Report: Roman Reigns Kicks RAW Star Off Of WWE Talent Bus

According to a report by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Roman Reigns stepped up to help take control of a situation that upset several people on a WWE talent bus weeks ago.

A disturbance was allegedly caused by Enzo Amore, which prompted Reigns to get up out of his seat and kick Amore off the bus. There are no details on what exactly Amore did to upset the other passengers.

Enzo reportedly has a lot of backstage heat with the WWE roster, and has been kicked out of more than one dressing room according to the report by Dave Meltzer.

Roman Reigns Explains Why He Shouldn’t Turn Heel

Roman Reigns gets booed out of nearly every building he steps into, prompting the question all WWE fans have been asking lately – why doesn’t he just turn heel? Despite the crowd’s negative reaction to him, the WWE continues to push Reigns as their top baby face and likely the future face of the company.

“The Big Dog” recently did an interview in which he touched on the possibility of turning heel, and explained why he doesn’t think he should:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQlQAbh7GsE

“Whatever we’ve been doing, it seems to be working. It continues to have loud reactions. Nobody has been to more wrestling shows than me, you know what I mean? I watch every show. I understand reactions. You can be as informed within the wrestling community and the internet as you want but there’s one thing that I know and that’s listening to what kind of reactions are happening.”

“One thing I like about my situation, I think if I were to commit to one (role) ‘I’m a bad guy now, I’m pissed and I’m just gonna try to take everybody’ then it’s just only one (reaction) like, ‘boo.’ But when I’m out there, there’s all kinds of noise. There’s all kinds of chants. It’s pandemonium. I like a mixed reaction. I like people competing as to which is going to be louder, the boos or the cheers. I just want to bring out the most in our fans, give them an opportunity to rage or to fulfill themselves with joy. They spend their hard-earned money, I want them to have a phenomenal experience.”

Roman Reigns Calls Out The Undertaker For Rematch at Live Event (Video)

Roman Reigns joined an extremely exclusive club at WrestleMania 33 last April, as he became the second only man to have ever defeated future WWE Hall Of Famer The Undertaker at “The Show Of Shows.” Brock Lesnar became the first man to break “The Streak” when he defeated Taker at WrestleMania 30 in New Orleans.

After his loss to Reigns, Taker left the ring in a manner that signaled it may have been his last dance inside the squared circle. Plenty of rumors have been circulating as of late in regards to a potential rematch between the pair, and Reigns addressed these in a recent promo he cut at a WWE Live Event. After his match in Singapore, “The Big Dog” got on the mic and said, “if the Deadman wants to fight the big dog he knows exactly where to find him.”

Roman Reigns Will Main Event WWE SummerSlam

Roman Reigns has been hyping a big announcement for this week’s RAW and the Big Dog delivered. Reigns opened the show on Monday night and announced that he is the next #1 contender for the Universal Championship. Reigns’ championship opportunity will take place at SummerSlam next month.

Fun fact – today (6/19) marks one year since Roman Reigns last held the WWE Championship.

Brock Lesnar is the reigning Universal Champion, but a Reigns vs. Lesnar showdown is far from a done deal. Before training for a main event scheduled for late August, Lesnar will have his hands full at Great Balls of Fire (7/) when he makes his first championship defense against Samoa Joe.

Reigns vs. Lesnar is rumored for next year’s WrestleMania main event, so that match taking place at SummerSlam seems unlikely. Joe could defeat Brock Lesnar at Great Balls of Fire, but that is also a long shot. Either way, the stakes just raised even higher for Great Balls.

WWE SummerSlam takes place on Sunday, August 20th from Brooklyn, New York.

Roman Reigns: Not Everyone Will Like My Announcement Monday

WWE and Roman Reigns are promoting that Reigns will make a big announcement Monday. The belief is that what Roman has to say will impact his role at this year’s SummerSlam.

Roman Reigns Speculation

The comment “No everyone is going to like what I say”, doesn’t reveal too much, as there are always people who don’t like anything Roman has to say. The most likely scenario is that Roman requests a match with a “good guy”.

With John Cena being advertised as a “free agent”, one has to wonder if Roman’s announcement could have something to do with him.

Rumors: What Will Roman Reigns Big SummerSlam Announcement Be?

As mentioned on last night’s (Mon. June 12, 2017) episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, Roman Reigns will be making an announcement regarding his plans for the WWE’s SummerSlam pay-per-view (PPV) on next week’s episode. Reigns comes off of a loss at Extreme Rules in a Fatal Five-Way main event in which he, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, and Bray Wyatt saw Samoa Joe emerge victorious.

The following night on RAW, Reigns defeated Bray Wyatt in one-on-one competition and hasn’t been seen since. As for what Reigns big announcement could be, rumors and speculation indicate that everything could tie into John Cena’s ‘Free Agent’ return on SmackDown Live next month, setting up a bout between Cena and Reigns.

It’s also possible, but highly unlikely, that Reigns could challenge the winner of the Universal Tite match between Brock Lesnar and Samoa Joe at Great Balls Of Fire. That would be a surprise to many, however, as Reigns vs. Lesnar is expected to go down at WrestleMania 34 next year for the Universal Title.

Roman Reigns Schools Fans On Twitter Who Say He Sucks & Didn’t Earn His Spot

Roman Reigns shut down a “wrestler in training” who was talking trash about him on Twitter.

Over the weekend, a fan replied to a tweet from WWE saying “Roman can’t wrestle.” A Roman Reigns fan account defended him, which led to self proclaimed “Future pro wrestler, currently in training” Ian Porter chiming in, saying Roman sucks because ‘he’ll only use 4 actual wrestling moves’ in a 30 minute match.

Reigns caught wind of the exchange and delivered a harsh dose of reality to Porter. You can check out the full exchange below:

Another Twitter user told Reigns that his “sorry ass” was “handed” a spot in the main events because of his family’s legacy. In response to the claim he didn’t earn his spot in WWE, Reings wasn’t having it.

Who Is The Best Opponent For Brock Lesnar Following Extreme Rules? (Editorial)

There will be a Fatal 5-Way match this Sunday at Extreme Rules to determine the #1 contender for Brock Lesnar’s Universal Championship. This match was made after Braun Strowman suffered an elbow injury that required surgery. Strowman was most likely going to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at Great Balls of Fire. Thus, Seth Rollins, Samoa Joe, Finn Balor, Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns will compete this Sunday to determine the Superstar that is next in line for a shot at Brock Lesnar.

Here is the list of the potential opponents for Brock Lesnar that are the most intriguing:

5. Bray Wyatt

If this was a month ago, Bray Wyatt may be at the top of this list. Wyatt won the WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber and was on top of the world. For a brief period of time, Wyatt actually did have the whole world in his hands. His promos actually carried weight because he was winning matches and held the most important title in WWE. Wyatt then went on to have two terrible matches with Randy Orton. He lost the WWE Championship to Orton at Wrestlemania 33, in a match where bugs were projected onto the ring. All of this was done to make Wyatt seem scary and present him as a monster. The problem with that is that Wyatt still lost via an RKO, even though he apparently possesses powers that can turn off lights in the arena and project scary images onto the ring.

Wyatt and Orton followed up their disastrous Wrestlemania match with a “House of Horrors” match at WWE Payback. This was originally supposed to be Wyatt’s rematch for the WWE Championship, but instead turned into a non-title match. Wyatt defeated Orton in a train-wreck of a match, but won with the assistance of Jinder Mahal and the Singh Brothers. Wyatt then switched from SmackDown to RAW and is still cutting promos as if he is some monster who should be feared. His character is a model of inconsistency. How can anyone view Bray Wyatt as a monster when all of his theatrics usually result in him losing a match? It is already highly unlikely that Brock Lesnar will lose his first Universal Championship defense. If Wyatt wins at Extreme Rules, it becomes impossible to convince yourself that Lesnar may drop the title. It is also difficult to believe that WWE would place the Universal Championship on Bray Wyatt after his underwhelming run with the WWE Championship.

4. Seth Rollins

Rollins picked up a huge victory over Triple H at Wrestlemania 33. After that, he has been battling Samoa Joe for weeks on RAW and had a match against him at Payback. Samoa Joe dominated most of the match, but Rollins was able to counter the Coquina Clutch into a pin and defeated Joe. Rollins and Lesnar could certainly put on a great match, we have seen it before. Rollins defended his WWE Championship against Brock Lesnar at Battleground 2015. Lesnar essentially had the match won, but was attacked by The Undertaker and Rollins was subsequently disqualified. Rollins lost the match but kept his WWE Championship at the time.

