Ludwig Kaiser: Penta Has Been Stealing Attention From Me In WWE

On the February 24, edition of WWE Raw, Ludwig Kaiser handed Penta his first loss on the red brand by winning a triple-threat that included Pete Dunne. The finish of the match saw Kaiser push Penta out of the ring so that he could captalize and pin the Bruiserweight.

In a WWE Digital Exclusive, Cathy Kelley alluded to Kaiser ‘stealing’ the win from Penta, an accusation the German rejected.

“Penta has been stealing attention from Ludwig Kaiser since the day he walked into this company, isn’t that right? And you’re standing here talking to me like I was stealing anything, no. I wasn’t stealing anything.”

Not only did Kaiser reject the idea that he ‘stole the win,’ but he shared to Kelley what he actually has been doing throughout his singles run.

“What I’ve been doing is working hard, being humble, going out there, hitting every ball they’re throwing at me out the park, that’s what I’ve been doing, I have not been stealing anything.”

Amidst all he’s been doing, Kaiser “punished” Penta this week by taking what Ludwig believes Penta cares about most, the attention that has been on the masked star since his arrival. Kaiser concluded by vowing that 2025 will be his year and that Penta will soon be “no more.”

Penta Discloses Longstanding Bicep Injury

Penta recently appeared on Celtic Warrior Workouts with Sheamus, where he disclosed that he has been wrestling with a “broken bicep” for the past three years.

During a workout session featuring bicep curls, Sheamus asked if the injury was a tear, to which Penta confirmed, “Yeah,” adding that it remains torn.

He revealed that the injury occurred when another wrestler kicked him, breaking his bicep. Despite never undergoing surgery, Penta stated he is still able to train and compete.

Despite the injury, Penta has remained active in the ring and recently competed on WWE Raw against Pete Dunne. Notably, he remains undefeated in singles competition within WWE.

Check out Penta’s “arm blast” workout with Sheamus for a unique look at the dangerous luchador outside the ring:

Penta Shares the Secret Technique Behind His Devastating Chops

If you think there’s some audible pops behind Penta’s chops, there’s a unique reason why and Sheamus sees it first hand, fella.

Penta and Pete Dunne went toe-to-toe on WWE Raw this past Monday and both stars used their unorthodox styles against one another in what became a highlight match of the evening. Penta, however, proved that he would continue to be hard to stop when he ultimately gained the victory against ‘The Brusierweight,’ but not before Ludwig Kaiser showed his face.

Penta actually showed his face on the latest “Celtic Warrior Workouts” with Sheamus. A partial reason that Penta gets such a reaction is his ability to lay in on the chops. While his striking may be nowhere near that devastation that Gunther possesses, the luchador told and showed Sheamus the extremely unique way that he gets himself ready to for such a strike fest in the ring. When he can, Penta plays handball for a full one hour before a workout and gave his reasoning as to why such an unexpected routine helps.

“You become faster, more dynamic, you know?”

Penta ended up whooping Sheamus in a game of handball 10 to 3 during the video, but also Sheamus gets made aware that Penta only has half a bicep in his left arm. However, Penta manages to make the adjustments and does an “arm blast” workout that becomes the feature focus for the episode. Penta shows Sheamus the several workouts he does to help not just his biceps but his triceps as well.

As it stands right now, there’s no surefire opponent for Penta at WrestleMania 41 but he did express a desire to face Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship.

WWE 2K25: Which Active Superstars Are Missing From The Game?

WWE 2K25 will boast the largest roster in a WWE video game in history with over 300 playable characters as well as managers and other personalities. While the game will indeed be bigger than ever, not everyone competing for the promotion has made it into WWE 2K25.

Just three Superstars from WWE’s main roster will not be included in WWE 2K25 when the game hits shelves next month. The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) will not be playable at launch. The former WWE Tag Team Champions joined the promotion in late 2024 and have been an intrinsic part of the SmackDown tag team roster ever since.

Penta is the third Superstar who won’t be a part of WWE 2K25 at launch. After a messy exit from AEW, the former Trios and Tag Team Champion arrived in WWE during the January 13, 2025, edition of WWE Raw. Since then, the masked star has quickly grown popular with the WWE Universe and was the Iron-Man in the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble match after lasting over 42 minutes.

