– As previously reported, Chris Sabin has announced that he is now officially a free agent. TNA confirmed the news by moving his profile page from their active roster section to their alumni section.

– According to WrestlingFigs.com, Rob Van Dam will appear at Hollywood Book & Poster table at the Los Angeles Comic Book & Science Fiction Convention at the Shrine Auditorium Expo Center 700 West 32nd St. Los Angeles, California, this Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
– Monday’s Raw saw the return of the Ric Flair to WWE, who presented the “Superstar of the Year” Slammy Award and encountered CM Punk, Paul Heyman and The Shield. The legendary grappler’s former TNA Wrestling colleagues, Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff, weighed in on his return via Twitter.
“Great to see Flair doing his thing again,” Hogan wrote shortly after his Raw appearance.
Bischoff noted that he is “Very happy for Ric Flair.”
– ODB attempts to make “The List” in this week’s show. The synopsis states, “Robbie E has ODB waiting for her spot on the list and being in the holiday spirit he decides to make a deal with ODB.”
– Former WWE talent Shawn Spears competed in a dark match following Thursday’s live Impact Wrestling episode, as he lost to Joey Ryan. Spears briefly competed on WWE’s ECW brand in 2008 as Gavin Spears.
In a match taped for an upcoming episode of TNA Xplosion, TNA World Tag Team Champions Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez faced Robbie E and Robbie T.
– European bookmaker Paddy Power have launched a new “Hulkamania” licensed online slot machine. Hulk Hogan had previously given his image to American land-based casinos but this marks Hogan’s first online casino venture. – Spike TV cameras were on hand for Wednesday night’s Ohio Valley Wrestling television taping in Louisville, Kentucky as footage of King Mo training and watch action from ringside was shot. The footage will air on an upcoming Spike TV special centered on the combatant.
– Though presently the bodyguard for TNA Wrestling star Robbie E, Rob Terry aspires to come into his own and become the star attraction of the Orlando-based promotion.
“My goal in the wrestling world is to become the Impact Wrestling world heavyweight champion and the face of Impact Wrestling,” he told BodyBuilding.com in an interviews. “I’d love to meet as many of my loyal supporters as I can. Impact Wrestling has some of the best fans in the world.”
He also revealed that his dream opponent is Hulk Hogan. Regarding “The Hulkster,” he states, “He has done so much in this industry and was one of the first wrestlers to inspire me.”
The 6-foot-5, 295 pounds grappler uses bodybuilding to hone his massive physique and competitive edge. He says of his overall philosophy on training, “My philosophy on training boils down to one thing and one thing only: intensity. Intensity is what I bring to the wrestling ring and to the weight room; it’s what takes me out of my comfort zone and pushes me to the next level. There are many training routines out there. People tend to jump from one program to another. I believe that no matter what program you’re using, if you apply intensity, believe in what you’re doing, and give 100%, you’re going to grow.”

– TNA Wrestling has parted ways with two British talents in Mark Haskins and Winter, PWInsider.com reports. The organization released Haskins from his contract and opted not to renew the former Women’s Knockout Champion’s deal after it expired last week. Both individuals have been removed from the company website’s roster page, thus confirming their respective departures.
Haskins had not appeared for the promotion since a January 2012 Impact Wrestling taping in his home country where he lost to Austin Aries in an X Division Championship Match. During the match, Haskins suffered a concussion and a neck injury, rendering him inactive for several months.
Winter’s official fansite, K-Waters.net, first announced last week that she had parted ways with the company. The website stated, “Just wanted to make an update and let everyone know Kat’s contract with TNA is officially up! Which means she is free to do DVDs, bookings, iPPVs, and whatever else! If interested please send emails to infamousbookings@hotmail.com.”
– During Thursday’s episode of Impact Wrestling, former WWE Superstar Carlito joked on Twitter that TNA should favor Rob Terry and his ilk over wrestlers of the X Division.

– While he didn’t win the Television Title at last night’s Sacrifice pay-per-view, Rob Terry won the OVW Heavyweight Title at OVW’s Saturday Night Special event this weekend.
– Bobby Roode is on the verge of becoming long longest running TNA World champion, if he can make it through this week’s Impact Wrestling tapings without dropping the title. The current record is held by AJ Styles, who was champion for 211 consecutive days.
TNA sources indicate that Roode is scheduled to hold the title until James Storm returns.
Mr. Anderson, who has not appeared for TNA Wrestling since the November 15, 2011 Impact Wrestling taping, is scheduled to return to the ring at this week’s Impact Wrestling World Tour in Worcester, Plymouth and Lowell, Massachusetts. He will be teaming with Rob Van Dam (who was stretchered backstage two weeks ago at Genesis after taking a DDT onto the concrete floor) at all three shows in matches against Mexican America members Anarquia and Hernandez.
Mexican America members Rosita and Sarita are also advertised to team, which they rarely do at house shows. They will be facing Brooke Tessmacher and ODB at all three events.

— ImpactWrestling has announced that Jeff Hardy will be getting another shot at Bobby Roode’s World Heavyweight Championship this Thursday on Impact Wrestling in a rematch from Sunday’s Genesis pay-per-view.
In another Genesis rematch, “Cowboy” James Storm will square off against Kurt Angle in a match to determine the #1 Contender to the World Heavyweight Championship.
Matt Morgan and Crimson are advertised to compete this Thursday against Rob Terry and Television Champion Robbie E.
— Sarita stated Wednesday on Facebook that she will be wrestling at this Friday’s Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre event at Arena Mexico. The TNA Knockout has not competed since taking a scary fall during a two out of three falls tag team match at the same venue on November 22, 2011. She slipped on the top rope while attempting to dive and fell flat on her face onto the wooden floor. She was placed on a stretcher while the match continued and subsequently hospitalized.
– During a recent interview with the UK’s The Skinny, TNA star Ric Flair revealed he has no plans to retire any time soon.
“To be honest I have no plans on retiring from the industry anytime soon. I feel that I still have so much to give to TNA. If the time ever comes that I cannot contribute anything to the company that is when I would have to consider my position within TNA.”
“I am privileged that I have a limited schedule in TNA so my time in many respects is my own. Just now I like to spend time with my family and love to do some fishing. When I retire I’ll be doing more of the same.”
– With TNA’s recent announcement that they have a working relationship with Ihio Valley Wrestling, the company sent its first two stars to OVW this week to begin training there. Rob Terry and Anarquia appeared at Tuesday night’s OVW event from from New Albany, Indiana at the National Guard Armory.
– AJ Styles and The Pope will be headed to Mexico on December 16th for AAA’s Guerra de Titanes pay-per-view. AJ will face El Mesias while Pope will team with Gunner and Chessman to face Los Psycho Circus in six-man action.
– The first TNA Impact Wrestling tapings of 2012 will take place on January 9th, 10th, 11th, 16th and 17th.
— James Storm says he has not been cleared to wrestle for another two weeks after visiting a specialist on Sunday to determine his recovery from a concussion.
“Thanks for all the wishes but wasn’t cleared to WRESTLE yet. Another check up in 2 weeks,” Storm wrote Monday.
— A match pitting Samoa Joe against Doug Williams was taped Monday in Orlando, Florida for next week’s episode of TNA Xplosion. It marks as Joe’s first appearance on the program since February 2006.

The Welsh bodybuilder has been on the losing end of numerous matches as of late not to mention left off television tapings entirely. One company source noted that past supporters of Terry are distancing themselves from him.
— It was announced on Thursday’s episode of iMPACT! that Shore would debut on the Oct. 7 live show.
The Shore gimmick was inspired by the stars of MTV’s reality show Jersey Shore and comprises indy workers Rob Eckos and Becky Bayless. Both wrestlers were signed to talent contracts following tryout matches last month.
— Madison Rayne was on hand for Saturday night’s Ohio Championship Wrestling event in Zanesville, Ohio as she took on former tag team partner Nevaeh. The TNA Knockout, who recently dyed her hair dark brunette, came out victorious.
— TNA Wrestling officials have discussed using former ECW World Heavyweight Champion Justin Credible at next month’s Hard Justice pay-per-view, reports the Pro Wrestling Torch. However, it has not been confirmed that he will be working the show, or if he has even been contacted to appear.
Credible briefly appeared with TNA in 2003, forming a stable with several other ECW alumni and reviving his feud with Jerry Lynn.
— TNA Wrestling officials have declined signing Washington D.C. based independent women’s wrestler Mia Yim to a contract following her tryout match with Taylor Wilde before an iMPACT! television taping last month. The reason cited was that there were no open spots for her in the company’s Knockouts division.
“No open spots for me at TNA,” Yim wrote on her Twitter account. “It’s ok, keep an eye out for me because I am just getting started.…Who knows what will happen in the future.”
— A number of wrestling personalities were on hand for the 5th Annual NPC Bill Grant Bodybuilding & Figure Classic held in Allentown, Pennsylvania over the weekend including TNA wrestler Rob Terry, Alicia Webb (a/k/a Ryan Shamrock), April Hunter and JD Michaels.
— Contrary to reports stating Maria Kanellis has been negotiating with TNA Wrestling officials, the former WWE Diva said in a recently filmed “shoot” interview with Highspots.tv that while she has received overtures from people affiliated with the organization, she has not had any official conversation or offer. As stated in previous interviews, she has not, however, ruled out joining the promotion in the future.
— A number of wrestlers have been complaining as of late over the company’s decision to prominently feature Rob Terry, as well as Jesse Neal and newcomer Rosie Lottalove, on television. Many in the locker room feel the Team 3D Wrestling Academy students are not ready to be featured on national television and should still training.
— Ashley Fliehr, daughter of Ric Flair, married long-time boyfriend Riki Johnson this past Sunday. His older daughter Megan married for a second time several weeks ago. Flair left for the UK directly after Ashley’s wedding to promote TNA’s upcoming tour there.
— On Twitter, when asked whether he watches TNA Wrestling, Steve Austin replied: “yes i do watch TNA. lots of friends there. they have some good talent.”
He also said last week that “they will never catch WWE” and felt they needed to be different than them. However, he also wished them luck and said competition is good.
— It’s worth noting that Orlando Jordan has not appeared on TNA programming in over a month — not since the Feb. 18th edition of iMPACT! when he garnered a shocking victory over Samoa Joe. Though his character has not been featured since, he continues to tell people that he will play a bisexual character on television. Furthermore, the decision to not air footage of Jordan and his male companion groping one another during his Feb. 18 ring entrance was actually made while it was happening live, according to a company source. — According to the official TNA website, Rob Terry vs. Brutus Magnus for the TNA Global Championship is back on for Sunday’s Destination X pay-per-view. The match was removed earlier in the week but is once again being advertised.
