Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez are the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions after winning the gold in the main event of the February 24, edition of WWE Monday Night Raw. The finish of the match saw Raquel prevent Naomi from hitting the split legged moonsault and then ram Naomi head into the post. With Naomi out cold, Morgan got the pinfall to end the reign of the Glow and Bianca Belair.

Belair and Naomi had been recognized as tag team champions since November 2024. Belair had held the gold since August’s Bash In Berlin PLE, where she won the gold since Jade Cargill. After Cargill was taken out by a mystery assailant, Naomi replaced her in the tag team.

This loss raises questions as to how Cargill will respond once she’s back, as she has lost a title in WWE without even being a part of the match. Many fans predict that either Belair or Naomi were behind the attack, an act that would turn either woman heel. Both have accused Liv and Raquel of being the attackers, though they have denied the claim.

This victory makes Liv Morgan a record-tying four-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, while Raquel Rodriguez is now a three-time champion. As a team, this is the third reign for the Judgment Day members.

During a recent appearance on the No-Contest Wrestling Podcast, the multi-time Women’s world champion explained how her years in WWE have made her early transition to acting surprisingly smooth.

“When I got on set, it felt like I was doing a WWE backstage,” Morgan shared. “It dawned on me how much practice we get in WWE.”

Morgan, who played herself in Chucky and met Uma Thurman while filming The Kill Room, credits WWE for preparing her for the acting world.

“We only get one take in WWE, so we have to be on point,” she explained.

With reports of Flair vs. Tiffany Stratton circulating, it’s expected that the Women’s Elimination Chamber winner will face Rhea Ripley this April in Las Vegas.

Next month will mark Morgan sixth appearance in the Elimination Chamber, extending her record for the most times competing in the match. Though Morgan has three eliminations to her name, she’s yet to win the contest, and hopes to change that on March 1, and earn a WrestleMania title match in the process.

With the 2025 Royal Rumble PLE in the history books, attention now turns to the Elimination Chamber PLE, set to take place on March 1 in Canada. During this week’s Raw, several Superstars earned a spot in the Chamber, getting them one step closer to a championship opportunity at WrestleMania 41.

WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan recently appeared on Entertainment Tonight, where she offered fans a glimpse into her life outside the ring, including a tour of her Florida farm. Morgan revealed that she owns seven-and-a-quarter acres of land, home to a variety of animals: five chickens, two cows, a pig, two cats, and two dogs.

When asked about her love for animals, Morgan expressed her lifelong compassion for them, noting that maintaining her farm is both fulfilling and enjoyable. “I’ve always loved animals,” Morgan shared. “Having this farm allows me to connect with them in a meaningful way.”

The tour also included a peek inside her home, where Morgan showcased her closet and her private wrestling ring. The ring is a unique feature that highlights her dedication to her craft, even in her personal space.

2025 is upon us and for many, this is a time to set resolutions and goals for the new year. With 12 months ahead, the Superstars of WWE have revealed what goals they have in mind, both in and out of the ring, for the new year.

Liv Morgan, fresh off a stellar 2024, has set her sights high. The Judgment Day star plans to solidify her legacy as “the greatest Women’s World Champion of all time” and aims to capture the Women’s Tag Team Titles alongside Raquel Rodriguez. On a personal note, Morgan shared her intention to “flourish my perfect relationship with Daddy Dom.”

CM Punk is determined to prove why he’s known as the “Best in the World” by winning the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble and securing “all the titles.” Outside the ring, Punk promises to ensure The New Day continues using the janitor’s closet as their dressing room. He also declared his intent to shave Dominik Mysterio’s mustache.

Dominik Mysterio has a different kind of aspiration: to be less “misunderstood and hated.” According to Mysterio, he sees himself as a “cool guy,” and hopes 2025 will be the year fans start to agree.

For The New Day, 2025 represents a chance to reclaim their glory as champions and plan on holding gold once more now they’ve ditched Big E. The group hasn’t held tag titles since April 2021 and looks to end that drought in the coming months.

Kevin Owens‘ 2025 goal is to remind fans that he is the “true, rightful WWE Champion.” Owens plans to hold onto the title for the next decade and will have the chance to prove he’s worthy to be champion at next month’s Royal Rumble.

The Superstars of WWE shined during the Christmas Day NFL games on Netflix, ahead of WWE Raw’s move to the streaming juggernaut next month. On X, Liv Morgan shared that she was having a great time watching the Baltimore Ravens face the Houston Texans.

