Kane Talks Working With Daniel Bryan

WWE legend Kane recently released the book “Mayor Kane: My Life in Wrestling and Politics” last month. He took part in an interview with SI.com to promote the book and discussed his relationship with Daniel Bryan.

“Bryan and I are on such opposite ends of the political spectrum,” said Kane. “But we respect each other as human beings and value each other’s opinions, so we had conversations and learned from each other. I learned a lot from Bryan, even if we didn’t always agree.”

Bryan and Kane famously formed the tag-team “Team Hell No.” The pair were involved in several memorable segments.

“Working with Bryan was probably the most fun I had in my entire wrestling career,” Kane continued. “That was because I was working with Daniel Bryan. I can’t say enough about the guy and his talent. Kane was a very dark, serious character, but Daniel Bryan changed all that. That was such a refreshing change for me.”

Kane also spoke about what fans can expect from his book.

“It’s all about my life, so there is a significant amount of wrestling in the book that will make WWE fans happy,” he said. “It was really fun to write, especially the stories of wrestling and traveling, and there is some really good stuff from my career.”

Bray Wyatt Reacts To Daniel Bryan’s Return At TLC

The TLC PPV saw Bray Wyatt defending his Universal Title against The Miz. After the match, Daniel Bryan made his return to the WWE programming with a new look and he attacked The Fiend.

After the show went off air, Wyatt reacted to the American Dragon’s return and he made the following tweet, claiming that he was excited for Bryan’s return and that no one likes a bully:

Bray Wyatt was scheduled to defend his Universal Championship against the Miz at the TLC PPV, and during the show, he came out as the sweatered version of himself usually seen in the Firefly Fun House segments rather than the Fiend.

Bray ended up defeating the A-Lister, however, he tried to attack the Miz once again with a large mallet after the match was over and this is when Daniel Bryan made his return to the WWE programming.

The former World Champion delivered his finisher to the Universal Champion and he then revealed his new clean shaved look, before continuing his attack.

Wyatt escaped this attack by leaving the ring after the lights turned off and the segment ended with Daniel standing tall in the ring. This was Daniel Bryan’s first appearance since The Fiend pulled him under the ring during a SmackDown segment a few weeks back.

Daniel Bryan Returns At WWE TLC, Attacks Bray Wyatt

As expected, Bray Wyatt was victorious at the final PPV event of the year, TLC

Wyatt beat The Miz at Sunday’s WWE TLC pay-per-view event. In this match, Wyatt portrayed his normal character that is usually shown in the Firefly Funhouse segments instead of his alter ego, The Fiend.

After the match, The Fiend appeared on the screen and Wyatt agreed to bring out the giant mallet. Daniel Bryan, dressed in a hoodie, hit his finisher to Wyatt with a new look as he cut his hair. Bryan was going to hit Wyatt with the mallet but the lights went out and Wyatt was gone.

Wyatt was expected to have a rematch with Bryan at this show after Wyatt beat Brayn in a championship match at the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view event last month.

However, WWE wrote Bryan off of television when Wyatt attacked Bryan. This led to The Miz stepping up to the task of being the next in line to challenge Wyatt for the title as well as get revenge on Wyatt for Bryan.

Miz was originally slated to work with Wyatt at Survivor Series but plans changed with Bryan in that spot instead.

Two weeks ago on SmackDown, Wyatt attacked Miz in a backstage segment and wasn’t dressed up as The Fiend.

Kane Discusses Team Hell No, The Undertaker Believing In Him

WWE Legend Kane has a new autobiography titled Mayor Kane: My Life in Wrestling and Politics. In an interview with Sporting News, Kane discussed his new book and explained how he is currently semi-retired from WWE.

Reflecting on his long career with the promotion, Kane referred to his time working with Daniel Bryan as a part of Team Hell No as the most fun he’s had in wrestling.

“That’s what I would attribute my longevity to, frankly, is the ability to reinvent myself,” he said. “And I think that’s true for anyone who has a long career. They never stay the same character, quite the same character, the whole way through. Speaking about Daniel Bryan, specifically, that was a blast and some of the most fun I had in my entire career because it was an absolute departure from the character that I played earlier.”

