Hulk Hogan Returning To RAW Monday

Earlier this week the sad news broke that WWE Hall Of Famer “Mean” Gene Okerlund passed away at 76. Okerlund was reportedly dealing with several health issues. He was put in a nursing home after suffering a bad fall and breaking some ribs. After having trouble breathing he was hospitalized in Florida and later passed with his wife by his side early Wednesday morning.

The professional wrestling world has been mourning the loss of, arguably, the greatest ring announcer in the history of the industry. One of those mourners being Hall Of Famer Hulk Hogan. Yesterday, Hogan took to Twitter to offer some thoughts on Okerlund’s recent passing. Here’s what he had to say:

“The best partner I ever had. We never rehearsed or did anything scripted from a writer. Gene would ask me “hey big man what do u want to do?” I would always answer “just follow you brother” and it worked from 1980 – 2017. RIP my brother HH”

Now, it looks like Hogan will be making his return to WWE TV next week. WWE announced on Twitter that Hogan will return Monday to help honor Okerlund on RAW:

This will be Hogan’s first appearance on WWE TV since serving as the host of WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia this past November. Hogan only made a brief appearance to kick off the show, where he cut a promo.

What do you think about Hogan returning to RAW next week?

Hulk Hogan Attends Charity Event For WWE (Photos)

Earlier this month, WWE Hall Of Famer Hulk Hogan made his return to WWE. Hogan served as the guest host for the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia. “The Hulkster” came out to cut a promo to open up the show, but didn’t make another appearance after that. It looks like Hogan is now participating in even more WWE-related events outside the ring.

Hogan, along with fellow Hall Of Famer and friend Jimmy Hart, was a guest at the March of Dimes 35th Annual Sports Luncheon in New York City this week. The charity helped raise awareness for the fight against birth defects, infant mortality, and premature birth. A total of $1.3 million was raised.

However, Hogan wasn’t the only WWE representative at the event. Others included Co-President Michelle Wilson, Co-President George Barrios, Executive VP of TV Production Kevin Dunn, Executive VP of Global Sales & Partnerships John Brody, Senior VP of Sales Dave Pattillo, and VP of Global Sales & Marketing Strategy John Stamatis. Hogan took to Twitter to comment on his appearance. You can see his statement, along with several photos of his appearance, below:

“Whatcha gonna do when the  and Hulkamania run wild with ? Well, we’ll help raise over $1,000,000 to help moms and babies, brother! It was a great day in New York with the maniacs. HH”

Hulk Hogan’s Son On Why He’ll Never Retire, Crown Jewel Appearance

TMZ Sports caught up with Hulk Hogan’s son, Nick Hogan, to ask about if Hogan will ever retire from pro wrestling. This is where he ruled out that possibility.

Hogan made his first appearance with the company in years once he appeared as the host of the Crown Jewel pay-per-view event in early November at King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He was reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame after Hogan was fired from WWE in the summer of 2015 after racially charged comments from a sex tape came to light.

Nick continued by stating that this appearance was the first time that Hulk had been over in the Middle East and was interesting for him to see the reaction to ‘Hulkamania’ in the Middle East. He thought it was a home run all around.

“He face timed me from over there and it was like pandemonium. It looked like ‘Hulkamania’ in the 80s over here. It’s just like so many fans and so many people that haven’t gotten to experience him or see him.”

As of this writing, there’s no word yet on the next appearance for Hogan under the WWE banner. Time will tell when that will happen.

Hulk Hogan Comments On The Velveteen Dream’s “Hollywood” Tribute

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan took notice of what The Velveteen Dream did over the weekend. As seen at Saturday’s (November 17, 2018) NXT TakeOver: WarGames II event in Los Angeles, California at the Staples Center on the WWE Network, Tommaso Ciampa successfully retained the title over The Velveteen Dream.

