Raw Superstar Lana has been pulled from Sunday’s WWE TLC pay-per-view.
During Monday’s WWE Raw, Lana defeated Nia Jax in singles action. After the match, she was attacked by Shayna Baszler and Jax. Jax hit Lana with several leg drops on the blonde beauty, while Baszler stomped on her arm.
According to WWE storylines, Lana was taken to a “local medical facility.” Doctors ruled that she sustained extensive injuries during the attack and has been deemed unable to compete at WWE TLC.
As a result, Asuka will have to find a new tag team partner against Women’s tag team champions, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.
Lana recently posted an a video on social media explaining her need to prove herself by becoming a champion at WWE TLC:
Raw Superstar Lana has shared an impassioned, emotional promo addressing her current position in WWE. She uploaded the video to her official Twitter account and accompanied it with the caption, “I know who I am, and the odds I’m up against.”
Taking directly to the camera, Lana said doesn’t usually talk about how she views her role in WWE. She stressed how she knows who she is and what she lacks. Lana conceded that “most of the girls” are more gifted or talented than she is.
“I know that most of the girls are more gifted than me, more talented than me, and…this might come to a really big surprise to everyone, but I want to be champion,” Lana said. “And it takes a lot of courage for me to say that because I know a lot of people are like, ‘Lana wants to be champion? How delusional is she?'”
She then shared how she has big dreams and is happy to show up at TLC and “fight for my life,” acknowledging how her opponents might “snap me in half.”
She knows the danger that awaits her at WWE TLC, but that doesn’t matter to her. She has something to prove and she is hell bent on becoming a champion.
“Since I’ve begun this journey on my own, I want to fight. And I want to fight even though I might get my ass kicked because I don’t want to be defined by anyone else but myself. And that’s scary. I want to prove something. I don’t want to prove; I have to prove.”
She explained how she has to prove things to herself, her colleagues, and the fans, tearfully expressing, “I want to be good. Damn it, I want to be champion.”
Lana teams up with Raw Women’s Champion Asuka at WWE TLC. The duo faces off against Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
WWE TLC takes place on December 20, 2020. The event emanates from WWE ThunderDome’s new residence in Tropicana Field, St. Petersburg, FL.
The WWE Network released the Chronicle episode on Lana that follows the WWE star around and covers various situations.
During it, she opened up on dealing with mental health struggles this year due to a wide range of reasons. This includes the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, her husband, Rusev, being released by WWE, and more.
She noted that it’s been hard to go from being on the road 300 days a year to not going anywhere. She brought up not traveling with the same person (Rusev) that she’s been doing that with since her start in WWE and being with that person 24/7.
“For me, what was really, really hard was, usually going to arenas and people boo you, it’s something about the energy, you’re like, ‘oh, I’m in control of this,’ right? But then when all of a sudden I don’t interact with any people whatsoever and I’m just at home and I post something and everyone is just so mean.
I couldn’t handle it anymore, because that’s like my only interaction with human beings is my Instagram account or Twitter, and now everyone in comments are like, ‘you should be fired.”
This is so sad… I feel so bad for Lana like she doesn’t deserve any of that. Nobody does. pic.twitter.com/TRSL4TUqRR
She brought up people saying that she sucks and other various things.
“I remember, texting my parents and being like,’ please pray for me, my mental health is doing really bad, I’m really depressed. I just — I can’t take it anymore. I’m just… I’m so sad. Like, I don’t want to do anything.’”
She questioned everything because people will tell her mean stuff including to kill herself and more.
Lana will represent Team RAW in the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Team SmackDown.
All Elite Wrestling’s Miro has shared his feelings on how his former employer has been booking his real-life wife, Lana.
The former Rusev joined Inside The Ropes for an interview where he revealed his thoughts on the subject. When asked if his signing with AEW was the reason behind Lana being put through announce tables, Miro replied, “I don’t book their shows, I have no idea.”
