    – Tonight’s WWE SmackDown tapings will take place from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. As previously reported, local commercials are teasing whether Dolph Ziggler will cash in his Money in the Bank contract tonight.

    The advertised dark match main event is a Triple Threat match featuring World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Randy Orton.

    – WWE officials have been talking about bringing TV host Maria Menounos back for another WrestleMania match next year, according to PWInsider.com.

  • Menounos Addresses WrestleMania Status Following Rib Injury

    After it was reported Monday that Maria Menounos suffered two broken ribs during a recent dancing rehearsal for Dancing with the Stars, doubt was raised that she would be fit to compete this Sunday at WrestleMania XXVIII in the Divas Tag Team Match pitting herself and Kelly Kelly against Divas Champion Beth Phoenix and Eve. The entertainment personality, however, assures fans that she will be competing at the event in spite of her injury.

    When asked on Twitter whether she will team with Kelly at WrestleMania despite being hurt, she responded, “Wouldn’t miss it!”

    The Extra host is taking several precautions to ensure the injury doesn’t become more serious. “I’m icing when I get home. My friend Joe drives me from rehearsals and I have a pedicure station with ice in it in my car, so I ice my whole body down,” Menounos told US Weekly.

    “Once I get home, I get in a hot tub and in an Epsom salt bath. I can’t believe how dangerous dancing is! I told Derek, ‘I don’t understand! I played ice hockey, football, basketball — when did I get so fragile?’ Unfortunately the Hough’s too rough!”

  • WM 28 Competitor Maria Menounos Suffers Two Broken Ribs

    In an injury that could affect this Sunday’s WrestleMania XXVIII Divas Tag Team Match featuring Kelly Kelly and Maria Menounos against Beth Phoenix and Eve, New York Post gossip column Page Six reported Monday that the Menounos broke a rib during a recent dancing rehearsal for Dancing with the Stars.

    She broke the rib during a hardcore rehearsal with dance partner Derek Hough, who was teaching her the Cha-cha-cha. A source says, “She has been in excruciating pain for the past few weeks during rehearsals, but she is staying strong and working through it. She refuses to give up.”

    Page Six adds Menounos is hiding a rib brace underneath her dancing gear.

    Menounos confirmed the injury to Extra Monday, the entertainment news program she hosts. She says she suffered two broken ribs during a recent dance rehearsal. She will nonetheless perform on tonight’s Dancing with the Stars.

  • Henry Threatens The Rock, Cena’s Mindset, Menounos-DWTS

    – Mark Henry tweeted the following message after his loss to John Cena on Monday’s RAW:

    “To the twitter world I fell short tonight but I will get another chance to induct John Cena in the hall of pain. The rock should look out!”

    – WrestleMania 28 celebrity performer Maria Menounos made her debut on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars last night. She scored a 21 with her partner Derek Hough. The first elimination of this season will not take place until next week (3/27), so this essentially guarantees she won’t be appearing on the final RAW before her Divas tag match at WrestleMania.

    – Lilian Garcia will hold a launch party for her new single at the Gibson Miami Showroom on March 28th. Lilian will be performing the song “Ur Girl” for the VIP-only crowd.

    – During a recent appearance on Philadelphia’s Preston & Steve Show John Cena revealed that his favorite wrestler of all-time is Hulk Hogan.

    – Speaking of Cena, WWE is promoting several post-WrestleMania live events with the teaser:

    “What will John Cena’s mindset be after the biggest match of his career?”

  • More Divas At WrestleMania, Cena On ABC, Ryder, Menounos

    – John Cena will be appearing on the ABC’s talk show “The Chew” this Wednesday at 1pm (eastern). The show featuring Cena will be about “hungry guy meals.”

    – The Ryder Revolution strikes again. After getting his fans to protest WWE for blocking comments on his Z! True Long Island Story YouTube videos, WWE has given the people what they want. Comments are now enabled beginning with yesterday’s video. Woo Woo Woo.

    – There has been talk of getting more Divas involved in the WrestleMania 28 match of Eve Torres and Beth Phoenix vs. Kelly Kelly and Maria Menounos.

    – Speaking of Maria Menounos, don’t look for her to be appearing on RAW in the weeks leading up to WrestleMania. She is competing on the new season of Dancing With The Stars, which premiers this Mondy night.

    – The Rock wrote the following on Twitter as he readies for WrestleMania 28:

  • Flight Issues For WWE Talent, High Opinion On Menounos, More

    — WWE talents’ scheduled flight today at 9:30 a.m. from Montreal, Quebec, Canada to Boston, Massachusetts for tonight’s WWE live event at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in nearby Providence was delayed for several hours due to bad fog conditions and other weather related issues. The flight took off in the early afternoon so they will be able to make it to the show on time.

    Eve commented on the matter on Twitter, writing, “Meanwhile…. we had another terrrrrible travel day, courtesy of Air Canada! Fun times.”

    — Following a run-in on the set of Extra this week, Maria Menounos is teaming up with Kelly Kelly to take on Beth Phoenix and Eve at WrestleMania XXVIII. The television hostess is held in high regard in WWE as it was noted to F4WOnline.com that many people in the organization deemed her better looking than nearly all of the Divas after seeing her in person backstage at past shows.

    — Vickie Guerrero, who largely only appears at televised events, is working this weekend’s live event tour.

    — WWE has announced that they will be offering pay-per-view streaming on the iPhone and iPad beginning with WrestleMania XXVIII.

    — The Bella Twins and Alicia Fox will appear on the syndicated entertainment news program Extra on Monday. The WWE Divas were filmed last Thursday at The Grove in Los Angeles chatting with Maria Menounos.

    — Jerry “The King” Lawler will appear at the Salem Red Sox game taking place on July 28 at LewisGale Field 1004 Texas St. Salem, Virginia.