MCMG Penta

H/T to @SmackTalks for uncovering this stat. Stay tuned to SEScoops for more interesting wrestling facts and statistics.

The exclusion of these three Superstar isn’t about their talent, but rather that the three only arrived recently in WWE, well during the creation of WWE 2K25. Many have predicted that Penta and the Guns will be a part of upcoming DLC for the game.

WWE 2K25 is set to release on March 14, with the Deadman and Bloodline Editions of the game set to release one week early for eager gamers. While Penta and the Guns won’t be available at the start, fans shouldn’t be surprised to see the trio added as fully-fledged playable creations down the line.

Ricky Starks In NXT & Every AEW Name To Sign With WWE

Ricky Starks has become the latest AEW alum to arrive in WWE as the former tag champion debuted during the February 11, edition of WWE NXT. Starks is not the only AEW name to go on to call WWE home, as he follows in the footstps of the following talents:

Cody Rhodes: A founding member of AEW, Cody Rhodes made a high-profile return to WWE at WrestleMania 38 in April 2022, reigniting his quest for a WWE World Championship.

Jade Cargill: After a dominant run as AEW’s TBS Champion, Cargill signed a multi-year contract with WWE in September 2023. She made her in-ring debut at the Royal Rumble in January 2024 and is a two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion.

CM Punk: Following a tumultuous tenure with AEW, CM Punk made a surprising return to WWE at Survivor Series in November 2023, marking a significant comeback after nearly a decade away from the company.

Penta: Formerly known as Pentagon Jr. in AEW, Penta debuted on WWE’s Raw in January 2025, securing a victory over Chad Gable. Becoming the Iron Man in this year’s Men’s Royal Rumble demonstrates WWE’s faith in the masked star.

Shawn Spears: After his AEW contract expired at the end of 2023, Spears returned to WWE in February 2024, appearing on NXT and continuing his “Chairman” persona. He has since been involved in various storylines, including a notable feud with Ridge Holland.

Blair Davenport: Briefly part of AEW under her real name, Bea Priestley, Davenport signed with WWE in 2021. She won the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge in 2023 and moving to the SmackDown roster in 2024 before her recent release from WWE.

Lexis King: After making waves in AEW under his real name of Brian Pillman Jr., Lexis King signed with WWE in 2024. He debuted on NXT, where he is the reigning NXT Heritage Cup holder, and retained the cup on this week’s NXT against TNA’s JDC.

Andrade: Andrade returned to WWE in the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble match after a handful of years in AEW. He has since gone on to hold the WWE Speed Championship.

Many former AEW names have gone on to hold championships in WWE while some are awaiting their big break. It remains to be seen what direction Starks’ future takes in the company but his arrival has left fans excited to see what’s to come.

Penta Recalls Emotional First Meeting With Rey Mysterio

Penta has revealed an emotional incident that made his first meeting with Rey Mysterio even more special.

The Master of 619 has been one of the top Luchadors competing in the wrestling world for over three decades. With his unprecedented success and popularity, there is no luchador of the new generation who hasn’t grown up watching the WWE Hall of Famer and considers the former World Champion his idol.

The newest WWE signee is no different, and for him, Rey has been a hero since his childhood. During his recent Interview with Chris Van Vliet, Penta talked about his admiration for the legendary wrestler. He recalled an incident from before he entered the wrestling world himself where he and his younger brother Rey Fenix attended a meet & greet event in hopes of meeting Mysterio in person:

“I don’t remember what year, but Rey Mysterio would go to Mexico for a meet and greet. But brother it is five blocks long for the line to see Rey Mysterio in Mexico City. Me and my brother are in the line for two hours, three hours, when somebody say, hey, Rey Mysterio is going to leave. Me and my brother running behind the car.

I want a picture with that, with him, but never. My brother is crying in this moment because my brother is six years younger than me. So after that, my brother is crying, ‘Hey, I want to see Rey.’ I say ‘Maybe one day, no worry.’ Because I’m older, no worry.”

