Kurt Angle On If WWE Should Turn Roman Reigns Heel

Whether or not Roman Reigns should turn heel is a discussion which has been going on for years now and seeing the current WWE scenario, this debate is only destined to continue.

Raw General Manager Kurt Angle recently held a question and answer session on his Official Facebook page where a fan asked him whether he thinks the Big Dog Should turn heel.

Replying to it, the Hall Of Famer said that the answer is both yes and no because fans continue to respond to the former Shield Member indicating that it doesn’t matter if it’s a positive or negative response:

“Yes and no. The fans continue to respond to Roman…whether it’s a positive or negative response. Fans CARE about him. Whether he stays face or turns heel, he will always be “the guy”. He gets a huge response every time he comes out to the stage. It’s called popularity. And he’s really good. ”

It’s worth mentioning here that recent reports claim that Officials are still trying to find ways to get people to cheer Roman, despite his recent loses to Brock Lesnar and the company is expected to continue pushing Reigns as a babyface.

Discussion – How do you think WWE should handle Roman Reigns after losing to Brock Lesnar twice? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section.

Kurt Angle Q&A: Dean Ambrose’s Return From Injury, Cesaro Being Underrated, Titus O’Neil’s Botch

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle recently did a Q&A on Facebook and commented on a number of interesting topics.

Angle returned to in-ring competition under the WWE banner at last year’s Survivor Series pay-per-view event in November.

He teamed up with former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey to take on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 34 in a Mixed Tag Team Match at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The WWE Hall of Famer last worked a match under the WWE banner at the Greatest Royal Rumble pay-per-view event. Speaking of that event, a fan asked him about Titus O’Neil’s botch at the event.

“I cringed when it occurred. But I like the fact that Titus is humble enough to make fun of it. It’s a “wrestling moment” that will never be forgotten.”

He was also asked about the five WWE Superstars that can carry the company, which he listed,“Roman, Seth, Ambrose, Braun, Balor, Roode, Elias. Jordan, Gable, Mahal, Ronda, Asuka…Nia. Oops…that’s more than 5. And I forgot the SmackDown talent. Lots to choose from.”

Angle was also asked about one underrated star in the sports entertainment company, which he responded, “Cesaro. He hasn’t been world champ yet.”

Finally, he was asked about Dean Ambrose’s return from injury. If you recall, Ambrose underwent successful surgery to repair a high-grade triceps tendon in December.

Ambrose’s arm injury reportedly took place at the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs pay-per-view event back on October 22nd. During that pay-per-view, Ambrose took a bump on a table that didn’t break.

Following the match, his right arm immediately swelled up. While Ambrose didn’t take any time off and continued to work through the pain, things got worse over time.

“Dean will be back very soon. I can’t comment on when though.”

What are your thoughts on Angle’s comments? Sound off in the comment section below.

Kurt Angle Reveals Setback In His WrestleMania 34 Match

The match of Kurt Angle, Ronda Rousey, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H received praise from fans around the world and was considered one of the best matches of the night on WrestleMania 34.

However, during a recent interview with USA Today for promoting the Superstar Shakeup, the Raw General Manager revealed one setback of his WrestleMania return match.

According to Angle, he pulled a muscle in his quad just two days before the event, similar to what happened before his in-ring return at the Survivor Series PPV last year:

“The only setback was, again, because of my overtraining, I pulled a muscle in my quad just like I did before Survivor Series. I was more concerned about that than the match itself. I didn’t want to disappoint anyone. When I was training a couple of days prior, I couldn’t push off of my one leg. And I was like ‘oh God, not again.”

Continuing on the topic, Kurt also talked about how Survivor Series was a big letdown for him as he couldn’t do much and hence he did whatever he had to do to make his Mania match as good as it was.

Apart from this, Kurt Angle also talked about Bobby Lashley’s WWE return and how he wants to see Lashley vs Brock Lesnar somewhere down the line. You can check out his full interview here.

Steve Austin Grades Ronda Rousey’s WM 34 Performance

This past weekend in New Orleans former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey made her in-ring WWE debut at WrestleMania 34. The Rowdy One teamed up with Kurt Angle to pick up a win over Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in Mixed Tag Team action.

