-WWE has posted a new Tout video of The Shield cutting a promo on the Rhodes Family, who as previously reported, will be appearing on Monday’s edition of RAW to set up a six-man tag match (Dusty Rhodes, Cody Rhodes & Dustin “Goldust” Rhodes vs. The Shield) at the upcoming WWE Battleground pay-per-view on Sunday, October 6th. -Following the successful “#hashtagmania” online video segment by late night host Jimmy Fallon and pop star Justin Timberlake this week, WWE Superstar John Cena is attempting to recruit the guys to do a “#hashtagmania” segment at WrestleMania XXX next year. As of this writing, Fallon has agreed to Cena, but Timberlake is yet to jump on board.

-Former WWE Diva Maryse will be doing commentary once again for the Family Wrestling Entertainment (FWE) promotion during their event coming up on Saturday, October 12th.

As noted previously, Triple H has extended an invitation to the Rhodes family to appear at Monday’s edition of WWE RAW, which is the “go-home” show for the upcoming WWE Battleground pay-per-view.

According to one report, the reason the Rhodes family, which consists of Dusty Rhodes, Cody Rhodes and Dustin “Goldust” Rhodes, are coming to RAW, is to set up a six-man tag match for the Battleground show.

It had been rumored several weeks ago, and it appears, at least according to plans as recently as last week, that the match between the Rhodes family and The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns) is on for Battleground.

-As previously reported, WWE COO Triple H will soon be making a proposal to the Rhodes Family. Apparently, the proposal will be the next step in the McMahon/HHH-Rhodes storyline, which will lead to their appearance on RAW next Monday night.

According to reports, Monday’s edition of WWE RAW was likely heavily rewritten at the last minute, as Vince McMahon was originally intended to be a major part of the show.

Speaking of Monday’s RAW, the Goldust vs. Randy Orton match impressed many company officials, as well as fellow WWE Superstars. In fact, both Goldust and Orton reportedly received a standing ovation from the talent and crew as soon as they went backstage after their match.

While it’s not confirmed, and is merely a rumor at this point, there is a chance WWE Hall Of Famer Dusty Rhodes will be featured on upcoming WWE television programming in the current storyline regarding his son, Cody Rhodes. What role Dusty will play, if any, is unknown at this point.

WWE Attitude Era star Dustin “Goldust” Rhodes lost his match against current WWE Champion Randy Orton on Monday’s edition of WWE RAW. As noted this past weekend when the match was announced, the stipulation was that if Goldust defeated Orton, and Cody Rhodes was willing to apologize, Cody Rhodes would get his job back with WWE.

Due to the fact that Goldust lost on RAW, how WWE will explain Cody Rhodes’ return in the storyline on television is anyone’s guess at this point. It is known, however, that Cody Rhodes will be returning to WWE television after his wedding and honeymoon.

As reported earlier this weekend, it was announced on the official Twitter account of Brad Maddox that on Monday’s RAW, in addition to the return of WWE Hall Of Famer Adam “Edge” Copeland, one of the main events will be current WWE Champion Randy Orton versus Dustin “Goldust” Rhodes in a match where if Goldust wins, and Cody Rhodes apologizes, Cody gets his job back with WWE.

The report was later additionally confirmed via a tweet on the official Twitter account of Goldust.

Since then, WWE Champion Randy Orton has chimed in on his official Twitter account, posting the following tweet:

“Cody’s big brother wants to come to the rescue, but after I beat @Dustin_rhodes1 aka Goldust on #Raw I’ll have Shattered any and all Dreams”

You can officially pencil in former WWE Superstar Goldust vs. Randy Orton for this coming Monday’s edition of WWE RAW in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where WWE Hall Of Famer Adam “Edge” Copeland will also be making his WWE television return.

The story broke on Twitter, where on the official account of Brad Maddox, it was noted that after speaking with Triple H, it is confirmed that on Monday’s RAW it will be Goldust vs. Randy Orton, where if Goldust wins, and Cody Rhodes apologizes, Cody can have his job back with WWE.

WWE.com has an article up about Cody Rhodes being “fired” on RAW, featuring quotes from his brother Dustin (Goldust) and his father, WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes. Here are some highlights of what they said:

Dustin: “What’s good for business? I don’t think Hunter knows right this second. I think he’s a little bit blinded by this job and his position. He wants to make his mark and I understand that. But he’s going about it the wrong way. Cody has taken whatever he has been given and has done it to the best of his ability with the perfect attitude. Sure, he’s a little hot-headed and impatient at times, but he was continuing to grow and continuing to cement himself as one of the top Superstars. His future was bright, and it was all taken away because some executive decided to abuse his power.”

If I were to say what it could be, think of it as something that has shows or live interactive things for fans.