Rollins is one of the most popular Superstars in WWE right now. It wouldn’t be a negative if Rolling emerged victorious at Extreme Rules. Lesnar and Rollins have a history, as Rollins cashed in his MITB briefcase during the Lesnar and Reigns match at Wrestlemania 31. It would be entertaining to revisit that feud now simply because Rollins is no longer aligned with The Authority. If Stephanie McMahon and Triple H return to RAW, the possibility of Lesnar aligning with them would be intriguing. It would cast Rollins as the major underdog and the WWE Universe would certainly get behind him heading into his Universal Championship match against Brock Lesnar.

3. Samoa Joe

The idea of a match between Samoa Joe and Brock Lesnar is exciting enough without a storyline in place. Samoa Joe is a freak athlete for a man of his size and can put on one hell of show with Lesnar in the ring. It would be an extremely physical match and would be a bout most wrestling fans would want to see. Samoa Joe was an excellent heel in NXT and arrived to the main roster as Triple H’s assassin. Joe targeted Seth Rollins and seemed primed to become the biggest badass in WWE. However, Rollins sustained an injury during Joe’s attack and Samoa Joe hasn’t become that monster everyone thought he would be when he arrived on the main roster.

If Samoa Joe wins at Extreme Rules, it would set up an awesome match with Lesnar at Great Balls of Fire. If The Authority returns and has Joe’s back, Brock Lesnar would then be in the unique position of having to overcome the odds. Timing is everything and it simply doesn’t seem like now is the time to have a feud between Lesnar and Samoa Joe. Unfortunately, Joe hasn’t been built up as an unstoppable force on the main roster. All of that could be changed if he wins at Extreme Rules and The Authority returns to RAW. I don’t think that it will happen, but if it does I certainly won’t be complaining.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsTeLFUaZRI

2. Finn Balor

All signs are pointing towards Finn Balor winning the Fatal 5-Way at Extreme Rules. Paul Heyman made a random appearance on RAW a couple of weeks back and interrupted Finn Balor’s promo. Heyman praised Balor and even said that his client Brock Lesnar wanted to wish Balor good luck heading into Extreme Rules. Balor told Heyman to inform Lesnar that he will win at Extreme Rules and will then reclaim the Univeral Championship that he never lost. Balor became the first-ever Universal Champion by defeating Seth Rollins at SummerSlam 2016. Unfortunately for Balor, he had to relinquish the title the following night on RAW due to an injury he sustained after being Powerbombed by Rollins into the barricade outside the ring.

Some argue that a match between Lesnar and Balor is ridiculous, simply because Balor is much smaller than Lesnar. I beg to differ, as WWE has already shown that they believe in Balor in the past. Balor defeated Roman Reigns in his main roster debut to earn a shot at the Universal Championship. Balor and Reigns put on a great match and I don’t see why a match against Lesnar would be any different. The days of Superstars being required to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger in Conan the Barbarian are gone. Lesnar and Finn Balor can put on an interesting match and it seems like WWE is heading in that direction.

1. Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns versus Brock Lesnar is the match that would attract the most viewers, which is why it probably will not happen at Great Balls of Fire. It has been rumored that WWE has already made the decision that Lesnar and Reigns will main-event Wrestlemania 34. However, plans may have changed after Braun Strowman went down with an injury. The ratings for RAW have dipped and WWE could decide to bump that match up to Great Balls of Fire on July 9th.

Reigns and Lesnar would be the most intriguing match for several reasons. Many WWE fans still cannot stand Roman Reigns and Reigns retiring The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 33 didn’t help that at all. There are also a lot of people that dislike Brock Lesnar as Universal Champion because he doesn’t appear on WWE television every week. Whenever this match does take place, the energy in the arena will be amazing. There will be hatred for both Superstars and their fans will be battling to drown out those chants. Wrestlemania seems like the perfect place to have this match and it wouldn’t feel as special if it were to take place this July. Having said that, it is still the most intriguing out of them all and will be awesome to watch whenever it goes down.

Gerald Brisco’s Advice For Roman Reigns & Other WWE Talent

WWE Hall of Famer Gerald Brisco was a recent guest on the Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling podcast. Brisco, who serves as a talent scout for WWE, knows a thing or two about what WWE looks for and what it takes to make it on the big stage.

As somebody who competed in the ring from 1969-1984, Brisco has seen the industry transform and evolve several times over. When asked about the core components of what it takes for talent to get over, Brisco says there are certain characteristics that are timeless and will always be beneficial.

