Kofi Kingston On His Tag Team Championship Reign With CM Punk

Kofi Kingston has traveled a long road in WWE and he had won a number of secondary championships in the company before finally winning the WWE title at WrestleMania this year.

These title reigns include winning the Tag Team Championships for a record 8 times with various partners, including the likes of R Truth, Big E, Xavier Woods, and even CM Punk.

During a recent interview with WrestlingAc.com, the current WWE Champion talked about all these different reigns and revealed his experience of being in a tag team with the former leader of the Straight Edge Society.

Kingston claimed that it was awesome to be the tag champions with Punk because he learned a lot from the former ECW Champion during the time.

According to Kofi, who had made his debut on the main roster a year prior to this reign, Punk took him under his wing when he didn’t have to and he was always grateful for that friendship.

Apart from this, Kofi Kingston was also asked about his dream opponent from the current roster now that he has become the WWE Champion.

Replying to it, the former IC Champion said that he wants to compete with everyone and he wants to compete with the best. You can check out his full interview in the video below:

Kofi Kingston Retains WWE Title At Super ShowDown

Kofi Kingston has remained on top of the mountain in the WWE, and the reign as the WWE Champion continues.

He did so when he successfully beat Dolph Ziggler to remain as the WWE Champion, which serves as the top title on the SmackDown roster, at the WWE Super Showdown pay-per-view event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The program was booked due to Kevin Owens, who was supposed to challenge Kingston for the strap at this show, not wanting to travel to the country.

Thus, two weeks ago on SmackDown Live, Ziggler made his return to WWE television where he attacked Kingston. The angle was done after Kingston had beat Sami Zayn in a singles match. This led to a lengthy beatdown from Ziggler to Kingston.

Later in the show, Ziggler cut a promo on the stage about his actions which is where he explained that he should’ve been the one challenging for the WWE Title at WrestleMania 35 and not Kingston.

Ziggler was last seen working a match under the WWE banner at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event by entering the Men’s Royal Rumble Match at number 28 and making it all the way to the final four.

Kofi Kingston Reflects On Trip To Ghana

WWE Champion Kofi Kingston returned to Ghana for the first time in 26 years last week. Kingston was born in the country but moved to the Boston area when he was younger. He was born Kofi Nahaje Sarkodie-Mensah in 1981 in the city of Kumasi.

Kofi’s trip to Ghana lasted from May 30th to June 2nd. Camera crews were present and a documentary featuring Kofi’s trip is expected to air on the WWE Network at a later date.

Kingston’s last match before leaving for Ghana was on the May 28th edition of Smackdown. He defeated Kevin Owens on the show. The previous week, Kingston defeated Sami Zayn on Smackdown.

As of this writing, Kingston has held the WWE Championship for 57 days. He’s defended the title successfully 4x. He went to a no-contest with Seth Rollins on the RAW after Mania, then defeated Daniel Bryan in a title match on the May 6th episode of RAW.

Kingston beat AJ Styles and Sami Zayn in a triple threat title match on the May 7th edition of Smackdown and then beat Kevin Owens at Money in the Bank.

There will also be Media Engagements and In-Studio Interview.”

Kofi Kingston On Potential Rematch With Brock Lesnar

While many wouldn’t want to go against the Beast Brock Lesnar even once, the current WWE Champion Kofi Kingston is ready to take on the Beast once again if the opportunity comes.

Kingston was recently interviewed by The National and among other things, the SmackDown Star was asked about a potential rematch with the current Mr. Money In The Bank, Brock Lesnar.

Answering it, Kofi who wrestled the former Universal Champion with the New Day Members on his side during the 2015 Beast In The East event, claimed that he hopes Lesnar chooses him as his opponent as it will be an amazing challenge for him:

“For me to get in the ring with Brock Lesnar would be amazing. It is almost a measuring stick to see where I stand. We wrestled about four or five years ago. As a wrestler, a performer and a person I have grown so much since then.

So to get a second chance, at this point in my career, would be great. I am all about that. I do hope he chooses me. I think the match would be awesome but it would be an amazing challenge for me to see where I stand as a performer.”

Continuing on the topic, Kofi Kingston explained that his goal as the WWE champion is to be one of the greatest champions of all time and wrestling against legends like Lesnar is the way to do so.

Apart from this, the current WWE Champion also talked about being with the New Day for 5 years, his upcoming title defense against Dolph Ziggler and more. You can check out his full interview at this link.

Kofi Kingston Accepts Dolph Ziggler’s Challenge For Super Showdown

This week’s episode of SmackDown Live started with a celebration for the New Day as Big E made his return to the WWE Programming but it didn’t end the same way.

Dolph Ziggler made his return to WWE programming during the show and brutally assaulted Kofi Kingston just after his match with Sami Zayn.

Later in the episode, the former World Champion came out again and explained the reason behind his attack, saying that he should have been given the opportunity at the Elimination Chamber match instead of Kingston.

He continued this rant for a while and Ziggler then issued a challenge to Kofi for his WWE Championship at the upcoming Super Showdown from Saudi Arabia.

However, the company didn’t confirm this match during the broadcast of the show, which left fans wondering. The match was finally made official in a post-show interview where Kofi accepted Dolph’s challenge, as seen in the video below:

After this confirmation, the number of matches which have been made official for the show has become 7, which includes a 50 men Battle Royal similar to the Greatest Royal Rumble.

Other matches announced for the PPV include Undertaker vs. Goldberg, Triple H vs. Randy Orton and the recently announced Roman Reigns vs. Shane McMahon. You can check out an updated match card for the event here.

Dolph Ziggler Returns To WWE TV, Issues Super ShowDown Challenge

Dolph Ziggler made his return to WWE television where he attacked WWE Champion Kofi Kingston.

The angle was done after Kingston had beat Sami Zayn in a singles match on Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live in Providence, RI. This led to a lengthy beatdown from Ziggler to Kingston.

Later in the show, Ziggler cut a promo on the stage about his actions which is where he explained that he should’ve been the one challenging for the WWE Title at WrestleMania 35 and not Kingston. He would then challenge Kingston for the WWE Title at Super ShowDown.

Ziggler was last seen working a match under the WWE banner at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event by entering the Men’s Royal Rumble Match at number 28 and making it all the way to the final four.

WWE presents the Super ShowDown pay-per-view event on Friday, June 7th, 2019 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium that will air on the WWE Network at 2PM ET/11 AM PT. Here is the updated card:

Kofi Kingston Retains WWE Title At Money In The Bank

Kofi Kingston has remained on top of the mountain in the WWE, and the reign as the WWE Champion continues.

The top champion on SmackDown Live successfully retained his WWE Title over Kevin Owens at the WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view event in Hartford, CT.

This match got booked once Owens turned heel and attacked Kingston on the April 23 episode of SmackDown Live. Instead, of doing a rematch against Daniel Bryan, WWE went in this direction. The reason for that at the time was due to Bryan being sidelined with an unknown injury.

Moving along, Bryan got his rematch for the WWE Title against Kingston on a recent episode of Monday Night RAW and then moved to the tag team division where he became the SmackDown Tag Team Champions with Rowan.

Thus, it appears that the program and Owens and Kingston will continue heading into the next pay-per-view event that goes down Friday, June 7th, 2019 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.

What are your thoughts on Kingston retaining the title? Was this the right call by WWE officials? Sound off in the comment section.

Kevin Owens Discusses Whether Kofi Kingston Took His WrestleMania 35 Spot

Kevin Owens recently joined the State of Combat podcast to talk about a wide range of topics including his history with WWE Champion Kofi Kingston.

This is where Owens talked about Kingston earning the title match against Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 35 last month and ultimately winning the belt.

There are some who think that Owens was originally supposed to be Bryan’s opponent at this show but with Kingston’s performance in February at the Elimination Chamber PPV, things became clear that he should be in that spot.

Owens believes that Kofi didn’t step into anybody’s way actually but rather the fans got behind him at the right time and earned the spot.

“While it may have changed people’s plans, I wouldn’t say that he got into anybody’s way. All he did was be himself and be Kofi Kingston and that is what got him there because the fans decided that they were going to get behind him more than anybody else.”

Owens will now challenge Kingston for the strap at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view event on Sunday night. Make no mistake about it though, Owens thinks that he should be champion instead of Kingston right now because he’s a family man.

“I want the moment for my kids and my wife, so now Kofi Kingston is in the way. He wasn’t before but now he is, so I am going to do my best to get him out of the way.”

Kofi Kingston Supports WWE SmackDown Expanding To 3 Hours

Despite the fact that WWE has been dealing with a big decline of their television ratings for months now, there have been rumors of WWE adding a third hour to SmackDown Live.

This would be a change due to their television deal with FOX that kicks off in October. Many fans have expressed their disinterest in seeing SmackDown be extended from two hours to three hours.

WWE Champion Kofi Kingston recently spoke with Vicente Beltran from ViBe & Wrestling where he talked about this rumored possibility. Although Kingston admitted to not hearing the rumor prior to the interview, he did show his full support of the move.

Kingston noted that in his opinion, “the more wrestling on TV the better” because the more talent you get on television and he thinks that’s a good thing. He would add that “there is a lot of talent on our roster that the world doesn’t get to see.”

There is expected to be various changes to WWE when the FOX deal goes through in this fall as SmackDown Live starts to air on the broadcast network.

SmackDown Live events will run from Thursday through Sunday, which will be a change for the stars as they are currently running a schedule that goes Saturday through Tuesday.

Kofi Kingston Claims New Day Is Obeying The Freebird Rule With WWE Title

The Freebird rule allows a member of any faction to be champions even when his other teammates win the belt and the current WWE Champion Kofi Kingston is no stranger to this rule.

Kingston has been a part of the New Day since 2014 and the group has applied this rule throughout their five tag title reigns since the group’s inception.

However, during a recent interview with The Daily Star Kingston talked about the members of the New Day possibly challenging him for the WWE title and claimed that they obey the Freebird rule with the WWE title too.

Continuing on the topic, Kofi said that he would have supported Big E or Xavier Woods the same way they are supporting him now if they became the WWE Champion and when one of them achieves success, they all achieve it:

“If Big E or Woods were WWE Champion right now I would support them as much as they have supported me. And they feel the same way. We all work together and when one of us achieves the ultimate level of success, we all achieve it.”

Kofi’s claims make the situation pretty interesting and the Freebird rule being applied to the WWE title is something fans would love to see. Though so far, WWE has not confirmed this and they have only acknowledged Kofi Kingston alone as the WWE Champion.

Kofi Kingston Reveals Vince McMahon’s Reaction To His Title Win

After waiting patiently for over a decade, Kofi Kingston finally got his opportunity at WrestleMania this year and he seized the moment by defeating Daniel Bryan and winning his first World title in the company.

During a recent interview with talkSPORT, the New Champion discussed a number of things and also revealed Vince McMahon’s reaction on his title win.

Kofi first recalled the moments following his title victory saying that it was almost a blur for him and seeing happiness on the faces of people and his family was surreal.

Revealing Vince McMahon’s reaction to his win, Kingston said that everybody in the gorilla position was on their feet clapping and the Boss welcomed him with a huge smile on his face.

Apart from this, Kofi Kingston also talked about the critical remarks he has received from several WWE Hall of Famers since his championship win, like Billy Graham suggesting that he should start doing steroids to gain weight.

Kingston said that their opinions don’t affect him the slightest because he has a bigger mission. It’s a bigger picture type of thing for him and he welcomes all the criticism and feedback.

