Jordynne Grace has arrived in WWE NXT and now the former TNA Knockouts World Champion has his sights set on a historic first. On Instagram, Grace declared that she will be the first wrestler in history to hold NXT and TNA Women’s gold.
Grace has already made waves in her efforts to capture a title in NXT. While still holding the TNA Knockouts World Championship, Grace challenged Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Title at Battleground 2024 but was unsuccessful. At the recent NXT Vengeance Day, Grace confronted NXT Women’s Champion Giulia and new NXT Women’s North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer, signalling her desire to hold gold. The show marked Grace’s first appearance for NXT as a WWE Superstar.
While Grace plans to be the first woman to hold TNA and NXT gold, she does have competition. Cora Jade has declared her interest in the TNA Knockouts Title. If succesful, Jade, a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion, would be the history-maker, instead of Grace.
Grace was a leading woman in TNA Wrestling and plans to re-establish herself at the top of the card now as part of WWE NXT. Whether it is Giulia or Vaquer that the Juggernaut targets first, it may be just a matter of time before Jordynne Grace holds gold in NXT and makes history along the way.
Former TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace has officially relocated to Orlando, Florida, signaling the start of her WWE NXT journey, according to Fightful Select.
Grace’s impactful appearance at Vengeance Day saw her immediately targeting the division’s top talents, confronting both NXT Women’s Champion Giulia and North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer. Grace herself has announced she will appear on this Tuesday’s February 18 episode of NXT.
Jordynne Grace showed up and did a ‘cannonball’ right in the deep end of NXT
The move to Orlando demonstrates Grace’s full commitment to the WWE system, where she’ll train alongside the NXT roster at the Performance Center.
Questions now surround Grace’s next moves in NXT—whether she’ll immediately pursue championship gold or first work her way through the division’s top contenders.
Most new arrivals have to work their way through the system before jumping into a title picture, but Grace is one of the most accomplished stars to join “WWE developmental” ever.
With her permanent move to Orlando complete and Tuesday’s appearance looming, Grace appears poised to make her mark in WWE’s developmental brand.
Grace made a dramatic entrance at the conclusion of the event, confronting both NXT Women’s Champion Giulia and NXT Women’s North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer in the ring. The moment came after Giulia successfully defended her title in the main event against Bayley, Roxanne Perez, and Cora Jade.
In a backstage video posted by WWE following her confrontation with Giulia and Vaquer, Grace simply stated, “See you on Tuesday.”
Jordynne Grace made a dramatic surprise appearance at WWE NXT Vengeance Day on February 15, 2025. She emerged at the conclusion of the event to confront NXT Women’s Champion Giulia and NXT Women’s North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer.
The confrontation took place following the main event, where Giulia successfully defended her NXT Women’s Championship in a fatal four-way match against Bayley, Roxanne Perez, and Cora Jade. Earlier in the night, Vaquer had captured the NXT Women’s North American Title from Fallon Henley in the opening contest.
As both champions were in the ring, Grace’s music played and she made her way to the ring. The show concluded with all three women facing off, setting up potential future matchups in NXT’s women’s division.
Grace’s appearance marks another chapter in the ongoing partnership between WWE and TNA. Her transition from TNA to WWE has been significant, particularly following her reign as TNA Knockouts Champion prior to signing with WWE.
The moment concluded NXT Vengeance Day, with Grace’s presence adding new possibilities to both women’s championship pictures.
Jordynne Grace has arrived in WWE, and now the former TNA Knockouts World Champion is excited at seeing her “bro” very soon. On X (formerly known as Twitter) Josh Alexander reflected on his jorney in wrestling and being signed to TNA Wrestling in 2019. In the comments, Grace shared that she couldn’t wait to see Alexander in the near future.
Grace’s comment spawned speculation that Josh Alexander could be the next high-profile name to siggn with WWE. One fan said that Alexander was needed “in NXT’s men’s division desperately” while another was excited at the idea of Alexander facing fellow powerhouse Bron Breakker.
Alexander’s contract with TNA Wrestling will expire on February 15, with this week’s iMPACT being promoted as hosting his final match with the promotion. The match saw Eric Young get the victory on the ‘Walking Weapon’ who remained laid out as TNA iMPACT went off the air.
A potential run in WWE opens up a lot of possibilities for Alexander, including a potential reunion with Ethan Page as The North. Whether it be in NXT or on WWE’s main roster, Alexander would be a huge acquisition for WWE, though there’s other options for him, including AEW or elsewhere.
On the Straight Talk Wrestling podcast, Alexander recently shared that he was supposed to appear for NXT last year but plans ultimately fell through. With Grace hoping to see Alexander soon, it remains to be seen if fans will see the former World Champion in a WWE ring in 2025.
WWE fans won’t have to wait long to see Jordynne Grace, a multi-time TNA Knockouts World Champion, make her presence felt in NXT.
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Grace is set to begin working with the NXT brand in the near future. She is currently in Orlando, the location of tonight’s WWE NXT broadcast on The CW.
Grace’s potential involvement in WWE’s developmental brand has generated significant buzz among fans, as she has built a strong reputation through her work in TNA. Her in-ring ability and accomplishments have made her one of the most recognizable names in women’s wrestling outside of WWE.
Her presence in Orlando suggests that her debut could happen sooner rather than later.
Jordynne Grace recently achieved a lifelong dream by signing with WWE, a move so significant that she was willing to forfeit an extremely lucrative side business to make it happen.
The former TNA Knockouts Champion shut down her independent revenue streams to facilitate the transition. While her long-term WWE contract is undoubtedly worth more than her earnings in TNA, she voluntarily closed her OnlyFans subscription page—a platform that had generated millions of dollars in recent years.
According to Sean Ross Sapp (Fightful Select Q&A), Grace effectively “took a pay cut” to sign with WWE.
“If you mean her OnlyFans, she shut that down several months ago. She effectively took a pay cut in order to join WWE. She’d become a millionaire at one point outside of WWE.”
Earning substantial money from running your own business is one thing, but living out a lifelong dream is priceless. Additionally, Grace could very well earn far more with WWE in the long run. Now that she has arrived in the big leagues, she joins WWE’s stacked women’s division, which includes Rhea Ripley, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Tiffany Stratton, Alexa Bliss, and many more.

Jordynne Grace made a surprise appearance in the Women’s Royal Rumble, entering at #19. During the broadcast, Michael Cole confirmed that Grace is now officially signed with WWE.
Despite previously stating she would be unavailable due to her mother’s 50th birthday, Grace made her presence felt in the match and had a strong showing.
According to Fightful Select’sSean Ross Sapp, Grace has signed a five-year contract with WWE, keeping her with the company through 2029. She is set to join NXT initially, though expectations are that her time there will be brief before moving to the main roster. Reports indicate that she is already under a main roster-level deal.
As part of her agreement, Grace retains the rights to her name and entrance theme, as she owns them. This multi-year deal follows her departure from TNA Wrestling after completing her commitments at Genesis.
She is not expected to appear on tonight’s episode of NXT. Grace previously made her first WWE appearance as a surprise entrant in the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble. Her performance impressed WWE officials, ultimately leading to her signing with the company.
In a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, former TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace confirmed that her contract with the company has expired—marking the first time in her career that she has allowed a deal to run out.
“I’ve been at TNA for a very long time, and I’ve never let my contract expire before,” Grace said. “I’ve done pretty much all there is to do—if there was ever a time to move forward, it would be right now.”
Grace first signed with TNA in 2018 and quickly became one of the company’s top stars, winning multiple Knockouts Championships and headlining major events. After a standout 2024—including surprise WWE appearances at the Royal Rumble and NXT—she now finds herself at a crossroads.
“People think they know what I’m going to do more than I actually know what I’m going to do,” she admitted. “I could stay in TNA. I could go anywhere else. Who knows?”
