John Cena Meets With Nintendo Execs, Shane Mo-Cap WWE 2K18 Video, More

– John Cena met with Nintendo executives on Tuesday, including Nintendo of America President Reggie Fills-Aime and Nintendo’s Head of Sales and Marketing, Doug Bowser.

It’s unclear at this point what the meeting was about, whether it’s related to WWE 2K18 coming to Nintendo Switch this fall or another project.

Cena worked with Nintendo earlier this year as part of the marketing campaign for the Nintendo Switch launch.

Roman Reigns Says He Respects John Cena, Jim Cornette Celebrates 35 Years

– Following his win over John Cena at last night’s (Sun. September 24, 2017) No Mercy pay-per-view (PPV), Roman Reigns took to Twitter to express his newfound respect for “The Leader Of The Cenation,” and declared that he’s still the ‘Top Dog’:

– Jim Cornette took to Twitter to celebrate 35 years since managing his first match: Sherri Martel vs. Velvet McIntyre on Memphis TV back in 1982:

John Cena Explains Why He Never Faced The Undertaker At WrestleMania

John Cena vs. The Undertaker. It’s the WrestleMania dream match that fans have been talking about for years, but will probably never see.

During his recent appearance on Edge & Christian’s E&C Pod of Awesomeness, the 16-time World Champion gave a pretty logical explanation why a match against Undertaker on the ‘grandest stage of them all’ never game together.

“We have to do the best for WrestleMania, period,” Cena explained. “That event is completely [essential to] the fiscal future of the company and every single year, there were plans to do the right thing for WrestleMania and that match was not in the plans. And that’s the best I can say.

“So many guys complain about not being in the last match, or a main event match, or with a certain partner. Man, if it was only work with people you’re comfortable with, I would’ve had another 10,000 matches with [Edge]. Like that’s the easy part. The difficult part as a professional is to take what they need you to do and make it creative.”

Cena is intrigued by the chance to face The Undertaker at WrestleMania, but only if that’s the best possible match-up for him at the time.

“In a perfect world, would I want to face The Undertaker at WrestleMania? That’s every pro wrestler’s dream! That’s any WWE Superstar’s dream, to work pretty much the maestro of WrestleMania at WrestleMania. That’s it! But if our company’s success depends on me doing something else, then my job is to do that something else. And I think the way all that went, I don’t have any regrets on the way any of that went. I think it was completely put together the right way. Would I have loved to do it? Yes! But I show up to work to do work.”

A similar argument line of reasoning could be applied to several other dream matches that never took place in WWE, such as Ric Flair vs. Hulk Hogan or Steve Austin vs. Hogan or Goldberg.

Considering The Undertaker’s sendoff after losing to Roman Reigns back in April at WrestleMania 33, another match for Taker next year in New Orleans seems like a fleeing possibility. If the Dead Man does decide to take one last ride, we can’t think of a better final opponent for him than John Cena.

5 Takeaways From WWE No Mercy 2017

WWE No Mercy 2017 aired last night from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Brock Lesnar defended his Universal Championship against Braun Strowman in the main event. In a match many thought was reserved for WrestleMania, John Cena faced Roman Reigns for the very first time. Here are my five takeawys from last night’s PPV:

Cesaro Is Tough As Hell

DKkM3uzU8AExGjO

Cesaro and Sheamus faced Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins last night at No Mercy for the RAW Tag Team Championships. During the match, Dean Ambrose catapulted Cesaro into the ring post. Cesaro smashed face-first into the post and completely messed up his front teeth. Cesaro got medical attention next to the ring but was back on the ring apron awaiting a tag only a minute later. Cesaro is one of the most talented performers on WWE’s roster and is a true professional. He went on to finish the remaining 10+ minutes of the match. Sheamus & Cesaro fell short at No Mercy, but their match with Ambrose and Rollins stole the show.

