“I don’t want to see celebrities getting a leg up on wrestlers; wrestling should always be on top.”
Though best known for his comedy, Sasso has had involvement in wrestling, including facing Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart during an episode of WCW Monday Nitro, a match Sasso would lose. Not just a name in WCW, Sasso appeared as a ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin impersonator during the Attitude Era and ate a stunner by the Texas Rattlesnake himself.
On the podcast, Sasso reflected on how his love for wrestling has influienced his impressions of legends including Ric Flair, Randy Savage, and Jesse Ventura.
“I love Jesse Ventura, so I will catch a story more often than not.”
Sasso’s love for wrestling extends to the modern day, as he expressed excitement with the current product as well as the returns of John Cena and The Rock. With Triple H at the creative helm, Sasso is excited to what’s to come in the industry he has seen evolve over decades.
Logan Paul has revealed that he will no longer be performing a specific move in WWE, despite recently adding it to his in-ring arsenal.
On February 10, Paul competed in his first-ever match on WWE Raw, securing a victory over Rey Mysterio to qualify for the men’s Elimination Chamber match on March 1. During the bout, he debuted several new moves, including a finisher dubbed the “Paulverizer” by commentator Pat McAfee, which he used to pin the WWE Hall of Famer.
Paul also executed the Moonsault & Battery, a maneuver popularized by Shane Mercer. Do WWE fans want to see Logan Paul get his comeuppance in the ring, or do they just not want to see him at all. Paul himself thinks it is the latter. On a recent edition of his ImPaulsive podcast, Paul shared that he believes fans truly would rather see him gone from wrestling above anything else.
“I think I have go away heat. So, the only reason why it works is because I’m a great wrestler. There’s a handful of the audience that is genuinely like, ‘Get this guy out of here.'”
Go away heat occurs when fans legitimately dislike a wrestler to an extent that they would rather not see them in any role, even if they are getting beaten up. In the early 200s, Sean ‘X-Pac’ Waltman received so much go away heat that many dubbed it ‘X-Pac heat.’
A more recent example of go away heat is playing out in TNA Wrestling with fans wanting to see Tessa Blanchard gone rather than seeing the heel get beaten up. During the latest iMPACT, fans chanted “please don’t wrestle” at Blanchard when Santino Marella ordered Tessa to wrestle next week or be fired.
As for Paul, he will be a part of the Men’s Elimination Chamber match, set for the March 1, PLE in Toronto, Canada. With a WrestleMania 41 oportunity awaiting the victor, fans may soon be seeing much more of Logan Paul, despite his alleged go away heat.

YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson, better known as Mr. Beast recently published a video exploring the great pyramids of Giza in collaboration with the Egypt Film Commission.
Talking about the video in his latest vlog, the ever-controversial WWE star revealed that he had actually requested to be a part of this trip. The Egyptian government however, made it clear that he was not welcomed in the country:
“Mr. Beast just uploaded a new video exploring the pyramids or something. And I love the pyramids. So I was like ‘Jimmy, can I come?’ And he was like ‘For sure dude.’ Then a week later he called me and was like ‘Dude, unfortunately, the Egyptian government said that you can’t come, otherwise we can’t come.’
And I was like ‘Wait what? I know I pissed people off at the Egyptian government, I’ve never even been to Egypt, why can’t I come to the pyramid Jimmy?’ He said ‘I don’t know the government specifically said you are the only person that cannot come on this trip.'”
Logan Paul was previously involved in a controversy relating to his trip to Japan. He received wide criticism for uploading footage of a corpse of a suicide victim on his YouTube channel.
In an interview with Dominik Mysterio last year, Paul had claimed that he was not officially banned by the Japanese government but he wanted to be invited back if he ever were to visit the country again.

Logan Paul isn’t too concerned about a controversial scene that unfolded at WWE 2025 Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. In a moment that has since gone viral, Paul grabbed a fan’s camera during his entrance and smashed it by throwing it to the floor.

Conor McGregor recently shared insights into a hypothetical boxing match with Logan Paul during an interview with The Schmo. While the fight never materialized, McGregor explained the reasoning behind the idea, referring to it as a “business savvy” move during his downtime from the UFC.
“It was business savvy and business sense to make the fight happen. Or should I say the glorified spar happen,” McGregor said.
“In between this wait… before I can get back to the Octagon, it made perfect sense on the calendar to go ahead with it. The UFC weren’t into it. I’m not sure the WWE, what their interest was. I just knew the UFC weren’t into it.”

WWE Raw Superstar Logan Paul was an attendee at Donald Trump’s Presidential inauguration earlier this week, bringing his unique personality to the event in Washington. Stand-up comedian Theo Von was also part of the inauguration, and now the pair are beefing over a chair-related ‘prank.’
On X, Paul shared a video of Von’s chair giving out under him, causing the Comedian to fall backwards into Paul’s lap. In a response, Von accused Logan and Jake Paul of sabotaging his chair.
Now, Paul has responded. In another post on X, Paul asserted his innocence and reminded Von that one is “innocent until proven guilty” in the United States of America. Von also fired back, saying that he’d heard differently and alluded to Paul’s role as a WWE Superstar.

In addition to Trump’s administration once again including former WWE President Linda McMahon as a key cabinet member (Education Secretary), the inauguration festivities promise plenty of star power. Many of the stars have direct ties to WWE.
WWE Superstar Logan Paul is in attendance, along with his brother, boxing prizefighter Jake Paul.
UFC CEO Dana White, Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones and Conor McGregor are there.
Social media is already abuzz with photos of the Paul brothers and McGregor showcasing their signature showmanship at the celebration.
The Second Trump Inauguration
President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration is set to take place on Monday, January 2025, in Washington, D.C., marking the formal beginning of his presidency. The event is expected to draw a mix of high-profile attendees, including prominent figures from the world of sports and entertainment.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino, who has credited Trump for his support of international soccer, is also planning to be present. Logan Paul, KSI, and their Prime Hydration brand have pledged over $6.25 million in donations to support California wildfire victims. So far, 1.7 million bottles of Prime Hydration, worth nearly $5 million, have been distributed to firefighters, shelters, first responders, and over 700 food banks in Los Angeles County. An additional $1.5 million worth of donations is expected to be delivered by the end of the week, according to a spokesperson for Prime.

In addition to the efforts by Paul and KSI, several Hollywood celebrities have stepped up to assist in the relief efforts. Stars like Tyler Sebago, Bella Thorne, and Benny Blanco have actively participated in transporting supplies to areas of Los Angeles County most in need. Speaking about his involvement, Sebago expressed gratitude for the opportunity to contribute, saying, “It’s really up to all of us to be a net positive… and leave our communities better than we found them.”

The company presented a special kickoff event for their upcoming streaming debut at the WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. The event featured a number of big names including Triple H, Rhea Ripley, Kevin Owens, Paul Heyman and more.
During a segment on the show, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce took the mic to introduce the newest member of his roster and out came none other than Logan Paul.
The YouTube star went on to cut a promo about being the best athlete present in the building and referenced Conor McGregor’s remarks about a potential match in India.
Paul also sent a message to the WWE roster saying ‘If you have something I want, I’m gonna take it.’ He ended the segment claiming that he’s a future World Champion.
The promo got an instant response from the defending World Champion of the Red Brand, Gunther during his own segment on the show.
The Ring General made it clear that Logan will have to earn his shot at the title and if he ever does so, the World Champ will “smack the stupid smirk off his face.”
