— It is said that the decision for the winner of NXT season three was immaterial because both Kaitlyn and Naomi were going to be kept on the main roster anyway.
WWE officials like Kaitlyn as a personality, but feel it will be a while before she improves her in-ring work. Meanwhile, Naomi is considered such a good athlete that she raises the bar for other female talents—which some feel could cause resentment from those with more experience but less athletic ability.

Tonight is the premiere for the A&E television special, “Finding Hulk Hogan.” The show, which has gotten mixed critical reviews, will chronicle the recent events in Hogan’s life, including Nick’s car accident and the resulting lawsuits, his messy divorce, falling in love again with his fiancee Jennifer McDaniel, TNA and more.
“Terry Bollea, better known as Hulk Hogan, has been world-famous for almost thirty years. From the fan frenzy of Hulkamania all the way through to the tabloid-driven fascination with his family, Hulk has lived his entire adult life in the public eye. Losing nearly everything in the aftermath of his divorce, a pending lawsuit from his son’s tragic car accident, and a body riddled with injuries from years in the ring, Hogan must now start over at a time when he thought he would be happily settled into his retirement. Emotional, and completely honest, “Finding Hulk Hogan” tells his side of the story — and gives viewers a Hulk Hogan they’ve never seen before.
The one-hour special premieres Wednesday, November 17 at 10PM ET/PT. Weaving together verite footage, Hogan gives fans a stark glimpse at his entire life, including his darkest moments of depression, thoughts of suicide, alcohol and prescription pill abuse, his broken marriage, losing his entire fortune, deciding to return to Totally Nonstop Action (TNA) wrestling despite severe medical warnings, making amends with his children, finding God and committing to his girlfriend, Jennifer McDaniel.
Candid interviews with Hogan and the people in his life help chronicle the ups and downs and round out the story of a man who is trying to rebuild the pieces of his empire and move forward with his life.”
The first review is in for the upcoming A&E’s reality TV special “Finding Hulk Hogan” and its not too flattering.
John Griffiths of US Weekly wrote the following:
“Wrestler turned reality fixture Hulk Hogan opens up about his divorce, money woes and bout with depression in a tell-all special. Don’t fret: He soon finds God and a career as an exec for TNA Wrestling. Considering his stature in pop culture, this effort could have been a bit more insightful and less self-promotional.”
“Finding Hulk Hogan” premiers on A&E on Wednesday, November 17th at 10pm (ET).
Raven was written out of TNA Wrestling storylines as a result of a loss to Jeff Hardy that will air on next week’s episode of iMPACT!. It was stipulated that if Raven lost to the World Heavyweight Champion, he would be fired.
Hulk Hogan publicly fired him following the loss, saying, “Raven, you are fired, quote the Hulkster, Nevermore.”
Raven is legitimately parting ways with the organization.
Earlier this week, we posted a link to a video featuring TNA star Hulk Hogan playing the new “Def Jam Rapstar” video game with his daughter Brooke and allegedly exposing himself. Hogan’s private parts were censored in the video with a black box, but it was pretty apparent exactly what Hogan was doing.
Now, Hogan has gone on Twitter and has responded to the story:
“Be on the lookout for press, from people apologizing and releases of real footage from the video with nothing but good, clean fun”
He added:
“My real friends and fans know what I’m really all about and after 30 years, I’m not about public displays of private parts.”
Whether or not Hogan’s junk actually was exposed under that black censored box – from the video, it’s pretty clear what they were going for.. Check it out below and judge for yourself:
Video game website Kotaku.com has posted a very strange video of wrestling icon Hulk Hogan playing the new “Def Jam Rapstar” video game with Jimmy Hart and his daughter, Brooke Hogan. Everything is going great, Hulk Hogan and Brooke are singing a nice duet of the song “Juicy” by the late Notorious B.I.G., when the Hulkster … appears to flash his “junk” to the camera. Thankfully Kotaku was kind enough to censor the footage, but Brooke saw what went down and responded with a surprised “Whoa, Dad, whoa..”
Hogan received a lot of online criticism a few years back when pictures leaked online of him applying tanning oil to his daughters butt and legs. As strange as those pictures were, Hogan appearing to expose himself in front of Brooke is a different kind of behavior.
Click below to see the video … then comment below that and help us answer this one question:
“WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH HULK HOGAN?”
“Listen dude, this is totally normal behavior, BROTHER!”