Nia Jax Is Ready To Become Champion

nia jax 2

Alexa Bliss defended her RAW Women’s Championship in a Fatal 5-Way against Bayley, Emma, Sasha Banks and Nia Jax. Alexa Bliss won the match and retained her title, but Nia Jax was the best part of this match. She showed off her strength by hitting a Samoan Drop on Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss at the same time. Jax got Powerbombed off the ring apron and crashed to the floor. It was announced that Asuka is making her debut on the RAW roster at WWE TLC 2017 on October 22nd. Asuka and Nia Jax have battled down in NXT, but Nia has improved a ton since then. I can’t wait to see the two battle again on the main roster and hopefully for the RAW Women’s Championship.

The Cruiserweight Division Doesn’t Matter

enzo amore

Enzo Amore defeated Neville last night at WWE No Mercy to become the new Cruiserweight Champion. He won the match after hitting a low-blow on Neville and then rolling him up for the pinfall. The match was astonishingly bad and when the crowd decided to make noise, they chanted “boring!”.

Neville destroyed the entire Cruiserweight Division but was made to look like an idiot last night at No Mercy. He had the match won numerous times, but ultimately decided to not go for the Red Arrow because the crowd cheered as he climbed the turnbuckle. It wound up costing him and he lost the much.

Enzo Amore is sometimes funny while cutting promos. He is never going to be good in the ring. WWE failed to build up anyone else on the 205 Live roster. Quite literally every single one of them is a better wrestler than Enzo Amore. However, thanks to WWE’s failures to build anyone up, Enzo Amore is now the Cruiserweight Champion. How is 205 Live doin? Not too good.

Braun Strowman’s Future Is Still Bright

Brock Lesnar defeated Braun Strowman last night in the main event of WWE No Mercy. The match was hyped up well for the past few weeks on RAW, but it wound up being just a decent match. Strowman had shown that he could dominate Lesnar on RAW recently and when he slammed him through two announce tables at SummerSlam. Even though Strowman lost tonight, it remains clear to me that Strowman is going to be integral part of WWE’s future.

I think he is already at the point where he should regularly be in the main event of WWE PPVs. While WWE might have other plans for now, there is no denying that Strowman has become a household name. Strowman lost tonight but he’ll be right back in the hunt for the Universal Championship in no time.

Roman Reigns Is The Guy

reigns no mercy

Whether you like it or not, Roman Reigns is “the guy” in WWE. I’m not a big fan of it myself, but it obvious that WWE is not going to shy away from pushing Roman Reigns at all costs. He defeated John Cena last night at No Mercy in a match that I thought would have been saved for WrestleMania. Cena raised Roman Reigns’ hand after the match and then went on RAW Talk and praised him some more.

Cena said that a burden was taken off his shoulders after his loss to Reigns. Cena also stated that Roman Reigns proved to him that he was in fact “the guy” over the past month leading up to last night’s match. Cena even became emotional during his appearance on RAW Talk and last night’s match clearly showed that Roman Reigns is without a doubt the top guy in WWE. He is the Big Dog and WWE appears to be his yard going forward for a long time.

John Cena: “I Lost To A Better Man. WWE’s Future Is In Great Hands”

John Cena lost tonight to Roman Reigns, despite hitting four Attitude Adjustments during the match. Reigns wound up getting the victory after connecting with a Superman Punch and following it up with a Spear.

John Cena was a guest on RAW Talk after WWE No Mercy 2017 went off the air. Cena said that he wanted to bring something out of Roman Reigns that he didn’t think anyone else had the courage to do. Cena stated that he built a career of earning respect and tonight Roman Reigns earned his respect.

Cena said that there have been Superstars for years that have failed to step up and take his place. He added that Roman stepped up in both in a way to communicate with the audience and in the ring. Cena praised Roman’s promo on him Monday night and said that he was beaten in the ring by a better man tonight.

John stated that he gave everything he had in the match and what tonight did was solidify Roman’s presence as “the guy”. Cena said that he watched Roman Reigns mature into “the guy” over this past month. He added that he sat in the ring after the match because he felt like a burden has been lifted off of his shoulders. Cena stated that it makes him feel really good knowing that he can believe in WWE’s future because of Roman Reigns.

Cena added that there is no shame in failing if you gave it your best. He said that he was very proud of Roman Reigns and that he earned his respect tonight. Renee Young asked what Cena said to Roman in the ring after the match but Cena didn’t reveal it. Cena said that he has been down the roads that Reigns is about to go on and wanted to say something to him about it after the match.

Cena then got emotional and said “transition is tough, but it is wonderful and beautiful. I am proud to be able to say that I lost to a better man tonight and that the future of this company is great hands”. Cena also said that he is not sure if he can keep going on the pace that he has been going. Cena stated that he’ll be like a weird Batman character and show up when they shine the light.

John said that Reigns needs to keep doing what he is doing and that he is very gifted. Lawler asked if Cena passed the torch tonight, Cena said that Reigns stepped up and took it. John added that you are only as good as your next one and Roman needs to continue to step up. He added that the sky is the limit for Roman Reigns, but he has to continue to show up and perform for the WWE Universe. Cena thanked the WWE Universe for being so generous to him. Cena said that he is not gone, but things are changing for him and we will go from there.

Roman Reigns Mocks John Cena, Elias Has Message For Apollo Crews, Stephanie McMahon

Roman Reigns fires shot at Cena ahead of their match tonight at No Mercy

Roman Reigns and John Cena have spent the past few weeks on RAW cutting promos on each other. Cena poked fun at Reigns for failing a drug test and Reigns blasted Cena for turning Hollywood and becoming a part-timer. Earlier today, Reigns sent out the following tweet and mocked Cena:

Elias delivers message to Apollo Crews

Elias will face Apollo Crews tonight during the No Mercy Kickoff Show. Elias posted the following video and warned Crews that he will not find peace in Titus Worldwide. Elias suggested that he should walk with him instead because he is the future of WWE.

Roman Reigns Talks Zipper Malfunctioning On RAW & John Cena Pointing It Out

WWE Superstar Roman Reigns recently made an appearance on CBS’ In This Corner podcast to promote his match with John Cena this weekend at the WWE’s No Mercy pay-per-view (PPV). During the interview, Reigns discussed his zipper malfunction on Monday Night RAW and John Cena taking advantage of it, as well as his feud with Cena helping improve his promo skills. You can check out the highlights here:

His zipper malfunctioning on Monday Night RAW and John Cena taking advantage:

“The funny thing is, my zipper literally broke like two minutes before I was walking out. Usually I do a last-minute check. Do I have boogers in my nose? Any like weird hair conditioner on my ears? Is my zipper up? I kind of push and normally you’ll check your zipper to make sure the teeth are right in place. I actually pushed right through it. The actual zipper handle popped off, and once that happens, you have to go out there in two minutes. It’s not like I’m just wearing trunks or something. I’ve got blousing straps at the bottom, and I would have to take everything off in order to get new pants on.”

Reigns didn’t skip a beat upon fielding the insult and responded to Cena’s ad-libbed comment by saying, “I busted it actually … big dog.” The joke instantly lit up social media.

“John being John, if anything presents itself, which I feel is fair game if it’s there to take it, and he did,” Reigns said. “Luckily, that’s one thing of just over the years going back and forth in locker rooms, I have a quick rebuttal with little things like that. It was just something that, thank God I was ready for it, but really he shocked me in bringing up. I thought I had it closed up the whole time but apparently not. I was peaking at him, I guess.”

His promo skills improving during his feud with Cena:

“It was nice to be able to change gears and get better at something. I think I’ve definitely gotten better on the stick working with John. I have to give him credit for that. Like he said in one of his opening promos, you either step up or you step aside.”