The WWE Legend gave props to Dream for his “Hollywood” tributes at the show. For those who may have missed it, he had a headband, t-shirt, tights, and boots that were similar to Hogan’s attire back in the day. He also had his Twitter account dedicated to the character prior to the match but has since changed things back. Hogan wrote, “yo Velvet thanks for keeping the dream alive my brother only love HH.”

Mark Henry On What Hulk Hogan Needs To Do To Redeem Himself

WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry offered some words of advice to Hulk Hogan after the racist comments that he made a few years back.

WWE parted ways with Hogan after the scandal in 2015 and he only made his appearance after years at the Crown Jewel pay-per-view event after he was reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Mark Henry spoke to Heavy, where he revealed what suggestions he offered Hogan to redeem himself again.

“I wasn’t going to roll out the red carpet and start going to have dinner with him if he wasn’t willing to do all the s**t that I said he needed to do,” Henry told Heavy. “To start, he needs to go to some of these black universities, to these law students and let them grill him and own it and apologize. Not because you got caught, but apologize because you honestly feel remorse. He said that he found God and he touched my heart when he said that, because I know what God will do, so if God touched him, God will also say speak up, and when you reveal your past, you can go on in the future and I still don’t think he’s still completely revealed it.”

Henry said he has spoken to other wrestlers of color and the opinions are divided about the situation. Some wrestlers are of the belief that if he does certain things in the right way to apologize, he could redeem himself, whereas others don’t want to do anything with him.

Titus O’Neil also recently voiced his opinion on the situation: “I have no ill will towards Hulk Hogan whatsoever,” he said.

A few months back when Hogan was reinstated into the HOF, Henry told TMZ that he believes Hogan’s apologies are genuine.

“I do feel like he genuinely wants to clear his name. He sees people that used to respect him, they look at him different. And it hurts. And he brought that on himself. But, he’s trying his best to clear that up,” Henry said.

Hulk Hogan Responds To Rusev Wanting Him At WrestleMania 35

Hulk Hogan has responded to Rusev challenging him to a match at WrestleMania 35.

On Monday, the 65 year old wrestling icon fired off a tweet about wanting to get back under 300 pounds. Hogan said he was rewatching his appearance at Crown Jewel last week and feels it’s time to ‘get serious’ about his training and cut weight. Hogan wrote, “I looked huge, sole, jacked and my arms are bigger than most wrestlers legs. I don’t want to look like I can beat up the whole WWE roster anymore. Only Love HH”

Only love, brother. Rusev responded to Hogan. In response to Hogan saying he looks like he could beat up the entire WWE roster, Rusev said, “I think you should start with me!!!” and pointed out that WrestleMania 35 just so happens to fall on Rusev Day.

Hogan Responds to Rusev

Hogan upped the ante and told Rusev he’s got big plans for the Bulgarian Brute in 2019.

It seems like a long shot that WWE would book Hogan for a “match” at WrestleMania, even a 2-minute smoke-and-mirrors spot. However, you never know. WWE just headlined pay-per-view last weened involving 4 competitors aged 49 (Triple H), 51 (Kane) and 53 (The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels). Triple H and Roman Reigns most likely out of action for WrestleMania, so WWE can use all the star power they can get.

WrestleMania 35 takes place on Sunday, April 7th, 2019 from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Rusev Challenges Hulk Hogan To WrestleMania 35 Match

It didn’t take very long for a WWE Superstar to issue a challenge to wrestle WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan. This is after Hogan made his first appearance with the company in years once he appeared as the host of the Crown Jewel pay-per-view event last Friday at King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. At the show, he cut a promo in the ring where he talked about being back in front of the WWE Universe.

The WWE Legend took to his official Twitter account where he talked about his WWE return at Crown Jewel by writing, “Ok, today is a new day. After seeing myself on Crown Jewel I have decided to get serious and get under 300lbs. I looked huge, swole, jacked and my arms are still bigger than most wrestlers legs. I don’t want to look like I can beat up the whole @WWE roster anymore. Only Love HH.”

This led to Rusev responding to that tweet by challenging Hogan to a match at WrestleMania 35.

