Sarita Sidelined Following Scary Fall, Buck Takes Shot At TNA

— Sarita suffered bruised ribs after taking a scary fall during a two out of three falls tag team match at Arena Mexico on November 22, 2011. She will be unable to compete for a few weeks as a result of the injury.

Sarita, who appears as Dark Angel for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre, slipped on the top rope while attempting to dive and fell flat on her face onto the wooden floor. She was placed on a stretcher while the match continued and immediately hospitalized. The TNA Knockout has not competed since the incident.

— Former TNA Wrestling talent Nick Massie (a/k/a Jeremy Buck) knocked his former employer online while watching last week’s episode of Impact Wrestling.

He wrote on Facebook, “I watched TNA last night…. I guess God only knows why and wow. The tag division consist of only 3 teams now or what? We got out at the right time for sure.”

Nick and brother Matt (a/k/a Max Buck) parted ways with TNA Wrestling in July after requesting their release. The brother duo revealed in subsequent interviews that the request stemmed from monetary issues, while also venting their frustrations with TNA’s booking.

Generation Me Works WWE Tryout Prior To RAW

Generation Me WWE Bound?

As you’ve read here in recent weeks, the head of WWE’s new talent development division, Triple H, is very interested in reviving the company’s tag team division. (Read More)

An insider source confirmed to us that WWE is interested in signing TNA tag team Beer Money – and now it appears another former TNA tag team could be headed to WWE soon.

Former TNA stars Nick and Matt Jackson (The Young Bucks, formerly Generation Me in TNA) received a WWE tryout on Monday afternoon prior to RAW from San Diego.

The high-flying young team worked a few matches in front of the WWE producers (not dark matches).

We are awaiting word on how the tryout went, but we’ll be sure to post a follow up as soon as we hear something.

Nick and Matt were among several other California based talents who received WWE tryouts during the company’s latest trip out to the west coast.

What do you guys think? Would you like to see The Young Bucks / Generation Me in WWE as part of a revived tag team division? Comment below and tell us what you think.

Generation Me Respond To RVD’s Dismissive Interview Comments

The Young Bucks, formerly known as Generation Me in TNA Wrestling, have responded to Rob Van Dam’s dismissive comments towards them in an interview last week with the Miami Herald.

With more than 20 years of success in the wrestling industry, one would think the young upstarts of today would line up to seek the master of the Five-Star Frog Splash for advice or feedback. RVD said in the interview that’s not the case.

“I feel like I get respect, but not in that way,” Van Dam said. “I’m open to it. Most of the guys, I don’t know if they don’t feel welcome to ask me or any of the other veterans or what. That is probably an issue that we have is the young guys should ask some of the older guys. They should be saying, ‘Hey, watch my match. Let me know what I can improve on.’

“That never happens enough. Some of the young guys who are or were there, I don’t want to mention any names. There were two young guys who just left and looked like they were out of high school. The whole time they were there, they never introduced themselves or shook my hand. Things are way different than they used to be.”

Matt Jackson (a/k/a Max Buck) has since responded to Van Dam via Twitter: “I never introduced myself to (Rob Van Dam)? Then who was that guy who wore jean shorts & Golds Gym tank-tops, that I met & always said hi to?

“I’m a 26 yr old, married man w/a child on the way & have been wrestling 8 yrs around the world. I’m not a kid but thx for the compliment!”

Brother Nick (a/k/a Jeremy Buck) added, “Apparently we’re young guys straight out of high school who don’t respect veterans. Well that’s what RVD says at least. Unreal!”

He then said in response to a fan, “We said hello to him many times. We always showed him respect. If anything he didn’t show us or the boys respect because he’s always changed in his own locker room.”

Matt made light of the situation in his Twitter bio, which now reads: “Alleged ‘big-leaguer’ of RVD, one half of The Young Bucks (TNA’s Generation Me).”

Jeff Hardy Court Update, Generation Me’s TNA Departure

– Jeff Hardy’s next scheduled court date in North Carolina is September 8th. The case was believed to be coming to an end in late June but has been pushed back another three months. Hardy was arrested back on September 11th of 2009.

– Former TNA star Max Buck of the Generation Me tag team had this to say about his team’s recent departure from the company:

“Simply put: If we weren’t wrestling, we weren’t making money…And a guys gotta eat. Obviously, if you’re a fan of the show, you probably hadn’t seen us for quite sometime. Aside from the television program, TNA also runs live events around the country. In 2011, we’d only been on a handful of those, as well. Now, don’t get me wrong. When you’re booked a bunch, you’re making pretty good money, which was the case for us in our first year with the company. Not so much, this year.”

TNA Signs Kid Kash, More Details On Generation Me’s Release

— Former X Division Champion Kid Kash announced on his Twitter account this evening that he has signed a contract with TNA Wrestling.

Kash returned to the organization on the June 16 episode of Impact Wrestling. He lost to Austin Aries in a Triple Threat Match that also included Jimmy Rave.

— Regarding Generation Me’s departure from TNA Wrestling, the duo requested that they be released from their contracts on Sunday prior to Destination X.

Generation Me told colleagues at the last set of Impact Wrestling tapings in late June that they would be seeking their release from the organization. A contributing factor to their decision was not being booked on house shows; they only worked three tours this year.

Once again known as The Young Bucks, they are accepting booking inquiries via Highriskwrestlin@aol.com.

According to TNA sources, the company is planning to part ways with several more talents in the coming weeks as a cost cutting measure. We have the names of several more stars who are likely done with TNA, but are awaiting confirmation before reporting them here. Stay tuned.

Heat On Generation Me, Dreamer Praises WWE Segment, More

— TNA Wrestling officials were understanding of the travel issues that prevented Generation Me from making their scheduled appearance at last week’s Against All Odds pay-per-view. However, they were not pleased with the duo relaying their predicament on Twitter. Management feel Max and Jeremy should have allowed them to come up with a replacement plan and announce it at once rather than sharing details of their travel problems online.

The next day, Max took a shot at Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson while watching his WWE return, writing on Twitter: “The Rock would not pass a wellness policy test.” The comment was later deleted.

— Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s return to WWE garnered a rave review from Tommy Dreamer. He wrote yesterday on Twitter: “I just saw the Rock’s return & the 2/21/11 video. AMAZING. If anyone wants 2 know why wrestling is the best. Watch that. Gave me goosebumps!”

– The X Division Steel Asylum Match is tentatively scheduled to return at Bound for Glory.

– TNA officials considered multiple locations for this year’s Bound for Glory pay-per-view event, but ultimately selected Daytona Beach, Florida in an effort to keep expenses relatively low. Numerous company employees live in Florida and are thus able to drive to the Ocean Center, the event’s venue. Other factors include building cost and belief that it would draw most if not all of the Impact! Zone regulars.
