  • VIDEO Of John Cena’s Battle Rap On RAW Dissing The Rock

In case you missed it from RAW, John Cena returned to his hip hop roots and served The Rock a lesson in basic thugganomics:

  • John Cena Says He’s Ready For The Rock Tonight On RAW

On tonight’s episode of WWE RAW, John Cena will respond to The Rock’s comments about him on last week’s show.

Cena wrote the following about The Rock on Twitter on Monday morning:

“CeNation. Handled business last night. Tonight I will see what we do about the rock. If he wants some…come get some.”

    “This could be very interesting.”

“Ps..grabbed a spare steel chain and lock off the elimination chamber just in case…gotta go now. Big peek a boo tournament b4 raw :)”

Cena saying he grabbed a steel chain and lock could be a sign that we’ll see his old “rapper” gimmick return tonight, but that’s just speculation.

At this time, there’s been no indication that The Rock will be appearing on RAW tonight. Cena won the RAW brand Elimination Chamber match at Sunday’s pay-per-view, so he will challenge The Miz for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania.

With The Rock calling out John Cena and the Miz last week on RAW, it should be interesting to see whether The Rock gets factored into the WWE championship match at WrestleMania.

  • Two Top Title Matches Set for WrestleMania XXVII

John Cena prevailed over Randy Orton, CM Punk, John Morrison, R-Truth and Sheamus in Raw’s Elimination Chamber Match tonight at Elimination Chamber, last pinning The Straight Edge Superstar. He is set for a WWE Championship Match at WrestleMania XXVII against The Miz, who retained his title against Jerry Lawler.

Earlier in the show, Edge retained the World Heavyweight Championship in the SmackDown Elimination Chamber Match, outlasting Big Show, Rey Mysterio, Kane, Wade Barrett and Drew McIntyre. His triumph in the Elimination Chamber solidified his main event match with 2011 Royal Rumble winner Alberto Del Rio at WrestleMania.

  • JR Blog: The Rock Calling Out Cena, RAW GM’s Identity & More

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has updated his blog, which you can read in its entirety at JRsBarBQ.com Here are some highlights of what JR wrote about:

The Rock Calling Out John Cena: “Some fans are hammering us on Twitter @JRsBBQ proclaiming that it will be Rock vs. Cena at WM27. That’s not what I heard. I heard that Rock was Hosting the event which works very well for me. Will there be some sort of Rock/Cena interaction? Sounds that way to me which is why I’m ‘staying tuned.’”

The Rock Returning Full Time: “Is the Rock coming back to wrestle full time? That’s not what I got out of Raw’s most electrifying moment in years Monday night. Rock is making an appearance at WM27 to contribute in a major, likely shocking, way to the biggest WWE PPV of the year. Bottom line regarding this question on Twitter is that I DON’T KNOW but I would doubt it. I’m very excited about Wrestlemania. My black hat’s off to WWE.”

The RAW GM’s Identity: “I don’t know and furthermore I don’t care. When we’re supposed to know we will. I’m much more interested in the build to WM27 than I ever will be about who the mysterious (not my descriptor) Raw General manager may or may not be.”

  • The Rock Talks John Cena, WrestleMania & Why He’s Back

Following Monday’s RAW, The Rock took part in an online chat at the WWE website. Here are some highlights of what the Great One said about:

Why He’s Returning Now: “Because I felt the time was right to so something special. Not only can I feed my own need and desire to perform. More importantly than that, do something special for you WWE fans. ”

His Goal For WrestleMania: “My goal is to create an incredible show. The guys have prepared for this night all year and they are going to put on incredible wrestling matches and I am there to not only support their matches but work with the great WWE production team and put on an electrifying show. That means I will be backstage and in the ring creating unforgettable and iconic WrestleMania moments. ”

John Cena: “John Cena said a variety of things that came across my desk which at first I thought was interesting and then I felt was laughable because the comments really didn’t make any sense to me. To be clear, not that they ever make me mad. I just thought the comments were an interesting choice of things to say

  • More The Rock Hosting Wrestlenia & Cena Confrontation

On Monday’s WWE RAW, it was announced that WWE legend and Hollywood megastar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be returning to World Wrestling Entertainment on April 3rd as the special Guest Host for WrestleMania 27.

On RAW, The Rock called out John Cena, saying he wanted to see Cena face-to-face at WrestleMania and make him pay for the comments he made about The Rock after he left WWE. The Rock mocked Cena’s look and his gimmick, which got a huge reaction from the crowd.

The Rock said he might get into it with John Cena, The Miz and whoever else he gets into when he’s at WrestleMania.

  • *Spoiler* Details On John Cena’s New Movie “Blood Brothers”

Thanks to Anthony Maurizio and PWInsider.com for the following notes from WWE Studios’ screening of Blood Brothers starring John Cena this week:

“I attended the test screening in Port Chester, NY last night of John Cena’s new film “Blood Brothers” from WWE Studios, and was selected to be part of a focus group afterward.

The movie was a surprisingly well-done, fast-paced film, not too over-the-top on senseless action and not too brutally drawn-out. Cena’s acting is once again akin to his backstage WWE promos, where he tries hard but you get the occasional reminder that he is indeed acting. Not an award-winning performance, but not horrible either.

Ethan Embry as Cena’s brother was a high point of the film, one of the most featured roles the guy had since “Can’t Hardly Wait” and “Vegas Vacation”. Still a funny dude, and a good actor. Amy Smart played the sister trying to reunite the three brothers.

The focus group after was in the first couple theater rows, and the area was rigged with tape recorders for WWE Studios to listen to. A theater ambassador was asking questions about the movie and our opinions. It got a generally-positive response, even from the girls in the group. Some of the items discussed were changing the title (as the “Blood Brothers” title hints at towards a horror genre tone to some audience demographics), the comparison of the movie to “Four Brothers”, Cena’s acting ability, Amy Smart’s acting (which others attempted to bury but I applauded her for her performance), and it’s comparison to other WWE films.

There were some weird responses in the focus group like not enough bloodshed in the movie, it being too “family-friendly”, people claiming vital scenes that were integral to the movie’s story progression were unnecessary.

I went on a little bit of a tirade commending Suburban Commando and Mr. Nanny as my favorite films ever featuring a wrestling star, and generated a reaction. And when asked what other superstars should be in a WWE film, I randomly ranted and raved about Macho Man Randy Savage deserving a WWE film role and got a positive reaction out of the group and moderator. I figured bringing up those items would be a big frown or a look of frustration on the face of Executive Producer Vincent K. McMahon. Haha.”

“Lots of posts about my language last night on Raw. I do apologize. It was out of line and I was indeed fined. If I have offended anyone it was not my intention.”

“I was very frustrated about being hurt and not able to compete. I lost my cool. I am sorry. Next time I will use something more creative like ‘whoop yer crap locker’ or ‘whoop yer dump box.’”

This is almost certainly a storyline and Cena actually being fined is highly unlikely.

Cena’s gotten a lot of criticism for his childish insults (such as using the word “poopie”) – so please John, let’s stay away from “crap locker” and “dump box.”

    — When the rating is announced for last night’s episode of WWE RAW, it likely will not be pretty. Monday’s BCS National Championship game on ESPN (between the Oregon Ducks and the Auburn Tigers) drew a staggering 16.1 overnight cable rating, according to TVByTheNumbers.com. If that number holds up, it would make that game the most-watched show in the history of cable television. The ending of the match was said to be very exciting, Orton and Cena hit their finishers for the win.

    – Several people in WWE have commented on Shawn Michaels being the first name announced for the WWE Hall of Fame’s Class of 2011.

  • Triple H’s Power In WWE, Cena & Mysterio Injury Updates

    – With Shane McMahon gone from WWE, Vince McMahon’s daughter Stephanie and her husband Triple H are seen as the successors to the WWE empire. Triple H has been a power player behind the scenes for years and many in the company see this year as a time when Vince will shift more responsibilities to his son in law. While Vince is not going anywhere any time soon, the overall feeling within WWE is that the company will be in good hands under Triple H and Stephanie.

    – There’s still no word yet on the severity of John Cena’s hip injury or when he will be ready to return to action. Everybody is hoping that Cena will be healthy enough to compete at the Royal Rumble and he will be keeping a very light schedule until then.

    – As we reported earlier this week, Rey Mysterio has been pulled from this weekend’s WWE live events and will be replaced by Big Show in matches against Alberto Del Rio. This is part of John Laurinaitis agreeing to give Mysterio an even easier schedule while he’s recovering from a shoulder tear. Rey will continue to work television and pay-per-view events, but like Cena, will be kept off live events for the time being while his injury heals.
