    – Paige revealed on tonight’s RAW that “Absolution” is the name for her new group with Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. RAW was supposed to feature Absolution vs. Sasha Banks, Mickie James and Bayley but the match never happened as Bayley and Mickie were taken out backstage. Absolution faced off with Sasha in the ring and triple teamed her after offering her the chance to pledge allegiance to the group. Below is video from tonight’s segment:

    – Former WWE Champion Rob Van Dam was recently asked by a fan on Twitter if he thinks he could beat current WWE Champ AJ Styles for the strap. In regards to a possible return to the company, RVD indicated that the final call is up to Triple H. Van Dam hasn’t wrestled with WWE since his August 29th match with Seth Rollins back in 2014.     Sonya Deville & Mandy Rose: Info on Paige’s New Run-In Buddies

    Last night on Raw, Paige returned and brought some backup with her. Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose made their Raw debut and made it clear they are working with Paige.

    Here is some background info on Paige’s new run-in buddies:

    Sonya Deville:

    Contrary to popular belief, 24-year-old Sonya Deville actually does have an MMA background. She has a 2-1 amateur MMA record and trained out of the Systems Training Center in Hawthorne, CA.

    She also hosted the show “UFC AfterBuzz” show on AfterBuzz.tv which currently hosts Sean Waltman’s podcast.

    Deville also has several acting credits to her name, including producing her own movie “the Honour” in 2013. The description of the movie is as follows:

    “Christian Conservative Sarah discovers her daughter Judith is gay and in love with a Muslim Neighbor. Sarah will do anything to save the immoral soul of her daughter.”

    Deville was discovered by WWE in 2015’s version of Tough Enough.

    Mandy Rose:

    Rose was also discovered in the 2015 edition of Tough Enough but her pre-WWE career was spent in the world of fitness modeling. This was also the route Rose’s idol, Trish Stratus, took to the WWE.

    Earlier this year, a photo of Mandy Rose spread online which made many fans consider her Trish’s doppelganger. Even Trish commented the photo had her fooled:

    The 26-year-old’s real name is Amanda Saccomanno and she is from Westchester County, New York though she has relocated near the Performance Center in Orlando.

    Rose and Deville actually tagged together in their first NXT match. It was a 6-person match and their other partner was Alexa Bliss, whom they beat up last night in the back.

    Rose has two official tour victories for the World Bodybuilding Fitness and Fashion organization from events in 2014.

    Neither Rose nor Deville competed on the independents before being signed to WWE.

    – New WWE Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns is now a Grand Slam Champion after his win over The Miz in the main event of this week’s RAW. Reigns is the 17th Grand Slam Champion in company history. WWE Hall of Famer Booker T welcomed Reigns to the club with this tweet:

    PHOTOS & VIDEOS: Paige Returns To RAW With NXT Superstars

    Paige made her long-awaited WWE return on tonight’s RAW from Houston, interrupting a Fatal 4 Way to crown a new #1 contender to RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss. The match featured Sasha Banks, Bayley, Mickie James and Alicia Fox but there was no finish.

    Paige declared that she was back but she was not alone. She then walked to the ring as WWE NXT Superstars Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville hit the ring to attack the other female Superstars as Paige watched their main roster debuts. Paige joined in and took out Bayley with a RamPaige. Paige stood tall with Sonya and Mandy to end the segment.

    Paige later was interviewed by Renee Young but Bliss interrupted her and said Paige doesn’t have to explain herself as the others got what they deserved. Bliss gave Mandy and Sonya props before dismissing Renee. Paige introduced Mandy and Sonya to Bliss before they triple teamed the champion and destroyed her backstage, leaving her laying.

    Before last night’s Raw from Atlanta, several pictures were leaked online of Paige arriving at the Philips Arena. This led many to speculate she would be returning that night.

    Bayley won a triple threat match on RAW to earn the final spot on Team RAW in the Women’s elimination match. Paige had been rumored to be the final member of Team RAW, but never appeared on the show.

