Paige Banned From Twitch For Movie Stream

Saraya Bevis, better known to WWE fans as Paige has apparently been banned by the streaming platform Twitch for a movie stream.

According to some viewers, the former champion was holding a watch party for the movie Dumb & Dumber and her stream got cut halfway through.

Streamers are allowed to hold watch parties for several movies at the Amazon-owned platform but Dumb & Dumber is not part of the list and Paige appears to have gotten a copyright strike for streaming the movie:

https://twitter.com/AnEternalEnigma/status/1398094839028330499

The former champion has been streaming on the platform since last year and she is one of the top wrestling personalities on the platform.

Paige also faced some controversy when WWE decided to take over the Twitch profiles of all their contracted talents last year. The former SmackDown GM was one of the stars who protested the edict and continued streaming.

According to Twitch guidelines, a suspension can last for up to 30 days. Accounts with prior suspension records can be removed from the site indefinitely as well.

This seems to be Paige’s first violation of the Twitch guidelines so it’s likely that the former champion will not face an indefinite suspension and she will be back on the platform soon.

Paige Still Hopeful She Will Wrestle For WWE Again

When she first burst onto the scene as a 21-year-old, former WWE superstar Paige seemed destined for a glittering career. The women’s division was about the enter its revolution and Paige was the woman leading the charge. Then, tragedy struck in 2016 when she suffered a neck injury that saw her miss almost 18 months of action.

A short-lived return of less than a month resulted in a second injury that saw her call time on her career at just 25 years old.

If history has taught us anything, it is that injuries heal, and with both Daniel Bryan and Edge make successful comebacks after what were originally career ending injuries.

In a recent episode of Renee Paquette’s Oral Sessions podcast, Paige addressed the question of whether she could be the next name on the list of superstars to make a return.

Paige Has Wrestling in her DNA

Paige said she gets chills watching wrestlers like Edge and Daniel Bryan compete for WWE after neck and brain injuries kept them out of action for several years.

She noted that Edge’s return, in particular, gives her hope, because Edge overcame a similar spinal injury that ended Paige’s career.

“I’d come back tomorrow if I could, but I’m always going to have in the back of my head, what if?” she said. “I might not be mentally ready to come back, but when I am, watch out world, you’re going to be in trouble.”

Paige comments were said with a smile, suggesting the response from the British superstar was rather tongue-in-cheek, but who knows. Wrestling is in Paige’s blood. She was born into a wrestling family, and certainly had a rather unique, wrestling-centric upbringing.

Even now, after being away from the ring for almost three years, she still posts regular images from her wrestling days. For someone like that, the need to perform, the passion that runs through their veins never dies, and for many fans, the prospect of hearing that scream and seeing Paige skip down the entrance ramp just got a whole lot more realistic.

Paige Provides Update On Her Health

Paige recently made an appearance on the Oral Sessions with Renee Paquette podcast where the former champion discussed a number of things and talked about her WWE career in detail.

In light of the recent in-ring return of Daniel Bryan and Edge, many wonder if Paige could make a surprise comeback sometimes in the future as well.

Discussing her health, the former SmackDown General Manager provided an update on her situation and revealed that she does not have any issue with her neck right now:

“I haven’t had any issues with my neck right now. Sometimes I’ll wake up, and it’s funny, you know, it feels weird, but it’ll go away, I’m going to get my neck checked very soon to see the progress of it.

Hopefully, it looks good. I’m not saying in any way, shape, or form they’re going to let me come back; it’s literally just a checkup. But I am intrigued to see how my neck has progressed, for sure.”

Later in the interview, Paige revealed that the possibility of making a comeback also scares her because the thought of suffering an injury and getting paralyzed still lurks in the back of her head.

Paige suffered a neck injury during a house show in December 2017, forcing her to retire from active competition at the young age of 25.

Paige Hopeful For In Ring Return “One Day”

It appears WWE Superstar Paige is hoping to follow in the footsteps Daniel Bryan and Edge by returning to in-ring competition after ‘career ending’ injuries.

