NXT on the USA Network averaged 792,000 viewers, up last week’s 786,000. In the 18-49 demo, they drew a 0.22 rating, up from 0.19 last week.

The episode featured Mia Yim vs. Tegan Nox vs. Candice LeRae vs. Dakota Kai in a Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match, Dexter Lumis vs. Roderick Strong in a strap match, Sasha Banks vs. Io Shirai in a non-title match, Rhea Ripley vs. Aliyah and Robert Stone, and Oney Lorcan vs. Timothy Thatcher.

AEW Dynamite featured matches such as Cody Rhodes vs. Wardlow in the first-ever Steel Cage Match in AEW history, Jeff Cobb vs. Jon Moxley, #1 Contenders’ Tag Team Battle Royal, and AEW World Team Champions Kenny Omega and Hangman Page vs. The Luca Bros.

Next week’s battle will be very interesting to see which show wins the ratings battle as AEW edges closer to Revolution.

WWE NXT TV Viewership (12/25)

Viewership data is in for this week’s edition of WWE NXT, which didn’t have its usual ratings war with All Elite Wrestling. 

Wednesday’s edition of WWE NXT averaged 831,000 viewers, which is up from the 795,000 viewers that the show drew last week that served as the final live episode of the year on the USA Network, according to ShowbuzzDaily. 

The show did a 0.22 rating n the 18-49 demo, down from the 0.27 rating the week prior. In the female viewers 18-49, it did 0.16 while the show did 0.28 in the male viewers.

Other WWE NXT Viewership Numbers

  • Female viewers 12-34: 0.11
  • Male viewers 12-34: 0.19
  • Viewers 25-54: 0.24

WWE will attempt to increase the WWE NXT viewership with next week’s episode, which should be interesting to see what number it pulls in.

The January 1st episode will feature the reveal of the Year-End Awards for the NXT brand. It will be a taped show. On the flip side, AEW Dynamite on TNT has a stacked show that WWE will have to compete with. 

NXT returns to its normal program on the January 8th episode and the battle with All Elite Wrestling will resume.