He was reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year after Hogan was fired from WWE in the summer of 2015 after racially charged comments from a sex tape came to light.

Hulk Hogan Comments On His Crown Jewel Appearance

Hulk Hogan returned to WWE at Crown Jewel on Friday. The formerly removed member of the WWE Hall of Fame served as host for the show. Following Crown Jewel, Hogan was evidently displeased with how he looked. He posted the following to Twitter in relation to his appearance in Saudi Arabia:

“Ok, today is a new day. After seeing myself on Crown Jewel I have decided to get serious and get under 300lbs. I looked huge, swole, jacked and my arms are still bigger than most wrestlers legs. I don’t want to look like I can beat up the whole roster anymore. Only Love HH”

Hulk Hogan WWE Status

Hulk Hogan apologized to the WWE locker room this summer for racist comments he made back in 2006. Hogan was secretly recorded and the tapes leaked. Several members of the WWE roster did not feel Hogan’s apology was sufficient, however. Titus O’Neal made the following comments in regards to Hogan’s apology this summer.

“This is not about second or third chances,” O’Neil said. “This is about a man making a decision to make statements that he truly felt in his heart I believe at that time. He may not feel that way now, he may regret it. But to come out and say, ‘I didn’t know I was being recorded’ and ‘ be careful what you say’ and ‘I don’t remember saying that stuff.’ When you start out an apology like that. Dude, you lost it already. I wanted to give him a chance, I didn’t know what that meeting was about going in but I wanted to give him a chance.”

Hulk Hogan’s Role For Crown Jewel Revealed

We noted before how Hulk Hogan teased an appearance at the Crown Jewel event. WWE then seemingly confirmed him for the show by adding him to the list of featured stars on the event’s page of WWE.com.

At the time it wasn’t known what the Hulkster would be doing at the show. Though a latest report has now revealed Hogan’s role for the event.

Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet reached out to WWE about Hogan’s appearance on the PPV. Replying to him, the Officials revealed that Hogan will be serving as the official host for the event.

This is Hulk Hogan’s first appearance for the company since being banished in 2015 and being reinstated in the WWE Hall Of Fame in July this year.

It’s worth mentioning here that in the interview in which Hulk teased a Crown Jewel appearance, he also talked about working the upcoming WrestleMania event.

With his Crown Jewel appearance being confirmed officially, it will be interesting to see if he makes more appearances for the company in near future and actually works WrestleMania next year as teased.

Hulk Hogan Advertised For WWE Crown Jewel

WWE is now officially advertising Hulk Hogan for Friday’s Crown Jewel event from Saudi Arabia. On Wednesday, WWE added Hogan to their Crown Jewel lineup on their official website and mobile app. If Hogan appears at the event, it will mark his first time appearing on a WWE show since 2015.

Hogan told The Orlando Sentinel last week that he was heading to Saudi Arabia with the company. WWE’s efforts to promote Hogan’s recent public appearances are seen as an effort to gauge fan interest in the Hall of Famer’s return.

For what it’s worth, Hogan also told the Sentinel that he’ll be at WrestleMania next year.

WWE cut ties with Hogan in 2015 after a sex tape was leaked featuring Hogan using racial slurs. In July, Hogan was reinstated to the WWE Hall of Fame, and he visited backstage at a WWE event to apologize to the locker room. Hogan is currently in civil court with the people he says stole the tape from his former best friend Bubba The Love Sponge.

We’ll be providing live play-by-play coverage of Crown Jewel right here on Friday at noon Eastern Time.

Hulk Hogan Talks About Holding Younger Wrestlers Down

Hulk Hogan recently gave an interview to the Orlando Sentinel where he made headlines once he said that he would be at WWE Crown Jewel next Friday. He also spoke about other topics including the rumors of him holding down the younger talent when he was at the top of the helm. The WWE Hall of Famer admitted that the rumors were indeed true.

