Miro (formerly known as Rusev) had “broke[n] up once and for all” in the winter of 2023 after several years of an on-and-off relationship. The couple, who officially tied to knot in July 2016, is said to have simply drifted apart.
While the couple has yet to file for divorce, Miro reportedly moved back to his home country of Bulgaria shortly after he and Perry made the decision to break up.
CJ Perry has since confirmed their split to TMZ, stating, “Miro and I have made the difficult decision to separate after many wonderful years together, and have decided to move on as friends, and hopefully onscreen characters somewhere down the road.”
AEW Ventures
In the months following his release from WWE in 2020, Miro inked a contract with All Elite Wrestling, where he became a one-time TNT Champion.
In September 2023, Perry would follow suit as she attempted to save Miro from a post-match attack from Powerhouse Hobbs in her AEW debut, which took place at the All Out pay-per-view. Upon signing with AEW, Perry has reprised her role as an on-screen manager, taking on the likes of Action Andretti and Andrade El Idolo.
Perry’s most recent appearance occurred at AEW Worlds End in December, in which she accompanied Andrade to the ring in his match against Miro. However, in a surprise turn of events, Perry turned on Andrade, subsequently causing him to lose his aforementioned match to Miro.
The wrestling world was out in force for the premiere of Dune: Part Two which stars none other than WWE’s animal Dave Batista.
Dune: Part Two is the sequel to 2021’s Dune. Both films are based on the 1965 novel of the same name from Frank Herbert’s Dune franchise. The films tell the story of Paul Atreides, whose noble family is thrust into war for ‘Spice’ the key to interstellar travel that can be found only on the dangerous sand planet Arrakis.
WWE & AEW at Dune: Part Two
Dune: Part Two sees Batista return as the villainous Glossue Rabban, a psychotic warrior and nephew of primary antagonist Baron Vladimir Harkonnen. On Twitter, Titus O’Neil, a close friend of the Animal, shared a photo from the premiere in New York alongside Batista and MVP.
Had a great time at the @dunemovie premiere in New York. Super proud of my brother @davebautista and the entire Dune cast on a Spectacular Performance all around. Looking forward to more of what’s to come ❤️ @davebautista THANK YOU, LOVE YOU TO THE MOON!!! #DreamChaser indeed 🎁 pic.twitter.com/UYFfcF6yIH
The two Dune films are just some of the massive blockbuster projects that Dave Batista has been attached to. After a series of roles, the former WWE World Champion had his breakout moment in 2014 as part of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. The following year, he would go one-on-one with Daniel Craig’s James Bond as the villainous Mr. Hinx in Spectre. He once again shared the screen with Craig in 2022’s Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery and also starred in the 2023 psychological thriller Knock at the Cabin
AEW star CJ Perry recently provided a new update following her surgery. She revealed how the finger infection occurred.
The Hot and Flexible one was recently scheduled to make an appearance at CMLL representing Andrade El Idolo. However, he was forced to miss the show. She also missed the December 16 edition of AEW Collision.
Fans were worried about her health and over the weekend, Perry took to her social media account and pictures which revealed a finger infection, leading to a visit to the emergency room.
The former WWE star went on to reveal that it required surgery and that she would be admitted to hospital. She revealed that the infection worsened and she even had to stay at the hospital for more than 50 hours.
Fortunately, CJ Perry underwent a successful surgery, and her real-life husband and AEW star Miro took to his Instagram and uploaded a photo of Perry at the hospital and said she’s recovering.
CJ Perry breaks her silence
The former Lana recently shared a positive update on her recovery. In a video clip posted on Instagram, Perry revealed that she got injured by a small splinter while backstage during an AEW show and she also urged the fans to be cautious of them because it can lead to a fatal infection.
“I have been in the hospital since Saturday, fighting a fatal infection that came from getting a small splinter backstage at work this past Wednesday. Please keep me in your prayers. And everyone really take care of any cuts you get. As small as a splinter can turn into a deadly infection. Love all of you guys and thank you to everyone who has reached out,” Perry wrote.
