The bout resulted in a disqualification loss for Punk since Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio interfered, leading World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus and Randy Orton to surface and even the odds. Ziggler was left in the ring as he took the babyface wrestlers’ respective finishers.

– During a commercial Monday night on Raw promoting this week’s episode of WWE Saturday Morning Slam on The CW, it was announced that Zack Ryder will be in action. The program will also feature segments on WWE Champion CM Punk and The Miz.

– As reported Sunday, Randy Orton was caught on camera using the middle finger gesture during his match against Dolph Ziggler at Night of Champions. According to F4WOnline.com, Orton’s flippant action stemmed from a group of fans ringside chanting “Orton sucks.” Following the match, Orton reportedly threatened a fan that he would “kick his ass” after the show.

– According to an account backstage at tonight’s Raw show in Bridgeport, Connecticut, John Cena is walking around fine after rolling his ankle last night at Night of Champions. As of 4:00 p.m., he was scheduled to compete on the show.

– Before World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio squared off last night at Night of Champions, SmackDown General Manager Booker T reinstated the Brogue Kick, which aided The Celtic Warrior in retaining his title. According to F4WOnline.com, Sheamus is moving on to a new opponent on television as Big Show is scheduled to confront him tonight on Raw. This will lead to a match at Hell in a Cell on Oct. 28.

– Zack Ryder is featured on the cover of the latest issue of WWE Kids Magazine. The Raw Superstar excitedly tweeted a photo of the issue.

New York Daily News reports Sunday that Kim K. was spotted with the former Miss Hancock a number of times last week.

“They’ve known each other for years and have always been friendly, just not best friends,” said a source.

– As reported this morning, John Cena will debut new pink attire in recognition of breast cancer awareness at tonight’s Night of Champions pay-per-view event in Boston, Massachusetts. The Cenation leader addressed the charitable endeavor on Twitter this afternoon.

Enclosing a photo of the dog, she tweeted, “Please if you see my dog Flake in Hollywood area, call the number thats on him thank you.”

John Cena will debut new pink attire in recognition of breast cancer awareness at tonight’s Night of Champions pay-per-view event in Boston, Massachusetts, according to The Boston Herald.

The publication released a photo of Cena donning his new threads late Saturday, which includes a black “Rise Above Cancer” T-Shirt with a pink logo and pink “Rise Above Cancer” cap.

Cena will be wearing his new gear through October, which is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, as WWE partners with Susan G. Komen for the Cure to eradicate breast cancer. The WWE Superstar has a personal reason for helping out the cause.

“One of the reasons I really wanted to do something with Susan G. Komen is because of my brother,” said Cena. “Early detection saved his life.”

Cena’s youngest brother, Sean, discovered last November that he had brain cancer.

“Sean’s doing extremely well,” said Cena. “It was an inoperable brain tumor, but one of the main reasons he’s done well is the early detection. I know it’s brain cancer and breast cancer, but that key is early detection.”

Though the partnership seems odd on the surface, there are more than five million women who watch WWE programming every week, making it the perfect match.

“It’s very exciting for us to be partnered up with Susan G. Komen,” said Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE’s Executive Vice President of Talent and Live Events. “The WWE and John Cena have such a large female fan base, so it’s important for us to support the people who have supported us for so long.”

ESPN personality Robert Flores appeared on this week’s MLW.com podcast and spoke with host Mister Saint Lauren about a conversation he had with John Cena and why Cena is against turning heel.

– Ever wondered how much WWE Superstars have to eat to look the way they do on television? Australia’s Herald Sun newspaper has an article up looking at the diets of various WWE superstars.

Big Show enjoys “a 20-egg omelette, milk, juices and a tub of ice cream” for breakfast.

“I tend to over-eat when the food is good, but I’m not a glut. I don’t drink, though an occasional glass of beer makes me happy.

“The thing is to be hungry all the time. But I’ve got the power to keep my hunger under control.”

John Cena takes down eight eggs and oatmeal for breakfast. At lunch, he has two chicken breasts, fresh vegetables and brown rice, and for dinner, grilled fish or chicken, brown rice, vegetables and salad.

– After Dolph Ziggler ended Chris Jericho’s WWE career last week on Raw, “The Showoff” appeared on-stage Monday to the former WWE Superstar’s entrance music and proclaimed that he will never be seen again. Jericho reacted to Ziggler’s move via Twitter, writing, “Heard Dilph used my music tonight. Well it’s about time he got a good ring song, as that “I Am Perfection” tune is crap #JustAnotherWannabe.”

– Charlie Sheen, who had been speculated to appear at SummerSlam Sunday, attended a family party that. Multiple WWE sources report that company officials are interested in collaborating with Sheen at a future pay-per-view event, possibly WrestleMania XXIX.

– Santino Marella is expected to receive a WWE United States Championship rematch against Antonio Cesaro at Night of Champions. – As reported Monday, Brodus Clay and Damien Sandow, who have been feuding on WWE programming in recent weeks, were scheduled to face off at SummerSlam but their match was nixed due to time constraints. Both the WWE Championship and WWE Tag Team Championship bouts were shortened due to time constraints because the production team wanted to make sure there would be enough time for the aftermath of the Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar bout since The Game’s farewell scene will play a vital role in storylines going forward.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, multi-platinum recording artist Kevin Rudolf’s performance of the pay-per-view theme song, “Don’t Give Up,” caused the program to have timing issues. Regarding the performance, some of the fans shown dancing were plants.

– WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz is currently on a promotional tour in London, England. He will be off television two weeks while touring the country and apparently other countries. In the closing segment of Monday’s WWE RAW, the stage was set for CM Punk to defend the WWE Championship against John Cena at Night of Champions on September 16th. The match was not made official, but it will be finalized soon.

– After he failed to capture the WWE Championship at SummerSlam, John Cena spoke to the WWE website and was asked whether he now considers CM Punk to be the “Best in the World.” Cena said that CM Punk got lucky at SummerSlam and Punk will be seeing him tonight on RAW.