“Once I got in the spot, to keep the spot, that’s where the politics came in”, Hogan revealed. “Everybody goes, ‘Well, Hulk Hogan was a politician.’ Well, thank God I was.”

Hogan continued by stating that’s why he made more money than anybody and kept the belt longer. He added, “That’s why instead of a five or six or ten year run like The Rock or Stone Cold or different wrestlers, I had a 35 year run on top.”

Although he has a long-lasting relationship with the WWE, there have been some hiccups between the two sides throughout the years. Most notably he left the company to join World Championship Wrestling in the 1990’s, and he worked in TNA Wrestling for a few years.

There’s no doubt that he’s one of the biggest names that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon ever created was Hogan. He has been a household name in the world of professional wrestling for decades now.

If you missed his comments about appearing at WWE Crown Jewel, you can read them here.

Hulk Hogan Teases Possible Appearances At WWE Crown Jewel And WrestleMania

Hulk Hogan teased during an interview with Jay Reddick of the Orlando Sentinel that he may appear at the WWE Crown Jewel event and WrestleMania 35 next year.

A few months ago, rumors that he could appear at Crown Jewel on November 2nd, 2018 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the King Saud University Stadium started once the Chairman of the General Sports Authority in Saudi Arabia (Al-Sheikh) sent out a photo on his official Twitter account of Hogan.

“There are a lot of plans in the works,” Hogan said. “I’m looking forward to going to Saudi Arabia with the WWE, looking forward to WrestleMania — but yeah, we’re moving forward at a rapid pace. It’s exciting to have this opportunity again after all these years where I was there and gone.”

He was reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year after Hogan was fired from WWE in the summer of 2015 after racially charged comments from a sex tape came to light. The WWE Hall of Famer stated he has a few ideas of how he would like to end his career in the pro wrestling business and WWE.

“This is a total ego trip, but this is what I would love: To be the hood ornament of the WWE, to be the Babe Ruth of the WWE, and to always be around when any of the big stuff is going on…” Hogan said. “I sure would love to be a part of the WrestleManias and the big events and the grand openings and the new conquests of the WWE. Saudi Arabia! Hong Kong! China! Antarctica! The North Pole! Whatever it is, I’d like to be part of the ongoing growth of the wrestling business, and be with WWE the whole time, that’s the only place to be.”

Hogan was backstage at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view event where he held a meeting with Superstars to talk to them about privacy as a celebrity and the incident that got him shunned from WWE for years.

WALTER Talks To Steve Austin About His Career, Hulk Hogan

WALTER appeared on the latest edition of The Steve Austin Show and covered his career, his wrestling influences, and more.

WALTER On His Wrestling Influences

When discussing who he patterned himself after, WALTER brought up some of the Americans that made a name for themselves working in Japan. He mentioned Stan Hansen, Bruiser Brody, and Terry Gordy specifically.

Naturally, Hulk Hogan’s name came up as well. “Don’t let anyone tell you Hogan can’t work,” Austin said.

“I’m not a believer that wrestling has to be crisp and perfect all the time,” WALTER said.

The Indie Grind

The grind of the indie scene is a common theme when Austin interviews independent talent, and WALTER touched on that here as well.

“Even though I’m really busy, I try to have a good private life. I always try not to jump 100 percent into the life of pro wrestling where I’m really caught up in it. After weekends where I work, my body is sore but my brain is fried too.”

“I’ve had times in the last month where it felt like I was just visiting my girlfriend’s place, rather than feeling like I was coming home… I like to be home and be a normal dude.”

Breaking In

As the topic shifted to breaking into the business, WALTER revealed that he gave up a solid career in another industry to pursue wrestling.

“I had a good real job, I worked at a logistics company, I started there in an apprenticeship on the warehouse, but I worked my way up. I had my own office and I was in charge of a hundred people.

“It was a good job, money was fine and everything. But at the end of the day, you have to care about stuff that is not your real interest,” he said.

