The Rock Tells Cena To Stick His Apology Straight Up His …

On Monday afternoon, former WWE champion John Cena posted a message on Twitter apologizing to The Rock for all the remarks he’s made regarding The Rock’s absence from WWE television. Cena wrote:

“I would like to take a moment to publicly apologize to Dwayne ‘the Rock’ Johnson. In an effort to make WM28 as big as possible I tried to expose rock for his flaws. Very childish and immature on my behalf. My comments about the rocks absence were both unprofessional and childish. I am sorry.”

The Rock responded with a message on Twitter, asking WWE to keep John Cena on the roster so he could whoop his candy ass at WrestleMania.

It was announced on RAW that Cena would not be fired (despite losing the WWE title to CM Punk at Money in the Bank), which prompted another anti-Cena tweet from The Rock after RAW:

“Cena – get back on your tour bus, call up your favorite yum rocket, take your apology and stick it straight up your phony ass.”

If anybody knows what a “yum rocket” is … Well, if you do – maybe it’s best that you keep it to yourself…

John Cena Says He’s Been Future Endeavored & Rock Match Is Off

Former WWE champion John Cena just posted the following on Twitter, saying he’s been “future endeavored” and his match with The Rock at WrestleMania 28 is off:

“I have just been ‘future endeavored’. Well..if that’s how it is I would like to take a moment to publicly apologize to Dwayne ‘the Rock’ Johnson. In an effort to make WM28 as big as possible I tried to expose rock for his flaws. Very childish and immature on my behalf. My comments about the rocks absence were both unprofessional and childish. I am sorry. Rock, I truly wish and still hope in my heart of hearts that the crazy old man who is the boss reconsiders his totally rash decision. Because chicago was insane last night… And it made me think.of what Miami could have been. I guess sometimes u do not know what u have until it is lost.”

“CeNation. I very rarely ask u for anything but I am down to my last chance. If u could tweet WWE to let them know not to fire me…

Exclusive: WWE Locker Room Didn’t Know The Cena-Punk Finish

SEScoops has confirmed with several sources backstage during the CM Punk vs John Cena main event tonight that the locker room did not know the finish of the match, but according to one wrestler backstage “it was a total sellout at the monitor!”

We were told, “Even the producers (formerly agents) were sitting on the edge of their seats, which is why Vince McMahon only had John Laurinaitis go out to the ring with him. He didn’t want anyone else to know the finish of the match.”

According to another source, Alberto Del Rio was briefed personally by Vince once Punk and Cena were already in the ring.

Chavo Guerrero Liked Cena-Punk But Calls Cena Lazy Again

Former WWE star Chavo Guerrero, who blasted John Cena on Twitter earlier this week for cheating his fans by wrestling the same “lazy” and boring match every night, has posted his thoughts about Cena and CM Punk’s match at Money in the Bank. Chavo does put over the efforts of both men, but has more harsh words for Cena @MexWarrior:

Some of u are asking me to eat my words. I’ll give credit where credit is due. Cena & Punk DELIVERED! But why should we be wondering if Cena will show up? He is the highest paid wrestler in the industry & the backbone of the WWE… He should deliver EVERY night! No question! We Never said this about Taker or Michaels. U knew they would deliver every time they stepped foot in the ring. There was never a lazy Accusation with those 2. So what u should be saying is. It’s about time Cena gave the fans there moneys worth!

I’m very happy for Punk…If he’s resigning or not, he deserves it.Nobody has lot a fire in the WWE like that since Austin and I guarantee Cena makes 3-4 times if notMore than Punk. If u make that much, u should deliver every night, no if, ands, or buts! But that’s just me, weather I was making Mysterio Quit or putting over a little person, I gave it my all every night. Not for the money but cuz I have pride in my work and I respect this biz & the fans cuz they are what matters.

There’s always some1 seeing u for the first time & for the last time every night! That’s how every Wrestler should view this biz. Nit as a stepping stone to Hollywood but as way to deliver to the ppl who pay there hard earned money to Watch them every night!!!

Viva La Raza mother f’rs! :) just playing.. Dint hate!

Chavo Guerrero Unloads On John Cena, Rips His Wrestling Ability

Chavo Guerrero took John Cena’s wrestling ability to task today on Twitter after the master of the Five Knuckle Shuffle declared earlier in the day that people will talk about his match with CM Punk tomorrow at Money in the Bank for years to come. He challenges the WWE Champion to think outside the box and not do the “BS lazy comeback” he does in “every match” because the fans deserve better. The third generation grappler also took a parting shot at The Miz during his near half-hour diatribe.

Guerrero wrote: “Ok, don’t “Fin” say that people will talk about this for years if you’re going to let Punk do all the work and not deliver at the PPV, Cena. I am tired and I know fans are tired of WWE Superstars talking big and not delivering. We don’t want to see someone just in a fight. And frankly no one believes it anymore. If Miz can kick your ass then the clerk at the store can kick your ass, so please deliver if you say that..

“People will remember this PPV. You know Punk will bring “it”. I’ve been in the ring with both of you and Punk has “it”. Cena you have mic skills yes but if you think people believe your BS lazy comeback that you do exactly the same every match then you are mistaken. Eddie and I taught you different. We never said “get lazy” and do the damn thing every night. We always said “think out of the box” and give the fans what they deserve and not rely on the “machine” to “get you over”.

“I hope this lights a fire under your ass and you deliver this Sunday. Don’t just rest on you being over cause you are and that is easy. Challenge yourself and give the fans what they deserve. That’s why they boo you. Because they aren’t stupid. They know what they pay for and the “great” promo guy but the shitty “match” guy that you have become is not what they want. I understand “longevity” but at the sacrifice of the fans trust is not worth it. Deliver on your fans and deliver on why you got into this business. Eventually the fans that you have gained with from the purple t-shirts will turn on you. Take a lesson from the Hulkster. Give the fans there $ worth and don’t become just another “promo” guy. I know you love this biz and don’t get distracted from the McMahon $. Deliver please!! Have enough respect for your fans because without them, you’re working at a fast food chain.

“Love you man and I support you and hope you see this because I know Punk will and I know he’s going to bring it because he’s got nothing to lose!”

JR Blog: Rock’s Promo On Cena, JR Podcast? More

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has updated his blog, which you can read in its entirety over at JRsBarBQ.com. Here are some highlights of what JR wrote about:

The Rock’s Promo On John Cena This Week: “The Rock’s on line promo that can be found on Rock’s Facebook page and at WhoSay.com or by doing a simple Google search is reminiscent of some of the great, Attitude Era Rock promos back in the day. Rock learned to talk big time trash at ‘The U’ which is the University of Miami for those that don’t know and then Rock refined it in WWE. This promo is highly entertaining and comes with a truck load of passion. Strongly suggest that you watch it. Sure brought back great memories for me.”

“I’m curious as to where Rock plans on ‘whipping John Cena’s ass’ prior to Wrestlemania. I hope that I don’t miss that physical encounter. As fun as it is to follow the two WM28 adversaries ‘tweet off’ It’s obvious that to build WM28 into the huge hit that everyone involved wants that @TheRock and @JohnCena must physically engage before April 1, 2012. When, where, and how is TBD but I, as a fan, certainly am excited about the possibilities.”

“Let the speculation begin that @TheRock may blow up the proceedings at Summer Slam. Hell, as far as I know it could be this Sunday on PPV at MITB. The only thing that I know conclusively is that if Rock said he was going to do something then it will happen.”

Jim Ross Hosting A Podcast? “I’ve been approached by a major, national company about doing a weekly podcast. I’m thinking it through but I can assure you that IF, and that’s a big IF, I do a weekly podcast they won’t be of the 60-90 minute version that some wrestling websites do at times. Sorry, but for me that’s just too long for me. Stay tuned.”

WWE’s PG Programming: “PG means different things to different people. I thought Raw was definitely PG money night even though there was some ‘edgy’ language but not edgy enough to make one want to run the kids out of the room. I don’t see a return to PG 14 for WWE and would advise against if if asked but the edgy, more strategic PG we’ve seen on Raw recently has entertained me.”

John Cena Responds To The Rock’s Latest Video

Earlier today, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson posted an epic 10-minute video running down John Cena for talking trash about him on WWE’s recent Australian tour. The Rock vowed to whoop John Cena’s ass before WrestleMania and made a few comments that some people might consider borderline homophobic, including saying that Cena’s wristbands make him look like a “bloated transvestite Wonder Woman.”

Cena responded to The Rock on Wednesday afternoon with the following statement on Twitter:

“CeNation. Just saw Dwayne’s statement. Via satellite of course. Sad, really. It was like an episode of mad money.”

“I wonder if GLAAD will be offended by Dwayne’s comments.”

“Either way..looks like I have really made him mad. But, certainly not mad enough to show up and do anything. Maybe he can send a stuntman.”

“Dwayne. I am a WWE employee, and a proud one. The difference between us is you left for ‘greener pastures’. For me…this is what I love.”

“I have never begged for anyones admiration or acceptance, u don’t believe me..watch MITB. Its not about that. Its about showing up.”

Id rather wrestle a thousand ‘punks’ than one ‘rock’. Because I can see his passion. Wish I could see yours…yer just never there. :)

“Until april 1st. Keep on bringing it my man. You’re doing great. Your friend John Cena”

Video: “The Rock Responds To Cena’s Hot Garbage”

John Cena recently had some strong words for his WrestleMania 28 opponent The Rock, once again calling him out for abandoning the WWE universe in favor of a Hollywood career.

