Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley Set For WWE Crown Jewel

Brock Lesnar attacked Bobby Lashley last week on RAW before his United States Championship defense against Seth Rollins.

Lesnar hit The All Mighty with a couple of F5s and Seth Rollins capitalized on a weakened Lashley to win the US Title.

Following the match, Bobby Lashley challenged Brock Lesnar to meet him face-to-face in the ring tonight on RAW. Tonight’s edition of the red brand kicked off with the two meeting in the ring and quickly brawling to the outside.

Brock went for an F5 but Lashley escaped and shoved The Beast into the ring post. Lashley followed it up with a Spear that sent Brock crashing through the barricade. WWE security tried to break it up but Lashley escaped and tackled Brock over the announce table to end the segment.

Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar Announced For WWE Crown Jewel

WWE’s official Twitter account just announced that Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar will battle at Crown Jewel on November 5th. The two beasts battled at the Royal Rumble with the WWE Championship on the line. Bobby emerged victorious after Roman Reigns interfered and attacked Lesnar.

BREAKING NEWS: Legends will rise at #WWECrownJewel when @BrockLesnar goes one-on-one with@fightbobby!

Brock Lesnar versus Bobby Lashley isn’t the only big match set for WWE Crown Jewel. It was announced tonight on RAW that The OC will battle The Judgment Day in a 6-man tag team match.

Roman Reigns is set to put the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on the line against Logan Paul. The popular YouTuber and The Tribal Chief held a press conference to promote the event and you can check that out below.

Reason For WWE Booking Roman Reigns vs. Logan Paul (Report)

We now have the reported reason for WWE deciding to book Roman Reigns vs. Logan Paul at Crown Jewel.

As we’ve noted, Roman Reigns vs. Logan Paul for the Undisputed WWE Championship will headline the Crown Jewel pay-per-view (PPV) on November 5. It’s a matchup that has a lot of professional wrestling fans scratching their heads booking-wise.

While Paul has been impressive in his short time inside the squared circle thus far, a matchup for the most prestigious title in the history of professional wrestling, against, arguably, the industry’s biggest star, is quite a jump up for his third-ever match.

However, it appears WWE has a specific reason for booking the matchup. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio reports that Logan Paul is actually a big deal in Saudi Arabia, especially to the prince, and that’s all that matters in that regard.

Collage Maker 16 Sep 2022 03.45 PM

Ticket sales for the Saudi shows don’t really mean anything, neither do TV ratings in regards to the shows out of Saudi Arabia. Paul bringing in younger views would, of course, be seen as a bonus.

However, the Saudi prince wants to build the name of celebrity fights in Saudi Arabia, and believes Logan Paul will help generate more press than a Kevin Owens or Seth Rollins.

The Saudi shows are essentially used to give the prince the shows he wants and that he thinks will generate the best press for Saudi Arabia, and Logan Paul vs. Roman Reigns fits that criteria perfectly.

Jake Paul Teasing Crown Jewel Appearance For Logan Paul vs. Roman Reigns

Logan Paul will be attempting to do the impossible at Crown Jewel when he challenges Roman Reigns for the Unified WWE Universal Championship.

One big problem the YouTube star will have to overcome if he wants to win the title is The Bloodline. Now it appears that he might not have to do it alone.

Logan’s brother Jake Paul recently replied to the announcement of this Crown Jewel match, and he noted that he might have to go to Saudi Arabia for this bout:

“Logan is the definition of anything is possible. 2 matches in WWE and he’s challenging for the belt. I might have to come to Saudi Arabia for this.”

Apart from being a celebrity, Jake Paul is also a boxer. He has defeated opponents such as retired MMA star Ben Askren and former UFC champion Tyron Woodley.

There is no doubt that the rest of the Bloodline will accompany Roman Reigns for his match against Logan Paul at the Saudi show.

With Jake’s boxing background, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he ends up joining the action to help even the odds and help his brother win the biggest prize in sports entertainment.