Miro explained how Lana is “[…] most likely tougher than anybody else on their roster because clearly, that’s the first time in history that’s been done. And every single time, she gets the f**k up and keeps going, you know. She doesn’t say, ‘No.’ She doesn’t say, ‘I don’t want to do that.’ She doesn’t sell.”
Miro stressed how Lana will always go out to the ring, be a professional, and do her job to perfection. According to him, “[…] you can see, in that ring, when she gets that time, you can see who’s who and who’s been working, and who’s been sitting on their a***s the whole time.”
He stressed how he’s “so freaking proud” of what she’s accomplished. In Miro’s eyes, Lana has proven herself to be the most talented and underrated person in the wrestling community.
Lana has given her side to a new report that suggests she caused the final straw to break which led to a new WWE policy.
Of course, WWE wants talent to cease third party deals by October 2, which means they need to remove themselves from the likes of Cameo, Twitch, etc. WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon sent out a letter to let all talents know about this.
On Friday night, Dave Meltzer reported on the Wrestling Observer message board that “the straw that broke the camel’s back” with WWE officials was due to Lana’s Instagram brand deal with Bang Energy Drink.
In order to get two sides of the story, Lana has taken to her official Twitter account to refute the report. She tweeted out the following:
“I am not the straw that broke the camel’s back. You know who you are and that is false…but thank you for writing about me…all of you. I am your escape goat.”
There is still confusion about this new policy and whether it includes social media and YouTube.
Since the reports, CM Punk, Renee Young, and Mick Foley have commented on the memo. Also, former Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang called out WWE for the memo.
I am not the straw that broke the camel’s back. You know who you are and that is false ……. but thank you for writing about me…. all of you. I am your escape goat
Despite making a dramatic return to WWE during Lana and Bobby Lashley’s wedding, WWE reportedly had no real plans for Liv Morgan. She made her comeback during an episode of Monday Night RAW last December.
Liv Morgan’s return initially indicated she would become a major part of the soap opera-esque storyline. According to Dave Meltzer via Wrestling Observer Radio, that was never really the case. RAW Executive Director Paul Heyman allegedly booked her wedding crash as a way to pop the WWE Universe. There were allegedly no follow up plans despite the impact Morgan had on the storyline between Rusev, Lana and Bobby Lashley.
Although WWE pursued a Lana vs. Liv Morgan feud for a few weeks after her comeback, it quickly lost momentum. The original return was apparently done to simply get Morgan back onto WWE programming. It also gave her something to do rather than just returning to the ring without any fanfare or promotion.
Lana & Bobby Lashley
With Rusev having been released by WWE, his real-life wife Lana continued the storyline via social media. Lashley has previously expressed his uncertainty whether the storyline had been concluded, noting that it didn’t have a definitive ending. It is unknown whether a continuation would have included Liv Morgan.
With Rusev no longer with WWE, however, it remains to be seen whether the company decides to continue the angle. It’s worth noting that Lana has been causing Lashley some difficulties on screen recently. Most notably, her bad decision led him to lose to Aleister Black at WrestleMania 36.
Despite her real-life husband being released from WWE earlier this week, Lana has committed to the on-screen storyline between herself, Rusev, and Bobby Lashley.
Lana is still in an on-screen romance with Lashley on WWE programming. Their pairing came off the back of a soap opera-esque storyline that saw her leave Rusev for Lashley. Taking to her Twitter account, Lana shared a video of Rusev yelling at her during a past RAW segment. In it, he is blaming her for his loss to John Cena at WWE’s Payback pay-per-view in 2015.
She accompanied the video with a caption that reads, “I hate to be the person in these trying times but let this be a reminder of who @RusevBUL really is !!! #ThankYouRusev …… NEXT !!!!! #thankunext.”
At the time of writing, Rusev has not reacted to Lana’s message.
The last tweet sent out by Rusev was his farewell message to the WWE Universe. It reads, “Thank you All, Rusev out!”