He continued, “If you asked people in 1998 and again in 2004 would Kane be comic relief on the show, they would have looked at you like you were crazy. All of that was amazing. I hope that I was able to show people that I wasn’t just somebody who had a mask and didn’t talk all the time. There was some depth and I could do some different things and was hopefully a more well-rounded performer than people probably initially thought that I would be.”

Kane’s long-time on-screen brother, The Undertaker, provided one of the forewords to his autography. He explained how ‘Taker has always been an advocate for him, noting how their first match took place in Smoky Mountain Wrestling in 1995. With their characters so interlinked on-screen, Kane spoke openly about how he would never have had the career he has enjoyed without The Undertaker.

Kofi Kingston Credits Daniel Bryan For Their WrestleMania 35 Match

Former WWE Champion Kofi Kingston recently shared how instrumental Daniel Bryan was in helping him secure his championship opportunity at WrestleMania 35.

Speaking with Corey Graves on WWE’s podcast After The Bell, Kingston revealed how Bryan actively pushed to have Kingston face him for the championship.

“The plans weren’t for me to be at WrestleMania,” Kingston explained. “I’m not sure who it was for Daniel to face, but it wasn’t me, and Daniel went in and went to bat for me and the situation for the title match between us to happen. He had a big part in it too. […] It’s testament to his state of mind as far as advancing the business and doing the right thing for the people and for the match and product.”

He gave credit to Daniel Bryan, believing him to be a generational talent amongst the WWE roster. Kingston reflected on how it meant so much to him given how hot Bryan was at the time, praising his mic, character work and generosity for helping develop their story.

Kingston would eventually lose his hard-won WWE Championship to Brock Lesnar during the premiere episode of SmackDown on FOX. He has since gone on to win the SmackDown Tag Team Championships alongside New Day member Big E.

Daniel Bryan vs. Bray Wyatt Confirmed For WWE Survivor Series

A new match has been announced for the upcoming WWE Survivor Series PPV.

On Friday’s episode of SmackDown on FOX, the company confirmed that Bray Wyatt will make his next title defense as Universal Champion against Daniel Bryan.

This match was expected as Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the match was on the books to take place at the show.

This will mark Bray Wyatt’s first title defense and Bryan’s first opportunity to become the Universal Champion. Bryan lost the WWE Title at WrestleMania 35 earlier this year to Kofi Kingston.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown Results & Live Coverage (11/15)

Wyatt attacked Bryan in an interview segment to start their program last week on SmackDown.

It’s been reported that original plans called for Bryan to be part of the Triple Threat Match with NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong and WWE United States Champion AJ Styles at this show but plans changed.

WWE presents the Survivor Series pay-per-view event on Sunday, November 24, 2019 in Chicago, Illinois at the Allstate Arena that will air on the WWE Network. WWE will be announcing more matches for this show in the coming days.

Details On Planned Title Match At WWE Survivor Series

News on plans for Daniel Bryan and the next challenger for WWE Universal Champion Bray Wyatt has surfaced online.

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that a new match on the card that hasn’t been announced is indeed Wyatt, as The Fiend, defending the Universal Title against Bryan at WWE Survivor Series.

It was noted that the original belief was that Bryan was set for the Triple Threat Match with NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong and WWE United States Champion AJ Styles. The idea would be to have Bryan beat Shinsuke Nakamura for the Intercontinental Title in order to add him to the match.

This is why WWE started to tease a program involving Bryan, Nakamura, and Sami Zayn. Also, The Miz was rumored to challenge Wyatt for the title at Survivor Series, which would line up with advertisements for upcoming WWE house shows including Starrcade, but Bryan has been booked in that spot.

Possible Stipulation For Top Match At WWE TLC

This comes after Wyatt attacked Bryan in an interview segment to start their program last week on SmackDown. It was added that Nakamura at this point is not scheduled to drop the title and has been put into this three-way match.

As of this writing, there’s no word yet on when WWE will announce Bryan vs. Wyatt for the Universal Title at Survivor Series but it’s likely to happen within the next two weeks on SmackDown.

Daniel Bryan Posts Emotional Tribute Following Death Of His Dog Josie

Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella recently lost their dog Josie. Bryan noted to his followers on social media that he recently rushed Josie to an emergency vet but she passed shortly after.

“Our family is devastated. But in this grief, I try to focus on gratitude, because our sweet Josie gave me so much,” Bryan wrote in his tribute to Josie on Instagram.

