Mick Foley’s daughter, Noelle Foley was at one point training to be a wrestler and she even had a tryout with WWE in 2016 but her wrestling career never picked up.
During the tryout, Noelle was also subject to a WWE Network reality show dubbed Holy Foley! The show followed the WWE Hall Of Famer and his family and according to Noelle, the whole experience made her tryout even more stressful.
She recently had an interview with WrestlingInc, where Foley talked about her WWE tryouts in 2016 and she called her experience of training for a wrestling career while also filming ‘nerve-racking’:
“Filming while training was incredible nerve-racking,
it’s like you’re just learning but then you have all these eyes on you, and
cameras, and trainers, even when I had my tryout, I looked out of the corner of
my eye and I see Triple H, and I’m like, ‘Oh my goodness.’
Though continuing on the topic, Noelle Foley said that the whole thing was a bit overwhelming at times but it’s also cool to look back now and realize that she actually did those things.
Unfortunately, after the tryout, Foley decided not to pursue a career in wrestling anymore and in a separate interview, Mick Foley had revealed that she decided to stop after suffering some serious injuries.
Mick Foley recently spoke with Wrestling Inc to talk about a wide range of topics including his daughter, Noelle, expressing interest in becoming a women’s Superstar in the WWE. During the first season of Holy Foley, there was even footage of her training for it. However, he talked about why Noelle stopped pursuing an in-ring career in this interview. “No, she got banged up quite a bit,” Foley said. “Injured, not just banged up but injured.”
The first season “Holy Foley,” which featured Foley, his daughter Noelle and the rest of the family, aired on the WWE Network in 2016 and lasted for ten episodes. Foley made it known that although his family enjoyed doing the show, it was expensive for the WWE compared to their other shows such as Ride Along.
The WWE Hall of Famer continued by stating that he feels if the show was on either the USA or E! Networks then it would have been a better home because you could have a big budget for it and found fans who are not WWE loyalists. “I was glad they took a chance on it. We really enjoyed those 10 weeks together… and to get paid. But it just didn’t work out. It was the highest-rated show [on WWE Network] of all-time for a little while, but there’s only so many times people can watch 10 episodes over and over and over.”
Noelle Foley, WWE daughter of WWE legend Mick Foley, is hoping to land a spot in Sports Illustrated’s coveted ‘Swimsuit’ issue.
SI is running a contest on Instagram where women can use the hashtag #SISwimSearch and submit their ‘audition’ video in hopes of appearing in the magazine.
Noelle Foley’s audition video can be seen below. She posted an inspiring message with her submission talking about her struggle with attempting to break into the modeling industry.
“I’ve always wondered if I had what it takes to be in the pages of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit magazines so I’m shooting my shot,” Foley wrote.
“Over the years I’ve been denied hundreds of times by agencies across the US because I’m too big to be a typical model and too small to be a plus sized model. I want to help break that barrier in between that size gap and and show that every body type is beautiful. I would LOVE to be apart of the movement and continue to spread this amazing message around the world!!!”
Irish promotion Over The Top Wrestling (OTT) hosted their ‘Wrestlerama’ event this past weekend to a huge crowd in Belfast’s Mandela Hall.
Mick Foley appeared as part of the event as a special guest and he got involved in an angle with controversial performer Joey Ryan. Foley attempted to use Mr Socko on Ryan but it was blocked and reversed into Ryan’s ‘signature’ manoeuvre…have a look at the tweet below for the full video

Mick Foley appeared on Lillian Garcia’s podcast yesterday. During the course of his interview he revealed that he doesn’t believe Holy Foley will be returning for a second season the WWE Network.
Notes from the show:
Foley claims he is the first person to ever be put on Chris Jericho’s “list”. According to Foley, Jericho was annoyed with him back in catering and Jericho grabbed a notebook away from someone and made Foley the inaugural person on his list. Foley would also say that he told everyone Jericho would get that over in 3 weeks.
Foley would also say that he is given creative control with his character, and that WWE has been very good in that regards.
He mentioned that he pushed for James Ellesworth to be signed, saying he would be perfect for television. He also noted that Ellesworth bought him a tie.
Additionally he said that he makes less money working for WWE than he would if he was doing his one-man shows or taking other bookings. He believes it is an important job however, and is given a chance to have his creative input into the direction of the show.
On Holy Foley: “Personally I don’t think there will be a season 2”. Foley noted the show is expensive to make.

Produced by Trooper Entertainment in association with Lionsgate, Holy Foley will offer “a comedic, behind-the-scenes look into the life of WWE Hall of Famer, husband and father Mick Foley and his unique relationship with his daughter Noelle.”
The 10-episode, 30-minute family reality series is slated to premiere in August 2016.

Show Synopsis:
“At the Foley household on suburban Long Island, Mick Foley simply sees himself as a stand-up comedian and Santa-loving dad to his family of five, including wife Colette, sons Dewey, Mickey and Hughie, and daughter Noelle, with whom he shares a picture-perfect, father-daughter relationship.
However, unbeknownst to Mick, Noelle has decided she wants to follow in her father’s footsteps, and has been secretly training to join WWE. Just when Mick thought he was out of the ring, Noelle is leading the charge to pull him back in.