With reports that she’s signed with WWE, it’s going to be a very interesting year for Jordynne Grace and the women’s divisions of Raw, SmackDown and NXT.
Jordynne Grace has denied rumors of an appearance at the upcoming 2025 Royal Rumble event, insisting that she already has plans for this weekend. Responding to a PW Insider report that she would “100%” be in Indianapolis for the event, Grace revealed that she is hosting her mom’s birthday party instead. She further backed up her statement by sharing a photo of her plane ticket.
I’m 100% hosting my mom’s 50th birthday party this weekend 🎂
Despite her claim, many fans remain skeptical about whether Grace could still make an appearance. The Juggernaut, who recently parted ways with TNA, made her WWE debut in last year’s Women’s Royal Rumble match. While Grace will seemingly be with her family in Austin, Texas instead of Indianapolis, some believe this ticket is a ‘red-herring’ to throw fans off the scene of her imminent involvement.
The Royal Rumble is known for surprise entrants, and fans are excited to see whether Grace will be a part of the show, or if her mother’s alleged birthday party is real. With the former Knockouts Champion recently signing a multi-year contract with WWE, fans can expect big things from Jordynne Grace, whether it be at the 2025 Royal Rumble or later in the year.
In a recent appearance on the Insight podcast, Jordynne Grace discussed the motivation behind her stunning physical transformation. When asked what inspired her to change her body, the former Knockouts Champion explained her “messed-up mentality.”
“I felt like I had to because I have to stand out somehow… I was just this chubby white girl, and you didn’t see anything when I walked in a room.”
Over a two-year period, Grace lost a considerable amount of weight and toned her body into the ‘Juggernaut’ fans see today. On the podcast, Grace explained that she wanted to demonstrate her dedication to wrestling.
“If someone has big arms and they walk into a room, it doesn’t matter if they’re four foot tall, you’re gonna be like, okay, they’re dedicated.”
Grace has taken her commitment to fitness to the next level by entering the world of professional bodybuilding. In April 2023, the Juggernaut made her bodybuilding competiton debut in the Tri City Classic. Like her work in the ring, Grace dominated the competiton to win first place in the true novice, women’s physique, and overall women’s physique categories.
Congrats to @JordynneGrace for placing FIRST in true novice, the women's physique open, and overall women's physique at the National Qualifier Tri City Classic! pic.twitter.com/ddL4qB8J0w
Jordynne Grace has arrived in WWE, but the Juggernaut’s journey to the company has been a dream in the making since childhood. Speaking on the Insightpodcast before her WWE signing became public, Grace was asked if joining the promotion’s roster had always been her ultimate goal.
“I just wanted to wrestle when I was a kid, but I also wanted to be a Diva. That’s the era I was watching. So I wanted to be like one of the models.”
Grace would stumble upon TNA Wrestling a few years before beginning her training, and the company would showcase women’s wrestling outside of WWE’s divas division. It was seeing women outside of WWE’s mold that made Grace realize a future in the ring was possible.
“The variation in WWE and TNA at the time was huge, obviously. I saw women like Awesome Kong and I was like dang, maybe I could be like that.”
Grace tried out for WWE in 2018 but it wouldn’t be until the 2024 Royal Rumble that she made her WWE debut. Reflecting on her arrival, Grace recalled being worried nobody in the crowd would know of her.
“I expected to come out there and no one was gonna know who I was. It was my first time being in WWE at all, so I didn’t expect people to know who I was.”
Grace didn’t just receive recognition last year, but her Rumble appearance opened the door for the multi-year WWE-TNA partnership that has proven to be a hit. While Grace’s days as a TNA Knockout are over, fans can expect many more epic moments from the Juggernaut, perhaps as soon as this weekend.
WWE has officially signed a significant free agent in Jordynne Grace, a move many anticipated. According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, WWE sources have confirmed that Grace has inked a multi-year contract with the company.