Bryan noted that Josie’s companionship helped him through some difficult times.

“When I was going through a mental breakdown and no one else could get through to me, Josie held me together. Feeding her, walking her and playing with her gave me purpose, and her nurturing affection started healing my heart.”

Daniel Bryan Comments on the Amazon Rainforest Fires

Bryan also recently issued a comment on the fires burning up the Amazon rainforest in an interview with SuperLuchas:

“As someone who cares about the environment, this whole situation affects me. And it covers more than just the environmental issue, there is also the problem of all the people who live in the Amazon rainforest. They are hundreds of thousands of people, and what they want is to move them to the cities. But that’s not how things work. You know what I mean, they have been living there for longer than anyone can remember, and they want to move them to the cities and expect them to work in factories or something? It is a tragedy, and I hope that it can soon be controlled and that everyone realizes that the Amazon is a central part of the ecosystem.”

Daniel Bryan Releases Statement Regarding Roman Reigns Attacks

Daniel Bryan has released a statement to WWE.com regarding the recent attacks on Roman Reigns. At one point, Bryan had been claiming that a person who looked much like Erick Rowan was to blame for the attacks but now Bryan is pointing the finger at the real Rowan.

Bryan’s statement reads as follows:

“Roman Reigns speared me last week and I understand his frustration. I know how it looks. I know a lot of people don’t like me and I know I seem guilty by association, but that doesn’t make me a liar. Erick Rowan is the one to blame and I have had nothing to do with this. Therefore, I still deserve an apology from Roman Reigns.”

Reigns released footage live on Smackdown last week which appeared to show Rowan walking away from the scene of one of the attacks.

Daniel Bryan vs Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan have met 3x in single’s matches on WWE programming not including house show events. They met twice in 2013 with each wrestler winning once via DQ. Bryan and Reigns wouldn’t meet again until 2015, when Reigns defeated Bryan in a a match for the #1 Contendership to the WWE World Heavyweight title at Fastlane 2015.

Daniel Bryan Shares His Concerns Over Amazon Rainforest Fires

Daniel Bryan is known for being an outspoken environmentalist. At one point he insisted on being called “The Planet’s Champion.” He also debuted a hemp championship belt during his reign.

During an interview with Super Luchas, Bryan was asked about his thoughts on the current fires devastating the Amazon.

“It’s really sad because there are apparently hundreds of thousands of indigenous people in the area losing their homes, and not only that, because… It’s hard to say because I hate talking about politics, but they are letting everything burn so they can use the land for other things,” Bryan said.

He expressed his concerns for the indigenous people of the rainforest, mocking the idea they could move into a city.

“It Is A Devestating Scenario”

Bryan highlighted how the balance within the Amazon’s ecosystem would be disrupted by the fires. He explained how this kind of irreparable damage could lead to the extinction of animals and plant life.

“[…] the diversity of species in the Amazon rainforest is higher than anywhere else in the world, and there is much that could be lost. There are species that could become extinct, and the interesting part is that we don’t know which species correlate with others. We cannot say ‘These specific species must be saved’. There is, for example, the fungi kingdom, fungi. There is no variety of fungi as large as the one that exists in the Amazon rainforest, and we do not know how many of them are necessary for the planetary ecosystem, because everything causes an impact. We already know the impact caused by the reduction in the number of bees and the danger it represents. However, it is a devastating scenario.”

His wife, Brie Bella, has also shared her thoughts on the fires:

Daniel Bryan Wants to See Bandido, Rush & Dragon Lee In WWE

Daniel Bryan has been a firm fixture of WWE’s roster for years at this point, but the Superstar made a name for himself wrestling worldwide on the independent scene.

Bryan recently reflected on his time on the indies, highlighting what he misses about that scene and lifestyle in an interview with Super Luchas. He also discussed which luchadors he would like to compete in WWE.

Regarding the indie scene, Bryan admitted that he misses it—in particular getting the opportunity to wrestle against different people across the globe.

“Yes … I really miss all that,” Bryan confessed. “And one of the things I miss is fighting with different people. Being independent, you can fight with people you’ve never faced before, and that’s something I like. For example, on SmackDown, I struggled with Buddy Murphy, and I was very excited because I had never fought him. As an independent fighter, my mind was always working. ‘I don’t know who this guy is, I don’t know what he does, I’ve never been in this arena.’ I like those experiences.”

Lucha Lucha Lucha

When it comes to naming which luchadors he would love to see in WWE, Bryan admitted that it was difficult to choose as many of his favorites are now too old.

“I could say: ‘Wait a minute, I want Negro Casas in WWE’ or something, because I love Blue Panther, I love Negro Casas,” he said. “The first time I saw a fight of his was about 1987, but he is amazing. In 2019 he is still impressive. Then I have a lot of respect for them, but thinking about who could do it now in WWE, I could tell someone like Rush. I think Bandido would do it big; also, Dragon Lee could succeed.”

Despite recognizing their talent, he also stressed that WWE is loaded with top lucha talent. He name-dropped Andrade and Gran Metalik, calling both “fantastic.”

KENTA Responds To Daniel Bryan And Kofi Kingston Using The GTS

During a WWE Live Event in Lima, Peru on Saturday night, WWE Champion Kofi Kingston and Daniel Bryan decided to incorporate the GTS into their matchup. The decision was based on the crowd’s chants of CM Punk after Bryan asked them who the best was.

However, another wrestler has taken issue with their usage of the move—one he claims to own.

Former WWE Superstar and current New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) star KENTA tweeted his reaction to the usage of the GTS:

“Just letting you know © 2004 KENTA”

Both Kingston and Bryan would nail each other with the move CM Punk popularized in WWE. Bryan would hit Kingston twice with the move but would be unable to get the three count. With the crowd wanting more, Kingston would also utilize Punk’s former finisher.

Bullet Club

KENTA has been actively using the GTS now that he has returned to NJPW. He ended numerous matches during the promotion’s recent G1 Climax 29 tournament with the finisher. He would finish the tournament with 8 points based off of 4 victories.

During the G1 Climax finals, KENTA shocked fans by aligning himself with Bullet Club. Alongside his new affiliates, he attacked his friend Katsuyori Shibata, posing cross-legged atop Shibata’s chest once they were finished with the attack.

Daniel Bryan & Kofi Kingston Hit GTS After CM Punk Chants During Match

Daniel Bryan and Kofi Kingston had an interesting way of handling chants of CM Punk from fans during a recent match.

For years now, fans have been known to chant the name of the former WWE star during matches or segments that they don’t have a ton of interest in seeing.

That was a bit different when WWE held a live event on Saturday night in Lima, Peru at the Jockey Club del Peru.

CM Punk’s Agent Reportedly Reached Out To Fox About FS1 Hosting Gig

In the headliner of the show, Kofi Kingston defeated Daniel Bryan to retain the WWE Title. During the contest, Bryan asked the fans who’s the best, which led to the fans chanting for CM Punk.

This proceeded to have Bryan then hit Punk’s finisher, GTS, twice on Kingston and went for the cover to only get a two count. The crowd asked for a second one, which led to Kingston hitting Bryan with it.

Kofi Kingston Says Daniel Bryan Is “Unsung Hero” For His Rise To WWE Champion

WWE Champion Kofi Kingston spoke with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated for a new interview to promote WWE SummerSlam.

During the interview, Kingston talked highly of Daniel Bryan because he thinks he is the unsung hero in his rise in the company over the last few months. He has gone from being a mid-card talent to be in the main event spot on SmakDown Live.

“Bryan is the unsung hero,” said Kingston. “And he’s done a lot for guys who are undersized but showed they can still be cast in this top guy spot. He’s done it so well for a very, very long time.

Kingston brought up how it all dates back to Bryan’s run in 2013 where he had to fight The Authority (Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and Vince McMahon). In this feud, Bryan had to overcome the hurdles placed in front of him due to his size.

Kingston stated that Bryan went through that identical journey that he did to get to WrestleMania. He brought up how Bryan was badgered and blocked by The Authority and called a B-plus player. He noted that was Bryan’s story and become his.

Kingston stated that they don’t get a lot of shine in main events because of their height and weight. He thinks Bryan being his opponent at WrestleMania 35 was poetic.

Kingston added that he has a whole lot of respect for Bryan and the boundaries he’s been able to break.

Daniel Bryan Reportedly No Longer Has A Career-Altering Announcement To Make

Daniel Bryan never did announce his career-altering announcement as had been advertised multiple times for him to do on Smackdown. According to a report from Wrestling Observer Radio, we will never know what that announcement was to be.