It Was Magic For Me: Penta

The dream of meeting Mysterio in person would finally come true for the brothers year later when the WWE veteran came to a PWG show where both Penta and Fenix were competing:

“But my first time with Rey Mysterio was, I remember in PWG, in LA, Battle of Los Angeles, the tournament. Konnan came with Rey Mysterio to the show. I remember that I was in the locker room I see Rey. I go Rey! He speaks Spanish too. This is my first time, it was amazing and magic for me. I never forget that.”

The former AEW star also discussed the comparison to Mysterio after his Raw debut. He repeated his previous remarks saying that Rey is his role model but he wants to be remembered as the first Penta because their style is very different.

Penta’s WWE Hit List: John Cena, CM Punk & Cody Rhodes

Now that Penta El Zero Miedo has arrived in WWE, the question on every fan’s mind is: Who’s next?

In an interview with Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Penta revealed a stacked list of dream opponents—including some of WWE’s biggest names. While he’s ready to take on anyone, two matches stand out as personal goals: a showdown with John Cena and a rematch with CM Punk.

“I had one match with CM Punk. He won. I need revenge,” Penta declared. “The rematch with him, with Cody [Rhodes] too. But for me, a special dream match is Penta versus John Cena or Penta versus Finn Balor.”

The luchador also named Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, and Bron Breakker as potential opponents, proving he has his sights set on WWE’s top stars. But beyond individual matchups, Penta has one goal above all else: championship gold.

“No matter who is in the ring, no matter what he won—I want to win everything in WWE,” he said.

With Cero Miedo as his battle cry, Penta is ready to take on the best WWE has to offer. Now, it’s just a matter of who steps up first.

Cero Miedo: How Penta’s Catchphrase Became a Wrestling Phenomenon

Penta El Zero Miedo’s signature catchphrase, “Cero Miedo” (Zero Fear), has become one of the most recognizable phrases in professional wrestling. But according to Penta, its origins are rooted not in wrestling, but in Mexican music.

In his recent interview with Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Penta shared that the phrase comes from corridos, a popular Mexican music genre known for its storytelling. Specifically, he credits the band Los Buitres De Culiacan Sinaloa, whose songs frequently use the phrase “Cero miedo, mi compa”—which translates to “No fear, my friend.”

“The truth is, I love the Corridos,” Penta explained. “In my first interview in Triple A in Mexico, I needed to do a promo, and I was like, how do I finish it? Cero Miedo! Just like that. It was my reaction. And after that, everyone started saying it to me.”

Since then, Cero Miedo has become more than just a wrestling taunt—it’s a mindset. Fans around the world throw up Penta’s signature hand gesture and chant it in unison, while others have told him that the phrase has helped them overcome personal struggles.

“To be honest, Cero Miedo isn’t just a lucha thing anymore—it’s a lifestyle,” Penta said. “People have told me, ‘Penta, thanks for Cero Miedo. I conquered cancer.’ That’s when I realized the responsibility on my shoulders.”

With Penta now in WWE, Cero Miedo is poised to reach an even wider audience. And as the luchador himself puts it,

“I need to improve every day—my body, my mind, my soul—because I know I inspire a lot of people.”

Penta Wants a Clash with WWE IC Champion Bron Breakker

Since making his WWE debut, Penta has made an immediate impact with standout performances, including an explosive Royal Rumble showing where he lasted over 40 minutes before being eliminated by Finn Balor.

While he fell short of securing a WrestleMania main event spot (there’s always Elimination Chamber), the luchador has already identified his next challenge: Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker.

Bron Breakker
Penta eying the gold on Bron Breakker’s shoulder

Speaking with Between Two Beards for Love Wrestling ahead of the Royal Rumble, Penta praised Breakker, calling him “one of the best wrestlers in the world” and expressing excitement for a potential match.

“I like to face this kind of wrestler because it makes Penta more aggressive, more violent,” he said, adding that such a bout would be unlike anything WWE fans have seen from him so far.

