Hulk Hogan Remembers Hercules Hernandez, Superstar Picks Returning To WWE Network

– Since being reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame in July, Hulk Hogan has been reminiscing a lot about his glory days in the World Wrestling Federation through social media. On Friday, he posted a message remembering the late Hercules Hernandez.

On November 29, 1986, “The Hulkster” successfully defended the WWF World Heavyweight Championship against Hernandez on Saturday Night’s Main Event. Hogan posted a clip of his pre-match promo and wrote, “I wish Hercules was still with us. He was tough as nails. I witnessed Hiro Matsuda torture him daily, brother.”

Hernandez — real name Raymond Fernandez — died in his sleep on March 6, 2004. His cause of death was attributed to heart disease.

Kevin Owens Teases Vince McMahon On Twitter

Kevin Owens is an absolute savage. “KO” took to Twitter earlier today (Wed. September 12, 2018) and teased Vince McMahon. Today marks one-year since Owens attacked Vince McMahon on an episode of SmackDown Live.

Owens viciously attacked McMahon after being granted a Hell In A Cell (HIAC) match against Shane McMahon. Vince made the mistake of guaranteeing Owens that he wouldn’t get punished for harming a McMahon. Unknowingly, Vince gave Owens permission to attack him.

He proceeded to headbutt Vince and bust him open before hitting him with a Frog Splash from the top rope. Check out Owens’ Tweet here:

https://twitter.com/FightOwensFight/status/1039971265942052866

Owens ended up defeating Shane McMahon at HIAC thanks to some help from Sami Zayn. Eventually, the rivalry came to an end at WrestleMania 34 in April. Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon defeated Zayn and Owens in a Tag Team match in New Orleans.

What do you think of Owens’ tease towards McMahon on Twitter?

Kevin Owens On Who He Wants To Face At WrestleMania 35

Just prior to SummerSlam, WWE star Kevin Owens spoke to Chuck Carroll of CBS Local Sports to promote the pay-per-view (PPV).

During their conversation, “KO” was asked about potential opponents for WrestleMania 35 next year in New Jersey. Owens would like to share the ring with Finn Balor if the opportunity presents itself:

“There’s so many guys I wish I could wrestle, but if it was up to me, whatever I would do would lead to me and Finn Bálor at WrestleMania next year, because he and I came to WWE the exact same time,” Owens said.

“We didn’t know each other before we got there. We became pretty close pretty quickly when we did get to the NXT Performance Center. He’s been my best friend ever since, so I’d love to share the ring with him on that stage in WrestleMania.”

Owens noted that he and Balor have shared the ring before. At WWE’s Best In The East event in Japan back in 2015, Balor defeated Owens for the NXT Championship. It’s still one of his favorite matches:

“I love wrestling him and as far as I know he feels the same way,” Owens continued. “I think we put on really entertaining matches that are very good.

“We had a match in Japan a few years ago that I still think was one of my best ones in WWE. So, I think we mesh pretty well.”

Owens is currently in a very interesting storyline in WWE. He failed to capture the Intercontinental Championship from Seth Rollins on RAW this week. After the match, Owens declared that he “quit” WWE.

It remains unclear what will become of Owens in regards to the storyline.

Discussion: What do you think of a potential Owens vs. Balor match at WrestleMania 35? Let us know in the comments!

Rumor Killer On Kevin Owens & Paul Heyman

There seems to be a rumor floating around that WWE is considering pairing up Kevin Owens and Paul Heyman.

Currently Owens is in a storyline in which he has “quit” WWE. After his unsuccessful bid for the Intercontinental Championship against Seth Rollins on Monday’s RAW, Owens said he “quit” before leaving the ring.

There is a ton of speculation as to what is going to happen to “KO.” Will he join SmackDown Live? Perhaps turn babyface? The possibilities are endless. Somehow a pairing with Paul Heyman seemed to get into the rumor mix.

Wrestling Observer Newsletter‘s Dave Meltzer reports that this is not true. “The story going around that Heyman will return to manage Owens has no validity to it,” Metlzer wrote. Owens’ WWE status remains unclear.

He is currently advertised for live events in October. Owens will team with Elias against John Cena and Bobby Lashley. If this remains the case, it looks like Owens won’t be off TV for a long time.

The reason so many people seemed to believe the Heyman story was because it actually makes sense. Heyman is now without an advocate with Brock Lesnar losing his Universal Title and departing to the UFC.

Lesnar will challenge Daniel Cormier for the UFC heavyweight title in the beginning of 2019. A pairing between Heyman and Owens would certainly be an entertaining one, but it doesn’t seem to be in WWE’s plans as of this writing.

Kevin Owens “Quits” WWE, Bella Twins Slated To Make RAW Return

Kevin Owens “Quits” WWE

As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW in Toronto, Canada at the Scotiabank Arena on the USA Network, Seth Rollins successfully retained the Intercontinental Title over Kevin Owens. Following the match, the former WWE Universal Champion announced that he was quitting. This was his return after missing last week’s show following a loss to Braun Strowman at SummerSlam.

As a result, he was trending worldwide on Twitter. It should be noted that this is purely a storyline and that he’s still under contract with the WWE. The company is not advertising him for any events until a live event on Friday, September 7 in Birmingham, Alabama.

Bella Twins Slated To Make RAW Return

The Bella Twins continue to stay busy as WWE has announced that they will be returning to in-ring action on next week’s episode of RAW in Columbus, OH at the Schottenstein Center against The Riott Squad.

We noted earlier on the site, they returned to in-ring action at a live event over the weekend. The Bella Twins each have several WWE matches scheduled for the coming months. Brie will team up with her husband, Daniel Bryan, to take on The Miz and Maryse at Hell in a Cell.

Kevin Owens Teases Return On Tonight’s RAW

Kevin Owens has gone into hiding after his loss at SummerSlam.

“KO” was last seen being squashed by Braun Strowman at “The Biggest Party Of The Summer.” Strowman had been torturing the former Universal Champion for weeks. Owens talked his way into a match with Strowman at SummerSlam.

Had Owens won, he would’ve won Strowman’s Money In The Bank (MITB) briefcase. However, Strowman absolutely demolished Owens with ease in Brooklyn. He wasn’t featured on the next night’s episode of RAW.

Tonight is the perfect opportunity for Owens to come back to the show. Owens would be returning in front of his native Canadian crowd. RAW is in the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada tonight.

Owens Tweeted out the following hours away from the show:

https://twitter.com/FightOwensFight/status/1034146936352395267

https://twitter.com/FightOwensFight/status/1034168466658471936

It should also be noted that Owens wiped out his Twitter feed. All past Tweets and replies have been deleted. Last week he changed his profile picture to black and his bio reads “back to darkness.”

Should Owens return on RAW tonight it should be interesting to see in what capacity he’ll be used. Perhaps a Universal Title run is in his sights.

Kevin Owens Reveals He Signed A New Contract With WWE Recently

A lot of people including Stone Cold Steve Austin were not happy with Kevin Owens getting squashed at SummerSlam but it appears that Owens himself is comfortable with his current position in the company.

Kevin recently had an interview with Guerrilla Position where he talked about his favorite SummerSlam memories, his first SummerSlam match and more.

While talking about the independent circuit, Owens discussed the MSG show of ROH and NJPW selling out and implied that the show being held in the WrestleMania weekend helped in the ticket sales.

Continuing on the topic, the former Universal Champion talked about missing the indie circuit but said that he was tired of being there and WWE snatched him up at the perfect time.

He then went on to claim that he never wants to go back to the indie circuit and revealed that he has recently signed a new contract with WWE.

Although Kevin did not provide much detail about his new contract, the former Champion’s words make it clear that he won’t be leaving WWE anytime soon.

Apart from this, Kevin Owens also discussed his recent cage match with Braun Strowman, Sami Zayn babysitting his cat and more. You can check out his full interview in the video below:

Bray Wyatt Teases New Entrance Theme, KO On WWE Getting New Universal Champion

Bray Wyatt Teases New Entrance Theme

It looks like Bray Wyatt is looking to shake things up. That may include a new entrance theme for “The Eater Of Worlds.” In his latest Tweet, Wyatt hinted at wanting a new WWE theme. He even tagged some artists that he’d like to hire for the job.