    On Wrestling Observer radio last night, Dave Meltzer reported the plan earlier in the week was for Paige to be the last participant named to the team.

    Meltzer continued to speculate that perhaps the reason for Paige being removed from the match was an Instagram post she released which showed her backstage at the event and other pictures which surfaced online that gave away her potential return.

    Big Return Reportedly Set For RAW Next Week

    Former WWE Divas Champion Paige has been away from WWE TV since last summer after violating the company’s Wellness Policy twice, in addition to getting surgery to repair a neck injury. According to a report from PWInsider, Paige is set to return to WWE TV next week on RAW. Initially it was believed that Paige would return as a member of SmackDown Live, however, it now appears she will remain on Monday Night RAW.

    Paige is also expected to join Team RAW at Survivor Series later this month. It’s possible she’s added to the Triple Threat match between Dana Brooke, Bayley, and Mickie James to determine the team’s final member. She could also take someone else’s spot before the pay-per-view (PPV) as well. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more…

    WWE Superstar Paige is gearing up for her in-ring return after being out of action for over a year with a neck injury that required surgery. During that time, she got engaged to Alberto El Patron and the couple has made headlines numerous times for their outlandish behavior.

    We’ve heard rumors that Paige an Alberto broke up in recent weeks and a Snapchat video posted by Paige’s friend on Thursday night appears to corroborate that story. With another couple making out behind her, Paige says, “That’s why I’m single.”

    Neither Paige or Alberto have commented publicly on their engagement being called off.

    WWE bringing back Starrcade:

    “Love the idea of WWE bringing back the Starrcade theme for a live event coming to Greensboro, N.C. in November.  What point did I apparently miss that has actually made this booking somewhat controversial? Broadcasting Starrcade was a personal thrill for me back in the day.”

    Bobby Heenan’s passing:

    “Still shaken over the death of my long time friend, and former broadcast partner, Bobby Heenan, this past Sunday after years of suffering and illness that drastically changed his life and affected many of us in a profound way. Bobby Heenan was simply the best to ever combine the diverse skill sets of wrestling, managing, and broadcasting in the history of the pro wrestling game. Arguably the most talented overall performer in the history of the biz was our beloved ‘Weasel.’ Bobby, please say hello wife Jan when you see her, and tell her that I miss her every minute of the day.     Paige preparing for her WWE return:

    Adam Cole to make his WWE NXT in-ring debut next week

    Adam Cole will make his WWE NXT in-ring debut on next week’s episode of NXT. He will face Eric Young in his first match. SAnitY attacked Kyle O’Reilly, Bobby Fish and Adam Cole at the end of last night’s episode of NXT.

    Paige hasn’t stepped foot in a WWE ring since June of 2016. She recently shared photos on Instagram of her at the WWE Performance Center in preparation for her return to the ring.

    As we’ve previously reported this week, former WWE Divas Champion Paige has been training at the WWE Performance Center in Florida to prepare for her in-ring return to the company.

    Per a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Paige has already received full clearance to return to work inside the squared circle and is simply working on getting back into ring shape at the moment. Paige hasn’t wrestled in over a year since suffering her neck injury, which required surgery to repair, and rumor has it that upon her return she’ll be doing work on the SmackDown Live brand. WWE officials reportedly already have a storyline lined up for her when she’s ready to return.

    Jinder’s Controversial SmackDown Promo, Paige Back At WWE PC

    – As seen on Tuesday’s SmackDown LIve, WWE Champion Jinder Mahal cut a promo that mocked Shinsuke Nakamura for being Japanese.

    At one point in the promo, Mahal mocked Nakamnura’s appearance, saying “you always rook the same” and always has the same facial expression whether he’s happy and angry. He also referenced Japanese people feasting on cats and dolphins and compared Nakamura to Mr. Miyagi from the Karate Kid movies.

    Fans in the arena weren’t having it and responded by chanting, “that’s too far.” WWE apparently wasn’t a fan of this segment either, as it was not uploaded to the company’s YouTube channel.

    Mahal will defend the WWE Championship against Nakamura at Hell in a Cell on 10/8 from Detroit, Michigan.

    WWE Issues Statement On Paige’s Visit To Performance Center

    While Paige has been determined to return to WWE, many wondered if the company would allow her to come back considering everything that has happened with her boyfriend Alberto Del Rio. Though now it appears that it may not be a problem in her in-ring return.

    As we noted before Paige visited WWE Performance Center this Monday and posted a photo of it from her Instagram account with the hashtag “Road back to my house”.

    Now the company has also acknowledged the visit of the former Diva’s Champion by posting the following story regarding it on their official website:

    “Paige returns to the WWE Performance Center

    Paige is on a journey to reclaim her “house.”

    The former Divas Champion — unseen in a WWE ring for more than a year — revealed she has returned to the WWE Performance Center, presumably beginning her return to active competition in WWE.

    “Went to see an old friend today,” she wrote. “Good to be back there! @wwe #RoadBackToMyHouse”

    Paige is a two-time Divas Champion and became the youngest Superstar to hold the title when she captured it during her Raw debut at the age of 21. If her return is imminent, as this post is leading many in the WWE Universe to believe, consider the women of Raw and SmackDown LIVE officially put on notice.”

    Though it’s worth mentioning here that the story does not clearly state that Paige visited the PC to train for her in-ring return and the caption of her photo also states that she went there to meet ‘an old friend’.

    Paige has been away from a WWE ring from well over a year now. She last appeared on WWE programming during the June 27, 2016, episode of Raw and underwent a neck surgery back in October last year.

    WWE Superstar Paige is back training at the Performance Center in Orlando ahead of her upcoming return to action. She’s been sidelined since undergoing neck surgery back in October 2016.

    While this is her first week back at the Performance Center, Paige has been training for several months now. Back in February, Paige was training at an MMA gym in New York City when Alberto El Patron was in town to promote an event for Combate Americas. This summer, Paige posted several photos on Instagram of herself taking boxing classes.

    During a recent interview with San Antonio’s KENS5, “Hopefully within the next couple of months, fingers crossed. Now I have to get cleared by WWE doctors.”

    Early Details On Paige’s Family Biopic ‘Fighting With My Family’

    As we’ve previously reported, former WWE Champion The Rock is producing a movie based around ex-WWE Divas Champ Paige and her wrestling family entitled, ‘Fighting With My Family.’

    The film is set to release in 2018 and has some big-name actors staring in it. Paige’s mother will be played by Lena Headey (Cersei on Game of Thrones), Florence Pugh will be portraying Paige, and Vince Vaughn also has a role in the film that is unknown.

    A recent report from Pro Wrestling Sheet shed some more light on the film. The report suggests that the movie actually “wasn’t bad” based on the reception from early screenings. The film captures Paige’s journey from the indie scene in England to her arrival in NXT. Her WWE Divas Title win over AJ Lee is also a part of the film, and was taped after an episode of Monday Night RAW a few months back.

    The acting in the film is also said to be strong and features an emotional ending to the movie. Despite this, it is still being described as  “paint-by-numbers and could’ve been pieced together from press releases and IMDB”

    The Rock will also be making a few appearances in the film in the form of backstage interactions with Paige at WWE events, and also reportedly has some good one-liners.

    Other WWE Superstars are expected to make appearances in the film, but the IMDB page for the movie only has Sheamus and the Big Show as the only other WWE Superstars in the movie thus far.

    Paige Not Being Charged For The Airport Incident, Case Reportedly Closed Now

    The infamous airport incident involving former WWE Star Alberto Del Rio and his girlfriend Paige has made a lot of headlines, though now it appears that this saga will finally be coming to an end.

    We noted before that Alberto Del Rio was no longer a suspect in the incident and now a latest report from TMZ has revealed that Paige is not being hit with domestic violence charge either.

    The Female WWE Star has previously admitted that she was the aggressor in the incident and she threw a drink on Alberto. After an investigation, the Orlando Police Department had recommended Paige to be charged for the incident.