Roman Reigns Comments On His Backstage Relationship With John Cena

WWE Superstar Roman Reigns was recently a guest on the CBS “In This Corner” podcast to talk about his ongoing feud with John Cena, in which the pair will collide in one of the premiere bouts at this weekend’s No Mercy pay-per-view (PPV) event. “The Big Dog” discussed his backstage relationship with John Cena, if they’re friends, and if he has taken anything “The Leader Of The Cenation” has said in his promos to heart. You can check out the highlights below:

If he and John Cena are friends backstage:

“I will be completely honest. Me and John have always been cordial but I would never say we are close friends by any means. There is a business respect but I think that’s what makes it so special. We are truly competing against each other and I think people see that”

Has he taken anything Cena has said in his promos personally:

“It’s not like a situation where I am taking anything that he says to heart, because I don’t really care what he thinks about me, you know what I mean? If you care for somebody and they knife you, it will hurt your feelings and it can depress you. When you don’t care about somebody or their opinion, it doesn’t affect you. And that is what it is like with me and John”

John Cena Talks Missing Last Night’s RAW, WrestleMania Going To China, Never Give Up

16-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena recently did an interview with SCMP to discuss a variety of professional wrestling topics. “The Leader Of The Cenation” discussed missing last night’s (Mon. September 19, 2017) episode of Monday Night RAW, potential success of Chinese WWE Superstars and possibly seeing WrestleMania go to China, and his “Never Give Up” catchphrase. Check out the highlights here below:

Working live events and missing Monday’s RAW:

“I will literally spend more time in a fuselage than I will on the ground here, that’s how important this trip was to me. I was initially supposed to miss this event, and I bent time to be here. This is taking priority above a lot of things, including me being in the air the entire day on Monday, so you can do the maths to see how important this is.”

The potential success of WWE Superstars and possibly bringing WrestleMania to China:

“I think the possibilities are endless. Absolutely endless. Not only do I see potential success for Chinese superstars to move through the ranks, I envision a world where we do television broadcasts from over here. I envision a world where we do WrestleMania from here. So I would love to create a culture in China surrounding WWE, that’s with a strong developmental system for our superstars and hopefully a greater and greater live event presence. We encourage our audience to be in it and involved as they want. That culture is what really is going to drive our increased presence here. I hope I can encourage the crowd here to be … respectfully excited.”

His “Never Give Up” catchphrase being more than a marketing tool:

“It’s not something that I try to force people to understand. Those three words are led by example and led by action.

“It’s a great feeling to be able to check in and go to work and aside from calling it your job, to be able to affect people’s lives. If I can do both, I’m a super happy dude. I think the more fans in China that resonate with the WWE product, the more will like me and the more won’t like me. It’s the same everywhere.”

John Cena’s Dad Says Jinder Mahal Cannot Wrestle & Is Not A Worthy Champion

Jinder Mahal certainly has not been the most popular WWE Champion of all-time. Mahal won the WWE Championship on May 21st at Backlash. Since then, he has been able to hold onto the title with a ton of assistance from the Singh Brothers. Mahal defeated Shinsuke Nakamura at WWE SummerSlam by planting him with a Khallas after Samir and Sunil Singh interfered in the match. Mahal will once again have to defend his title against Nakamura next month, but this time surrounded by steel at WWE Hell in a Cell.

John Cena Sr. was a guest on Boston Wrestling Sports’ Wrestling Insiders show. During the interview, Cena Sr. was asked about Mahal as WWE Champion. Cena Sr. responded with the following:

“I do not think he is a good champion. I don’t think he is a worthy champion. I think they need to get somebody in there that can get people involved in the championship matches. I don’t think that he is the man for the job. The fans are going to get pretty tired pretty fast. They didn’t like Mahal to begin with and not because he is a good heel, it is because he cannot wrestle.”

Host of the show, Dan Mirade, compared Mahal’s reign to JBL’s title reign leading up until WrestleMania 21. Mirade stated that it has been a comparable run because it took some time for fans to warm up to JBL. However, fans wound up getting into it and every time he worked with a new babyface, the fans thought that this would finally be the guy to defeat him. Mirade believes that we are going to see the same thing with Mahal going forward. The fans will continue to think that someone is going to take the title from him, but Mahal will wind up holding it for a long time.

Cena Sr. didn’t like that take and stated that Mahal “wasn’t even close” to JBL.  He went on to say that Mahal is only champion to capture the Indian market and isn’t on JBL’s level as a performer. Cena Sr. also claimed that it is too early for Shinsuke Nakamura to win the WWE Championship. Mirade said that sometimes he has trouble understanding Nakamura and Cena Sr. suggested that WWE bring back managers to help wrestlers like Nakamura connect with the crowd. You can check out the entire conversation in the video below.