How do you feel about Logan Paul getting a shot at the undisputed title and his brother being at his side? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.

Internal WWE Reaction To Crown Jewel, Next Saudi Event

WWE Crown Jewel has received a generally positive review from fans. It appears that the people in the company are pleased with how things went as well.

PWinsider has provided some news from the show, noting that people within the promotion were ‘thrilled’ with the PPV. The feeling was that it was one of the better major shows they have produced over the last year.

The talents had more freedom to explore their surroundings at Crown Jewel this time around. They had a bowling alley and a movie theatre at their disposal.

While Titus O’Neil and Natalya were not on the card for the PPV, they were still brought in for community outreach events. Adam Peace and Chris Parks aka Abyss, were also there working as producers for the show.

One name who surprisingly wasn’t in the arena for Crown Jewel was The Undertaker. It appears he was in Saudi Arabia only for his appearance at the Pitbull concert.

Tarek Hamdi who made a surprise appearance during the show helping Mansoor was said to have fallen in love with the entire process and showmanship of WWE.

There are some who believe that the 2020 Olympic silver medallist will be getting a look by the officials when he is done with competing in karate.

Finally, the word going around the show was that WWE will return to Saudi Arabia for their next show in the first quarter of 2022. Though no official date has been determined for that yet.

WWE Superstars React To Crown Jewel 2021

WWE presented an impressive show in Crown Jewel and the event gave fans a lot to talk about. WWE stars have also been reacting to the outcome of various matches and the show overall throughout the day.

Chief brand officer Stephanie McMahon was the first to react to the women’s matches. She posted photos of the triple threat match for the SmackDown women’s championship and the Queen’s Crown final.

McMahon sent out a statement saying that the women of WWE never disappoint and she is proud of the example set by the female competitors:

One of the most appreciated moments of the night was Xavier Woods realizing his long-lasting dream and finally winning The King Of The Ring tournament.

Both of his New Day partners took on their Twitter to react to this achievement of their friend. Kofi Kingston posted a video of his reaction to the KOTR finals while Big E simply posted a GIF:

A surprising name that was seen on the show was Jessika Carr. The WWE star made history by becoming the first female referee to officiate a wrestling match in the country during Crown Jewel. She said that she was blown away by the oppertunity.

Apart from this, people such as Natalya, Mustafa Ali, Sasha Banks, and many more took on their social media to react to the PPV. You can check out all the reactions below:

New Crown Jewel Match Announced On The Bump

The Usos vs. Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander has been announced for the kick-off pre-show of the upcoming Crown Jewel PPV from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The match was first announced by Kayla Braxton on the latest episode of The Bump. The news has since been confirmed by WWE on their official website.

As of this writing, the Usos are not scheduled to defend their SmackDown tag titles against The Hurt Business at Crown Jewel. The company is only promoting this match as a classic showdown between the two teams.

The Usos have long been associated with Roman Reigns. They have formed the bloodline faction with Reigns after his heel turn.

Benjamin and Alexander, on the other hand, reunited with Bobby Lashley during a recent Raw episode after their break-up earlier this year. Though they haven’t been seen with the All-Mighty all that much in the last couple weeks.

With this latest announcement and the confirmation of the King Of The Ring and Queen’s Crown finals, the match card for the upcoming PPV seems to be complete.

The fifth WWE Saudi Arabian show will take place on Thursday, October 21. The PPV event will start at 12 pm EST. Check out the worldwide start time & updated match card for Crown Jewel 2021.

WWE With Long Travel Week Ahead Due To Saudi Arabia Show

After tonight’s episode of RAW from Sacramento, WWE staff and talent will charter a flight to Saudi Arabia for Thursday’s Crown Jewel event. The flight takes about 20 hours in total when flown commercially.

Everyone traveling will have to pass a COVID-19 PCR test before boarding, according to PWInsider, and it is believed that everyone will need to be vaccinated as well, although that is not confirmed.

