John Cena To Debut New Finishing Move At Upcoming WWE Live Event From China

John Cena announced on Twitter recently that he will be making his in-ring return at the upcoming WWE Live Event from Shanghai, China on September 1st.

After the announcement, the company posted an interview with Cena, who has been training at the JC Stunt Team International Training Centre on their official YouTube channel.

During the interview, the Cenation Leader revealed that he will be debuting a new finishing move soon. Below are some of the highlights from his interview:

Why his new finishing maneuver is extremely powerful:

“[Not] because of my proportion and flexibility, but because of the movement itself, it’s extremely powerful. And the WWE Universe knows as the superstars become smarter and smarter and I have more and more matches, I have reworked Attitude Adjustment just about every way I can. It used to be about 100% with its batting average and now it’s about 50%, maybe less. So not only is this a new maneuver that has a true foundation in the Chinese culture which I am very proud of because I would love to pay respect to my experience here but it’s also extremely powerful”

When will we see the debut of the new move:

“If I tell you when, I give an advantage to competition. Here is a small hint, there is talk of a September 1st event in Shanghai and I couldn’t think of a better way to show my appreciation for China, Chinese people, and Chinese culture than to debut what I think is a finishing move that will provide me victory in Shanghai on September 1st.”

The incident apparently even warranted Wilson to believe she could be kicked off the plane. Wilson asked fans to bail her out of jail should something happen. Here’s Wilson’s account of the incident:

“Officer BRACERO. . I thoroughly enjoyed the very detailed pat down your female officer gave me. (My choice) & watching u hold, swab & look at every piece in my purse slowly. feels dirty now w/your lovely energy.

“All cuz I giggled that u were so scared of my 3 lb dog. PS. I hope u get laid soon. Pss. It was also sooo funny that time when u laughed & told your co-worker I wanted a female pat down.

“Haha crazy huh?! If I get pulled off my plane & put in jail can someone please come bail me out?”

This was the second match of their rivalry and the first big match for Styles after splitting up with the Club and being drafted to SmackDown Live during the 2016 drafts.

Styles scored a clean victory over the Leader of Cenation. This win eventually earned him a WWE Championship match against Dean Ambrose and is believed to be the start of AJ’s run as the face of SmackDown Live.

Raw Stars Work SmackDown Dark Match

We noted before how the dark match after SmackDown Live this week saw WWE Champion AJ Styles battling The United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura in a Champion vs. Champion match.

However, this wasn’t the only dark match of the night and for the surprise of fans, two Raw Stars Titus O’Neil and Mike Kanellis worked a bout before the show.

The match saw O’Neil defeating Kanellis who has been off TV for a while. No word yet on why the company used these Raw stars on SmackDown Live but a speculation is that they used hometown star Titus to boost ticket sales for the show.

  • John Cena May Have Teased Upcoming Match On Social Media

John Cena May Have Teased Upcoming Match On Social Media

The build for the upcoming SummerSlam pay-per-view is up and running but one name has yet to be mentioned on WWE television and that’s John Cena.

WWE is not advertising Cena for any upcoming events. He was last seen when he beat Triple H in the opening match on the main card of the Greatest Royal Rumble pay-per-view event in April.

However, over the weekend, Cena had fans talking about an interesting photo on his official Instagram account which led to speculation that he was hinting at a match against The Undertaker. Their first encounter was at WrestleMania 34 earlier this year and was a short match which led to a lot of fans believing that they could do a rematch in the future.

Also, a fan asked longtime pro wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer on Twitter if he thinks Cena will appear at SummerSlam, which Meltzer responded with the following:

Another interesting turn about this speculation is the fact that since 2004, Cena has worked SummerSlam every year and with WWE considering it being the second biggest event of the year just behind WrestleMania, one would have to assume that there’s a good chance Cena will work this upcoming event.

However, as of this writing, this is pure speculation as WWE has yet to confirm Cena making an appearance at the show.

  • John Cena Comments On Turning Heel

John Cena Comments On Turning Heel

John Cena took part in a Q&A session at the San Diego Comic Con recently. He was asked what it is like to play a villainous role in a movie. In answering the question, Cena also addressed the possibility of his WWE character turning heel.