John Cena Talks About China Hosting WrestleMania One Day

WWE was in China over the weekend, with a live event held on Sunday from Shenzhen. John Cena was on hand to make a special appearance at the show, defeating Rusev in front of a packed house at the Shenzhen Civic Centre.

During an interview with SCMP.com, Cena said he was initially not supposed to attend the show, but “bent time” to be there and will be flying all day on Monday to appear at RAW from San Jose, California.

WWE first broke into the Chinese market back at the 2010 Expo in Shanghai. Cena recalls, “I remember the first time we went to China, we were just a footnote in the Expo. But we were off to a good start and we were welcomed by the loyal Chinese fan base which got us another event, another event, another event. And now all these years later the culture is catching up with what we do.”

Cena says the possibilities are endless for WWE in China. WWE currently seven Chinese trainees at the Performance Center in Orlando. Two two of them, Tian Bing and Boa, were in Shenzhen on Sunday.

“Not only do I see potential success for Chinese superstars to move through the ranks, I envision a world where we do television broadcasts from over here. I envision a world where we do WrestleMania from here.

“So I would love to create a culture in China surrounding WWE, that’s with a strong developmental system for our superstars and hopefully a greater and greater live event presence.”

News On John Cena’s Status For Tonight’s RAW

If John Cena does make it to San Jose, California for tonight’s RAW, he’s going to have a very long travel day ahead.

Cena competed at last night’s WWE SmackDown live event from Shenzhen, China, defeating Rusev. The match took place prior to the mid-show intermission and a flight from Shenzhen to San Jose takes approximately 14-15 hours.

While WWE is not officially advertising Cena for RAW, WWE.com’s preview for the show is teasing a final confrontation between Cena and Reigns ahead of their match this Sunday at No Mercy:

“John Cena and Roman Reigns’ microphone battles have gotten more intense each week since The Cenation Leader arrived on Raw to test Roman Reigns’ mettle, and a heated confrontation six nights before their anticipated dream match at WWE No Mercy seems inevitable.

Although Cena seems to have the upper hand in terms of verbal warfare heading into this week’s Raw, live in San Jose, The Big Dog could be saving his most cutting remarks for last.”

Knowing John Cena’s work ethic and dedication to WWE, it would almost be surprising if he wasn’t there.

John Cena Compares Reigns Feud To Michael Jordan vs. LeBron James

John Cena appeared on ESPN’s Michael Kay Show this week, which you can subscribe to on iTunes. The show is co-hosted by Peter Rosenberg of ESPN, Hot 97 and WWE fame.

Cena spoke about a number of topics, including the projects he’s currently working on outside of WWE, being an inspiration to fans around the world, working with Roman Reigns and which hypothetical sports rivalry he thinks best compares to his feud with Reigns.

Cena said he’s currently finishing voiceover work for the animated film Ferdinand, which hits theaters on December 15th. Cena portrays a “giant but gentle bull” who must find a way to break free from his captors and return home to his family. He’s currently out on the west coast starting to film Bumble Bee, the upcoming Transformer movie spinoff. Next, he’s headed to China with WWE.

When asked if it’s difficult to be an inspiration to so many young fans, Cena said he has great perspective of what he does. Every day, he realizes it’s a gift to be in his position and being a WWE Superstar is an amazing opportunity to reach people.

Regarding his feud with Roman Reigns, Rosenberg said he feels Cena vs. Reigns is like a modern day Hulk Hogan vs. Ultimate Warrior. It’s the company’s two top babyfaces colliding and fans are split on who they’re supporting. Cena said he prefers to equate the Reigns feud to famous sports rivalries like New York vs. Boston. He thinks the most accurate comparison is Michael Jordan vs. LeBron games in a game of one-on-one. Like Michael Jordan, he considers himself very competitive and wants to make sure WWE’s future is in good hands with Reigns positioned as the top babyface for this next era.