Following Crown Jewel, WWE staff and talent will then board a flight to Wichita, Kansas for Smackdown. When flown commercially, that flight time is approximately 18 hours. Provided there are no delays this time around, they should arrive in time for Smackdown on Friday.

2019 Crown Jewel Show Led To Travel Delays

There is a lot of controversy regarding what happened following the 2019 Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia. A long delay prevented WWE talent from flying out of the country. As a result, several Superstars did not make it to that week’s Smackdown event on time. Several wrestlers from NXT had to be brought in for the show. Many advertised matches did not happen as a result of wrestlers being stuck in Saudi Arabia.

The chartered flight company Atlas Air would later release a statement regarding the incident.

“A chartered WWE passenger flight operated by Atlas Air is currently delayed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia due to a mechanical issue. The flight was scheduled to depart at 0300 local time on November 1. Our top priority is always to ensure our passengers arrive safely and on time at their destination. The aircraft is being repaired and will be inspected and certified before returning to service to transport our passengers to their final destination. We regret that operational disruptions delayed the flight and apologize to our passengers who were inconvenienced.”

New Crown Jewel Match Announced After Raw, Updated Card

WWE has confirmed that hometown star Mansoor will be facing Mustafa Ali in a one-on-one match at the upcoming Crown Jewel PPV from Saudi Arabia.

This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw saw these two stars teaming up to face Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander. The Hurt Business members won this bout.

The tension between Mansoor and Ali continued after the fight. This led to Ali attacking his former partner during a backstage interview with Kevin Patrick.

The former Retribution leader was interviewed backstage after the show went off air. He issued a challenge to the Saudi Arabian star for a match. WWE has since confirmed this bout.

News On Upcoming Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar Crown Jewel Match

It seems that the announced Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns Universal Championship match at Crown Jewel won’t be the concluding bout for their rivalry.

Lesnar and Reigns’ program is expected to extend beyond this upcoming match, according to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

“From what we understand, and what makes sense, is this is not a one-and-done program,” said Meltzer. “For one, unless Dwayne Johnson is wrestling Reigns at next year’s WrestleMania, this would appear to be the biggest possible Mania match.”

He added, “So the idea here is to build to a return, whether that means Lesnar wins to build to a rematch or some disputed decision takes place.”

Paul Heyman’s loyalty will be a big part of how this story unfolds. Heyman has guided both men to the top of WWE and we don’t know which side he will take when the time comes.

Lesnar made his surprise return at SummerSlam after more than a year away from WWE programming. He confronted Reigns, who had just beaten John Cena in the main event.

Heyman has been the centerpiece of the storyline between these two. Just last week, Brock Lesnar announced that he had become a free agent thanks to his advocate. WWE has announced that Roman Reigns will have to defend his championship against the Beast at the upcoming Crown Jewel PPV.

It will be interesting to see which man Heyman sides with, when the inevitable choice is presented.

WWE Crown Jewel Updated Match Card: Bobby Lashley Vs. Goldberg Stipulation Match Announced

WWE has announced that Bobby Lashley will be taking on Goldberg in a No Holds Barred match at the upcoming Crown Jewel pay-per-view from Saudi Arabia.

These two heavyweight stars originally collided at the SummerSlam PPV in a WWE championship match in August. The All-Mighty won this match when his opponent was declared unable to compete due to a knee injury.

However, Lashley continued attacking the former WCW star afterward. He attacked Goldberg’s son Gage when he came to check on his father as well. Goldberg had vowed to take revenge over this.

This week’s Raw then saw the former Universal champion challenging Lashley for the bout. Bobby Lashley was the one who suggested the stipulation for the match.

WWE Crown Jewel 2021 Updated Match Card

WWE announced a few other matches for the Crown Jewel PPV alongside Lashley vs. Goldberg during the night. You can check out the updated card for the show below:

Smackdown Women’s Title Match Added To WWE Crown Jewel

WWE Crown Jewel will play host to a big women’s title match.