Currently, Perry is serving as the on-screen manager of Andrade El Idolo and they have been involved in a storyline with Miro. We will have to wait and see how that progresses when she returns.
As she recuperates, we at SEScoops wish her a swift recovery.
CJ Perry took her time getting to AEW after her WWE release. Some fans wondered if her debut for Tony Khan’s company would even happen at one point. Now that she is All Elite, it appears she is forced to take a break from action.
CJ Perry’s Infection Problem
Over the weekend, CJ Perry posted pictures on social media, revealing an unexpected health challenge. The photos documented a finger infection, leading to an unplanned visit to the emergency room.
#CMLL Please keep me in your prayers I’m at the ER @vphcares. The infection from my small finger has gone up my arm. I am so sorry I had to miss last night and @AEW tonight. I look forward to debuting in Mexico with @AndradeElIdolo. Good luck @ToBeMiro and my client… pic.twitter.com/UcFAg9WLU2
CJ Perry openly discussed how the health issue affected her professional commitments, causing her to miss the AEW Collision episode on December 16th and the CMLL show on Friday, where Andrade El Idolo was scheduled to perform. The included caption explained the situation, highlighting the severity of the finger infection.
Things Got Worse For CJ Perry
Now, it appears that CJ Perry’s situation got worse. The former Lana updated fans to let them know that she will require surgery to fix her problem.
I have been in the ER and hospital for over 50 hours. The infection has gotten worse, and I’m going into surgery tonight. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I love you all

We’re sending our best to CJ Perry, from everyone here at SE Scoops. This is a trying situation, but hopefully, she is in good hands with medical professionals.
AEW star Andrade El Idolo is making his comeback to CMLL for the first time in many years but he’s not coming alone as his manager CJ Perry is also set to make her debut.
The former Lana made her debut for AEW at September’s All Out pay-per-view. She came out to a thunderous reception from the fans following her husband Miro’s match against Powerhouse Hobbs. This marked her first appearance at a pro wrestling event since she was let go by WWE in late 2021.
On a recent CMLL show at Arena Mexico, a vignette saw Andrade El Idolo in which he announced that he would return home to CMLL. It was only a couple of weeks back that CMLL teased a star would be returning soon and this led to tons of speculation that Idolo might be making a return. Well, he’s not only coming back home but also bringing CJ Perry alongside him.
CJ Perry to make CMLL debut
On CMLL Twitter account, Andrade El Idolo announced that CJ Perry will be making her debut at Arena Mexico on Friday, December 15. Check out the video clip below:
Back in the day, Andrade performed under the name La Sombra and this will mark the Mexican superstar’s first appearance for the promotion in eight years.
Before joining WWE, he lost in a Mask vs. Mask match against Atlantis at CMLL’s 82nd Anniversary show. Notably, he is a former IWGP Intercontinental Champion which he captured during his run with the company as part of an agreement between CMLL and NJPW.
Andrade is also participating in the Continental Classic tournament, where he has acquired 9 points. ‘El Idolo’ is set to face Claudio Castagnoli on AEW Collision this Saturday.
Meanwhile, CJ Perry, who previously performed as Lana in WWE, will be gearing up for her debut in Mexico. You can read why CJ Perry decided to take a break after leaving WWE below:
“The great thing about wrestling is it doesn’t matter what company you work for, what promotion, anything can happen. Let’s be honest, we know that everyone always returns back to WWE at some point.”
“Everyone always returns back to WWE at some point.”
CJ Perry
Speaking about Rusev Day, arguably Miro’s most popular gimmick, Perry said the idea will live on, and reiterated her belief that he will return.
“Rusev Day will never die. It’s always going to be around, the kids are going to want to sing it and I’m sure it will make a return in WWE at some point. Rusev — well, whatever he shows [up] back in; whatever frickin name or gimmick or character he returns [as] at some point, in WWE is going to be iconic.”
Unhappy
Miro held more titles and was more prominently featured in WWE, so it’s hardly surprising that he is reportedly unhappy in AEW.