Kevin Owens On WWE Getting New Universal Champion

It’s possible the WWE Universe has a new Universal Champion after this weekend. Current title-holder Brock Lesnar will defend his strap against Roman Reigns at SummerSlam. The pay-per-view (PPV) will go down Sunday from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

On the other hand, Kevin Owens will be challenging Braun Strowman for the Money In The Bank (MITB) briefcase. Its been speculated that the winner could have an impact on Reigns’ and Lesnar’s match.

Owens cut a promo at a WWE live event in Roanoke, Virginia over the weekend. He said in one week we’ll have a new Universal Champion. “KO” didn’t note exactly who that would be. Perhaps he’s teasing that he’ll leave New York as the new Universal Champion?

John Cena vs Kevin Owens Announced For Super Show-Down

WWE will present WWE Super Show-Down in Melbourne Australia on October 6th, 2018. The show will emanate from the massive Melbourne Cricket Ground, sometimes simply referred to as “The G”.

The venue holds over 100,000 fans for cricket matches.

John Cena vs Kevin Owens has just been announced as the second confirmed match for the card. Previously, the Undertaker vs Triple H was also confirmed.

The match was announced recently by the WWE Australia Twitter account.

https://twitter.com/wweaustralia/status/1027865419359514625?s=21

WWE Australia

WWE has several talents from Australia at the moment. In addition to the Iiconics, WWE also has the Mighty, Buddy Murphy, and Rhea Ripley. Technically, Nia Jax was born in Australia but she would later move to Hawaii and then San Diego.

The first Australian born women’s wrestler to work in WWE, Emma, was released from her contract late last year. She was a big hit on the company’s Australian tour in 2017.

Ronda Rousey in Australia

Ronda Rousey is featured in advertising for the show as well. Rousey famously lost the UFC Bantamweight Championship in Melbourne, when she lost to Holly Holm at UFC 193.

WWE Super-Shows

It is notable that WWE is stacking this card with legends such as John Cena and the Undertaker. The last time WWE did that for a show which was to air on the WWE Network was the Greatest Royal Rumble. WWE had large financial motives to provide a certain type of show in that case, however.

In this case, WWE may wish to stack the deck for a super-show simply because of the size of the venue and WWE wanting to create a special stadium-show atmosphere.

Bobby Roode & Kevin Owens Brawl (Video), Becky Lynch & Charlotte Fire Back At The IIconics

Bobby Roode & Kevin Owens Brawl (Video)

WWE posted a video on their official Twitter page from their live event in North Charleston, South Carolina. In the video, Bobby Roode & Kevin Owens brawl outside the ring. “The Glorious One” wound up defeating Owens when it was all said and done.

Check out the video here:

Owens is currently feuding with Braun Strowman on Monday Night RAW. He will face “The Monster Among Men” at SummerSlam on August 19th. Should “KO” emerge victorious, he will win Strowman’s Money In The Bank (MITB) briefcase.

Roode is also involved in a feud of his own on RAW. He has been butting heads with Mojo Rawley lately. They will square off on tonight’s show from Jacksonville, Florida.

Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair Fire Back At The IIconics

Peyton Royce and Billie Kay, The IIconics, recently mocked Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair on Twitter. The pair pretended to act like Flair and Lynch, even mimicking their “tea time” gesture.

They also said that Lynch only won her matches on SmackDown Live while Flair was away nursing her injuries. The IIconics also took issue with Flair getting thrown in the SummerSlam SmackDown Live Women’s Title match for doing “absolutely nothing”:

https://twitter.com/PeytonRoyceWWE/status/1025849752863354881?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw

Lynch and Flair offered a video response of their own. They noted that The IIconics haven’t defeated anyone of merit during their run on SmackDown Live. Flair and Lynch ended off by saying “isn’t that iconic?” Here’s the video:

Kevin Owens Injury Update Following Extreme Rules Cage Spot

WWE has released an update on the medical condition of Raw’s Kevin Owens.

At Extreme Rules on Sunday, Braun Strowman chokeslammed Owens off the top of the cage through an announcer’s table below. Owens was taken away via stretcher after technically winning the match.

Kevin Owens Injury Update

“After a 20-foot descent through an announce table during his Steel Cage Match against Braun Strowman at WWE Extreme Rules,” A WWE statement reads. “Kevin Owens sustained multiple injuries, including bruising of the shoulder and back, bruised ribs and a neck strain. He will be re-evaluated later in the week.”