CM Punk was dressed to impress at NFL On Netflix. The Best in the World’s first WWE TV match in over a decade will see him face Seth Rollins on the January 6, 2025, Raw debut on Netflix.

Punk also appeared on the panel for the Kansas City Chiefs Vs. Pittsburgh Steelers, two teams that are outperforming Punk’s beloved Chicago Bears.

Netflix Taps John Cena as Santa for NFL Christmas Broadcast

Liv Morgan was said to be ok following her Saturday Night’s Main Event title defense.

The Women’s World Champion defended her championship against IYO SKY at the show. Both Dominik Mysterio and Raquel Rodriguez were at Liv’s side.

The ending of the bout saw SKY hit a running Meteora and she then climbed up the top rope. Morgan, however, countered with a Moonsault of her own and pinned her challenger with an Oblivion.

While Liv successfully retained the title, fans were concerned about the current Champion’s health coming out of the bout. A video of SKY hitting a rough-looking knee to Morgan that went viral made many believe that she might have suffered a broken nose during the match.

PWInsider is reporting, however, that this wasn’t the case. The Judgment Day star somehow managed to avoid any injury and she was said to be ok after the bout.

Rhea Ripley came out to confront Morgan on the ramp as the women’s champion was making her way back. This suggests that we’ve not seen the last of this rivalry and the two female stars will meet again down the road.

Apart from this, Saturday Night’s Main Event featured matches such as Drew McIntyre vs. Sami Zayn and the finals of the US Women’s Title tournament.

Liv Morgan is ready to do whatever she can to bring WrestleMania to London.

The Women’s World Champion recently spoke to Mirror to promote WWE’s upcoming UK tour during the road to WrestleMania 41. She discussed things such as having to take time off earlier this year due to a shoulder injury and how the hiatus helped her career.

With the company having increased its international presence in recent years and selling out stadiums outside of the US, the topic of more prominent PPVs emanating from outside of the country is discussed more and more.

One such possibility that has been brought up many times in recent months is WrestleMania coming to London. Morgan also commented on the possibility during the interview and said that it would be huge:

“I think WrestleMania in London would be huge. I think that would be bananas, nuts, crazy. I think it’s going to be the most high energy WrestleMania ever. And I know we’d all love to feed off of that crazy, chaotic, amazing energy that fans would give us.”

Liv Morgan explained that she is all for the Show of Shows coming to the prestigious city and claimed that she is ready to do anything she can to make it happen:

The card for Saturday Night’s Main Event continued to grow during this week’s episode of Raw, with two huge title matches announced for the show. In our first match of Raw, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez defeated Damage CTRL’s IYO SKY and Kairi Sane. After the match, Rhea Ripley arrived and attacked Rodriguez, but officials quick came out to break up this post-match brawl.

It was confirmed during Raw that IYO SKY will face Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event next week. SKY won a Battle Royal last month to earn the coveted title shot against the Judgment Day member.

Raw also saw Finn Balor questioned about attacking Damian Priest at Survivor Series: WarGames, and Finn said he’d take care of Priest since Dominik Mysterio couldn’t. Later in the night, GUNTHER defeated Mysterio, only to be attacked by Balor after the match, with Finn telling Mysterio to watch how things are done.

Backstage, Finn Balor asks Adam Pearce for his title match against Gunther. The Raw General Manager told Balor that they’ll face each other at Saturday Night’s Main Event with the title on the line.

Saturday Night’s Main Event 2024

The 37th Saturday Night’s Main Event will take place on December 14, 2024, from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. The show will be WWE’s first SNME televised event since July 2008.

Liv Morgan’s streak of Royal Rumble appearances will end in 2025. WWE’s upcoming Royal Rumble Premium Live Event is set for Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Morgan, the current WWE Women’s World Champion, has competed in six consecutive Royal Rumble matches, with her participation dating back to 2018. However, if she remains the top women’s champion on the Raw brand through February, she will be exempt from entering the bout. Although she may still have a match on the card, it would not be in the Royal Rumble match, which determines a contender for WrestleMania 41 who might choose to challenge her.

Appearing on The Pat McAfee Show today, Morgan shared her thoughts on potentially missing her first Royal Rumble. “I’m not going to enter the Royal Rumble this year because I’m going to walk in as the Women’s World Champion,” Morgan explained. “I’ve been in every single one, too. So, I’m actually going to miss this one.”