Earlier this year, Miro liked a tweet suggesting that his AEW run had been a dud so far.
The tweet also suggested that Miro would do much better if he returned to WWE.
CJ Perry’s time with WWE may be over, but the former Lana will always be grateful to Triple H.
After a career in music and acting, Perry signed with WWE in 2013, initially the manager of real-life husband Rusev (now Miro in AEW.)
In 2016, Perry would transition into a wrestling role which would continue until her release in June 2021.
Forever Grateful
Perry has been absent from WWE for over a year, but has kept a close eye on the product in this time.
In July, Triple H was appointed WWE’s Head of Creative, replacing his father-in-law Vince McMahon after the latter’s retirement.
During a recent interview with Fightful, the former Total Divas star praised The Game as a genius for his work behind the scenes.
“Triple H is a genius. He hired me. He was at my tryouts in the beginning of 2013. He paired me with Miro. He guided me so much in the approach of creating, essentially, the character of the Ravishing Russian with the suit, the hair.
“He was really hands-on with that, very hands-on with Miro and I. So I will always be grateful for that because people still talk about the tank, still talk about the Ravishing Russian and her accent and her look. So I’m forever grateful for that.”
Miro and Perry would be split on-screen in 2015 but reunited later that same year after TMZ broke the news of the couple’s real-life engagement.
What’s Next?
Perry hasn’t competed since her WWE exit last year, which was said to have been partly due to her high-dollar contract.
Speaking last month, the Ravishing Russian told Busted Open Radio that she would “love” to go to AEW, as it is where the “hardcore” fans are.
Perry added that she misses seeing close friends who now call AEW home, including Saraya, Renee Paquette and Dustin Rhodes.
CJ Perry has insinuated that Miro not being a ‘favorite’ of AEW President Tony Khan has resulted in the Bulgarian not getting regular TV time.
Miro, formerly Rusev in WWE, joined AEW in September 2020 and is a former TNT Champion.
Over the past year though, Miro’s TV time has greatly diminished and he has been the victim of lengthy absences from programming.
Playing Favorites
Weeks and months can go by without an appearance from Miro, which his wife is, unsurprisingly, not a fan of.
During an appearance on Busted Open Radio on Tuesday, Perry was asked about her husband’s stop-start booking in AEW (via F4W Online.)
“Tony Khan has his favorites and he’s going to push the favorites just like Vince [McMahon] would push his favorites, just like Hunter is going to push his people. It’s show business.”
CJ Perry on her husband’s AEW booking.
Miro himself has teased being unhappy in AEW, liking a tweet that suggested he would do better back in WWE.
The Bulgarian worked for WWE from 2010 to 2020 and held the United States Championship three times.
Miro has wrestled just one match in the past four months for AEW, competing at All Out 2022 where he teamed with Sting and Darby Allin to defeat the House of Black.
Unhappy
Miro doesn’t wrestle in AEW nearly as much as he did in WWE, but the former Superstar still has big dreams.
When asked whether her husband is enjoying his time working for Tony Khan, Perry responded:
“I mean, he wants to be champion so he’s not going to be happy until he’s champion. I’m just going to leave it at that.”
CJ Perry.
There have been rumors that AEW could sign Perry to a contract, presumably as the on-screen manager for her husband.
CJ Perry was not punished by WWE for her husband Miro joining All Elite Wrestling, despite what some have claimed.
In 2020, months after his April 15, release, Miro joined AEW where he is a one-time TNT Champion.
Perry herself was released from WWE in June 2021, with her high-dollar contract reportedly a factor in WWE’s decision.
Not Punished
Not long after Miro’s AEW debut, Perry (known as Lana in WWE) was involved in a storyline that saw her put through tables each week.
Some speculated that WWE’s storyline was a form of punishment for Perry, who denied the claim in a talk with Fightful Select.
Not only was this not a punishment, Perry made it clear that she pitched for the angle to happen, adding that she had to fight Liv Morgan for the ‘honor.’
Perry explained how the tables spot was supposed to get Nia Jax over as a babyface, as Lana was a heel at the time.
Ultimately, fans would ultimately side with Perry for her resilience each week, culminating in a babyface turn.
Miro and AEW
Perry hasn’t appeared for All Elite Wrestling, but Miro has made references to his “hot wife” multiple times.
Speaking about the Bulgarian wrestler, Perry said that Miro never gives her a heads-up before referencing her on TV.
Addressing possibly joining AEW, the former Total Divas star said that there have not been “extended talks” with the company, but is open to a role.
Perry said that even though she loved wrestling, she would prefer to focus on outside-the-ring roles such as a manager or valet.

Perry toldThe Man Cave Chronicles with Eliasthat “not only (does) every room have cameras, but also the bathroom has sound. So, you’re kind of losing your mind. You’re like ‘can I just have five seconds to myself?’ Besides that, you also have cameras following you around.”
“You’re putting eight different people into a house with no doors and of course, a lot of things are bound to happen. And also for people with very different backgrounds, different cultures, different races, different religions, different career paths. I made friends, I laughed, I cried, I had several panic attacks on there.”
Although she can’t spill the tea, Perry said that she developed a competitive rivalry with Manny, Braxton, and Muniz with their daily activations. “They were kind of challenging, so we all developed a really competitive bond.” Perry also lets viewers know “there was some drama with Dennis Rodman that you’ll see.”
The Surreal Life airs Monday, October 24 at 9 PM ET.

Former WWE star Lana (real name CJ Perry) has offered her thoughts on the current situation surrounding Vince McMahon and his retirement.
During a recent interview with Liam Alexander-Stewart of ITRWrestling.com, Perry was asked for her thoughts on the situation with McMahon. While Perry said she had a great relationship with McMahon, that doesn’t mean everyone else has.
“Oh, gosh, it’s I feel like such a controversial issue right now and it’s really unfortunate everything, to be honest.
“I’m a big believer that we should bring things into the light and even though I had amazing relationship with Vince, and he was very kind to me and taught me so many things that I’m going to take with me for the rest of my life, It doesn’t mean that other people didn’t have a very different experience.”
“I… in general, not with people in WWE, but in general, but being a victim of sexual harassment and being a victim of people trying to pull favors from you that I really just don’t ever really talk about, and maybe one day will be more comfortable with talking about at a bigger on a bigger level.
“But, you know, I have compassion and empathy for those women, and I think it does need to be handled properly, however it is.”
Lana
McMahon was forced to step down as WWE CEO after several allegations of sexual misconduct came against him. This left his daughter, Stephanie McMahon, and Nick Khan to step up as co-CEOs.
Shortly thereafter, McMahon decided to retire as head of WWE creative. This was shortly after reports surfaced that several investigations into McMahon’s misconduct were now underway.
His son-in-law, Triple H, has now been named the new head of WWE creative. There have already been several changes made to how WWE operates under the new regime change – positively received for the most part.
When Rusev lost the WWE United States Championship (and his undefeated streak) to John Cena at WrestleMania 31 in 2015, the Bulgarian didn’t take it well.
After failing to regain the title, Rusev would blame his manager Lana, played by his then-girlfriend and future-wife CJ Perry.
What followed was a love triangle over the Summer, in which Rusev aligned with Summer Rae, while Lana had an on-screen romantic relationship with Dolph Ziggler.

On the May 18, 2015 Monday Night Raw, Lana confirmed her relationship with Ziggler, kissing the two-time former World Heavyweight Champion.
Speaking to Renee Paquette on ‘The Sessions,’ Perry recalled rehearsal for the angle, and having to practice kissing in front of the then-WWE CEO (via Wrestling News.)
“It’s Ace [John Laurinaitis] Vince [McMahon, Dolph, and Miro. We had to practice the kiss and Miro is turning red in the corner. Vince is like, ‘What? We’re all adults. What’s the problem? We’re all adults. It’s professionalism. Don’t be weird.’ So we do it, and Vince goes, ‘No, no, no, no, way slower.’ He doesn’t fully kiss Johnny Ace, but he gets like this close. I mean, it was hilarious. Dolph is dying.”

CJ Perry on Vince McMahon’s attempts to teach her how to kiss Dolph Ziggler
Perry added that when she recently rewatched the kiss with a friend, it was noticed how slow she and Ziggler kiss.
She adds that McMahon “wanted it to be innocent,” as if she had never kissed a man before.
Former WWE talent Adam Scherr (Braun Strowman) and former UFC fighter Alistair Overeem will collide at Wrestling Entertainment Series.
On May. 13, former WWE tag team Legion of Pain (Authors of Pain) announced that their wrestling promotion WES would have an event on June 4 on FITE TV at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham, England.
Legion of Pain shared that they would be making their in-ring return for their first event. However, they didn’t share who else would be on the card.
The WES website has now revealed all of the matches that will take place on the card, including the main event between Scherr and Overeem for the World Championship.
This marks the first wrestling match for Overeem, who has been open about not liking what he’s seen from professional wrestling like WWE.
Another match on the card is former WWE talents Lina Fanene (Nia Jax) vs. CJ Perry (Lana) for the Women’s Championship.

Overeem on WWE and Professional Wrestling Today
Overeem spoke publicly on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani about his thoughts on wrestling, mainly WWE, last year. He shared that he grew up watching WWE and liked Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior but stopped watching as he got older.
“I watched it when I was 19 years old. Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, huge fans of those guys. Honky Tonk Man, great, funny,” said Overeem. He continued, “…I stopped watching after that, so I’m not watching since 92, 93, 94 and just recently I started looking again on Youtube, and oh my god this stuff is lame.
“It’s just lame with all these guys are doing, it’s fake, it’s lame, it’s stupid.” Overeem said something after “it’s stupid,” but it was edited out.
During the live interview, Overeem did indeed label pro wrestling as “gay.” Helwani told Overeem to not say that, which the former UFC fighter said why and continued to share that he thought what he has seen recently of wrestling from WWE content is lame.
When asked by Helwani if he thinks professional wrestlers are athletes, he expressed again that it is lame. It’s unclear if Overeem has watched any wrestling outside of WWE or if he changed his stance on wrestling today.
Miro loves to mention both his God and his hot and flexible wife in his promos these days. According to comments his wife CJ Perry (FKA Lana) made during a Highspots live signing, Miro didn’t want his wife creating an OnlyFans account.
“I stay open to all forms of entertainment except for OnlyFans because my husband doesn’t allow me,” Perry said during the signing. “Every time he’ll be like, ‘Do what you want!’ I’m like, I guess that means don’t do it.”
The former Lana continued to say that she has suggested Miro could be involved in the account. This was not something the former TNT Champion was interested in, however.
“I was trying to get Miro to do OnlyFans and [shakes head no]. Really? I feel like you just have to find your group of people. But there might be a ton of people that might want to see Miro’s naked body. Or not even naked, just those jacked thighs. But also he loves himself so much. I wasn’t going to do totally nude, anyways. With him, it’s just the idea and just the name, even. I’m like, ‘I wouldn’t be naked, it could be just your feet.’”
Finally, Perry continued to say that Miro loves to flex and do other things in front of the mirror frequently. The “helicopter” was even mentioned.
“Also, with Miro, the thing is he loves himself. Truly, I love my husband. I adore him, but I really think that no one — like when Miro looks in the mirror, no one loves himself more than he does. It’s also so entertaining that I walk into a room and he’s like standing in front of the mirror flexing and doing the helicopter naked.”
Miro has yet to wrestle since dropping the TNT title to Sammy Guevara. He returned to AEW programming recently and cut a promo indicating he is looking to regain his championship.
Miro’s TNT title reign lasted for a total of 140 days. That ranks 2nd all-time behind Darby Allin’s 186-day reign with the belt. Miro also defended the title 8 times before dropping it to Guevara. He had successful title defences against Dante Martin, Lance Archer, Evil Uno, Brian Pillman Jr., Lee Johnson, Fuego Del Sol 2x, and Eddie Kingston.