“The injuries occurred during the final moments of the match,” the statement continues. “When Strowman hurled Owens from atop the cage, sending him through an announce table at ringside, technically winning the match by leaving the structure first. Owens was then rushed to a local medical facility for evaluation.”

How Long Will Kevin Owens Be Out of Action?

While Kevin Owens did not appear on Raw, he is still expected to appear at Raw’s house shows. He is still advertised as a featured performer for Saturday’s house show in Lexington, KY.

Kevin Owens Social Media Accounts Back To Dark

Following the Shania Twain concert, Kevin Owens returned all of his social media pages back to dark. Owens had previously stated the only reason he returned to Twitter was to encourage Shania Twain to play his favorite song at a Montreal concert.

Kevin Owens Discusses Why He Prefers To Be On WWE RAW Brand

Kevin Owens has made it clear that he prefers to be featured on the RAW brand.

The former WWE Universal Champion recently conducted an interview with the Argus Leader where he talked about various topics including why he prefers being part of the RAW brand instead of SmackDown Live.

If you recall, the sports entertainment company decided to move Owens as well as Sami Zayn to the flagship show of the WWE from SmackDown Live after their match with Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 34 back in April.

Owens would explain that he feels that he looks like he is at home on RAW and that the brand is the place for him. Here is what he had to say:

“I absolutely have a preference; I would much rather be on RAW. I’m a lot happier on RAW. I actually can’t overthink how much better I think I am on RAW than I was on Smackdown. And I don’t really know the reason why that is. I feel like I look more at home here, and I feel like I look like I belong here. It’s pretty obvious that RAW’s the place for me.”

Kevin Owens Helped To Back After Portable Toilet Ride (Video)

The main event of last night’s Raw was scheduled to be a match between Kevin Owens and Braun Strowman. Owens ran away from the match shortly after it began, however. This resulted in a count-out victory for Strowman.

Strowman then chased after Owens and eventually trapped him inside a portable washroom. Strowman then shoved the portable toilet off the Raw stage.

WWE cameras kept rolling after Raw ended and captured Owens being helped to the back after the incident.

Kevin Owens vs Braun Strowman

Although not officially announced, it looks as though Strowman will likely face Kevin Owens at Extreme Rules on July 15th, 2018. There is speculation the match could take place inside a steel cage.

Strowman and Owens have met in single’s action 3 times previously. Owens defeated Strowman via DQ in their first meeting from early 2017. That match was for Owens’ Universal Championship at the time. The next time they met was on May 7th, 2018. Strowman defeated Owens in a Money in the Bank Qualifying match. Last night was their 3rd meeting and Strowman won again, this time via count-out.

Kevin Owens Signs 5-Year Contract Extension

As Owens’ opponent climbs the ranks in WWE, Owens recently solidified his future in it. The 34-year-old recently signed a 5-year contract extension with the company.

“I don’t see why I will not finish my career with WWE,” Owens told TVA Sports after he signed. “I just recently signed a new five-year contract with them. I do not intend to go anywhere (when) my contract ends. If the WWE wants to continue, if I want to continue and my family is ready for me to continue, I do not see why it would not happen.”

Additionally, Owens recently lived out a dream of his by appearing on stage with Shania Twain. Owens offered Angle free Shania Twain tickets last night on Raw as well.

Former WWE US Champion Announces Departure From MLW, Kevin Owens Recovers After Raw

Former WWE US Champion Announces Departure From MLW

Former WWE United States Championship and former Impact Wrestling Star MVP announced through a video on Instagram that he has parted ways with the Major League Wrestling or MLW promotion.

In the video, MVP praised the young wrestlers working for the company and regarding the reason behind his departure, the former WWE Star said that he does not want to get into it because he does not completely understand them.

He also revealed that he will be appearing on several upcoming MLW Fusion episodes that were taped beforehand. You can check out the video he posted below:

Kevin Owens Recovers After Raw

The main event of this week’s episode of Raw saw Kevin Owens facing Braun Strowman in a one on one match and Braun won the bout when Owens got himself counted out.