Rosenberg asked Cena if it was weird getting cheered lately after a certain segment of the audience has been so outspoken against him for years. Cena said it’s weird, but the WWE audience and WWE live events are always unpredictable. Every week is exciting.

They got into some talk about sports, with Cena saying he’s a huge fan of college football. The college football fans are passionate like wrestling fans and he loves ‘reading’ the crowd. They discussed the Boston Red Socks’ recent scandal and using Apple watches to cheat against the New York Yankees. Cena said baseball has to evolve and has always been slow to adopt modern technology, since the game is so rooted in tradition. Cena said a downside of this conservative approach is that human error is part of the game and doesn’t understand why MLB has umpires monitoring the strike zone for pitchers instead of using laser technology .

When asked which sports figure he was most impressed by, Cena named 2-time Super Bowl winner Peyton Manning.

Backstage News On Plans For Rusev, John Cena Not Scheduled For RAW

Cena not scheduled to appear on RAW

For the past three weeks on RAW, John Cena and Roman Reigns have had a confrontation in the ring. That most likely will not be happening on Monday’s go-home episode of RAW before WWE No Mercy on September 24th.

Cena will be heading to China this weekend for Sunday’s SmackDown Live Event in Shenzhen. Monday’s episode of RAW is in San Jose, California. A flight from Shenzhen to San Jose would take roughly 17 hours.

Cena was beatdown by Braun Strowman on this past Monday’s episode of RAW and WWE could use that to explain Cena’s absence.

Rusev to continue feud with Randy Orton

Rusev has lost two PPV matches in a row since returning from injury. He lost to John Cena in a Flag match at WWE Battleground. Rusev then lost Randy Orton at SummerSlam in a match that lasted 10 seconds.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rusev is expected to continue his feud with Randy Orton heading into WWE Hell in a Cell next month.

On Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown, Rusev was interviewed backstage. During the interview, Rusev discussed his loss to Randy Orton at SummerSlam and stated that it was the biggest loss of his career. Rusev said that he has lost his killer instinct, but he knows what he has to do to get it back. Rusev claimed that he was going to “break a legend” and walked away.

Details On Low Attendance For This Week’s RAW & SmackDown

WWE promoted big attractions for this week’s RAW and SmackDown Live shows, but the events did not draw the attendance the company was hoping for.

Monday’s RAW from Anaheim, California featured the first-ever John Cena vs. Braun Strowman singles match, the latest verbal altercation between Cena and Roman Reigns and an appearance from Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. The show drew just 7,000 fans.  (via f4wonline.com)

Tuesday’s Smackdown Live from Las Vegas drew an even smaller audience. Despite the advertised return of Mr. McMahon, three title matches and the finals of the Mae Young Classic, the Thomas and Mack Center had only only 4000 paid fans.

Cena Jokes About New iPhone’s Face Recognition Feature, The Rock’s Latest Project

– Yesterday (Tues. September 12, 2017) Apple launched their presentation for the latest edition of their iPhone, which they announced will have new face recognition software. WWE Superstar John Cena took to Twitter to react to the news and posted the following funny tweet by referencing his “You Can’t See Me” catchphrase:

– The Rock and his Seven Bucks Productions company have released “The Women Of The Olympia” on his official YouTube channel, a documentary short looking at the women competing in this weekend’s ‘The Olympia’ bodybuilding competition. You can check it out here:

Ryback Reveals Who He Wants To Win Roman Reigns vs. John Cena At No Mercy

Former WWE Superstar Ryback recently took to his podcast, Conversation With The Big Guy, to talk about a number of professional wrestling topics. “The Big Guy” discussed John Cena and Roman Reigns’ upcoming match at No Mercy, who he wants to win, Enzo Amore’s spending habits, his move to 205 Live, and much more. Check out the highlights below:

Reigns and Cena’s August 28th RAW promo and who he hopes wins the No Mercy match between the pair:

“I didn’t watch RAW or SmackDown. The only thing I watched [on RAW], because I heard a little buzz about it, was the Cena/Reigns promo.” Ryback continued, “I went and watched it after just to see and I thought it was really good. I enjoyed the whole thing. Yeah, no, I just think it was about time they do a promo on things of what people really think or whatnot, so I thought it was entertaining on all accounts and I know they mentioned something, they say they thought Reigns forgot his lines. I didn’t see in there where he forgot his lines. People pause and take their time all the time on different situations and whatnot, but yeah, no, I like Roman Reigns. Roman’s a good dude and I always got along with him really well, so I hope he f–king beats John really quickly for creative purposes.”