Lashley has previously shared how he was uncertain whether the storyline between the trio would continue. He believed it lacked a definitive conclusion. He recently suffered a loss at WrestleMania 36 to Aleister Black. This came after taking bad advice from Lana, suggesting that the two may eventually be heading split.
WWE RAW Superstar Lana recently spoke with Sportskeeda. During the interview, Lana opened up about what RAW has been like since Paul Heyman’s induction as the show’s Executive Director.
Lana spoke highly of Heyman, sharing how he has been one of her personal favorites since she was a little girl. Heyman and Stephanie McMahon were the reason why Lana wanted to pursue becoming a WWE Superstar. She credited their compelling storytelling and how entertaining they were in helping to ignite her passion for the business. She pointed to their ability to drive the story on the mic while also being smart and compelling as characters.
“When he’s a character and when he’s on the microphone, he’s able to tell those compelling stories, and he brings that as a showrunner,” Lana explained. “I feel like he’s given so many people opportunities, who wouldn’t otherwise have opportunities. And the way he tells the story across the show, I feel like everything’s very intertwined and threaded.”
She stressed how everything with scripted television is “threaded,” especially on RAW. Lana noted how since Heyman’s creative direction, many overlooked Superstars have been given renewed opportunities.
Lana was one of those Superstars who has benefited from Heyman’s leadership. She has been a crucial part of a rivalry between Bobby Lashley and Rusev. She is still associated on-screen with Lashley, having recently cost him his WrestleMania matchup against Aleister Black.
Corey Graves says WWE television is so bad that lately it makes him physically angry. On the latest episode of WWE’s After the Bell podcast, Graves ripped in to the romantic storyline involving Rusev, Lana, Bobby Lashley and Liv Morgan. He feels the performers are giving their best effort, but fans in the arena are silent and apathetic.
Graves began this week’s podcast by stating, “last night I wasted three hours of my life enduring what was an insufferable television show. RAW was not all bad, but it left me with a really bad taste in my mouth.”
He continued, “I watch Monday Night RAW from a very different perspective now. For many years I called every minute of the action and I was kind of stuck in the ‘bubble.’ Whereas now I’m sitting on my couch in Pittsburgh, next to my girlfriend and my dog trying to enjoy Monday Night RAW as a fan. I don’t watch it to pick it apart. Obviously I watch it to talk about things here on After The Bell, because that’s what I get paid to do. But man oh man last night was tough.”
“The entire crowd was silent” – Corey Graves
Corey Graves elaborated further, saying “RAW physically made me angry. I tweeted something to the effect. What really set me off, was the Lana, Rusev and Bobby Lashley segment.”
Graves says it’s not the fault of the talent, who do their best with the material they are provided.
“This is not their fault,” said Graves. “But the shows, as a whole, have just been lacking. And this segment has really set me off. Because I noticed they went to a wide shot; in the middle of a match in this heated rivalry, that has been brewing for months and months in a small eternity. And the entire crowd was silent.”
“It was Complete Apathy”
Corey Graves then began to describe just how much of an inditement this was on the angle itself. “Nobody was moving, nobody was clapping. It was complete apathy, which in this business is the worst thing you can have. You can be cheered, you can be booed sure not everything works. But to have an entire arena full of people, not reacting to anything that was happening is a problem. That’s what piqued my attention. And then it got worse for weeks and weeks and weeks.”
Graves feels that Liv Morgan has been hurt more than she’s been helped by getting involved in this fledgling angle.
“You have been promoting Liv Morgan, and this return. Liv Morgan, who I’ve said on this show in my opinion is a star waiting to be born. She has unusual reveal in the Lana/Lashley wedding which everyone had an opinion on right, wrong or indifferent. Tell me why anyone in the WWE Universe should care about Liv Morgan now?”
It will be interesting to see how the storyline develops going forward. As as been reported recently; Vince McMahon himself has been a huge proponent of the angle. So it likely is not going away any time soon. It is also worth pointing out that the angle has been drawing huge numbers on YouTube over the last few weeks.

WWE Superstar Lana joined Reel Talker to discuss a variety of subjects. One subject they spoke about was her current storyline with Bobby Lashley, Rusev, and now Liv Morgan.
“I really am having so much fun, I feel very fortunate to be able to do what I love for a living,” Lana said. “We’re storytellers and at the end of the day, we’re telling a story that people relate to.”
She continued, “We all know someone that has broken up, we all know someone who has gotten divorced, we all know people that have fallen out of love, we’ve all known someone who has cheated. We’re storytellers and I feel like that’s my destiny in life, to tell stories. People might hate me right now but I think partly the reason people hate the Ravishing Russian is because people know someone like that…. If you don’t have an incredible villain, you don’t need an incredible hero.”
Lana and Lashley recently shared how they have been receiving hateful comments and online bullying because of the storyline. Their recent wedding ceremony was interrupted by a returning Liv Morgan, who revealed that she and Lana were previously lovers. In the wake of the revelation, Lana asked fans to not “assume someone’s sexuality.”
In the wake of an eventful wedding ceremony from Monday night, both Liv Morgan and Lana have been active on social media. Morgan has been posting photos of her and Lana together.
Liv posted the following photos of her and Lana together from 2017:
Lana and Liv Morgan evidently previously celebrated New Year’s together as well. Liv Tweeted out the following screencap of a social media post that Lana sent out from New Year’s last year.
This week’s episode of RAW featured a vignette of Liv Morgan hours before she would interrupt the wedding in the night’s final segment. Morgan’s recent vignettes have been pointing to a gimmick change or new character for her.
Morgan’s last official match in WWE was on the July 16th, 2019 episode of Smackdown. She dropped a single’s match to Charlotte Flair and then proclaimed that when she came back next, she would “be real.” Highlights of the match can be viewed in the player below:
This past Monday night on RAW saw Lana and Bobby Lashley attempt to tie the knot in Holy Matrimony. Their wedding would be unceremoniously interrupted however by a returning Liv Morgan. Upon returning, Morgan shocked the WWE Universe by revealing that she and Lana were, in fact, former lovers. It didn’t take long for things to devolve between them.
Since the revelation, Lana—who is married to WWE Superstar Rusev in real life—has commented on the unfolding situation. She took to Twitter after fans responded critically to her and Morgan being used in an LGBTQ+ storyline. Many noted how WWE had an outspoken LGBTQ+ representative in Sonya Deville but chose not to use her.
“Don’t assume someone’s sexuality,” Lana wrote. “Just because they are not outspoken in the LGTBQ community doesn’t mean that they’re not pansexual, bisexual, gay, transgender or trying to process their sexuality,” she began. “Even if they are married. For many it’s complicated. Please have compassion.”
The fallout from their wedding will take place during next week’s episode of Monday Night RAW.
Relationship Reaction To Lana And Bobby Lashley
Both Lana and Lashley have recently spoken out about the hateful messages, bullying and racist threats they have each received online for their storyline relationship. Lana described the vitriol as “mind-blowing.”
“I just want people to make a stand and say that [bullying] is wrong,” Lana said. “Just because you disagree with someone’s lifestyle doesn’t mean that you should come and be mean to them in life or on social media. Go talk to your friends about it if you are criticizing, but don’t come on my social platform and talk about it.”
Lana and Bobby Lashley took part in an eventful wedding ceremony last night on WWE RAW. Liv Morgan, Rusev, and Lana and Lashley’s first spouses made unadvertised appearances during the segment. Lana spoke with TV Insider recently about the fan response to the angle and hateful messages she has received on social media.
“It has been eye-opening to me how mean people are and what type of bullies people are in the world,” Lana said during the interview. “I can’t express enough of how mind-blowing it is. People don’t have to agree with my decisions in life, that’s fine, but if they don’t agree with me that doesn’t give them the right to come on my Instagram and call me a whore or a slut.”
Lana would continue to discuss the hateful messages she has received on social media.