TNA star Hulk Hogan is back with another video and is making some strong statements about the state of TNA Wrestling.
Despite the fact that Hogan and Bischoff have had more than half a year to turn things around and bring real change to TNA, Hogan admits the company currently features”fake ass wrestlers” and “fake ass storylines.” Hogan now says things are “about to happen” in TNA and issues a “final warning.”
“We’re going to start shooting,” Hogan said. “This is about drawing money. And if you don’t draw money, then you don’t belong here. We’re going to blow the roof off this place. We’re going to do with TNA what should have been done all along – we’re going to make it interesting.”
What do you think about Hogan’s rant? Does the current Hogan-Bischoff regime even have the ability to turn things around, or is this going to be another “earth shattering announcement” that “changes the face of TNA forever” but really doesn’t mean anything 2 weeks later? Comment below and tell us what you think …
Cable network A&E sent us the following press release on Thursday afternoon:
A&E PRESENTS: “FINDING HULK HOGAN” ONE-HOUR SPECIAL GIVES AN UNFLINCHING LOOK AT HULK HOGAN’S LIFE IN THE AFTERMATH OF HIS DIVORCE AND HIS LAWSUIT FROM HIS SON’S TRAGICCAR ACCIDENTAS HE REBUILDS HIS LIFE AND RETURNS TO THE RING
SPECIAL PREMIERES WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 17 AT 10PM ET/PT
NEW YORK, NY – October 27, 2010 – Terry Bollea, better known as Hulk Hogan, has been world-famous for almost thirty years. From the fan frenzy of Hulkamania all the way through to the tabloid-driven fascination with his family, Hulk has lived his entire adult life in the public eye. Losing nearly everything in the aftermath of his divorce, a pending lawsuit from his son’s tragiccar accident, and a body riddled with injuries from years in the ring, Hogan must now start over at a time when he thought he would be happily settled into his retirement. Hogan gives fans a stark glimpse at his entire life, including his darkest moments of depression, thoughts of suicide, alcohol and prescription pill abuse, his broken marriage, losing his entire fortune, deciding to return to Totally Nonstop Action (TNA) wrestling despite severe medical warnings, making amends with his children, finding God and committing to his girlfriend, Jennifer McDaniel.
Candid interviews with Hogan and the people in his life help chronicle the ups and downs and round out the story of a man who is trying to rebuild the pieces of his empire and move forward with his life.
“Finding Hulk Hogan” is produced by Bischoff HerveyEntertainment. Eric Bischoff, Jason Hervey and Terry Bollea are the Executive Producers. A&E Executive Producers are Robert Sharenow and Andy Berg.
— There was much bickering amongst the TNA Wrestling locker room at last week’s television tapings over TMZ.com’s report that Jersey Shore star Jenni “Jwoww” Farley was paid $15,000 for her appearance on iMPACT!. Others, however, are skeptical that the price tag noted to TMZ is legitimate.
Meanwhile, a company source was okay with the company’s publicity stunt, even if the $15,000 figure is legitimate.
“If you get TMZ to put it up and other people pick it up, then it’s worth $15,000.
— Hulk Hogan earned a lot of respect from the locker room for appearing at last week’s television in spite of his ongoing back issues. That said, he was in great pain and unable to stand for long periods of time while backstage. The wrestling legend largely kept to himself, but was accompanied by longtime friends Ed Leslie (a/k/a Brutus Beefcake) and Jimmy Hart.
— Kurt Angle is taking a vacation to Thailand since he has time off and no movie projects.

WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart was interviewed this week by Brian Fritz of Fanhouse.com to promote the new SmackDown vs. RAW 2011 video game.
Hart had some pretty harsh words about TNA Wrestling, saying it’s run by people who don’t know anything about the wrestling business and feature dinosaurs on television that take time away from the company’s real stars. Here are some highlights of what Bret said about:
Hogan, Bischoff & Russo Together Again In TNA:
“Well, I’ll be honest. After being in WCW and being around them, you start to realize that these guys — Bischoff in particular — never understood or knew anything about wrestling. They just struck me as guys that didn’t understand wrestling. To see them working with another company now, to me, I think you’ll eventually see that they don’t know anything. They didn’t know anything then and they don’t know anything now. They’re not going to make a difference anywhere they go.”
