  • Dolph Ziggler Resurfaces At WWE Live Event On Saturday, Classics On Demand Preview Video

    – WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler appeared at a WWE live event for the first time in four weeks at Saturday’s show in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

    Ziggler, who was donning street clothes, accompanied Big E Langston in his match against Alberto Del Rio as well as AJ Lee in her match against Divas Champion Kaitlyn. Langston lost his match via disqualification while Lee lost her match via pinfall.

    Ziggler has not been medically cleared to wrestle again after sustaining a serious concussion last month.

    – The official YouTube account of WWE released the following video previewing this month’s slate of Classics On Demand programming; the theme is “Ring Royalty.” This includes a profile on Jerry “The King” Lawler, the 1999 edition of the Royal Rumble, various King of the Ring moments and the 2007 video release, Triple H: King of Kings – There is Only One.

  • G.I. Joe’s Strong Opening Weekend, Bella Twins Trash Talk AJ Lee

    – G.I. Joe: Retaliation looks to be having a strong opening weekend at the box office. According to Deadline.com, early data shows the movie pulled in $10.5 million on Thursday (including $2.5m from some Wednesday midnight screenings) and around $15 million on Friday. If they can keep up that pace, it will do around $45-50 million for the four-and-a-half day Easter weekend. Audiences gave it an A- CinemaScore, better than the first installment’s (B+).

    – WWE has announced Gerrit Meier as new Executive Vice President of International, reporting directly to Vince McMahon.

    The Baltimore Sun has an interview with Hacksaw Duggan, talking about his career, older wrestlers still performing and more.

    – The official WWE website held a poll Friday asking who Divas Champion Kaitlyn should defend her title against. AJ Lee was the runaway winner, capturing over 70% of the vote.     WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn spoke with GO! Magazine to promote  an upcoming WWE event in Maryland. Here are some highlights of what she said about:

    What The Divas Title Mans To Her:

    “I fought so hard for it, and I was such an underdog, but I won the title. It was the most amazing moment of my life. I had worked so hard for it, and no one expected it from me. I won the title and it was in my hometown, and I felt like I deserved it. I had really clawed my way up from the bottom. It was such a special day, and I cried so much that day.”

    What She’s Most Looking forward to at WrestleMania?

    “When it comes to WrestleMania, I’m such a fan. Even though I’m part of it, I’m literally surprised and every single week — even when I’m watching from backstage — I can’t tear my eyes away from the show. WrestleMania is our Super Bowl.   • WWE Superstar Pets and Pranks On “WWE Inbox”, Kaitlyn’s Actual Height and Weight, Maryse Appearing In New Orleans

    – As reported earlier, Kaitlyn was arrested at Tuesday’s SmackDown taping in Grand Rapids, Michigan, for a prior traffic violation in the state. The WWE Diva was taken into custody by the Kent County Sheriff at Van Andel Arena before being released on bond. Details of her arrest are available on AccessKent.com, which reveals that she is actually 5’5″ and 145 pounds, not 5’6″ and 135 pounds as WWE and she herself have billed. Furthermore, she was released on $303 bond, not $315 bond as TMZ.com had reported.

  • WWE Diva Kaitlyn Arrested (MUGSHOT)

    Celeste Bonin, better known as WWE Diva Kaitlyn, was arrested in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Tuesday night. While we’ve seen dozens of WWE superstars and divas arrested over the years – this might be the first time a WWE talent was arrested while backstage at a WWE event.

    Kaitlyn was arrested while backstage at Tuesday night’s SmackDown tapings. Due to Kaitlyn’s failure to pay an outstanding speeding ticket, there was a warrant out for her arrest and she was taken into custody.

    She was released later in the evening after paying a $315 bond.

    Kaitlyn spoke to TMZ.com about the arrest, telling them, “During a previous visit to Michigan, I was cited for a traffic violation,” she told TMZ.com. “I am full cooperating with the authorities to resolve the matter.”

  • Ryback Thankful For Second WWE Opportunity, Kaitlyn Takes On Beth Phoenix, Lita In Connecticut

    – In the latest issue of WWE Magazine, cover-dated November 2012, WWE Superstars were asked what they are thankful for. In Ryback’s case it is WWE giving him a second opportunity.