WALTER’s Sports Background

WALTER also spoke about his athletic background, as he was something of a high-level youth soccer player growing up. He played as a goalkeeper but chose not to pursue playing professionally.

WALTER attributes that to the fact that in Europe, you need to decide as a young teenager whether or not to pursue a professional football career.

He says that he started getting interested in other things at that age, and chose not to stick with the sport.

WALTER also discussed his personal life and the indie scene in Europe when he first started out compared to now. He also touched upon his work with the WXW wrestling school, his legendary chops, and much more.

– WWE Evolution will see the in-ring return of WWE Hall of Famer Alundra Blayze (aka Madusa), who hasn’t wrestled for WWE in nearly 23 years after throwing the WWF Women’s Championship into a trash can on WCW Monday Nitro on December 18, 1995. WWE added a few former champions to the Women’s Battle Royal on Friday, including Blayze.

Ahead of her return on Sunday, Blayze paid a visit to the WWE Performance Center today.

– REELZChannel is airing a documentary on Hulk and Linda Hogan’s marital issues and divorce as part of their new “Irreconcilable Differences” series. Here is the synopsis for the episode, which premieres Thursday, November 1 at 9 p.m. ET.

“Hulk Hogan’s trademark bandana look and catchphrase “Hulkamania is running wild, brother” endeared him to fans. He became the most recognizable and well-liked wrestler in the WWE soaring to international fame and fortune. But life on the road presented challenges for the marriage between Hulk and Linda Hogan. Travelling upwards of 300 days a year proved difficult for the young couple and Hulk was not always the ideal, faithful husband. In 2005, the family begin filming their VH1 reality show Hogan Knows Best but life in the ever-increasing spotlight only magnifies the couple’s issues. Hulk thinks Linda’s drinking is out of control and Linda’s obsession over Hulk’s suspected infidelities is becoming all-consuming. The couple finally splits amidst one of the biggest media and celebrity scandals ever. It seems that Hulk’s tawdry liaison with a friend’s wife has not only ruined two marriages but becomes a benchmark case for freedom of the press. Reality show life coach Patrick Wanis will provide new insight as to what really went on behind the scenes of Hogan Knows Best where he worked directly with the Hogan family.”

Eric Bischoff Talks About Big Show/The Giant’s WCW Career (Audio)

On the latest episode of 83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff, the former WCW President and co-host Conrad Thompson discussed the WCW career of The Giant, best known to WWE fans as the Big Show. Bischoff, who was at the helm when Paul Wight was brought in, took a deep dive on Show’s early run, and the challenges of booking Big Show in WCW.

Bischoff said that the veterans in the WCW locker room, some of whom are legendary for holding down young talent, were very supportive of Show in his early days. “Everyone was impressed with what he could do athletically, and at how fast he was picking things up in the ring.”

Bischoff admitted, though, that from a creative standpoint, he had a difficult time figuring out exactly what to do with Show’s character, especially early on.

“Even in [his] early matches, he’s in the ring with some of the top guys in the business, because we needed the camouflage. We needed to camouflage that not only was he somewhat inexperienced, or very inexperienced. But also, what do you do with a guy that’s over seven foot tall and 400 pounds?”

Challenges Booking Big Show in WCW

Bischoff continued. “As a character, if you’re going to put him out there every week, what do you do with that character? Is the character a babyface? Well if the character is a babyface, you’ve got to be able to get sympathy on him. Otherwise, the formula doesn’t work.”

Likewise, Bischoff said, booking Show as a heel came with its own set of challenges. “Conversely, if you want him to be an effective heel, he’s gotta lie, steal and cheat. Eddie Guerrero. Why does a guy who’s seven foot four and 400 pounds have to lie, steal and cheat?”

Bischoff said that the reason Show never reached the level of stardom of an Undertaker, John Cena, Triple H or Batista, is because of that creative challenge.

“It’s just too hard to put him in a role,” said Bischoff. “It’s hard for him to be a babyface you can get sympathy on, or a heel that you believe.”