“I’ve been called a prostitute on there. What are you even talking about, really? That I’m ‘ugly, fat, the worst human.’ Cyber-bullying is incredible. I knew it existed, but I never really thought it was to this extent. It’s really wrong.”
“I just want people to make a stand and say that is wrong,” Lana continued. “Just because you disagree with someone’s lifestyle doesn’t mean that you should come and be mean to them in life or on social media. Go talk to your friends about it if you are criticizing, but don’t come on my social platform and talk about it.”
Lana recently signed a new WWE contract. She addressed her relationship with the company in the interview with TV Insider.
“I’m so incredibly grateful. I love WWE so much. It has given me so many different platforms of storytelling and entertaining. Form Total Divas to dedicating my matches to being with so many different people from Tamina, Dolph Ziggler, having mixed match challenges, dance battles with Naomi. I feel like I’m living my dream.”
WWE legend and current RAW commentator Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler recently made comments regarding the Lana/Rusev and Bobby Lashley storyline on his PodcastOne show. Specifically, ‘The King’ discussed how fans online appear to ‘hate’ the weekly ‘soap’ style segments that are being produced, yet the crowds in the buildings are apparently more receptive to the angle.
“There’s gonna be a big deal, and it’s going to make the show after Christmas the biggest deal ever”
Lawler was discussing the taped show that will be airing next Monday for Christmas week, saying; “I can’t do a spoiler but something happens with Lana, Lashley and Rusev on that show,” Lawler began. “There’s gonna be a big deal, and it’s going to make the show after Christmas the biggest deal ever. You just gotta watch what happens on the Christmas show. It’s going to set up the show after Christmas. It is going to be really awesome.”
“the crowd at the Live Events…the people seem to love it” – Jerry Lawler
Jerry Lawler and his co-host then talked about the controversy that the storyline has garnered and the vitriol towards it online. “We talked about this, it is so funny [in] the live arena in Des Moines there and also at Minneapolis at the PPV; The response from the crowd is great to the Lana, Lashley and Rusev storyline. But online on Twitter and everything people seem to hate it. It gets like no respect, but the crowd at the Live Events…the people seem to love it. So I don’t get that [hate] response. I mean, I think it’s really entertaining, I really do.”
“in wrestling people would get tired of just two guys or two women going out there and having a wrestling match…” – Jerry Lawler
Jerry Lawler elaborated further, discussing the importance of storylines in professional wrestling. “Everybody’s not going to like everything you know. We always talked about this, how the fact is in wrestling people would get tired of just two guys or two women going out there and having a wrestling match [without a storyline]. If you put together nineteen wrestling matches on one night for fans to watch; if there’s not something about those matches to get the fans personally invested…what we call a personal issue. So if there’s not some sort of personal issue behind these matches nobody cares. If you really watch a match everybody does the same stuff you know. There’s the dives off the top rope. There’s the dive over the top rope…it’s all the same stuff every single match.”
Lana has responded to CM Punk in an interesting way on social media.
Punk made an appearance on WWE Backstage this past Tuesday night where he worked as an analyst. During the show, he talked about the storyline with Bobby Lashley, Rusev and Lana. This is where he noted that he thinks Rusev no longer wants to be involved with his wife on WWE television.
This led to Punk fantasy booking the feud between the three stars where Rusev and Lashley would eventually become best friends and them teaming up together to face Lana’s new tag team in a “Loser Keeps Lana” match.
The contest in Punk’s booking would take place at WrestleMania with Lana hanging above the ring in a cage. Eventually, Punk joked about how the new team that Lana would be managing would get so sick of her by WrestleMania time.
Punk would later take to his official Twitter account where he brought up the idea again and noted that he “Just booked you through mania, chica.”