“That’s been scrapped,” Dave Meltzer said in reference to the career-altering announcement Bryan was once expected to make. Bryan is now involved in a storyline where his tag partner Rowan was spotted by Buddy Murphy at the scene of an attack on Roman.

Daniel Bryan’s Career-Altering Announcement That Never Was

It is not known how or if the career-altering announcement was to play a part of the current storyline involving Roman Reigns. Neither Daniel Bryan nor Roman Reigns are scheduled to be apart of SummerSlam this weekend.

“I can’t imagine them doing SummerSlam and not having Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan on the show at all,” Meltzer wondered aloud. “They’re not going to wrestle but they may do the reveal or something like that on the show.”

Bryan recently took offence to a WWE.com correspondent questioning Rowan in regards to the attacks on Roman.

“This is typical media spin, this is typical media spin. And I like how you guys don’t try to put any of the blame on Roman Reings. What happened when Roman Reigns asked Buddy Murphy, what happened? What did he say he saw? He said he saw no one and only when he had his head forced against the wall by Roman Reigns did he say anything about Rowan,” Bryan said.

Daniel Bryan Lashes Out At Accusations Against Rowan

Last night on Smackdown, Roman Reigns confronted Blake Murphy in regards to the recent attacks he has faced. After being shoved against the wall, Murphy implicated Rowan as having been at the scene.

WWE.com correspondents recently caught up with Daniel Bryan and asked him about Murphy implicating Rowan in the attacks. Footage of the interaction was posted as a WWE.com exclusive:

Daniel Bryan On Murphy Implicating Rowan

“This is typical media spin, this is typical media spin. And I like how you guys don’t try to put any of the blame on Roman Reings. What happened when Roman Reigns asked Buddy Murphy, what happened? What did he say he saw? He said he saw no one and only when he had his head forced against the wall by Roman Reigns did he say anything about Rowan,” Bryan said.

“What would you do if I pinned your head to the wall and I said you couldn’t leave until you gave me a name? I guarantee you, you would give me a name. I don’t know Buddy Murphy, I don’t care about Roman Reigns, all I know is Rowan has nothing to do with this.”

Speculation On A Roman Reigns – Daniel Bryan Feud After SummerSlam

This week’s episode of SmackDown Live ended in a mystery as Roman Reigns, who was going to issue a SummerSlam challenge, was attacked by an unknown person.

While how this mystery attacker angle affects the SummerSlam plans involving Reigns is not known, it appears we may now have an idea about his future after the upcoming PPV.

Local advertisements are a promoting Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan for several shows this fall including the upcoming Raw and SmackDown tapings from Madison Square Garden in early September.

This match is also being advertised for many Live Events and one such event is the September 28th Live Event from Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, AZ.

Although not confirmed, these advertisements suggest that these two stars are going to be engaged in a rivalry after the SummerSlam PPV.

This won’t be the first time Bryan and Reigns would cross paths as they have had a short feud in 2015 which concluded with a match at the Fastlane PPV before WrestleMania.

Reigns challenged Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31. He had put up his title shot against the Beast on the line for his match against Bryan at the show.

It’s not known how WWE plans to kick off this feud between Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns and it would be interesting to see if the mystery attacker angle ends up being the start of this rivalry.

Daniel Bryan To Make “Career-Altering” Announcement Tonight On SmackDown

Daniel Bryan is set to make a “career-altering” announcement on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live.

This past Sunday at Extreme Rules, Bryan and Erik Rowan lost the SmackDown tag team championships to the New Day. WWE caught up with Bryan for a post-match reaction and he was livid. He had a dream to elevate the tag team division to excellence, but he failed. He followed his dream, but it was a lost cause.

Bryan then declared that if he wants to change the planet, he has to aim higher. “I have to go where Daniel Bryan has not gone before,” he said cryptically. “I know exactly what i have to do.”

The WWE.com SmackDown preview states Daniel Bryan has a big announcement that will change the course of his career. In the aftermath of his championship loss and subsequent meltdown, Bryan has snapped. The preview reads, “Bryan has promised that this will change the course of his career and shake SmackDown Live to its core. Just what exactly does Bryan have planned?”

Bryan’s promo Sunday night indicates he is moving on from tag team wrestling. We will get a definitive answer in a matter of hours.

