Hulk Hogan On Reconciling With Macho Man Before His Death

Hulk Hogan and “Macho Man” Randy Savage had an on-again off-again friendship both on-screen and off. Hogan was recently interviewed by WWE.com about his year-long angle with Savage from WrestleMania IV to WrestleMania V. During the discussion, Hogan talked about having reconciled with his former Mega Powers teammate before his death.

“It was so tough when we had that blow-up when he got divorced. He didn’t want to have anything to do with me for eight years. I just thank God that we got back together before he passed away,” Hogan said during the interview.

Hogan then detailed the story of him and Savage reconciling just a few months before Savage died. Savage died on May 20th, 2011 at the age of 58. He suffered a heart attack and crashed his Jeep Wrangler into a tree.

“We ran into each other at a doctor’s office. I was on my seventh or eighth back surgery,” Hogan said of what sparked their reconciliation.

“We talked on the phone a couple of times,” Hogan continued. “I invited him over to have a barbeque, and really got back on track, which was cool. Later, I was with Lanny, his brother, at an independent wrestling show. He told me their mom wasn’t doing so well with [Randy’s father] Angelo passing away. So we had planned on having a barbeque at her house — because I got along well with Randy’s mom — and try to cheer her up. So, Lanny and I called Randy from the arena. Three days later, he had the heart attack. It was crazy.”

Jim Ross on Hulk Hogan’s nWo Heel Turn – “It Was Going To Be a No Brainer at Some Point”

WWE Hall of Famer and AEW Commentator Jim Ross recently discussed a number of intriguing topics on the Grilling JR podcast. A recent episode of the audio show saw JR and co-host Conrad Thompson look at the 7.6.98 episode of WCW Monday Nitro.

This episode of the WCW flagship show was hugely significant, as it featured Goldberg challenging for and winning the WCW World Championship against Hollywood Hulk Hogan.

Conrad would ask JR about Hogan on the show, asking if he ever thought that the massively popular Hogan character from the 80s would transition so well to being the biggest heel in the wrestling business in the late 90s.

Jim Ross on Hollywood Hogan

“Well I thought at the end of the day? It would be timely” Jim Ross began on the podcast. “I thought that probably it was going to be a no brainer at some point…if done correctly. He [Hogan] was a galvanising figure, very polarising to a lot of fans. So, I wasn’t shocked about it quite frankly. Hulk you know, he was all over the territories over the early part of his career, so he understood the psychology and the difference that it takes to make a great babyface, which he was; and then subsequently what is took to become a great villain, at which he did a hell of a job.”

Eric Bischoff Comments On When Hulk Hogan Sued A Cereal Company

Hulk Hogan once filed suit against Post Foods, the manufacturer of Cocoa Pebbles. The cereal once marketed a character named “Bulk Boulder” in commercials that was portrayed as a professional wrestler. The two sides settled out of court in 2010. No financial terms of the settlement were ever revealed but the commercial was pulled.

On a recent episode of the 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff commented on the suit.

“One of the things that people don’t realize is when you have a trademark, you have to protect it,” Bischoff said.

“If you, through your attorneys, don’t take some kind of action, affirmative action in response to it that is, in effect, abandoning your trademark.”

“Had Hulk Hogan and his attorneys not protected that trademark, they could have easily lost the rights to that trademark by not defending it.”

“I don’t think that Hulk Hogan was looking for a billion-dollar payday or any of those things. I think he just wanted a cease & desist and prove to the USPTO.gov group that he was indeed protecting his trademark.”

In 2013, Post signed a sponsorship deal with WWE Superstar, John Cena.

Tony Khan Says Hulk Hogan & Ex-Wife Linda Are Banned From AEW Shows

Don’t expect to see Hulk Hogan or his ex-wife Linda at an AEW event any time soon.

Linda Hogan posted tweeted a message Tuesday afternoon that many are calling racist. In response to the ongoing protests about George Floyd’s death and police brutality towards African Americans, she tweeted:

“watching the looting , it’s all afro Americans, not sure how robbing and stealing set the record straight but if they want to be heard they need to be civilized.”

