– As we noted earlier today, former WWE Superstar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is rumored to have a role in the upcoming Paramount Pictures “Baywatch” movie. The Rock himself has since confirmed the rumors via social media with the following tweet:
– Tommy Dreamer has been teasing a big announcement for his upcoming House Of Hardcore VII event. The announcement is expected to be unveiled on Monday and early speculation is that it will involve additional ECW “originals” being added to the lineup.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has signed on to star in the Baywatch movie that is being produced by Paramount. He tweeted on Friday:
“This is my beach bitch!” Rumors are true… we’re making #BAYWATCH the movie. Edgy, raunchy and hopefully, funny as all hell. Cue slo mo running on the beach… #WhoNeedsMouthToMouth #RedShortsBeHugginABrotha”
– Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently filmed some scenes for “Fast & Furious: Supercharged,” which is a new theme park “experience” that is coming soon to Universal Studios Hollywood.
– WWE Network recently posted the following regarding the delayed launch in the United Kingdom:
“The launch of @WWENetwork in the U.K. will be delayed given discussions with potential partners. A launch date will be announced by Nov. 1.”
It looks as though WWE is talking with various potential partners regarding the possibility of launching the WWE Network as a channel, similar to how they did in Canada.
As we reported a few weeks ago, Dwayne Johnson, better known to WWE fans as The Rock, was deciding which character he would play in the new “Shazam” comic-based film.
On Wednesday, Rock confirmed via Twitter that he will be playing the role of “Black Adam,” who is considered more of an anti-hero type of character than an actual villain.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has confirmed that he will either play the hero role of Shazam or the villain role of Black Adam in an upcoming DC Comics film project.

– Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been nominated in the “Favorite Male Buttkicker” category in Nickelodeon’s “Kid’s Choice Awards.” This is the same award that The Rock won in 2013. This year, The Rock is up against Hugh Jackman, Johnny Depp and Robert Downey Jr.

According to officials within WWE, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is the leading candidate as one of the “main event inductees” for the 2015 WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony in California.
Apparently it’s up to The Rock if he wants to accept the induction, as his decision would basically center around whether or not his Hollywood schedule allows him to be available to take part in the annual wrestling honor.
– The Rock surprised an 8th grade class at Academy of Arts Charter School in Allentown, Pennsylvania this past week while he was in town filming for his new TNT show, “Wake Up Call.” The Rock spoke to the students about working hard to achieve your dreams.
– Italian wrestler Adrian Severe worked a WWE tryout at the Performance Center last month. Severe was reportedly offered the tryout after receiving a short tryout while WWE was in Germany last year. Severe is a pro wrestler that was trained by former WCW star Alex Wright.
– Part-time WWE Superstar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently revealed some details on his second autobiography via his official Facebook account. The Rock wrote:

– Kellan Lutz, who is portraying “Hercules” in a separate film from the one Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently starred in, noted in a recent interview that he was unable to get as big as The Rock did for his role. Lutz even went as far as to say, “There’s not enough ‘extra-curricular’ stuff for that.”

– WWE Superstar Mark Henry has apparently been spotted in Boston, Massachusetts, the site of tonight’s WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view. Henry was seen flying into Boston with WWE agents Billy Kidman and Dean Malenko.
Obviously Henry’s presence in Boston doesn’t necessarily mean that he will be making his return during the show. Some are speculating, however, that he will return to answer the “open challenge” that Ryback is rumored to be a part of on the show tonight.
– WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio made his official WWE return on the special “RAW Country” show on Monday night. Mysterio returned after the main event, which featured CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Goldust, Cody Rhodes & The Usos vs. The Wyatt Family and The Shield. After the babyfaces won the match, The Real Americans hit the ring to help the heels beat them down. Mysterio’s music hit, and out came “Mr. 6-1-9” to help even the score. Mysterio hit his 6-1-9 on two members of the heel team and celebrates with the babyfaces to close the show.