Other topics covered include Show and Kevin Nash’s relationship, Hulk Hogan’s role in Show’s career, and why Bischoff was not heartbroken when Show left WCW for WWE in 1999. The full episode can be found below.

Hulk Hogan Discusses WWE’s Support Of NWO Reunion, Feud With Bret Hart

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan appeared on The Apter Chat with hosts Josh Shernoff and Bill Apter to promote the NWO reunion alongside Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. They will reunite for the “2 Sweet” fan event on Oct. 27 in Orlando at Mango’s Tropical Cafe in Orlando.

The day features five events spread across Mango’s Tropical Cafe and Hogan’s Beach Shop and includes a live recording of Eric Bischoff and Conrad Thompson’s “83 Weeks Podcast,” a two-and-a-half hour Q&A session with Hogan, Nash & Hall and group photo ops at the end of the day.

During the podcast, which he talked about various topics, Hogan was asked about WWE supporting the reunion and even promoting it. Hogan stated that WWE is in full support of it which he thinks is a cool thing. He brought up how fans thought that WWE would be upset by using the name NWO but made it known that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was “very gracious and accommodating” and that “it’s a new day as everything is really good.”

Bret Hart Feud In WCW

Once Bret Hart made the jump from the WWE to WCW after the Montreal Screwjob in 1997, fans were hyped to see a feud between Hart and Hogan. However, although the promotion booked it, the feud never caught on with fans. Hogan stated that they tried and did everything they could to the point where they put the belt on Hart and Hogan put him over.

This is when Hogan got confused about the state of Hart’s career. Hogan believed that Hart wasn’t in the best physical shape back then because he thought Hart was coming off that stroke or something. To Hogan’s credit, it did note that he wasn’t sure what happened then talked about how Hart fell off his bicycle or something.

That stroke happened in 2002 and WCW was closed in 2001. Hart’s career ended in 1999 due to a head kick that caused a concussion by Goldberg.

“Maybe I’ve got my time frames confused. I can’t remember. It’s been so long. All I know is Bret came in, paid him a ton of money, did jobs for him” and more. He added that he doesn’t know what else he could’ve done but tapped out on that one.

WWE Promotes Upcoming NWO Reunion, Kevin Nash Comments On Faction’s Popularity

Ticket packages and prices have been released for the upcoming NWO reunion show taking place at the end of the month. While the price of admission is not cheap, the level of access to the Superstars involved will be significant. Prices range from $200 to $1000 and include photo-ops, collectibles, and access to the Q&A session.

WWE recently promoted the event on their website as well.

Kevin Nash Speaks On NWO Reunion

Ahead of the nWo reunion event later this month, Kevin Nash spoke to the Sporting News about his career, the state of the business today, and the future of wrestling.

Among the interview’s highlights were Nash’s comments on the upcoming Triple H vs. Undertaker match at WWE Super Show-Down.

When pressed about why a younger wrestler might not be getting the shot to work with The Undertaker, Nash made some rather pointed comments about the stars of today.

“No one cares about the young guys,” said Nash. “You going to put Finn [Balor] in there versus The Undertaker? [Seth] Rollins? Who are you going to put?”

Nash went on to offer his critique of today’s in-ring style, intimating that it will prevent longevity.

“Those guys aren’t going to have 30 years in the business. This style won’t allow these guys to last 30 years. Rollins already had a couple knee operations, but he’s a great worker. I just don’t see these guys even lasting 20 years because of their bodies and the concussion syndrome,” Nash said.

Nash also discussed what made the nWo cool, and how it had almost nothing to do with wrestling.

“Wrestling was dead. What was over at that point basically was West Coast Rap,” Nash said.

You can find more information on the upcoming nWo reunion here.

Jim Ross Believes Hulk Hogan Should Appear At WWE Crown Jewel

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has given his take on the rumors of fellow Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan potentially appearing at the upcoming WWE Crown Jewel pay-per-view event on November 2nd, 2018 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the King Fahd International Stadium. These rumors started once the Chairman of the General Sports Authority in Saudi Arabia (Al-Sheikh) recently sent out a photo on his official Twitter account of Hogan.

The WWE Legend spoke about it on the latest episode of his podcast, Ross Report, that was released on Wednesday. In his opinion, Hogan should be there. “Why wouldn’t you have Hulk Hogan there? It just makes sense that you’d figure a way to have Hogan on the card.” Ross continued by stating that people grew up idolizing him in that part of the world and that it would be a massive hit due to the publicity and build great anticipation in the country if he was featured.

Hogan was backstage at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view event where he held a meeting with Superstars to talk to them about privacy as a celebrity and the incident that got him shunned from WWE for years.

Super Show-Down Main Event

WWE’s next pay-per-view event is Super Show-Down and there are several matches that could headline it. Ross thinks that it has to be Undertaker vs. Triple H as WWE has Shawn Michaels and Kane out at ringside. He says it’s a big-time show and will be interesting to see which matches open and close the show.

Hulk Hogan Remembers Hercules Hernandez, Superstar Picks Returning To WWE Network

– Since being reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame in July, Hulk Hogan has been reminiscing a lot about his glory days in the World Wrestling Federation through social media. On Friday, he posted a message remembering the late Hercules Hernandez.

On November 29, 1986, “The Hulkster” successfully defended the WWF World Heavyweight Championship against Hernandez on Saturday Night’s Main Event. Hogan posted a clip of his pre-match promo and wrote, “I wish Hercules was still with us. He was tough as nails. I witnessed Hiro Matsuda torture him daily, brother.”

Hernandez — real name Raymond Fernandez — died in his sleep on March 6, 2004. His cause of death was attributed to heart disease.

Hulk Hogan Sends Out Teaser About Potential WWE Return

We noted earlier on the site that there has been a lot of speculation regarding the next appearance for Hulk Hogan at a WWE event especially at the WWE Crown Jewel event once Chairman of the General Sports Authority in Saudi Arabia (Al-Sheikh) sent out a photo on his official Twitter account of Hogan. Hogan sent out this teaser on Twitter about a potential WWE return:

“Back in the day the challenge was simple, work 300 days a year even if you’re hurt if you want to keep your spot. Today? Well maybe we’ll just have to find out, brother. HH #wwf #wwe.”

He was reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year after Hogan was fired from WWE in the summer of 2015 after racially charged comments from a sex tape came to light. Gawker alleged that Hogan only filed a lawsuit against them to prevent the racial statements from being released.

There’s no doubt that one of the biggest names that WWE and WWE Chairman Vince McMahon ever created was Hogan. He has been a household name in the world of professional wrestling for decades now.

He has wrestled some of the biggest names in the history of pro wrestling, and although he has a long-lasting relationship with the company, there have been some hiccups between the two sides throughout the years. The belief is that when WWE is able to bring Hogan back at the right time, they will.

Speculation On Hulk Hogan’s Next Appearance With WWE

After one post by an interesting name surfaced on Twitter, there has been a lot of speculation regarding the next appearance for Hulk Hogan at a WWE event. The Chairman of the General Sports Authority in Saudi Arabia (Al-Sheikh) sent out a photo on his official Twitter account of Hogan.

This led to many fans believing that this was a hint that Hogan will be appearing at the WWE Crown Jewel event. If you recall, there have been rumors that Saudi Arabia requested a ton of wrestling stars from the 1990’s for the Greatest Royal Rumble event earlier this year including Hogan, The Undertaker, and Jim Ross among others. Thus, with Hogan being back on good terms with WWE, it’s possible that they would want to be involved for the next show.

The WWE Crown Jewel pay-per-view event takes place on November 2nd, 2018 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the King Fahd International Stadium and will air on the WWE Network. Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman for the WWE Universal Title is the only match thus far confirmed the show.

Former WWE Star Thinking About Trying Out For XFL, Hulk Hogan At NFL Game (Video)

– The XFL is returning in 2020 and a former WWE star has interest in playing for a team.

