  • Jersey Shore Star To Tryout For WWE, Total Divas Preview, WWE At The Special Olympics

    – Angelina Pivarnick, who appeared on the first two seasons of Jersey Shore on MTV, revealed on her Twitter account that she is training for a WWE tryout.

After leaving Jersey Shore in 2010, Pivarnick expressed enthusiasm for professional wrestling and began training at the New Jersey-based Independent Wrestling Federation Academy. She made her wrestling debut for TNA Wrestling on the March 10, 2011 episode of iMPACT! in a six-women tag team match, partnering with Cookie (also known as Becky Bayless) and Sarita (also known as Sarah Stock and Dark Angel) against Angelina Love, Velvet Sky and Winter (also known as Katie Lea Burchill in WWE). Pivarnick was pinned by Love following interference from Robbie E.

    – Here is the synopsis for Total Divas airing on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 9/8 CT on E!: “Alicia, anticipating that her ex-boyfriend may be single again soon, toys with the idea of confessing her love to him; Jonathan takes heat for Eva’s bruises; and Paige is offended by Nikki’s classy take on her home turf.”

  • WWE Battleground Sells Least Tickets For PPV This Year, WWE Diva Plans

As things stand right now, there is no WWE Divas Championship match officially scheduled for Sunday’s WWE Battleground pay-per-view. Originally, WWE had planned to have Nikki Bella defend the WWE Divas Championship against Paige at Battleground, however that was before the angle was shot on Monday’s RAW where the NXT Divas were called up to the main roster.

Speaking of Sunday’s Battleground event in St. Louis, as of Wednesday, WWE had sold only 10,500 tickets for the 14,600 seat setup they have for the show. This marks the weakest advance for a regular WWE pay-per-view this year, not counting Elimination Chamber, which was originally a live event in a smaller venue that wasn’t promoted as a pay-per-view at first.

  • Charlotte & Becky Lynch Comment On Their WWE RAW Debut

    – Former NXT Diva Becky Lynch posted the following on Twitter regarding her main roster debut on Monday’s WWE Battleground “go-home” edition of WWE RAW in Atlanta, Georgia.

    – Charlotte tweeted this one out about her RAW debut.

  • Becky Lynch, Charlotte & Sasha Banks Make WWE Main Roster Debuts On RAW

On Monday’s WWE Battleground “go-home” edition of RAW, Stephanie McMahon announced a revolution of women’s wrestling in WWE.

Stephanie brought up the success of women in sports these days and went on to bring Becky Lynch, Charlotte and Sasha Banks to the main roster.

The storyline appears to be three groups of six, as Team Bella consists of The Bella Twins and Alicia Fox, while Becky Lynch, Charlotte and Paige were grouped together, and the trio of Naomi, Tamina and Sasha Banks were paired together.

  • Update On Sasha Banks And Charlotte Coming To The Main Roster

The main roster debuts of Charlotte and NXT Women’s Champion Sasha Banks have been spoken about quite a bit over the past few months.

This coming Wednesday on WWE NXT the pair will face off against each other for the NXT Women’s Championship after Charlotte joined forces with Banks last week to take on Dana Brooke and Emma.

It’s expected that when the pair do come up to the main roster, they’ll be featured in the feud that Paige is currently having with The Bella Twins.

Their debut was speculated on last week’s episode of RAW, and again some are expecting it to take place again tomorrow night (July 13th) but this could all change.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio with Dave Meltzer, the WWE have recently provided staff down at NXT with a memo which states who they won’t be using in upcoming storylines for later in the year.

Neither Sasha Banks or Charlotte were featured on that list is a strong indication that their main roster debuts could be imminent.

    https://twitter.com/RealPaigeWWE/status/619324642369499136

    – Chris Jericho tweeted the following about this week’s WWE Tough Enough episode scoring the best rating of the season thus far.

  • Charlotte Originally Scheduled To Appear On RAW On Monday, Stardust Update

    – While Stardust (Cody Rhodes) was back at television this week, WWE decided not to use him. The belief is that WWE isn’t ready to turn Stardust babyface, and due to the fact that he is Dusty Rhodes’ son and people probably won’t want to “boo” him, they are waiting to bring him back.

    – At one point, a few of the NXT Divas, Charlotte being one we can confirm specifically, were scheduled for this past Monday’s edition of WWE RAW. This wasn’t the first time NXT Divas were set to make their main roster debuts only for plans to be changed. As noted recently, Charlotte and Sasha Banks are expected to be brought up to the main roster in time for SummerSlam, and they are likely to be involved in the Paige vs. Team Bella angle, siding with Paige.

  • Chris Jericho Suffers Neck Injury In Japan, Rumored WWE Battleground Matches

    – Chris Jericho suffered a neck injury during his match in Japan with Neville this past weekend. The injury happened when Jericho caught Neville on a dive spot. Originally, the injury was believed to be a serious one, however he has reportedly recovered from it already and is under the belief that it will be completely gone in a few days.

    – In addition to the announced matches for this month’s WWE Battleground pay-per-view, Randy Orton vs. Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler vs. Rusev and Nikki Bella vs. Paige are expected. While Bella-Paige isn’t official yet, we can confirm that it was on the books for the event as recent as a week ago. In the case of Ziggler and Rusev, WWE is doing an angle where Ziggler is “out indefinitely,” so they might hold off on that match.

  • Plans For Sasha Banks & Charlotte’s WWE Main Roster Debuts

While there has been a lot of speculation about the outcome of the current storyline involving Paige taking on Team Bella (Alicia Fox and The Bella Twins), we can now report what the current working plan is.

According to PWInsider.com, NXT Diva Charlotte is scheduled to make her main roster debut at next month’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view. Another NXT Diva, likely current NXT Women’s Champion Sasha Banks, will be debuting alongside Charlotte to help Paige.

There was some discussion of calling up Bayley for this storyline, however she is dealing with a broken hand, so the talk now is that Banks will be the second Diva called up for this angle.

  • Mickie James Says She Wants To Return To WWE, Work With Paige

TNA Knockout Mickie James recently appeared as a guest on The Roman Show and spoke about her goals. Below are some highlights from the interview.

On Working With Paige is She Makes a WWE Return: “Paige. I am going to take her out now. If you don’t see her it’s not my fault. The girls have been killing it in NXT. Kudos to the girls of NXT for killing it. It’s a tough one. They are all so good. I would like to take on Charlotte. That would be fun because I’ve been friends with Ric Flair. He does nothing, but brag about her. He is proud of her as he should be.”

On Reaching Her Goals: “I don’t know. That would be amazing,” she said about returning to the WWE. “I got into wrestling to be a WWE superstar that was my goal. I watched WWE as a child. I was a fan. That’s where I wanted to be. I was fortunate and blessed to achieve that goal. I am grateful. But if I had the opportunity to come back of course I would be back to kick their butts. Easy competition. Just kidding.”

WWE Diva and Total Divas star Paige recently spoke with Biz Journals to promote the return of WWE Tough Enough. Below are some highlights from the interview.

On what she has learned business-wise in her career thus far: “That’s what I got told as soon as I got [in the entertainment industry], because you could be gone tomorrow and you don’t want to be completely screwed. Also, stay humble and hungry.”

On her favorite moments of her career: “Getting signed to the WWE was the biggest accomplishment I could do and also being at such a young age and being the WWE Diva’s champion was big.”

On having issues handling money: “This goes back to the saving money plan. The first year and a half that I was here, I thought “man, I have money. What should I do with it? Save it? No.” I would buy stuff immediately, but I got into a lot of trouble. I had to get surgery, I got into a car accident and someone took all of the money I had in my bank account and all of it came at once and I fell into debt. After that, I learned that I needed to be very smart with my money.”

In the season three finale, the Bella Twins were contemplating signing a three-year deal with WWE, but were reluctant to commit because Brie wanted to start a family and Nikki was looking into alternative business opportunities.