Kofi Kingston’s first PPV title defence is set to take place at the upcoming Money In The Bank on May 19th where he will be putting his title on the line against Kevin Owens.

Kofi Kingston Targets Top SmackDown Star After Kevin Owens Program

WWE Champion Kofi Kingston is already looking forward to his next feud on WWE television.

Kingston recently spoke with Express Sport where he spoke about a wide range of topics including if he would be open to giving a title shot to Roman Reigns. This is where he made it known that he’s more than willing to work with Reigns and give him a title shot due to him being a top star and being a past Universal Champion.

“Absolutely,” Kofi said when asked if Reigns deserves a shot. “I think Roman Reigns is an incredible talent, obviously he’s been through so much. He’s a fighter, a guy who has beaten leukaemia and now here he is. He’s back for what he loves to do. I love everything about Roman Reigns. I’d love to mix it up with him at some point. It would be great to have a little rivalry with Roman.”

This feud will have to wait as Kingston already has a feud going on at the moment. Kingston is slated to make his next title defense against Kevin Owens at the upcoming Money In The Bank pay-per-view event, which takes place on Sunday, May 19, 2019 in Hartford, CT at the XL Center.

However, after the feud, Kofi would be interested in wrestling Reigns.

“For me to go up there and be able to mix it up with who the people look at as one of the top dogs in the industry today I think it would be great. I think it would be great but only time will tell if that happens. I think I need to get through Kevin Owens first before I start thinking about other guys like Roman Reigns.”

Becky Lynch Issues Challenge To Bayley, Kofi Kingston Gets Called Out

Becky Lynch Issues Challenge To Bayley

Earlier this week, Bayley took to her official Twitter account where she made it known that she thinks being moved from WWE’s flagship show, Monday Night RAW, to SmackDown Live in the Superstar Shake-Up would be good for her.

Moving to this past Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live in Lincoln, NE at the Pinnacle Bank Arena, she lost a #1 contender’s match to Charlotte Flair. WWE RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch wrote back to Bayley by issuing the following statement:

https://twitter.com/BeckyLynchWWE/status/1122205306573004801

As a result of this win, Flair has secured the right to challenge Lynch for both titles at the upcoming Money In The Bank pay-per-view event on Sunday, May 19, 2019, in Hartford, CT at the XL Center.

Kofi Kingston Gets Called Out

WWE Champion Kofi Kingston has been called out Shinsuke Nakamura on social media. This comes after Kingston and Nakamura took on each other on this week’s Smackdown Live.

Nakamura has made it known that he would like to get a rematch with the top champ on the blue brand. He wrote the following:

It appears that Nakamura may have to wait for this chance as Kevin Owens looks to be next in line for a title shot.

New Day Members React To Kevin Owens Betrayal

This past Tuesday on SmackDown Live, honorary New Day member, Kevin Owens, would turn on both Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston.

Owens, who has a long history of turning on friends and tag team partners, showed his true colors once again. The attack would begin after the former Universal Champion nailed Kofi Kingston with a superkick. He would then deliver an impactful powerbomb to the apron onto Xavier Woods, who Owens had been performing commentary moments earlier during Kingston’s matchup against Shinsuke Nakamura.

Now the entirety of the New Day, including currently injured member, Big E, have reacted to the situation. Taking to Twitter, each member shared their thoughts and opinions on Kevin Owens and his actions.

“There Will Be Hell To Pay”

Woods would describe Owens as a “complete garbage human”:

His stablemate, Big E, described him as a “parasite,” adding that his “greatest joy” will be coming back to dole out a beating on KO.

“KO is the parasite in the system that desperately clings on to its host for life. Once its sucked all of the nutrients it can out of its host, it seeks another. I only take pleasure in knowing the virus has been detected & @TrueKofi & @XavierWoodsPhD will stomp out the organism.”

“My greatest joy will be returning in time to stomp the life out of the already lifeless roach myself.”

Current WWE Champion, Kofi Kingston, took a more thoughtful approach. He addressed the New Day giving Owens a chance, even when no one else would. He then promises that there will be hell to pay because of his most recent betrayal.

“Sometimes you feel compelled believe in someone and give them a chance, even when no one else will. As unpopular a decision as it may seem at the time, you give them the benefit of the doubt…And Then that person proves everyone right. Mark my words, there will be Hell to pay.”

Kevin Owens Turns On New Day, Attacks Kofi Kingston

Last night on Smackdown, Kevin Owens (aka “Big O”) turned on Kofi Kingston in the closing moments of the show. Kingston had just won a non-title match against Shinsuke Nakamura via DQ when the attack occurred.

Nakamura had taken out Xavier Woods on the outside, leaving Kofi on his own in the ring with KO. Owens then delivered a super-kick to Kofi. Woods would eventually prevent Owens from power-bombing Kingston on the ring apron but then ended up taking the move himself.

Kevin Owens Attacks Kofi Kingston on Smackdown

Owens has yet to comment on his actions from last night. He did, however, post the following to his Twitter page shortly after Smackdown ended:

https://twitter.com/FightOwensFight/status/1120872052758597633

Xavier Woods Comments On Kevin Owens Turning On New Day

Xavier Woods ended up taking a power bomb to the ring apron last night. He does not seem to be in good spirits today. Woods posted the following to Twitter earlier today, expressing his belief that Tyler Breeze should have been chosen as the new honorary member of New Day:

WWE Champion Kofi Kingston has yet to comment on the incident. Just hours before Smackdown, Kingston was preoccupied with helping to promote the new season of Cobra Kai.

Mark Henry Addresses Diversity In WWE

Kofi Kingston’s momentous title victory over Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 35 is still receiving waves of positive feedback—not only in regards to the story told but also for what it means to Kofi and representation within WWE.

WWE Hall Of Famer, Mark Henry, spoke with TMZ Sports about Kofi’s WWE Championship win. “The World’s Strongest Man” would candidly discuss the importance of Kingston becoming champion after a well-documented 11 years with the company. He labelled Kofi an inspiration for future generations of black Superstars.

“It’s very significant,” Henry said on Kofi becoming champion. “I said it best from Ron Simmons to myself, it was a 15 year period of black champions, with me and Booker T and The Rock and Ron Simmons, in that time-frame. 15 years from now there might be another 2 or 3 black wrestlers that come into the industry, and they were inspired by Kofi Kingston.”

“It’s A Powerful Thing To Have Representation”

Henry would go on to talk about the importance of representation and diversity within WWE, saying:

“[…] it’s a powerful thing to have representation, and it’s also a powerful thing to be able to see somebody that looks like you, and have them tell you, first-hand, the struggle and what it took to get there. And I think it’ll be balanced and great for the sport of wrestling, not from just a color standpoint but from an exposure standpoint. We need to have our kids exposed to seeing great talents like Kofi Kingston.”

When asked about diversity within the company, Henry reflected on when he first signed with the company, juxtaposing that with WWE’s current roster.

“I don’t think they have a diversity problem,” he added. “[…] When I came into wrestling there were 3 people, 3 black people in the company. There is growth. There is a future for the African-American in pro wrestling, and ya know, I want to be a part of that as much as I can.”

Henry recently posed in a photo, one shared by NXT’s Kieth Lee, that shows off the sheer depth of black talent within WWE today.

Original Name For War Raiders, Kofi Kingston Reacts To Roman Reigns’ Tweet

Original Name For War Raiders

We noted before how NXT’s War Raiders were renamed to ‘The Viking Experience’ for their Raw debut, a name which has attracted a lot of criticism in the last few days.

Though latest report reveals that this wasn’t the first choice for their name and according to Pwinsider, WWE was originally planning to name them ‘The Berzerkers’ for their move to the main roster.

No word yet on why the company decided to drop this name and went with the Viking Experience instead but it was noted that this call was made by Vince McMahon.

Kofi Kingston Reacts To Roman Reigns’ Tweet

This week’s episode of SmackDown Live saw Roman Reigns returning to the show and joining the Blue Brand for the first time since the reintroduction of Brand Split.

Roman commented on this switch via a tweet saying that SmackDown is his new yard and the WWE Champion Kofi Kingston reacted to this with a thinking emoji:

This week’s episode of the show makes it seem like Reigns will be engaging in a rivalry with Elias in near future while there is no word yet on who will be challenging Kofi Kingston for his title.

Kofi Kingston Reveals He Hasn’t Watched His WrestleMania Match Yet

Kofi Kingston has been part of an incredible journey in the past couple months and it culminated with him winning the WWE Championship by defeating Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 35.

However, during a recent promotional interview with USA Today for the Superstar Shakeup, the new champion revealed that he hasn’t watched his WrestleMania match yet.

Kofi was asked if he has watched the bout, and answering the question, the New Day Member revealed that he has seen some clips but not the full fight:

“I have not, I’ve seen clips of the pinfall, but the whole match in and of itself I haven’t had the time really to sit down. I don’t normally like watching myself perform, you know, but I think this is one that I’m going to have to watch back for sure.”

Continuing on the topic, Kingston also talked about the overwhelming response he has received on his championship win, revealing that it took him three days to get through all of his phone messages.

According to him, he had 150 different text messages from people and he hasn’t been able to get to the bottom of his Twitter timeline because everybody is flooding it with compliments and good luck messages.

So far we don’t know who Kofi Kingston will be facing in his first feud after becoming the champion and it’d be interesting to see if Superstar Shakeup provides us with a surprise opponent for his first rivalry.

Kofi Kingston Says New Day Will Never Break Up

With Kofi Kingston having won the WWE championship at WrestleMania 35, some are wondering what the future of New Day is. Will one of his partners turn against him in a quest to win the title for themselves? Will Kofi leave his teammates behind as he looks to headline future PPVs?

Kingston spoke to TMZ Sports recently and stated that New Day will never break up.

Kofi Kingston On New Day Potentially Breaking Up

“The philosophy of New Day has always been to lift your brother up,” Kingston said. “So, that is the goal.”

He continued to say that while sometimes a wrestler in a faction who has individual success leaves the group, he doesn’t see that as the path any member of New Day would take.

“Anyone who has seen New Day on TV, everything that we do is atypical,” he continued. “We come out, we skip, clap, I twerk, I wear unicorn horns, we wear pink and blue, you know what I’m saying?”

To break-up like other factions do, Kingston says, would not be a fitting story for New Day.

“Everything that we do is not your typical story,” he continued. “So for us to break up like that would be like the opposite of New Day and just doing the standard fair. So, from that aspect alone, it just won’t happen. Everything we do, we do together.”

Unfortunately for Kingston’s New Day stablemate, Big E, he’s out for an extended period of time with a torn meniscus.

“New Day is all about the group and that’s the way it’s going to be,” Kingston continued.

Kofi Kingston Talks Superstar Billy Graham Making Harsh Comments About Him

WWE Champion Kofi Kingston recently spoke about a wide range of pro wrestling topics during a recent interview with Newsweek.

During the interview, he talked about the comments made by pro wrestling legend Superstar Billy Graham. Leading up to WrestleMania 35 and even after, Graham made some harsh comments about the longtime WWE star.

Graham made it known that he thought Kingston being in the main event spot was a “joke” and not being thrilled about a “145 pound WWE Champion.” Graham then suggested that Kingston should take steroids to get bigger.

Kingston, who won the WWE Title from Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 35, has responded. As expected, he took the higher grand.

“I’ve heard a few things through the grapevine. Honestly, I haven’t seen them myself. People can say whatever they want. But as long as they turn on the television, they will see me as champion.

That’s really all that matters. And I don’t have a comment about people’s opinions. People are entitled to their own opinion as far as what a WWE Champion should be, but the fact is that I am WWE Champion and that’s a fact. It is what it is.”

Kofi Kingston Tops WWE Power Rankings, Tom Magee Match Resurfaces, More

WWE has released this week’s Power Rankings and the top spots are all taken by new champions. WWE Champion Kofi Kingston topped this week’s list, followed by RAW and SmackDown Women’s champion Becky Lynch, Universal Champion Seth Rollins, RAW tag team champions Ryder & Hawkins and WWE Women’s tag team champions, The IIconics.

WWE.com has released a gallery of 50 behind-the-scenes photos from WrestleMania 35.

Cody Rhodes responded to a fan asking if he would burn his old Starrdust outfit live on the air at AEW Double or Nothing. Cody says Starrdust was a rock-bottom professional low for him, but still a fairly successful gimmick that led him to where he is today.

WWE has added a new Tom Magee match to the “Hidden Gems” section of the WWE Network. It’s not the mythical Bret Hart match from 1986, but rather a match against the “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase from December 7th, 1988.

WWE Network subscribers can watch the match here.

Billy Graham Responds To Backlash After Kofi Kingston Steroid Comments

As noted, WWE Hall Of Famer “Superstar” Billy Graham has not been a fan of Kofi Kingston’s WWE Title run. Upon Kingston being announced as part of the WWE Championship match at WrestleMania, Graham expressed his concern with the booking.

Shortly after Bryan’s title win in New Jersey, Graham suggested that Kingston actually take steroids to improve his look. This advice wasn’t received well by the professional wrestling community, sparking outrage from the likes of WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T. Now, Graham has doubled down on his comments in a recent Facebook post.

Graham said that he advised Kingston to use steroids, but he never said anything about abusing them the way he did. He continued by saying that the likes of 16-time World Champion John Cena and Batista were likely using steroids throughout their careers as well. Check out Graham’s full post below:

Graham Doubles Down

Steroid ” Kofi ” Hysteria

OK fans, I hope someone can get a message to Kofi that me,
Superstar Billy Graham, has him all over his FB and that he is
causing pure pandemonium…Now lets hope he can match my
MSG sell outs, I had about 21 sell outs according to Dave Meltzer. By the way folks, at the time those sell outs were 22,000 fans and on most occasions 5,000 fans in the Felt Forum under the main floor.

So, let me address a few concerns some fans have about my advice to have Kofi bulk up a bit by using some steroids. Please notice that I urged Kofi to use some steroids …….but never told him to ABUSE them like I did. Please notice the two WWE greats in the photos below. Cena, 16 time WWE World Heavyweight Champion appears to me to very massive…..you think he might have been a little juiced in this photo ??? Of course …BUT…. no one is complaining about Vince’s golden boy being all roided up…or did you good folks simply forget ??? And Mr. Dave Batista posing with me backstage here in Phoenix. Ya think ol Dave might be on a little juice in this shot ??? No one is complaining here again….ya all just forgot didn’t you ???

A fan brought up Chris Masters; well add Bobby Lashley to that list of guys with muscular bodies that didn’t draw. Why ??? Zero F-ing charisma for both of those names that’s why. There are way to many comments for me to respond to as it’s Spring Break and I could use a break from all of this insanity. I just remember when I beat Bruno for the WWWF World Heavyweight Championship Title, I had to fight my way back to the locker room. I got spit on, pissed on, crapped on, hit with chairs, kicked, punched, beer thrown in my face, screamed at and called every foul obscene name you can think of. What did we see last night on Smackdown 4/9/2019 – the ring with a rainbow of balloons of all colors over it, a pile of pancakes piled up in each corner on the ring posts, and little toy cartoon graphics. With the Big E declaring, ” There will be no comedy tonight ” and Kofi thanking everyone and mentioning his lovely wife and children standing ringside.

Grant Heller has it right when he said…” It’s the era of the small man ” well I thank God above I was there during the era of the big man…because I want no part of this comedy act that is coming. S.B.G
