Love Him Or Hate Him, Logan Paul Is The Right Challenger For Roman Reigns At WWE Crown Jewel

Things took a turn for the WWE Universe recently, when a clear direction emerged for the next major challenger to oppose Roman Reigns. After The Head of the Table fended off Riddle in a free TV classic, Brock Lesnar in a wild Last Man Standing Match, and Drew McIntyre in front of a lively UK crowd, there were real questions as to where the company could go next with its top champion. They’ve opted for perhaps the least likely route of all, not in a grizzled veteran or wildly popular young talent, but rather Internet celebrity turned wrestler Logan Paul. While quite a few fans have expressed how unhappy they are with this booking choice, its actually a shrewd decision heading into Crown Jewel.

Logan Paul Vs. Roman Reigns Is A Fresh Matchup

Roman Reigns Logan Paul Press Conference

One of the key problems with Roman Reigns and his marathon reign atop WWE is that he has run through most of his credible challengers. He’s beaten Brock Lesnar multiple times. He beat Riddle and Drew McIntyre. He retained the title against the likes of Edge, Kevin Owens, Rey Mysterio, Seth Rollins, and Finn Balor. He even beat part time threats like John Cena and Goldberg.

Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes are two of the full-time roster members still standing in his way, and it stands to reason they’ll each factor in the title picture when they’re back from injury. Meanwhile, even Braun Strowman, who has a lot of momentum off his return to the company, already lost to Reigns at the front end of his time on top.

Logan Paul is, at least, someone new, with a genuinely different set of skills from other challengers Reigns has faced. On top of that, he does garner a bit of kayfabe credibility from winning his only two matches to date, and on no lesser stages than WrestleMania and SummerSlam.

No One Believes Roman Reigns Will Lose The Title In 2022

Roman Reigns Champion

The conventional wisdom is that Roman Reigns will retain his undisputed title until at least WrestleMania 39, when fans anticipate a dream match with The Rock. With that match expected, it’s hard to buy anyone beating The Tribal Chief before that point, so WWE’s task, rather than creating doubt, is to put forth the most entertaining spectacle possible.

The jury’s out on whether Logan Paul is the best man for that particular task. Nonetheless, he is an offbeat challenger who just might draw some extra media attention, if only for the seeming absurdity of him getting a shot at the most prestigious title in wrestling.

Logan Paul Has Overperformed In Each WWE Match He’s Had So Far

Logan Paul WWE SummerSlam 2022

While Logan Paul has no shortage of haters who want nothing to do with him, there’s also a reality they must face. At WrestleMania, he more than held up his end of the bargain, arguably the MVP of his tag team match paired with The Miz against the Mysterios. From there, he did everything he could to steal the show at SummerSlam, going for assorted high spots and feats of strength against The Miz.

Paul doesn’t really belong in the conversation of world title contenders at this point based on his skills and experience. However, his first two outings have offered reason to believe that he’ll rise to the occasion. Particularly in a match WWE is sure to carefully plan and choreograph around his abilities, Paul will likely as not hold up his end for an entertaining match at Crown Jewel.

Saudi Arabia Is The Best Place To Book Babyface Logan Paul Vs. Heel Roman Reigns

WWE Crown Jewel Live Crowd

An awkward aspect of Logan Paul’s WWE run is that he has purportedly demanded to remain a babyface, despite having overwhelming natural heel heat. On the flip side, Roman Reigns is over enough in his heel persona that he’s edging on fan favorite territory, despite reportedly insisting he wants to stay heel.

With these dynamics in place, staging the match between these two in front of a Saudi Arabian audience—fans who tend to be happy to be there and adhere to cheering the faces and booing the heels—may be the best answer to keeping each man where he wants to be.

Roman Reigns vs. Logan Paul probably won’t be an all-time classic and there are justifiable reasons to criticize the choice for Paul to get a title shot at this stage of his career. Nonetheless, there are also quite a few factors to make this specific choice at this specific time make a great deal of sense.

Logan Paul Wants to Turn the WWE Universe Into a ‘Multiverse’

Is the WWE Universe big enough already? Not according to Logan Paul.

The Youtuber-turned-boxer has made an impression this year, having victories at both WrestleMania 38 and Summerslam.

Paul comes to WWE already with a sizable fan base, with his YouTube channel boasting over 23.6 million subscribers and close to six billion views.

Speaking to Bleacher Report after this week’s press conference, the YouTuber spoke about plans to expand WWE’s current fan base (via Sports Illustrated.)

“This is no diss to the WWE but I told them this before I signed my contract, I’m a good amplifier.

“I crossover big, mainstream events. The WWE is a universe and it’s huge, but I told Triple H I want to make this a multiverse.”

