RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss took to Twitter during last night’s SmackDown Live to mention that Liv Morgan was wearing a similar hairstyle to her’s. Bliss’ best-friend, Nia Jax, responded to Bliss’ Tweet and told Bliss to let Morgan ‘have the scraps.’ Morgan responded to Bliss by pointing out the differences between her hairstyle and “Little Miss Bliss’,” before responding to Jax’s ‘scraps’ comment.
Morgan said that Jax is actually after her scraps. For those of you who don’t know, Enzo Amore and Morgan dated each other during their days in NXT. The couple split last September after Morgan noted that she’s now single and removed all pictures of Amore from her social media. Amore and Jax are now involved in a romantic storyline on Monday Night RAW.

WWE NXT posted a video of Dakota Kai getting interviewed in which she’s discussing Baszler’s NXT debut tomorrow, before the camera catches Baszler interrupting yet another training session. – This week’s WWE RAW saw Paige wrestle her first match in more than a year, picking up a win over Sasha Banks. Paige’s last official match came during the July 27th, 2016 RAW episode. She teamed with Sasha to defeat Dana Brooke & Charlotte Flair that night. This week’s RAW also saw more dominance from Paige’s new “Absolution” stable with Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. They once again took out Banks, Bayley and Mickie James and later surrounded Asuka in the ring but The Empress of Tomorrow left before anything could happen, like last week.
– The dark main event after this week’s RAW in Los Angeles at the Staples Center saw WWE Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose defeat Samoa Joe and RAW Tag Team Champions The Bar. Hank Guthrie sent word that The Shield called Joe, Sheamus and Cesaro back to the ring after they retreated through the crowd as RAW went off the air. For those who missed it, the RAW main event saw Joe help The Bar retain the RAW Tag Team Titles over Rollins and Ambrose.
– It looks like WWE is beginning a new storyline with Nia Jax and WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore. This week’s RAW featured Nia flirting with Enzo and asking “how YOU doin’?” after Enzo ended a backstage segment with The Zo Train. You can see video of the segment below:
Nia Jax continues to speak out against body shaming and implies that women in the WWE locker room are guilty of the unfortunate behavior.
Nia tweeted a video of her running on a treadmill and said even though body shaming is wrong, she has accepted the fact that certain people will still attempt to make her feel bad for being a larger woman. She loves her body type, but shed some light on what she has to deal with from some of her peers in WWE.
“It sucks when you get it in your own backyard around people you’re changing in front of and trust with your body,” she said.

During an interview with The Mirror, Nia Jax commented on her recent hiatus from WWE. There was rampant speculation online that Nia was unhappy with her pay and booking, but Nia says it was nothing more than WWE cycling the talent they use on live events.
“Well actually I had live events off for the last couple of weeks because that’s just how it worked out, for cycling and stuff, so I got a little rest from TV because I wasn’t in anything storyline-wise, so I had a little rest there. But yeah, it’s been great. I love what we do, I love the storytelling, especially being such a different character and obviously a different size than everybody, we get to play on that and it’s always cool to see where we can go in the ring.”
She also commented on joining the cast of Total Divas and reveals that we’ll see a softer, more vulnerable side compared to what fans are used to seeing from her TV character.
“Yes, definitely. They will definitely see something completely different. On Raw I’m the big mean girl who goes and beats everybody up, on Total Divas they will see a softer vulnerable side of me that definitely isn’t see on Raw. And some very goofy stuff between Alexa and I. Team Rude is definitely in full effect.”

– According to Pwinsider, the original plans for this week’s episode of Raw was for Bayley to face Alicia Fox. However, the plans were changed later in the day and as seen last night, Bayley ended up facing a returning Nia Jax on the show instead.

– Nia Jax and Bo Dallas both returned to WWE TV on tonight’s RAW from Baltimore. Dallas had been away due to the illness going around the locker room while Nia had taken a few weeks off, reportedly due to her being unhappy with her status in the company. It was also reported that Nia was taking a few weeks off to rest up while she wasn’t being booked in any of the top storylines. Ring announcer JoJo, who was also out due to the illness, returned tonight as well. Bo appeared in a backstage segment with Curtis Axel, WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz and RAW General Manager Kurt Angle while Nia defeated Bayley. Bayley was set to face RAW Team Captain Alicia Fox but Fox revealed her replacement to be Nia. Fox later added Nia to the women’s team at Survivor Series.