Despite fans’ initial expectations, Rousey actually did very well for herself inside the ring and wound up picking up the win for her team after locking in an armbar on McMahon. WWE Hall Of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin took to his podcast, The Steve Austin Show, to grade Rousey’s performance.

The Texas Rattlesnake said he “absolutely loved” the match and found it very entertaining:

“This was such an entertaining match and I was really wondering how Ronda would handle the moment. Some people have questioned some of her interview skills, and she’s not used to being on an RF mic in front of 20,000 people in these arenas. Mostly it’s trash-talk, and soundbites, and stuff like that and a shoot aspect, and not following storyline stuff, I was wondering, ‘would the moment be too great for her?’ And this match was so damn entertaining.

“There were so many twists and turns, and submission-type moves, and right when you thought, ‘well, here’s the finish,’ they extended it – that wasn’t the finish. And the crowd bought into this. It started off a tad slow. People were wondering, I think, just like I did, but boom! They set the hook there, mister. And, damn near from the bell, it was on. That crowd, everybody there was into that match.”

Austin then broke down Rousey’s body language during the performance, specifically noting how The Rowdy One was smiling from ear to ear when she made her way to the ring:

“When she came out smiling, she looked like a million bucks.” Austin recalled, “I liked the plaid skirt and she came out. She had her gear on and then it was time. She got her game face on at the point, but I know where that came from. I’ll guarantee you that was straight out of the old man. ‘Go out there and smile’ because we know she’s a badass. We know she [has] got that mean mug face when it’s time to go out there and do business.

“And there were plenty of opportunities, and that did happen during the course of the match, but it felt a little weird to me, too, but, I think that he wanted her to smile just to be accessible, maybe to calm the nerves or maybe she’s more free when she’s focused, that laser-focus that she has. But I didn’t expect her to smile.

“But it was her first big performance in front of 78,000 people. Some people were knocking her on it. I could go either way on it, but I do know that when the bell rang, I was watching her body language and hang onto that tag rope.”

With all that being said, taking into account Rousey’s overall performance on The Grandest Stage Of Them All, Austin gave Rousey an A+ – and offered the same grade to the match as well:

“Obviously, they put a lot of time into this, she’s obviously a very talented person, and you had three hands in there with Kurt, Steph, and Triple H being able to go out there and help along with the referee,” Austin explained. “So all of the pieces were set in place for this thing to be, and this thing was built to make all of them shine, but specifically Ronda and help get her over.

“And yeah, this one, I thought they knocked a grand slam, the bases were loaded, and they knocked it out of the park. And so, we’ll see what happens in the future when she starts moving into single’s endeavors, tag team endeavors. Yeah, this was great and they pulled it off. So she still has work to do, but as far as her performance goes, I give her an A+. And I give the match an A+ because that’s how entertained I was by it.”

Liv Morgan Accidentally Posts Run Sheet For NXT TV Tapings (Photo), IMPACT Jokes About Hiring

– Liv Morgan made a big mistake by posting a photo on her Instagram story earlier today. Morgan posted a photo of herself without realizing the run sheet for tonight’s NXT tapings was in the background.

The sheet lists out three matches that are scheduled for the program, as well as which Superstars are involved in various segments. WWE Hall Of Famer Shawn Michaels was listed as producing a few segments as well as two matches featuring Aleister Black.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BhdQgY0ANTT/

– As we’ve noted, RAW General Manager Kurt Angle name-dropped TNA on this past Monday’s episode during a segment with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Owens and Zayn, who are out of a job at SmackDown Live following their WrestleMania loss to Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon, came to RAW in hopes of finding a spot on the roster.

Angle told the pair that his tag team division was full, but he hears that TNA is hiring. Fans went nuts for the line. IMPACT even responded to the name-drop on their Twitter account shortly after. Now, several days later, IMPACT has again referenced their name being mentioned on WWE TV.