Paul also spoke about how he specifically can bring in people who wouldn’t necessarily watch wrestling.

“How do we bring in people who aren’t necessarily watching and interested in the WWE to the sport? I think I bring the eyeballs, I think they know it.”

Logan Paul in WWE

Logan Paul has honed himself on both YouTube and boxing, but wouldn’t make his in-ring wrestling debut until WWE WrestleMania 38.

At the event, Paul teamed with The Miz to defeat Rey and Dominik Mysterio but was attacked by the A-Lister after the match.

In July, Paul signed a talent contract with WWE, and defeated The Miz at Summerslam.

The Youtuber/Boxer’s next match will be against Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns on November 5 at the Crown Jewel event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Jake Paul Teasing Crown Jewel Appearance For Logan Paul vs. Roman Reigns

Logan Paul will be attempting to do the impossible at Crown Jewel when he challenges Roman Reigns for the Unified WWE Universal Championship.

One big problem the YouTube star will have to overcome if he wants to win the title is The Bloodline. Now it appears that he might not have to do it alone.

Logan’s brother Jake Paul recently replied to the announcement of this Crown Jewel match, and he noted that he might have to go to Saudi Arabia for this bout:

“Logan is the definition of anything is possible. 2 matches in WWE and he’s challenging for the belt. I might have to come to Saudi Arabia for this.”

Apart from being a celebrity, Jake Paul is also a boxer. He has defeated opponents such as retired MMA star Ben Askren and former UFC champion Tyron Woodley.

There is no doubt that the rest of the Bloodline will accompany Roman Reigns for his match against Logan Paul at the Saudi show.

With Jake’s boxing background, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he ends up joining the action to help even the odds and help his brother win the biggest prize in sports entertainment.

Roman Reigns vs. Logan Paul Planned for WWE Crown Jewel (Report)

WWE is reportedly planning to book Roman Reigns vs. Logan Paul for its Crown Jewel event.

On Friday, Dave Meltzer of F4Wonlinline.com reported that WWE is holding a press conference in Las Vegas this Saturday to announce the main event for its November 5 event with this planned match. It’s unclear whether Reigns will be defending his Undisputed WWE Universal Title against Paul or if it will be a non-title bout.

This report comes shortly after Paul was hyping on Twitter that he will make a massive announcement on tonight’s episode of SmackDown.

Paul’s appearance on tonight’s SmackDown was set up by an exchange that happened after Reigns appeared on Paul’s Impaulsive podcast and noted on Twitter that Paul was talking trash about him as Paul said Reigns is the person in WWE who he wants to face.

“You put me against Roman Reigns right now, I think I would win,” Paul said. “Me vs. Roman Reigns one-on-one, that’s my match.”

Reigns told Paul Heyman to handle it, and then Triple H  invited Paul to appear on SmackDown tonight. This led to speculation about a WWE building towards a potential match between Reigns and Paul, and that is the case.

This will be Paul’s first appearance on WWE programming since he defeated The Miz at SummerSlam.

Logan Paul Headed to SmackDown, Tensions Building with Reigns

Logan Paul will be on tonight’s episode of WWE Smackdown on FOX, the promotion has confirmed.

In a tweet, it was announced that the YouTuber-turned-boxer will be on the show, which will air from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

The show will also feature a fatal-four-way tag-team match to determine the number one contenders for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships.

Confronting the Tribal Chief?

WWE hasn’t confirmed what Paul will be doing on the show, but he may be settings his sights on the Head of the Table.

During a recent episode of Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, Roman Reigns spoke about his career thus far in WWE. Paul said he’d love to one day face Reigns one day.

Reigns’ next match is expected to be at the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia, as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion is not scheduled for next month’s Hell in a Cell.

Earlier this week, Paul and Paul Heyman had the following exchange on social media:

Logan Paul

Paul made his WWE debut last year, as part of the Sami Zayn Vs. Kevin Owens, and sided with Zayn.

After making his WWE debut last year, Paul took things to the next level this year, having his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 38.

At the event, Paul teamed with The Miz to defeat The Mysterious but was attacked by the A-Lister after the match.

Paul’s wrestling ability in the match and solid heel work earned praise from fans and those in the industry alike.

In July, Paul signed a talent contract with WWE, and defeated The Miz at Summerslam.

WWE Teasing Unlikely Opponent For Roman Reigns

Many people have been wondering who Roman Reigns will face next after defeating Drew McIntyre at Clash At The Castle. WWE is now teasing the most unlikely of the opponents for the Tribal Chief.

It all started when the Unified WWE Universal champion appeared on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast. He told ‘the boys’ to acknowledge him afterwards for bringing the Island of Relevancy to the show.

Paul Heyman then responded to a command from Reigns and claimed that he will ‘bestow upon’ the wisdom that Logan Paul desperately lacks.

Roman Reigns vs Logan Paul?

When the YouTube star asked the Wiseman how he planned on doing this, Triple H intervened and invited him to SmackDown tomorrow night:

“…It just so happens I have a globally televised platform to allow our Superstars to “handle” their issues with one another … consider this an invite for #Smackdown tomorrow night!”

Logan Paul has since accepted this invitation and WWE is promoting that he will be bringing his ‘Media Megastar energy’ to the Blue Branded Show.

While not confirmed, all this seems like a set up for a potential match between Logan Paul and Roman Reigns at the Crown Jewel PPV.

Whether or not it actually happens will be revealed in future. One thing is for sure that the confrontation on SmackDown will be a very interesting one.

“It Was An Uphill Battle” – Roman Reigns Discusses His Leukemia Diagnosis

Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns joined Logan Paul on the latest edition of the Impaulsive podcast.

He discussed the rumored matchup against The Rock at WrestleMania 39 in Hollywood during the podcast and many other topics. During the conversation, The Tribal Chief discussed his battle with cancer that forced him to step away from WWE for some time.

Roman was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia in 2007 and he had to take a hiatus for treament in 2018. Reigns made the announcement in October 2018 and returned to the company on RAW in February 2019.

Roman Reigns Discusses His Leukemia Diagnosis

The Head of the Table recalled being diagnosed with Leukemia during his brief stint in the NFL and said it was a shock to hear the word “cancer” at such a young age. Roman noted that the health issue put an asterisk next to his NFL career and it was an uphill battle following his diagnosis.

Technically we weren’t quite sure, this is where we saw the blood lapse that showed the elevated white blood cells which clearly says your body is attacking something, it’s fighting off something. So they were like yeah it could be anything Venereal disease, infection, cancer and all I heard was cancer, I’m like ‘Woah,’ it got super heavy.

So I compartmentalize emotions sometimes so I think it was just so overwhelming that it wasn’t even believable and even then it was like this was back in ’07 so this was years ago. So you hear about younger people with blood cancers more often now but back then a 21-year-old come straight out of college, a division one football player supposed to be kinda peak health right?

You never would expect that. So it put a huge asterisk next to my name when it came to the NFL. So it was just an uphill battle from there man.

Logan Paul Details WWE Experience: “I’ve Never Felt More Accepted”

Logan Paul has had a couple of matches with WWE so far. The YouTube star seems to be enjoying his experience in the company both on and off screen.

The internet sensation recently appeared on The Pat McAfee Show. He talked about things such as his much-talked Frog Splash at SummerSlam and more.

Speaking about his WWE experience, Paul claimed that he has never felt more accepted as an employee. He called WWE a ‘well-oiled machine’:

“I’ve never felt more accepted as an employee, like I work for the WWE. They’re so good man. It is a well-organized machine, and I’m continually surprised by how much they can do. Effectively, too. Some of the sh-t they pull off is unreal.”

Logan Paul also revealed that Triple H has given him advice about moves and the audience. Other people who have helped him include Stephanie McMahon, Nick Khan and Kevin Dunn.

Paul has signed a multi-year deal with WWE and he is expected to return to the ring. Though latest report suggests that it won’t be happening anytime soon, and the 27-year-old will likely not be seen in WWE before December.

Logan Paul Won’t Be Wrestling Again Anytime Soon

Logan Paul picked up a win over The Miz in his singles debut at last Saturday’s WWE SummerSlam event. This was just one match as part of his multi-year contract with WWE.

Unfortunately, Logan Paul won’t be wrestling for WWE anytime soon, as he’s focusing on a proposed boxing match in December. Paul confirmed this during the latest episode of the Pat McAfee Show as he revealed he hopes to get the fight booked.

Logan Paul’s Next Boxing Fight

Although he teased having a few people in mind for the fight, Logan Paul didn’t reveal who he would be fighting next.

In the past, Paul has been linked to several different fighters, including a boxing match against former UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva, but the fight has yet to be made. He has also expressed interest in fighting former two-division UFC Champion Conor McGregor.

Paul’s last fight came against fellow YouTuber KSI back in 2019, losing via a split decision. It’s possible a third fight with KSI could be an option for his return to the ring.

Paul’s first wrestling match was when he teamed with The Miz against The Mysterios at WrestleMania 38 in April.

Triple H Had Savage Reaction to Hearing Logan Paul Was Joining WWE

Logan Paul has been impressive in his two matches with WWE, with his most recent match coming at SummerSlam with a win over The Miz. The match featured Paul pulling off a frog splash from the top rope to the outside, sending The Miz through a table.