This week’s episode of SmackDown featured a backstage segment involving the two former world champions where Edge told Bryan that his in ring return in 2018 inspired the Rated R Superstar to do the same.

WWE posted the video of the segment on their Twitter. Paige responded to the tweet and she suggested that she is hopeful about making an in-ring return herself somewhere down the line:

Daniel Bryan, Edge & Paige’s Retirement

Daniel Bryan was forced to retire from in ring competition due to multiple health issues in 2016 but he worked to get himself clear again and the former world champion made his in ring return in 2018.

Edge on the other hand, stayed away from in ring competition for almost 9 years after announcing his retirement in 2011. He finally returned to action during last year’s Royal Rumble event.

The 28-year-old Paige has been away from in-ring competition after she suffered a neck injury during a house show in December 2017. The former champion has hinted at potential in-ring return multiple times recently and it would be interesting to see if she returns to active competition in near future.

Paige Featured In Music Video From Falling In Reverse

WWE’s Paige stars in a new music video from Falling in Reverse released yesterday. Paige has been in a relationship with the group’s singer, Ronnie Radke, since 2018. The video is for the group’s newest single “I’m Not A Vampire (Revamped).”

Paige took to her social media accounts to promote the music video.

Paige also noted that she will be hosting pre-show events for two shows the band will be performing in April from an undisclosed location.

https://twitter.com/RealPaigeWWE/status/1360372100502982658

“This is absolutely beautiful! Check out my friends amazing work! Raya you looked incredible and did so well, Ronnie killed it with those pipes. Visuals on point. Just epic all around!” Tweeted Zelina Vega.

Back in November, an obsessed fan was arrested at Paige’s home.

“Scariest thing ever. He told us symbols led him to us. But Ronnie got him in a hold until police got there. Wtf is wrong with people… thank god Ronnie is around to protect our house. Jesus,” she Tweeted about the incident.

Also in November, Paige was on the “Grown Ass Women” podcast and spoke about having been a victim of abuse in a previous relationship.

“In the end, it becomes a cycle. Eventually, something is happening to you every day,” Paige said.  “You could be trapped in a room for 6-7 hours, getting your ass beat every couple of minutes. And he’s doing all these crazy things to you.”

“I never thought that I’d be put in that position in my life, just cause of the way I was brought up,” Paige continued. “It happens to even the most strongest people and you should never feel bad about it.”

Paige Feels Goldberg Shouldn’t Be In The WWE Championship Match At Royal Rumble

A lot of people are not thrilled with WWE’s decision to bring back Goldberg as the opponent for Drew McIntyre at Royal Rumble and it appears that Paige is one of the stars who thinks that the former WCW star should not be in the spot.

The former Diva’s Champion returned as one of the hosts for the special Royal Rumble edition of WWE Backstage alongside Renee Young and Booker T.

During the episode, the trio talked about the upcoming show, and while discussing the WWE title match featuring Drew McIntyre and Goldberg, Paige said that she feels like the former champion shouldn’t be in it:

“Honestly, like I’m a fan of Goldberg, right, I just don’t feel like he should be in this kinda thing. I think Drew has been having this massive buildup over the last year. He’s been completely carrying as the babyface of the company. I think he’s been doing so freaking well.”

Paige went on to explain how there are many people who have been waiting for such an opportunity for a long time and she feels that Goldberg should at least not be the one to win this Sunday:

“Then you’ve got people who have been there for a long time who want to have that opportunity and unfortunately, they’re not getting it. I just don’t feel like it’s needed and I don’t think he should be the one to, at least, win it.”

Goldberg will be challenging Drew McIntyre for his WWE Championship at Sunday’s Royal Rumble PPV taking place from the Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, FL.

Stalker Arrested At Paige’s Home On Sunday

Paige has revealed that she and her boyfriend Ronnie Radke experienced a stalker incident on November 8th.