    “I’m thankful for WWE not giving up on my career, and instead offering me another opportunity to live my dream,” said Ryback. “They could have wished me luck in my future endeavors, but they didn’t. Instead, they gave me a second chance at life.”

    Ryback’s current WWE run is actually his second with the organization. He was released from his first developmental contract, which he earned after competing on Tough Enough 4, in January 2007. He regrouped a year and a half later and resurfaced at WWE’s former developmental league, Ohio Valley Wrestling. He was re-signed to a developmental contract shortly thereafter and has been with the sports-entertainment company ever since.

    – Delayed one week due to Rey Mysterio having the flu, Mysterio and Sin Cara will face Team Rhodes Scholars next Monday on Raw in the Tag Team Tournament Final. The winners will then face WWE Tag Team Champions Kane and Daniel Bryan at Hell in a Cell.

    – During a backstage segment on Raw, Daniel Bryan challenged Kane to take on Big Show on next week’s show since he found it humorous that he was chokeslammed by The World’s Largest Athlete.

    – One match was taped Monday in Nashville, Tennessee for this week’s episode of WWE Superstars as Kaitlyn faced off against Beth Phoenix.

    In a pre-taping dark match, Tensai defeated Michael McGillicutty. According to a correspondent, Tensai drew a lot of heat as well as ‘Albert’ chants during his entrance, but the audience became quiet once the match took place.

  • WWE Says Kaitlyn Has A Torn Tendon, New Video Of The Rock In WWE ’13

    – WWE.com has a storyline article up stating that Kaitlyn suffered a “torn tendon” when she was attacked before her match at Night of Champions, but does not need surgery:

    “Although Kaitlyn has a torn tendon, her ankle is not broken. She will be wearing a brace and is expected to be back in action in several weeks.”

    Kaitlyn replaced by Eve Torres, who defeated Layla at the PPV to capture the Divas title.

    – THQ released Monday a video preview of The Rock’s “Attitude Era” storyline in the forthcoming “WWE ’13” video game. The video details Rock’s playable feuds against Mankind, Ken Shamrock, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, and Triple H from the Attitude Era.

  • “Backstage Fallout” From Monday’s Raw, AJ Lee Responds To Booker T, WWE Star Dream Teams

    – On this week’s “Backstage Fallout” for Raw, Dolph Ziggler rips WWE Champion CM Punk for walking out on him during their tag team match before vowing to defeat Randy Orton this Sunday at Night of Champions. Cody Rhodes rips The Miz, with The Awesome One responding in a separate interview that Rhodes is jealous. Plus, Eve leaves WWE Divas Champion Layla and Kaitlyn dumbfounded with her encouraging remarks.

    – Monday on Raw, Sheamus’ use of the prohibited Brogue Kick prompted a response from Raw General Manager AJ Lee who, in turn, was interrupted by SmackDown General Manager Booker T. Since the World Heavyweight Championship falls under T’s jurisdiction, he decreed that if Sheamus uses the kick again, he will be stripped of the title.

    Lee posted a Twitter message furthering the storyline. She wrote to T, “Hey @BookerT5x next time you want to appear on RAW, my show, ask first. I could have handled @WWESheamus without your help.”

    – WWE.com has released a video playlist highlighting the biggest WWE Superstar “Dream Teams” of all-time.   • WWE Network Reportedly Being Revamped, WWE Diva Not On Facebook, Tammy Sytch

    – Following a poor reception to the WWE Network from both cable distributors and consumers alike, WWE’s plans for the fledgling channel are being revamped, FightNetwork.com’s Live Audio Wrestling reports Friday. The project has undergone some major changes behind-the-scenes with the entire concept being revamped, a WWE source told the website.

    Cable and satellite-television providers have expressed little to no interest in carrying the wrestling-centric channel due to the belief it’s not viable. And while WWE has considered making the network a pay-subscription channel, the internal belief is that it would be extremely difficult to make the venture profitable in today’s climate.

    Despite these dilemmas, WWE plans to eventually get the project off the ground in some form or fashion. Details are scarce but the company is expected to make an announcement in the future regarding some sort of partnership.

    – Their are numerous accounts on Facebook purporting themselves as Kaitlyn. The popular WWE Diva confirmed Friday via Twitter that she does not have an account on the social networking website: “Guys I don’t have a Facebook or an instagram account OR a Lisa frank dream diary! (it’s NOT a diary… It’s a journal).”