The tweet has since been deleted, but not before it made waves online and trended worldwide. AEW President Tony Khan was among the people who did not take kindly to Linda Hogan’s viewpoint.

Tony Khan replied to Linda and informed her she is now prohibited from attending AEW shows. In doing so, Khan also revealed that her ex-husband, Hulk, is also on the banned list.

Hulk Hogan was persona-non-grata for a few years in WWE as a result of his 2015 racism scandal, but was welcomed back with open arms by the promotion late 2018.

Jim Ross Comments On Hulk Hogan Winning The Title At WrestleMania 9

The main event of WrestleMania 9 was Yokozuna vs Bret Hart yet somehow, Hulk Hogan ended up the winner. Jim Ross recently addressed arguably the most confusing WrestleMania main of all time on an episode of his Grilling JR podcast.

“I knew that the plans were for Hogan to leave the show as the champion,” JR said on the podcast. “But he wasn’t even in a match. So, to tell you I knew what was going to happen would be a lie. I didn’t know what was going to happen.”

JR continued, I knew in general terms that by the end of the night when the sunset on WrestleMania 9 that Hogan would be leaving as the champion but I didn’t know the fortuitous route that we were going to take to get there.”

Hogan came out at the end of Hart vs Yokozuna and challenged the new champion. According to JR, Hart and Yokozuna’s match on the show was better than what was expected.

“Thanks to Bret and Yoko, they made chicken salad out of some chicksh*t,” JR said about their match. “It was a respite that we needed and I give credit to Bret Hart and Yokozuna for that. They always had amazing chemistry. I could watch them work all day long. Bret knew exactly how to work with Yoko to amplify and eventuate Yoko’s size and strength advantage.”

JR’s comments can be heard in the player below:

Chris Hemsworth Excited To Play Hulk Hogan In Netflix Biopic

Last year, Chris Hemsworth was announced for the role of Hulk Hogan in a biopic on the famous wrestler’s life. The film will be directed by Todd Phillips, who is coming off of having directed 2019’s “Joker.”

Hemsworth was asked about the biopic recently in an interview with Screenrant. According to Hemsworth, he doesn’t know much about the film as of yet.

“Look, I haven’t read a script yet,” Hemsworth said. “I know it’s being written now and worked on. I know very little about that. It’s sort of in the process now.”

Hemsworth would continue to say that he’s excited about the role, however, and is interested in the world of wrestling.

“I’m just fascinated by that world, and I think they’re pretty keen to show a side of the world that people haven’t seen before. I’m as intrigued as you are.”

A script is currently in production. Scott Silver (Joker, 8 Mile) and John Pollono (This is Us) are writers on the project.

Hogan is a consultant for the film. It will be released on Netflix. Although not much is known at this point about the film, it is expected to focus on Hogan’s early years and rise to fame.

The Young Bucks Believe Chris Jericho Is AEW’s Version Of Hulk Hogan

The Young Bucks (Nick and Matt Jackson) did an interview with Sports Illustrated to talk about a wide range of topics.

During the interview, the AEW executives gave high praise to the inaugural AEW World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho.

Nick Jackson stated, “I always call [Jericho] our Hulk Hogan. He’s done it all, and there is something about that. Even though he has been in the business for 30 years or so, he still wants to give back and get characters over. You never see that.”

Matt Jackson chimed in by noting how most wrestlers want to be over, and they don’t care about anybody else. He thinks that is the prevailing attitude in pro wrestling. He thinks the mentality is that wrestlers want others to do good but not as good as them.

“Jericho wants everyone to be elevated. We made the right call.”

Matt praised Jericho for helping establish guys like Darby Allin, Jungle Boy, and Scorpio Sky. He stated that Jericho watches their matches as well and people don’t realize he’s the guy that pulls us aside.

Matt added that Jericho will tell them what they did well and what they could do better. He also stated, “We don’t have enough of those guys in the business.”

The Elite (Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, Adam Page, and Matt Hardy) are currently feuding with The Inner Circle that is led by Jericho on AEW Dynamite.