Well, Lana didn’t appreciate his comments as she accused Punk of making misogynistic comments on Twitter. You can see her tweet here:
I know you’ve been away from @WWE for several years. Perhaps moving forward, you will favor #WWE and @FS1 by refraining from misogynistic comments like “chica.” Thank you. #WWEBackstagehttps://t.co/aiPzcNI83n
WWE Backstage analyst CM Punk returned to the show during last night’s episode. Joining fellow hosts Paige, Renee Young and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, Punk detailed how he would book the current storyline featuring Bobby Lashley, Lana and Rusev.
“They have a match, they have a blow-off, right? I don’t think Rusev wants to be involved with Lana anymore on-screen,” Punk said. “So, Lana and Bobby go off, they do their thing, but, eventually, y’ know what, Lana grinds on the nerves. Bobby is sick of her. So what they do is, he leaves Lana too, they have another divorce, okay? They’re out. She gets another tag team to go after Rusev and Bobby, who have become best friends because they have the familiar: the ex-wife.”
He continued, “They become drinking buddies. This new tag team with Lana in tow go after them, and what they do at WrestleMania…they put Lana in a shark cage, okay, because by WrestleMania the new tag team is already so sick of Lana that the loser of the match gets what’s in the shark cage.”
Punk added that WWE could continue this story past WrestleMania if they wanted to. He noted how he has ideas for Lana, especially for when WWE returns for another show in Saudi Arabia.
After he provided his fantasy booking on-air, Punk took to Twitter to share his suggestion: “Loser keeps @LanaWWE match. Just booked you through mania, chica. You’re welcome. @RusevBUL #WWEBackstage”
This past Monday night on RAW, Rusev and Lana took part in a divorce segment on the show. Rusev ended up putting Lashley through a table, setting up a Tables match between the two of them at this Sunday’s TLC pay-per-view.

While they are not very likely to be wrestling at the
upcoming Crown Jewel event, a few female stars of the WWE roster are atleast
traveling to Saudi Arabia.
Lana, Natalya and Lacey Evans were recently spotted at
airport with other crew members who are traveling to the country for the
upcoming event from Riyadh.
The Saudi Arabian shows have generally been criticized by fans for not including female performers on the events due to the cultural restrictions of the Middle Eastern country.
There were rumors that the company is trying to get a match between Alexa Bliss and Natalya approved for the Super Showdown event earlier this year and the officials had flown the two in for the same.
However, they didn’t manage to get approval for a match between these two and the female wrestlers ended up making appearances at hospitals and schools instead.
It’s unknown what the three female stars who have traveled to the country this week will be doing there, but it’s likely that they will be making community appearances similar to what Natalya and Bliss did earlier this year.
The Crown Jewel event is currently scheduled to feature 8 matches in total. You can check out the match card and the latest betting odds for the show at this link.
Bobby Lashley has made his return to WWE television and he wasn’t alone but rather has been paired with Lana.
The return happened on Monday Night RAW in Phoenix, Arizona at the Talking Stick Resort Arena on the USA Network when a limo was seen pulling up.
WWE went to commercial break before starting WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins vs. Rusev for the Universal Title.
This led to Lashley walking out on the stage and waited until Lana joined him. The two started kissing as Rusev watched on in shock from inside the squared circle.
It appears that Lashley and Lana will be paired together and go into a program with Rusev going forward. The show closed with Bray Wyatt going after Rollins.
Lashley was last seen in action when he worked a 10-man battle royal back on the July 15th episode of Monday Night RAW.
Last month it was revealed that he underwent surgery that had placed him on the sidelines. The reason for the surgery was to get bone spurs removed from the elbow.
At the time, the belief was that he would likely be out of action until early November. Obviously, his return came earlier than expected.
It’s becoming increasingly apparent that a high majority of WWE’s roster on both RAW and SmackDown are unhappy and disgruntled with their position and the current WWE product. Even Triple H has allegedly been frustrated with the promotion’s booking.
According to Rusev, as many as 99.9% of the current roster feel overlooked.
Speaking with Express UK, both Rusev and Lana spoke about their current place within the company. Lana highlighted that she believes Rusev is well deserving of more championship opportunities, saying “Rusev should get more title opportunities. He should be champion, that’s just the bottom line. He’s been there six years and he’s had one title opportunity, I had three. I’m not the Super Athlete, my first Singles Match was for the title.
She claimed that there is “no question” if Rusev should be champion. “That’s just a given, it’s true, we all know that he’s the best and #1.”
“The Most Hyed Thing Doesn’t Make You A Champion”
Rusev would then make his bold claim, stating that practically the entirety of the locker room feels ignored and overlooked.
“It’s not just us, 99.9 per cent of the roster feels overlooked because we’re all so good and we’re all so passionate,” he said. “Everybody wants to be a champion and everybody can be a champion because we’re that good.”
“It’s just that there’s only so many titles,” he explained. “You gotta find what sticks out, you gotta be different. It doesn’t matter if [we hear] Rusev Day or Lana Day chants or whatever it is, the most hyped thing doesn’t make you a champion.”
He said that there are “so many moving parts to become a champion,” admitting that “it’s beyond my head” before adding, “”Only Vince McMahon knows these things.”
Lana has been attempting to make a name for herself with a series of YouTube videos demonstrating how “salty” she is about being ignored and not being booked for shows.
The Queen of Salt, Lana, is still disgruntled with her position within WWE. In recent weeks, the SmackDown Live Superstar has been uploading videos to her personal YouTube channel. In these videos she candidly admits she is “salty” over her booking with the company. She usually does so whilst pouring copious amounts of salt everywhere.
Despite appearing at recent WWE Live Events accompanying Rusev, WWE hasn’t had much for the duo on the SmackDown Live for the past few weeks. This fact is probably a major contributing factor as to why she continues to do anything and everything within her power to try and grab management’s attention. Social media, YouTube, fan engagement, Lana is doing it all to try and bolster herself in WWE’s eyes.
In a recent post to Twitter, “The Ravishing Russian” uploaded a risqué, not particularly PG, video of her. She accompanied it with a bold claim, stating:
“#SDLIVE call me when you want ratings….. because no one will make #SDLIVE, #RAW or #MITB ladder match #RAVISHING like I can”
Lana hasn’t featured in an in-ring capacity since the Women’s Battle Royal during WrestleMania 36. She has also not been booked to participate in the Women’s Money In The Bank ladder match at the promotion’s upcoming PPV on Sunday, May 19th.
Lana and Rusev took part in a recent episode of Drop The Mic that aired Wednesday night on TNT where they battled billionaire, Mark Cuban.
Cuban, who is known for appearing on Shark Tank that is a widely popular show that airs on ABC as well as being the owner of the NBA team Dallas Mavericks, is a big wrestling fan. He’s appeared on WWE’s flagship show, Monday Night Raw, a few times in the past. His first appearance taking place in 2003 with a segment involving Eric Bischoff, who was the General Manager at the time.
Cuban then appeared on the show again in 2009 where he was a special guest referee in a match between Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton during their feud. He also appeared in a segment with John Cena and Sheamus, that saw him get physical with the “Celtic Warrior.” It led to the former WWE Champion putting Cuban through a table.
Lana took to her official Twitter account to talk about the appearance on the television show, which you can see here:
Working out in the gym and seeing myself on @DropTheMicTNT on tv rapping with my husband ! WILD ! Definitely surpassing my craziest dreams as a little girl! Shoot for the stars & at the very least you will get the moon. The sky is truly the limit for our dreams !
Y’all might be #Salty at my rapping skills & I can’t say I don’t blame you. 😂 But brave & #salty enough to do it for the FIRST TIME ever on national TV ! Now on @DropTheMicTNT
Earlier this week, Lana was in Los Angeles take part in two photoshoots. One of these shoots included taking a few shots in the middle of heavy traffic. Lana’s most recent IG Story showed “The Ravishing Russian” posing for the shots.
Incidentally, one of the drivers who was queueing in the traffic is actually a big television star in her own right. Stephanie Beatriz, who plays Rosa Diaz on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, stated that she was not happy with being an unintended part of the WWE Superstar’s photoshoot. Beatriz recently posted an IG Story showing video of Lana’s shoot. The caption on the video read “Like. I just want to drive and not be in your photo shoot.”
You can check out the video via the tweet below. Quite hilariously Lana appears to smile at Beatriz’s camera after getting the shot. Maybe there’s a chance that Lana thought was a fan?
Do you think that Lana and Rusev are trying to get out of their WWE contracts? Let us know in the comments
Lana is back with another YouTube video, and she’s just as salty as ever.
Taking to her personal YouTube channel, she would once again share her unhappiness and disgruntlement with her current position with the company — with the assistance of a prop salt shaker, just to really hammer the point home.
“I Don’t Need The McMahon Family To Make Announcements For Myself”
Wanting to address the “elephant in the room,” Lana would confirm she is still injured, indicating at her foot. She then turned to the unjust nature of Mandy Rose inserting herself into a matchup with Asuka at Fastlane.
“Now, to my understanding, there was an announcement made on RAW saying only the McMahon Family could make title matches. Only the McMahon Family – Shane McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Vince McMahon, Triple H because he’s a part of the McMahon Family — can make official title matches that are on RAW or SmackDown or pay-per-views. So, how is Mandy making a declaration that she has a title match at Fastlane versus Asuka?”
She stated that she is salty that she was “so dumb and stupid not to pick up that I could declare, I don’t need to just wait for the McMahon Family to make announcements for myself, to declare that I’m going to have title matches.”
Lana then shared what she described as “breaking news,” saying that she is “declaring that I am going to face Asuka at WrestleMania for the Women’s SmackDown Live title.”
Doubling down, she would continue, “I’m declaring, I’m grabbing the brass ring. Yes, I am. Right now, from YouTube. I’m grabbing the brass ring. And all the people that are getting all mad, all this and that, you’re salty, too.”
Utilizing YouTube to try and engage with a fanbase isn’t new — just look at what Zack Ryder achieved for a short while years ago. But it’s an interesting attempt on Lana’s part to try and stay on the WWE Universe’s radar whilst injured. Whether WWE management feels the same way is a different discussion entirely.

Aleister Black and Lana had a contentious exchange on social media that involved them criticizing each others’ appearance and Black shutting down a fan who tried to call him out for body shaming.
Tonight on SmackDown Live, Aleister Black teams up with Ricochet and the Hardy Boyz against Rusev, Shinsuke Nakamura and The Bar. Matt Hardy hyped the contest on Twitter by saying he, Jeff, Ricochet and Black were a “Dream Team Xtreme.”
Lana took exception with that claim by running down the babyface team of misfits. She joked that it’s hard to get excited about the Hardys returning for the 17,000th. She also said Ricochet just “flips around the ring with no emotion.”
Lana got the most personal with Aleister Black. She accuses him of tattooing his body extensively because he was so “ordinary” and insecure.
A dream team?We have Aleister who is so ordinary & insecure he had to tattoo his entire body to fit in with the misfits. Ricochet who just flips all over the ring with no emotion like the cirque du soleil & then we have the legends…THE HARDY’s returning for the 17000th time!YAY https://t.co/exgTDj4B8p
Black rightfully shot back at Lana for calling out the modifications he’s made to his body. He implied she is a hypocrite for calling him out for getting tattoos when she appears to have ‘enhanced’ herself in various ways over the years.
SmackDown Live star Lana is selling worn WWE attire online. The items can be found at PoshMark.com., and is called “Cj Pperry’s Closet”. Currently, Lana has 52 items up for sale, with prices ranging from $100 to $2,000. Some of the attire includes Lana’s WrestleMania 30 outfit, her WrestleMania 32 photoshoot outfit, some of her wrestling gear, and some worn Rusev Day shirts.
Lana has also autographed some of the items. According to the site, Lana has been selling these items since December of last year.