The promotion announced that a triple threat match between Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, and Sasha Banks will take place at the event on Oct. 21. Lynch is the reigning WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion and her gold will be at stake.

Here’s what WWE said in the announcement:

“Three of the best in the game will vie for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WWE Crown Jewel when Becky Lynch defends her title against both Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks in a Triple Threat Match.”

Lynch vs Banks vs. Belair

Becky Lynch made her surprise return at SummerSlam back in August. She challenged Belair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Belair was initially set to meet Sasha Banks but “The Boss” was removed from the card. Bianca Belair accepted Becky’s challenge, only to get hit with a cheap shot and lose her gold in under 30 seconds.

Becky and Bianca ended up having a rematch at Extreme Rules. The match ended in a No Contest as Banks made her return and attacked both competitors. It all leads to the triple threat title match at Crown Jewel.

Date For Next WWE Saudi Arabia Event Revealed

The next WWE event in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia called Crown Jewel 2021 will be held on Thursday, October 21 from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

According to reports from PWinsider, the decision for the schedule was made last week. There was talk of the event being held in the first Thursday of November as well but the officials ultimately settled for October 21.

The last WWE event in Saudi Arabia was the Super ShowDown PPV in February 2020. It took place from the Mohammed Abdu Arena in Riyadh with the Fiend defending his Universal title against Goldberg in the main event.

The company and the Saudi General Sports Authority had announced a 10-year partnership in 2018. Though they had to halt the deal after the Super ShowDown last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The officials have already started planning the card for the event. Reports suggest that WWE is planning to hold the King Of The Ring and Queen Of The Ring tournaments later this year.

The tournaments are expected to begin on Raw and SmackDown in early October. The finals are being planned for the upcoming event in Saudi Arabia.

There is no word on what other matches are being discussed for the event but we will keep you posted on the plans as more details about the show come to light.

Chris Jericho Calls Crown Jewel Match The Worst He Has Ever Seen

Chris Jericho has seen his fair share of bad matches in his three-decades-long wrestling career but the worst match he has ever seen is fairly new.

The former world champion appeared on Busted Open Radio ahead of the 30-year celebration of his debut on this week’s episode of Dynamite and talked about things like why he decided to join AEW and more.

During the interview, he was asked about the worst match he has ever seen and Jericho claimed that it was the Crown Jewel match between The Brothers Of Destruction and DX:

“The worst match I ever saw, and here’s your clickbait, was Saudi Arabia, Triple H and Shawn Michaels vs. Kane and The Undertaker. It was such a stupid idea in booking, it should have never happened.

It should’ve been Shawn and Hunter vs. Roman and Seth, and Taker and Kane vs… I don’t know; give me two names of guys. Cesaro and Kevin Owens, whatever you want.” said Chris Jericho, “That’s exciting.””But it’s like, ‘Oh we’ll just go out there and wing it brother,’ that doesn’t work anymore. That old school mentality doesn’t work.”

The match Chris Jericho is talking about took place in Saudi Arabia during the Crown Jewel 2018 event. The PPV saw Shawn Michaels coming out of retirement for one more match.

The whole event had been controversial in the wake of the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. The match was also criticised by the fans for its poor execution, which was largerly attributed to the old age of the participants.

Former WWE Wrestler A Confidential Witness In Lawsuit Against Company

A former WWE Superstar is now a confidential witness in a lawsuit against the company. WWE is being sued by stockholders who feel the company has misrepresented the nature of its dealings in Saudi Arabia. In documents relating to the case, a former WWE wrestler who was in Saudi Arabia last year for Crown Jewel, speaks about what happened that caused members of the WWE roster to be unable to fly out. Several wrestlers missed that week’s Smackdown as a result.

“A former WWE wrestler, who performed for the Company from 2012 to April 2020 and who participated in the October 31st, 2019 Crown Jewel event, confirms the substance of media reports,” reads documents relating to the suit.