Gene Snitsky, who is 48 years old, revealed in an Instagram post last week that he’s “seriously considering” trying out for the XFL.

Before wrestling, Snitsky played college football at the University of Missouri. He was also on a Canadian Football League (CFL) preseason roster in 1995 for the Birmingham Barracudas.

Hulk Hogan Says The nWo Would ‘Murder’ The Shield

On October 27th the New World Order will reform at Mango’s Tropical Cafe in Orlando. Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall will take part in a Q&A and reunion event. Hogan has been making the media rounds lately to promote the event.

When he was asked how the original 3 NWO members would fare against the Shield, Hogan didn’t mince words. Hogan declared, “We would murder the bums, brother!”

Hulk Hogan On NWO Reunion

“I use to wrestle with Roman Reigns’ Dad,” Hogan continued. “You’ve seen pictures of me holding Roman Reigns as a baby, c’mon. We taught them almost everything we know!”

Hogan would continue to say their reunion event will begin with a 3-hour Q&A session before moving into pictures and autographs.

Speculation of a possible NWO reunion began earlier this summer. Fans attempting to visit Hulk Hogan’s Beach Shop noted it was closed and Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Hollywood Hogan were all seen inside wearing NWO gear.

Scott Hall and Kevin Nash “invaded” WCW in 1996 as “the Outsiders.” At first, the angle was meant to appear as though WWF talent were invading WCW. Hogan would join the Outsiders at Bash at the Beach that summer. He would win the WCW World Championship from the Giant shortly after and re-christen it the NWO World Title.

Goldberg Comments On Hulk Hogan’s WWE HOF Reinstatement

WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg was interviewed by Inside The Ropes and discussed several professional wrestling topics.

Goldberg discussed Brock Lesnar’s eventual UFC return during the interview. The former Universal Champion will challenge Daniel Cormier for the UFC heavyweight title. The UFC hasn’t announced a date for the fight as of this writing. However, it’s looking like it will be early 2019:

“Show me another guy who can do [UFC],” said Goldberg. “You gotta have cojones, you gotta have a special ability, you gotta have a desire to do certain things. Brock is a different human being.

“Brock is a guy who reinvents himself all the time and who capitalizes on opportunities that others don’t have the cojones to capitalize on.”

The former WCW World Champ then offered his thoughts on Hulk Hogan. “The Hulkster” was reinstated into the WWE Hall Of Fame this year. Goldberg offered a rather blunt response to the matter:

“Well if WWE didn’t think it could be a positive thing, he never would have been reinstated,” Goldberg said.

Hulk Hogan Explains Why He Wanted All In To Succeed, Talks Bullet Club

Hulk Hogan has made it known that he was pulling for the success of the All In event that was presented by Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks this past weekend, which made history for an indy event to draw over 10,000 fans in an arena.

The WWE Hall of Famer recently spoke with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated to talk about various topics including All In where he noted that they have his support as he is a fan of their work and is rooting for them.

“WWE is the mainstay, they’re here forever, but whenever there is competition in the marketplace, especially with a group of guys like Cody Rhodes, the Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega, it just raises the bar with the level of shows and content.”

Bullet Club

Hogan also noted that he has been keeping a close eye on the Bullet Club for the last couple of years. He brought up how Cody has talked to him about potentially doing something with the group but admitted that those guys are on fire on their own.

Being reinstated into WWE Hall of Fame

A few months ago, WWE officials decided to reinstate Hogan back into the Hall of Fame after removing him following the controversy of his racist remarks came out in a leaked sex tape. Hogan stated that the fans are loyal and that we are all humans who make mistakes. He admitted that he’s not perfect but is trying to make a positive impact every day.

“People have stood by me and stuck with me. I’ll never forget that. They know me, they know who I am, and they know how much I love this business—this business is my life. I’ve got nothing but love in my heart for the fans, I’m forever grateful.”
