  • Huge WWE Executive Pay Breakdown: Vince, Stephanie, HHH Earnings Revealed

The following is a breakdown of WWE executive pay. Senior management within the company currently consists of Vince McMahon (CEO), George Barrios (CFO & Chief Strategy Officer), Michelle Wilson (Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Marketing Officer), Stephanie McMahon (Chief Branding Officer), Paul Levesque (Executive Vice President, Talent, Live Events and Creative), Kevin Dunn (Executive Producer), Casey Collins (Executive Vice President of Consumer Products), Michael Luisi (President, WWE Studios), Gerret Meier (Executive Vice President, International), Laura Brevetti (Senior Vice President, General Counsel) and Basil DeVito Jr. (Senior Advisor, Business Strategy).

The current base salaries are Vince McMahon at $1,184,500, George Barrios at $700,000, Triple H at $550,000 (as well as a $1 million per year contract as a talent), Kevin Dunn at $700,000 and Michael Luisi at $600,000.

Actual total compensation, which includes stock grants, for the top WWE executives in 2013 saw Vince McMahon end up with $1,724,958 (McMahon doesn’t receive additional stock grants since he owns so much company stock to begin with). In 2012, McMahon’s earnings were $2,456,359, and in 2011 were $1,111,395. The difference in 2011 was mainly because McMahon earned no additional compensation from profit incentives in 2011. The profit levels needed for incentives to begin for senior management lowered in 2012, so he ended up earning an additional $1.3 million that way.

Also in 2013, Barrios earned $1,378,197. Triple H earned $2,511,331 in 2013. His actual earnings as a talent between match payoffs, as well as merchandise and licensing money was $1,868,639. In 2012, HHH made $2,912,231, which was $488,482 in executive salary, $305,000 in profit sharing incentive bonuses and $2,118,769 as a talent. In 2011, Triple H earned $336,538 as an executive, $74,100 in stock grants and $2,074,042 as a talent, for a total of $2,484,680 for the year.

In 2013, Dunn earned $1,744,184. Luisi earned $1,403,228. Stephanie McMahon earned $778,394 in 2013, $325,000 of which was as a television talent.

As far as WWE stock goes, Vince McMahon is obviously the top earner, with 39,272,641 shares, which has a current value of approximately $1.21 billion. Linda McMahon, who has 9,066,770 shares, which is currently valued at $280.2 million. Stephanie McMahon has 2,511,071, so despite her selling off so much stock last year, with the recent stock increase, she’s still worth about $77.6 million in stock alone. Triple H owns 50,764 shares, which is currently valued at $1.57 million.

Jesse Ventura Talks About Running For President In 2016, Linda McMahon’s Costly Senate Runs

JESSE VENTURA SPEAKS OUT ON LINDA MCMAHON’S COSTLY SENATE RUN, WHAT WRESTLING PERSONALITY WOULD HAVE MADE THE BEST POLITICIAN, WHETHER HE’LL RUN FOR PRESIDENT IN 2016, AND MORE

    By WeWantInsanity.com

He’s the most talked about guest in ClubWWI.com history. Now, Jesse “The Body” Ventura returns to the Club for his third (and most explosive) interview yet. Jesse speaks to James Guttman for 35 minutes (100 total in all three interviews) about everything including how Vince McMahon Jr. would fair in politics, why President Obama hasn’t closed Gitmo, his own experience with IRS audits, death threats for joining WWF in the 1980s, getting wrestlers over on commentary, and tons more.

The full audio is available at ClubWWI.com. Catch a free clip and read the full list of topics at WeWantInsanity.com.

You can also pick up Jesse’s paperback copy of “DemoCRIPS and ReBLOODlicans: No More Gangs in Government” at Amazon.com.

Jesse Ventura’s last appearance on ClubWWI.com was back in 2010 and before WWE’s Linda McMahon ran (and lost) twice for the U.S. Senate. Linda’s campaign famously spent just short of 100 million dollars in her bid. James Guttman asks Jesse about this. Did Linda’s tie-in with wrestling hurt her chances? Ventura’s not sure, but he knows a better way that money could have been spent.