“To actually answer your question, I think it is a really great opportunity,” Cena said. “I have had a great career in the WWE and for that entire time I have been the good guy and that kind of went into my films so far, and now it doesn’t seem like my character in the WWE will ever evolve into that bad guy role that perhaps a lot of people have wanted; so this is kind of a way for my fans from that aspect of my career to see that side of me.

So, don’t expect heel John Cena in the WWE – that’s Inside Baseball talk for some of you,” Cena continued. “But it means bad guy John Cena isn’t happening there, so this is that chance for me.”

    Heel John Cena

According to former WWE writer, Kevin Eck, there were plans to turn Cena heel in 2012.

“We were very close. We had Vince sign off on it at one point and Cena was on board to do it,” Eck said. “We started making plans for it and then Vince got cold feet “. He further added, “we had signed an exclusive Cena merchandise deal with Walmart”.

John Cena Comments On Daniel Bryan’s WWE In-Ring Return

John Cena has given his take on Daniel Bryan being medically allowed to return to the ring under the WWE banner.

Cena recently spoke with Sports Illustrated for a new interview and during the interview, he discussed WWE clearing the former World Heavyweight Champion after being on the sidelines for two years due to his history with concussions.

Cena stated that from a co-worker’s standpoint, it’s great to have him back because Bryan is very good at what he does. Switching to a company-standpoint, he noted that it’s also great because audiences will show up to see him.

“Speaking from a personal standpoint on what I know about Bryan Danielson, I know that he is dedicated to wrestling and loves wrestling. He was so heartbroken when it was taken away from him before it was his decision to give it up. I can’t tell you how happy I am for him to go out there again and live his dream. He gives wrestling his all, and it’s great that he now has the outlet again where it can give something back to him.”

Undertaker Reportedly More Likely For SummerSlam Than John Cena

It’s looking more likely that WWE fans see The Undertaker at SummerSlam later this year than John Cena.

According to a report from Cageside Seats, it’s being considered that “The Deadman” is more likely to compete in Brooklyn than “The Leader Of The Cenation.” Both Cena and Taker’s last appearances in WWE came at the Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia this past April.

Undertaker defeated Rusev (who had some assistance from Aiden English) in a Casket match, while Cena defeated Triple H in singles action. Undertaker is currently on the books for a match with Triple H at the WWE Super Show-Down event in Australia on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

SummerSlam will go down live on pay-per-view (PPV) from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on August 19, 2018.

Former WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella took to her YouTube channel, The Bella Twins, and offered an update on her romantic relationship with 16-time World Champion John Cena. Bella first offered an update on whether or not she and Cena were still together.

Nikki admits that she and Cena are trying to work things out, but didn’t specifically note that they were back together – saying “Hopefully, one day we’ll get back together”:

“It has been a super emotional roller coaster ride and I think it’s hard for people to understand because we film and then things get shown a few months after and people are like, ‘Are they together? Are they not?’ Because I am a reality star, and I do have a reality show, I feel like I have to say what’s the update on John and I, but right now we’re just friends.

“We are both working on each other and trying to work on us. We talk everyday, he is not only my best friend, but he truly is one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met. He has patience with me and has really taught me a lot over over the past few months.

“I think one of those things is an inner-strength that I thought I had, but didn’t realize how strong I had it. I don’t know, I do have hope for us. … Hopefully, one day we’ll get back together, and if we don’t, we just both want each other to be very, very happy.”

She then discussed her aspirations to one day marry, and if she does she’d like to marry once and only once:

“Right now, John is in China filming a movie. I hate to say ‘perfect timing,’ but it’s giving us this time in life to see what we want for the future. I know some people – because of the media or what they read on social media – they look at this as a very negative thing, but for those of you who are going to get married, or are engaged, or who are married, understand that this is forever.

“I don’t want to be someone who is divorced or has kids and gets a divorce, I truly want to walk down that aisle, give my vows, and do this one time. So, there’s a lot of issues that I had to deal with and really want to know what I want for the rest of my life.”