Strowman then chased Kevin and launched a portable toilet with Owens trapped inside it, off the stage. After the show, WWE posted the following video where the former Universal Champion is seen recovering after the attack from the Monster Among Men:

It’s worth mentioning here that a steel cage match between these two stars is being advertised locally for the upcoming Extreme Rules PPV and after tonight’s show, it appears that the company is building towards it as well.

Kevin Owens Talks Getting Tossed Off Of 20-Foot Ladder, Pre-Match Rituals

Kevin Owens has reflected on being tossed off a ladder as well talked about how he prepares for a match.

The former WWE Universal Champion recently conducted an interview with the Argus Leader where he talked about various topics including the spot that saw Braun Strowman toss him off a huge ladder at the WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view event in Chicago, Illinois at the Allstate Arena on the WWE Network, which ended up featuring Strowman winning the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match.

“I don’t know how well it can go when you get thrown off a 20-foot ladder. I’m definitely feeling it; it was an uneasy morning. It’s not part of the risks we take as wrestlers, but stuff like that doesn’t happen every night obviously, but when you got these ladder matches, there’s high stakes, and everybody’s trying to make a name for themselves. Everybody wants to get the MITB contract; that usually means at some point they will become champion. That’s a big deal; that’s what everybody strives for. I’m a professional, and I get used to stuff like that, but I never experienced what I did last night. But I’ll be ready to go before you know it.”

Owens also talked about what goes through his head before a match in the ring under the banner of the sports entertainment company.

He noted that he doesn’t have rituals but does reflect on the influences on his career, who he stated is the late Owen Hart.

“I don’t know what’s going through my mind. I don’t have any specific rituals. The only thing I’ll do every single time… not to get into the whole topic of religion here, but some people believe in God and some people believe in all kinds of things. I don’t have many particular beliefs, but I do believe in people who we’ve lost. I’ll speak to Owen Hart; he was a big influence on me as a young wrestler, and when he passed, I felt a great sense of loss. Ever since then I just talk to Owen Hart before every match and I ask him to be with me and make sure I don’t get hurt. Throughout the years I have added people to that list. I have lost people in this industry, and I speak to them as well, guys like Dusty Rhodes. And I’ll talk to my grandfather and grandmother who have also passed. I ask those people who are looking down on me to make sure I get through the match safely.”

Kevin Owens Joins Shania Twain On Stage at Concert (Video)

Kevin Owens lived out one of his biggest dreams last night. He attended the Shania Twain concert in Montreal, QC, Canada and was brought up on stage by the singer. Owens only returned to Twitter earlier this year in the hopes he would be able to convince Twain to sing the song “When” at the concert last night.

Owens even brought a wrestling-styled sign to the concert for Twain which he was able to bring on stage with him.

Kevin Owens Loves Shania Twain

While Owens might be a huge Shania Twain fan, he confused the date of her Montreal performance last week. Owens spent hours posting on social media last Tuesday that he was going to see Shania Twain that night. When he discovered he had confused the date, Owens turned on himself.

Kevin Owens Twitter Bio

“I got verified again so that I can beg Shania Twain to play my favorite song “When” at her concert this summer in Montreal because I’ll be there. I’m serious.”

Last Tuesday Owens sent out a Tweet reading the following:

“Hello @Shania Twain! I’m Kevin. I’m a @WWE wrestler and fellow Canadian,” Owens wrote in a since-deleted Tweet. “I had quite a rough couple of days. I was thrown off a very tall ladder by an awful man. I’m really hurting … What would make me feel better is hearing you sing ‘When’ at your concert in Montreal tonight.”

Steel Cage Match Advertised For Extreme Rules

WWE is set to hold its Extreme Rules pay-per-view (PPV) from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on July 15th. It will be the final PPV before SummerSlam in August.

Currently AJ Styles is set to defend his WWE Title against Rusev at the event, and last night on RAW a bout between Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley was teased as well. It seems that another match is also set to take place at the event – but this one will be inside a Steel Cage.

According to the PPG Paints Arena website, Kevin Owens and Braun Strowman are being advertised to go one-on-one inside a Steel Cage at the event. Owens and Strowman have had their share of issues on RAW for the past few weeks.

Last night on RAW Strowman partnered up with Owens to defeat the team of Finn Balor and Baron Corbin. After the match Strowman chased Owens out of the arena and destroyed his car in the parking lot.

The card is still “subject to change” but it’s interesting to see that the PPG Paints Arena is advertising this match to happen.

Kevin Owens Touts Former NXT Rival As “Best Promo In Wrestling”

Kevin Owens is no stranger to what makes a good wresting promo. As one of the best talkers in the business, his endorsement of a former NXT rival as the “best promo in wrestling” carries a lot of weight.

https://twitter.com/FightOwensFight/status/1009443067580092417

New Japan Pro Wrestling star Juice Robinson (known as CJ Parker during his time in NXT) was Owen’s opponent in his debut WWE match at NXT R-Evolution.

The match was notable because it left Owens with a broken nose and was his only WWE match as a babyface. He turned heel approximately 90 minutes after the match by turning on Sami Zayn at the end of that show.

Juice Robinson Credits Dusty Rhodes

Since leaving NXT, Robinson has found a home in New Japan. He is scheduled to face Jay White for the IWGP United States Championship on July 7th at the G1 Special in San Francisco.

During a conference call with the wrestling media this week to promote the G1 event, Robinson attributed his promo skills to his time in NXT, specifically working under Dusty Rhodes and Rhodes’ Wednesday Morning Promo Class.

“Dusty would always just preach being real. For me he would always tell me to be myself and not to worry don’t think about lines or this or that just know the direction and how you feel it’s more about why you feel that way. He would always say it’s the why not the how.

Why do I feel this way? Why am I mad at Jay [White]? My hand’s broken, why? Not how am I going to show everybody how I feel but it’s why do I feel this way. If you think about why you do it then you’re gonna be… it doesn’t matter what you say because you’re saying the right thing. You don’t have to think about your words, it’s gonna come out right.”

Kevin Owens Pleads With Shania Twain On Twitter

“I got verified again so that I can beg Shania Twain to play my favorite song “When” at her concert this summer in Montreal because I’ll be there. I’m serious.” – Kevin Owens Twitter bio.

According to Kevin Owens, tonight is the night he finally sees Shania Twain in concert. The former Universal Champion will see if the return to Twitter was worth it.

https://twitter.com/FightOwensFight/status/1009008950795210752

“Hello, @ShaniaTwain! I’m Kevin. I’m a @WWE wrestler and fellow Canadian. I had quite a rough couple of days. I was thrown off a very tall ladder by an awful man. I’m really hurting… What would make me feel better is hearing you sing “When” at your concert in Montreal tonight.”

Shania Twain’s official concert at Montreal’s Bell Center takes place June 26th, 2018. It’s possible Owens is referring to a small, unannounced warm-up show taking place before her “Now” Tour begins, however.

https://twitter.com/FightOwensFight/status/1009008990272081920

“By the way, I’m sorry that my tweet will now probably get you bombarded all day by @WWE fans asking you to play “When” tonight but my awesome wife surprised me with tickets for your concert and I really want to hear it live. It’s my favourite.
Thanks!”

Kevin Owens Really Likes Shania Twain

Shania Twain is a singer-songwriter from Timmons, ON, Canada. She is perhaps best known for her hit singles “Any Man of Mine”, “That Don’t Impress Me Much” and “Man, I Feel Like A Woman”.

Owens is evidently a big fan of the song “When”. The song’s official video can be viewed in the player below:

Kevin Owens On Wanting To Be WWE Universal Champion Again, Triple H Hypes UK Tournament

Kevin Owens Wants Title

WWE has released this video of Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens coming out for the main event at the WWE live event in Monroe, Louisiana over the weekend where they teamed up Jinder Mahal for a loss to Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman and Finn Balor.

Owens was interviewed at the event where he talked about wanting to get back the WWE Universal Title, which is currently held by Brock Lesnar.

Triple H Is A Hype Man

Triple H took to his official Twitter account to hype this year’s WWE UK Title tournament, which kicked over the weekend with the first round matches at the Download Festival in the UK.

Now, the tournament continues with the quarterfinals on Monday, June 18th and the winner will face WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne on Tuesday, June 19th in London.

As noted, these events will air on WWE’s streaming service, WWE Network, on Monday, June 25th, and Tuesday, June 26th.

What are your thoughts on Owens’ comments? Sound off in the comment section below.

WWE Building A Long-Term Feud Between Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have the kind of on-screen relationship that will have them involved in each other’s careers for the foreseeable future.

The pair were good friends on WWE NXT, until Zayn won the Championship and was betrayed by Owens. Once both men found themselves on the main roster they had some classic battles inside the ring and continued their rivalry.

Now, Zayn and Owens are friends again and are currently on Monday Night RAW together. There have been hints recently that the duo could turn on each other again very soon. Per a report from Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, that will indeed happen.

WWE seems to be taking a slow-burn approach with these two, but they will inevitably feud with one another down the road again. If it’s dragged out long enough, perhaps this could lead to a singles match between Owens and Zayn at WrestleMania 35 next year in New Jersey.

Discussion: How do you feel about WWE having Owens and Zayn feud over a long period of time? Would you like to see them have a singles match at WrestleMania?

Kevin Owens Wrestles Third Match After Raw, Bobby Roode On Qualifying For Money In The Bank

Kevin Owens Wrestles Third Match After Raw

This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw saw Kevin Owens pulling double duty. He first wrestled in an Intercontinental Championship match against Seth Rollins in a losing effort.

The former Universal Champion then went on to replace Jinder Mahal in the announced Triple Threat main event of the show which saw Kevin winning the bout and qualifying for the Money In The Bank.

However, Owens’ night didn’t end there as he wrestled one more match after this. He teamed up with Sami Zayn & Elias to face the team of Bobby Lashley, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins in a dark main event.

The tag match was won by the faces to send the crowd home happy. It’s worth mentioning here that Rollins, Lashley, and Elias also pulled double duty during the night as they had wrestled matches earlier in the show.

Bobby Roode On Qualifying For Money In The Bank

This week’s episode of Raw saw Bobby Roode, Alexa Bliss and Kevin Owens qualifying for their respective Money In The Bank matches after winning separate bouts during the event.

After the show, WWE posted a Raw fallout video featuring Bobby Roode where the former NXT Champion talked about his victory and the upcoming Ladder match.

Roode said that being the WWE Champion has been his dream since he was 8 years old and the title is the reason why he is here. The video can be seen below:

Kevin Owens Recently Signed 5-Year WWE Contract

RAW Superstar Kevin Owens recently signed a new 5-year deal with WWE that will keep him with the company through 2023.

During an interview with Canada’s TVA Sports, Kevin Owens told Pat Laprade (translated):

“Hopefully I do not see why I will not finish my career with WWE. I just recently signed a new five-year contract with them. I do not intend to go anywhere [when] my contract ends. If the WWE wants to continue, if I want to continue and my family is ready for me to continue, I do not see why it would not happen.”

Now in the 18th year of his professional wrestling career, the married father of two says he’d be very proud of what he’s accomplished in the ring.

“If it ends tomorrow, I would be very satisfied with the career I had as a professional wrestler.”

Other topics discussed include Canadian wrestling legends and why Montreal won’t be hosting a WWE pay-per-view any time soon. Visit tvasports.ca to read the full interview.

Kevin Owens: 18-Year Veteran

Owens would have good reason to satisfied with his accolades, as he’s held many championships throughout his career. Prior to joining WWE, he held the Ring of Honor World Championship and the the PWG Championship three times. He signed with WWE in 2014 and went on to have a lengthy reign as NXT Champion.

Last night’s crowd in Montreal, Canada showed a ton of love for their fellow Canadians – but Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens received some major pops. Roman Reigns’ promo opened up the night but was soon interrupted by Jinder Mahal, Zayn, and Owens – all of whom wanted a piece of The Big Dog.

Ultimately all three men jumped Reigns and Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman came out for the save. This led to a Six Man Tag Team match being made later on in the night between the teams of Reigns, Strowman, and Lashley vs. Owens, Zayn, and Mahal.

The match actually proved to be a very entertaining one, and during a physical exchange outside by Owens and Reigns, Owen’s father (Terry) and The Big Dog playfully exchanged words.

Reigns was working on Owens agains the fan barrier when the pair began jawing off at one another. You can check out the video here below:
