The Wrestling Observer reports that three WWE talents are currently suffering from injuries – NXT’s Sawyer Fulton & SmackDown’s Naomi and Jey Uso.
Regarding Fulton, he’s expected to be out of action for several months with some sort of shoulder or biceps injury. His absence is the reason for Big Damo joining Sanity, which began on this week’s NXT episode. Fulton last wrestled on 11/17 at the NXT house show in Boston, teaming with Eric Young and Alexander Wolfe for a loss to No Way Jose and TM-61.
Naomi and Jey are both suffering with ankle injuries. Naomi is expected back this week but The Observer did not provide further details on Jey. They both last wrestled on 11/22 – Naomi a loss to Alexa Bliss on Main Event and The Usos a Tag Team Turmoil loss to American Alpha on SmackDown.
As seen in the Instagram videos below, Jey needed a wheelchair to get through the airport the next day:
As seen tonight on Raw, Jimmy and Jey Uso were erroneously introduced by Lilian Garcia as the Grammy Award-winning Tag Team of the Year (as opposed to the Slammy Award-winning Tag Team of The Year) prior to their match against Curtis Axel and Adam Rose. Raw immediately went to a commercial break, with her announcing flub replayed when the show returned to the air. It was then repeatedly mentioned by JBL throughout the night.
Lilian quickly acknowledged her error on Twitter.
Music side of me came out in that match!! ? #TheUsos#Raw

WWE Superstar Jey Uso is expected to be out of action for “about 6 months” after suffering a shoulder injury prior to WrestleMania 31. According to WWE physician Dr. Stephen Daquino,
“At WrestleMania, Jey suffered an anterior shoulder dislocation on the left arm, which was later evaluated back in Florida.”
Jey underwent surgery last week to tighten his rotator cuff and shoulder capsule to repair the injury. He’s expected to be out of action for 6 more months.

– As of last week, the plan for the IC title Ladder Match at WrestleMania is for Daniel Bryan to emerge victorious. Of course, plans could change by Sunday, but he’s the clear favorite headed into this weekend.

The WWE Network is advertising a four-way tag-team match for the WWE Tag-Team Championships for the official WrestleMania 31 Kickoff Show.
The match is scheduled to feature Cesaro and Tyson Kidd vs. The New Day vs. Los Matadores vs. The Usos, which means Jey Uso is likely able to work through his shoulder injury.
– Despite previous reports to the contrary, WWE is still of the belief that top Ring Of Honor stars The Briscoes will be signing with them and will be heading to NXT by mid-summer.
– As previously reported, Jey Uso is currently out of action with a shoulder injury. Due to the injury, Uso’s status for WrestleMania 31 will not be known until he is evaluated by WWE doctors, which is expected to happen later this week. The injury occurred when Xavier Woods landed awkwardly on Uso while executing a somersault plancha during a recent match on WWE SmackDown.
As reported over the weekend, WWE Superstar Jey Uso missed the live event in Seattle on Saturday evening. Jimmy Uso ended up working the show by himself, defeating The Miz in singles action.
WWE has since confirmed the fact that Uso suffered a shoulder injury while working a match on SmackDown.
“Following Thursday night’s SmackDown, it was revealed that Jey Uso suffered a shoulder injury during an Eight-Man Tag Team Match. The former WWE Tag Team Champion will be evaluated again this week.”
– Jey Uso did not work the WWE live event on Saturday night in Seattle, Washington. Instead, Jimmy Uso appeared by himself, defeating The Miz in singles competition.
– Bo Dallas and Tyler Breeze have been working as a tag-team at recent WWE live events. At Saturday’s live event in Seattle, the two lost to The Lucha Dragons in tag-team action, however before the match, Dallas cut a promo, telling everyone that they were witnessing history as he and Breeze teamed up, and are now known as “Bo-Breeze.”
Below are photos of Bo-Breeze at last night’s show.
Jey Uso of The Usos tag-team in WWE recently responded to Vince McMahon’s speech on the live “Steve Austin Show” podcast about the current generation in WWE during a recent interview with Turnbuckle Weekly.
Below is an excerpt from the interview.
“I know he wouldn’t say something without any meaning behind it. I feel like he was just trying to light a fire under the locker room. He wants guys to go out there and grab that brass ring, step out on a limb, and go out there and get it. I feel like some of the guys, including myself… when me and my brother first came it is kind of like walking on egg shells. We don’t want to mess up because we’re new guys. We’re young we don’t know what to do.
“As far as ambition, I feel like we do have a good crew. It’s going to take time. It’s going to take some years to get used to this thing. But as soon as we got our feet deep in the ground and our claws deep in the dirt, we’re going to be ok. I love my group of guys. I love my locker room. If you look at it we have some great talent in there. It is going to take time. It’s going to take time. That’s all I can say about it.”
Former Germany goalkeeper Tim Wiese appeared at Saturday’s WWE live event in Frankfurt as an official timekeeper for a match pitting The Usos against Gold and Stardust.
Wiese made multiple appearances for Germany’s national team between 2008 and 2012, but more notably, was German club Werder Bremen’s No 1 goalkeeper between 2005 and 2012. His contract with German club Hoffenheim was mutually terminated on January 21, 2014 after the 32-year-old suddenly ballooned and put on an incredible amount of muscle. This prompted reports that he was planning to switch trades and pursue a career as a professional wrestler. He has tried out for WWE and claimed in September that he was offered a contract.
“@NotSoAverageJoe: @JRsBBQ any thoughts on ex-goalkeeper Tim Weise??”, Jim Ross was asked by a fan today, responding, “I was at his tryout. Lots of charisma. #hopeful.”

Uso worked a six-man tag-team match with his brother Jimmy and The Great Khali, defeating all three members of The Wyatt Family. Jey had his knee heavily taped up and sold it throughout the majority of the match.
– NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte held a live Q&A on Twitter on Sunday night. She spoke about her pre-match ritual, which includes her saying a prayer to her brother Reid before heading out to the ring. She also noted that her first official WWE t-shirt will be released soon.
WWE Tag Team Champion Jey Uso suffered a knee injury on Monday’s RAW from Des Moines, Iowa. According to a statement at WWE.com, Uso sustained a “forceful, direct blunt trauma” to his left knee, aggravating a previous injury.
WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann Uso “stretched ligaments” on last week’s during The Usos’ match against Goldust and Stardust. The injury was worsened last night as a result of Stardust’s latest attack on him during Jimmy’s match with Goldust. Dr. Amann told WWE.com on Monday night:
“This evening during [Jimmy Uso’s match with Goldust, Jey] sustained forceful, direct blunt trauma to his left knee with a chair [strike] to the knee while his leg was wrapped around the ring post. We brought him back to the training room and took a look at his knee. All the external ligaments seem to be intact, but we’re worried about internal ligament damage as well as possible fractures, so we’ve set him up for further evaluations with X-rays and an MRI.”

The following are highlights of a recent interview with Jey Uso:
On growing up with other sons of Legends: “I remember the Rotundo boys . . . mostly Bray [Wyatt] and the Hennigs. We’d be just hanging out. Our dad would tell us to sit still, and we just didn’t move.”
On working with John Cena: “He just made us comfortable. It really calmed us down. And now we’re really starting to get our personality out there more. If the fans in the WWE Universe think the Usos played a big part in that last man standing match, man, I’m thankful for it.”
On his WrestleMania dream match: “If it came down to it, I would love to headline WrestleMania with my brother. I think it would be the easiest match I ever had in my career. And it would be the most fun.”

It does get uncomfortable. Sometimes you’re talking with the cameras there, and if we get too deep, then it’s like, wait. … To me it’s a weird feeling.”
Never Wanting to Break Up The Usos: “I feel like me and my brother will never break up. Why can’t we be tag-team champions/WWE World Champion or Intercontinental Champion and tag champs? I don’t think it has been done before. But if it came down to it, I think we’d draw a lot of money (if my brother and I broke up and faced each other). Have my dad come in there and get involved.”