Hulk Hogan Reacts To Ronda Rousey’s “Work Yourself Into A Shoot” Tweet

Despite not having been in WWE for over a year, Ronda Rousey is one of the most talked-about stars in wrestling at the moment. Rousey’s comments on Jackass star Steve-O’s podcast recently where she referred to wrestling matches as “fake fights” garnered strong reactions from some in the WWE locker room.

After public comments by Lana, Nia Jax, and Alexa Bliss, Rousey Tweeted out a statement about the difference between real MMA fights and choreographed wrestling performances.

Rousey then referenced a famous Tweet by Hulk Hogan when signing off social media for the night

Hulk Hogan Co-Signs Rousey’s “Work Yourself Into A Shoot” Tweet

“Wow that’s how I need to wake up every morning instead of coffee, marks always work themselves into a shoot especially when they are in the ring ,truer words have never been spoken, yo Travis love u guys. HH”

Rousey then responded:

“Thank you Balgrin!! I learned from the best!!” Rousey’s reply reads. “the Browsey House loves you!!??”

WWE Reportedly Contacted Hulk Hogan For WrestleMania 36 Appearance

WWE had contacted Hulk Hogan for an appearance at WrestleMania 36 from the Performance Center but the two parties couldn’t agree to a deal, according to Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

While the WWE Hall Of Famer has been vocal about wanting a retirement match in the company, The officials wanted the Hulkster to make an appearance as a special attraction and cut a promo, instead of being part of an in-ring segment or a match.

However, the two sides couldn’t agree on the financial terms of the deal and the plans for Hogan’s appearance at the Show Of Shows from Performance Center fell through.

Hulk Hogan was originally expected to be inducted into the Hall Of Fame as part of nWo with Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Sean Waltman during the WrestleMania weekend.

The induction ceremony alongside other shows planned for the grand weekend was cancelled due to the coronavirus and the company moved forward with only the PPV.

There is no word on what the company is planning for the Hall Of Fame now but speculation is that the ceremony could be held during the SummerSlam weekend in August later this year.

WrestleMania 36 was moved to the Performance Center due to coronavirus pandemic and the company then turned it into a two-nights streaming event.

Hulk Hogan Shares His Thoughts On Coronavirus Pandemic

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has shared his thoughts on the current coronavirus pandemic. Taking to his Instagram, Hogan uploaded his feelings on the situation alongside a black and white photo of himself praying during his Hulkamania days. The post itself is deeply rooted in Hogan’s religious beliefs.

Comparing the current pandemic to the plague that affected Egypt in the Bible, Hogan explained how “God has taken away everything we worship.”

He extrapolated his point, noting how he believes God has taken away the things people have chosen to worship:

“God said, ‘you want to worship athletes, I will shut down the stadiums. You want to worship musicians, I will shut down Civic Centers. You want to worship actors, I will shut down theaters. You want to worship money, I will shut down the economy and collapse the stock market.”

Hogan added how if people don’t want to go to church, he will make it where the population cannot go. He wrote how if people humbled themselves, prayed, and sought out God by turning away from their “wicked ways”, God will hear them. According to Hogan, God would then “forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Hulk Hogan Shares What People Should Be Focusing On

Hulk Hogan suggested that maybe a vaccine isn’t what’s needed during this time. He postulated that instead, perhaps, people should use this time in self-isolation for a personal revival—one where people “focus on the ONLY thing in the world that really matters. Jesus.”

Hulk Hogan was due to enter the WWE Hall of Fame once again during WrestleMania week. He was set to be inducted alongside his nWo stablemates. The coronavirus pandemic, however, forced WWE to change their WrestleMania plans. The Hall of Fame ceremony will reportedly now take place during SummerSlam week.

Hulk Hogan Talks WrestleMania 18 Match Against The Rock

Hulk Hogan recently appeared in a YouTube video talking about his WrestleMania 18 match. The Rock also recently commented on the match during a Q&A session on social media.

According to Hogan, the match provided some unique challenges for him.

“When I went back, they wanted me to go down to Miami and practice the match,” Hogan said. “Andre was the one who raised me and his thing was this is who is going to win or lose and whatever happens in the match, don’t worry.”