Retweeting Radke’s break down of the incident, Paige described the experience as the “scariest thing ever.” She explained how the stalker had told them that “symbols led him to us.” Paige also expressed her gratitude that her boyfriend was able to secure the person in a hold until the police could arrive.

https://twitter.com/RealPaigeWWE/status/1325554720388288512

Paige’s boyfriend had previously taken to Twitter to share his thoughts on what happened. He lobbied a clear warning to anyone thinking they could get away with something like this. He also shared photos of the police apprehending the stalker and accompanied them with the following caption:

“a stalker had the audacity to come to my door, got his ass handed to him until police arrived and saved the day. I will f*****g kill you. Please don’t make me kill you.”

Paige recently opened up about the physical abuse issues she suffered with her ex-fiance. The two were engaged in 2016 but ultimately split up in 2017.

She is also embroiled in an issue with WWE regarding her Twitch stream. WWE’s recent policy sees the company assume ownership of Twitch accounts operated by members of its roster. It’s not something Paige is very happy about, as she has stated she “cannot deal” with WWE anymore.

Paige Details Physical Abuse At The Hands of Alberto Del Rio

As Alberto Del Rio awaits trial for assault and kidnapping charges, his ex-fiance Paige has opened up about physical abuse she suffered at his hands. The two were engaged in 2016 but later split in 2017.

Paige was a guest on “Grown Ass Women” with Mickie James, Lisa Marie Varon, and SoCal Val when she spoke about what she endured.

“I’ve never openly talked about my ex, which is very out there, it’s out there but I’ve never talked about it,” Paige said. “It was very obvious what was happening, it is very obvious what I went through and all that kind of stuff.”

She spoke about the cycle of abuse she suffered.

Paige continued to allude to the abuse she suffered, although she never mentioned her ex by name.

“I’ll never say his name again, because he’s like Voldemort to me,” she continued. “Karma’s what’s happened to him and karma’s a real thing. And you put out what you receive, and right now he’s receiving it.”

The full interview with Paige on GAW can be viewed in the player below. Her comments about past abuse suffered come in around the 24:30 mark.

Ryback Talks Paige’s Ongoing Twitch Battle with WWE

Former WWE Superstar Ryback recently discussed the ongoing Twitch ‘battle’ between WWE and Paige. Saraya (Paige) has been vocal about the recent third party ban that WWE has imposed on Superstars, meaning that they could no longer use the likes of Twitch and Cameo.

Ryback would discuss how Paige is in a ‘strong position’ with her recent claims that she would not be letting WWE take her Twitch channel. “I feel for Paige, I hope she doesn’t sign over to them (WWE). She actually is in a really strong position, I don’t even know if she realizes she is, but she should continue to speak up.”

Ryback on Paige

“It will only garner her more attention” Ryback would continue. “It will gain her more of a following over there. She already has an amazing following on Twitch. I can say firsthand being over there when I created the Ryback Rules account. And having now done a little bit of gaming and stuff? It’s a great community over there, like it’s a lot of fun.”

Ryback has been outspoken regarding WWE and their ‘independent contractor’ claims regarding talent ever since he left the company. “I completely understand what she’s (Paige) talking about. I sympathize with her because I understand, I had the same thing. I’d lost wrestling and had to walk away with the injuries. Granted, I’ve been lucky enough and blessed enough to be able to come back.”

Ryback then discussed Paige using her Twitch channel to ‘fill the void’ that was left as she could not longer wrestle. “She’s not at that point [of returning to the ring], and it’s very lonely. It’s a sucky feeling, and then watching and being young still and knowing ‘this isn’t my life is anymore?’ This was her outlet for right now, and I feel for her on that.”

Do you agree with Ryback? Do you think that Paige will see repercussions from WWE for continuing to stream on her Twitch channel? Let us know in the comments

Paige ‘Cannot Deal’ With WWE Anymore: “I Broke My Neck Twice For This Company”

Paige is not happy with WWE’s recent policy of assuming ownership of the Twitch accounts owned and operated by members of its roster. She had plenty to say on the matter during a streaming session yesterday.

Paige emotionally expressed during the stream that Twitch was helping her get over not being able to wrestle anymore.