The report reveals that WWE expressed their interest and extended an offer a few weeks before Grace completed her commitments with TNA. The promotion, which maintains a working relationship with WWE, was fully aware that Grace intended to leave. Sources within WWE noted that the company finalized the signing almost immediately after her final match in TNA, aiming to secure her before she could enter free agency.
Grace’s final appearance for TNA occurred during the Genesis pay-per-view event on Sunday night in Dallas, Texas, where she faced Tessa Blanchard. In the match, Grace put over Blanchard, marking her exit from the promotion. Although it was previously reported that her TNA deal would run through January 2025, this new development confirms an earlier-than-expected departure.
Grace has made prior appearances for WWE, including an impressive showing in the 2023 Royal Rumble match, which reportedly left a strong impression on WWE officials. Many speculated that she would join WWE once her TNA contract concluded, and this signing has now fulfilled those expectations.
Speculation is building among WWE fans about potential surprise entrants for the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble Match, with Jordynne Grace emerging as a top contender for a surprise debut. Reports suggest Grace, who has impressed WWE officials in the past, may be on her way to the company following her recent departure from TNA Wrestling.
Her contract with TNA is set to expire in January 2025. At TNA’s Genesis pay-per-view event, Grace faced Tessa Blanchard in what is speculated to be her final match with the promotion, putting over Blanchard as she prepares to exit. She received a warm celebration backstage after her match. Adding fuel to the rumors, TNA Wrestling recently removed her from its official roster.
This isn’t Grace’s first interaction with WWE. She participated in a tryout back in 2018 but ultimately chose to sign with IMPACT Wrestling (formerly TNA), where she solidified her reputation as one of the most dominant women in professional wrestling.
Grace also made a one-off appearance in the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble Match, earning high praise for her performance and leading to additional appearances in NXT.
WWE has reportedly been monitoring Grace’s career closely, recognizing her exceptional mix of strength, speed, and charisma. Her addition to the roster could lead to exciting matchups against top WWE stars like Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, and Bianca Belair, potentially creating compelling rivalries and elevating the women’s division further.
As of now, WWE has not confirmed her signing, but the signs point to Grace stepping into WWE’s spotlight sooner rather than later.
At TNA Genesis 2025, Jordynne Grace lost to Tessa Blanchard in the first match back in TNA for the controversial star. After the show, Grace was given quite the sendoff by those on the TNA roster. The Juggernaut was presented with an autographed replica of the Impact Knockouts championship before having cake shoved in her face.
This emotional moment comes amid reports that Grace has finished her time with TNA Wrestling. Last month, Grace shared a cryptic ’29 days’ message, which fans speculated was counting down to the end of her contract. Fightful Select reports that Grace is effectively done with TNA and most expect Genesis to have been her last date there. The report adds that Gail Kim produced Grace’s match with Blanchard, who was among those who attended the send-off.
With Grace’s time with TNA seemingly in the rear-view, attention now turns to what’s next for the former Knockouts World Champion. Many fans have predicted that Grace will soon arrive in WWE as a full-time Superstar after her appearances in 2024 proved immensely popular. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Jordynne Grace and what’s next for her in this post-TNA chapter of her career.
Jordynne Grace is confident that one of TNA’s most iconic matches will come to WrestleMania as part of the promotion’s multi-year partnership with WWE. On X, Grace was so confident that Ultimate X will take place at a future WrestleMania that she encouraged fans to bookmark her post.
Ultimate X sees a prize, typically a championship or red X suspended 15 feet above the ring by two crossing cables. The winner is the first person to take possession of the hung object. Ladders are banned from being used to climb but can be used as weapons.
The match debuted in 2003 with Chris Sabin, Michael Shane, and Frankie Kazarian battling for the X-Division Championship. Sabin, who debuted in WWE last year alongside Alex Shelley, holds the record for the most Ultimate X match appearances (18) and most wins (8.) Last year, NXT’s Riley Osborne competed in Ultimate X at TNA Emergence but failed to get the win.