Hogan wasn’t used to practicing his matches and he didn’t want to go through a full run through with bumps beforehand.

“Pat Patterson wanted me to go through the match and I said I can’t do that,” he continued. “If we go through this whole match here and I’m falling down and getting up and taking dropkicks and hooking on the top rope and going over, I’m going to get hurt.”

“They were cool enough that I didn’t have to go through the match, didn’t have to take any bumps,” he continued. “But I said ‘alright, let’s walk through this.'”

Hogan also talked about how they did everything they could to make him the heel leading up tpo the match but the WrestleMania crowd cheered him anyway.

“On the way out to the ring, I heard this mixture of turbulence and energy,” Hogan said. “It was like, it reminded me of WrestleMania III when I went out with Andre.”

The Rock On His Match Against Hulk Hogan

“About six months before the match happened, Vince McMahon came to me and said, ‘How do you feel about bringing Hulk Hogan back?’” recalled the Rock. “I think Hogan had left WWE on not so great terms. He asked, ‘How do you feel about bringing Hogan back?’

I said, ‘How does the locker room feel?’ He said, ‘I talked to a few locker room leaders and it’s mixed.’ I said, ‘I love it. I think having him back is intriguing and very selfishly, I would like to wrestle him.’ He said, ‘Funny you say that. I have a match in mind. You vs. Hogan at WrestleMania.’”

Hulk Hogan Reveals Bicep Injury, Shows Off New Look (Photo)

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has revealed he has suffered an unfortunate bicep injury. He shared the news via his Twitter account.

Hogan accompanied the news with a photograph. The image showcases he is now sporting a full beard rather than his iconic handlebar mustache and five o’clock shadow. In his post, he joked how this injury makes him and WWE Superstar Rusev “long lost brothers!”

“Both of my biceps have been torn at the insertions for 25yrs,today I tore my right bicep where it goes in at my front deltoid, well I guess Rusev and I are long lost brothers! BROTHER. HH damn it burns!!!”

Rusev saw Hulk Hogan’s message and responded, writing, “We are just a couple of Real [American Flag Emoji].” The Superstar recently debuted a new look himself having shaved his head and grown a full beard.

Hulk Hogan’s nWo Hall Of Fame Induction

Hulk Hogan will once again be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. He joins as part of the nWo alongside Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Sean Waltman. The nWo joins Jushin “Thunder” Liger, Batista, The Bella Twins, JBL and The British Bulldog in the Class of 2020.

The Hall of Fame ceremony was due to take place during WrestleMania week leading into the show this weekend. The coronavirus pandemic, however, has forced WWE to cancel and reschedule several events related to ‘Mania. The Hall of Fame will reportedly now take place during SummerSlam weekend.

Hulk Hogan Reaches Settlement In $110 Million Lawsuit Against Cox Radio And More

A confidential settlement has been reached in the $110 million lawsuit Hulk Hogan had brought in against Cox Radio, Cox DJs Mike “Cowhead” Calta and Matt “Spiceboy” Loyd, and a few other defendants, according to reports from BayNews9.

The WWE Hall Of Famer had accused the defendants of conspiring to leak his private sex tape with Heather Clem. Heather is the ex-wife of Bubba “The Love Sponge” Clem.

The tape in question is the same video which was leaked to National Enquirer in 2015 and led to the story of Hulk Hogan using a racial slur in the footage.

The story sparked a lot of controversy and the former World Champion lost several business contacts due to the debacle. He was even removed from the WWE Hall Of Fame in July 2015, before being reinstated in July 2018.

Hulk Hogan had originally filed a lawsuit against Gawker for publishing the tape. A Pinellas County jury found Gawker guilty of invading the WWE star’s privacy and ordered them to pay more than $140 million in damages in March 2016.

The site ended up going bankrupt and settled with Hogan for $31 million. The wrestling star had then filed a case against the other mentioned defendants, seeking the remainder of the balance, $110 million.

The defendants had denied the allegations made by the Hulkster and fought him in court for almost 4 years before quietly settling this week. The settlement was reportedly reached on Thursday. A jury tiral of the case was scheduled to begin in January 2021.