Two WWE Superstars who have been off television are reportedly in Baltimore, MD for tonight’s RAW from the Royal Farms Arena. According to reports at PWInsider, both Samoa Joe and Nia Jax could be returning as soon as tonight.
Samoa Joe has been out of action since late August. During his time away, Joe underwent surgeries on his knee to repair a nagging injury and his nose, which had been broken several times and was affecting his breathing.
Nia Jax has been on the sidelines for approximately two weeks. There have been conflicting reports surrounding the nature of her hiatus, but on Sunday she retweeted a message stating that she’d be returning to RAW tonight and was dealing with a nagging back injury.
Both are expected to be added to RAW’s Men’s and Women’s traditional Survivor Series teams.

Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated has provided an update on Nia Jax taking a leave of absence from WWE. Initially, there was speculation that Jax was unhappy with her booking and looking for more money from WWE.
On Wednesday, Barrasso wrote that Nia Jax asked for time off upon learning that she’d be losing clean to Sasha Banks at this past weekend’s TLC pay-per-view – and her cousin The Rock was on board with the decision:
“The reason behind Nia Jax’s much-discussed ‘leave of absence’ has been uncovered, as Sports Illustrated learned that Jax balked at the idea of losing clean to Sasha Banks at TLC. She called her cousin, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, to ask for his advice, and Johnson encouraged her to walk away if she was unhappy.”
Several WWE personalities have commented on Nia Jax’s leave of absence, including Kurt Angle and Alexa Bliss. Both said they expect Nia back in action soon, with Alexa Bliss talking about the rigors of WWE’s travel schedule and stating that everybody needs a break once in a while.
Dave Meltzer of f4wonline.com noted that speculation regarding the Nia Jax situation has gotten out of hand and she’s expected back for WWE’s upcoming European tour, which kicks off on November 1st from Glasgow, Scotland.

Nia Jax is expected back on the road with WWE for the company’s upcoming European tour, which kicks off on November 1st from Glasgow, Scotland.
According to an update from Dave Meltzer, she is taking time off to rest since she is not part of any major storylines. He said the report by Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated claiming Nia Jax was upset with her pay was untrue.
On Thursday, The New York Post published an interview with Alexa Bliss, who said Nia Jax will “absolutely” be back and spoke in-depth about the demands of WWE’s travel schedule. You can check out here comments below:
RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss spoke to the New York Post this week about Nia Jax taking time off from WWE. Amid reports that Jax has been frustrated with her character’s booking and financial compensation, Bliss says she’s spoken to Nia about her situation at length and cited WWE’s demanding schedule as a possible reason for her absence.
“We have talked about it a lot,” said Bliss. “Whatever she is going through, I wouldn’t necessarily call it a leave of absence. She’s taking some time off because our schedule it very grueling.”
She continued, “It’s very, very demanding. There are times where you are run down and your body can’t do it anymore and you get sick or you get injured from it and you get tired.”
Bliss acknowledged that the constant travel takes a toll on everyone and understands the burnout factor. Sticking with the narrative that Nia Jax’s leave of absence is related to simply ‘needing a break,’ she said,
“So, I feel like everyone needs a reset every once in a while. In NXT I took a few resets and it was never like public knowledge, but we all need them. We all take them once in a while. I am happy when she comes back. I feel like everyone needs that refresher week or refresher moment.”
As for Nia Jax’s future with WWE, Alexa Bliss is convinced everything will be resolved. “Absolutely, no doubt in my mind.”
Earlier this week, RAW Superstar Nia Jax has taken a leave of absence from WWE. There were conflicting reports about whether she walked out due to unhappiness about her role in the company or if it was for unrelated ‘personal reasons.’
To update her situation, multiple reports have since confirmed Nia Jax has been frustrated with several things. Bryan Alvarez noted on Wednesday’s Wrestling Observer Live that she wanted the high-profile spot of being Asuka’s first main roster opponent at Sunday’s TLC pay-per-view. That spot ultimately went to Emma.
Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated also noted that Nia Jax was also dissatisfied with the money is she is making. As a close relative of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and with her past work as a model, the belief is that she has more options (and thus, leverage) than most. Former WWE Superstar Eva Marie has signed on with The Rock’s 7 Bucks production company, the same group developing the movie about Paige’s family.