Penta Rejects Rey Mysterio Comparisons

As one of WWE’s most high-profile masked luchadores, Penta has naturally drawn comparisons to Rey Mysterio. However, he made it clear that while he respects the Hall of Famer, he has no interest in being the next Mysterio—he wants to be the first Penta. In fact, he’s more than willing to go through Mysterio himself to make his mark in WWE.

With a fearless attitude and a “Cero Miedo” mindset, Penta is proving that he’s ready to carve out his own legacy in WWE, one hard-hitting match at a time.

Rey Mysterio Endorses Penta After Iconic Royal Rumble Moment

Wrestling legend Rey Mysterio is doubling down on his endorsement of Penta less than 24 hours after their surreal encounter in the 2025 WWE Royal Rumble.

During the match, the two luchadors shared a memorable handshake—an instant classic Royal Rumble moment. Following the event, the Hall of Fame icon posted a photo of the exchange on social media with the simple yet powerful caption: “Respect.”

Penta has long expressed deep admiration for Rey Mysterio, calling him a trailblazer who paved the way for luchadors in mainstream wrestling. He has also described sharing the ring with Mysterio as a career milestone, emphasizing his deep respect for the legend’s legacy.

Mysterio is also a fan of the man with Zero Fear. Following his impactful WWE debut at the Raw Neflix debut, Mysterio said:

“I’ve known Penta for quite some time now, and I’ve always envisioned Penta’s true home to be WWE. Well, he just went out there and proved to me and the whole world why he’s here.”

With their electrifying Royal Rumble moment still fresh in fans’ minds, speculation is growing about a potential one-on-one match at WrestleMania—an iconic stage worthy of such a historic showdown.

Penta Confronts Dominik Mysterio At WWE Royal Rumble Media Day

Penta El Zero Miedo and Dominik Mysterio nearly gave reporters a preview of what to expect when they potentially clash in the Men’s Royal Rumble match this Saturday.

Penta, formerly known as Pentagon Jr., signed with WWE earlier this month and made an immediate impact. He secured a victory over Chad Gable in his in-ring debut during the Raw on Netflix premiere episode.

As seen in the clip below, Penta and Mysterio had a heated confrontation. While it’s unclear what sparked the exchange, it was certainly a moment worth watching:

Mysterio had a busy and eventful 2024 in WWE, engaging in several high-profile feuds and matches. As a key member of The Judgment Day, he has consistently used his cunning and underhanded tactics to assist his stablemates.

Despite his heel persona, Dominik has become one of the most talked-about stars on Raw. His character work and in-ring performances have improved significantly, earning recognition from both fans and critics.

So far, other confirmed entrants in the Royal Rumble include John Cena, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Rey Mysterio, LA Knight, Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura, Logan Paul, Chad Gable, Bron Breakker, and Carmelo Hayes.

Penta: I Aim To Win Everything In WWE

On the January 13, edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, Penta made his debut with a hard-fought victory over Chad Gable. In a behind the scenes video, Penta shared that the show was “the best night of my life.”

When asked what’s next for him, WWE’s newest Superstar wasn’t picky about where this next chapter of his career will take him.

“Everything. I come here to give my best every show, every night, everything. I want to win everything here. I finally achieved my dream of being in WWE and today I don’t plan on quitting. I’ve come to win everything there is to win in WWE.”

Penta had been a part of AEW since 2019 prior to his arrival on Monay Night Raw earlier this month. In AEW, he became a Tag Team Champion with Rey Fenix and a Trios Champion alongside Fenix and Pac. Though many fans hoped to see Fenix and Penta leave AEW together, time added to Fenix’s contract prevented that from happening.

Rey Fenix Alludes To “Huge Injustice” In AEW Amid Hiatus

Penta’s debut is just the latest success story for an AEW alum in WWE. Cody Rhodes returned to WWE in 2022 to become the company’s top star while names including Jade Cargill and Ethan Page have seen championship success. It remains to be seen if Penta’s debut encourages anybody else in AEW to join WWE, but in the meantime, the masked star is ready to do it all as a Superstar.

Thunder Rosa Highlights Penta’s Struggles After Raw Debut

Thunder Rosa got emotional talking about Penta’s WWE debut.