“I’ve honestly gotten to the point where I cannot deal with this company anymore,” Paige said. “I have to make a very important decision. I’m f***ing tired, man. I broke my f***ing neck twice, twice for this company. Over f***ing worked. I broke my f***ing neck twice for this company. They don’t realize that this community isn’t just about f***ing subs.”

https://twitter.com/ItsMachoT/status/1321999404371480577?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1321999404371480577%7Ctwgr%5Eshare_3&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fcomicbook.com%2Fwwe%2Fnews%2Fwwe-twitch-accounts-banned-paige-cant-deal-company-anymore%2F

Paige continued to state that she is an injured wrestler and only gets used for media occasionally. She says doing her Twitch stream gives her something to do and keeps her sane.

“I understand if they’re like, ‘you’re wrestling every day and doing shows every day,’ but I’m an injured wrestler. I get used for media stuff, sometimes, but at the end of the day, I’m in my house going f***ing crazy and I need something to keep me sane,” Paige said.

Paige seemed to imply that she is going to just keep streaming and see what happens.

“I had my neck taken away from me twice. You can’t take away my Twitch too. I’m gonna keep streaming, we’ll see how that goes,” she continued.

Paige Celebrates 2-Years Of Sobriety

WWE’s Paige recently took to Instagram to celebrate 2-years of sobriety. She posted a photo of her from 2 years ago and placed it side-by-side with a current one. It definitely appears the 28-year-old is in a much better place these days.

“I’ve posted something like that before. But so proud of my progress! 2 years of soberness. Mumma feeling goooooddd,” Paige said in the post.

Paige also mentioned that her brother is celebrating 6-weeks of sobriety. She noted that he seems to have aged backward in the last 2 months.

“He is 6 weeks in of being sober and I’m SO proud!!! He aged backwards in just under 2 months. Please throw some support in the comments, he deserves it ? Can’t wait for him to come visit me and ronnie for his 40th in February.”

Paige and former WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio became engaged in 2016. The couple announced they had split in late-2017. There were concerns at the time that substance abuse was rampant in their relaionship. Del Rio will go on trial early next year for aggravated kidnapping and sexual assault. If convicted, Del Rio could face as much as 99 years in prison.

Paige: “My Neck Feels Wonderful, Can You Let Me In Yet Coach?”

It appears that Paige is feeling pretty good these days and perhaps fans can see her back in the ring as a performer again.

She took to her Twitter account on Friday to note that her neck feels wonderful before adding a teaser.

Paige wrote, “Recycled pic. But.. Spent the last 2 years of my in ring career with this neck brace. 6 screws and 2 fusions later.. my neck feels wonderful. Can you let me in yet coach?”

Paige has spinal stenosis, which has kept her from not being medically cleared by WWE doctors to wrestle again. Her in-ring career ended in late December 2017 after she took a bad bump on the back of her neck during a six-woman tag team match.

Just this past March, she stated that she thinks a return to in-ring competition is a possibility one day but knows it won’t be anytime soon.

This interview came just a few months after Edge proved his doubters wrong when he returned to the ring. In the past, a history of major neck injuries resulted in careers being ended.

Maybe that trend is changing. If you look at Daniel Bryan, he was able to rest on the sidelines for a few years after suffering several concussions and got cleared after he was told that he would never wrestle again.

Paige Hints At Unionizing In Wake Of WWE 3rd Party Ban

In a controversial move, WWE is set to assume ownership of Twitch and Cameo accounts belonging to members of its roster soon.

Many WWE stars, such as Paige, Zelina Vega, Dakota Kai, and more have successful video game streaming accounts on Twitch and have been vocal about WWE’s new policy regarding 3rd party deals.

Paige teased on social media that she’s learned a lot about “unionism” recently on Monday. Fellow WWE Superstar Zelina Vega publicly acknowledged the tweet.

https://twitter.com/Zelina_VegaWWE/status/1313253348804567040

WWE’s Overreach

While no one on the WWE roster has come right out and spoken against the policy, many have issued comments on why they started their Twitch channels.

“Twitch is MY place what I built with my wonderful fans. A place where people can go and feel some positivity and little bit of normalcy. Fun. Interactive. Non judgemental. Charitable place. I’m proud of what I built with my fan base,” Paige Tweeted.

Andrew Yang has been quite vocal about his opposition to WWE’s policy of classifying talent as independent contractors. He has been especially outspoken on the matter lately due to the new policy on 3rd party agreements.

“A lot of it is that wrestlers are afraid to speak out, and I’ve had wrestlers past and present reach out to me and say that Vince has been getting away with exploitation of wrestlers calling them independent contractors while controlling their activities for years and years,” Yang said in an interview with Wrestling Inc. “A lot of it is just that they are a quasi-monopoly, and wrestlers fear that if they do try and unionize or organize in any way that Vince doesn’t like, that it will never work again.”

Paige’s Statement On Her Twitch Account After WWE Take Over Report

Paige has gained quite the following on the Twitch platform and based on her recent comments, it’s something that is special to her.

The former WWE Divas Champion built up the following after she retired from being an in-ring performer and not currently being used on WWE television.

She took to Twitter on Friday afternoon to comment on what she has built on the platform. Many people thought this statement might be a reference to WWE’s new edict on third party activity. She wrote the following:

“Twitch is MY place what I built with my wonderful fans. A place where people can go and feel some positivity and little bit of normalcy. Fun. Interactive. Non judgemental. Charitable place. I’m proud of what I built with my fan base.”

Of course, Vince McMahon sent out a reminder to wrestlers this week about how they had until October 2nd to cease all unauthorized third party activity.

This is where McMahon told that repeated violations may result in potential fines, suspensions, or terminations. It has since been reported that the company plans to take over the Twitch accounts created by talents in four weeks as they will own those accounts.

The problem that wrestlers have with this is that while they will receive a percentage of the revenue, it will count against the pay from their downside guarantees.

WWE Superstars Discuss Travel Issues With Championships

Prior to the coronavirus pandemic, travel was a given if you’re a WWE Superstar. Wrestlers have often spoken about the rigors of WWE’s schedule. It isn’t uncommon for a Superstar to be frequently to perform either in-ring or media duties. On a recent episode of A Little Late With Lilly Singh, Alexa Bliss, Natalya, and Paige opened up about having to travel with a WWE championship belt.

Bliss shared how a WWE champion has to take their belt everywhere with them. “It’s like, ‘Oh my gosh, I won a title,’ and they are like yes, now you have to carry it through TSA.”

She explained how it can occasionally get you into weird, embarrassing situations. Bliss recalled a time when she tried to stow her bag into a plane’s overhead locker.

According to Alexa Bliss, the bag just wouldn’t fit. Eventually, she was requested to check the bag, which she wanted to avoid. She was told she would have to take something out of her bag to make it fit. “[…] of course, the only thing that I can take out was the title and then of course miraculously my bag fit. I had to sit there and be that person, that in case you didn’t know I’m the champ, I’m sitting in my airport seat with my title.”

Paige’s Travel Woes

Paige then recalled a travel story where her look ended up causing her to come under suspicion. Despite having the championship in her bag, “they were all focused on my jacket.” She shared how her in-ring jacket had stones and metal on it. This caused security to pull it out and question her.

According to Paige, she was asked if she intended to use her spiked jacket as a weapon. After having a crowd gather to inspect it, she was finally allowed through as they had no choice but to admit it was just a jacket.

Paige Reveals She Gave Nia Jax Her Finishing Move

Nia Jax made her return to WWE during last night’s post-WrestleMania episode of Monday Night RAW. She defeated NXT Superstar Deonna Purrazzo, utilizing a specific move on her warpath to victory. That move was former WWE Superstar Paige’s finishing move, the RamPaige. According to Paige, however, she was more than happy for her friend to adopt her former signature move.

After Jax’s match, Paige took to Twitter to share her joy at her friend’s triumphant return. She stressed how wrestlers should never use another person’s finisher unless they have permission. Paige then revealed she gave Jax full permission to start using the RamPaige, noting how she “killed it” during her return.