Triple H appeared on Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, discussing taking over creative for WWE and his successful career.

Although Paul is a big social media influencer, not everyone knew who he was, including Triple H, as he had no clue who he was before he joined WWE.

Triple H was asked to recall his immediate reaction to Logan joining WWE and had a brutally honest answer: “who the f*** is that?”. Triple H went on to speak highly of Paul and how Logan had impressed him massively with how quickly he’s taken to wrestling

Logan signed a multi-year, multi-event deal with WWE back in June. He recently stated that he wants to make more WWE appearances because he’s addicted to wrestling now.

Logan Paul Announces More WWE Appearances: “So Addicted to This Sport”

Fans can expect to see more of Logan Paul on WWE television. The YouTuber/boxing star is coming off a win over The Miz at last Saturday’s SummerSlam event, which marked his first singles match.

On Monday, Paul took to Twitter to issue a video about the big weekend and how he wants to do more with the company. He also said that he’s addicted to the business.

“I’ve done a lot of crazy stuff in my life, but what happened this past weekend at SummerSlam is so far the coolest thing I’ve ever done. I’m so addicted to this sport. I think I might’ve found my calling. Guys, I called the WWE execs, and I told them we got a multi-year, multi-event deal coming.

I’m going to be performing all over the world, traveling everywhere. Just the energy and adrenaline that I feel inside that ring with a jam-packed stadium, I want more. I don’t know where or when it’s going to be just yet, but when I get in that ring again, it is going to be massive, and you do want to watch it. This is history in the making. I could not be happier to be part of this universe, and I’ll see you guys soon.”

Paul signed a multi-year deal with WWE that will see him work several matches. Paul made his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 38, where he teamed with The Miz to defeat The Mysterios (Dominik and Rey).

Logan Paul Not Interested in Winning Over WWE Fans

Logan Paul has made some serious waves within WWE already.

Paul has had just two matches but it’s become quite clear that the social media star is a natural. In his first match at WrestleMania 38 back in April, he teamed with The Miz to take on Rey and Dominik Mysterio.

In that match, Paul was praised for his heel character work and his awareness, mocking Rey Mysterio with Eddie Guerrero’s Three Amigos and Frog Splash moves.

His second match was an even bigger challenge as he went one-on-one with The Miz. In the first singles match of his young pro wrestling career, Paul shined again.

Logan hit a moonsault from the ring apron to the floor, a Blockbuster, a springboard forearm, and more. Paul’s biggest spot was hitting a Frog Splash from the top turnbuckle onto the announce table.

Paul got the win with the Skull Crushing Finale and thanks to his impressive performance, he ended up receiving a big babyface pop.

Logan Paul Doesn’t Care About Cheers or Boos

Logan Paul is a babyface on the WWE roster but many feel he has been miscast since the WWE audience tends to dislike him. During an interview with DailyDDT, Paul said that he doesn’t care if he gets cheers or boos.

“I gotta do this sh*t, for real, for a very long time,” he said about how he can win over the audience. “I don’t think a win will change their mind on anything… The WWE fans are unpredictable. I get booed sometimes and I get cheered sometimes. I’ll be talking on the mic and I’ll hear someone hurl a derogatory insult at me. I make a joke and he laughs and says, ‘Ah, he is funny.’ So, I don’t know, but it’s like a tornado out there and I’m in the middle of it.

I don’t care [about being booed or cheered.] I don’t care, man. I’ve been loved. I’ve been hated. I’m completely indifferent to both. As long as there is a reaction, and trust me, there will be a reaction, we’re good.”

Logan Paul on WWE fan reaction

“I’m unbothered,” he said about the reactions. “I don’t care. I’m here to prove myself right more than anyone telling me what I can and can’t do and I’ve done it time and time and time again. If you look at my track record, my whole life is a series of me doing stuff people telling me I can and can not do or will not do and this is just another one of those things. Like I said, just time in that ring.

Months, years, decades. God willing, who knows what happens with this sport. That’s where the real respect is. There’s a reason why Roman Reigns, John Cena, Stone Cold and guys like that get the respect they get. It’s because they’ve dedicated their lives to a certain craft, and while I’m totally willing to do that, this is only match number two.

I can’t focus on whether I’m loved or hated right now and focus on doing the best I absolutely can and putting on a killer performance.”

Logan Paul Wins his First Singles Match at WWE SummerSlam

Expectations were high among fans for Logan Paul in his singles debut when he took on The Miz at Saturday’s WWE SummerSlam event from Nissan Stadium.

The match featured Paul doing some basic moves including a fireman’s takedown early before hitting a moonsault off the apron. Miz with a codebreaker from the middle rope. Paul with a blockbuster off the rope for 2. Paul with a crossbody then a standing moonsault for 2. Paul hit a Phenomenal Forearm. Paul hit an outside dive to send Miz through the announce table. Paul went over the Skull Crushing Finale.

