-WWE NXT Divas Paige and Summer Rae recently commented on Twitter about The Undertaker and Michelle McCool being at the WWE Performance Center this week. Below are their comments:

Paige:

Summer Rae:

-Speaking of Twitter, the new Los Matadores duo continue to hype their forthcoming WWE television debut. Their latest tweet reads:

“The day is getting closer…… Los matadores are making their way to the new world!!! #SmackDown #WWEOlé @WWE”

The Latest On WHO The Undertaker Will Wrestle At WrestleMania XXX!

– WWE.com has a poll up asking fans which stable would in win a 6-man tag team match, The Shield or the Wyatt Family. With 457,000 votes cast, here are the current results:

• 44% – The Shield
• 56% – The Wyatt Family

– NXT Women’s Champion Paige continues to get very strong feedback for her work at WWE developmental. One of the main reasons the self proclaimed “Anti-Diva” has not yet been called up to the main roster is because WWE has an unwritten rule that their talent should be at least 21 years old before they go on the road. Paige turns 21 on August 17th.

That said, there are some people in the locker room questioning why WWE broke that rule with Total Divas cast member Jo Jo Offerman, who is only 19 years old.

As for Jo Jo’s relationship with Justin Gabriel on Total Divas, there is talk of Justin Gabriel taking advantage of the teenage Diva, which would lead to a heel turn for the South African native.

-Part-time WWE Superstar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently tweeted his thoughts on the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view. Rock wrote:

“Congrats my #WWE family for a helluva #SummerSlam. The boys (and gals) worked their asses off. Congrats @RandyOrton new @WWE Champ! #Viper”

-According to reports, WWE has released NXT star Dante Dash from his contract. Dash had been with the company since 2011.

-WWE recently posted a new video on the official NXT Tout account where Paul Heyman talks about his next recruit being a “Paul Heyman girl” as opposed to a “Paul Heyman guy.” Many are speculating that Heyman is referring to current NXT Divas Champion Paige. Heyman does confirm that he has found his next star, but doesn’t mention anyone by name.

WWE NXT Paige was crowned the first-ever NXT Women’s Champion on this week’s NXT show and spoke to WWE.com about her big win:

“To be the first NXT Women’s Champion is such an honor. It’s so overwhelming that it hasn’t fully sunk in yet. Emma gave me a heck of a match and I have so much respect for her. We made history. I still can’t believe I can say that I’ve made history in WWE. I cried and cried when I won it and the support from everyone has been crazy. I’m getting goose bumps and teary-eyed just talking about it.”

 

“I want everyone to know that they can accomplish anything they want at any age if they just be themselves. I want to encourage millions to chase their dreams and to never change. Everyone should also know how to throw a good right hook!

– Bo Dallas also worked the show, losing to Intercontinental champion Wade Barrett.

– Dolph Ziggler and Big E Langston challenged WWE Tag Team Champions Kane and Daniel Bryan, but came up short in their first title match.

UK wrestling legend Sweet Saraya, mother of NXT Diva Paige, recently spoke to the UK’s The Sun about a documentary that her family participated in.

Sayara, the reigning SHIMMER Champion, talked about how proud she and her husband are of Paige and mentioned her sons are looking to join WWE next:

“Ricky and I love the fact that our family followed us into wrestling and love it as much as we do. We are especially proud that they have made a living out of the job and that they have excelled too”.

“I was there when Britani (Paige) was told. It was amazing, she was bouncing off the walls. We as a family were buzzing for her, but inside we all knew we would have to lose her to the States. We knew she was going to be huge and are so proud.

“Now it is the rest of the world’s turn to find that out. It is the boys turn to go for it next. We are all rooting for them to follow their sister to the WWE.”

Here are some news items from from Sunday’s WWE live events:

– At the WWE RAW live event from Florence, South Carolina, Ryback teamed up with Kane and Daniel Bryan against the team of WWE Champion CM Punk Hunico and Camacho. The match ended in a no-contest when The Shield hit the ring and attacked Ryback. He eventually fought back as Team Hell chased them to the back.

– At the WWE SmackDown live event from Columbia, South Carolina, WWE newcomer Fandango was in action against Ted DiBiase Jr. Fandango, formerly known as Johnny Curtis, defeated DiBiase and our live correspondent said his new dancing gimmick was entertaining.

Also at the SmackDown event from Columbia, NXT Diva Paige teamed up with Layla to defeat Natalya and Aksana.

– The roster page of WWE’s official NXT website, FCWWrestling.info, no longer lists Chase Donovan or Nick Rogers. This is generally an indication that WWE has released talent.

Donovan is 27-year-old New England based wrestler the company signed earlier this year after moving to Florida to become a bodybuilder. He previously competed on the independent circuit from 2004 to 2009 as Bryce Andrews. He largely put over talent during his few appearances for NXT.

Rogers is a Canadian wrestler the company signed last year. Albeit undersized by WWE standards, he billed himself as a physical specimen. He had not been used in a high-profile manner as of late.

Chad Baxter and Louis Fontaine were also released from their developmental contracts with WWE this week.

– This morning’s episode of WWE Saturday Morning Slam will feature WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Zack Ryder. Kofi remarked of the encounter on Twitter: “Tomorrow on #SaturdayMorningSlam: a friendly sparring session between me and Long Island Iced-Z @ZackRyder. Tune in! 10am on the CW #Vortexx.”

– WWE developmental wrestlers Anya, Audrey Rae, Charlotte, Paige, Sasha Banks and Summer Rae paid a visit to Dunbar Elementary School in Florida on Friday. The future Divas shared their success stories and answered questions.

– There is still a chance WWE will add another Team Elimination match to Sunday’s Survivor Series pay-per-view. Prior to WWE changing the pre-show tag match to Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel vs. 3MB, there was talk of adding Rey Mysterio, Sin Cara, Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel vs. Primo, Epico, Darren Young and Titus O’Neal.

Since Gabriel & Kidd replaced Santino & Zack Ryder in the pre-show match, it’s possible that Team CoBro could replace them in the rumored elimination match.

– WWE NXT Diva Sasha Banks made her TV debut at last night’s tapings from Full Sail University, wrestling Paige. The former Mercedes KV tweeted:

– Speaking of Paige, WWE diva Layla was asked on Twitter what she thinks of the 21 year old British “Anti-Diva.” She replied:

* New Pictures Of NXT Diva Paige – WWE’s “ANTI-DIVA”

— Layla made her return to in-ring competition at a non-televised Florida Championship Wrestling event on Thursday night. Alongside babyface Audrey Marie, they defeated Paige and Sofia Cortez.

The final WWE Women’s Champion has been sidelined since May due to tears of both her Anterior cruciate and Medial collateral ligaments, which required surgery. She underwent rehabilitation in the meantime.

— WWE Hall of Famer Sunny posted a message on Facebook remembering the late Chris Candido, who would have turned 40 years old on Wednesday. She wrote of her former boyfriend with the following image, “I miss you honey…xoxo.” After several people posted photos and messages remembering Candido on her Facebook wall, she wrote, “ok, enough sadness about CC….lets move on to happier things…Heaven isn’t too far away…closer to it every day….”

Candido died on April 28, 2005 due to a blood clot, a complication from leg surgery three days earlier.

— WWE Hall of Famer Howard Finkel will appear at WrestleReunion 8 taking place April 13-15 at Doubletree Toronto Airport 655 Dixon Rd. Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

UK women’s wrestler Britani Knight (real name Saraya-Jade Bevis) made her WWE developmental debut at Thursday night’s FCW show in Tampa. Knight competed in a battle royal under the name Saraya, a play off her mother’s ring name, Sweet Saraya. Knight signed a WWE developmental contract in the fall of 2011 after receiving two tryout matches. She now wrestles at NXT as the “Anti-Diva” Paige. Check out these pictures of NXT Diva Paige:
