  • Maria Kanellis Trashes Nancy Grace, Talks Issues With Bella Twins & More

The following are highlights of a new interview with Maria Kanellis:

On Triple H: “Anybody that wants to say it is the Yes Movement better also remember who the boss is, and who’s the one making the decisions now. And I think that Triple H doesn’t necessarily get as much credit as he deserves, because he is the on building up that NXT, he’s the one that has made it a hub and place for wrestling to grow and get better and better.”

On CM Punk: “Punk came in, changed everybody’s mind. Then management started listening. Management went, ‘Oh, he know’s how to get over.’ Because he knows the people, because he’s been working in front of the people for 9 years now.”

On Squashing the Feud with the Bella Twins: “I actually and done with that part of my life. I talked to Nikki the other day. We’re cool. Like its funny, I don’t think I knew all the facts. I think people were telling me things that weren’t necessarily true. I wanted to be done with it. So, one day I just texted her and was like, ‘hey, I don’t know what happened, but I’m sorry.’ And she responded back and she’s like ‘I understand, you know things happen.’ She was super cool about it. And we’re done with that. Like, I’m an honest person, and when I find out I’m wrong, I’m wrong.”

On Being Stranded on the Side of the Road, and Being Rescued by the Hardy Boyz: “I got pulled over on the way to a show, and the guy took my car away from me (she did not realize she had a speeding ticket out that had not been paid). Here I was with my rental car and they took it away from me, they said I couldn’t drive. I was like ok, cool. The cop leaves me on the side of the road. Me, my two big bags, and my dog Gemini. Here I am on the side of the road. Here comes the Hardy Boyz! Flying down the highway. I get a phone call, ‘Maria, was that you on the side of the road?’ Yeah, it was me. Matt was on the phone. Matt’s like, ‘We’re coming to get ya!’ I’m like, ‘Ok good!’ Here comes Matt, picks me up, and we keep going. So, The Hardy’s are my angels.”

On Nancy Grace: “The Nancy Grace’s of the world are so behind of the times. Holy crap. And how can you be so disrespectful? I mean, how can you be so rude? Like, here this man comes on to talk about a friend, and then you’re going to do that to him? I mean she’s just an evil, evil woman.”

  • Sheamus Speaks On Nancy Grace Controversy, Working For Vince McMahon & More

The following are highlights of a new CBS Sports interview with Sheamus:

On locker room resentment from him being WWE Champion after five months on TV: “I really didn’t give a damn. I wasn’t a kid. I wasn’t there to make friends I was there to be successful.”

On WWE now compared to when he debuted: “I think the locker room is a lot better. There’s a lot more willingness to help everybody.”

On working for Vince McMahon: “Vince is really quiet. You’ll see him backstage and he’s quiet. He’s really focused on what he’s doing … He’s cool, always been cool with me I’ve never had a problem with him. Get along with him well and he’s a fair boss.”

On Nancy Grace: “You know, I’ve never been a fan of Nancy Grace. It’s not a talk show. It’s just her talking. I don’t even think she has a soul, to be honest with you … It’s garbage. Her show is garbage.”

  • Update On Nancy Grace Running Another Wrestling Segment On Her Show

As previously reported, Nancy Grace was scheduled to run another wrestling segment on CNN. The show, which was scheduled to feature indy wrestling star RJ Brewer, was postponed. It has not, however, been cancelled. Producers of the show informed Brewer that they would be in touch with him in the future regarding a new date.

Apparently the show wants to attempt to make ammends with the pro wrestling community due to all of the bad publicity they received over the way they handled the news of Ultimate Warrior’s passing.

  • DDP Calls Nancy Grace A “Bitch,” Says He’ll Never Do Her Show Again

The following are highlights of a new Undisputed Wrestling Show interview with Diamond Dallas Page:

On his recent appearance on Nancy Grace: “First of all, I wanted to leave. Oh my god, this woman was so nice to me when I walked in there. Once she started hitting me with that deal, I got scared. I go ‘Oh my god, she set me up, so should I get up and walk away? How is that going to make the business look?’ I breathed, I focused on breathing…The only thing I could think of at that time was that WWE has the best wellness program, better than the NBA, NFL, MLB, so I think that is fighting for the company. I thought about firing back at her, but it was a really weird situation. I can’t put that bitch over. I can’t talk about her anymore, I want to strangle her. The last thing I want to be is in that position. The way it was told to me is that I saw four questions. I said ‘I don’t know about this’ and Nancy Grace said ‘No, it’s gonna be a feel good piece.’ When I walked in there, she was so sweet to me. She totally set me up.”

On the graphic that aired during the show about wrestlers who died young: “I I never saw that! That totally blindsided me. I will never do that bitch’s show again, I can guarantee you that!”

  • Jim Ross Blog: Thoughts On Nancy Grace Segment, ESPN’s Colin Cowherd, More

The following are highlights from a new Jim Ross blog:

On the Nancy Grace segment on Ultimate Warrior: “The polarizing Nancy Grace of HLN really was made to look ill informed and poorly prepared by her staff Wednesday night on her report of the death of the Ultimate Warrior. So much erroneous info was reported as fact that I actually felt bad for her. I’d like to believe that Ms Grace is not a mean person but she let down by her producers and research people notwithstanding those who wrote her script for her teleprompter.”

“For Ms Grace to implicate Owen Hart into any drug or steroid scandal is egregious and appalling.”

On mainstream media coverage of pro wrestling: “Pro wresting/sports entertainment is given little credit by the mainstream news media and, as we have seen, seemingly the only time the genre is mentioned is when there is a tragedy. I never heard anyone talking about the economic impact that WrestleMania had on NOLA or the hundreds of Make A Wish interactions that are granted, the work WWE does with the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer organization, the support done in conjunction with the United States Armed Forces, among other great causes.”

“Good news isn’t news in today’s society or so it seems. That’s truly a damn shame.”

On ESPN’s Colin Cowherd: “Same goes for Colin Cowherd of ESPN who has had the basic same stance on pro wrestling since he became a shock jock-like TV character on ESPN. Cowherd plays the role of a broadcasting antagonist on television, IE a heel, and he can’t be positive about ‘rasslin’ or show compassion for a dead man’s family as it would apparently adversely affect his show biz persona.”

“Cowherd is a talented guy and likely a decent man but his pro wresting bias act is getting old and stale and comparing today’s product to the tragedies of a decade or two ago isn’t good journalism and make Cowherd look like he’s grasping for ratings with heat seeking remarks.”

  • DDP Issues Statement Regarding His Appearance On Nancy Grace

Diamond Dallas Page issued the following statement today regarding his appearance on the controversial Nancy Grace segment on The Ultimate Warrior last night.

“I went on Nancy Grace last night expecting to discuss Warrior the man. Had I known the only topic discussed would be steroids I would not have participated. At the time I was also unaware of the list that was shown to the viewing audience. To imply that all of the wrestlers on that list died from steroids was wrong and for that they owe the families an apology. Again, my only intention was to discuss Warrior the man and share some stories about how dedicated he was to the wrestling business. I am saddened that was not what happened and my thoughts remain with his family.
