The WWE NXT Tag Team Titles are no longer vacant as new champions have been crowned.
At the WWE NXT TakeOver: XXV event in Bridgeport, CT at the Webster Bank Arena, Street Profits beat The Forgotten Sons, Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch, and Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish to win the titles in a Fatal 4-Way Ladder Match.
The Viking Raiders, who were the champions, was called up to the main roster during the Superstar Shake-Up and placed on the Monday Night RAW roster. Thus, the reason that the titles were vacated.
WWE had originally planned for this show to be held on June 8 in San Jose, California. Things had to be moved around as the company had to change plans as they will hold a show in Saudi Arabia on June 7.
WWE holds NXT TV tapings on Wednesday, June 12th in Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University where WWE will have the fallout from this event as well as this match. They put on one heck of a match that delivered.

The company has yet to officially announce the main event of this event that takes place at the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, CT and will air on the WWE Network. There is speculation that this special will be headlined by NXT Champion Johnny Gargano vs. Adam Cole
This show marks the third special for the yellow brand in 2019, which features a stacked lineup. There are a total of five matches booked for this show with four of them being championship matches.

With only a couple of days remaining before the milestone NXT TakeOver event, the folks at Sky Bet have released their latest betting odds for all five matches on the card.
Currently, Johnny Gargano is the 4/7 betting favorite to retain the NXT Championship in his rematch against Adam Cole in the main event. On the flip side of the coin, Cole is a slight 5/4 betting underdog.
In the co-main event of the show, Shayna Baszler is currently the 4/6 favorite to retain her NXT Women’s Championship. Not at all too far behind “The Queen of Spades” from a betting standpoint is Shirai as the narrow underdog at 11/10.
The Undisputed Era (Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish) are currently the 7/4 favorites to win the Ladder Match for the vacant NXT Tag-Team Championships. The Street Profits are the second favorites at 9/4, followed by The Forgotten Sons at 11/4. The team of Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch are the clear-cut betting underdogs at 11/2.
For the NXT North American Championship, Velveteen Dream is the 1/4 favorite to retain his title against former WWE main roster Superstar Tyler Breeze. Meanwhile, Breeze is the 11/4 underdog.

On Friday, Triple H took to his official Twitter account where he announced the top matches for the show. This was done to promote the fact that the tickets are officially on sale for the event today.
Adam Cole vs. NXT Champion Johnny Gargano and Io Shirai vs. NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler have been set for Takeover.