“CW-2 (the former WWE wrestler) explained that he spoke with a stewardess on the flight about the delay, who told him ‘it seems someone doesn’t want us to leave the country.’ CW-2 further explained that the pilot sounded ‘distressed’ when he informed the passengers the flight was unable to take off.”

The report continued to mention that the witness feels they weren’t being allowed to leave the country due to an argument between the Crown Prince and Vince McMahon over late payments.

“CW-2 explained that he asked the Senior Director of Talent Relations, Mark Carrano, about what was going on and that Carrano told him that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and McMahon had gotten into an argument over late payments in connection with the June 7, 2019 Super ShowDown event.”

Middle East Broadcasting Center Employee Also Confidential Witness

The documents also include statements from an employee of the Middle East Broadcasting Center (MBC). These statements confirm that the Saudi government-controlled network and WWE encountered issues coming to terms on a licensing deal.

“WWE then reduced its licensing fee ask to $50 million. However, MBC felt it could not go above $14.5 million. CW-1 (the MBC employee) was later informed that MBC and WWE concluded their negotiations due to the differences in ‘numbers.'”

Ric Flair Reveals Vince McMahon Nixed Spot At Crown Jewel

WWE teased a physical confrontation between Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan before October’s Crown Jewel pay-per-view. The angle never took place, presumably because WWE wanted to play it safe as it relates to the health of the two legends.

However, during a recent interview with WrestlingInc, Ric Flair revealed that he was in fact cleared for physical activity at the event, but the angle was nixed.

The 16 Time World Champion claimed that it was Vince McMahon who nixed the angle and explained that sometimes if you are not physically involved, you feel like you are not giving everything you have:

“I got cleared medically to do something in Saudi and then Vince nixed it,” Ric Flair revealed. “If I would have fed Roman in that huge comeback he made, or tapped Hogan, that would have been the coup de gras.”

You just wanna give them everything they paid for and sometimes if you’re not physically involved, you feel like you’re not giving everything you had if you’re not physical.”

After this revelation, Ric Flair was asked if getting cleared means that he can actually wrestle a match. Flair said yes, but said his days in the ring are over. Due to his age, and health complications, it would take him a long time to get in ring shape. At this stage, he would be happy to simply take a bump or two.

Saudi Arabian Journalist Discusses WWE’s Travel Issues In The Country

The most recent WWE event that took place in Saudi Arabia, Crown Jewel, and it garnered a lot of unwanted headlines as part of a travel delays controversy.

After the event ended on 31 October, it was reported that the flight which was expected to carry almost 200 WWE personnel, experienced a major delay which WWE attributed to mechanical issues.

WrestlingInc did an interview with a Saudi Arabian journalist Mr. King, who talked about the topic on the WINCLY podcast.

A lot of rumors and speculation filled the internet around the issue. According to initial reports from Dave Meltzer and former WWE commentator Hugo Savinovich, the Prince of Saudi Arabia was allegedly furious that Vince McMahon cancelled the live feed of Crown Jewel as the company was owed up to millions of dollars for previous shows. This lead to the Saudi Crown Prince stopping WWE’s chartered plane from leaving the country in retaliation. The company, however, has denied this in a statement.

Mr. King was asked about the delay in broadcast, and he revealed that the delay did happen and the broadcast was around thirty to forty minutes late.

“I heard about it because when I came home my family told me I was taking photos of something that they weren’t watching on TV. I was taking pictures of something earlier,” said King. There was a delay of maybe 30-40 minutes.”

Mr. King was then asked about the travel issue and he said that while there is no official statement on it, he believes it to be a paperwork problem. “When you take a piece of work for a couple of days and your flight didn’t take you out of the country, it’s a little bit of a problem. There’s a hotel inside the airport and they slept there and took another flight,” he said.

King also said that he thinks that there really was a problem with the plane.
“I think the problem was the plane itself. The team stopped it and said this plane is not safe for you to leave. Thank God they noticed this before they left because it would have been a huge problem if something happened.”