“You never use another persons finishing move unless it is given to you. I gave it to @NiaJaxWWE and she just killed it. I have chills. Proud moment [red heart emoji] @WWE”.

https://twitter.com/RealPaigeWWE/status/1247348354947756032

Nia Jax soon responded to Paige. She noted that it’s an honor for her to have been gifted the RamPaige as a new move in her offensive arsenal.

Jax had been away from in-ring action since April 2019 after having to undergo double knee surgery. Her return has seen her go right back to her dominant ways, perhaps leading Jax towards eventual championship contention.

Bayley Sends Message To Paige After WrestleMania Win

Bayley won a 5-way elimination match at WrestleMania 36 to retain her Smackdown women’s championship. The deck had been stacked against the champion by Paige, who announced Bayley’s WrestleMania challengers on a recent episode of Smackdown.

Following her victory last night, Bayley told WWE.com she has a message for Paige.

“Go get Paige right now, pull her up on the Titantron, go Skype her,” Bayley said backstage. “Go face-time her because that’s the only way she likes to communicate, right? Paige, I don’t care what match she has to make. I thought you (Kayla Braxton) were going to be in the match, where’s Renee Young, huh? It’s an open invitation, I would have whooped you too Kayla, tell Paige that.”

“There’s a lot going on, I had to face 4 other women and there’s only 1 of me, if you didn’t notice, including my best friend. That’s like a hundred people versus me. That’s a lot, it’s a lot of stress, I’ve had a big year.”

“How long have I been champion again? I’ve lost count, there’s so many days,” Bayley continued.

Bayley’s Championship Stats

Bayley’s current reign with the title is at 178 days. It is the longest single-reign in the title’s lineage. Her 318+ combined days with the belt is also a record for the title. Bayley also once held the RAW Women’s Championship for 76 days.

Bayley’s backstage interview can be viewed in the player below:

Paige Shares What Brock Lesnar Is Like Outside The Ring

Paige has shared what the current WWE Champion, Brock Lesnar, is like backstage and away from the ring. During an interview with Inside the Ropes, she confessed that “The Beast Incarnate” is just as intimidating behind-the-scenes at first. However, once you get to know him, she shared he’s actually “very sweet.”

“No. He’s scary—he’s definitely scary when you first meet him. He is an intimidating man, for sure. He’s massive,” Paige said. “But once you get to know him, he’s also very sweet. So, like, if I’d wanted advice from him, I could go to him and he’ll be like, ‘yeah, sure I’ll give it to you.’ He’s really wonderful, too.”

Since she was unfortunately forced into retirement from in-ring action, Paige has been a General Manager for SmackDown. She also helped manage the Kabuki Warriors before their betrayal. Paige has previously expressed interest in managing other talents including “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey.

Brock Lesnar, meanwhile, is set to defend his WWE Championship against the winner of the 2020 Royal Rumble, Drew McIntyre. The two will clash at WrestleMania 36 on April 5.

Originally intended to take place from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, WrestleMania will now emanate from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

This decision was made in the wake of the worldwide coronavirus pandemic. WWE officially announced their decision to relocate ‘Mania after days of speculation following a meeting with Tampa officials last week.

They are the latest organisation forced to reschedule and postpone events due to the coronavirus. Other events, conventions, concerts and tours have been cancelled.

Reason Why Paige Missed Last Night’s SmackDown

Despite being advertised for last night’s unique episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Paige was not in attendance for the show. Turns out the reason behind his absence was thanks to travel concerns due to the coronavirus pandemic.

According to Ryan Satin of ProWrestlingSheet, Paige “did not travel to Florida for Smackdown due to coronavirus related travel concerns which the company accommodated.”

Paige herself would address missing the blue brand show. Taking to Twitter, she wrote:

“Sorry guys travel made it very hard for me to get there for #SmackDownLIVE with everything that’s going on. Completely out of my control. [sad face emoji] very sorry.. But at least @itsBayleyWWE is keeping you entertained” She accompanied her message with a gif of a woman laughing into her drink, causing it to spray everywhere.

Empty SmackDown

Last night’s SmackDown Live took place in an empty WWE Performance Center. Only essential personnel were in attendance, including ‘The Game’ Triple H and Michael Cole who both provided commentary.