“There are guys in this era right here and now that could get over back in mine and there are guys in mine that could definitely get over in this one here,” he said. “It’s not the gimmick. It’s not the storyline because our storyline’s are simple and it not that a lot of individuals didn’t have a lot of gimmicks but it’s the person behind it. It is that person that works his ass off every night in the ring and stays consistent and stays true to himself.”

Brisco’s son Wes is good friends with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Brisco says Austin has always told Wes to simply be himself while performing. Stay true to yourself and you’ll always have that going for you.

Brisco also had some advice for Roman Reigns and it ties into the ‘be yourself’ message he just spoke about. He’s seen John Cena get rejected by a large portion of the WWE Universe despite having all the tools to succeed. Love him or hate him, you have to acknowledge John Cena is talented, he knows his character and he’s going to keep doing what works best for him. Brisco feels Reigns should take the same approach.

“If he just stays himself and doesn’t change .. the people are going to hate him and the people are going to love him.. but look at John Cena. He is one of the most revered guys but in the beginning people loved and then hated and still they love / hate him, but he is still one of the most revered guys there is.”

“Stay true to yourself and don’t get off course and don’t let people talk you into changing, don’t let the fans convince you that you need Otto change. Just be yourself and pretty soon they will see this is who you are. That is my advice to these young guys and if you believe in something than make it yours and make it work.”

Other topics discussed include he and his brother Jack pioneering the amateur wrestling style in pro wrestling, why few other teams could match their toughness and skill inside the ring and why the Bisco Brothers never never fully got the ‘New York’ run that many feel was cut short in the early 1980s. Update on Braun Strowman’s WWE Return

According to a report from PWInsider, WWE officials are expecting Braun Strowman to return much sooner than the storyline given six-month timeframe. As we previously mentioned, Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that “The Monster Among Men” is expected to return around mid-July to begin building up his match with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.

Strowman was injured by Roman Reigns during their meeting at WWE Payback, where the big guy suffered an elbow injury that required surgery to fix. Strowman posted the following picture on Instagram showing off his badly bruised elbow, and vowed to return the pain two-fold when he sees Roman Reigns again:

JBL Responds to Roman Reigns Being The Future of WWE

During a recent episode of Bring It To The Table on the WWE Network, WWE commentators JBL and Corey Graves spoke on a variety of topics in today’s WWE product. One topic of discussion was the rivalry between Roman Reigns and “The Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman.

When asked if Reigns has been carrying Strowman throughout their matches, Graves said that Reigns bringing the fight to Strowman has forced him to perform on another level (quotes via Wrestling Inc.):

“Listen, I think absolutely it takes two to tango. Roman Reigns definitely helped and forced Braun Strowman to step up his game and what they created was magic. This is one of my favorite rivalries going right now in some time.”

JBL praised “The Guy’s” work inside the ring and went on to say that Reigns is the future of the WWE:

“Roman Reigns has good match, after good match, after good match. I mean, the guy is the future of this company. And people who want to hate him, please continue to do it. It certainly is your right, but you’re hating him for the wrong reason. This guy goes out and puts out quality after quality [match] every single night.”

On another subject, JBL offered his thoughts on Titus O’Neil beginning to switch over to a manager role with Apollo Crews. While Graves likes the move for O’Neil, JBL isn’t fond of it as he believes a manager shouldn’t tower over their talent:

“Look, the guy looks like a million freaking dollars. He looks like a hall of fame athlete, which he is a world class athlete, but who in the world is he going to manage that he’s not going to dwarf?” JBL said, “Titus O’Neil is too big to be a manager because he dwarfs everybody because when you look at Titus O’Neil, you go, ‘wait a minute! I don’t want to see that guy! I want to see the guy who looks like a million freaking dollars in a suit! That’s who I want to see.'”

WWE Teasing Cena vs. Reigns Feud, Aleister Black On Main Event, Bryan, Brie & Birdie Photo

– WWE is teasing a potential ‘dream match’ between John Cena and Roman Reigns. Last Friday, John Cena posted a tweeted a video of himself in the gym of Roman Reigns alma mater, Georgia Tech.

In this video, Cathy Kelley makes sure to point out positive fan reactions to the prospective match-up. For now, fans looking to see these two square off will have to fire up their game consoles and pop in WWE 2K17. Roman Reigns is on RAW and on a [long-term] collision course with Brock Lesnar. John Cena is on SmackDown and keeping busy with projects outside of WWE. But make no mistake about it: this is the biggest marquee match WWE can present.

