Enzo Amore and Big Cass’ time with WWE have come to an end – for now.
Amore was released from WWE this past January after some sexual assault allegations against him came to light. Cass was released earlier this week after WWE officials seemed to have grown tired of his antics and issues.
Cass and Amore are former NXT and RAW Tag Team division competitors, and at one point were very over as fan favorites. Now that they’re no longer under the thumb of WWE it looks like some indy promoters could try and get their hands on the duo.
Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline reports that a lot of indy promoters have already tried to book Cass and Amore together as a tag team. The only issue is that Amore and Cass had a real-life falling out, however, it’s believed that they could set that aside and work together for the right amount of money.
Prior to his WWE release, former Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore was scheduled to be current RAW Women’s Champion Nia Jax’s Mixed Match Challenge partner. Unfortunately Amore fell ill just before he needed to film a bunch of footage for the Facebook show and was replaced by Apollo Crews.
WWE teased a romantic relationship between Jax and Amore on TV for a few weeks. The conclusion to the angle between Amore and Jax was never brought to light, however, as he was subsequently released by the company. Amore recently appeared on the Store Horseman podcast to discuss this.
The Realest Guy In The Room revealed the conclusion would have resulted in Jax finding out that he was hooking up with Alexa Bliss on the side:
“I was getting so much heat it was awesome that people probably won’t appreciate it until five, ten years from now,” Amore said. “Like a babyface transition that I made and on a marketing level too it was crazy and Vince wanted me in that grey area though. He didn’t want me full-blown. He had plans to make me full-blown that nobody else knew about, not even the other people that were involved in it.
“I mean look at that Nia / Alexa Bliss WrestleMania blow-off. What do you think was gonna happen? How else could I get full-blown heat? Enzo Amore with the grey area trying to get full-blown heel real, real f–king heat. How do you do that? I’m using Nia as a heater to keep my title and I get caught hooking up with her best friend backstage. Bang, that’s how you do it. Nia didn’t know that. Alexa didn’t know it. I knew that because Vince told me […] I was just toying along with her I wanted her to win me matches, I wanted her to be like Chyna.

Enzo Amore had claimed that he is not on talking terms with former Tag Team Partner Big Cass during an interview with Corey Graves on WWE Network.
During his latest appearance on Store Horseman podcast, Enzo who now goes by the name Real1 gave an update on the situation and revealed the reason for his heat with Big Cass.
According to him, the Brooklyn Street Fight between the two was expected to involve an angle where Amore would hit his former partner with a chair and Enzo was considering it to be the payoff for the beatings he took from the hands of Cass.
However, Big Cass ended up tearing his ACL just before the planned spot, forcing it to be scrapped and according to the former Cruiserweight Champion; this is the reason for his anger and he can never forgive Cass for it:
“It was the first time in my life in wrestling where I ever went, ‘bro. I can’t forgive you for this.’ Like, I’ve let people kill me for the past five years. I’ve taken the heat in every one of our matches, every f–kin bump. And I get this chair in my hand, and you’re standing up, and you can’t take a chair shot?”
During the interview, Real1 also explained how other legends in the industry worked matches through injuries implying that the former NXT Star should have done the same.
Enzo Amore and Big Cass broke up their team in June last year and the two then feuded for a couple of months. Their Brooklyn Street Fight during the Raw episode following SummerSlam in August was apparently expected to be the final bout of their rivalry.
The match, however, ended in a disqualification after Cass suffered the injury and was not able to complete the bout. Enzo was then moved to 205 Live.
Apart from this, Enzo Amore also talked about possible in ring return, Neville being the ‘best guy ever’ and more. You can check out his full interview here. The mentioned spot can be seen in the video below:
Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion, Enzo Amore, recently appeared on the “Store Horsemen” podcast. The podcast features comedians from “the Comedy Store” in Los Angelas talking about pro-wrestling.
Enzo Amore on Almost Quitting WWE
During the podcast, Amore noted that he got into a disagreement with WWE management shortly after his heel turn. According to Enzo, the company never officially told him he was turning heel.
“I was backstage, I wrote the most tremendous promo of my life, which would have saved me as a babyface if I would have gotten the microphone,” Amore said. “So I was in the midst of turning heel but they didn’t want to tell me that, per say, per say. For the first time they come to me and say ‘no, you can’t say anything. You have to read this verbatim.’ And I’m backstage losing my sh*t, and Hunter comes up to me and was like ‘you say what’s on that script if you wanna keep your job.’ And they didn’t tell me I was turning heel so I get it, but at the time and in the moment, I was like f*ck this man I’m quitting.”