The account joked that someone came into their offices with donuts and a resume, before saying they’re the company everyone wants to work for:

IMPACT Responds To Kurt Angle’s TNA Name-Drop On RAW

This past Sunday at WrestleMania 34 Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn lost their Tag Team match to Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon – meaning they are out of a job on SmackDown Live.

Now on the hunt for a job, Owens and Zayn made an appearance on last night’s episode of Monday Night RAW. They asked Kurt Angle for a job to which Angle responded with “My tag team division is full, but I hear TNA is hiring.”

Fans in the crowd and online went nuts for the line, and this prompted IMPACT Wrestling to respond on Twitter by saying “We Are IMPACT,” correcting Angle for calling them TNA:

Angle later allowed Zayn and Owens to fight in a singles match, where the winner would receive a RAW contract. Unfortunately for the pair they fought to a draw and neither one received the RAW deal, as chants of “TNA” broke out in the crowd.

In regards to Angle saying TNA is hiring, IMPACT’s Twitter account also responded by saying they didn’t take it as an insult:

Kurt Angle Q&A: CM Punk’s Next UFC Fight, Teaming With Ronda Rousey, More

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle recently did a Q&A on Facebook and commented on a number of interesting topics.

During the session, a fan asked about UFC President Dana White confirming in a recent interview with TMZ Sports that CM Punk will indeed fight Mike Jackson next.

White did not confirm when they would fight but it’s likely going to be at UFC 225 pay-per-view event that is slated to go down on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

“Punk is a talented kid. It’s up to him. If he shows up to fight he will do ok. He didn’t show up last time. He was there but he didn’t fight back.”

Angle is slated to team up with former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey to take on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 34 in a Mixed Tag Team Match. He was asked about his game plan for the match.

“To WIN! I have to keep Ronda from getting frustrated. I know how HHH and Steph try to play mind games. Not on Sunday.”

Finally, he was asked about which match made him most nervous. Angle responded by stating, “WM19. I was injured prior to it. Brock had just started on the main roster. It was stressful.”

Kurt Angle Reflects On His 12-Year Absence From WrestleMania

WWE Hall of Famer and current General Manager of the flagship show of the sports entertainment company, Monday Night RAW, Kurt Angle decided to take some time to reflect on his career.

He left the WWE in 2006 but returned last year to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Ever since it was announced that Angle would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, fans started speculating that he would wrestle again in the biggest sports entertainment company in the world.

Angle returned to in-ring competition under the WWE banner at last year’s Survivor Series pay-per-view event in November.

Now, he’s slated to team up with former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey to take on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 34 in a Mixed Tag Team Match.

Angle posted the following on Instagram to reflect on his 12-year absence from WrestleMania. He wrote the following:

“12 years have gone by since my last Wrestlemania. Can’t wait to perform on the biggest stage of all stages. It’s in my blood. Hey New Orleans…. I’m comin’ !!! #itstrue #wrestlemania34 #TeamAngle/Rousey.”

Triple H On How Important WWE Is To He & Stephanie, TMZ Reviews Ric Flair’s New Suits (Video)

– WWE COO Triple H and Monday Night RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon are currently scheduled to compete in a Mixed Tag Team match against RAW General Manager Kurt Angle and ex-UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey.

This will be Rousey’s first match in her professional wrestling career. “The Game” took to Twitter to post the following video on he and Stephanie’s preparations for New Orleans, as well as what WWE means to them:

– Two-time WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair recently launched his own line of suits with Mr. Custom Made, and currently offers 12 items ranging from  $595 to $795. The Ric Flair Collection can be found via this link.

TMZ Sports posted a video reviewing Flair’s suit line, and noted Flair has sent pairs to stars such as The Rock and Jamie Foxx, among many more. Check it out:

Videos Of Ronda Rousey Training For WrestleMania

WWE has released a series of videos featuring former UFC star Ronda Rousey training for her debut match at WrestleMania. The former UFC women’s bantamweight champion is teaming up with fellow Olympian Kurt Angle against WWE executives Stephanie McMahon and Triple H, formerly “The Authority.”

