WWE Hall of Famer Paul Orndorff appeared on Inside The Ropes on Thursday night and slammed Bret Hart, Ric Flair and Ultimate Warrior (audio available here) . Highlights are are as follows:

Rob Van Dam beat Jeff Hardy and Mr. Anderson in a Three-Way Match at Tuesday’s Impact Wrestling taping in Orlando, Florida (airing this Thursday on Spike TV) to become the No. 1 Contender to the World Heavyweight Championship. He will face Bobby Roode at Sacrifice, which takes place May 13 in Orlando, Florida.

The show kicked off with Hardy and Anderson confronting Roode and staking their claim for his title. Impact Wrestling General Manager Hulk Hogan appeared and made a match for the No. 1 Contender’s spot with Hardy, Anderson and Van Dam.

Kurt Angle stated on Twitter that he will face AJ Styles at Sacrifice. This is a rematch from Tuesday’s Impact Wrestling taping.

Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke said on Twitter that she will be on hand for tonight’s TNA Lockdown pay-per-view event in Nashville, Tennessee. Since her father’s arrival to TNA Wrestling over two years ago, it’s been speculated that she would eventually assume an on-camera role. When asked Saturday whether she has plans to join the Knockouts division, she remarked, “Knockout division? I’m about 2 feet taller than all em. It just wouldn’t be fair lol.”

Hogan told British newspaper The Sun that WWE has tried several times to get her to follow in her father footsteps and become a wrestler.

“The WWE have told me that if I ever want to become a wrestler all I need to do is walk through the door and they’ll give me a job straight away,” Hogan said three years ago. “They are always like, ‘Hey Brooke when are you gonna put on some spandex and get in the ring?’”

So what’s stopping her from becoming a wrestler?

In a series of messages posted Wednesday evening, “Big Poppa Pump” blasts Hulk Hogan for deeming Bobby Roode “not ready” in a radio interview days before his heavily promoted World Heavyweight Championship match against Kurt Angle at Bound For Glory.

“Nah, he’s not ready. He’s not the next guy,” Hogan said of Roode to Busted Open in October. “Ya’ know, they might think he is. Dixie Carter might think he is. The whole world might think he is. He’s not the next guy. If I had to bet money on anybody and really be serious about betting money on anybody, I’d say Jeff Hardy is the next guy if he keeps his act together. Um, that’s what you gotta to have, man. This is much more than being a wrestler, this is crossing barriers, medias, ya’ know media barriers, and, and entertainment barriers of all kind. In a move that could mark the end of Scott Steiner’s two decade plus reign as a mainstream wrestler, the multi-time champion was released from his contract with TNA Wrestling last week. “Big Poppa Pump” slammed the organization’s creative direction Monday afternoon on his Twitter account in response to the termination.

“Can somebody send tna’s booking team of pritchard hogan (and) bischoff video’s from ring ka king..booking hogan in a sex tape wont help ratings..what an embarassment to TNA (and) spike tv. Brother…” he wrote via text.

The former World Heavyweight Champion continued his verbal onslaught of his former employer and its creative figure heads late into the night with the following messages:

— After being excluded from the last set of Impact Wrestling tapings, Angelina Love stated today on Twitter that she will appear on this week’s shows. She has not appeared for TNA since February 27.

To correct an earlier report, Sarita will be on hand for this week’s show (according to her official Facebook page). She is being erroneously advertised for a CMLL event tonight in Puebla, Mexico.

Tonight at WrestleMania XXVIII in Sun Life Stadium, WWE Champion CM Punk will defend the WWE Championship against Chris Jericho. Former WWE Superstar Ultimate Warrior believes The Straight Edge Superstar will own tonight’s show.

He tweeted Sunday afternoon, “WM 28…time for WWE Superstars of today to shine. Feel THEIR power. All of them warriors for today. Watch @CMPunk OWN it. Always Believe, W.”

Warrior thinks highly of Punk as he has praised his character and efforts several times on the microblogging website. By the same token, the WWE Superstar frequently acknowledges that he is a fan of Warrior. He tweeted a photo last week of a WWE title belt Warrior had autographed.

Today also marks as the twenty-two year anniversary of Warrior dethroning Hulk Hogan as WWF Champion at WrestleMania VI. He addressed the event after a Twitter user said he couldn’t believe it’s been exactly twenty-two years since that momentous day.

Warrior wrote, “Believe it. Time stops for no one. Heroes use it wisely.”

— TNA Wrestling President Dixie Carter congratulated Ric Flair on his record setting second induction into the WWE Hall of Fame, which will take place tonight in Miami, Florida as he is enshrined alongside select members of The Four Horsemen (Arn Anderson, Barry Windham, JJ Dillon and Tully Blanchard).

She tweeted Saturday afternoon, “Proud of Ric Flair and his 2nd WWE HOF induction. Have a great weekend buddy!!! WOOOOOO.”

— Sting said the Twitter feedback of Hulk Hogan being named the General Manager of Impact Wrestling on Thursday has been very positive. He added, “Hulkamania! Greatest of all time! Glad to have you back Brother!”

— Figure Four Weekly writer Bryan Alvarez stated Friday afternoon on Twitter that a ‘big name’ is in Miami, Florida for this weekend’s WrestleMania XXVIII festivities.

“So there is a big name here in Miami this weekend. #WrestleMania,” he wrote.