As talk turned to the allegations which have been plaguing his career as of late, Enzo had this to say:
“You know how scarred I am, bro? I haven’t even talked to a woman in five-six months. I’m out here hitting the repeat list, dawg.”
Enzo Amore’s Problems With WWE Creative
It also appears Enzo did not get along well with the creative team in WWE. During the podcast, Enzo also spent some time explaining why he and the WWE writers often came into conflict.
“As a writer, you gotta understand why people were maybe were mad to work with me or say I was difficult to work with. If a writer has a job to work with you and you get to work on Monday I re-write the whole f*cking promo,” Enzo said. “So they would give me my bullet points and I would rewrite my whole promos you know what I’m saying, and sometimes I could and could not, for instance ‘zero dimes’ you remember that thing? Like, Vince didn’t get it. So I used in NXT a bunch when I got to the main roster, Vince was like ‘…what’s that mean?’ So he doesn’t get but we’re making money off merchandise with it.”
Enzo Amore is returning to professional wrestling. The promotion responsible for this is House of Glory, run by wrestler Amazing Red. The promotion has been running shows out of New York for the last 6 years. Their most recent event featured members of the Latin American Xchange and Juventud Guerrera.
The event will take place August 17th, 2018 from Jamaica, New York. There will be a pre-show Meet and Greet scheduled at NYC Arena as well. Amore now appears to be going under the name “Real1”, which has been his social media handle for some time now.
It is not yet clear if Enzo will be wrestling on the show or just making an appearance.
Shortly after being cleared from a criminal investigation, Enzo released a rap video through World Star Hip-Hop. His first single took shots at his accuser, even referencing that her wages would be garnished due to the impact her accusations had on his career.
Enzo then released his second music video recently. The track “Bury Me A G” was released on June 7th, 2018 and has almost a half a million views on YouTube already. His first track “Phoenix” is up over 2 million views.
Enzo recently shared some advice given to him by the late Dusty Rhodes:
“Dusty Rhodes gave me the best advice I ever got in life,” Real1 Tweeted.“You could be good, you could be bad, or you could be different. Be different.”
Amore’s last professional wrestling match was on January 21st, 2018. The match took place on a 205 Live house show. Amore successfully defended his Cruiserweight Championship against Cedric Alexander in a match which also featured Nia Jax as the special referee.
Former Cruiserweight Champion and former WWE Star Enzo Amore started his music career last month when he released his first rap song titled Phoenix on May 28th.
Now despite the fact that his first single was not a critical success, the former Cruiserweight Star has launched his second music video. The song titled “Bury Me A G” can be seen below:
Enzo Amore was fired from WWE following Raw 25 when a story about him being investigated for rape allegations became viral. Though it was revealed last month that authorities won’t be filing any charges against Amore and the investigation of the case has been closed.
WWE Fans On Who Is Their Current Favorite Champion
WWE.com has a new poll asking fans who is their favorite champion from the current roster and the options include all the Champions from NXT as well.
As of this writing, the Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins is leading the poll with 29% votes. He is closely followed by the WWE Champion AJ Styles who has 27% vote share.
Surprisingly, the Universal Champion Brock Lesnar sits at the 6th position with only 5% votes and the United States Champion Jeff Hardy (8%) North American Champion Adam Cole (7%) and NXT Champion Aleister Black (6%) are favored by the fans over the Beast.
Despite WWE’s best attempts, fans will likely never forget about Big Cass’ former association with Enzo Amore.
Amore was released from WWE earlier this year after learning of some sexual assault allegations that were brought against him (which have since been dropped). Since his departure, Big Cass has been pushed as a top heel on WWE TV.
Cass has been working a program with Daniel Bryan over on SmackDown Live. Ringside News reports that yesterday (Sun. June 3, 2018) during a live event in Waco, Texas, fans begun chanting “We want Enzo” at Big Cass as they were disappointed with his match against Bryan.
Initially, Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz was advertised for that event. Instead, Miz took part in a Fatal Five-Way match for the United States Title, and Bryan worked against Cass in the main event.
Fans reportedly weren’t interested in the match at all until they got the opportunity to do the “YES!” chant. Bryan emerged victorious in the match to send the crowd home happy.
It seems like the release of former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore could have been influenced by more than the now-dropped sexual assault allegations against him.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports on Insider Elite that several people in WWE tell him Amore’s release was based on much more than the allegations, as that was viewed as more of a ‘last straw’ situation.
Apparently Amore had rubbed many people the wrong way as he would say things he wasn’t supposed to say and also carried himself in a manner that was unfavorable. When the allegations were brought to light, WWE had finally had enough of his shenanigans and decided to cut ties with him.
Since the allegations have been dropped, Amore has begun his career as a rapper and released a song in which he disses his accuser. He also has some subtle WWE references in his song as well.
Discussion: What are your thoughts on the entire situation between Amore and WWE? Will he ever be back?
There has been a longstanding rumor going around surrounding former Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore’s release from WWE earlier this year.
It was speculated that Amore was released from his contract, not because of the sexual assault accusations against him, but because he didn’t notify WWE when he was alerted of the investigation by police.
Earlier this week Amore came back into the public eye when he dropped a diss rap against his accuser, and people who had been doubting him. He now seems to have responded to the rumors going around regarding his release from WWE.
Amore claimed that he wasn’t contacted by the police prior to January 22nd, which was the day he was suspended by WWE, putting a dagger in the theory that he was released because he failed to alert WWE of the investigation:
I hate to be the 1 to pull the nipple out of the baby’s mouth.. but NO. I WAS NOT CONTACTED ONCE BY THE POLICE BEFORE JAN. 22nd. #bigFACTS
There has also been some speculation from fans online that Amore could file a wrongful termination lawsuit against WWE as a result. We’ll have to wait and see what happens.
One former WWE NXT star has reflected on Finn Balor dealing with Enzo Amore.
That star is former NXT Tag Team Champion Simon Gotch, who is now known as Simon Grimm. He talked about a wide range of topics during a recent appearance on Robbie E’s Why It Ended podcast.
During this interview, he brought up how although Amore was fine with his promos and never got any heat as a result of them, it was a bit of a different story when it came to the rest of the superstars.
Gotch stated that Amore tried to give the former Universal Champion some advice about women. “I noticed he would try to buddy up with people when he thought he could get something from them, and that didn’t sit well with people,” said Grimm. “When Fergal, Finn Balor, got there, [Enzo] immediately was just d–k riding him to high heaven. Right away. ‘Oh, bro. you wanna get chicks, you know what you gotta do? You gotta get an apartment downtown, bro. Cuz then you can walk to all the bars and walk right home.'”
Gotch would go onto say that Balor laughed at Amore because he was funny at first but then “lost his patience with him eventually.”
Gotch noted that Amore wanting to get close to Balor was due to the fact that he knew he would be a star in the sports entertainment company.
The former WWE star added that at the end of the day, Balor did not need Amore’s help due to the fact that he has “nine million abs” and could get any girl he wanted.
Balor most notably worked with Amore in NXT during the quarterfinals of the Dusty Rhodes Classic that saw Balor and Samoa Joe take on Amore and Big Cass.
Last night Time Square got a visit from a Bonafide G. Former WWE Superstar Enzo Amore broke his silence about what he’s been up to since leaving the company.
According to Enzo, he’s been in L.A. writing scripts, recording music in Kanye’s studio and been staying busy. He thanks the ‘Enzo army’ for all they’ve done.
Enzo claims that the fans have been doing research and keeping tabs on the accuser, reporting every relevant information to the Phoenix, Arizona Police. He even goes on to say that he didn’t even need a lawyer due to the support from his fans.
When the topic of returning back to wrestling and WWE came up, Enzo replied: “I’m just one man. You can ask me that question.”
Enzo went on to embrace the fans and enjoy the remaining evening of Memorial Day.
It seems time will tell what’s next for Enzo. He released a rap music video on Monday, which you can watch here.
Check out Enzo Amore’s Memorial Day appearance in New York City’s Times Square:
Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore has shown off the new venture of his life.
This venture has taken him away from pro wrestling and into the rap world. On Monday, May 28, 2018, Amore released a music video entitled “Phoenix” through World Star Hip Hop. The song has references to the rape allegations made against him.
The sports entertainment company was not aware of the rape allegations against Amore until January of this year once the media reached out to them for comments once the allegations went viral on Twitter. At the time, it was reported that officials approached him backstage and asked about it. Amore denied the allegations were true but he did acknowledge that he knew about the investigation that Phoenix Police launched back in October after meeting the accuser at a local hospital. This is when the sports entertainment company decided to suspend him. The feeling is that the company was upset with Amore due to him knowingly putting them in a bad position, which forced them to respond to media inquiries over rape allegations on what was one of the biggest TV days in company history. In terms of his suspension and later firing, the reason that they cut ties with him is not due to an internal belief that Enzo is guilty, but over the fact that Enzo failed to notify officials that he was being investigated. This was described as a situation where it was “the last straw” for Enzo after several incidents that brought him heat over the past year. After the rape allegations came out, there were just too many problems with Enzo over the past year and the decision was made to release him. It should be noted that the investigation against him has been closed and no charges were ever filed against him.

WWE is gearing up for the second annual UK Championship tournament, which has led to some speculation about the state of the 205 Live show. Some fans have been wondering if the UK series will replace 205 Live on the WWE Network, but that’s not the case.
Triple H recently stated that viewership for 205 Live has actually been up lately. The show has been stabilized after a rocky time surrounding Enzo Amore’s departure. Following the introduction of Drake Maverick as 205 Live GM and an overhauled approach to the show’s presentation, the show is in better shape than it has been and will continue for the foreseeable future.
AJ Lee Not Returning To WWE Any Time Soon
There was also a rumor on if the Second-Longest Divas Champion, AJ Lee were to return back to the WWE due to the new Fox television deal. Mike Johnson of PWInsdier recently addressed her status:
“They aren’t going to plan that far out in advance. It’s just not how this business works. AJ Lee mentioned in her book that she chose to get out of the ring due to physical issues. It was not an issue with CM Punk and WWE although she probably felt like the child in the middle of a divorce at that point. She was already planning the next stage of her life, beyond professional wrestling. I don’t see her ever coming back.”
Back in January, Enzo was accused of sexual assault from a woman that occurred around October 2017 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was released from the WWE due to his failure to inform the company about the investigation. Enzo would deny these allegations and would go silent on social media for some time. It wouldn’t be until this month that the police of Phoenix, Arizona would drop the investigation due to insignificant evidence.
It’s going to be interesting to see what Enzo will say now that he’s a free man and what’s to come for the realest guy in the room.
Stay tuned for more news regarding Enzo’s announcement.
Mickie James Talks About Her Wrestling and Music Career
WWE Superstar Mickie James was recently interviewed by Fredericksburg.com where she talked about her love for both music and pro-wrestling.
“I’ve always wanted to sing so badly, but I didn’t think it was something that was possible for me. Plus I didn’t think I was good at it. … It was: ‘Do I want music or do I want wrestling?’ I wanted both. I’m good at wrestling and I love it with all my heart. I’ve devoted so much of my life and career to it that I wasn’t ready to let it go. I didn’t want to let music go either because I felt like it allowed me to express a different side of me that people don’t know. Music is so soulful and you’re a bit more vulnerable.”
Enzo Amore Still Teasing Announcement
As noted before, Enzo Amore is going to reveal his future plans in an announcement on Monday and has been teasing it since the past week. Amore is continuing to tease his announcement on Twitter where he will be “breaking” his “social media silence” at the Times Square.
Former WWE Superstar Enzo Amore (Eric Arndt) will be making his first public appearance since his departure from the company back in January.
The former Cruiserweight Champion posted a photo and message announcing that he will be in Times Square in New York City next Monday night at 9pm to thank his supporters.
“I want to engage, interact, and personally thank all of you who ever supported me! It was you who wished me luck on my future endeavors,” he wrote. “But I won’t need luck … just you.”
Enzo Amore’s WWE Departure
Amore was suspended and later released from WWE following an allegation of sexual assault. The alleged victim accused him of assaulting her at a Phoenix hotel in October 2017 while she was under the influence of drugs.
He vehemently denied the allegations, but reportedly did not speak with WWE about the situation until it went public. He was released on January 23rd.
Last week, Amore and issued a statement (via his attorney) announcing the case had been dropped due to insufficient evidence.
Enzo Amore revealed on Twitter recently that no charges will be filed against him and the investigation of sexual assault allegations has been closed.
The statement he posted also revealed that the former WWE Star will be returning to the Entertainment Industry and since then people have been discussing if Impact Wrestling could be his next destination.
During a recent media call, Impact’s co-executive vice president Don Callis was asked about the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion possibly joining their company.
Replying to it, the Impact Official claimed that talents are evaluated based on needs and what they are looking to do and said that you should never say never:
“Never say never. You evaluate talent based on need and what you’re looking to do. We have a long term plan for how we engage with talent in terms of who’s gonna be on the roster, what roster spots we need filled, etcetera. So you know… as with any other talent, I think time will tell.”
While this answer hardly reveals whether the company has any interest in Enzo or not, the statement does not end any possibilities either.
So while it may not happen in the foreseeable future, there is a chance that Enzo Amore will end up working for the company formerly known as TNA somewhere down the line.
Discussion: Do you think Impact should also hire Enzo after hiring another former Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section.
Former WWE superstar Enzo Amore will not face any charges after he was accused of sexual assault back in January.
Amore — real name Eric Arndt — was released from the WWE after the allegations first surfaced, where the former cruiserweight champion was accused of assaulting a woman at a Phoenix hotel in October 2017 while she was under the influence of drugs. At the time, Amore was the WWE cruiserweight champion prior to his release.
Phoenix Police confirmed on Wednesday that following an investigation into the matter, no charges would be filed against Amore although the case could be re-opened if new evidence comes to light.
“The Phoenix Police Department recently informed Mr. Arndt and his counsel that there is insufficient evidence in this matter to warrant any criminal charges, that the matter will not be transferred to the County Attorney for prosecution and that their investigation and case is closed. No charges were ever filed. The matter is closed,” Amore’s attorney Tom Cargill wrote in a press release on Wednesday.
Following his release from WWE, Amore fell out of the public spotlight but according to his attorney, he is already working on his next venture ‘in the entertainment industry’ but there’s no word yet if he plans on resuming his professional wrestling career.
WWE Hall of Famer Booker T discussed the new generation of wrestlers in the WWE as well as the retirement of Enzo Amore from professional wrestling and how Big Cass is going to do without him on the recent episode of his podcast, Heated Conversations. Booker also gave his thoughts on Jinder Mahal’s transformation and more. Here are a few highlights from the podcast.
On Enzo Amore’s release from the WWE and subsequent retirement:
“If you can’t make it in the locker room, you have no chance to make it in the ring. Those guys are gonna make sure that you don’t make it. You’re not gonna have a good match ever if those guys don’t like you. In this business it takes two to tango…”
“If Enzo Amore is going to retire from the business, I think it’s very, very unfortunate first and foremost. I’ve said it many, many times.” … “If you put yourself in a situation like this, something is bound to happen.”
On what Big Cass should do now that his partner is gone from the WWE:
“I don’t think Big Cass is a main event guy right now. I wouldn’t want to put him in that position right now – I don’t think he’s ready for that role right now. Not just from a physical standpoint, from a mental standpoint. The fans want to see you work at a certain level, and you’ve got to work your butt off to get to that level.”
“The guys that are making the roster strong, these guys are technically sound. They go out there, they know how to create drama as far as the crowd goes. They know how to bring the crowd into the ring, and that’s what I think Big Cass needs to work on a bit more. What we call, Shakespeare.”
“I’m gonna make it my personal mission to get Big Cass to that place where we need him to be as far as being a main event prospect.”
On Jinder Mahal’s transformation:
“When Jinder Mahal came back to WWE he was transformed – he was reincarnated. He was almost a totally different guy than we saw with 3MB. His strength seems to neutralize these guys, to where Jinder has to really go out and do nothing in a match, and people look at him and think ‘wow, this guy has evolved.”

31-year-old Eric Arndt, better known to wrestling fans as Enzo Amore, posted to his Instagram account yesterday. The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion has been silent on social media since his release from the company in January.
All of Enzo’s previous Instagram posts, including his videos from the Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor fight, have been taken down. The following post is all that remains:
The image of boots being hung up could be Enzo expressing that he is “hanging up the boots”. The last time Enzo posted to Twitter was January 23rd, 2018. The post only includes a statement from his lawyer.
Enzo has also changed his bio on Instagram to read: “Believe half of what you see, and none of what you hear.”
After news broke of the pending investigation into an alleged sexual assault committed by Enzo, WWE suspended and then fired him. It is speculated that the company released him for failing to notify them of the pending investigation.
Enzo’s WWE career lasted a little under 5 years. He debuted in NXT on May 22nd, 2013. He was quickly paired with Colin Cassady and the Enzo and Big Cass tag-team was born. Although the team would never win the NXT tag-team championships, they were quite popular. Enzo and Cass were called up to the main roster in 2016.
The following year, Enzo and Cass were split up with Enzo remaining babyface and Cass turning heel. An injury to Big Cass led to Enzo turning heel as well and joining the cruiserweight division on 205 Live. An attempt was made to build the show around Enzo but was later abandoned after his release in January of 2018.
– Rey Mysterio was backstage at WrestleMania, according to PWInsider. Mysterio made a surprise appearance at the Royal Rumble in January and is rumored to be in talks with the company about a return. Mysteiro had been scheduled to compete at New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Strong Style Evolved event last month, but had to withdraw from the match due to injury. He did appear and assured the fans he’ll be wrestling for NJPW soon.
– Over the past week there was a rumor that Enzo Amore’s accuser had with drawn her charges against the former WWE Superstar. Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet reached out to Phoenix police, who told him that the case is still open.
– Popular Twitter account @Totaldivaseps joked that the video sequence that aired as part of Daniel Bryan’s WrestleMania entrance appeared to be shot by Matt Hardy’s Vanguard1 drone. Woken Matt took notice and stated that Vanguard1 gifted Bryan one of its Aerial Assault Robots.
Before Enzo Amore was released earlier this week, he had been involved in a program with Nia Jax. Enzo and Nia were becoming something of an odd-couple love story on 205 Live and Raw. The storyline was a focal point of the 205 Live house shows which took place this weekend.
The events of this week involving Enzo Amore seemingly put Nia’s new storyline in jeopardy. It appears now, however, Nia has developed eyes for another member of the cruiserweight division.
With Enzo Amore’s departure, other changes are coming to 205 Live. On the most recent episode, Daniel Bryan announced plans for a GM to be assigned to the brand. A report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has since reported the idea has been tossed around before, with Summer Rae being someone the company had once thought of for the role.
This past week on 205 Live, a match between Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali is getting solid reviews.
The story of Enzo Amore being accused of rape became viral on Monday and WWE had terminated the contract of the former Cruiserweight Champion by Tuesday. A lot of people were surprised by the quickness of these events and many fans wondered if the company had some information on the incident which wasn’t made public.
However, if reports from PWinsider are to be believed, this wasn’t the case and Enzo was let go by the company because Officials were furious with him. According to the site, WWE was unaware of these accusations until Monday and they got to know about it when media members reached to them for comments on the story.
Upon learning it, Officials confronted Enzo backstage about the allegations. The Cruiserweight Star denied the accusations were true but admitted that he was aware of the investigation by Phoenix Police. For those who don’t know, Phoenix Police had launched an investigation back in October against Amore after meeting the alleged victim at a local hospital.
The company then sent out a press release suspending the 205 Live Star and sent him away from Barclays Center over the fact that he failed to notify them about the investigation earlier. Regarding his firing, it’s being said that it didn’t happen because of the belief of him being guilty.
Instead, Officials released Amore because they were angry with him as the whole incident put them in a bad spot. They had to respond to media queries over rape accusations on a current Champion and it all happened during one of the company’s biggest TV days.
Enzo Amore already had heat due to several incidents over the past year and this incident was described as the ‘last straw’. After this, there were too many problems with the former WWE Star in the past year hence the decision was made to let him go.
Phoenix Police is still investigating the matter but as of this writing, there are no changes in the case. The accuser Philomena Sheahan recently spoke to TMZ and gave some details on the alleged incident. Meanwhile, Enzo has released a statement denying all the accusations.
YouTube user, “ImSamCook”, has posted a video claiming to be “former best friends” with Enzo Amore’s accuser. Enzo’s accuser does appear in some of imSamCook’s earlier videos but it is not clear what their relationship is.
In the video, he claims to have gone on her phone and obtained text messages from Enzo’s accuser. He then runs down the timeline of events as he knows them.
Enzo Amore was suspended shortly after the story came out and was later released yesterday. There has been some speculation that his release was given due to failing to inform WWE of the investigation but that has not been confirmed.
We noted before how Enzo Amore was suspended by WWE prior to this week’s Raw following accusations of rape. Now it’s being reported that his suspension forced the company to scrap and rewrite an entire segment of the show.
Per Pwinsider Enzo was originally supposed to face Goldust in a one on one match during the 25th Anniversary episode. The match was scheduled to take place during the third hour of the show.
The Zo Train were penned to interfere in this bout and attack the Bizarre One leading to the return of Dudley Boyz, making the save. Then The Dudleys would have put someone through the table and the segment was expected to end with them celebrating.
However, the suspension of Amore forced the company to change this angle in last minute and as seen this past Monday Night, the Dudley Boyz appeared during a tag team match between Titus O’Neil & Apollo Crews and Heath Slater & Rhyno.
Due to this change, Goldust was removed from the show completely and the members of the Zo Train were sent to Manhattan Center to work in Dark Matches as needed.
As reported before, Enzo Amore has since been released from the company altogether. You can read the statement he sent out regarding the rape allegations here.