The masked star defeated Chad Gable in his debut match on this week’s episode of Raw. The wrestling star’s whole family was at the ringside for this moment and their emotion showed what the night meant for the 39-year-old.

Thunder Rosa who has worked with the high-flying star in multiple different companies talked about the whole thing on Busted Open Radio recently. The former AEW Women’s Champion first highlighted the struggles of both Penta and his brother Rey Fenix from a very early age:

“Penta’s been a friend of mine for a while. I got really close once he came to AEW, I’ve worked with him since Lucha Underground. So I’ve seen his rise to every platform that he’s worked. Seeing him with his family, like his daughters, I met his daughters, I hang out with his daughters, his wife. It was very special, because he started working.

And his place of birth, which is Ecatepec de Morelos, which is one of the most dangerous places in Mexico City. Him and his brother worked so hard from, you know, carrying things in Mercado De Abastos [Farmer’s market], five, six days a week. Then they were training, and they were getting paid, literally, they call it Luchadores Moleros, which is they get paid by a soda and a plate of food.”

It Means A Lot: Thunder Rosa

Thunder Rosa herself got emotional discussing the importance of representation for the Hispanic community. She proclaimed that Penta’s debut is a proud moment for her:

“So just imagine that. That was like probably 20 years ago, when they both, both of them started. Seeing them how they have been able to transcend barriers in everything, because they both had to learn English at a older age.

Seeing what he said like it really got in my heart, because I’ve seen his struggles, and I sat with him and he’s all about business. He has a great influence in me, personally. I get a little emotional because at a time in where things are changing so quickly, seeing someone like that being an example of hard work takes you to places, and you will utilize every platform that you can to become successful, it means a lot.

Representation means everything. This is a beautiful moment for Hispanics in professional wrestling, because finally, we are seeing some change, and we’re seeing that they’re respecting our traditions and that we’re given a space where we can be ourselves. So that’s why I was so proud.”

Chelsea Green Open to Rematch With Penta In WWE: “Never Say Never”

Chelsea Green isn’t ruling out a rematch with WWE’s newest arrival, Penta, following the AEW alum’s debut on this week’s Monday Night Raw. In an interview with Cultaholic, Green was asked about the possibility of stepping back into the ring with Penta.

“Well look, never say never as Justin Bieber once said. Never say never. However, that was one of the craziest matches I’ve ever had in my entire entire life.”

– Chelsea Green on wrestling Penta again in WWE (Cultaholic)

The match in question occurred during their time in Lucha Underground, where Green competed as Reklusa. During Penta’s match with Chad Gable on Raw, commentator Michael Cole referenced the masked star’s history in the lucha-based promotion.

Chelsea Green vs. Penta (Lucha Underground)

Green “owes everything” to Penta for the match they had, as he “held my hand and wrestled me through that 15-minute match.” Even years later, the match is brought up by fans, demonstrating how significant the contest was for the reigning WWE Women’s United States Champion.

“It’s really interesting to see it kind of keep popping up and making a resurgence. Now that Penta’s with WWE I can’t wait to beat him up.”

While Green seems eager for a rematch, WWE’s stance on intergender wrestling could pose challenges. Historically, WWE’s intergender bouts often feature a weak or cowardly male wrestler being easily overpowered by their female counterpart. With Penta’s impressive debut on Raw, WWE is clearly positioning him as a dominant star, making a comedic match with Green unlikely.

Penta Arrives: Meet WWE’s New Dark Luchador

Bully Ray Impressed By Penta’s WWE Debut: ‘This Is How You Do It’

Bully Ray was very impressed by Penta’s WWE debut.

The company had originally teased the Luchador debuting in a tag team match with Rey Mysterio against New Day at Raw’s Netflix premiere. The officials, however, changed the plans at the last minute.

Putting him in a singles match against Chad Gable on the second week of Raw on Netflix instead allowed Penta’s debut to stand out. The change of plans paid out in the form of the whole segment becoming a huge viral topic on the internet.

The Hardcore Veteran discussed the effort WWE put in the former AEW star’s debut on the latest Busted Open. Bully Ray praised all aspects of Penta’s presentation, saying that the company captured lightning in a bottle with it:

“The way he was presented, the worst kept secret, the merchandise, having the masks ready to go. The entrance, the music, the pyro, the allowing him to take his time to get to the ring, the match time, the finish, the promo afterwards. The WWE told the entire world, ‘This is Penta. We’re giving him all the time he needs to get over on this night.’ WWE Universe, welcome Penta, Yada, Yada, Yada.

And oh, by the way, dear rest of the wrestling world, this is how it’s done. Do not underestimate the WWE telling the rest of the world, including one company in particular, this is how you do it. This is how you get somebody, right. This is how you help capture somebody’s lightning in a bottle in all aspects of their character, not just the moves.”

Bully Ray also said that Penta reminds him of both Rey Mysterio and LA Parka because he can not only do the high-flying moves but he is also a very entertaining star.

The ECW original wasn’t the only one who was impressed by Penta’s arrival. Both Rey Mysterio and Rey Fenix also praised his first showing in WWE. You can check out the latter’s reaction here.

Rey Mysterio Endorses Penta After Debut In “True Home” WWE

WWE’s newest arrival, Penta, received a significant endorsement during this week’s Raw from one of the most celebrated masked wrestlers of all time, Rey Mysterio. In an interview with Jackie Redmond during a commercial break, the Hall of Famer shared his thoughts on Penta’s WWE debut.

“I’ve known Penta for quite some time now, and I’ve always envisioned Penta’s true home to be WWE. Well, he just went out there and proved to me and the whole world why he’s here.”

Penta’s impactful debut came at the expense of Chad Gable, who had previously demanded a match with a luchador from Adam Pearce. Before the show, WWE released Penta merchandise, leading fans to speculate that his in-ring debut was imminent.

In recent weeks, vignettes highlighting the arrival of a new Superstar were aired, with last week’s video confirming that Penta was coming to WWE. On commentary, Michael Cole acknowledged that Penta’s debut had been the “worst kept secret in the business.” Pat McAfee similarly said that Penta’s arrival was too big a secret for WWE to keep.

Rey Fenix Reacts To Penta’s WWE Raw Debut

Penta departed AEW last year, though Rey Fenix remains under contract despite being off television for months. With Penta’s WWE career starting strong on Monday Night Raw, fans are eager to see what’s next for the Zero Miedo star on a roster stacked with talent.

Rey Fenix Reacts To Penta’s WWE Raw Debut: “I Am So Proud”

Rey Fenix could not be happier to see his brother Penta make his WWE debut during the latest edition of Monday Night Raw. On Instagram, Fenix shared some photos of himself and Penta and spoke highly of the red brand’s newest Superstar.

Congratulations carnal!

Hands down MY FAVORITE FIGHTER!
You deserve all the best for everything you’ve worked for, the FIGHTER #1.
I am so proud to be your brother and watch you have achieved all your dreams, I LOVE YOU and SCARY.

Fenix debuted inside the SAP Center in San Jose, California as the mystery opponent of Chad Gable, who’d demanded a match with the best luchador in the world. In the weeks prior, vignettes had aired, teasing Penta’s arrival. The masked star parted ways with AEW in late 2024 after a five-year stint with Tony Khan’s promotion.

Penta Merch Already Available On WWEShop.com

Penta certainly made a splash in his WWE debut but many fans are hoping to see Rey Fenix join his brother. Fenix has reportedly had time added to his contract in AEW, despite not being used by the promotion in months. The former International Champion has alluded to mistreatment by the company, including being ignored when he needed medical help, those has since deleted these tweets.

It remains to be seen if Rey Fenix joins Penta in WWE, but the latter is off to a strong start already. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Penta and his journey as a WWE Superstar.

Penta Arrives: Meet WWE’s New Dark Luchador

The wrestling world is abuzz as Penta, one of the most enigmatic and celebrated luchadores, made his WWE debut tonight on Monday Night Raw (January 13, 2025).

Over the past few weeks, WWE has aired cryptic vignettes teasing the arrival of a mysterious figure, culminating in last week’s reveal: Penta is coming.