Details On Cain Velasquez Needing Knee Surgery, Crown Jewel Match

During yesterday’s WWE Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia, former UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez made his WWE in-ring debut. He faced off current WWE Champion Brock Lesnar with the title on the line.

The match itself, however, was a short-lived affair, ending in Lesnar submitting Velasquez via kimura in two minutes and three seconds. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE always intended to have their clash be a quick encounter.

The reason behind this decision is due to Velasquez’s knee being in poor condition. It’s believed he requires knee surgery in order to remedy the issues. At the time of writing, there is no indication as to when he might receive the operation, or how long he may be healing for afterwards.

WWE was aware of his knee problems, as well as the possibility of surgery, when they initially signed him. Prior to signing with WWE, Velasquez had been in talks with All Elite Wrestling and New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

Cain Velasquez is signed to a three-year contract, though it is not known whether WWE intended to use him as a regular talent or as more irregular featured Superstar.

He is apparently still scheduled to team with Rey Mysterio in a tag team match against Andrade and Drew McIntyre. This bout is set to take place at a WWE Live Event in Mexico City on Saturday, November 30th.

Update On WWE Talent Stuck In Saudi Arabia After Crown Jewel

Several WWE Superstars and staff have reportedly been having issues returning back to the U.S. following yesterday’s Crown Jewel event. They apparently were told of delays, which grounded their planes.

According to the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer, the flight from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to the location of tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown in Buffalo, New York is approximately 14 hours. At the time initial reports broke out, SmackDown was set to start in 17 hours.

Given the problems they were facing, there has been concern that several SmackDown Superstars wouldn’t be able to make it back in time for the show. If that’s the case, SmackDown would be forced into a rewrite, hours before showtime and have a thin roster to utilize.

Update: WWE Statement On Saudi Fight Delays Impacting SmackDown, Teases Surprises

Meltzer wrote on Twitter, “Some notes since nobody can say anything. WWE had a problem in Saudi Arabia. Talent was not allowed to leave on their flight and most are still there. 20 people, 12 of which were talent, have left but the rest are still there.”

He followed up, adding, “It’s a 14 hour flight, Smackdown starts in 17 hours. The last we heard the rest of the talent wasn’t going to be able to leave for a lot longer than three hours.”

Vince McMahon, WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and Hulk Hogan are already flying back as they had their own flights scheduled. Other Superstars who are still in the States include The Miz, Charlotte Flair and Daniel Bryan.

SmackDown Card 11/01 Buffalo, New York

Please note: this information was correct at time of writing.

  • SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match
The Revival (c) vs The New Day
  • Roman Reigns vs King Corbin
  • Sonya Deville, Mandy Rose and SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley vs Nikki Cross, Dana Brooke and Carmella
  • New WWE Universal Champion’ The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt to appear on MizTV.

Bray Wyatt To Join Miz TV On SmackDown After Universal Title Win

WWE has announced a number of matches and segments for this week’s episode of SmackDown which are expected to take the storylines forward and provide us answers to the questions that have risen after the Crown Jewel PPV.

The first match which has been announced will see The New Day getting a title shot. The trio will face the current SmackDown Tag Team Champions the Revival for their belts after they defeated the champs in eight-man tag team action last week.

The second match will be singles action with former World Champion Roman Reigns and ‘The King’ Baron Corbin squaring off against each other in the aftermath of the Team Hogan vs. Team Flair bout from Crown Jewel.

The third bout will then see Nikki Cross teaming up with Carmella & Dana Brooke to compete against the team of the SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley and her partners Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville

Though probably the most interesting thing announced for the night is a Miz TV segment which will feature the new Universal Champion Bray Wyatt as the special guest and it will be The Fiend’s first appearance after the title win.

Wyatt won the Universal Championship from Seth Rollins during Crown Jewel but he is still part of the SmackDown roster and we’ll have to see if the company addresses this situation during the announced segment.

Tyson Fury On How WWE Opportunity Came About, Talks Training For WWE

Tyson Fury, who is ready to make his WWE debut by facing Braun Strowman in a match at the upcoming Crown Jewel pay-per-view event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Fury discussed how the WWE opportunity came about and how the training for WWE has been in a recent interview.

Fury said that he received a phone call asking if he would like to be work with the WWE, and he agreed to it quickly.

“Very quickly. I got the phone call to say would you like to be involved in a WWE fight, I said yes,” Tyson told Express Sport.

“It was a Wednesday night at 7pm and I was on a plane the next day to LA at 6am in the morning. [My first thought was] do it. I have always wanted to be involved and always wanted to be a fan of it.”

Tyson’s son is a huge fan of WWE so it was a “no brainer” for him to agree to work with the professional wrestling company.

Related: Tyson Fury Reveals The Name Of His Wrestling Finisher

When it comes to training for his WWE debut, Tyson described it as a “lot more demanding”. Tyson reveals that it’s has a more hands-on approach, and is taxing to the body.

After seeing how it’s done, Tyson says he understands how wrestlers are prone to more injury.

“There is a lot more smashes and crashes to the floor. That’s tough and I can see how they can get injured a lot all the time. The surprising thing is the ring is just the same as a boxing ring. People think ‘Oh it’s a padded ring or whatever but it’s really not.”

“It’s definitely tough in there. The ropes are really tight and they really do a lot of damage to you when you get chucked into them.”

Tyson was also asked if he would make an appearance at WrestleMania 36 which is set to take place in Tampa, Florida.

Tyson answered that he might make a surprise appearance at the grand event if he is free from his work in boxing.

Natalya And Lacey Evans React To Announcement Of Crown Jewel Match

WWE surprised everyone yesterday by announcing the first-ever women’s match in Saudi Arabia between Natalya and Lacey Evans for the upcoming Crown Jewel PPV.

The company later posted a couple of videos capturing the individual response of these two female superstars on the announcement of the upcoming historic match.

The first video featuring Lacey Evans was shot right after the press conference and talking about the upcoming bout, the Raw Star said that she can’t believe it’s happening:

“Just honored, honored that I get to be a part of this history-making event, and I’m just… I’m blown away. I’m honestly numb right now. I can’t believe that this is happening, and like I said, I’m just blessed that I get to be here.”

Natalya also made similar comments on the matter and in the interview taken a few hours after the announcement the former Divas Champion said that it’s a life-changing event:

“I don’t even feel like it’s really sunk in. For me, it’s just… it’s life-changing.  I can’t believe that I’m getting to do this and I cannot believe that I’m going to be a part of history. I’m just so excited”

Natalya and Lacey Evans will be making history with their singles match at the upcoming Crown Jewel PPV taking place from King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh this Friday.

First-Ever Women’s Match In Saudi Arabia Set For WWE Crown Jewel

Lacey Evans, Lana, and Natalya were all spotted with the rest of the WWE crew at the airport heading to Saudi Arabia recently and now the reason for their visit to the Middle Eastern country has been revealed.

WWE held a special press conference at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh this Wednesday morning and confirmed that they will be having the first-ever women’s match in the country at their upcoming show.

The company announced that Natalya will be facing Lacey Evans in the first-ever women’s match of the territory at the upcoming Crown Jewel Pay Per View event scheduled to take place this Friday.

This is a surprising announcement from the promotion as there was no news of any such match up being planned for the event and nobody was expecting them to make an announcement like this.

This is not the first time the company has tried to hold a women’s match in Saudi Arabia and they had planned a bout between Natalya and Alexa Bliss for the Super Showdown event back in June.

The officials had even flown in these two to the country ahead of the event but they couldn’t get the approval from the Kingdom for this fight and so they were forced to nix the bout at the last minute.

But now they have finally managed to get the approval from the government officials and the company will be making history with this match.

Now we will have to wait and see which one of these two women come out victorious in this historic bout. You can check out the betting odds for the show at this link.
