Over The Top (OTT) Wrestling has released the final hype package for this Saturday’s ScrapperMania 5 event. The main event of the show will see WALTER defend his OTT World Championship against fellow NXT UK Superstar Jordan Devlin.
Over the past few months the independent company has been releasing some incredible video packages to hype their events. At the recent Homecoming event Devlin defeated David Starr to earn the Number 1 contendership and face WALTER at ScrapperMania. The video released for that show caught the attention of many in the industry. This latest package is just as breathtaking in scope.
WALTER is arguably the biggest star on the UK/European scene right now. Devlin has been rising through the ranks with his ‘Import Killer’ persona and is a firm favourite in his native country of Ireland.

British Strong Style consists of WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate and Trent Seven. The trio are three of the top stars of the NXT UK division. With OTT being one of the ‘greenlit’ promotions for NXT UK Superstars BSS are likely to still perform for the company going forward. OTT are the biggest promotion in Ireland, their hype videos for their events are critically acclaimed and they’re quickly being regarded as one of the best promotions in Europe.

Over The Top (OTT) Wrestling has announced a big time main event for their February Homecoming show. The event will be taking place on 02/17 from the National Basketball Arena in Dublin, Ireland.
OTT Champion WALTER will be taking on former WWE Superstar PAC. Interestingly WALTER has been confirmed as a new WWE signee, yet he will be performing against a non-NXT UK performer.
The recent situation surrounding the NXT UK contracts has been baffling. It has been rumored that NXT UK Superstars would not be able to perform for companies outside of the ‘WWE Bubble’ and that they could only face other NXT UK contracted talent. This was apparently meant to come into play as of January 1st.
OTT were originally being touted as one of the companies in WWE’s ‘greenlit’ list. With WALTER being OTT Champion he is of course a featured star and the company wouldn’t want to lose his box office appeal. This match against PAC however is very, very interesting…
With a WWE ‘signed’ performer facing someone the likes of PAC (who left the company on bad terms reportedly) how will that affect other matches on the UK and Irish scene? Will Ospreay has been very vocal about his dislike of the ‘NXT UK vs NXT UK only’ stipulation. The UK scene has taken a hit recently and this may be detrimental, but with this huge match being announced maybe the rule has been changed?
Alternatively, WALTER has not been signed to WWE. We can’t confirm at this time either way.
NJPW Star Will Ospreay has been announced for a big international bout in November. The former Best of The Super Juniors winner will be heading to the OTT promotion in Ireland on November 10th. OTT confirmed that Ospreay would be part of a tag team bout alongside NXT UK star Jordan Devlin to take on WALTER and Timothy Thatcher of Ringkampf.
Ospreay was initially injured in a bout for Rev Pro. Fans in attendance initially reported that Ospreay appeared to have landed on his neck after a missed Pele kick. This led to a hastily improvised finish soon after, with Chris Ridgeway picking up the victory over the Aerial Assassin. Since then, speculation has indicated it could be a potential intercostal/rib injury.
We recently reported that Ospreay had been pulled from a bout against Cody Rhodes in December. This would’ve been for the debuting Fight Forever promotion in the United Kingdom. Fight Forever sent out the following message earlier this week:
“Some unfortunate news. @WillOspreay has suffered an injury and will not be able to compete at Phenomena on Dec 6th. Let’s band together to send Will our best wishes, and hope he takes the time to rest up and recover. We will soon be announcing a new opponent for @CodyRhodes.”
Ospreay was also recently pulled from the New Japan Road to Power Struggle tour. Ospreay was expected to take part in a NEVER Openweight Championship match against Taichi. The ‘Aerial Assassin’ took a pinfall win over the NEVER Champion and thus gained a future bout for the belt.

Over The Top (OTT) Wrestling has announced the first three bouts for their upcoming WrestleRama 2 event. The show takes place Saturday August 18th from The Arena in Suir Road Dublin, Ireland.
Arguably the biggest announcement sees one of New Japan Pro Wrestling’s best Junior Division talents KUSHIDA make his debut in Ireland against MLW Champion Shane Strickland. The other two announced bouts at this time see Ringkampf stable member Timothy Thatcher face ‘The Cream in Your Coffee’ David Starr and New Japan Pro Wrestling legend and holder of the Revolution Pro Wrestling British Heavyweight Championship Tomohiro Ishii challenge former UFC fighter and PROGRESS ATLAS Champion Matt Riddle.
Other names already confirmed for the event on August 18th include WWE linked star WALTER, WWE UK Superstar Jordan Devlin, ‘Session Moth’ Martina and Mark Haskins.
Tickets for the show will be available to purchase as of Friday June 15th, information can be found via the tweet below.
Over The Top (OTT) Wrestling has announced the main event for their upcoming ‘A Haven for Monsters’ show on June 2nd from the Tivoli Theatre? in Dublin, Ireland. This will be the first big event the company has held since their mega-show Scrappermania IV which took place this past weekend from the National Stadium in Dublin. The main event of ‘…Haven’ will see WWE linked star and former wXw Unified World Champion WALTER teaming with international veteran Low Ki to challenge WWE UK’s Jordan Devlin and fast rising independent competitor David Starr.
In another blockbuster announcement WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne will taking part in a match on the card, his British Strong Style stablemate Trent Seven has already been confirmed for a shot at the Gender Neutral Championship however Dunne’s match has not yet been revealed.
Tickets for the show can be purchased now via Eventbrite.
WWE United Kingdom roster member and former PROGRESS Wrestling Tag Team Champion Trent Seven will be challenging for the Over The Top (OTT) Wrestling Gender Neutral Championship this June.
The Moustache Mountain and British Strong Style stable member will be heading to Ireland’s Tivoli Theatre on June 2nd to face current reigning Champion LJ Cleary as well as Pro Wrestling: EVE’s Kris Wolf.
Seven is not the first WWE UK contracted performer to be linked to the newly established title…WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne was also locked in to challenge for the belt against then Champion ‘Session Moth’ Martina before a snowstorm across the UK cancelled OTT’s event that evening.
Whilst Seven is the veteran of this bout and the most well established internationally it is unlikely that the company will be taking the title off of LJ Cleary right now, his win against ‘Session Moth’ before her move to Japan’s Stardom promotion appeared to be the catalyst for a big run for the young star and looks set to continue over the next few months.
Irish and UK based promotion Over The Top (OTT) Wrestling has announced the main event for their stacked Scrappermania IV card that takes place on May 12th from the National Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.
The OTT Heavyweight Champion and member of the WWE United Kingdom roster Jordan Devlin will be putting his title on the line against New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Zack Sabre Jr. Whilst ZSJ is predominately known for this appearances across the UK scene his recent run in NJPW and bout for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship has pushed him into another tier of superstar, garnering him worldwide acclaim. Devlin, who was trained in Ireland by mentor and former WWE Universal Champion Finn Balor was one of the featured stars in the WWE United Kingdom Championship tournament. He is expected to return to the roster when the WWE returns to the UK in December this year.
Here’s the announced matches for May 12th:
Jeff Cobb vs. Tomohiro Ishii
Keith Lee vs. Minoru Suzuki
Matt Riddle vs. Will Ospreay
Charlie Sterling & Zack Gibson (c) vs. The Angel Cruzers (Angel Cruz & B. Cool)
Over The Top Wrestling (OTT) has announced the latest match for their upcoming Scrappermania show on May 12th. The already announced card features some absolute world beater matches in the form of IWGP Intercontinental Champion Minoru Suzuki taking on WWN World Champion Keith Lee and Tomohiro Ishii going one-on-one with Jeff Cobb…but this bout may well top even those.
IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay will be taking on the ‘King of Bros’ Matt Riddle. Both men are still extremely young but have to be considered veterans of the independent scene at this point, Ospreay especially has been stealing shows across the world with his performances in PROGRESS & Rev Pro, in Australia and New Zealand and of course his recent NJPW matches alongside the likes of Kazuchika Okada. This could easily make MOTY lists come December and can be found on OTT’s On Demand service soon after the fact.
The following talents have also been confirmed for the mega show on May 12th:
Due to the weather conditions currently plaguing travel across the UK and Ireland OTT Wrestling have had to unfortunately cancel an event that would’ve seen WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne challenge for the company’s ‘Gender Neutral’ title. Dunne had been confirmed as the next challenger to the OTT Wrestling Gender Neutral Championship when he was set to face current Champion ‘Session Moth’ Martina on March 3rd from The Arena in Suir Road, Dublin.
OTT first introduced the Gender Neutral title back in 2017, ‘Session Moth’ Martina was crowned the first ever Champion at OTT’s Being The Elite event and has successfully defended her title twice in multiple person matches against the likes of Adam Maxted, Charlie Sterling, Angel Cruz and Chuck Taylor.
Whether or not the match will be rescheduled has not yet been confirmed.
We have tried everything in our power to bring you this event with safety as the number one priority, Unfortunately due to extreme weather conditions we must cancel this event, all eventbrite purchases will be refunded in the coming days. Apologies, #SafetyFirst#OTTpic.twitter.com/nk9oWd0woK
Irish promotion Over The Top Wrestling (OTT) has announced the first two matches for their upcoming Scrappermania IV show. Scrappermania is OTT’s Wrestlemania, it is the biggest wrestling show in Ireland and will again be held in Dublin’s National Stadium. These two matches are more than worth of the honor, as Keith Lee will be taking on Minoru Suzuki and Jeff Cobb will be facing Tomohiro Ishii.