Here are some clips from Rousey’s Friday training session at the WWE Performance Center:

Kurt Angle Q&A: WWE Changing Name Of Fabulous Moolah Battle Royal, Charlotte vs. Asuka At WrestleMania

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle recently did a Q&A on Facebook and commented on a number of interesting topics.

During the session, a fan asked about the Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka match at WrestleMania 34. Flair is slated to defend the SmackDown Women’s Title against this undefeated superstar of the sports entertainment company’s flagship show, Monday Night RAW.

Angle said, “They could steal the show. Don’t underestimate those 2 together.”

Angle himself has a match at the biggest event of the year for the WWE as he is slated to tag up with former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey to take on Triple H and his wife Stephanie McMahon in a Mixed Tag Team Match. Angle was asked if he would be wrestling after Mania and he stated, “I better be.”

WWE has announced last week that the first-ever Fabulous Moolah Battle Royal would take place at WrestleMania 34. The match is a female version of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Since that announcement, there was a lot of fan backlash over the name of the match. Thus, some WWE fans are taking it a step further as a petition has surfaced online to try and get WWE to change the name of the match. The petition has been signed by over 4000 people. This led to the WWE changing the name of the match to the “Women’s Battle Royal.” Angle also gave his take on this situation.

“Moolah deserves my respect. From what I knew about her, she was sweet, kind and amazing as a female wrestler.”

Cody Rhodes Teases Pyro At “All In,” Kurt Angle Thanks Eddie Guerrero, WrestleMania’s Shortest Matches (Video)

– In one of Cody Rhodes’ latest Tweets he nudged at the possibility of his upcoming “All In” event in Chicago featuring pyrotechnics. The event goes down on September 1st from The Sears Center Arena, which holds up to 11,800 fans:

– This week marks 14 years since late-WWE Hall Of Famer Eddie Guerrero defeated Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 20 to retain his WWE Championship. The Monday Night RAW General Manager took to Instagram to pay homage to his fallen friend:

“14 years ago to this day, I shared the ring with possibly the greatest overall performer of all time, #eddieguerrero. He always had something up his sleeve, and he didn’t disappoint in this Wrestlemania Showdown. Thank you Eddie. #LieCheatSteal #itstrue”

Kurt Angle Posts Training Pic with Ronda Rousey

In what is arguably the most high-profile match scheduled for WrestleMania, Kurt Angle & Ronda Rousey are scheduled to face Triple H & Stephanie McMahon.   The 49-year-old Kurt Angle appears to be relishing the opportunity to team with Rousey. After spending years away from WWE, he probably felt he’d never receive another opportunity like this.

Angle posted the following pic of the two training together yesterday:

To help demonstrate how dedicated he is to staying in shape, Angle also posted the following:

Angle also posted the following fan art:

Team Angle Rousey

While rumors state WWE was hoping the Rock would be Rousey’s partner, Angle works too. The Rock as Rousey’s partner would better play up the WrestleMania 31 segment they were involved in but substituting Kurt Angle for anybody is rarely much of a downgrade.

Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey have a shared Olympic history and it makes sense Angle would want to keep Triple H and Stephanie from exploiting her.

Kurt Angle Q&A: Teaming With Ronda Rousey At WrestleMania 34, Jason Jordan’s WWE Return

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle recently did a Q&A on Facebook and commented on a number of interesting topics.

During the session, a fan asked when his storyline son, Jason Jordan, would return to in-ring action. If you recall, Jordan had neck surgery several weeks ago and WWE announced that Jordan wouldn’t be able to return in time for Wrestlemania 34.

“Jason should be ok to come back shortly after Wrestlemania but I’m being very optimistic. Hopefully he will be back in the next 6-8 weeks”

Angle is slated to team up with former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey to take on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a Mixed Tag Team Match at WrestleMania 34. During the Q&A, he was asked about competing at the event and teaming with Rousey.

