  • The Miz’s Hectic Travel Schedule, Kings Of Wrestling Not Reuniting In WWE

    – WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz will be appearing on tonight’s WWE RAW from Milwaukee, Wisconsin after spending a week in the UK to do media appearances for WWE. As for how he got from the UK to Wisconsin this morning, he tweeted:

    After RAW – Miz heads back overseas for more WWE media appearances.

    – WWE currently has no plans of reuniting the former “Kings of Wrestling” – WWE United States champion Antonio Cesaro and NXT wrestler Kassius Ohno. The former Ring of Honor tag team champions teamed together at Thursday night’s WWE NXT taping against CM Punk & Seth Rollins, however f4wonline.com is reporting that match was done as a special attraction for the live audience.

    WWE has high hopes that Antonio Cesaro has the potential to break out as a singles wrestler on the main roster. Once Kassius Ohno gets called up, it’s possible there will be some acknowledgement of their past together, but don’t expect them to make a run at the WWE tag titles.

  • McMahon Contemplating Another “Stand Up for WWE” Campaign

    — With Linda McMahon running for Senate in Connecticut this year, Vince McMahon is once again contemplating a second “Stand Up for WWE” campaign to refute all the negative media coverage he expects his sports entertainment organization to receive.

    The WWE CEO has told people that the company will be more aggressive toward the persecution from “the liberal media” given what is expected to occur once the Senate race heats up. An individual close to the matter said that if Linda doesn’t perform well in the campaign, the organization will be very outspoken.

    — WWE developmental wrestler Kassius Ohno is currently sidelined due to a cervical sprain. The injury occurred at the April 26 Florida Championship Wrestling television tapings in Tampa, Florida when Antonio Cesaro attempted a twisting dive maneuver onto numerous wrestlers but fell short and on top of Ohno’s head. He finished the match but he was taken to a local hospital for X-rays.

    — Mike Shaw, who performed as Norman the Lunatic for World Championship Wrestling and Bastion Booger for the World Wrestling Federation, would have turned fifty-five years old on Wednesday. He died of a heart attack on September 11, 2010.

  • Big Match At FCW, Zack Ryder’s New Catchphrase, Hawkins

    – Thursday night’s Florida Championship Wrestling live event featured a tag team match involving several of the promotion’s top talent. Seth Rollins (Tyler Black) and Kassius Ohno (Chris Hero)  defeated the team of Antonio Cesaro (Claudio Castagnoli) and Big E. Langston. Prior to signing with WWE, Cesaro and Ohno previously teamed together as the Kings of Wrestling. Ohno tweeted the following about the match:

    “Finally got my hands (& elbow) on @AntonioCesaro. Teamed w/ @WWERollins v. him & @BigELangston. I think poor Swisso is still KO’d. #future

    – Zack Ryder says he will debut his new catchphrase on the next Z! True Long Island Story, which will premiere later today.

    – WWE star Curt Hawkins, who was fired on NXT by William Regal earlier this week, continues to play up the storyline and says he’s headed to the independent scene to work with Kevin Steen and Sami Callihan:

    “I’m so fired… I’m gonna kill @KILLSTEENKILL & @samicallihan on the indys. #NXT sucks”

  • Video Of Hero’s FCW Debut, Miz-WM28, WWE Signs 7-Footer

    — Former Dragon Gate USA star Brodie Lee has reportedly signed a developmental deal with WWE, according to PWTorch.com. Lee is nearly 7 feet tall.

    — There continues to be a lot of speculation regarding The Miz’s role at WrestleMania 28. Miz, who successfully defended the WWE title against John Cena in the main event of last year’s show, is rumored to be involved in this year’s Rock vs. Cena match in some capacity. WWE is said to have a storyline ready for The Miz after WrestleMania and his recent losing streak is part of the buildup to that angle.

    — Former ROH star Chris Hero, now known as Kassius Ohno, made his debut on Florida Championship Wrestling television this weekend:

  • Eve Tweets Zack Ryder, Kassius Ohno Update, Long-RAW

    – Teddy Long says he’ll be appearing on Mondy’s RAW to continue his ongoing battle for power with John Laurinaitis. Long tweeted:

    “Since @WWERawGM did MY dance on MY show, next week, I’m gonna be on #Raw making declarations in a husky monotone. Eye for an eye, playa.”

    – As previously reported, former ROH star Chris Hero is now wrestling as Kassius Ohno at WWE developmental. The initials, KO, are inspired by Hero’s nickname in Ring of Honor – “That Young Knockout Kid.”

    – Eve Torres wrote a “get well message” to Zack Ryder via Twitter. Ryder responded with the following:

    “@EveMarieTorres ’cause in time you will find what goes around goes around goes around comes all the way back around #hoeski”

    Torres also shot back at the “haters” calling her all sorts of bad names for her recent actions:

    “All of you calling me names and degrading women are no better than I. How dare you judge me!”

  • Chris Hero Changes Twitter Handle, Matt Hardy Launching Site

    — Chris Hero has changed his Twitter handle to reflect his Florida Championship Wrestling ring name, Kassius Ohno. The account is located at KassiusOhno. He also changed his avatar to a “KO!” logo.

    Regarding the change, he wrote, “Small change y’all @thechrishero now = @KassiusOhno Thanks to EVERYONE for your support attention & even criticism. Let’s enjoy the ride~!”

    — Matt Hardy will launch an official website next month via MattHardyBrand.com. His girlfriend Reby Sky is developing it.

    “Much thx 2 @RebySky for putting SO much effort & work into the website, http://www.MATTHARDYBRAND.com -gonna be awesome! Can’t wait 4 u all to see!” Hardy tweeted.

    — Diamond Dallas Page appears on Ampd-Radio.com tonight at 9:00 p.m. for an interview with Kenny Bolin.

  • CM Punk Nominated For Award, More New FCW Talent

    – WWE Champion CM Punk has been nominated for a “Most Metal Athlete’ award in at the upcoming Revolver Golden Gods Awards. The awards show takes place on April 11th and will be hosted by none other than Chris Jericho.

    No word yet on whether CM Punk will be there in person, but considering their current feud, it would be  be interesting to see whether these two could peacefully co-exist at the same event.

    – One of the top stories of the week is that former Ring of Honor wrestler Chris Hero finally made his debut at WWE’s developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling. Hery, who is now known as Kassius Ohno, is one of several new who joined the FCW website’s talent roster this week. Besides Ohno, here are the other new FCW talents:

  • Kassius Ohno Debuts In FCW, Lilian Garcia To Hold Concerts

    — Kassius Ohno, formerly known as Chris Hero, debuted at Thursday’s Florida Championship Wrestling television taping in Tampa, Florida. Ohno laid Xavier Woods out after losing to the former TNA World Tag Team Champion in a singles match. Ohno was said to have looked “really good” in the bout.

    — Lilian Garcia has announced plans to hold concerts in the near future.

    She tweeted Thursday, “Excited 4 tonight!! Have my first band rehearsal w my NEW Band!!! Gearing up 4 concerts! Yay!”

    Garcia just released her second single, Ur Girl (Til the End of the World), following the first release, U Drive Me Loca, both produced by Grammy nominated producer, Oh, Hush!, off her upcoming sophomore album.

    — There is talk within that WWE that WWE.com is being re-designed for a relaunch following WrestleMania XXVIII.

  • Mason Ryan Taps Out To Jack Swagger, Ohno Causes Net Surge

    — WWE.com has posted this week’s episode of WWE Superstars and it is highlighted by United States Champion Jack Swagger forcing Mason Ryan to tap out to the Ankle lock.

    Ryan had not lost a televised singles match via pinfall or submission in nearly a year. His last such loss took place on the March 14, 2011 Raw to Randy Orton.

    Other matches are Superstars include Aksana vs. Maxine and WWE Tag Team Champions Epico and Primo vs. Alex Riley and Santino Marella. The episode is available here.

    — News of Chris Hero’s FCW ring name caused a surge online among wrestling fans Thursday as Kassius Ohno briefly trended on Twitter not to mention that the official Florida Championship Wrestling website slowed to a crawl for hours.

    — WWE developmental wrestler Byron Saxton has resumed competing following shoulder surgery, reports the Wrestling Globe Newsletter.

  • Chris Hero Receives His FCW Name, Bourne Merch Marked Down

    — According to the official website of WWE developmental promotion Florida Championship Wrestling, the wrestler known as Chris Hero has been officially named Kassius Ohno.

    His newly added profile page can be viewed here.

    The independent wrestling circuit standout recently reached a developmental contract agreement with WWE after passing a field of medical tests. Hero and tag team partner Claudio Castagnoli were offered contracts last summer after participating in a private workout with company officials. Castagnoli signed but Hero did not due to naturally elevated testosterone/epitestosterone levels, according to the Wrestling Observer. WWE won’t sign individuals who test positive for steroids in their drug testing.

    “It took forever and a ton of testing to prove the reading was actually natural and it was quite the process,” the Observer wrote of WWE signing Hero.

    — The lone Evan Bourne T-Shirt on WWEShop.com, which is an Authentic T-Shirt, has been marked down 68%. The premium T-Shirt is now available for $7.99.

    WWE premiered an updated intro on Monday’s Raw SuperShow and the over two-year-old shot of Bourne performing Air Bourne was noticeably removed. He is currently serving a sixty-day suspension for his second violation of WWE’s Talent Wellness Program.