The speculation following these two match announcements is that both Keith Lee and Jeff Cobb are being looked at as possible entrants in this year’s G1 Climax tournament. Jeff Cobb has already made his debut for New Japan as part of 2017’s World Tag League tournament where he teamed with Michael Elgin (he was originally scheduled to team with Matt Riddle). Keith Lee has yet to make his way over to NJPW but he does have the pedigree for a run over in Japan, having faced Tomohiro Ishii in an absolute barnburner back at Rev Pro’s Global Wars 2017 as well as his incredible runs in PROGRESS, EVOLVE and PWG.
Tickets for OTT’s Scrappermania will be available to purchase as of March 2nd.
WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne has been confirmed as the next challenger to the OTT Wrestling Gender Neutral Championship when he faces current Champion ‘Session Moth’ Martina on March 3rd from The Arena in Suir Road, Dublin.
OTT first introduced the Gender Neutral title (the first of its kind) back in 2017, ‘Session Moth’ Martina was crowned the first ever Champion at OTT’s Being The Elite event and has successfully defended her title twice in multiple person matches against the likes of Adam Maxted, Charlie Sterling, Angel Cruz and Chuck Taylor.
Martina is one of the most unique stars in the UK/Ireland and she has been demanding a match with the WWE Superstar ever since we was crowned GN Champion, this bout is set to turn a few heads in the UK scene and push the Championship even further into the spotlight.
Irish promotion Over The Top (OTT) Wrestling has announced two bouts for their ‘Homecoming’ event which takes place on February 3rd from Dublin, Ireland.
The first sees British Strong Style member and WWE UK Superstar Tyler Bate taking on Zack Sabre Jr. This will be the second time that these two men face off in 2018 following their Rev Pro ‘High Stakes’ tag team match in January.
The second will see a clash of international standouts Keith Lee and ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey. Lee has been making a huge mark on the British scene throughout 2017, his bouts in the headline slot of PROGRESS’ recent Chapter events have seen his stock rise exponentially. Mike Bailey will be looking to once again cement his name on the world stage with this bout, he has been quietly stealing shows across the UK region recently and this match is expected to be another barn burner.
Irish based promotion OTT has introduced a ‘Gender Neutral’ Championship to their ranks of titles. ‘Session Moth’ Martina became the inaugural champion at this past weekend’s ‘Being The Elite’ event from Dublin.
Martina has been pushing the concept and philosophy behind the new championship, stating that she is “very excited about the prospect of this Gender Neutral title. I have wrestled as many men as I have women throughout my career, this is OTT breaking down barriers. This opens up not only the best women in the business, but men as well. No one is off limits, everyone is equal.”
Fans of the promotion have already been suggesting challengers for Martina’s crown, including current WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne.
Over The Top (OTT) Wrestling has announced a show on October 7th to celebrate their 3rd Anniversary. The aptly named ‘Third Year Anniversary’ takes place at the Tivoli Theatre in Dublin, Ireland and will feature the following matches:
Mark Haskins vs ACH
Matt Riddle vs ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey
Session Moth Martina vs Veda Scott
Zack Gibson vs Colt Cabana
Jordan Devlin vs El Ligero vs Bubblegum
Bobby George Jr vs Rene Dupree
OTT has an on demand service available for only $8 per month and you can check out a free match from their recent WrestlePops show here.
Irish promotion Over The Top Wrestling (OTT) hosted their ‘Wrestlerama’ event this past weekend to a huge crowd in Belfast’s Mandela Hall.
Mick Foley appeared as part of the event as a special guest and he got involved in an angle with controversial performer Joey Ryan. Foley attempted to use Mr Socko on Ryan but it was blocked and reversed into Ryan’s ‘signature’ manoeuvre…have a look at the tweet below for the full video
Mick’s daughter Noelle sent out a reaction tweet earlier today that you can also check out below:
Not too long ago we posted some GIFs from an Attack! Pro Wrestling show involving a gimmick switch match between Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate.

Over The Top Wrestling (OTT) announced during their Scrappermania broadcast that ex-RAW General Manager Mick Foley will be ‘taking control’ of the promotion for one night only on August 5th. Foley’s last appearance on the UK/Irish scene was for ICW as part of their Fear & Loathing IX event.
Scrappermania was a big success for OTT with their first ever venture into iPPV on FloSlam. The WrestleRama event on August 5th has not yet been confirmed as being available to stream on FloSlam but with the inclusion of a star the caliber of Foley it surely will be.
Ireland based promotion Over The Top (OTT) Wrestling have announced that their biggest show of the year Scrappermania III will be shown live via the FloSlam streaming service.