Not one to remain quiet when insulted, The Rock has fired back at Cena with a hilarious promo, explaining what he meant when he said he’d never leave WWE, telling him that people don’t like “phony punks” and promising to whoop his ass. Rock also strongly implies that it might be at next month’s SummerSlam from Los Angeles.

John Cena Talks About CM Punk Leaving WWE, The Rock & WM28

WWE Champion John Cena was interviewed by the Chicago Tribune this week to hype Sunday’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view, which takes place from the Windy City.

With CM Punk vowing to leave WWE with the WWE championship this Sunday, Cena knows Punk’s the atmosphere in Punk’s home town of Chicago will be electric:

“Chicago fans greeted me with a ‘(Expletive) you, Cena’ chant. Chicago fans cheer and boo who they want. They’re great fans whether they like me or not. They show you how they feel. I don’t like crowds that sit on their hands.”

One of CM Punk’s gripes in recent weeks has been that The Rock, who is no longer an active WWE superstar, made a brief return to the company earlier this year and is already booked for the main event of next year’s WrestleMania. Cena had this to say about Punk’s gripe:

“Here’s a guy [Punk] who literally is a pure-bred wrestler, who loves the business and loves being able to go out and compete. I can understand his frustration. But you can’t ignore the attraction of The Rock being involved.”

With all the negative things John Cena has said about The Rock turning his back on the WWE universe by retiring as an active competitor, Cena was asked why he hasn’t been as hard on CM Punk’s decision to leave. Cena responded:

“I know he’s not going to leave wrestling. He’s leaving WWE. There’s a difference. CM Punk doesn’t feel he’s been treated properly in WWE. We’ve had this problem before. MVP was another one who felt he wasn’t treated well and has gone on to have a prolific career in Japan. Same with A-Train. I have more respect for a guy who leaves the company to better himself in another territory. But all roads lead back to Rome. If you’re successful, you’ll find your way back.”

John Cena Praises The Miz, Maryse Booted From Facebook, More

— John Cena put over The Miz on his Twitter account this morning for his dedication to the WWE brand.

“CeNation. I do not think there is anyone in the WWE that works harder outside the ring than The Miz. That type of effort is truly amazing,” Cena wrote. “It is great to see other superstars so passionate about this brand. His work does not go un noticed.”

Regarding upcoming events, Cena wrote: “Last RAW before MITB. In Boston. I’m sure next Sunday in Chicago….the fans will be a little salty….maybe more than salty.”

— Facebook deleted Maryse’s fan page last week.

“Hey Guyyyyys, Facebook deleted my FanPage, so I DO NOT have an account as for now,” she wrote on Twitter. “Check out frenchkissmaryse.com for updates. Be sexy.”

Gail Kim Responds To Report, Punk To Face Cena In Street Fight

— Gail Kim responded to yesterday’s online report concerning comments she made on Twitter venting about the WWE Divas being underutilized. She says she never mentioned ‘creative team’ and feels the report blew her remarks out of proportion.

She wrote, “Wow! Haha people are blowing up my twitter. I’m glad everyone is as p#!@%*#ionate as I am when it comes to wrestling but you’re also feeding into these gossip reporting sites that blew a reply to someone out of proportion, but hey I guess it all comes with the territory.

“I replied in a truthful way but I never used the word(s) creative team etc. But people will read what they want and interpret it the way they want as well so I can’t stop that…so enjoy! Go nuts gossiping!”

— CM Punk is being advertised to face John Cena in a Street Fight at next week’s Monday Night Raw event at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.

CM Punk Puts Over John Cena, WM28 Travel Package Info & More

– WWE Champion John Cena and CM Punk have had a lot of negative things to say about each other in recent weeks leading up to their showdown at Money in the Bank on 7/17, but the two superstars had very nice things to say about one another following a recent match.

After John Cena defeated CM Punk in the main event of the WWE’s recent live event in Brisbane, Australia, Punk grabbed a microphone from ringside and actually put over the WWE champion. Punk says that while The Rock is off filming movies, Cena remains part of the WWE universe and performs in sickness and in health. Punk and Cena shook hands and Punk went to the back.

Cena then grabbed the mic and put over CM Punk also putting over Punk and showing respect. Cena called Punk the best wrestler in WWE today and said their Money in the Bank match will be the match of the year – even bigger than he and The Rock at next year’s WrestleMania.

John Cena Talks About His Upcoming Match With CM Punk

WWE Champion John Cena was interviewed by the Chicago Tribune this week to discuss the upcoming Money In The Bank pay-per-view event which takes place from the Windy City on Sunday, July 17th.