“I’ve wanted to perform at Wrestlemania for the past 5 years. I’m back and I’m grateful to be in a spot that I feel great about. Teaming up w Ronda and competing against HHH/Steph is one of the best spots on the card. I’m excited to show the world I still got it. I was injured at Survivor Series so I was very limited. But now I’m looking forward to WM34”

WrestleMania 34 is set to be held on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. This event airs on pay-per-view (PPV) and WWE Network. It’s the most successful and longest-running professional wrestling event in history. Both Raw and SmackDown rosters will be featured.

“I’m excited to team with Ronda. She is an exceptional competitor… dominant and smart. And HHH will go down in history as one of the greatest of all time. His resume speaks for itself. This match will NOT disappoint. Trust me”

Former Superstar Reveals Frustration Of WWE Debut With Kurt Angle

Days after criticizing Ronda Rousey’s debut on RAW with Stephanie McMahon, Triple H and Kurt Angle, Taz spoke with Chris Jericho about his own debut in WWE.  Appearing on the Talk Is Jericho podcast, Taz explained how his transition from ECW to WWE was the best and worst moment of his career.

“When I came out, when I was in Gorilla position, Bruce Prichard was in Gorilla. When Kurt Angle was out there cutting his promo I said to Bruce that I hope they know who I am,” […] “I was afraid, because I was from ECW, the ‘small, little bush leagues.’ When they heard the heartbeat of my entrance, the crowd exploded and Bruce Prichard said to me that he thinks they know who I am. When I walked through the curtain and walking slow with a towel on my head, I had an epiphany that I was doomed, because the pop was not built by this place. It hit me walking down the aisle.”

Taz was never told that his finishing move, the sleeper choke hold that closed the match, would be described as illegal.  The first he knew about this was when watching the match over and listening to commentary from Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler.  Prior to this, Taz hadn’t wanted illegal chokes to be part of his gimmick.

“When I came through the curtain after that it was like a ghost town. Vince McMahon wasn’t in Gorilla. It was a live Royal Rumble at the Garden, I thought that I had heat. If you go back and watch it, there was a German Suplex that I did to Kurt and he landed on his belly. What happened was when I grabbed Kurt, he popped up and I took him back down. I would always say to guys to let me control them. Kurt Angle, we didn’t know each other that well in the ring. Kurt is aggressive, and I knew the timing was way off. I knew that if I went through that throw he was going to get hurt, I just knew it. I put him back down and then did the throw on my pacing. From what I feel and heard that freaked out the boss and those that were close to him.”

Before WWE, Taz was FTW (F*ck The World) Heavyweight Champion in ECW, which he created himself after not being able to challenge for the official title.  Although Vince McMahon and Vince Russo talked with Taz about his character/persona, they never mentioned anything about illegal chokes.

“Everyone knows my rep […] When I first met with Vince McMahon we had this great meeting in a conference room at a hotel on a Wednesday afternoon because it was a secret since I was the top guy in ECW. It was, me, Vince McMahon and Vince Russo. We talked about money, the deal, that took literally around 10 minutes and then we talked about an hour and a half about everything else. He knew me, and the character. He saw the FTW on my wrist, but he said that he doesn’t know we can do FTW, but that was the only thing. My concern was whether or not I can be me. I don’t want to say Vince McMahon lied to me, but he had a different vision for me once I was there.”

Taz was in good company as Chris Jericho comments about his own cursed debuts which often miss the mark as described in his books.

H/T to WrestlingINC for the transcribed quotes

Opinion:

While Taz may think this was the worst part of his career, there are many who would disagree.  The illegal choke on Kurt Angle worked well against the persistent good guy persona of the Olympic Gold Medalist, and gave Taz a good gimmick within the company.

Ronda Rousey Comments On Triple H’s Sucker Punch To Kurt Angle, What Happened After RAW?, John Cena On His Undertaker WrestleMania Challenge

– On last night’s closing segment of Monday Night RAW; Ronda Rousey, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and Kurt Angle attempted to clear the air from their incident at Elimination Chamber. Angle was pressured into admitting that he lied about Triple H and Stephanie’s comments regarding Rousey. Angle apologized and Stephanie apologized to Rousey for slapping Rousey at Elimination Chamber after she put Triple H through a table.