    However, since Del Rio who is a victim in the case didn’t want to move forward with the charges, the case is now reportedly closed according to State Attorney’s Office.

    It’s worth mentioning here that Alberto was suspended by GFW due to his involvement in the incident, and his suspension has not been lifted yet.

    While many believed that the former GFW World Champion would be cleared to return before the GFW TV Tapings last week, he was instead stripped of the title by the Officials and currently there is no news on when or if he will return to the company.

    On the other hand, Paige who is still under a WWE contract has spoken about her WWE return multiple times in the past saying she is hopeful to come back very soon.

    Although WWE’s stand on the whole situation is not known and it’s doubtful if the company even wants the former Diva’s Champion to return.

    WWE Superstar Paige and former GFW Champion Alberto El Patron appeared at the Malik Rose Bowling Tournament on Monday in San Antonio, Texas. The event raised money for the Salvation Army’s Emergency Family Shelter.

    Chelsey Hernandez of KENS5’s was on the scene and asked Paige for an update on when she plans to be back on WWE television.

    Alberto El Patron On His GFW Suspension, Paige WWE Return Update

    Alberto El Patron and Paige appeared on Busted Open radio this afternoon with Bubba Ray Dudley and David LaGreca. During the interview, El Patron stated that he will be returning to Global Force Wrestling soon. El Patron is currently suspended from the company as they conduct their own investigation into the incident last month at the Orlando airport.

    GFW has live events this weekend and El Patron noted that he will not be appearing at those events. Patron stated that they have a date when his suspension will probably be lifted. GFW’s next television taping are set for August 17-20th in Orlando.

    Paige also discussed her career and if she will be making a return to WWE. Paige claimed that she will be making her return to WWE soon. She went on to say that she is waiting to hear back from her doctor after undergoing a CT scan during a checkup.

    Paige has not been in WWE since June of last year. She underwent neck surgery last October and was hoping to make her return to WWE this June but obviously didn’t happen. Paige stated that she was ready to get back to WWE and see Bayley, Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax. Paige noted that she was very happy to see Naomi become SmackDown Women’s Champion.

    Seth Rollins appears in the new film “Armed Response” that will be released on Friday, August 4th. The film also starts Wesley Snipes, Dave Annable, Anne Heche and Gene Simmons. The plot of the film is that a team of highly trained operatives become trapped inside a military compound after it’s AI gets shut down. Horrifying things begin happening to the crew as they try to figure out what killed the previous team in the compound. Below is a clip of “Armed Response” featuring Seth Rollins.

    WWE registered for “Taboo Tuesday” with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on July 24th. The last Taboo Tuesday event was held 12 years ago and then it was changed into Cyber Sunday, which came to an end in 2008. Time will tell if the old PPV concept shows up on new editions of SmackDown going forward. Cyber Sunday was a PPV which allowed fans to vote on match stipulations, opponents and more.

    As noted earlier, Mike Kanellis responded to fan that said that he was a joke in GFW and is still a joke in WWE.     A PWInsider reader sent them a video of Paige and GFW Champion Alberto El Patron attending a soccer game today in San Antonio, Texas. This is the couple’s first appearance in public since their incident at an airport in Orlando on July 9th. Patron is still under investigation for the incident and remains suspended from GFW.

    Filmmaker Max Landis, writer and director of “Wrestling Isn’t Wrestling”, created a petition to bring “Talking Smack” back to the WWE Network on a weekly basis. As of now, the petition has 12,126 signatures with a 15,000 signature goal. Below is Landis’ statement on the petition and you can sign it by clicking here.

    “Talking Smack,” the Smackdown Post show, was announced as cancelled today.  This is a huge loss for the WWE.

    “Talking Smack” was an innovative, engaging, compelling and reliably hilariously funny closer look at the characters and world of the WWE.  It drove deeper interest in characters who often didn’t get time to speak on television, and was home to some of the best segments in recent history.

    The informal style, spearheaded by the grounded, friendly conversational performance of host Renee Young and bolstered by Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon, who act like real people, shows a side of the wild storylines that makes even the most silly and ridiculous situation on Smackdown suddenly seem remarkably real, fun, and complex.

    Shows like “Talking Smack,” that broaden the world of the WWE Universe and give a looser-structured but tighter-focused look at the Superstars within it, are integral to growing interest in story-lines and characters; they are not just frosting.  I know this, because due to Talking Smack, I am a fan with a more vested and profound appreciation for Erick Rowan, The Usos, Alexa Bliss, and even more prominent characters like AJ Styles.

    WWE prides itself on hearing the voice of the WWE Universe, so let’s speak up.  Sign this petition, and let’s make it clear that WE, the WWE Universe, the $9.99ers and the crowds on Youtube who make WWE’s channel the second most watched content IN THE WORLD, want “Talking Smack” BACK.

    Stand up and shout loud for an uncommon, and uncommonly smart show.

    Paige Claims She Was Held For Battery During Domestic Incident With Alberto El Patron

    Global Force Wrestling announced earlier today that they have suspended GFW Champion Alberto El Patron indefinitely until his ‘domestic violence battery’ incident investigation is resolved. Paige once again took to Twitter today and stated that she was the one being held being held for battery charges because she threw a drink on Patron. Paige then called the person that leaked the audio of the incident a “disgusting, horrible human being of a lady”.

    Here are Paige’s comments today on Twitter:

    “Alberto didn’t want me to say the full story because he didn’t want people to know and I didn’t want people to know that I threw a drink on him.

    But the full story is.

    I had a phone call saying my uncle is in a bad way. I’m crying outside the restaurant. I go in, Alberto is hugging me. I’m a little sensitive and we start bickering about something so small. I say I’m leaving and he says something that I won’t write on here but it wasn’t nice and I, even though I shouldn’t have done it. I threw a drink in his face because I was so angry. Again. Shouldn’t have done it. It was in front of a lot of people.

    I walk out. He follows me a few seconds later and gets the cops and security and a crazy lady decides to leave whatever she’s doing to follow us and invade our privacy in the completely low way. Only low life people would do.

    Anyways. It was ME who was being held for battery charges because I threw a drink on him. No. He never touched me and no I never hit him with a glass 3 times like the internet in all their glory is making out. It’s completely ridiculous how one story can spiral out of control. Oh and guess what internet. He smelt like beer BECAUSE I THREW A BEER ON HIM. Nothing more. Nothing less. No one got arrested. There’s no mug shots. There’s no charges. Nothing.

    The horrible, disgusting human being of lady decided she wanted to make money out of our misfortune. I wish, WISH people would give us the privacy we deserve. I know we won’t get it. But I WISH that would happen.”

    Witness: Paige Called Alberto “Abusive”, said he “Ruined Her Career”

    The bystander/witness of the Alberto and Paige incident on Sunday gave her side of the story to reporters this morning. She has chosen to remain anonymous.

    Witness Statements on Alberto and Paige Domestic Battery Incident

    “They were arguing back and forth, screaming at each other,” stated the witness, who also described herself as a wrestling “superfan”.

    She also stated that Paige screamed at Del Rios that he had been “doing coke for two-days straight” and said “You’re so abusive to me”

    “He was soaked and she was saying, ‘You’re such an abusive husband, I hate you. You’ve ruined my life, you’ve ruined my career,’” the witness continued.

    As Paige was trying to flee from Alberto, he said out loud in the airport, “Check her bag, she’s got all the coke in it, it’s all hers,” the witness claims.

    She also stated that Del Rios wanted to call the cops on Paige for assaulting him.

    Zak Bevis, older brother of WWE Superstar Paige (Saraya Jade Bevis), has taken to Facebook to issue an emotional plea to his sister regarding her volatile relationship with Alberto El Patron. Zak accuses “control freak” Alberto of beating Paige. He’s concerned she will end up like Whitney Houston or Amy Winehouse, two celebrities whose lives were cut short due to drugs. He says the message is on behalf of his entire family.

    “Please share this, I want the world to know that i care about my lil sister.”