Paul made his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 38 where he teamed with The Miz against the Mysterios (Dominik and Rey). Post-match, Miz turned on him by hitting him with the skull crushing finale. WWE reportedly made a promise to Paul ahead of the match that he would be a babyface as he wanted to portray that role instead of being a natural heel.

On the July 18th edition of raw, Pail appeared on Miz TV and wanted an answer regarding his SummerSlam challenge. Miz ignored him and show footage of their match. Paul showed footage of Miz turning on him. After Paul insinuated that Miz had “tiny balls”, Miz accepted the challenge.

Paul signed a multi-year deal with WWE that will see him work several matches. During the signing, Paul said he was coming after The Miz, who ignored the warning and instead suggested the two continue their tag team.

Why WWE Opened RAW With Logan Paul & Miz Brawl (Report)

This week’s episode of Monday Night RAW opened up right into a brawl between The Miz and Logan Paul.

Typically, WWE opts to open up their shows with a big Superstar coming out to cut a promo. However, when RAW went live on the USA Network this week, Miz and Paul were already smack in the middle of exchanging blows inside the ring before WWE officials came out to separate them.

The Reason Logan Paul & Miz Opened RAW

Despite WWE signing Logan Paul due to his massive popularity, there were concerns that the Madison Square Garden crowd would boo him out of the building.

To avoid (babyface) Logan Paul from getting heavily booed, Dave Meltzer reports that WWE opted to start the broadcast the action already under way. There were reports that Paul did, in fact, receive heavy boos when making his entrance before the show went live.

Paul did appear later on in the show again, hosting his Impaulsive segment with The Miz and Maryse. That segment ended with Ciampa and Miz beating Paul down, concluding with Miz nailing Paul with the Skull Crushing Finale.

After Miz hit Paul, there was a chant of “one more time.” Paul signed a WWE contract shortly after making his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 38 earlier this year. There, he worked as a heel, teaming with Miz and defeating The Mysterios.

However, after that match, Miz hit Paul with the Skull Crushing Finale, turning on him. WWE has essentially been trying to turn Paul babyface ever since.

Logan Paul and The Miz will square off this Saturday at WWE SummerSlam.

What Will Logan Paul Be Doing on WWE Raw?

We now know what Logan Paul is set to do on the July 18 episode of WWE Raw.

This coming episode of the red brand’s show is set to take place inside Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL. Advertised for the show is a Raw Women’s Championship rematch between titleholder Bianca Belair and Carmella.

Also scheduled for the show will be the return of Internet sensation Logan Paul. This will be his first WWE appearance since signing a deal with the company.

Ariel Helwani reported that this is a multi-year deal for multiple dates per year.

Logan Paul on Miz TV

WWE has announced that Logan Paul will be appearing on Miz TV for the upcoming episode of Raw.

The Miz has been in a feud with Paul over what happened following their WrestleMania 38 match. Miz and Paul defeated The Mysterios in their tag team match but Miz attacked Paul afterward with the Skull Crushing Finale.

When it was announced that Paul signed with WWE, Miz claimed that he told Paul the attack was simply a lesson in the business and the two will be on the same page to go after the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships.

In a series of videos posted on social media, Paul made it clear that he is not on good terms with The Miz and wants to fight him.

Miz recently aligned with Ciampa and has warned Logan to team with him or suffer the consequences. AJ Styles has also been having issues with Miz and Ciampa, so it could lead to a big tag team match at SummerSlam on July 30.

Jake Paul Open To Teaming With Logan In WWE

Jake Paul is open to teaming up with his older brother, Logan, in WWE down the line if the opportunity presents itself.

The younger Paul brother was recently interviewed on “Carton & Roberts” over on WFAN Sports Radio 101.9 FM/66AM New York to promote his upcoming pay-per-view (PPV) clash with Hasim Rahman Jr.

During the interview, Paul was asked about potentially joining his older brother, Logan, in WWE. Jake said he’s open to the idea down the line, but not anytime soon as he’s focused on his boxing career.

“The Problem Child” doesn’t want to take the risk of getting injured while he’s still actively competing in boxing. He did, however, note that he believes it’ll be difficult for anyone to defeat a duo of himself and Logan.

Maybe someday, I just can’t get injured right now going off the top rope…That could be interesting,” Paul said (via MMA News). “I think we could become the WWE Champions, I don’t think anyone would beat us.”

While Jake Paul might not be all-in for WWE at the moment, Logan certainly is. He recently signed a multi-year deal deal with WWE, keeping him around for the foreseeable future.

Logan made his WWE in-ring debut at WrestleMania 38 back in April. He teamed up with The Miz to defeat the team of Rey and Dominik Mysterio. After the match, however, Miz attacked Logan, leaving him in the ring after hitting him with the Skull-Crushing Finale.

Now, a potential matchup involving Miz and Logan Paul is being teased for SummerSlam later this month.

Logan Paul Reveals Why He Signed WWE Contract

New WWE signee Logan Paul has revealed what made him sign with the company.

It was a surprise to wrestling fans when Paul announced that he had signed a contract with WWE. He impressed fans with his performance in a tag match with The Miz against Rey and Dominik Mysterio at Wrestlemania 38 Night one on April 2.

Despite having no prior experience, he showed great potential if he chose to continue professional wrestling. The Wrestlemania experience left an impression on Paul, and he shared on his Impaulsive podcast that it made him decide to sign a multi-year deal.

Logan Paul WWE contract

“…For me, there is a trifecta that I look for that decides what I do, and I say this with privilege because I can do this now because of the years, decades of hard work I’ve put in, but when I can mix passion, business and media all into one thing I’m like ultimate me, happy place,” said Paul.

He continued, “…When I did Wrestlemania, I had so much fun. I just had fun. I came back all my friends had fun. We were all smiling. That was awesome. I’m looking at the clips, and I can’t believe that was me.”

Paul also believes it will increase his brand by working with the WWE. “… It’s smart they pay well. WWE it’s a big organization, and media, it’s a show. It’s a great performance and entertainment, so I’m excited for this journey, and I’m well aware of how powerful of a launch pad it can be for whatever I want to do in life,” said Paul.

The new signee explained that he’s not as visible in the media as he was in the past and that this is an opportunity to leverage WWE for his brand.

Logan Paul vs. The Miz at Summerslam?

While speaking about his deal with WWE, Paul also revealed that he would be challenging The Miz at Summerslam on July 30th. It’s unclear if WWE will have Paul face The Miz in a singles match, but Paul confirms that he will be coming for the former WWE Champion.

After their tag team match at Wrestlemania 38 Night One, The Miz attacked Paul. After signing his contract, Paul warned his former tag team partner that he wanted revenge. On his podcast, Paul shared that he looks forward to slamming The Miz.

“…I will be coming for The Miz at Summerslam. He wants to team up with me think he’s delusional. He thinks we are still partners, and we’re cool. We’re not. I take this very seriously, and I will slam him hard,” said Paul.

The new WWE talent will be on Monday Night Raw on July 18th to confront The Miz. While Paul wants to face The Miz one-on-one, WWE could also look to do a tag team match instead.

Megastar to Appear on WWE Raw Next Week

A big star will be appearing on the July 18 episode of WWE Raw.

Next week’s edition of the show will be held inside Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. This episode of Raw will be the continuation of the road to SummerSlam, which will go down on July 30.

WWE recently signed a social media sensation a few short months after his impressive showing at WrestleMania 38.

He will be making his first appearance as a contracted WWE superstar very soon.

Logan Paul Coming to Raw

During the July 11 episode of Raw, WWE announced that Logan Paul will be featured on next week’s show. His appearance had been previously advertised by the arena but now it’s official.

For weeks, The Miz has urged Logan to team with him again and go after the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships. The problem is, Miz turned on Paul following their tag team victory over Rey and Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania earlier this year.

Logan has insisted that he doesn’t want to team with Miz. Instead, he wants to have a match against the “A-Lister.”

Miz has aligned himself with Ciampa and the numbers game has become an annoyance to AJ Styles. Perhaps we’re due for Logan and Styles vs. Miz and Ciampa for SummerSlam.

Time will tell if WWE goes in that direction.

Logan Paul Brings Massive Potential for WWE

When news broke that Logan Paul signed with WWE there was the usual response. You know. The one where certain fans have that knee-jerk reaction of, “Here comes _____insert celebrity___ to collect their payday.”

They can’t stand when someone, an “outsider,” comes into the pro wrestling world to take up television time or a spot from someone else. The common response has become a “one size fits all.”  In actuality, it has been a mixed bag.

Mr. T may have not been the easiest to work with for the likes of Roddy Piper, but boy did it create big business in the 1980s. His involvement helped put WrestleMania on the map. Even Lawrence Taylor put on a stellar performance against Bam Bam Bigelow in the main event at WrestleMania 11 no less. Dennis Rodman helped take WCW and the nWo further into the mainstream through his involvement.

Over the years WWE Hall of Famer Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather, Kevin Greene, and countless others could be credited for a positive uptick. Along with Paul,  Bad Bunny, and Johnny Knoxville are among notable recent successes. You can even mark MMA legends Ken Shamrock and Ronda Rousey in that upper echelon of seamless crossovers.