Before Triple H and Stephanie left the ring, however, “The Game” hit Angle with a punch (that actually missed) and knocked him down. Rousey tended to Angle as RAW went off air. “The Rowdy One” took to Twitter to comment on Triple H’s sucker punch on Angle:

– The dark main event of Monday Night RAW after the show went off air on the USA Network featured John Cena and Roman Reigns teaming against RAW Tag Team Champions The Bar. Reigns and Cena won the match, however, The Bar retained the titles. There was said to be a lot of comedy and mic work during the bout.

– As we’ve noted, John Cena teased a WrestleMania match with The Undertaker this April before stating that match is “impossible.” Check out the segment via WWE’s Twitter here:

Injury Update On Jason Jordan, Paige Comments On Missing First-Ever Women’s Elimination Chamber

– As we’ve noted, WWE has announced that former RAW and SmackDown Live Tag Team Champion Jason Jordan will miss WrestleMania 34 after undergoing surgery to repair a nagging neck injury. On the Elimination Chamber Kickoff Pre-Show last night, Jordan’s storyline father and RAW General Manager Kurt Angle noted that Jordan will be ready to return after “The Show Of Shows.” Angle also stated that he believes his son will come back better than ever.

– Last night’s PPV event also featured the first-ever Women’s Elimination Chamber match. RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss successfully defended her title inside the structure against Sasha Banks, Bayley, Mickie James, Mandy Rose, and Sonya Deville. Due to her recent neck surgery former WWE Divas Champion Paige was not able to compete in the historic match.

It’s rumored that Paige’s in-ring career with WWE has come to an end due to her history of neck injuries. She took to Twitter to talk about how hard it was not to be a part of the match:

More Information On WWE’s Plans For Ronda Rousey Heading Into WrestleMania 34

On last night’s WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view (PPV) former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey made her return to WWE TV. Rousey made her WWE debut last month after the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble match. She came out to the ring to confront Rumble winner Asuka, RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss, and SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. Rousey pointed at the WrestleMania 34 sign and indicated her intentions to wrestle at the event.

After finishing up a film project she was working on in Columbia, Rousey returned to WWE TV in Las Vegas last night to sign her RAW contract. She was joined by WWE COO Triple H, RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon, and RAW General Manager Kurt Angle. Things got ugly when Rousey found out Triple H and Stephanie McMahon’s true feelings about “The Rowdy One,” thanks to some comments from Kurt Angle. Rousey ended up putting Triple H through a table and eating a slap from Stephanie. McMahon retreated from the ring before Rousey could retaliate.

For the past several months its been rumored that Rousey will be teaming with a mystery partner against the team of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 34. The Rock was originally WWE’s top pick to partner with Rousey, however, after yesterday’s segment it seems like WWE is going with Kurt Angle instead. PWInsider reports that the company is looking to book Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey vs. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon for “The Showcase Of The Immortals.”

To add to that, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio reports that WWE is attempting to book Rousey and McMahon’s feud similar to the way “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Vince McMahon’s storyline was put together – a baby face going up against a heel authoritative figure. It should be interesting to see how this plays out as we lead up to WrestleMania in April from New Orleans.

Ronda Rousey Takes Out Triple H At WWE Elimination Chamber, Signs Contract (Photos, Videos)

Ronda Rousey signed her RAW contract at tonight’s WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in a segment that also featured RAW General Manager Kurt Angle, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

Triple H confirmed during the segment that Rousey will be wrestling at WrestleMania 34. Angle ended up telling Rousey that Triple H and Stephanie have been plotting to keep her down in WWE due to how she embarrassed them at WrestleMania 31. Triple H tried to hush up Angle as he kept spilling their secrets but this backfired as Rousey slammed Triple H through the contract signing table. This led to Stephanie slapping Rousey and retreating before Rousey could get her hands on her.

As we’ve noted, the plan has been for Triple H and Stephanie to face Rousey and a partner at WrestleMania 34. Rumors on Rousey’s partner include The Rock, Angle, Seth Rollins and SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon.