The partnership between WWE and TNA was announced this week, promising years of exciting crossover at weekly TV tapings and Premium Live Events. Grace has played a pivotal role in TNA and WWE working together as she entered the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble last January. In May, Grace returned to WWE and compete for the NXT Women’s Championship at June’s Battleground event.
This weekend, TNA will host its Genesis event and have teased NXT involvement for the show. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on this exciting partnership between WWE and what was once the promotion’s biggest rival.
TNA Wrestling’s Jordynne Grace has wrestling fans buzzing with a cryptic tweet teasing something big coming in a matter of weeks. On X, the former TNA Knockouts World Champion shared the message ’29 days’ alongside a photo of herself delivering a forearm to Rosemary.
The post quickly sparked speculation, with some fans believing the number is a countdown to the end of her TNA contract, fueling rumors of a potential jump to WWE. In the comments, many fans responded that Grace could be debuting in NXT in 29 days, or referenced Grace competing in the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble. Grace appeared numerous times for WWE in 2024 and many believe a permanent move to the larger promotion will come next year.
The number could also be linked to TNA Genesis, the promotion’s first pay-per-view of the new year which will take place 29 days after Grace sent her post. Genesis 2025 will take place at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas on January 19.
Grace has had a banner year in 2024, both in TNA Wrestling, WWE, and beyond. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on the Juggernaut, and what the former Knockouts World Champion has planned for a matter of weeks.
Jordynne Grace is ready to show that the “ignorant” Tessa Blanchard has made a huge mistake by choosing to return to TNA. At Final Resolution, Blanchard returned to TNA after a four-year absence and made a statement by attacking The Juggernaut.
In a Digital Exclusive, Grace, who has reservations about working with Tessa. didn’t hold back when addressing Blanchard’s return. Grace, a three-time former Knockouts World Champion, said that Blanchard is ignorant and has made a mistake by returning.
“I’ve known for a while that Tessa was ignorant, but what I didn’t realize is that she’s actually a complete idiot. Coming back after all this time, after abandoning this company to try to make a statement and using me as an example. Tessa, a lot has changed since you’ve been gone. You’re going to realize very quickly that you made a huge f***ing mistake.”
EXCLUSIVE: @JordynneGrace speaks after being blindsided by Tessa Blanchard!
Grace’s comment about Blanchard being ‘ignorant’ is seemingly a nod to Tessa’s controversial exit from TNA in 2020. On the eve of becoming the first female TNA World Champion, Blanchard faced allegations of bullying and using racial slurs. The company went ahead with Blanchard’s title victory, but she would leave the company shortly after. Last year, Blanchard shared a photo with La Rosa Negra, who accused Blanchard of using a racial slur against her, showing they had made amends.
We are human and our responsibility in this world is to do better and/or be a better person to those around us.
— La Rosa Negra ??????? ?? (@LaRosaNegraPR) April 3, 2023
Blanchard’s return has already drummed up a lot of talk among fans, with debate over whether bringing her back will be a boost for TNA or if it’ll only bring unnecessary drama. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Tessa Blanchard now that she is once again part of the TNA Knockouts division.
Ahead of the October 29, edition of WWE NXT, the silver brand was advertising the in-ring debut of Zaria, who made an impact at NXT Halloween Havoc. Not only did fans get to see Zaria in action last night, but they also witnessed the return of TNA Wrestling’s Jordynne Grace.
Brinley Reece was the unlucky soul selected to be Zaria’s first opponent. During the match, Reece appeared to have dislocated her arm, but Zaria popped it back into place. Despite attempts at a comeback by Reece, this match was all Zaria who got the win with an F5.
Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade made their way to the ring to confront Zaria, as did Fatal Influence. Kelani Jordan, Stephanie Vaquer, and Giulia then appeared to give Zaria some backup, meaning there were five heels to the four babyfaces. Suddenly, Jordynne Grace appeared to even up the score and the five women brawled.