Cena not being able to politic his way to a win:

“John’s a creative guy. He [has] been there for a long time. He [has] been through this battle many, many times where he [has] been able to politically control it and, ah, this is one where I don’t know, I don’t know if he will. And it’ll be nice if he can’t.”

Enzo Amore’s spending habits:

“I can just tell you that [being] that early on into his [WWE] career he’s not set by any means.” Ryback added, “I’m all for living life, but you’ve also got to be a little smart with your money.”

Amore’s move to 205 Live:

“He’s on 205 Live and I think that’s a good little boost for that maybe and the hardcore people that tune into the [WWE] Network to watch it. But I guess they could still use him on RAW though. They do that with a lot of the little, small circle of guys on that show, right? Like Neville…”

Enzo’s 205 Live move probably being a punishment:

“By the way, it could be punishment to him, by putting him on that and the fact that it keeps him on the road now for five f–king days a week instead of going four where he gets to go home after RAW, where he now has to go to SmackDown. I’m telling you this right now, and everybody that is up there [in WWE] knows that five day a week f–king sucks. The four-days, it’s doable. Five, you want to shoot your f–king brains out because you’re never home. You’re home a day-and-a-half at most.”

John Cena pokes fun at Roman Reigns for failing a drug test

This week’s episode of RAW kicked off with Roman Reigns versus Jason Jordan. Reigns won the match but it took him around twenty minutes. John Cena defeated Jordan last week on RAW, but Reigns made fun of Cena for taking over twenty minutes to defeat Jordan. Cena came down to the ring after the match tonight for a promo with Roman Reigns.

During the promo, Reigns bragged about ticket sales and the revenue he brings in. Reigns claimed that WWE doesn’t need Cena anymore and that Cena needs WWE because he cannot break into Hollywood. Nikki Bella: John Cena Is The Best Talker In WWE History

During a recent interview with The Mirror, Nikki Bella spoke about John Cena’s promo segment with Roman Reigns on last week’s RAW. Nikki said she loved the segment and gets chills just thinking about it. She also heaped praise on fiancé John Cena, claiming he is the best talker in WWE history and nobody even comes close to him.

“I think John is absolutely the best talent there has ever been on the mic. I don’t think anyone comes close to him. He just brings this reality to it every time he is on the mic and you are just like ‘how am I going to hang in here with him?’ He is so quick. I think that is what has made him an amazing actor, especially with comedy, his improv is unreal. He knows how to interact with a live crowd and however a live crowd is feeling, he knows how to turn a crowd. To me, I just watch him and I am in awe. I think it’s time for him and Roman to be in that ring and to say what they have said, I loved it. ”

She admitted that she might be biased in her assessment that John Cena is the best talker in WWE history, but says it hurts to hear when people are critical of his work because he gives so much to the business.

“Sometimes it’s hard for me because as his fiancé, it’s hard for me not to get upset when I hear stuff about John. I see John all the time behind the scenes and I know his love for wrestling, I know his love for the fans and his love for the talent. After every match someone has, they all go up to John. He is one of the most respected men in WWE and all he ever wants to do is make new talent, talent that isn’t or hasn’t been given the opportunity, he wants to give them the opportunity, he wants to help make everyone. So when I hear certain things about him, whether it’s online or it’s someone in an interview, it’s hard not to get upset because it couldn’t be further from the truth.”

Nikki Bella added that she’s never met anybody in her 10 years with WWE that loves the company as much as Cena does. He says “yes” to everything, whether it’s working on Thanksgiving or traveling to grant a “wish” for a Make-A-Wish child. The talent knows Cena’s dedication and even if they criticize him, “they know how much John helps everyone.”