Below are photos and videos from tonight’s segment:

Kurt Angle Explains Why He Thinks Finn Balor Will Win The Elimination Chamber

WWE Hall Of Famer and Monday Night RAW General Manager Kurt Angle recently participated in a live Q&A session on his official Facebook page. “The Olympic Hero” was asked about who was his most natural opponent to work with between Brock Lesnar, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, and Triple H:

“All three were different but they were all exceptional. Brock was the best chemistry. Austin was the most intense. HHH had impeccable psychology. I enjoyed all of our matches. But Brock was easier to work with because of our backgrounds.”

Angle also revealed his pick for tomorrow’s Men’s Elimination Chamber match. The winner will go on to WrestleMania 34 to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship. Angle is picking Finn Balor to walk out of the Chamber victorious:

“They’re all good enough for a title run. That’s tough. Cena needs it the least. I think Roman has proven to be the new face of WWE so I’m not sure he needs it. Braun is unbeatable so he seems to be in a good spot and doesn’t need title. Miz is the top heel and very established, so he doesn’t need title. Finn would be a good surprise.

“Elias is off to a great start, but most likely not ready for main event at WM…probably will be by next year. Seth could very well be the best on the roster. I’m a big fan of Seth. Another long title run is coming soon for him. So I’d say Finn Balor could very well rise out if this with a much NEEDED shot at the Universal Championship. My opinion only!”

He was then asked what his dream pay-per-view (PPV) would look like, and Angle said he’d like to see all Iron Man Matches:

“All Iron Man matches. 5 of them. Women’s. 205. Tag Team Championship. Intercontinental Championship. Universal Championship. All wrestling. No gimmicks. It would be long/boring after 2 or 3 matches, but if you really love wrestling, it would be incredible!”

Roman Reigns Has Respect For Seth Rollins, Kurt Angle Discusses His Relationship With Vince McMahon (Video)

Kurt Angle Q&A: If The Shield Will Reunite Again, Lessons He’s Learned, More

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle recently did a Q&A on Facebook and commented on a number of interesting topics.

During the session, a fan asked if The Shield will reunite again. If you recall, late last year, the sports entertainment company once again put Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose together as a group. However, their reunion was cut short once Ambrose, unfortunately, went down with an injury.

“The Shield has been dealing with a lot of setbacks and injuries. But they will unite again. Be patient”

Finally, the current General Manager of WWE’s flagship show, Monday Night Raw, was asked which move hurts the most to take as well as well as the lessons that he has learned from his career.

“The Last Ride. It’s like getting shot in the chest. Undertaker is 7 feet tall…when he lifts you over his head you’re 8 feet in the air. It’s a long ride down to the canvas”

“Don’t wrestle injured. Take your time, heal up, and THEN get back to it. I rushed back way too quickly in the past. I know better now. I hope the others’ will see this post also and take my advice. They will have longer careers”

AJ Styles: Ronda Rousey Could Be The Next Kurt Angle In WWE

TMZ caught up with WWE Champion AJ Styles over the weekend and asked him about Ronda Rousey joining the promotion. Styles, widely considered one of the top pro wrestlers in the world, has high expectations for Rousey inside the squared circle. Notably, he compared Rousey to Kurt Angle, who made the jump from Olympic wrestling to WWE back in 1998.

“Let me tell you about someone who came in kinda like Ronda did and learned [snaps fingers] like that,” Styles said. “Kurt Angle! I don’t know if you remember Kurt coming in like that and went straight to the top.”

Styles put over Rousey’s athletic credentials, claiming that she’ll be a quick learner who has the potential to learn pro wrestling like Angle famously did during his rookie year.

“Now he was an Olympic Champion but he didn’t have the name recognition that Ronda has. Ronda though, she’s an athlete man. She can adapt, that’s what she does. She’ll learn quick. She’ll be a sponge. She will be up there with the Kurt Angles and everyone else that has gone into the Hall of Fame.”

The Phenomenal One named Charlotte Flair, Asuka, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks as opponents he’d like to see Ronda Rousey work with You can check out Styles’ comments about Ronda Rousey joining WWE here:
