What Happened After RAW Ended – HHH Kicks Fans Out Of The Building (Video)

Following Monday’s post-Hell In A Cell edition of WWE RAW in Orlando, Florida, WWE COO Triple H cut a promo on all the fans in the arena.

HHH, standing in the ring with the new WWE Champion, Randy Orton, told all of the fans in attendance to get out of his building for laughing at him. The fans did the Daniel Bryan “No!” chant, which further angered “The Game.” Triple H then hired all of the fans. Seconds after informing all of the fans that they now had jobs with WWE, he told them they were all fired and again demanded that they leave his building.

At one point, the WWE COO even told JBL, who was still seated at ringside alongside his RAW broadcast partners, to call the cops and have all of the fans arrested for trespassing.

– Daniel Bryan spoke to SiriusXM personality Sam Roberts, host of The Sam Roberts Show podcast, at Ringside Fest in New York City on Saturday. In the interview, he discussed his size, his favorite opponent, headlining pay-per-view events, whether he’s happy with his current role, and more.

In response to whether he pays attention to WWE’s cable television ratings, he responded, “I pay attention to that stuff, but I’ve always paid attention to that stuff. And I don’t pay attention to it any more than normal. Really, all you can do is go out there and do your best. Whether people are watching or whether people are not watching, you always hope that people are going to love this, but I can’t make people’s minds for them.”

– The official WWE website has released never-before-seen photos of John Cena defending the WWE Championship against CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler, Alberto Del Rio and Jack Swagger inside Hell in a Cell after a Raw in September 2011 went off the air. Daniel Bryan Talks Hell in a Cell, Responds To Fan Criticism Over WWE Handling Of His Storyline

Daniel Bryan, who will face Randy Orton tonight at WWE Hell in a Cell, spoke with PWInsiderTV yesterday at Ringsidefest in New York City about entering the Cell for the first time in his career, the pressure of working WWE pay-per-view main events and how it compares to working on top elsewhere in the world, advice Shawn Michaels gave him, his engagement to Brie Bella, whether we’ll ever bring the “Final Countdown” theme song to WWE and more.

Much has been said online about WWE’s handling of ongoing storyline for the WWE Championship, as Bryan’s never-ending chase for the gold has left may fans upset. In response to the fan criticism, Bryan remarks, “Let them be critical.”

He explains, “I’ve always thought that. The fans have the right to say what they what and to be critical about something. If you don’t like it, say it. We live in a free country and the problem is that people don’t voice their opinions enough. People sit on their hands too much and don’t say what they want, say what they really believe in. If they believe that, say it. And that’s good, because constructive criticism is always good to me, and the company can take it how they want to. They listen to it, and if they look at it and say, “Oh wait a second, they don’t have any valid points. We want them to be upset.” Hey, that’s okay. But if they look at it and say, “That is a valid point, we might need to change something.” That’s the basis for change to me, is constructive criticism and people going against the norm.”

While Bryan doesn’t feel pressure competing in WWE pay-per-view main events, he still gets nervous. Bryan, who was trained by Michaels, revealed a piece of advice given to him by the WWE Hall of Famer: “Shawn Michaels told me when I was training, if you don’t get nervous before you step through that curtain, then you probably shouldn’t do this anymore. So there’s always that little bit of nervousness because you want to go out there and you just want to give people everything that you got and you want to give them a great match, and all that kind of stuff, especially when you’re in the main event. But the nerves of having to follow something…the only time I really felt that was at SummerSlam, when I was watching CM Punk vs. Brock Lesnar and going, “Oh my gosh. We have to follow this!”

Big Show Speaks On Crying On TV, Cena’s Early Return, Daniel Bryan

The following are highlights from a recent BetweenTheRopes.com interview with Big Show:

On if he’s always had the ability to cry on command: “No! (laughs) It’s funny because I didn’t come about being able to do that until I did the movie ‘Knucklehead’. It was funny I did my movie ‘Knucklehead’ there was a scene where I had to get upset in the bathroom. I just screwed a bunch of things up and look in the mirror and for my character it was a real stressful moment and I was trying to cry and I didn’t know how to. How the hell do you just cry? Hit my thumb with a hammer or what? One of the other actors gave me some advice, think about something emotional. Think about something that would take you take that feeling and then bleed off that feeling. Everybody was real supportive and I did the scene and the director said it was good and what he wanted. Then I went to my trailer and then for about 45 minutes in my trailer I could stop balling. And I called my buddy was like dude was is wrong with me? Did I break something? I’m blowing snot bubbles, crying, hyperventilating. What is wrong with me? He said that’s what actors do. When they create a channel to that emotion, then they can tap into it and use it at any time. The weird thing is I’m a seven foot, 430 pound killer monster giant but to show an emotional side is actually a different dynamic for my character.”