Bella also hinted that the season finale of Total Bellas is going to be ‘raw and real,’ and also said fans will then understand why she and Cena are in the current situation they’re in:

“The season finale is very tough, I will just warn you all. It’s just very honest, raw, and real, and you will see why John and I are where we’re at today.”

John Cena Reaches Out-Of-Court Settlement With Ford

John Cena found himself in quite a predicament with the Ford Motor Company not too long ago.

The company sued the 16-time WWE World Champion for selling a Ford GT he bought that included a contract saying he couldn’t sell it until two years after he had purchased it. Cena got the Ford GT in September of 2017. He sold the vehicle a month later. After Cena sold the $450,000 Ford GT, the motor company sued him that November.

In addition to the cost of the car, Ford was seeking $75,000 in damages. Cena claimed the terms of not being allowed to sell the car were not made aware to him and he asked the judge to throw out the case in February.

According to a report from Autoblog, Cena and Ford have come to an out-of-court settlement on the matter. Cena will give Ford an undisclosed amount in the form of a settlement, and Ford is prepared to donate it to charity.

Cena released the following statement on the matter:

“I love the Ford GT and apologize to Ford, and encourage others who own the car to respect the contract. I am pleased we could resolve this matter outside of court, and that a worthy charity will benefit from one of the most iconic cars in the world.”

Video: John Cena Says He Wants To Be A Dad, Would He Let His Child Wrestle?

TMZ Sports recently uploaded a new interview with WWE Superstar John Cena. The interviewer asked some questions about if Cena had reconciled with Nikki Bella, but he didn’t answer them.

When asked if he wanted to marry Nikki, Cena responded by saying “It’s something I would like if the situation is right.” When asked about whether or not he wanted to have kids, Cena admitted that he know would love to be a dad:

“Of course, I would love to be a dad. And by the way, that’s an about-face for me and I realize very much that I have been steadfast in saying that I don’t want children,” Cena said.

“But I’m a little older now, a little wiser. At age 18 we say things different than age 25 and 35. I would love, only because I dedicated my life to my work and now I’m realizing there’s life and it exists and it is beautiful. I think part of that is being a parent and we’ll see. Is that good enough for you?”

Cena was then asked if he’d allow his children to become professional wrestlers. The Leader Of The Cenation said he’d support his children in anything they wanted to do with their lives if they were following their dreams:

“My God, I don’t know what I would do with my life if my parents hadn’t supported my career. So, would I allow my child to chase their dream, essentially is what you’re asking me? I think that’s what life is all about.”

  • Former WWE Writer Reveals Backstage Reaction To John Cena’s Early Push

Former WWE Writer Reveals Backstage Reaction To John Cena’s Early Push

The 16 Time World Champion John Cena was pushed as the top star of WWE after Brock Lesnar left the promotion to pursue a career in NFL and the rest is history.

However, even before this, the company showed faith in Cena and not too long after his debut he had become an important part of the SmackDown Brand.

WWE recently released a clip from the upcoming episode of Something Else To Wrestle With podcast which is scheduled to air on WWE Network later this week.

In the clip, the host Bruce Prichard talked about the early push of John and recalled a match from the early days of his career where he teamed up with Undertaker to defeat the team of Kurt Angle and Chris Jericho.

Revealing the backstage reaction to his push, Prichard who is a former WWE writer and producer revealed that it was met with jealousy by some people because Cena was put in a program immediately after his arrival and he was on TV as soon as he got there.

Continuing on the topic, Bruce revealed that there was a lot of rumbling from the people backstage but the fact that the audience was getting behind him made the difference.

While his early push was nothing compared to what was waiting for John in his career later on, the fact that the audience got behind him in his early days probably worked as a foundation for Cena and it presumably is the reason why Officials later put him in the place originally intended for Brock Lesnar.

  • John Cena Reflects On WrestleMania Loss To The Undertaker, Praises The Miz

John Cena Reflects On WrestleMania Loss To The Undertaker, Praises The Miz

John Cena has addressed his loss to The Undertaker at WrestleMania 34.

As seen at WrestleMania 34 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana on the WWE Network back in April, The Undertaker did, in fact, accept Cena’s challenge to a match after weeks of speculation that it may not happen as The Deadman was last seen on TV at this point back in January.