With CM Punk’s upcoming departure from WWE, his industry-rattling shoot promo from Monday’s RAW and the disciplinary ramification that followed, the WWE title match between him and Cena is now looking like a must-see match.

Cena tells the Tribune that his match with Punk is still on, but there’s still enough time before the 17th for Punk to do something stupid:

“From what I understand, he’s suspended, but I think the match will happen. (Punk) reached an agreement to not talk badly about WWE. Technically, it’s two weeks before Money in the Bank, so he’s still got two weeks to screw it up for himself.”

Cena also put over the significance and magnitude of MITB, insisting anything can happen:

“WWE has a lot of events, but rarely do you see something this controversial and hostile. I think people will talk about Money in the Bank for years to come. It will be a great moment for Chicago. A guy like CM Punk on live TV, you don’t know what he’ll do. I’m prepared for anything.”

Orton Admits To Drug Overdose, Knocks Cena, Rock & Kelly Kelly

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton participated in an interview with Phoenix, Arizona based rock station 98KUPD promoting this week’s SmackDown tapings. Highlights from the interview are as follows.

* Orton discussed his past issues with drug abuse, including an incident in 2006 where he overdosed, stopped breathing and his wife called an ambulance to save his life. Orton said he and his family discuss the bad choices he’s made in WWE’s upcoming DVD release, Randy Orton: The Evolution of a Predator

“I was ashamed of it for a long time, but now talking about it and getting it off my chest—when my in-laws and mom watches it, they’re going to cry. My wife talks about when I stopped breathing and the ambulance came,” Orton said.

* Orton noted his recent concussion at a live event in Spain, saying the Raw taping the day after was “the biggest blur” and that he “couldn’t focus or concentrate.” He said it was the sixth concussion he had suffered, which had WWE worried. He said it was three years since his previous concussion, and that he had suffered some “bad ones” earlier in his career.

* Orton was broached on the subject of not being able to say he’s a wrestler, but rather, a “WWE Superstar.” Orton added, “Honestly, a lot of things we’ve talked about thus far in this interview, they’d be upset with. I’m not like, ‘eff it,’ but I try to be real.”

* Orton shared a story of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson trying to get him in trouble prior to WrestleMania. Orton said he gave his opinion on The Rock during an interview with ESPN—that he wasn’t buying his return speech about returning to WWE and never leaving again. Orton said Johnson called management and claimed the WWE Superstar slammed him and Triple H in the interview. Orton feels Rock mentioned Triple H to grab their attention even though he didn’t criticize “The Game” in the interview.

Orton said he had “got in trouble” and “made Vince mad” for his statements. He feels the interview was “blown out of proportion” and that Johnson should have confronted him over his remarks, rather than complaining to Vince McMahon and management.

* Orton said Cena is “light years” ahead of everyone in WWE on the microphone, including The Rock. Orton then criticized Cena’s wrestling ability by laughing at his in-ring style.

“When I watch him, I feel he’s a little stiff, hard to move, robotic. It certainly hasn’t hurt him. I’m much better than John Cena, but on the mic, he’s light-years ahead of all of us, including The Rock,” Orton said.

— Orton knocked the actresses who have portrayed his wife on television.

“Both those women were actresses. Not even actresses. They were like models who couldn’t act; it was awful. (hosts laughed) It actually ruined both segments because they couldn’t act,” Orton said.

— Orton brought up Chris Jericho, who said he is missed as a locker room leader. When asked about Downfall on ABC, Orton said he doesn’t think Jericho received permission from WWE to host the game show. He said there was some conflict over the matter, but Jericho is the type to approach Vince McMahon.

“Jericho is type of the guy to go in Vince’s office and tell him this is what he’s doing and tough,” Orton said. “A lot of newer, younger guys are intimidated by Vince. They’re scared to knock on his door. Jericho—I miss him being around—would go tell McMahon what’s going on.”

— Spured on by the hosts, Orton levied some unflattering remarks towards WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly after saying he worked a brief romance storyline with her a few years ago.

“I would be a method actor, and actually sleep with her,” joked host John Holmberg.

“I could name a few method actors in WWE,” Orton replied. “Like, ten guys.”

The hosts tried to pry names from Orton, who tried to deflect from the topic by joking that it’s all the big guys on the roster. Orton and the hosts continued to joke about who Kelly has or hasn’t slept with throughout the show.

— Several other minor topics were discussed including his baby oil look, whether he’s defecated in the ring, wishing there were more wrestlers like Sheamus, Mark Henry being difficult to work with, and more. The full interview is available here.

“The divide between those who stand with us and those who stand against us is becoming more aggressive,” Cena wrote. “I love it. I think it makes for an unreal WWE experience.”