No matter what Roman Reigns says, John Cena still is “the guy.” WWE is committed to making Reigns the next guy and that road will almost certainly lead him to a high-profile match against the 16-time world champion.

– Tonight’s episode of Main Event on the WWE Network features NXT star Aleister Black (making his main roster debut) vs. Curt Hawkins and Niam Dar vs. Gran Metallik in cruiserweight action.

– Earlier this week, Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella welcomed the birth of their first child, Birdie Joe. Late Thursday night, Brie posted this photo of the happy family together in the hospital.

Photos: Roman Reigns & Braun Strowman Sightseeing Together In Rome

As noted earlier, the WWE crew is currently overseas for the annual post-WrestleMania European live events tour. (Full Schedule) The tour kicks off tonight with the RAW brand hosting a show from Rome, Italy.

Naturally, the WWE Superstars are checking out the sights in Europe. Titus O’Neil posted the following photo on social media, including Matt Hardy, Curtis Axel, Heath Slater, Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman posing together for a photo inside Rome’s historic Coliseum.

While it’s safe to assume Reigns and Strowman probably do not hate each other when WWE cameras aren’t rolling, it seems they’re making little to no effort to ‘keep the magic alive’ for WWE fans who might have spotted them together.

After several fans pointed out that Titus was flagrantly breaking kayfabe by showing Reigns and Strowman enjoying a nice afternoon together, the post was deleted.

Roman Reigns & Braun Strowman Injury Updates, Backlash Poster, Miz Trash Talks Balor

– WWE has provided a storyline update on “injuries” of Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman. After both men missed last night’s RAW, WWE.com writes:

“At WWE Payback, Strowman re-aggravated injuries to Reigns’ ribs, and The Big Dog suffered additional internal injuries on top of the ones he sustained when The Monster Among Men toppled an ambulance with Reigns inside it during the April 10 edition of Raw. Strowman, meanwhile, has a torn rotator cuff.”

A torn rotator cuff would keep Strowman out for months, so it will be a superhuman feat when Strowman is back in action at Extreme Rules on June 4th.

– In the main event of last night’s RAW, The Miz defeated Finn Balor and Seth Rollins in a triple threat match to become the #1 contender for Dean Ambrose’s Intercontinental championship. After the victory, The Miz tweeted the following mocking Balor:

– The official promotional artwork for WWE Backlash has been released and it features SmackDown Live newcomer Shinsuke Nakamura. Nakamura is set to make his main roster pay-per-view debut at the show, which  takes place on Sunday, May 21st from Rosemont, Illinois at the Allstate Arena.

Roman Reigns Comments On The Death Of His Brother

WWE.com has published an interview with Roman Reigns, who gave his first public comments regarding the death of his brother, Matt Anoi’a (Rosey).

Reigns says the situation has brought him a lot of mixed feelings. With his big family, even cousins are like brothers, but Matt was his only blood brother.

“It was an extremely sad weekend, and it’s still really tough. Everybody’s grieving. But to see our family come together and have a hundred-plus family and friends come together to celebrate my brother’s life really meant a lot. It just continually picks up our family and keeps us moving on.”

Reigns was asked about his physical condition following Braun Strowman’s attack two weeks ago on RAW. Reigns actually invoked the death of his brother to sell Strowman’s attack.

“Physically, I’m as beat up as I am emotionally. This has been two of the roughest weeks of my professional career and life. I’ve never experienced a loss this close since it’s my only blood brother, but I’ve also never experienced a beatdown like Braun Strowman gave me.”

Roman Reigns gets his shot at revenge against Braun Strowman this Sunday at WWE Payback.

Roman Reigns’ Status For RAW, Batista on the Cover of Muscle & Fitness, Shane-UFC

– Roman Reigns is not booked for the weekend WWE live events, likely due to the passing of his brother, Matt “Rosey” Anoa’i. According to f4Wonline.com, Reigns is booked for Monday’s RAW. This will be Reigns’ first WWE TV appearance since Bruan Strowman’s vicious beatdown on the April 10th edition of RAW.

– Former WWE Superstar Batista is on the May 2017 cover of Muscle & Fitness and the Summer Movie Preview edition of Entertainment Weekly. Batista stars in Guarians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which opens Friday, May 5th.