Before the match started, the referee ran down to the ring and told Cena something which made him upset. Cena got out of the ring, the lights went off and Elias walked out instead of The Undertaker. Elias walked down to the ring while cutting a promo. Cena ended up hitting an AA to Elias.

Then a spotlight hit the ring with Taker’s hat and jacket with a lightning bolt hitting it. Lights got out then back on with the hat and jacket gone. The gong hit and Taker’s music played. Taker came out as his deadman gimmick instead of the rumored biker gimmick. Taker won the match in very quick fashion.

Cena recently spoke with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated where he talked about the match as well as gave some praise to The Miz, who beat Cena for the WWE Title at WrestleMania 27.

“I did not do well in this match. My ‘WrestleMania Moment’ was to spend the time in the crowd and not do well in a very short performance, but I loved it because it got the job done. The focus was not me, the focus was someone else. Often times, we look at things so selfishly, asking, ‘What’s in it for me?’ Well, what was in it for me was the chance to reintroduce a WWE icon. I had to stretch the suspension of disbelief to its breaking point to do it, but it was awesome. Every single week, the crowd would chant at the top of its lungs and no one thought I would be sitting in the crowd at WrestleMania, but I was able to do that. I was able to go out and be handily defeated in three minutes and bring back an icon.

“That is a message to any performer who is complaining about their spot or that, creatively, they have nothing going for them. I’ve been first, I’ve been in the middle, I’ve been last. I just want to go out there and do something. There are a few performers who share my ideology, with The Miz being one of them. That’s why he is skyrocketing into a new bracket as we speak, and I can’t wait to see what he does next week. But there is also a lot of disdain and complacency. You should be happy with any sort of role, even if it is getting your tail kicked in.”

Cena continued by commenting on the build to his WrestleMania 34 match against Taker by stating, “I loved it, I truly did, and I loved it for so many reasons. Our job is to entertain the audience, so that’s number one. The story was amazingly unbelievable to the public, with a healthy, marquee superstar admitting, ‘Hey, WrestleMania spots are earned. I’ve been on a losing streak, I’ve exhausted every option, so I shouldn’t go to WrestleMania, especially with the flux of new talent.’ But the fans, thinking they know that John Cena is a WWE staple and that I didn’t have another project that same day, thought there was no way I wouldn’t have had a match. Even if people did or didn’t attach themselves to the story, I liked the fact that people still remained interested.”

The sports entertainment company is not advertising Cena for any upcoming events. He was last seen when he beat Triple H in the opening match on the main card of the Greatest Royal Rumble pay-per-view event in April.

John Cena Reveals Which Former TNA Star He Wants To Face

Many believe that John Cena is in the best phase of his career right now and in the past 2-3 years, he has helped in introducing a number of NXT Stars to the main roster.

Recently there has been another fellow from the development territory who has expressed his desire to face the Cenation Leader and it appears that Cena himself is interested in going against him too.

John took part in a Q&A session at the MegaCon Convention this past weekend and during the session; he was asked which current NXT Star he wants to face.

Answering the question, the 16 Time World Champion said that he puts the former TNA Star EC3 on the top of his list because he was with WWE before and he is now back:

“There is a fellow who just arrived and his name is EC3, I put him at the top of the list because he has been involved with WWE before, and he is now back, reinvigorated, revitalized, in good shape and is feeling confident about himself.”

What’s interesting to note here is that in a recent interview with WWE.com, EC3 had also made similar comments about John, saying that he wants to face the Former World Champion and  “vanquish” him at WrestleMania.

Furthermore, the two have also been trading shots at each other on twitter, and it looks only a matter of time before we see these two WWE stars confronting each other.

John Cena Talks Possibility Of Being A Paul Heyman Guy

As we’ve previously noted, WWE Superstar John Cena recently made an appearance at the MegaCon in Orlando where he answered questions from fans. One such question was about the 16-time WWE World Champion becoming a Paul Heyman Guy.