Nia Jax is taking time off from WWE. Earlier this week, Twitter user @WrestleVotes posted a series of tweets stating that Jax was “upset backstage at RAW and possibly walked out.”
The account later walked back that claim, but she is taking a break from WWE for undisclosed reasons.
WWE sources are denying she quit the company but she was originally scheduled for Monday’s RAW and at one point was booked to face Sasha Banks and TLC before being replaced by Alicia Fox.
Nia Jax was scheduled to be in New York City this week to film scenes for Total Divas, but according to a member of the production crew, she won’t be participating.
The news comes just a week after former Cruiserweight champion Neville’s frustrations with WWE came to a head he took an indefinite leave of absence from the company.
We’ll provide an update on the Nia Jax situation when more information is available.

WWE RAW General Manager Kurt Angle has responded to a fan on Twitter asking why Nia Jax is the only female Superstar to have her weight announced during her ring entrance.
WWE No Mercy 2017 aired last night from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Brock Lesnar defended his Universal Championship against Braun Strowman in the main event. In a match many thought was reserved for WrestleMania, John Cena faced Roman Reigns for the very first time. Here are my five takeawys from last night’s PPV:
Cesaro Is Tough As Hell
Cesaro and Sheamus faced Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins last night at No Mercy for the RAW Tag Team Championships. During the match, Dean Ambrose catapulted Cesaro into the ring post. Cesaro smashed face-first into the post and completely messed up his front teeth. Cesaro got medical attention next to the ring but was back on the ring apron awaiting a tag only a minute later. Cesaro is one of the most talented performers on WWE’s roster and is a true professional. He went on to finish the remaining 10+ minutes of the match. Sheamus & Cesaro fell short at No Mercy, but their match with Ambrose and Rollins stole the show.
Nia Jax Is Ready To Become Champion
Alexa Bliss defended her RAW Women’s Championship in a Fatal 5-Way against Bayley, Emma, Sasha Banks and Nia Jax. Alexa Bliss won the match and retained her title, but Nia Jax was the best part of this match. She showed off her strength by hitting a Samoan Drop on Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss at the same time. Jax got Powerbombed off the ring apron and crashed to the floor. It was announced that Asuka is making her debut on the RAW roster at WWE TLC 2017 on October 22nd. Asuka and Nia Jax have battled down in NXT, but Nia has improved a ton since then. I can’t wait to see the two battle again on the main roster and hopefully for the RAW Women’s Championship.
The Cruiserweight Division Doesn’t Matter

Enzo Amore defeated Neville last night at WWE No Mercy to become the new Cruiserweight Champion. He won the match after hitting a low-blow on Neville and then rolling him up for the pinfall. The match was astonishingly bad and when the crowd decided to make noise, they chanted “boring!”.
Neville destroyed the entire Cruiserweight Division but was made to look like an idiot last night at No Mercy. He had the match won numerous times, but ultimately decided to not go for the Red Arrow because the crowd cheered as he climbed the turnbuckle. It wound up costing him and he lost the much.
Enzo Amore is sometimes funny while cutting promos. He is never going to be good in the ring. WWE failed to build up anyone else on the 205 Live roster. Quite literally every single one of them is a better wrestler than Enzo Amore. However, thanks to WWE’s failures to build anyone up, Enzo Amore is now the Cruiserweight Champion. How is 205 Live doin? Not too good.
Braun Strowman’s Future Is Still Bright

Brock Lesnar defeated Braun Strowman last night in the main event of WWE No Mercy. The match was hyped up well for the past few weeks on RAW, but it wound up being just a decent match. Strowman had shown that he could dominate Lesnar on RAW recently and when he slammed him through two announce tables at SummerSlam. Even though Strowman lost tonight, it remains clear to me that Strowman is going to be integral part of WWE’s future.
I think he is already at the point where he should regularly be in the main event of WWE PPVs. While WWE might have other plans for now, there is no denying that Strowman has become a household name. Strowman lost tonight but he’ll be right back in the hunt for the Universal Championship in no time.
Roman Reigns Is The Guy

Whether you like it or not, Roman Reigns is “the guy” in WWE. I’m not a big fan of it myself, but it obvious that WWE is not going to shy away from pushing Roman Reigns at all costs. He defeated John Cena last night at No Mercy in a match that I thought would have been saved for WrestleMania. Cena raised Roman Reigns’ hand after the match and then went on RAW Talk and praised him some more.
Cena said that a burden was taken off his shoulders after his loss to Reigns. Cena also stated that Roman Reigns proved to him that he was in fact “the guy” over the past month leading up to last night’s match. Cena even became emotional during his appearance on RAW Talk and last night’s match clearly showed that Roman Reigns is without a doubt the top guy in WWE. He is the Big Dog and WWE appears to be his yard going forward for a long time.
Tonight on RAW, Bayley made her return to the ring in her hometown of San Jose. Bayley came down to the ring after the match between Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss. Nia won the match, but Sasha Banks attacked her after the victory. Nia slammed Sasha to the mat and Bayley came down to the ring for the save.
Bayley, Sasha and Alexa Bliss then teamed up for a moment to knock Nia out of the ring. Sasha and Bayley started to celebrate and Alexa tried to join in on the fun. That didn’t go too well for the RAW Women’s Champion, as Sasha kneed her in the face and Bayley then planted her with a Bayley to Belly Suplex. Sasha and Bayley then celebrated in the ring.
It was then announced that Bayley will join the RAW Women’s Championship match at No Mercy. Alexa Bliss will now defend her title against Bayley, Sasha Banks, Nia Jax and Emma in a Fatal 5-Way match this Sunday.
– During a segment that saw Alexa and Nia reacting to the news that Asuka is coming to RAW, Alexa apologized to Nia for slapping her last week and asked if they could go back to being best friends. Nia said she might not want to be her friend after knowing that she spoke to Kurt Angle and set up a match between them next week on RAW.
– During a commercial break at Monday’s WWE RAW, Nikki Bella made a surprise appearance with her Dancing With The Stars dance partner Artem Chigvintsev. Season 25 of DWTS premieres next Monday, September 18th and will air head-to-head each week against RAW.
Nia Jax walked the runaway at theCurvyCon fashion show yesterday in New York City.
Earlier this week, Nia sent out an Instagram photo announcing that she will be part of the event. In the caption, Nia said “I am beyond pumped, stoked, excited and HONORED to share that I will be participating in this amazingly empowering event….Being a proud & confident Curvy woman, I cannot wait to strut my stuff in their fashion show and mingle with some incredibly influential #BodyPositive People! I will be sharing my whole journey, stay tuned!”

WWE superstar Emma recently spoke to Newshub on her use of social media and how it helps her ‘stand out’ in WWE, her #GiveEmmaAChance campaign has been gaining traction over the last few months.
It seems as though Emma’s attempts to get more screen time has drawn the ire of Nia Jax, she recently replied to a tweet Emma sent regarding the RAW Women’s Championship bout at No Mercy blasting her short lived ‘Emmalina’ persona:

Monday Night RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss recently joined former WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia’s podcast, Chasing Glory, to talk about her run through WWE. Bliss discussed her journey through WWE, how much of a challenge it was to be accepted as a wrestler, learning how to cut a promo, and her friendship with Nia Jax. Her journey in WWE:
“My trainer, Mike at the time had told me that he had heard that WWE was having tryouts and so I went online on WWE.com and there was actually a link and it was like, ‘Do you want to be a WWE Superstar?’ I was like ‘Yes I do!’ So I clicked on it and it had all these instructions, it was like, ‘Make a video, do this, do that, send in the video.’ I made a video trying to cut a promo, you know just trying be as Diva as I could I guess. I sent it in and didn’t think anything would come of it and I got a call from Canyon saying, ‘Hey, we’re actually having a casting call in LA and we’re going to send you out there for a day and like, see how that goes.’
“Went to the casting call, I walked in and Triple H was in there and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, you’re Triple H!’ Like I totally had that fangirl moment, cause you know watching it and then seeing somebody for the first time and you’re just like, ‘Oh my gosh that’s so cool!’ So I just started talking and talking and talking about like these just terrible wrestling ideas I had. I was like, ‘I want to be like The Great Kabuki, but with the Green Mist I want to blow glitter-I want to spit glitter out!’ Just like all these kinds of things and I’m sure he thought it was a terrible idea.”
“And then I was told I made the thirty day trial after that which was you get in the ring for thirty days and you know, just learn as much as you can and they pick you from there. I got a call on the flight home saying I made it to the thirty day trial. I was super stoked and then I got a call a week later saying that I wasn’t going to the thirty day trial and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh!’ Canyon was like, ‘We’re going to sign you. You’re going to move to Florida if you pass medical. Let’s just hope you’re as athletic as you look.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, no pressure.’ So it was basically WWE just kind of taking a chance on me, you know what I mean? Just giving me a chance and I knew I had to run with it as much as I could.”
Being accepted as a wrestler:
“I didn’t wrestle before coming here. There’s a respect thing here, you know what I mean? This whole business is based on respect and because I wasn’t wrestling in the indies beforehand, it was very hard to be accepted. It was very very hard because it’s a whole culture here, you know what I mean? You have to learn and it wasn’t the fact that anyone was telling me what to do, it was I had to learn by messing up. And so because I didn’t know these girls, I didn’t know these ways, you know it was very hard to adapt, it was very difficult and I was very lonely for a really long time.
“Coming into NXT, Charlotte took me under her wing immediately and saw you know, how I wasn’t being accepted because of my background, they just saw me as another fitness model coming in and I had never done fitness modeling and it irked me so bad anytime anyone would call me a fitness model, you know what I mean? These girls were so good and they already knew, you know the fundamentals, they knew the psychology, they knew everything that I had just come into this, you know what I mean? And one of the people that helped me a lot through that too was Shaul Guerrero. I became really close with Shaul in NXT and she always had my back for everything and she would help me as much as she could, Charlotte helped me as much as she could and they became my really good friends from that. It was super helpful because you know I had been in a locker room with girls my entire life, but when you go somewhere that you’re not used to, it’s kind of like a little bit of a culture shock.”
Learning to cut a promo:
“My mom helped me a lot. We’d have promo classes in NXT once a week and me and my mom would make it our thing to come up with a promo and it would be fun. So I was always doing these promos in front of my mom and she’d be like, ‘Hmm, that didn’t sound very convincing.’ She would just be like honest, you know what I mean? It was just like in cheer when I would have a routine, she would be like, ‘Stop, start over again, stop, start over again.’ So it’s kind of like the same kind of thing with promos and then we had Dusty (Rhodes) as a promo coach who was amazing. He was brilliant at everything he did. I started getting comfortable in promos when I was partnered with Scott Dawson in NXT. It never debuted on TV, but I was playing his girlfriend in promo classes for like a few months and that’s what really kind of got me comfortable with promos because I was out of the box, I was reenacting, I was reacting off of people, you know?
“When I joined Blake and Murphy, that’s when i was able to really hone in my character as to who Alexa Bliss is because I didn’t have to be in the ring and try to portray a character at the same time and worry about a match and this that and the other. But the fact that I was able to be a valet and to establish a character, work on characters, work on promos, and it helped so much, especially since we were all three really close-me, Blake, and Murphy. I was dating Murphy at the time and it was just like hanging out with friends and being able to do promos and work with people who are just your friends makes it so much easier and I think that’s kind of evolved into what I think about now in promos is like what we said, ‘You don’t just say things, you feel them.’ I’m that psycho person backstage, every promo I still have, even if it’s just two sentences or three pages, I’m backstage, I’m talking to myself, I’m pacing and just saying each thing, dissecting it, being like, ‘Okay now how would I really feel if I just said that?’ And then I say it to myself a couple of times, ‘No that doesn’t sound right.’ And I say it and I’m like, ‘Okay, that’s what clicks. Thats what how I feel.'”
Her friendship with Nia Jax:
“She’s very loud, I’m very quiet. We balance each other out like crazy. We’ll call each other out on crap all the time, we’ll joke around nonstop. I’ve always been friends with people like Nia, I’ve always been. I love Nia, she is amazing. She’s outgoing, she’s funny, we joke around all the time, we quote Bridesmaids like its going out of style, it’s the best! We’re always making each other laugh. Like when one of us is stressed, we always try to bring the other one up, you know? We sing songs on the top of our lungs on car rides. I’m pretty sure we’re the first like real best friends that have ever been on it (Total Divas) so I think that will be very interesting.
“When NXT has tryouts, they have some of the talent to come and help and like work the tryout, tell people where to roll, where to do this, basically boss everyone around. I worked Nia’s tryout and so I remember I was doing cardio while they were having a lunch break and she comes up and she starts talking to me like she knew me forever, like she’s never met a stranger in her life! And I was like, ‘Oh, hello!’ And then we’ve just become really close after that and became best friends shortly after.”