Bray Wyatt Interrupts A Returning Hulk Hogan On SmackDown

Hulk Hogan made his return to WWE SmackDown on FOX last night. His appearance on the show, however, was interrupted by the current WWE Universal Champion, Bray Wyatt.

Hogan’s appearance on the show was via satellite, similar to Goldberg’s last week. He was being interviewed by Michael Cole who asked him about the nWo’s upcoming induction into the WWE Hall of Fame, which will make him a two-time WWE HOF’er.

Hogan talked about his career highlights as a singles wrestler and his time with the nWo. He also talked about Bray Wyatt’s upcoming match with Goldberg at Super ShowDown, saying that Wyatt needs to be careful as he has faced Goldberg before and he knows how strong of a foe he is.

As they were talking about Wyatt, the lights flickered and the scene cut to the Firefly Fun House. Wyatt was spoofing the nWo, as the scene was monochrome, akin to the group’s old promos.

Wyatt mocked Hogan by playing with his title belt like a guitar. He joked that eating his vitamins and saying is prayers led him to the championship.

Hogan told Wyatt that he is a funny and entertaining guy, but his jokes won’t be funny when he gets in the ring with Goldberg. Getting into the ring with him is no joke.

Wyatt replied that he as a Fiend so he doesn’t need jokes when faces Goldberg in the ring. Wyatt then more or less threatened to add Hogan to his list of victims by holding up a framed picture of him with his eyes crossed out like his other victims’ pictures.

The segment ended with Hulk Hogan telling Bray Wyatt that he’ll see him in Tampa during the Hall of Fame. Wyatt then waved goodbye to Goldberg as the scene ended.

There has been speculation that WWE is teasing a match between Hogan and Wyatt and that it could take place at Mania, or at the next Saudi event after Super ShowDown.

Hulk Hogan Comments On nWo Hall of Fame Announcement

It was recently announced that the 2020 WWE Hall of Fame would be headlined with the induction of the nWo, comprised of Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Sean “X-Pac” Waltman. They join “The Animal” Batista in being honored with their inclusion next year.

Taking to Twitter, Hogan commented on the announcement, promising that they aren’t coming to take over the Hall of Fame. Instead, he’s looking forward to celebrating their run, get inducted and then party nWo style during WrestleMania weekend. This induction sees Hogan become a two-time WWE Hall of Famer.

“Very grateful that the four original nWo members HollyWood, Big Kev,X and Scott are getting inducted to the WWE HOF. We are not coming back to take over and change the business again,we are just coming back to celebrate our run ,get inducted and party NWO style at Wrestlemania.HH”

Triple H commented on their inclusion. He stated “Batista was one of the fastest rising stars ever in WWE with an incredible list of accolades, and the success of the nWo changed the course of sports entertainment history. It is only fitting that they all take their rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame.”

The 2020 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony takes place on Thursday, April 2nd at Amalie Arena in Tampa Bay, Florida as a part of WrestleMania 36 week. Tickets for the ceremony go on sale this Friday at Ticketmaster.com.

Eric Bischoff On Hulk Hogan Possibly Competing At WrestleMania 36

Hulk Hogan has been very vocal about wanting a retirement match in WWE ever since his reinstatement into the Hall Of Fame and many have been wondering if he could be thinking about wrestling a match at next year’s WrestleMania.

During his recent interview with Pancakes and Powerslams podcast, former SmackDown Executive Director Eric Bischoff talked about a number of things and he also revealed his thoughts on Hogan possibly wrestling at the Show of Shows.

The former WCW President first joked that the WWE Universe will like to see a match between Hogan and Undertaker and he then said that it’s hard for him to imagine this:

“God bless him, if that’s what he wants to do and he’s able to make that happen, I’d be the second happiest person in Florida that night. But it’s hard for me to imagine that he’ll be able to get ready for something like that. But who knows? He’s done it before.”

Hulk Hogan On Possibly Having One More Match

Hulk Hogan has been talking about possibly wrestling one more match in WWE for a while now and just recently, he had revealed that he talked to Vince McMahon about the same.