Known for his iconic catchphrase, “Cero Miedo!” (Zero Fear), Penta embodies a fearless approach both in and out of the ring. This rallying cry has become a mantra for fans worldwide, symbolizing his unshakable confidence and indomitable spirit.

Who is Penta?

Penta is a global wrestling sensation whose name carries weight in the industry. Throughout his storied career, he’s competed under various names—such as Penta El Zero Miedo, Penta El Zero M, Penta Oscuro, Pentagon Dark, Pentagon Jr., and Dark Dragon—each reflecting a unique chapter in his evolution as a performer.

Where He’s Wrestled

Penta, an AEW original and one-half of the high-flying tag team The Lucha Bros alongside his brother Rey Fenix, has made a significant impact in the world of professional wrestling. He has left an indelible mark in various promotions, most notably in Lucha Underground, where he gained widespread recognition. Penta has also showcased his talents in TNA/Impact Wrestling and Major League Wrestling (MLW). Additionally, he has built a strong reputation across Mexico’s lucha libre circuits, cementing his status as a versatile and dynamic performer in both tag team and singles competition.

In-Ring Style

Penta’s ring style is a dynamic fusion of traditional lucha libre and hard-hitting modern wrestling. He is known for his aggressive and impactful moves, combining high-flying maneuvers with brutal strikes and innovative drivers. His signature “Cero Miedo” (Zero Fear) attitude is reflected in his fearless approach to high-risk moves. Pentagon’s arsenal includes a variety of kicks, including superkicks and shin kicks, as well as innovative variations of piledrivers and suplexes.

His finishing moves, such as the Fear Factor (Package Piledriver) and the Pentagon Driver (Pumphandle Driver), showcase his power and technical skill. While he doesn’t rely heavily on aerial moves, he does incorporate topes and hurricanranas into his matches when needed. Penta’s style is further characterized by his taunting and charismatic in-ring presence, which, combined with his brutal moveset, has earned him comparisons to wrestling legends and the nickname “Lucha Stone Cold”.

The Road to WWE

After a successful run in AEW, Penta decided it was time to test himself in WWE, seeking to thrive on the global stage that WWE offers. While Rey Fenix remains in AEW, rumors suggest he may follow Penta to WWE when his extended contract expires.

Pentagon’s arrival is particularly significant as WWE expands its global reach. With Monday Night Raw now airing live on Netflix worldwide, his debut gives him a platform to connect with an even broader audience. His popularity spans continents. His lucha libre roots in Mexico make him a hero to Latin American wrestling fans, while his runs in the U.S., Japan, and beyond have earned him a loyal, international fan base.

His signing bolsters WWE’s presence in key global markets, especially those with a strong wrestling tradition. Pentagon Jr.’s arrival is a major moment for WWE, signaling their commitment to diversifying the roster and appealing to fans worldwide. With his reputation as one of the best in the business and his fearless “Cero Miedo” attitude, Penta is poised to leave his mark in WWE.

Penta Merchandise Launches Ahead of WWE Raw Debut

Pentagon Jr., one of the most electrifying wrestlers in the industry, has launched a brand-new merchandise line on WWE Shop just hours ahead of his highly anticipated television debut on WWE Raw.

Fans can showcase their “Cero Miedo” spirit with exclusive WWE-licensed gear, including t-shirts, sweatshirts, and a replica mask inspired by Pentagon Jr.’s iconic look. A product description for one of the shirts reads:

“Cero Miedo! For Penta, it’s not just a phrase. He has no fear of anyone or anything and is driven to be as aggressive as possible to reach his goals. Show that you also live life without fear by grabbing this Penta Logo T-Shirt. The mysterious logo printed across the chest leaves no doubt you’re eager to see the WWE’s newest dark luchador dive upon and dominate those daring to stand in his path.”

It may not seem like much, but the merchandise listings provide a fair amount of new information regarding how he’ll be presented in WWE:

  • His ring name will be Penta
  • He’ll continue using his “Cero Miedo!” catchphrase
  • Penta referred to as WWE’s “newest dark luchador”
  • What his mask will look like