TNA’s Young Talent Getting Smothered By Dinosaurs:
“Yeah, competition is always good. I have a lot of respect for the young wrestlers there like AJ Styles and Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe, Abyss, different guys. I know they’ve got a lot of talent there and guys that I consider good friends of mine including RVD (Rob Van Dam). I wish them all the best and I hope the younger stars get a chance to show what they’ve got rather than coming back to the old dinosaurs like Hulk Hogan or Eric Bischoff with the same old certain babble that he’s been doing for 10 years when he’ll babble about nothing. He somehow positions himself to be a star on the show and I think there’s real stars that need to get that light and not him.”
– Hulk Hogan was visibly in pain backstage at Bound For Glory, moving around slowly after having back surgery just a few days ago.
– TNA President Dixie Carter posted a reaction to what happened last night at Bound For Glory .. She wrote on Twitter that the revelation of “They” was simply “Unbelievable.”
– TNA star Kurt Angle says he was injured during the main event of Bound For Glory and says “Screw Hogan” for playing politics in TNA … Angle wrote on Twitter:
“Despite re-dislocating my ribs and getting stiched up the match was awesome tonight!”
“But…I am the best wrestler in the world and I don’t do politics. If Hogan doesn’t want the best I’m done.”
“I proved I am the best.Screw hogan! Politics will effect wrestling. Why would hogan pick a kid like jeff?I eat sleep and sh#t wrestling. B.S.”
– Eric Bischoff posted the following update on his Facebook page last night regarding Hulk Hogan’s health:
“Just hung up with Hulk. Will take a few days to determine if the electric spinal chord stimulator will do the trick. Everyone is optimistic at this point.”
– Female independent wrestler Brittney Savage will get a tryout with TNA at one of the iMPACT! tapings in November. Savage is the former tag team partner of NXT Rookie AJ Lee (the two held tag team gold in the WSU women’s promotion) and actually had a tryout against Beth Phoenix last year before a SmackDown taping.
– Former WWE Diva Tammy “Sunny” Sytch explained during an interview with Women’s Wrestling Today that she loathes TNA Wrestling because when her longtime boyfriend died, Chris Candido, they refused to forward her his last paycheck (for the final shows he appeared, including the show he broke his ankle in, which led to the surgery in which he got an infection and ultimately died from) so she could pay off his outstanding bills. Sunny said:
“They refused, because we weren’t legally married. So bills I had of his, in both our names, ended up being my sole responsibility. It was only a $1,500 check, but still.. “F*****g scumbags. “They had Terry Taylor call me and tell me that. So he basically broke his ankle and died for free. They sent the check in his name, which I couldn’t endorse and deposit. When I asked them to cut me a new check in my name, they said no.”
In a bit of TNA trivia .. 2008, TNA Wrestling’s creative department considered bringing Sunny in back in 2008 as the new love intereset of Kurt Angle, who was still with his wife Karen at the time. An unnamed TNA wrestler with influence pleaded with the company not to hire Sunny and the idea was ultimately dropped. (Source Wrestling Observer Newsletter)
– Former WWE Diva Mickie James returned to TNA Wrestling at Thursday’s live iMPACT! James was interviewed on the live TNA Reaction special that followed iMPACT! and was interviewed backstage about her role in the TNA Knockouts title match at Bound For Glory this Sunday. During the promo, she referred to Madison Rayne as the TNA Knockouts Champion, which was a mistake – as the current title holder is Angelina Love.
Despite the fac tthat Mickie James’ name was spelled “Mickey James” on an an on-screen graphic during iMPACT!, the TNA website is referring to her as “Mickie” (not Mickey) – so the one instance of her name being spelled “Mickey” appears to be a mistake.
Mickie James was trending worldwide on Twitter last night following her live appearance.
She will serve as the special referee in the four-way Knockouts Title match at Bound For Glory.
– Dixie Carter wrote the following on Twitter last night following iMPACT:
“Hulk’s still in hospital after surgery yesterday. He’s fighting through & I’m confident this won’t keep him down. Keep him in your prayers”
— TNA Wrestling officials are hopeful that the disclosure of “They” at Bound for Glory will hook a number of fans to purchase the pay-per-view event. The widespread assumption amongst the TNA locker room is that “They” will be revealed as a combination of Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff and possibly Jeff Jarrett.