The Hulkster claimed that he doesn’t know if he could live with himself knowing that his last match was with TNA and he prays that he can fix it by having a match in WWE:

“I talked to Vince, and I said I really don’t know if I could live with myself knowing my last match was with TNA, If I can get fixed, I pray I can have one more match. I told Vince, ‘When I get through this back surgery, I’m going to get in the best shape of my life and we’re going to talk about me having one last retirement match.’ “

Hulk underwent the back surgery he mentioned in mid-Novemeber. However, the time table for his recovery is not known.

CM Punk’s Opinion of Hulk Hogan: “F**K Him” (Video)

CM Punk has been pretty open about his hatred towards Hulk Hogan over the years and it appears that his feelings haven’t changed since leaving WWE in 2014.

The former WWE Champion recently made an appearance in Windy City LIVE’s 2 Minute Warning YouTube show where he answered a number of questions.

Punk was first asked who his favorite wrestler growing up was and the former WWE star took the name of Hall Of Famer “Rowdy” Roddy Piper.

He was then asked about Hulk Hogan and answering the question, the Straight Edge Star revealed that he wasn’t a big Hogan fan growing up. When questioned about meeting the Hulkster, Punk admitted that he met him and said that he likes him even less now:

“I’ve met him, and I like him even less now, F–k him.”

Apart from this, CM Punk also talked about facing the Rock in a match, trading places with his dog for a day and his favorite movie.

You can check out CM Punk’s comments about Hulk Hogan in the clip below:

CM Punk and Hulk Hogan

This is not the first time CM Punk has said harsh words about the WWE Hall Of Famer and he previously trashed Hogan when the Hulkster was still in TNA. Back then, Punk said he had no faith that Hogan had any interest in helping TNA and was simply looking for a paycheck.

“I have zero faith in Hulk Hogan as a man who is what 60 years-old and tries to dress like he’s 18 and lives on the Jersey Shore,” Punk said. “For a guy I’ve never met, I’ve formulated enough opinions about him just from being around him and like his business acumen and stuff like that, I really trust that he’s not in this for TNA and he’s not in this for the business. He’s in this for himself.”

Hulk Hogan Back Surgery Update

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan underwent another back surgery this week and posted a photo on social media of the “hardware” that was removed from his body.

Hogan has reached the highest of heights in the world of professional wrestling. He’s the most famous wrestler of all time, but that success came with a price. The 62-year-old legend has sustained countless injuries and had undergone more than a half dozen back surgeries as a result of all the wear and tear.

During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Hogan revealed that he’d be undergoing his latest back surgery this week. Hogan said, “They’re going to fuse six levels together, so we’ll see how I feel after that.”

Hogan posted this photo of the metal screws and rods that were removed:

As of this writing, there’s no word yet on the recovery time from the surgery. We wish him a speedy recovery.

Hogan has previously pushed for one more match as he wants to end his in-ring career with WWE. In fact, he has gone on record by stating that he wants to have his last match against WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon.

This proposed match would see him take on the WWE boss at WrestleMania 36, which is slated to be held near where he lives.

Hulk Hogan Set To Undergo Back Surgery

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan is headed back for another surgery.

The legendary pro wrestler did an interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated in order to promote his appearance on ABC’s The Goldberg’s tonight (November 6).

This is where he revealed that he’s undergoing yet another back surgery next week.

“I’m going in for another back surgery next Tuesday,” said Hogan. “They’re going to fuse six levels together, so we’ll see how I feel after that.”

Hogan is no stranger to getting back surgeries. In fact, when he was a guest on the Steve Austin Show podcast hosted by “Stone Cold” earlier this year, he said going in for one back surgery only turned into having nine back surgeries. Once he did one surgery, it was “game over” for him.

Hulk Hogan Discusses Never Being Able To Wrestle Again

Hogan has previously pushed for one more match as he wants to end his in-ring career with WWE instead of his last official match taking place in TNA Wrestling.

For Hogan, whether or not he gets his wish granted, he just hopes that the memory of wrestling still connects to him for people.