The decision to move the show to the WWE PC was made due to the coronavirus threat. WWE aren’t the only ones affected, with All Elite Wrestling also having made changes to upcoming shows to help protect their fans and talent.

At the time of writing, WWE is still committed to going ahead with WrestleMania 36. Last night’s episode continued to build towards their biggest event of the year, despite other organizations delaying, rescheduling or outright cancelling their events.

Paige Thinks In-Ring Return Is Always A Possibility

Paige isn’t giving up on the idea of a potential in-ring return.

Page was interviewed by Inside The Ropes where she talked about a wide range of topics. This includes the possibility of one day returning to action and competing in the ring.

“I think it is always a possibility one day, you can never say never,” Paige said. “It’s not going to be any time soon. That’s mostly all I can say about it, it’s really hard because I just had a neck surgery in August.

My neck is just getting healthier quicker the second time around which is crazy, I feel absolutely fantastic. So, we’ll see where it goes.”

The former WWE Divas Champion and SmackDown General Manager has spinal stenosis, which has kept her from not being medically cleared by WWE doctors to wrestle again.

Previously, WWE hadn’t cleared talent to make a return to the ring with such an injury. However, WWE Hall of Famer Edge dealt with the same injury.

Now, he’s back in action as he’s slated to take on Randy Orton in a match at WrestleMania 36.

Paige Shares Update After Undergoing Emergency Surgery

Paige had fans worried once she revealed that she had to undergo the knife.

The former WWE Divas Champion did so when she shared a story on her official Instagram account that noted she had emergency surgery on Thursday morning.

This was done to remove an ovarian cyst. She wrote the following:

“Thank you to @ronnieradke for getting on a plane from tour and rushing to be my side. What we thought was something scarier ended up having an emergency surgery to remove a massive cyst on my ovary. Life is precious and so is my boyfriend.”

Paige’s boyfriend, Ronnie Radke, also shared the news in a tweet, as seen below:

Paige provided an update to her fans on Twitter by sharing this:

https://twitter.com/RealPaigeWWE/status/1235576646997921792

She has spinal stenosis, which has kept her from not being medically cleared by WWE doctors to wrestle again.

Since being out of the ring, Paige has served in various roles on WWE television. This includes being the SmackDown General Manager as well as the manager of Asuka and Kairi Sane, who are currently the Women’s Tag Team Champions.

She currently serves as an analyst on the weekly talk show on FOX Sports 1, WWE Backstage.

Paige Names Current Champion At Top Of Her List Of Dream WWE Opponents

Paige has named the person that she would want to wrestle should she be medically cleared for in-ring action.

The speculation of her making a potential comeback started when she fueled speculation as she believed her glory days were far from over. Paige did so by posting the following on her official Twitter account earlier this month.

“I get told that my glory days are over with my career & that I’m a ‘slut’ [because] of the crap that got released about me,” Paige wrote on Twitter. “Just know again. people make mistakes when they’re young. I’m not that person. Also my glory days are far from over. I have a whole a lot of career left in me. 2020 will be a good year for me.”

Paige Names Opponents

Fast forward a few weeks later, Paige talked with Daily Mail Online where she named WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch as a talent that would be at the top of her list as someone she would want to face.

It should be noted that she also mentioned NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley and Candice LeRae as other dream opponents.

“You’d want to face the top person in the company and obviously that would be Becky [Lynch], so I’d want to face her,” Paige responded. “There’s so many. I’d want to face Rhea Ripley. I’d want to face Candice [LeRae]. All the Four Horsewomen. I’d want to face everyone, bring them all on.”

The former WWE Divas Champion and SmackDown General Manager has spinal stenosis, which has kept her from not being medically cleared by WWE doctors to wrestle again.

Whether she works another match remains to be seen. Previously, WWE hasn’t cleared a talent to make a return to the ring with such an injury but she could be the first.

Paige Comments On Possible In Ring Return

Former Diva’s Champion Paige sparked rumors about her future recently when she made a couple of interesting tweets and since then people have been speculating whether she could return to the ring anytime soon.

