WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross recently updated his official Q&A section, answering questions from fans on a variety of topics. Below are some of the highlights:
On Kevin Owens and his push: “I’m not worried about Kevin Owens “push” in the least. He’s too talented to not be successful if he continues to perform as he has. Fans need to display some patience on matters such as this.”
On The Undertaker’s physical status in 2015: “Taker seems to be healthier than he has in a long time. He’s months past his last surgery to repair lingering damage. Plus, he’s a stud.”
On the possibility of a Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens “Iron Man” match at SummerSlam since it’s a four-hour show: “That would be nice but for some reason I don’t think that they will give those two 30 minutes of bell to bell time.”
On getting UFC’s Daniel Cormier on his podcast and why WWE doesn’t run TV at MSG: “Steve Austin interviewed DC today in San Jose so he will be on SCSA’s podcast soon. Good dude is Daniel Cormier. WWE loses money doing TV from MSG even with a sellout. Union costs are killers.”
On what has happened to Damien Sandow and Curtis Axel: “It’s simply how they are cast/booked on an entertainment TV program. Apparently it is thought that this is how both men can best contribute to the WWE.”
On the news that WWE writers once pitched a gay character storyline for Brock Lesnar in 2002 (which was later confirmed by a former WWE writer): “Another ridiculous tale from the IWC. That one is truly absurd.”

Former WWE Superstar Lanny Poffo recently appeared on Under The Mat Radio to discuss his brother, “Macho Man” Randy Savage, being inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame. Below are some highlights of the interview.
On how he got the call for Randy Savage to go into the WWE Hall of Fame: “I kind of knew about for over a year that Randy was going to go in… then when they (WWE) actually officially released that they were going to induct him (Savage) I wasn’t sure if I was going to be the one to induct him. Everybody was saying that Hogan was going to be the one to induct him but I just thought I’d be common sense for it to be me.”
On how his family feels that Randy finally got inducted: “Well I can tell you how I felt, I felt relived because we are not going to punish the fans anymore now the fans are going to have to find something else to be punished about. I feel relived like a big burden has been lifted and I’m glad that the speech was well received.”
On who he loved to work with the most during his time with WWE (WWF then): “I’d have to say as Leaping Lanny I loved to work against Terry Funk and Bob Orton Jr. I would look better losing to those two guys then if I would beat Barry Harowitz. Now I’d say when I was a villain my best match ever was against Hulk Hogan.”
On Damien Sandow: “Talking to the younger talent, they were very receptive to me. I really enjoyed everybody particularly Damien Sandow what a nice person he is. People think he stole my gimmick he did not. I stole my gimmick from many of people, and besides Bobby Heenan never got mad because he was The Brain and then I came and I was the Genius he never raised an issue..!”

Every Hollywood star needs a stunt double at some point (unless your name is The Rock, apparently). But what happens when the stunt double becomes more popular than the main attraction? This is could be the case with the WWE’s Hollywood A-lister, The Miz, and his stunt double, Damien Mizdow.
It seemed like the WWE had big plans last year for Damien Sandow. He had just recently won the Money in the Bank briefcase, was featured prominently on most of the company’s programs, and ultimately represented the future of the company.
Sandow has shined since adopting his new Damien “Mizdow” gimmick.
However, in a move that was nothing more than a cheap attempt to increase ratings, Sandow was forced to unsuccessfully cash in his briefcase last fall against John Cena. Since that night, Sandow has been relegated to comedic duty, where he was squashed nearly every night while putting up with awful gimmicks.
However, despite the awfulness of the gimmicks, Sandow made the most of it and was actually entertaining, much like he has done in his current role with The Miz.
In fact, it’s easy to see that Sandow is now more over than The Miz, evidenced this week on Raw, where the crowd was chanting, “We want Sandow” during The Miz’s contest. As most fans have already figured out, Damien Sandow is too entertaining to be stuck as a midcarder’s sidekick, and he is without a doubt deserving of a push.
The fans have really been eating up Sandow’s shtick of imitating the action going on in the ring, often leading to the former Intellectual Savior of the Masses lying on the floor, seemingly applying a headlock to a ghost.