Celebrities who excel in pro wrestling

Usually, those who tend to do well come in humble with a willing-to-learn attitude. They genuinely wanted to pick up each facet of this unique form of sports and entertainment.

Of course, there was Jay Lenos, Drew Careys, and Kevin Federlines. Though even not-so-good outings, the one constant remained. Drawing new eyes to the product The pro wrestling fan base tends to live in a bubble without thinking big picture.

Bunny merch was right up there in top merch sellers during his run. Whether you like Paul or not, he brings buzz and a massive social media following. And in 2022 that’s prime currency.

The 27-year-old also looks seemingly committed to putting in the work. That was evident at WrestleMania 38 where he teamed with The Miz against the Mysterios and impressed a global audience. Yes, Miz and Rey Mysterio are veterans who know how to elevate opponents, but Paul also brought athletic ability and somewhat of a fighting background. He has done some serious training. The viral YouTube star demonstrated how to work an audience working alongside true pros in Sami Zayne and Kevin Owens.

There is a clear interest in Paul joining WWE. His name trended on Twitter while his image became the most liked photo on Instagram in company history. It’s a good start, but wrestling fans are hard to please. The keyboard warriors, the trolls that lurk on Twitter and the like. Paul is used to managing the social media waters. But pro wrestling has proven to be its own animal that can’t be put in one category or box.

His first test comes in a program with The Miz. Someone who came into WWE from Real World notoriety, which put a similar target as Paul will experience on a certain scale. Through unwavering determination, Miz changed many detractors’ minds and clawed for every accolade. Paul is going to have to do the same.

We’ll see what happens heading into SummerSlam. Whether he excels or has a run that goes up in flames, one thing is for sure. People will be watching.

WWE SummerSlam 2022 Preview

Logan Paul is Coming to WWE Raw

This week, Logan Paul signed a new multi-year deal with WWE in one of the biggest signings for the company in recent years.

While Paul has limited wrestling experience prior to signing, he has a massive fanbase from his work on YouTube and has also proven himself in boxing.

Paul is the latest big-name WWE is counting on to help boost both ticket sales and viewership figures, and fans won’t have to wait long to see him on their screens.

There’s no official word yet on what Paul will do during his appearance later this month.

Logan Paul at Summerslam

WWE have not confirmed what Paul will be doing on the July 18, Raw, but it’s believed he’ll have some sort of run-in with The Miz.

As soon as Paul signed his contract, fans speculated on a match with the two-time WWE Grand Slam Champion, who betrayed Paul at WrestleMania 38.

During his signing, Paul wrote out a warning, saying that he is coming for The Miz who later responded on social media.

It’s also been reported that WWE plans on presenting Paul as a babyface for his inevitable feud with the former WWE World Champion.

Logan Paul Signs Multi-Year WWE Contract

Internet sensation Logan Paul has signed a deal with WWE.

Paul has been getting quite comfortable with the company and for good reason. He performed at WrestleMania 38, teaming with The Miz to take on Rey & Dominik Mysterio.

Logan was highly praised for his showing and many believed he looked like a natural inside the ring. While Paul had been announced for a SummerSlam return, he has now put pen to paper.

Logan Paul Signs on Dotted Line

Logan Paul took to his Twitter account to show he’s signed a WWE contract in front of Stephanie McMahon and Triple H.

A video was then released of Paul writing a message to The Miz on the back of his contract.

Some were wondering if this is just a deal for the SummerSlam premium live event or if it’s a more long-term situation.

Ariel Helwani is reporting that this is a multi-year deal for multiple matches per year.

“Deal includes an undisclosed number of premium live events across 2022 and 2023. He’ll likely, I’m told, have his first big appearance at SS but could be on TV before that. He signed his deal yesterday.”

Paul and Miz picked up the win over The Mysterios at WrestleMania. After the match, Miz turned on Paul by hitting the Skull Crushing Finale.

During a recent episode of Monday Night Raw, Miz revealed he told Paul that this was just a learning lesson and the two are back on the same page.

Logan Paul Returning at WWE SummerSlam

Logan Paul is slated to make his in-ring return soon as The Miz stated during tonight’s Raw that he and Paul were returning as a team at SummerSlam.

The Miz cut a promo where he talked about how he was the one who set up pictures of Paul training and at SummerSlam, it would be him and Paul returning together. Kevin Patrick, who conducted the interview, brought up that it was The Miz who laid out Paul after their tag team match at WrestleMania 38 back in April.

The Miz said they talked after the match and how Paul understood that it was simply a teaching moment, and seemingly smoothed things over. Following the interview, Miz worked a singles match where he lost to AJ Styles.