– Tommy Dreamer and Bully Ray spoke with TMZ Sports this week about how tough Shane McMahon is, claiming Shane would “crush” in the UFC.

Roman Reigns ‘Injury Update’ Following Braun Strowman’s Attack

WWE.com has provided an update on Roman Reigns’ condition following the brutal attack he sustained at the hands of Braun Strowman earlier this week.

According to the report, Reigns suffered internal injuries, cracked ribs and a separated shoulder. WWE did not specify how long Reigns will be out of action, but he’s expected to face Strowman at WWE Payback later this month (4/30).

Strowman attacked Reigns on RAW while he was being interviewed backstage by Michael Cole. The assault continued for several minutes, with Braun coming back to deliver more punishment each time that it seemed he was done.

In case you missed it, or just want to relive the carnage, here’s the footage, which has over 5 million views on Youtube in less than 3 days.

Roman Reigns: Brock Lesnar ‘Just Wanted To Kill Me’ At WM31, Not Open To His Ideas

Roman Reigns was a recent guest on Chris Jericho’s Talk is Jericho podcast and provided some interesting details regarding his WrestleMania 31 main event match against Brock Lesnar. The match saw Seth Rollins cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase to capture the WWE Championship, launching Rollins into the main event scene as the golden boy of The Authority.

In speaking to Chris Jericho, Roman Reigns says that Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman were not receptive to his ideas when planning out the match. Reigns claims Lesnar essentially wanted to squash him.

“No, it wasn’t easy, by any means,” Reigns said. “But the thing I had a lot of confidence in is I knew it was just going to be a fight. I knew it was going to be brutal and I like that shit. Like, hey, if you want to bang, I’m all for it. I’m never scared. But it was just weird. It really was. It was last-minute. It was one of those deals where it wasn’t a lot of talking, [they] didn’t seem open to ideas because, essentially, in their minds, and when I say ‘their minds’ I say Brock and Paul, which, that is a powerful pairing right there.”

Roman Reigns meets a strong negative reaction from WWE crowds on a weekly basis, a phenomenon that was growing prior to WrestleMania 31. Reigns says Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar were convinced the WrestleMania crowd wanted to see him get crushed, but he wasn’t going to be steamrolled without putting up a fight.

“But those two, they’re something else. They wanted to kill me. They were convinced however many people were there eighty [thousand], whatever, they wanted to see me get crushed. They were there and they just want to see Roman get his ass beat. And I can’t disagree with them, but brother [has] got to fight. Hey, you can kick my ass all you want, but I’m going to fight.”

Reigns pointed out that he respects Brock Lesnar and everything he’s accomplished. He thinks their match at Mania 31 was the best of his career, but it’s not a personal favorite. Based on current WWE storylines and the rumored WrestleMania 34 main event, Reigns will get another chance to dance with the Beast Incarnate on WWE’s grandest stage.

Dean Ambrose had a similar complaint about working with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 32, but went farther than Reigns and outright accused Lesnar of phoning it in for their match. During his appearance on the Stone Cold WWE Network ‘Podcast’ last summer, Ambrose expressed frustration that Lesnar was being ‘lazy’ and didn’t seem interested in putting on a good match with him. We’d later find out that Lesnar was already training for his UFC return at the time he fought Ambrose.

Will Brock Lesnar Defend The Universal Championship At WWE Payback?

Even though Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman had a stare down last night on Monday Night Raw, Lesnar is currently not scheduled to appear on Raw for awhile. Strowman even stated in the promo last night that he will deal with Roman Reigns first and then turn his sights on Brock Lesnar. WWE Payback airs on April 30th and it was assumed that Lesnar would be on the show to defend the Universal Championship.

Lesnar is in the Payback promotional video WWE uploaded as you can see in the video below. As of now, the main event of WWE Payback is expected to be Braun Strowman versus Roman Reigns. Strowman and Reigns are scheduled for a series of matches at WWE live events leading up to Payback in four weeks. Lesnar is also not advertised for Raw after Payback. The next time Brock Lesnar is on Raw may not be until the May 8th episode which will be taped in London.

The chants varies from “Roman sucks!” to “fu** you Roman!”. Reigns stood there for what felt like an eternity while the crowd shouted at him. Every single time Roman lifted the microphone to his mouth, the crowd relentlessly booed. Finally, Reigns said “this is my yard now” and left the ring.
