Also note, the magazine refers to the film as Inside Out, but it has since been changed to The Chaperone. The film is currently being filmed in New Orleans, Louisiana.

— R-Truth revealed in an interview with WWE Magazine that he has another entrance theme in the works which would be specifically performed at pay-per-view events.

Injury Updates On Kelly Kelly, R-Truth & Cody Rhodes

(source: PWInsider.com)

— Kelly Kelly was cleared to wrestle at last night’s SmackDown live event in Worcester, Massachusetts, so it appears her injury from the previous night was not serious. The SmackDown Diva’s bout with Layla was prematurely concluded by the referee after she took a bad shot to either the neck or shoulder.

— To correct an earlier report, R-Truth did not suffer a knee injury at Saturday evening’s Raw live event in Youngstown, Ohio, but rather a pulled groin. He is attempting to work through the injury. Like Kelly, his match came to an abrupt conclusion as a result of injury.

— Cody Rhodes, who took a bad hit to the head at Saturday night’s SmackDown live event in Portland, Maine, is apparently fine. He worked last night’s show in Worcester, losing to Kofi Kingston. It was initially feared that he had suffered a concussion, but it is now believed to not be the case.

R-Truth Injured Saturday Night, Del Rio Debuts On SmackDown

— R-Truth reportedly tweaked his knee during his Triple Threat Match against The Miz and Mark Henry at last night’s Raw brand house show.

Immediately following the conclusion of the match, which saw Miz pin R-Truth, the referee threw up the “X” signal. The former United States Champion was assisted by medical personnel to the backstage area.

R-Truth was the third wrestler to require medical assistance Saturday night as Kelly Kelly and Cody Rhodes suffered injuries during their respective matches at the SmackDown live event taking place in Portland, Maine.

— As seen on Friday’s SmackDown, a pre-taped vignette was aired featuring an individual by the name of Alberto Del Rio, who claimed to be the “only real honest man.” Del Rio, who’s real name is Alberto Rodríguez, has ties to some of the most well known Mexican wrestlers as he is the son of luchador Dos Caras, as well as the nephew of Mil Mascaras and Sicodelico. Del Rio previously competed in Mexico under the name Dos Caras, Jr., a masked wrestler. He reportedly signed a three-year contract with WWE last June and had been working non-televised matches since April, both masked and unmasked.

Orton Says His Injury Isn’t Serious, Virgil To Be Written Out

(sources: Pro Wrestling Torch, Wrestling Observer Newsletter)

— Randy Orton has told friends he doesn’t expect his shoulder injury to keep him out of action for long. While he initially feared the worst when he suffered the injury at Over The Limit, it appears he will be healed in time for next month’s Fatal 4-Way pay-per-view, which he is advertised for.

Though Orton appeared to suffer the injury during his match with Edge on Sunday, he entered the match hurt. He worked a tag match with John Cena against Batista and Sheamus the previous night and was nursing the arm late in the bout. It doesn’t appear a bump caused the injury as after making a tag to Cena, he immediately grabbed his arm and held it in pain for the remainder of match.

— Ted DiBiase suffered a concussion very early in his match with R-Truth this past Sunday night at Over The Limit when Truth slapped him across the face and knocked him loopy. An audible was called due to the injury, as DiBiase was tabbed to blame Virgil for his loss, subsequently knocking him out with the Dream Street. It remains unclear at this time whether Santino Marella hitting Virgil with the Vulcan Neck Pinch in a comedy segment the following night on Raw constituted his character being written off, or if it will happen within the next few weeks.

Regarding DiBiase, he won’t be allowed to wrestle until medically cleared. He is expected to be kept out the ring for a few weeks so he can heal.

Update On DiBiase’s Concussion, Virgil, More Expected Call-ups

(source: f4wonline.com)

– Ted DiBiase suffered a concussion very early in his match with R-Truth this past Sunday night at Over The Limit when Truth slapped him across the face and knocked him loopy. Despite this, DiBiase continued to work, taking several more bumps before the bout was prematurely concluded.

DiBiase is expected to be kept out the ring for a few weeks so he can heal. He did not compete at last night’s Raw taping in Toledo, Ohio.

– Mike Jones, who was brought back to WWE to reprise his “Virgil” bodyguard character, is working on a show-by-show basis. It remains unclear at this time whether he will be a permanent fixture on Raw.

– The decision to debut “the mystery trio” seen last night on Raw was made last week after plans for The Colóns to feud with The Hart Dynasty were dashed as a result of Carlito’s refusal to enter a company-mandated rehabilitation program. More call-ups from developmental are expected as it believed that one or two more FCW workers will be summoned to the main roster in the near future.

– The submission hold Batista has been utilizing as of late was featured on Blake Norton’s recently released documentary profiling WWE Hall of Famer Stu Hart, Surviving the Dungeon. In the piece, Hart can be seen placing the scissored armbar on Norton and referring to it as “The Stu Lock.”

Undertaker Returning This Week, New U.S. Champion Crowned

– WWE has confirmed that Undertaker will make his return this Friday night on SmackDown.

– Bret Hart vacated the United States Championship on RAW in order to assume his new role as Raw General Manager. Hart then made the decision to pit R-Truth against The Miz. Ultimately, Truth trumped The Miz to capture the first “major title” of his WWE career — he previously won the Hardcore Championship on two occasions.

– The two WWE Superstars matches were taped before Raw were Yoshi Tatsu vs. Primo and Zack Ryder vs. Evan Bourne.

– WWE has registered a trademark for the upcoming film That’s What I Am.

Other trademarks registered include the term “Famous & Flawless” for Team Lay-Cool as well as all eight NXT Rookie names.

Update On Bret Hart & The U.S. Title, Cena vs. Edge Advertised

— Bret Hart canceled his appearance at the BTW WrestleFest convention yesterday in Fremont, California due to a scheduling conflict with his Calgary Hitmen hockey team. He noted on his official website that the Hitmen were in a semi-final game last night in Brandon, Manitoba with the championship game scheduled for today. Furthermore, he expects to be on hand for tomorrow night’s Raw in Toledo, Ohio, but as of yesterday, wasn’t completely sure.

Regarding the United States Championship, upcoming Raw live events list three-way U.S. Title bouts between R-Truth, The Miz and Ted DiBiase. It’s expected that one of the three will receive the belt once Hart’s run as champion concludes.

— Matches pitting John Cena against Edge with the WWE Championship on the line are advertised for upcoming Raw live events.

Cena Addresses Carlito’s Release, Reason For R-Truth’s Absence

— John Cena said today on his Twitter account that he was “sad to hear” about Carlito’s release from WWE. WWE announced yesterday that he was released due to a violation of the company’s drug testing program and subsequent refusal to attend a rehabilitation facility.

“I am sad to hear WWE has decided to release Carlito,” Cena wrote on Twitter. “I always thought he could, and should have accomplished more than he did. I wish him the best.”

Jim Ross also addressed Carlito’s release, writing on Twitter: “Too bad to hear Carlito got released 4 wellness issues. Talented young man. Hope he gets back on track. The ball’s n his court. Pulling 4 him.”

R-Truth Missing SD Tonight, Why The Bella Twins Missed Raw

— Conspicuous by their absence last night on Raw were the Bella Twins as they did not appear on the show for the first time in several weeks. The twin duo missed last night’s show in Minneapolis in order to help designers involved with the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition reality show tear a house down tonight in South Carolina. In addition to the Bellas, fellow WWE stars Big Show and R-Truth are tagging along as well. Hence, R-Truth will miss tonight’s SmackDown/ECW taping in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

The family being spotlighted are big WWE fans, hence the sports entertainment company’s involvement with the program. When asked why he decided to be involved with Extreme Makeover, Big Show responded with the following: “A chance to make an influence, a positive influence, for a family like this is great. You have to be a cold hearted person not to have tears in your eyes. Truly amazing to give something like this to the family.”

The Bellas noted their involvement with the program on their Twitter account this evening, writing: “Away doing something special Twitterworld… We’ll be back in a few days :) Peace Love & Twins! B&N”

Triple H High On Young Superstar, Backstage DX Story

— Sources say that Triple H is quite high on Drew McIntyre and is one of the driving forces behind the young wrestler’s current push. Vince McMahon has also singled McIntyre out as somebody he sees to have great potential.

— Speaking of Drew McIntyre, there was a minor backstage issue with his Hell in a Cell opponent R-Truth at last week’s pay-per-view. According to F4Wonline.com, R-Truth was preparing to go out to the ring when a WWE producer told him to remove the camouflage vest he was wearing because that’s now DX’s thing. He approached Stephanie McMahon about the issue, who said that he should probably discuss the issue with Triple H. At that point, R-Truth decided to take the vest off and head to the ring for his match without it.