Cena noted that while he goes to Heyman for various opinions and insight behind-the-scenes, he believes The Advocate is best utilized for those who have trouble on the microphone. He also said he thinks Heyman would be ‘wasted’ on him:

“Paul is an extremely valuable asset because of his accomplishments. I have relied on Paul a lot for opinions and insight behind the curtain. I think Paul is best for those who have trouble articulating opinions when they have [a microphone] in their hand.

“I enjoy being able to relate to all of you and I enjoy the negative response and the positive response that comes from being so honest after 15 years of us being together as friends, partners, family whatever you want to call it.

“Paul would be wasted with me and me likewise with Paul. Paul is a great vehicle for someone who can’t describe themselves but he is a wealth of knowledge and insight behind the curtain that I regularly lean on.”

Batista On Who Is Being Misused By WWE

Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet recently posted a photo on Twitter comparing Dolph Ziggler to Owen Wilson in Zoolander. Former WWE Champion Batista took some time to respond to the Tweet.

John Cena Gives High Praise To WWE NXT Star

John Cena has given some praise to one WWE NXT star.

The former WWE champion recently took part in a Q&A session at MegaCon in Orlando where he talked about various topics. During this appearance, a fan asked Cena if he would rather face NXT stars Adam Cole, Velveteen Dream or Ricochet in a match.

Cena revealed that he would rather face Velveteen Dream and explained why while giving the exciting wrestling prospect some high praise. Here is what he had to say (transcript courtesy of IWNerd):

“I would rather face Velveteen Dream. You know how in the Star Wars movies the old Jedis can look at the rookie Jedis and be like, ‘I think that’s the one.’ I kinda have a weird, odd midichlorian feeling about Velveteen Dream. I think there’s something special there.”

As of this writing, the sports entertainment company is not advertising Cena for any upcoming events. He was last seen when he beat Triple H in the opening match on the main card of the Greatest Royal Rumble pay-per-view event in April.

Nikki Bella Fires Back At News Outlet’s “Sources,” Update On Jason Jordan

Nikki Bella On News Outlet’s “Sources”

As we’ve recently noted, PEOPLE reports that John Cena and Nikki Bella are “basically back together.” A source had this to say about the situation to PEOPLE:

“They’re basically back together. This was never really about ending their relationship— it was about calling off a wedding because something didn’t feel right,” the source says. “It was a wedding that was entered into under false pretenses.

“She was pretending she was okay with not having a kid, he was pretending he absolutely couldn’t and wouldn’t budge on that point. They both got a wake-up call once they canceled the wedding, and they both realized they could fix what was broken.

“He has poured his heart out to her, and she was more than ready to take him back once she heard what she needed to hear. He’s been saying and doing all the right things.”

Nikki took to Twitter in what seems like a response to the report, saying she’d like to meet these “sources” one day:

    Update On Jason Jordan

Former RAW and SmackDown Live Tag Team Champion Jason Jordan has been out-of-action since February after undergoing a minimally invasive operation to decompress the nerve,” in his neck.

PWInsider‘s Mike Johnson is now reporting that Jordan is scheduled to be backstage for next weeks episode of Monday Night RAW in Richmond, Virginia. Perhaps Jordan could be making his return to TV on this episode.

It should be noted that Jordan’s former Tag Team partner, Chad Gable, is now on RAW and is having issues with Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler. Jordan could perhaps return to assist Gable in a feud against McIntyre and Ziggler.

John Cena Has Fans Talking After Latest Cryptic Message

John Cena has WWE fans talking after his latest post on his official Twitter account.

On Wednesday, the former WWE Champion took to the social media platform and wrote about “trying to change someone.” Thus, this has led to a lot of speculation online that he was making a reference to his relationship with Nikki Bella.

It’s been well documented that the hurdles in their relationship have been the fact that Cena was against marriage as well as having kids. Although he gave into the marriage part, it’s been rumored that having children may have led to their engagement being called off. He wrote the following:

“Never try to change someone. They have every right to live their lives how they want. Instead, look inward and work to be the best you possible. #NeverGiveUp.”

Cena was last seen on WWE television when he beat Triple H in a singles match at the Greatest Royal Rumble event last month, which served as the opening match of the main card. It should be noted that WWE is not advertising him for any events for the time being.