“I don’t know, but I’ll tell you this. If Vince would have given me that kind of money, I’d be the President. How’s that for a quote?”

James laughs and says, “That’s going right in the headline now.”

    Ventura, through laughter, continues:

“When I ran for governor, I only raised $300,000. And that’s a statewide race, like the senate. I only raised $300,000. I made more money doing the job. The job of governor paid $120,000 a year. So I made $480,000 for the four years and I only spent $300,000 to get the job. If I would have had that money, I’d be the President. You give me that much money to spend on an election and I’ll be President. (laughs) I think that answers your question in a very humorous, funny Jesse “The Body” Ventura type of way.”

Jesse is well known for avoiding special interest groups and money from lobbyists. His new paperback book, “”DemoCRIPS and ReBLOODlicans: No More Gangs in Government”, covers how the same lobbyists appear at both conventions. Ventura has stood up to this new status-quo for years and it’s brought him heat from all angles. However, it’s no different than his wrestling run. In wrestling, like politics, true “straight shooters” are hard to find. JG asks Jesse who, out of all the people he’s met in the wrestling industry, would have made the best politician. Jesse barely needs a moment to think as he reveals his answer to ClubWWI listeners:

“Without a doubt, the best and smoothest would be Vince McMahon Sr., not Junior. Vince McMahon Sr. was the coolest, smoothest operator out of all the promoters I ever met – out of anybody in that whole business. You could be madder than a hornet and you’d go in and meet with him, you’d walk out feeling great but accomplish nothing. You’d feel good about yourself. Yet, he didn’t give you a thing. I won’t go into any specifics more than that. I think that describes Vince McMahon Sr. and I think it describes him in a very positive way. That’s how good he was.”

Although all of Jesse’s appearances on ClubWWI.com have been momentous, this one might be the biggest. Recently, it was implied that Ventura might run for President in 2016. James Guttman likes that idea and presented the question to him like this:

“This country loves firsts. John F. Kennedy was the first catholic president. Barack Obama was the first African-American president. Personally, I’m waiting for the first former AWA World Tag Team Champion president. Now it could be Doug Somers, could be Marty Jannetty. But, I’d like it to be you. Governor Jesse Ventura, will that day come in my lifetime?”

Again, The Body tells it like it is:

“If there’s a grassroots movement to get me ballot access in all 50 states and if they can somehow guarantee – either they protest their brains out to make sure – I’m included in debates. Because you have to be able to debate, I would give it serious consideration. But I’m not going to spend money to get ballot access. It would have to be grassroots effort by people in every state. I need to know that. Because the thing I find most despicable about public service is the obscene money and the sellout and bribery. Jesse Ventura will not sell out to the bribery of special interests. I never took a dime of special interest money when I was governor and I never once, in four years as governor, met with a lobbyist. And I will keep that integrity. So that will require the American people to have to jump through a lot of hoops to get me to do it. Plus, it would mean I would have to leave Mexico and it will require that amount of work from you all to ever even get me to entertain the thought.”

Remember, Jesse Ventura is one of over 300 guests you can hear the moment you join ClubWWI.com. From Jerry Lawler to Dennis Stamp, everyone is there in our 7 year archives. Join the Insanity today and hear all you’ve been missing!

Upcoming Divas Feud, Linda’s Senate Campaign’s Desperate Final Days

    – Linda McMahon’s US Senate campaign got ugly towards the end, with other Republicans distancing themselves from her in the days leading up to election day. Connecticut’s Hearst Newspaper broke a story about the McMahon campaign printing up fliers before the election that stated her opponent, Chris Murphy, was to blame for the extended power outages after Hurricane Sandy.

They also stated that Murphy received campaign contributions from individuals and companies affiliated with the major utility companies. Linda’s fellows Republicans who were asked to hand out the fliers refused to do so.

    – As noted yesterday, WWE is looking to bring up a few new Divas from developmental due to the very thin women’s roster. While the women’s division is built back up, WWE will be feuding AJ Lee with Eve Torres in the coming months.

“Rowdy” Roddy Piper Slams Linda McMahon For Spending $90 Million To Lose Two U.S. Senate Elections

Linda McMahon, former president and CEO of WWE, failed in her bid for a Senate seat in Connecticut, losing to Democratic Rep. Chris Murphy on Tuesday. This follows her 2010 loss to Richard Blumenthal in the race for the state’s other seat in the Senate.

The total cost of losing two elections has ranged from $90 to $97 million, according to estimates. McMahon spent $50 million of her personal fortune in her failed 2010 campaign, and is believed to have spent $40 to $47 million the second time around. Between both campaigns, McMahon has now spent a cumulative total of over $90 million in pursuit of federal office. That is more than any other American in history.

WWE Hall of Famer “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, who worked under the employ of McMahon, criticized her exorbitant spending on two failed Senate campaigns in a series of Twitter messages Wednesday. After asking his followers whether McMahon won her race, he wrote, “Can spend 90 million on a losing election but won’t give the people that earned that money for them medical or retirement help of any kind!”

Piper then re-tweeted a message comparing her failed Senate campaigns to another McMahon family outside-the-ring venture that went bust; the World Bodybuilding Federation: “It’s like the WBF all over again; money spent on alternate endeavors earned from the blood & sweat of the boys.”

Continuing to stick up for “the boys,” while also corroborating a rumor that mid-level WWE talent had to cover their hotel and travel expenses during WrestleMania XXVIII week in Miami, Florida despite the sports-entertainment organization generating a record-breaking $102.7 million in economic impact for Miami-Dade County, he also re-tweeted, “They can spend 90 mill on elections but still make midcarders pay their and their family own way for wrestlemania. crazy.”

Video of Linda McMahon’s Concesson Speech

As noted earlier, Democratic Rep. Chris Murphy defeated Republican Linda McMahon in Connecticut’s U.S. Senate race. The Associated Press called the race for Murphy just 30 minutes after the polls closed, as he was leading 54% to 45%.

The former WWE CEO spent $50 million of her personal fortune in her failed 2010 campaign against Richard Blumenthal, and she is believed to have spent about as much against Murphy.

Between both campaigns, McMahon has now spent over $90 million in pursuit of federal office, more than any American in history.

McMahon has announced that she will not run for office in 2014.

Here is a video of her conceding after losing to Chris Murphy:

WWE Modifies The Spelling Of “Fandangoo”, NBA Reporter Pokes Fun At Linda McMahon’s U.S. Senate Loss

    – As seen during Monday’s Raw broadcast, WWE aired a vignette teasing the debut of a new Superstar called “Fandangoo.” During tonight’s SuperSmackDown LIVE broadcast on Syfy, WWE aired a similar vignette, but with the spelling of the character’s name modified to “Fandango.” It is a term that originally described a style of folk and flamenco music and dance.

Here is the vignette, which also features a song different from the one used in the first video.

    – In light of former WWE CEO Linda McMahon’s loss tonight to Democratic Rep. Chris Murphy in Connecticut’s U.S. Senate race, David Aldridge, a sports reporter for Turner Sports (most notably, the NBA), took the opportunity to poke fun at her defeat with a wrestling reference.

He tweeted, “The Senate election in Connecticut is not over,” said state director of voting Earl Hebner. #Montreal.”

Linda McMahon Smacked Down Again On Election Day – Loses Connecticut Senate Race To Chris Murphy

Democratic Rep. Chris Murphy is the projected winner against Linda McMahon in Connecticut’s U.S. Senate race, according to The Associated Press and NBC News.

The Associated Press called the race for Murphy just 30 minutes after the polls closed, as he was leading 54% to 45%.

The former WWE CEO spent $50 million of her personal fortune in her failed 2010 campaign against Richard Blumenthal, and is believed to have spent $42 million against Murphy. Between both campaigns, McMahon has now spent a cumulative total of over $90 million in pursuit of federal office. That is more than any other American in history.

An article on McMahon’s loss is available here.