“People have stuck by me, even when I made mistakes,” said Hogan. “Their love and loyalty have blown me away. The memory of wrestling still connects me to people. Hopefully it’s a memory that will live forever.”

Hulk Hogan Appearing On “The Goldbergs” on ABC This Week

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan is set to appear on this week’s episode of the ABC hit series, The Goldbergs. Hulkamania will be running wild on a special ‘WrestleMania’ episode of the nostalgic comedy set in the 1980’s.

The official Twitter account of The Godlbergs posted this photo of the Hulkster on set with two of the show’s co-stars.

The synopsis for the episode reads, “Murray decides to buy WrestleMania tickets to spend time with Barry and Adam, but he buys fake tickets so they can’t get in. Meanwhile, Beverly forms her own neighborhood watch group when the Frentas decide neighbor Jane Bales will be the Watch Captain and not her. Even though Barry and Adam can’t get in, they’re still going to get the WrestleMania treatment when Hulk shows up!”

Former WWE Superstar Carlito will also appear on Season 7, Episode 7, which premieres Wednesday night on ABC.

Hogan and Carlito are not the only pro wrestlers who have graced the Goldbergs universe. Bill Goldberg has been a recurring guest character, portraying the brother of the show’s high school gym teacher.

Hulk Hogan is still going strong at the age of 66 and the former World Champion is still talking about possibly having one more match in WWE.

Hogan recently had an interview with The Los Angeles Times where he talked about a number of things and revealed that he is set to undergo his 8th back surgery soon.

However even though the Hulkster is having a hard time moving around, the former face of WWE is still positive about having one last match and he claimed that he recently talked to Vince McMahon about it:

“I talked to Vince, and I said I really don’t know if I could live with myself knowing my last match was with TNA, If I can get fixed, I pray I can have one more match. I told Vince, ‘When I get through this back surgery, I’m going to get in the best shape of my life and we’re going to talk about me having one last retirement match.’ “

Hulk also revealed who he would like to face if he does get to wrestle one last match in WWE, taking the name of none other than Vince McMahon.

According to the former Champion, he had a great time in the ring with Vince at WrestleMania 19 and so he would like to get in the ring with him one more time.

Hulk Hogan is currently scheduled to be on the corner of Team Hogan against Team Flair in a 5 on 5 elimination match at the Crown Jewel PPV on October 31.

Hulk Hogan Talks The Rock Taking The Torch From Him, Their First Interaction

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan made an appearance on Friday’s The Herd hosted by Colin Cowherd on FOX Sports 1 to promote the premiere of WWE Friday Night SmackDown.

During the interview, Hogan talked about how The Rock followed in his footsteps as he used pro wrestling as a stepping stone to branch out into entertainment.

Hogan stated that he kicked the door open with the wrestling and the entertainment part as well as kicked the door open by doing kid moves.

He thinks “The Rock came along and he ripped the door off the hinges. He went bang.”

Raw Segment Featuring Hulk Hogan And Ric Flair Garnered Big Interest

While it’s been a while since either Ric Flair or Hulk Hogan stepped foot inside a ring to compete, the two can still be considered one of the biggest wrestling stars and this is evident from the viewership numbers of the latest episode of Raw.

This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw saw the return of Hogan and Flair and the two were featured in a special edition of the Miz TV.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio revealed that over 500,000 fans tuned in for this segment on Raw and they tuned out after the angle featuring the two WWE Hall of Famers was over.

While the nostalgia segments on WWE Programming are known to do good numbers, it was noted that the segment setting up the first Crown Jewel match did even better than the usual segments featuring legends.

The show overall did better than usual numbers as well and this week’s episode of Raw drew an average of 2.571 million viewers which is a 16% increase from last week’s 2.210 million viewers.

Both Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan were guests on Miz TV on this week’s season premiere episode of Raw and the two wrestling legends teased tension with each other during the angle on the show.

Their confrontation ultimately led to the announcement of a Team Flair vs. Team Hogan match for the next Saudi Arabian PPV dubbed Crown Jewel 2019 which will take place at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on October 31.