This was an epic brawl on this week’s show and fans will get to see these ten women go at it next week. A ten-woman tag-team match has been confirmed for the WWE NXT that will take place in Philadelphia’s 2300 Arena. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest from WWE NXT and its growing women’s division.
Jordynne Grace is set to become a free agent earlier than first thought and it opens up the possibility for some very exciting developments for the female star’s career.
The Knockouts Champion signed a 2-year deal with her current employers when she returned to the company in August 2023.
This meant that Grace’s contract would have expired sometime in the Summer of 2025 but Fightful Select is now reporting that the current champion had her deal amended at some point and it now expires in January 2025.
The 28-year-old is not the only one whose deal is coming to an end at the time and her husband, Jonathan Gresham’s deal will reportedly also conclude around the same time.
While the exact date when Jordynne Grace’s contract expires is unknown, the January timeline will make it possible for her to make an appearance at the 2025 Royal Rumble event set for February 1 this time.
Grace has been a featured star on NXT in their extended partnership with TNA Wrestling and Gresham has also said to have made a good impression with WWE officials in the past.
This is not to say that Tony Khan or All Elite Wrestling would not be an interested party. Especially as WWE beat them to signing Stephanie Vaquer after her Forbidden Door 2023 match, the competing promotion would definitely be interested in further strengthening their female roster by bringing in a star such as Grace.
Black Label Pro Wrestling is an Indiana-based promotion that since 2017 has hosted shows and built up a loyal legion of fans. Unfortunately for those fans, they’ve seen the last of Black Label Pro for the time being as the company is going on a hiatus.
On Twitter, Black Label Pro shared that its Fancy Wrestling event, scheduled for October 12, has been canceled, as have all other upcoming events. The statement also confirmed that tickets have been submitted and refunds and fans were thanked for their support.
Unfortunately we have decided to cancel Fancy Wrestling and the rest of the events upcoming.
We are going on a hiatus for the time being.
All tickets have already been submitted for refunds.
Fancy Wrestling was set to take place at Crown Point, Indiana and was set to feature a stacked card including Raj Dhesi. The former WWE Superstar debuted for BLP shortly after his non-compete clause expired, and captured the BLP World Championship in his first post-WWE match in July of this year.
Though a relatively new company compared to the likes of WWE, TNA Wrestling, or Ring of Honor, Black Label Pro has seen its share of top names. Notable alumni include TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth, TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace, Mike ‘Riddick Moss’ Rallis, Moose, Mustafa Ali, and self-professed Indy God Matt Cardona. The company’s most recent event, Crowning Glory, saw many of these top names with Dhesi and Grace emerging victorious in their respective matches.
Seeing a wrestling company close shop is never fun and hopefully this hiatus proves to only be a temporary setback for those working at Black Label Pro. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest from the world of independent pro wrestling.
In 2024, WWE NXT’s collaboration with TNA Wrestling has excited fans and allowed for talent from both sides to step through the ‘prohibited portal.’ NXT Superstars have become regulars on TNA programming and vice versa, and could this partnership be represented in WWE’s next video game, WWE 2K25?
During a recent Q&A on Fightful Select, Sean Ross Sapp was asked if TNA talent could be included in WWE 2K5. Sapp explained that it would require approval from TNA, as well as separate agreements with both 2K and WWE. As independent contractors, TNA talents cannot be licensed without proper approval from the appropriate bodies.
TNA’s last video game was 2011’s TNA iMPACT on iOS and Android devices, while the company’s most recent console release was also TNA iMPACT, released in 2010. With that said, Jordynne Grace, who’s proven to be pivotal in the NXT-TNA collaboration, provided mocap for Ivy Nile in WWE 2K23 and described the American Made member as “dope.”
I actually did motion capture for her stuff in the 2K game. She’s dope https://t.co/Jdw4LigFQJ
WWE 2K4 was released in March of this year to positive reviews by critics and players alike as the hit series continues to deliver a stacked roster and new features. While it remains to be seen if Grace, Joe Hendry, Moose, or The Rascalz appear in the next installment, WWE’s partnership with TNA has shown that no idea is off limits to Paul Levesque and his team.
The partnership between WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling has proven immensely popular with fans who’ve enjoyed seeing talent work for the other promotion. Soon, this partnership will see history made when a TNA-sanctioned championship is defended in a WWE ring!
On Twitter, TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace spoke about WWE Week, when RAW, SmackDown, and WWE NXT are all aired on the USA Network next week. The Juggernaut plans on making the week even bigger and shared that she will defend her title in an open challenge on the September 10, edition of WWE NXT. This match will mark the first time that any TNA championship, be it for the men or the women, is defended in a WWE ring.
After appearing in this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble match, Grace shocked fans in May by making her WWE NXT debut. At Battleground, Grace unsuccessfully challenged NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez for the gold.
Over in TNA, Grace has had her fair share of NXT challengers. At Against All Odds, Grace retained her title against Tatum Paxley, and held onto the gold against Izzi Dame at TNA iMPACT tapings two weeks later. More recently, Grace defended her gold at a taping against NXT’s Karmen Petrovic.
WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling
Grace isn’t the only name from TNA fans can expect to see during WWE Week. Next week’s episode of WWE NXT will also see The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and X-Division Champion Zachary Wentz) challenge for the NXT Tag Team Championships. The Rascalz earned a title match on this week’s show by defeating the O.C. and Hank & Tank, and now have a chance to bring the NXT Tag Team Championships to TNA Wrestling.
WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling have embarked on a partnership this year that has seen talent from both sides appear for the other. This relationship has proven to be very popular with fans and this partnership continued at TNA’s latest tapings.
This past weekend, TNA held its Emergence event from the Old Forester’s Paristown Hall in Louisville, Kentucky. At the following tapings, multiple WWE NXT Superstars stepped through the ‘prohibited portal’ (a copyright-friendly alternative for the Forbidden Door.)
Karmen Petrovic made her TNA debut by challenging Jordynne Grace for the TNA Knockouts World Championship but failed to dethrone the Juggernaut. Grace herself has played a pivotal role in WWE’s crossover with TNA, first by appearing in the Women’s Royal Rumble match and later in WWE NXT.
Arianna Grace was also part of the WWE NXT influx at the TNA tapings. Grace is the daughter of TNA’s Santino Marella, who serves as TNA’s on-screen director of authority.
While Petrovic and Arianna Grace will soon appear on TNA Wrestling programming, they weren’t the only WWE names at the latest tapings. Riley Osborne was part of the TNA Emergence event, as he competed in the Ultimate-X match that saw Zachary Wentz become the TNA X-Division Champion. It has been reported that Osborne’s partner Blair Davenport was backstage at the show as well.
The NXT-TNA partnership shows no signs of slowing down, with Joe Hendry and Zachary Wentz set to be part of tonight’s WWE NXT No Mercy show. Stay tuned to SE Scoops for all the latest on the ongoing partnership between the two promotions.
In an unexpected turn of events, NXT Superstar Jaida Parker has publicly expressed her desire to face Jordynne Grace, the TNA Knockouts Champion.
This challenge comes after Parker’s recent interview with MuscleManMalcom, where she discussed her ambitions and the possibility of answering an open challenge from Grace for the TNA Knockouts Championship.
During the interview, Parker confidently stated, “I’m waiting on my plane ticket. You got something I want, and that’s that gold.”
Jordynne Grace’s Response to the Challenge
Jordynne Grace wasted no time responding to Parker’s challenge. In a tweet that quickly got attention from fans online, Grace replied, “I’ll fly you out myself, drop me your government name and DOB.”
There is currently no indication that this match is something that both TNA and NXT are looking at going forward, but it could be a big for Parker’s burgeoning career.
Parker is currently set to face Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship at the No Mercy Premium Live Event on Sunday, September 1st. Grace could make an appearance at the show, but it is not something that we have heard it likely at this point.