Though D’Angelo Dinero cut what was described as a ‘heelish promo’ on Thursday’s iMPACT!, many believe he, Sting and Kevin Nash will turn babyface once “They” is revealed. (source: Pro Wrestling Torch)
— Jeff Hardy’s fiancée, Beth Britt, who is pregnant with the TNA Superstar’s first child, released a message on Twitter yesterday asking that people respect their privacy.
“Been hearing some rumblings about this so I’ll only address it this once. Do not assume that anyone on the Internet that is talking about or answering questions regarding me & my pregnancy has any “inside information”. I can GUARANTEE that the few people who do know any actual facts ARE NOT talking about it to people they don’t know, namely on the Internet & in some silly Q&A forum. There’s a reason that I haven’t answered any questions about the pregnancy. The reason is that this is probably the one thing that we’ll be able to hold sacred & keep somewhat a secret from the public, just so that we can enjoy something so special, even if only for a short time. “Privacy” is something that doesn’t really exist in Jeff’s profession, much less his personal life. I’m just trying to hold on to what I can in MY personal life, & this is it. Respect OUR privacy on this. The people that know anything about us & this pregnancy are doing just that. People that are claiming to know, or are speculating, have NO idea.”
Hogan has posted yet another video from the hospital .. Hogan says he was supposed to have surgery on Friday to have the stimulator permanently installed in his back, but his doctor could not make it. Hogan is not as upbeat in this video as he’s been in the past, saying he will “try to make it through the weekend and make it ’til Monday.” He ends the video by saying, “We’re still trying to find out what’s wrong with my back. Stay tuned.”
Hulk Hogan has reached a settlement with cereal manufacturer Post Foods LLC, according to Hogan’s attorney Joseph W. Bain.
Hogan sued Post Foods back in May over a TV commercial for Cocoa Pebbles cerea, titled “Cocoa Smashdown” featured a blond-haired wrestler with a championship belt and Fu Manchu mustache that bore a striking resemblance to Hogan and was produced without Hogan’s knowledge or consent, according to the suit.
The terms of the settlement are confidential, but the commercial will no longer be aired and the lawsuit is being dismissed.
Hogan’s lawyer told TampaBayOnline.com, “Terry is happy to have it favorably resolved.”
According to the federal lawsuit, Hulk “is shown humiliated and cracked into pieces with broken teeth, with the closing banner, ‘Little Pieces…BIG TASTE!'” He also claims that he has been harmed by “the unauthorized and degrading depictions in the Cocoa Smashdown advertisements.”
The lawsuit says Post Foods never sought or received Hogan’s permission to use his likeness and ignored Hogan’s requests to discontinue the ads.
TNA star Hulk Hogan is back in the hospital today for more procedures to alleviate pain in his lower back.
Hogan posted a video on Twitter saying he’s”Back in the ol’ hospital again. Back started going crazy again.”
Hogan’s nurse said they performed four “ablations,” – which is a procedure where radio frequencies are used to burn all the nerves in his lower lumbar region.
Here’s the video .. Let’s hope Hogan is out of pain soon.
— “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero posted a pseudo shoot video on his Twitter account parodying the video Hulk Hogan posted online last week from his hospital bed.
“The doctors have been pumping me all full of crap, much like I have been TNA,” Dinero said while impersonating “The Hulkster.”

After being hospitalized over the Labor Day weekend due to extreme back pains, TNA star Hulk Hogan has left the hospital and is said to be doing better.
Hogan left the hospital in a wheel chair and announced to reporters that were there, including TMZ.com, that he will be getting married very soon to his girlfriend Jennifer McDaniel – as soon as she shaves his legs for him. Hogan told TMZ he’s ready to “move this wedding up, and will be marrying Jennifer right away.”
Hogan is not done with the medical procedures yet – he told TMZ that because he was “too big” for the hospital’s MRI machine, he has to go to another facility for to get looked at.
In the latest video shot from his hospital bed, TNA star Hulk Hogan says major changes are coming to TNA Wrestling. After getting off the phone with Eric Bischoff, Hogan says they’re on the verge of starting something big that’s going to take pro wrestling where it needs to be.
“This is going to be another era of wrestling you’re going to get to talk about like the whole NWO thing and Hulkamania when it first busted loose and we switched it up NWO-style,” Hogan said. “We’re going to switch it up again and do something totally different. This is going to be another era of wrestling. After being on the phone tonight with Eric and us putting our heads together tonight, because everything was clicking, it’s going to be crazy and a wild ride.”