Check back at SEScoops.com later tonight for the reveal of Daniel Bryan’s big announcement and our weekly SmackDown Takeaways feature.

Daniel Bryan was initially advertised as one of the 10 competitors in the #1 contender’s Battle Royal on Raw. Sami Zayn replaced him and WWE never explained why. Seth Rollins won the Battle Royal and will challenge Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. Bryan did not appear on the Raw broadcast, but he was backstage.

Big E & Xavier Woods Win SmackDown Tag Team Titles At WWE Extreme Rules

Despite what many fans and oddsmakers were expected, Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan have dropped the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Titles.

The New Day (Big E & Xavier Woods) beat Bryan and Rowan beat Heavy Machinery to win the titles at Sunday’s (July 14, 2019) WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view event. This show took place in Philadelphia, PA at the Wells Fargo Center.

Bryan and Rowan were victorious over Heavy Machinery in their title defense at the WWE Stomping Grounds pay-per-view event last month.

Originally, it was announced Bryan and Rowan vs. The New Day. However, WWE later booked Heavy Machinery vs. Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler on SmackDown Live that saw Otis and Tucker go over. As a result, they were added to this title match at Extreme Rules.

Bryan and Rowan beat The Usos (Jimmy & Jey) to win the titles that were vacant at the time on the May 7th episode of SmackDown Live in Louisville, KY at the KFC Yum Center.

WWE made the match announcement on last Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live after an exchange of words between the two teams recently on television.

Bryan and Rowan beat The Usos (Jimmy & Jey) to win the titles that were vacant at the time on the May 7th episode of SmackDown Live in Louisville, KY at the KFC Yum Center.

The pairing came at a time when WWE needed new champions as back on April 30th episode of SmackDown Live, The Hard Boys (Jeff & Matt Hardy) had to vacate the straps due to Jeff undergoing surgery on his right knee that will keep him out of action for a long time.

As a result, it ended Bryan’s time in the main event scene as a key player on SmackDown Live and wrapped up his program with WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, who has been feuding with Dolph Ziggler as of late.

Bryan and Rowan didn’t work the previous pay-per-view event, Super ShowDown earlier this month in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia due to Bryan unwilling to travel to the country.

Daniel Bryan Wants to Wrestle Until He’s 70

After being forced to retire from active competition and staying away from the ring for almost 3 years, Daniel Bryan made his return to wrestling in 2018. However, since then he has been working a lighter schedule.

Due to his various health issues, a lot of people wonder how long Bryan plans to continue wrestling. Many believe that he might have plans of retirement in next few years; though according to the former WWE Champion himself, this is not the case.

During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, one half of the Planet’s Tag Team Champions talked about his future and revealed that he plans to wrestle for as long as possible and he claimed that we’ll find him in the ring months before he dies:

“There are people who say, ‘I only want to do this for three or four more years,’ or ‘I only want to do this until I’m 45,’ No. I want to do this until I’m 70. Months before I die, I want to be doing a wrestling show.”

Continuing on the topic, the SmackDown Star said that even though he won’t be able to do the things he is able to do now when he gets older, he has been passionate about wrestling his entire life and so he wants to do this his whole life.

Apart from this, Bryan also took some shots at the current WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, saying that Kingston is the reason why nobody talks about the Tag Titles main eventing WrestleMania. You can check out his full interview at this link.

Daniel Bryan Not Going To Saudi Arabia For Super Showdown

Kevin Owens was the first person to tell the WWE Officials that he won’t be going to Saudi Arabia for the Super Showdown and now another big name has been confirmed to have bailed out of the event.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio, one half of the current SmackDown Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan will not be flying to the Middle Eastern country for the upcoming show.

This will be the second time Bryan has chosen not to participate in an event in the country after he pulled out of the Crown Jewel PPV last year.

The last Saudi PPV Daniel worked was the Greatest Royal Rumble where he started the 50 Men Battle Royal with Dolph Ziggler and he lasted for more than an hour before being eliminated by Big Cass.

He then refused to go to the next Saudi Show in Crown Jewel after the controversy surrounding the missing journalist Jamal Khashoggi became a topic of discussion.

It’s worth mentioning here that Daniel Bryan wasn’t the only star who pulled out of the show and John Cena who was originally expected to compete in the World Cup at Crown Jewel had also refused to join the WWE crew later on.
