When Machine Gun Kelly Got Powerbombed on WWE Raw

In light of Megan Fox’s recent pregnancy announcement with fiancé Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), we’re taking a nostalgic look back at one of MGK’s most memorable moments in pop culture: his appearance on WWE Raw in 2015.

This unexpected crossover between the worlds of music and professional wrestling left a lasting impression the rapper, mainly on his back.

The Unforgettable WWE Raw Moment

In 2015, Machine Gun Kelly made a guest appearance on WWE Raw, performing his track “A Little More” live on the show. However, what happened next was far from a typical musical performance.

Following his performance, MGK found himself in a heated exchange with WWE superstar Kevin Owens. The confrontation quickly escalated, leading to a shocking and dramatic conclusion that would be talked about for years.

The Powerbomb

In a moment that you rarely saw from a musical performer on WWE programming, Kevin Owens suddenly grabbed MGK and powerbombed him off the stage. The rapper’s body crashed onto the floor below, leaving the audience pretty stunned and creating an instant viral moment.

Looking back on the incident, Machine Gun Kelly has expressed nothing but enthusiasm for his WWE appearance. In an interview, he described the experience as a dream come true, comparing it to performing at the Super Bowl.

From WWE to Fatherhood

As Machine Gun Kelly prepares to welcome a child with Megan Fox, it’s clear that his life has taken many unexpected turns since that memorable night on WWE Raw. From being powerbombed off a stage to becoming a father once again, MGK’s journey continues to captivate his fans across various entertainment spheres.

Machine Gun Kelly Regrets Dissing The Rock at WrestleMania 28

Rapper Machine Gun Kelly recently reflected on a memorable misstep at WrestleMania 28, where his unintentional diss of WWE legend The Rock led to an unexpectedly hostile reaction from fans.

At WrestleMania 28, rapper Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) took an unexpected misstep by dissing The Rock before performing “Invincible” with Skylar Grey as part of John Cena’s entrance.

Not knowing that Miami was considered The Rock’s hometown, MGK commented on Cena being an “underdog” and made remarks that slighted The Rock. This led to overwhelming boos from the 70,000-strong crowd, which MGK later recalled as a jarring experience that taught him to have “thick skin.”

In a recent interview with Audacy’s Kevin Kenney, MGK admitted he hadn’t realized the significance of Miami to The Rock, who went on to defeat Cena in the event’s main event match. “I had no idea Miami was The Rock’s hometown… the whole stadium erupted in boos. I was like, ‘What did I do wrong?’”

Machine Gun Kelly has made several WWE television appearances over the years. He’s been in the crowd at big events, and even got physical on WWE Raw in 2015 after a live performance.

Machine Gun Kelly Reveals SummerSlam Confrontation with Randy Orton

Machine Gun Kelly had some choice words for Randy Orton, and made his views perfectly clear about the Viper at WWE SummerSlam in Cleveland. For the August PLE, Kelly accompanied Logan Paul for his U.S. title match that saw the Maverick lose the gold to current champion LA Knight. Speaking on Paul’s ImPaulsive podcast, Kelly recalled seeing Orton backstage at the event.

“I saw Randy Orton, and I remember seeing Randy Orton talk s*** about me. And there’s a point where I’m going to practice a new version of myself. 3-2-1, I’m like ‘F*** that! Hey man, f*** you!’ I don’t know where you [Paul] were but all my boys were ‘Is this real? Is this part of the script?’ The amount of people that pinned me as the aggressor in every situation I’m in are so wrong.”

Orton didn’t compete at SummerSlam, but appeared on the following episode of Monday Night RAW where he confronted GUNTHER. Orton will challenge the WWE World Heavyweight Champion this Saturday at the first WWE Bash In Berlin PLE.

Machine Gun Kelly in WWE

Machine Gun Kelly is no stranger to appearing in WWE. In 2015, Kelly performed on WWE RAW, but ate a powerbomb on the stage by Kevin Owen for his troubles. Despite doing nothing to rile up the crowd other than perform his music, the fans cheered when Owens delivered the move and gave the former Universal Champion a ‘Thank You Owens’ chant.

Kelly also appeared at the December 4, 2017 edition of Monday Night RAW and would appear again that same month as part of Tribute to the Troops. In 2022, MGK served as the Executive Producer of the soundtrack for the WWE 2K22 video game. He would be included as a playable character in the game.