Morgan continued, reflecting on her participation over the years and suggesting that she might not be the most strategic choice for a WrestleMania challenger. “If they choose me. I don’t think they would [choose me] because it’s not very smart to choose me. Have you been watching, Pat? Raquel, Judgment Day, Daddy Dom… I don’t know who’s going to want to take their chance against me.”

Liv Morgan continues to work on establishing a career for herself in the entertainment industry.

WWE Women’s World Champion fulfilled a lifelong dream by getting killed on screen by Chucky on defunct USA Network series of the same name in 2022. She next made her film debut, sharing the screen with Morgan Freedman in 2023’s The Kill Room in 2023.

Liv Morgan is closing in on the greatest year in WWE history if she and Raquel Rodriguez can capture the Women’s Tag Team Titles. Speaking to TMZ Sports, Morgan was asked if the only thing keeping 2024 from being the greatest year of her career is winning tag-team gold.

“For sure, for sure, 100% and that’s exactly what I’m going to do.”

On this week’s WWE Raw from Riyadh, Morgan and Raquel came face-to-face with Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. A challenge for a title match was made and Morgan is immensely confident in her chances of becoming a double champion.

“If you think I’m annoying now, if you think you hate hearing me laugh and the sound of my voice now, then wooo. Let me tell you, I’m never, ever, ever gonna shut up.”

Later on Raw, Morgan and Rodriguez interfered in a battle royal to determine Liv’s next challenger and eliminated Belair and Cargill. In the interview, the 30-year-old Superstar isn’t surprised she’s run afoul of the EST and the Storm.

“Everyone wants a piece of Liv Morgan. Lucky enough, there’s enough of me to go around. And lucky enough for me, I have the most dominant group in WWE watching my back, the Judgement Day, and I also have Raquel Rodriguez.”

Should Morgan win the tag titles with Rodriguez, she’ll become the fourth double-champion in WWE’s history of women, behind Asuka, Sasha Banks, and Bayley. Morgan is already a two-time Tag Team Champion with 55 days with the gold to her name.

After making it to the final two of the Women’s Royal Rumble match, Morgan won the Women’s World Title in June at King And Queen of the Ring. Morgan’s ‘Revenge Tour’ has also seen her take the Judgment Day and Dominik Mysterio from Rhea Ripley and win the Crown Jewel Women’s Title earlier this month.

In a recent appearance on Logan Paul’s podcast, Impaulsive, WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan opened up about the December 2023 arrest that led to her now-infamous mugshot going viral online.

Morgan explained the circumstances that led to her arrest, clarifying details around the incident and reflecting on the effects of her viral mugshot.

The Circumstances Behind Liv Morgan’s December 2023 Arrest

According to Morgan, the arrest stemmed from a misunderstanding. She was stopped by authorities and subsequently detained for drug possession. As Morgan revealed on Impaulsive, “There were some things in my car that I was unaware of, and one of those things was a felony.”

Despite the initial charges, Morgan noted that they were later dropped, which allowed her to move forward. She took full accountability, however, acknowledging the impact this had on her career and reputation.

Morgan’s mugshot quickly spread across the internet after her arrest, and she admitted feeling shocked by its rapid circulation. She mentioned that even the officer taking the photo commented on its potential to go viral.

This image, along with footage from the traffic stop, sparked a wave of public interest, adding to her distress over the incident. Morgan shared that while the experience was difficult, she felt it was necessary to take responsibility and remain professional, continuing her wrestling commitments without letting this event overshadow her career.

At WWE Crown Jewel, Cody Rhodes and Liv Morgan made history as the inaugural winners of the Men’s and Women’s Crown Jewel Championships. While the titles will remain at the WWE Experience in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the two champions have now been presented with their official championship rings.

It was at the Crown Jewel kick-off event on November 1, that WWE CCO Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque shared that the winners of the Crown Jewel title matches would receive rings. These rings will be gifted each year to the winner of the Crown Jewel title matches, allowing for Superstars to win multiple rings over the years.

The Game described these rings as akin to Superbowl rings, and like the Crown Jewel titles, is emblazoned with jewels.

The Crown Jewel Championship Rings is a brand-new kind of accolade in WWE though it isn’t the first ring of its kind in wrestling. In AEW, MJF has repeatedly won the Dynamite Diamond Ring, which he has used in matches. It remains to be seen if Rhodes or Morgan add more rings to their collection in the coming years, but the pair will go down in the history books as the first-ever Crown Jewel Champions.

WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan will etch her name in the history books after becoming the very first WWE Crown Jewel Champion.

Morgan defeated Women’s Champion Nia Jax at WWE Crown Jewel 2024 to win the title that was introduced last month at WWE Bad Blood by Paul Levesque. Along with the title, Morgan will receive a championship ring that Levesque revealed during the Crown Jewel kick-off event on November 1.

WWE Crown Jewel is taking place from the Mohammad Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The card for the show is as follows:

At 30 years old, Liv Morgan has reached the pinnacle of WWE and is dominating on Monday Night Raw as Women’s World Champion. Morgan has found a ‘family’ for herself as part of The Judgment Day, and has shared her future plans if she ever becomes a parent.

On the ImPaulsive podcast, Morgan spoke about how many of the women she competes with balance work with being a mom. While Morgan is impressed by these mothers, she doesn’t see a return to the ring happening if she ever has a child.

“All the mums at work I’m just like wow you’re incredible because I imagine myself when I have a baby, I’m home, I’m not coming back to work. I’m going to stay at home. So I think they’re so just incredible how they just do both because I could never.”

WWE has several moms currently competing, including reigning WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. Alexa Bliss has yet to return to action after giving birth to her daughter Hendrix in late 2023, and the same is the case with Carmella who became a mom in November 2023 after previous issues.

Liv Morgan will be a WWE Superstar for many years to come. Morgan, born Gionna Daddio, joined WWE a decade ago in October 2014. She was initially discovered when a WWE-affiliated strength and conditioning coach saw her working at at Joe DeFranco’s gym. She was on WWE television just a few months later and debuted at NXT Takeover: Rival in February 2015. She portrayed an enthusiastic fan who jumped the barricade to hug wrestler Tyler Breeze, and is now one of the biggest stars in the industry.

Morgan appeared on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast this week, where spilled the news about her new longterm contract. Asked about her “5-year plan,” she replied:

“I just signed a new five-year deal, so my five-year plan is WWE.”

Morgan has enjoyed a breakout year, highlighted by feuds with Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch. She won the vacant Women’s World Title at King and Queen of the Ring back in May, and has been at the center of one of WWE’s most popular storylines.

Unfortunately, her feud with Mami will be put on hold due to Ripley fracturing her orbital bone last week’s Raw. Morgan will battle Nia Jax this weekend in Saudi Arabia to determine the inaugural Women’s Crown Jewel Champion.

On the October 29, edition of WWE NXT, Rhea Ripley returned to the brand she once dominated and had a segment with Kelani Jordan, Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, Zaria, and TNA Wrestling’s Jordynne Grace. Ripley fired the quintet of women up ahead of next week’s massive ten-woman tag-team match, but the Monday Night Raw Superstar fell victim to a brutal attack shortly after.

During the introductions of the show’s main event, a camera rushed backstage and arrived in the famously dangerous NXT parking lot. There, Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez were seen walking away with baseball cats and Ripley was laying by her car. The Australian was busted open and was a bloody mess, clearly the victim of an assault from her nemesis and Morgan’s bodyguard.

Fans were shocked to see the brutal scene as WWE typically avoids showing blood if they can help it. In an update, Corey Brennan of Fightful reported that there was some “concern internally” about the amount of blood, but that a “higher power” within the company gave the segment the green light.

On the Insight podcast, Morgan addressed her impressive 2024 and was admittedly unsure about what’s next for her tour.

“I don’t know. At Bad Blood that was for me this is done. Rhea seems unsatisfied with the finish of this match and she’s kind of just a little bit obsessive at this point, won’t leave us alone. So I feel like there might be a little bit of unfinished business that I have to take care of. So it might not be [over].”

One concern that could be in Morgan’s future is Tiffany Stratton, whose Money in the Bank contract has put her at odds with the Women’s World Champion. On the podcast, Morgan looked at her various issues and why she’s not too worried.

“I have Nia Jax to prep for Crown Jewel. I have Tiffany potentially wanting to cash in on me, and I have Rhea who is literally being a stage five clinger and stalker for me and Daddy Dom. So there’s a lot of things going on. But luckily, I’m not looking over my shoulder. Do you know why? Because I have Raquel Rodriguez doing that for me.”