The WWE Backstage star and Stephanie McMahon both appeared on Good Morning Britain earlier yesterday to promote WWE’s new TV deal in UK with BT Sport.

During their appearance, the reporters asked about the rumors about the female star’s return. Replying to it, Stephanie joked that she likes to stoke the fire a bit and Paige responded by saying “Yeah, I do.”

When the reporter asked if we can see her coming out of retirement for another match, the former NXT star explained that she wouldn’t want to come back for a ‘hot minute’ but she went on to claim that you should never say never:

“Well, not for a hot minute,” Paige said. “But you know, never say never, of course. You always… yeah you don’t want to put any doubt underneath them, but hopefully one day.”

The reporter later asked how she deals with not being able to wrestle and the former NXT Women’s Champion replied by saying that the wonderful thing about WWE is that they give her the opportunity to do other stuff.

Speculation Over Paige Returning To In-Ring Action

Paige sparked rumors about her return to action when she made some interesting comments while replying to her haters in a couple of tweets earlier this month.

In the tweets as seen below, the WWE star first said that people make mistakes when they are young and she then claimed that she has a ‘whole lot of career’ left in her:

These comments have led many to believe that the retired star could be hinting towards a possible return and a lot of people have been wondering if she can make a surprise comeback at the upcoming Royal Rumble event.

Paige & Others React To Triple H Joking About Her Being Promiscuous

WWE executive Triple H is getting some negative feedback to a joke he made about WWE Superstar Paige being promiscuous.

During a media interview to promote NXT Takeover: Blackpool II over the weekend, Triple H was asked about the in-ring futures of Edge and Paige. The Game first claimed that with the medical conditions, their return would partly depend on their own personal choice and the choice of WWE’s medical personnel.

Triple H first claimed that with the medical conditions, their return would partly depend on their own personal choice and the choice of WWE’s medical personnel. He then said that their family situations also come into account. In doing so, he dropped an interesting ‘joke’ about Paige’s personal life.

“More importantly than that [returning to the ring], though, I would like to see them live long healthy lives. You know, Edge has kids. Paige – maybe. She probably has some she doesn’t know of.”

The joke is better suited with a male as the target, since they’d be more likely to have children they don’t know about, but Paige got the message loud and clear. The former WWE Divas Champion says it’s difficult to earn the respect of the public when her own boss mocks her publicly.

Renee Young and Nikki Bella expressed their support for Paige.

More From Triple H

Elsewhere in the interview, Triple H brought in the example of Daniel Bryan. He said that they allow people to go back when their medical experts believe that they have done what it requires to rehab their situation and they are safe to go back to the ring.

Edge has been subject to many rumors since his SummerSlam spot and recent reports indicate that he could be working towards a possible comeback.

On the other hand, not much has been said about Paige’s situation but she sparked rumors about her future when she recently claimed that she has a ‘whole lot of career left’ in her.

Paige Sparks Speculation Over Her Career & WWE Future

Paige has fans talking when she sparked speculation over the possibility of her future with WWE in a series of messages.

The former WWE Divas Champion and SmackDown General Manager took to her official Twitter account to talk about her career in 2020. This is where she declared that she has “a lot of career left” and that 2020 will be a good year for her. She wrote the following:

“I get told that my glory days are over w/ my career & that I’m a “slut” coz of the crap that got released about me. Just know again. Ppl make mistakes when they’re young. I’m not that person. Also my glory days are far from over. I have a whole a lot of career left in me. 2020 will be a good year for me.”

Paige Sparks Potential Return

As of late, there have been a lot of rumors and speculation on Paige possibly returning to the ring for WWE in 2020.

Paige represented Asuka and Kairi Sane on SmackDown Live after her run as the SmackDown GM ended. She currently works as an analyst on the weekly studio TV show on FOX Sports 1, WWE Backstage.

Back in September, it was reported that she had signed a new 5-year deal with WWE.

After undergoing the knife again late last year for a hernia, she revealed that her doctor has told her that she has the neck of a 60-year-old.

Paige has spinal stenosis, which has kept her from not being medically cleared by WWE doctors to wrestle again.