“Was I happy about doing it every week? No. I was like oh geez I have to cry again? I was getting sick of it but it worked out. Now we’ve flipped full circle and we’re rocking and rolling the other way so its good.”

On John Cena’s early return from surgery: “Surprised but not surprised. I knew John was going to come back early. I didn’t know he would come back this early. I’ve known him for a long time. Since day one when he walked in the door his work ethic and the bar that he sets is a lot higher than everyone else. We’ll fly 16, 18 hours to Australia to the Middle East, Abu Dhabi or something like that. After an 18 hour plane right, the only thing I was to do really is get something to eat, have a nice shower and go to bed. John hits, right away he goes to the gym. No matter how little sleep he’s had, he goes to the gym everyday. He has that work ethic. His drive and his commitment, the things he does for the community and outside things we do for this company like Susan G. Komen and Make-a-Wish and Special Olympics and all the things John does. The guy constantly goes. I think one time someone told him he was like 77 or 78 days in a row without a day off. Like he did something every single day. Most of us go bat nuts crazy after 15, 16 days in a row. We all need to be cooled off and sent home so we can keep our mental faculties. He’s just got that drive and work ethic so I knew he would be back.”

On Daniel Bryan’s rise in WWE: “I think it’s fantastic. I got to work with Daniel when he first came in. I did some stuff with him and he was just very talented in the ring, really good at being a guy you can depend on. That’s the thing about having a long-term career in this business is the dependability factor and relatively injury-free. A lot of guys are great talents but are prone to injuries. Daniel is not prone to injuries knock on wood. He’s one of those kind of guys that no matter what the situation you put him in, he’s going to deliver in it well. When you get that kind of reputation, the only place you can go is up the ladder. That’s why it’s funny now they’re telling him he’s not the face of the company and that whole storyline where a guy like Daniel Bryan is exactly what you want in a locker room leader and a so to speak face of the company because it’s a tremendous work load being that face of the company. There’s a lot of outside things that you have to do and you have to have the ability to step up to the plate and really execute on all levels. That’s something Daniel does very well. I’m happy for him because he’s very humble, great guy, great sense of humor.”

Unhappiness In WWE Over Triple H’s Promo On Raw, Jericho, Edge & RVD Not Contacted Ahead Of Time

Monday on Raw during the contact signing for the WWE Championship Match between Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton at Hell in a Cell, Triple H offended WWE Superstars and fans alike with his verbal burial of the talents of Bryan, as well as Chris Jericho, Edge and Rob Van Dam. WWE’s Chief Operating Officer grouped Bryan with his three predecessors and declared that like them, he is not capable of being “The Face of WWE.”

“Here’s the thing, Daniel. I’ve seen guys like you come and go a million times. Guys like Jericho, Edge, Rob Van Dam. All guys that are very talented, don’t get me wrong. Top guys! Very popular! But not “the one.” Never were they “the one.” And maybe nobody wants to say this, but it needs to be said: It’s a fact. If any of those guys had been the face of the WWE back in the day, we’d all be working for Ted Turner right now,” said Hunter.

“You think you’re playing in the big leagues, kid? You have no idea. You step inside that Hell in a Cell and I have a feeling you’re gonna prove to the world that you’re a B+ player.”

Bryan subsequently challenged Triple H to a match. “The Game” responded by saying he’s a “A+ player” and “a star” who only faces the likes of The Undertaker, The Rock and Brock Lesnar.

As reported the following day, the Chief Operating Officer’s controversial remarks had a lot of people shaking their heads backstage since they feel he was burying Bryan as a performer rather than knocking him in a villainous manner that would lead to Bryan gaining retribution. Meanwhile, Dave Meltzer revealed on Wrestling Observer Radio (audio available here) on Wednesday that Jericho, Edge and Van Dam were not given notice to the angle ahead of time.

Following Raw, Jericho went on Twitter to respond to Triple H.

Later that day, Jericho downplayed his reaction to Triple H. Responding to a tweet that labeled what Hunter said as “completely untrue and unfair,” Jericho wrote, “No big deal. Always nice to be mentioned on Raw.”

Meltzer speculated that Jericho was legitimately upset with Hunter’s remarks. He added, “I can tell you with 100% certainty with the Jericho situation, that it was not an angle.”

Meltzer garnered reaction from some WWE talent on the controversial promo, many of whom felt it was counter-productive. They also felt that Hunter’s dismissive remarks are legitimate gripes.

“As far as the talent in the dressing room—the reaction that I got from a couple of people, was basically that they all thought that the interview was counter-productive,” said Meltzer. “They all felt that Triple H, while he will say “well, I was only working,” those were his true thoughts on those guys, and it didn’t make people very happy overall.”

Cena vs. Del Rio On SmackDown, Howard Stern Co-Host To Date Top Wrestler?

-In addition to being planned as the top two matches at Sunday’s WWE Hell In A Cell pay-per-view, both Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan and John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio are being advertised locally for next Tuesday night’s WWE SmackDown television taping, likely as post-show dark matches.

-On Wednesday’s edition of the Howard Stern Radio Show, frequent caller and member of the “Wack Pack,” Eric The Midget, informed Stern that TNA Impact Wrestling star Magnus was interested in dating Stern’s co-host, Robin Quivers. They showed Quivers a photo of Magnus and she apparently seemed interested.

“My name is Daniel Bryan and I’m a professional wrestler.”

– Sheamus, who has been sidelined since August due to a torn labrum in his shoulder, participated in an anti-bullying rally today in Orlando, Florida, with a clean shaven look. He apparently plans to regrow it as he posted a message on Twitter asking fans which beard style he should follow.

– Ryback is seeking a cover for Muscle & Fitness, a national bodybuilding and fitness publication. He wrote to their Twitter account on Wednesday, “Hey @muscle_fitness when are you guys gonna put The Big Guy Ryback on the cover? It is time for Ryback to Rule M&F.”

Negative Reaction To Triple H’s Remarks Towards Daniel Bryan, NXT Star Receives Positive Reviews

– As seen at the conclusion of Raw, Triple H took hold of the mic and ran Daniel Bryan down yet again in typical fashion, as he proclaimed that the 5’8″ grappler is not worthy of being “The Face of WWE.” The Chief Operating Officer’s remarks had a lot of people shaking their heads backstage since they feel he was burying him as a performer rather than knocking him in a villainous manner that would lead to Bryan gaining retribution.

– WWE NXT star Tyler Breeze, who competed on WWE live events over the weekend in matches against Justin Gabriel, receiving positive reviews for his performance. His co-workers were especially impressed with his heel mannerisms.

Updated WWE Hell In A Cell PPV Lineup: New Match & Stipulation Added

On Monday’s live edition of WWE RAW, a new match with an added stipulation was announced for the WWE Hell In A Cell pay-per-view, which emanates from Miami, Florida on October 27th.

It was announced by RAW General Manager Brad Maddox that a “Beat The Clock Challenge” would take place to determine whether Paul Heyman or CM Punk would get to select the stipulation for Punk’s match against Ryback at the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view. Ryback would take on R-Truth, while Punk would take on Curtis Axel. Ryback defeated Truth at 5:44, while Punk defeated Axel at 5:33.

It had already been revealed earlier in the night by Heyman that if Ryback won, the match with Punk would be a two-on-one handicap match against both Ryback and Axel. Since Punk won, he decided to keep it a two-on-one handicap match, instead featuring Ryback and Heyman against himself in a Hell In A Cell match.

Daniel Bryan Speaks On Proposing To Brie Bella, Total Divas, Hell In A Cell Debut

The following are highlights of a recent Miami Herald interview with WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan:

On if he was more nervous proposing to Brie Bella or working at WrestleMania: “Oh, I was way more nervous to pop the question, way more nervous to pop the question. You would think it would be the opposite, in front of 70,000 people, going out there in your spandex, but absolutely not. Popping the question was way more nerve-wracking.”

On if he thinks the Total Divas reality show will help women’s wrestling: “I hope it does. As of now, I don’t know where it’s at because the audiences are so different, but I would like to think it’s going to bring more female fans to WWE to watch the divas because the divas are really good at what they do. So I’m hoping that cross-section starts coming over. That would be great.”

On working in his first Hell In A Cell match: “Hell in a Cell is one of the most brutal matches that you can do in WWE. I’ve never been in one. So I’m going to go out there and do it once and probably only once [Bryan chuckles]. I don’t think most of the guys who’ve been in Hell in a Cell matches ever really want to go do it again. A lot of times the top guys end up doing multiple Hell in a Cell matches, but they’re [rough]. Every WWE superstar does want to do it once just to experience it.”

Brad Maddox Wrestling Matches For WWE, Big Show “Re-Hired” For One Night

Due to a depleted talent roster, WWE was forced to shuffle things up a bit during their recent three-event tour of Abu Dhabi this weekend. The following is a breakdown of things you wouldn’t necessarily have seen if the company had a more complete roster to tour with.

-WWE used Hall Of Famer Booker T as a special guest referee for the Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan main event matches.

-Big Show, who was “fired” in storylines on last Monday’s WWE RAW show, was included on the tour. The explanation given to fans in attendance was that Big Show was given a “one night contract” to compete against The Shield.

-WWE NXT wrestlers Bo Dallas and Sami Zayn worked in matches on all of the shows this weekend. However, both guys have been included in several recent non-televised live events.

-WWE RAW General Manager Brad Maddox, who is not typically used to wrestle, worked on the undercards in actual matches this weekend.