This bout was said up earlier in the evening when Miz grabbed Styles’ leg, yanking him off the apron and eliminating him in a last chance Money in the Bank qualifier battle royal.

Paul recently posted photos of himself training and tagging WWE on Twitter:

Paul had his first match at WrestleMania 38 where he and The Miz teamed together to defeat Rey and Dominik Mysterio.

Logan Paul Reveals How Much He Really Trained for WrestleMania

Logan Paul really impressed the WWE Universe with his performance at WrestleMania 38 this past weekend in Dallas, Texas.

Paul teamed up with The Miz to take on the team of Rey and Dominik Mysterio. Paul and Miz actually came out on top, with the talk of the match being how natural Paul looked inside the ring for his first time. Even Vince McMahon gave Paul some praise backstage after the match for his in-ring work. However, it appears that Paul barely even trained for the match.

Speaking to Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour this week, Paul admitted that he only trained two days for his WrestleMania match. And each session was two hours long.

“No, no bro I trained for two days,” Paul said. “For two hours each day. I swear to God. I didn’t train at all. That’s why I’m like ‘Holy sh*t, if I did that with four hours of collective training, imagine I dedicate some real time to this.’ What can I do?”

Paul also noted that he had a bit of training in Orlando before going to Texas where the two days of training occurred, but it still wasn’t anything close to what could be described as extensive preparation.

“I had two days in Orlando a couple weeks earlier. Then in Texas we practiced a couple of moves a couple of times, but like, nothing dude. Nothing. No serious training.”

After his match, The Miz turned on Logan Paul, hitting him with the Skull-crushing Finale. Paul said his feud with Miz isn’t going away, as he plans to get the former WWE Champion in the ring and show him who the true “king of Cleveland is.”

“I’m gonna f*ck him up. I’m gonna f*ck him up bro. That was cold. That was cold. Miz is Miz dude, and evidentially I thought I got over the Miz barrier, but he only cares about The Miz. Miz cares about The Miz and that’s it. So, you know, we’ll see when I can get in there and show him who the real king of Cleveland is.”

Logan Paul Reveals What Vince McMahon Told Him After WrestleMania Debut

Logan Paul certainly impressed a lot of people with his performance at WrestleMania 38 this past weekend, including Vince McMahon himself.

Paul recently joined Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour this week to discuss what it was like making his in-ring debut for WWE on “The Grandest Stage Of Them All.” During the interview, Paul revealed that he got quite the reception from Vince McMahon backstage.

“Not yet [when asked if WWE had offered him a longer-term deal],” Paul said (via Wrestling Inc.). “Maybe they will, I don’t know. I swear. I will say this. Vince McMahon after my match. He was stoked. I go backstage, we shook hands, it was the good old stepdad Vince thing. He’s like, he goes, ‘trust me, your future is here!’ I was like, ‘cool, sure.’

“That’s Vince McMahon. He’s a legend. Him being excited about, you know, the new guy’s performance, it’s so validating. Like, even just the response and feedback online after the match, haters or lovers, not one negative comment, man. I think people were surprised by my performance and I’m so grateful that they liked it.”

Paul teamed up with The Miz to take on the team of Rey and Dominik Mysterio. The pair put on a surprisingly entertaining match, but what was the most surprising of it all was how well Paul performed inside the ring. Social media was buzzing about how natural the social media star looked inside the squared circle after his weeks of preparation alongside The Miz.

It remains to be seen if Logan Paul has any interest in doing anymore matches with WWE down the line, as he keeps busy with other ventures such as boxing, YouTube, and more, however, it sounds like McMahon would definitely be happy to have him. After The Miz turned on Paul following their win over the Mysterios, there’s certainly a story for Paul to return to should he choose to do so.

Logan Paul On His In-Ring Debut: ‘I Want To Be Humble, But I’m Good At This’

Logan Paul made his in-ring debut at WWE WrestleMania 38 by teaming with The Miz against Rey & Dominik Mysterio. The heels went over in the match, but after it, Miz turned on Paul by laying him out with the Skull Crushing Finale.

Speaking on his Impaulsive podcast, Paul reflected on his in-ring debut. He noted that doing the frog splash and three amigos was just his way of getting heat.

“When I did the shimmy on the top rope, everyone was booing. No disrespect to Eddie Guerrero. We love Eddie Guerrero.”

Paul said wrestling was more fun than his boxing matches because the energy is different. He noted that he doesn’t have a WWE fan base and thinks that’s why they like him. He thinks he brings value by bridging the gap between the mainstream and the WWE world. He thinks he can make a way to make it mainstream.

“I want to be humble, and I will, but I’m good at this. I realized my whole life, I’ve been throwing my body off of things, I’m flexible, I do these stunts.”
