Not just WWE fans are still talking about the finish to the main event of Sunday’s TLC pay-per-view event that saw Asuka beat Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch in the first-ever Women’s Triple Threat TLC Match in order to win the SmackDown Women’s Title.
The WWE stars involved in it are keeping it a topic not only due to the quality of this match but the actions by RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey. The finish of the match saw Rousey push Flair and Lynch off a ladder in order for Asuka to win the title.
During a recent post on her official Instagram account, Rousey stated that the reason for her actions at TLC was due to wanting her to send a warning to Lynch and Flair. She also sent another warning to them by telling them to move on and provoke her again. This led to some fiery responses by the SmackDown stars.
“#TLC wasn’t revenge, it was a warning. @charlottewwe @beckylynchwwe You’re both lucky I let you off so easy. Asuka deserves to be champion more than either of you cheating cowards. And @beckylynchwwe says SHE came at ME head on!? @beckylynchwwe has only ever attacked me when my back was turned – that’s some more #BackwardsBulls–tBecky. If you and @charlottewwe are smart you’ll consider the score settled, learn this lesson, move on…. and don’t provoke me again.”
WWE has announced a rather fun skit for tomorrow on their YouTube channel. A live stream of SmackDown Live Tag Teams The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods) and The IIconics (Billie Kay and Peyton Royce) will be held.
With Christmas right around the corner, WWE will be having the pair exchanges gifs live on YouTube in front of the entire WWE Universe. The IIconics and The New Day have worked together before on Woods’ UpUpDownDown YouTube gaming channel.
It will be interesting to see what WWE has in store for their gift exchange. The festivities will commence at noon Eastern Time tomorrow.
Rousey Shops For A Christmas Tree (Video)
WWE Monday Night RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey recently went shopping for a Christmas tree. She posted her journey on her own YouTube channel. Rousey, along with her husband and UFC heavyweight fighter Travis Browne, attempt to find the best Christmas tree for their ranch, “Browsey Acres.”
You can check out Rousey’s search for the perfect Christmas tree in the video player below:
WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey has a new #1 contender for her title.
As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in Sacramento, CA at the Golden 1 Center on the USA Network, WWE held a gauntlet match with several competitors in order to determine who would be next in line for the strap. In the match, Natalya won by beating Bayley, Alicia Fox, Sasha Banks, Mickie James, Ember Moon, Ruby Riott, and Dana Brooke.
The finish of the match saw Natalya beat Banks with the sharpshooter. After the contest, Rousey came down to the ring to have a staredown with Natalya then they hugged it out in the ring to close the broadcast.
Now, Rousey will defend the title against Natalya on next Monday’s show. WWE holds next week’s show in Sacramento, CA as it will be a taped show due it falling on Christmas Eve.
As of this writing, no other matches for RAW have been announced, but with it being a taped show, we should have spoilers and non-spoiler match listing from the taping posted on the home page shortly.
Rousey successfully retained her title over Nia Jax at Sunday’s WWE TLC pay-per-view event in San Jose, California.
WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey had people talking as not only did she successfully retain her title over Nia Jax but also got involved in the headliner of Sunday’s (December 16th, 2018) WWE TLC pay-per-view event in San Jose, California at the SAP Center on the WWE Network.
In the main event, she came down to the ring where she helped Asuka beat Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch in the first-ever Women’s Triple Threat TLC Match to win the SmackDown Women’s Title when she pushed Lynch and Flair off a ladder.
Now, there is speculation that this sets up a feud involving Rousey, Flair, and Lynch during the road to WrestleMania 35. Rousey tweeted the following about her bad reputation:
Rousey wrote, “I don’t give a damn ‘bout my bad reputation #AndStill.”
Speaking of Asuka, Triple H took to his Twitter account where he sent the following to congratulate Asuka following her win.
Triple H wrote, “For her, it was never about a streak or a number, it was about proving she was the best of every division she was ever a part of. Tonight, after a brutal #WWETLC match, the Empress of Tomorrow is the Champion of Today. Congratulations @WWEAsuka. #WeAreNXT.”

Ronda Rousey has retained the RAW Women’s Title. Rousey did just that when she beat Nia Jax at Sunday’s (December 16th, 2018) WWE TLC pay-per-view event in San Jose, California at the SAP Center on the WWE Network.
Jax won the battle royal at the WWE Evolution pay-per-view event in Long Island, New York at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on the WWE Network. As a result of this win, she had earned the right to challenge for the Women’s Title.
Rousey defeated Alexa Bliss for the title at the SummerSlam pay-per-view event in Brooklyn, New York on August 19, 2018, which marked her first reign as champion. There have been 14 reigns between 6 champions to hold the title with Charlotte Flair being the inaugural champion.
Rousey’s in-ring debut took place at WrestleMania 34 in a mixed tag team match with Kurt Angle as her partner, against Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. Since then, she has been pushed as WWE top star in the RAW Women’s Division and one of the biggest talents that the company has under contract.
What are your thoughts on Rousey retaining the title in this match? Was it the right time to do this by WWE? Sound off in the comment section.
There’s no doubt that Becky Lynch has risen to become one of WWE’s biggest stars in the past few months. However, has she become one of WWE’s top two biggest stars? “The Irish Lass Kicker” sure believes she is. Speaking to Uproxx recently, Lynch went as far as claiming that she and RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey are the company’s two biggest stars.
It’s for that reason she believes they should main event WrestleMania 35 next year from MetLife Stadium:
“Look, main events of WrestleMania already have “man” written into it, and I am the Man… There [aren’t] two other stars in WWE right now bigger than Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey, and for that reason and that reason alone, that should be the main event.
“If we look at the trajectory of WrestleMania and WWE and who gets the main event spot, it’s always the top draw. And it’s always the people that are bringing the most people into the stands. Well, that’s the Man.”
Lynch rose to prominence in WWE after turning heel on Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam. Flair had injected herself into a SDL Women’s Title match she worked hard to earn, and wound up winning the match. Lynch attacked Flair, before going on to capture the title herself at the Hell In A Cell (HIAC) pay-per-view (PPV).
In that time Lynch has become a massive fan-favorite amongst WWE fans, and is preparing to make history tomorrow night. She’ll defend her title in the first-ever Women’s Tables Ladders and Chairs (TLC) match against Flair and Asuka. The PPV goes down from the SAP Center in San Jose, California.
What do you make of Lynch’s claim that she and Rousey are WWE’s biggest stars?
The SmackDown Women’s Champion, Becky Lynch, recently appeared on popular MMA show, ‘Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show.’
During the course of the interview, ‘The Man’ broached a number of different subjects. These ranged from her career and recent broken nose, to Conor McGregor and her growing popularity.
She also shared her opinion on current RAW Women’s Champion, “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey.
“Nobody Can Take That Away From Me”
According to Becky Lynch, there was a sense of resentment and animosity towards the former UFC Bantamweight champion upon her arrival and immediate push.
“Absolutely [there was dislike towards Ronda Rousey],” Lynch admitted. “That’s the thing with so many people and the people they want to succeed, right? And that was never me. There are chosen people and that was never me. I was never meant to succeed. I was never the one that was meant to be the champion, the one that was meant to be on top, the one that was supposed to be on the posters and the billboards,” she said.
“I think that’s what made it [Lynch’s success] all the more sweeter and I think that’s what the audience relates to because they could see that,” Lynch declared. “And that is why I think they’ve supported me because I made this myself and nobody can take that away from me. Nobody can take that away from me.”
Mae Young Classic 2018 winner Toni Storm recently spoke to the UK’s Metro Sport on a variety of topics. The Australian Superstar is one of the top prospects in the UK and is heavily featured on the NXT UK brand.
When asked who the best wrestler in the world is right now Storm replied by saying “That is such a tough one right now! You’ve got the likes of Daniel Bryan and Finn Balor, but I’ll tell you who’s coming up right now who’s going to take that soon, Pete Dunne! I think he’s on his way to becoming the best in the world. He knows exactly what he’s doing, he’s an absolute professional and has been doing it since he was a kid. He’s just fantastic.”
Storm was also asked who the most underrated wrestler in the UK scene was. Toni stated that “I know it’s probably the obvious choice but my fiancee Chris Ridgeway is incredible, and he’s doing really well on the UK indie scene. He needs to be seen all over the world. I watch his stuff a lot, I had a match with him a few months ago and he is literally world class. It would be good if we could see his face a lot more.”
Storm was also asked if she felt Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch should headline WrestleMania next year. The Aussie Superstar responded by saying “Absolutely, 100%! Imagine that, it should absolutely headline Wrestlemania. They’re two of the toughest women in the world. That’s exactly what I want to see at Wrestlemania.”
WWE held a live event on Wednesday in Santiago, Chile and at the event, RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey battled Nia Jax with her title being on the line.
At this event, AnnMaria De Mars, who is the mother of Rousey, was spotted at ringside for Rousey’s match where Rousey was able to successfully retain the title. Following the show, she wrote the following in a post that she shared on her official Twitter account, “Went to my first @wwe event yesterday with our whole team from @strongmindesp It was way cooler than I expected #WWESantiago.”
Rousey, who is slated to defend her title against Jax at TLC pay-per-view event on Sunday, December 16th, 2018, posted the following on her Instagram account:
Ronda Rousey had all she could handle from Nia Jax and Tamina last night on Raw. Meanwhile, the Smackdown Women’s Champion was on Twitter antagonizing her.
Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey Twitter War
With Becky and Ronda on separate shows, WWE appears to be building towards an eventual match between the two on Twitter.
The two exchanged the following Tweets last night:
“Hey Ronnie?! My division is on fire over here. Everyone thinks they’re a badass all of a sudden. How’s the division that I let you run going?”
U sure had alot of free time during #DrPaidVacation 2beg for my attention on Twitter-but Im busy promoting a PPV w/ an opponent whos actually going to show up.Leave it to #TheMillennialMan to still be on social media crying for a participation trophy for never showing up to fight

“Hey, hey. You know that time I got sucker punched? When I stood up I was out on my feet. That means I LITERALLY beat you in my sleep.”

Ronda Rousey and Nia Jax have begun their social media back-and-forth ahead of their title bout. Rousey will defend her RAW Women’s Championship against Jax at the Tables Ladders and Chairs (TLC) pay-per-view (PPV). Jax earned the opportunity when she won a Battle Royal at Evolution, WWE’s first-ever all-female PPV.
Rousey was briefly involved in a feud against SmackDown Live’s Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, however, for now, she’ll focus her attention on Jax. Jax has garnered quite a bit of heel heat for herself in recent weeks. Things really kicked off for her when she legitimately broke Becky Lynch’s nose and gave her a concussion on an episode of RAW.
As a result, Lynch was removed from last month’s Survivor Series PPV, and fans have held a grudge ever since. This won’t be the first time Rousey and Jax have shared the ring. At the Money In The Bank PPV earlier this year, Jax defended the RAW Women’s Title against Rousey. However, MITB briefcase winner Alexa Bliss attacked both women before cashing-in, defeating Jax for the title.
Rousey went on to defeat Bliss at SummerSlam for the RAW Women’s Title, which she has held ever since. Recently, Rousey took to Instagram and threw out a shot at Jax ahead of TLC. Jax responded by telling Rousey to lay off social media, and instead spend more time “learning how to wrestle”:
“The #IrresistibleForce and the #MonolithicMute are apparently some busy ladies with no spare time to catch the ass whoopin’ that’s coming to them. Good thing this Monday on #RAW @niajaxwwe and @saronasnukawwe have a hot double date with me and @natbynature. And the tables will turn, cause this time THEY are going to be the ones leaving repulsed by their choices. #RowdyHartVsMuteForce”
A match involving WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey has been announced for this Monday’s episode of RAW. On Friday afternoon, the company revealed that Rousey and Natalya will face Tamina and Nia Jax in a tag team match. This is a follow up on the angle this past week where Jax, Snuka and The Riott Squad attacked Rousey and Natalya.
Rousey wrote the following on her official Instagram account about this match:
WWE is in Houston, TX at the Toyota Center for this episode of Monday Night RAW. As of this writing, no other matches or segments have been announced for this show.
Rousey is slated to make her next title defense against Jax at the upcoming TLC pay-per-view event takes place on Sunday, December 16th, 2018 in San Jose, California at the SAP Center and will air on the WWE Network.
Jax won the battle royal at the WWE Evolution pay-per-view event in Long Island, New York at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on the WWE Network. As a result of this win, she has earned the right to challenge for the Women’s Title.
It’s a known fact that Raw is considered the flagship show of the company by WWE Officials and its given preference over SmackDown Live in every aspect.
However, things are expected to change after SmackDown moves to Fox Network next year and it’s very likely that WWE will have to find a balance between both their shows once they are not on the same network.
One of the top changes we can expect to see is the equal distribution of star power on both the brands and it appears that this can start with a current champion moving to the Blue Branded show.
WrestlingInc is reporting that Fox officials want current Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey to move to SmackDown in 2019 when the show debuts on the network.
The Network believes that Rousey’s MMA background, popularity, and credibility as an athlete will be a selling point for the Blue Branded Show.
These reports are in line with the previous update which said that Fox wants SmackDown to be more athletically oriented as part of their sports block.
Though it’s worth mentioning here that originally Ronda Rousey didn’t intend to stay with WWE for very long. She has stated many times that she wants to start a family soon and her contract is designed keeping that in mind.
So before making any such plans with Rousey in mind, WWE will first have to confirm what her long-term status with the company is and whether or not she actually intends to stay with them by the time these changes take place.
Ronda Rousey can’t wait to get her hands on Charlotte Flair again. The path these two found to one another was certainly an interesting one. Rousey, the RAW Women’s Champion, was set to face SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Becky Lynch at Survivor Series. However, due to Lynch’s broken nose and concussion, she was forced off the show.
As a result, Flair was selected to serve as Lynch’s replacement and represent SmackDown Live. Flair and Rousey actually put on a very competitive match, but for whatever reason, Flair decided to get herself disqualified. She pulled out a kendo stick and began to viciously attack Rousey with it. The following Monday on RAW, Rousey vowed to get her revenge on “The Queen” at some point.
It looks like Flair isn’t shying away from the challenge. She recently took to Twitter to issue out a message to “The Rowdy One.” Sharing a photo of her attack on Rousey at Survivor Series, Flair suggested she’s ready for “round two” with the former UFC women’s bantamweight champion:
“Whenever you are ready for round two, Ken and I will be waiting. @RondaRousey#TLC#Raw”
Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey didn’t wrestle during the broadcast of Raw and instead, she was involved in a segment with her TLC opponent Nia Jax during the show.
Though she wrestled after the show went off air and the Women’s Champion teamed up with Sasha Banks, Bayley, Natalya and Ember Moon for a 10 women tag team match.
This group went against the team of Tamina Snuka, Nia Jax, Liv Morgan, Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan and the faces won the bout to try to send the crowd home happy.
Seth Rollins Comments On His Victory
We noted before how Seth Rollins announced that he will be holding an Intercontinental Championship open challenge during the latest episode of Monday Night Raw.
We saw Seth holding the challenge during the final hour of the show and it was answered by Dolph Ziggler. The match was won by Rollins and he retained the title via a Falcon Arrow.
After the show, the IC Champion was interviewed backstage where he talked about his victory during the episode and how he is the true best in the world. You can check out Seth Rollins’ interview in the video below:
At WWE Starrcade over the weekend, Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins emerged victorious in his Cage match against Dean Ambrose. After the match, “The Architect” took to Twitter to celebrate, by dubbing himself “The Man, The Champ” of WWE. Of course, Rollins did this knowing it’d upset SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. The pair have bickered back and forth before about who is really “The Man” of WWE.
In his Tweet, Rollins took a jab at Brock Lesnar, Ronda Rousey, and Daniel Bryan for not being a part of the show. He then declared himself “The Man, The Champ” of WWE:
“Away game? Hostile environment? No Brock? No Bryan? No Ronda? No Becky? ….no problem. THE Man, THE Champ. The hardest working MFer in this business just wrecked Cincinnati.”
Away game? Hostile environment? No Brock? No Bryan? No Ronda? No Becky? ….no problem. THE Man, THE Champ. The hardest working MFer in this business just wrecked Cincinnati. #ALLHEART#Starrcade
Lynch, who has been on top of her Twitter game as of late, of course, had to respond. She also took a shot at Lesnar, Rousey, and Bryan for not being on the show. “The Irish Lass Kicker” reminded everyone she wasn’t competing due to her broken nose and concussion, before asking what everyone else’s excuse was:
“I have a concussion and a broken face, what’s everyone else’s excuse?”
Ronda Rousey left Survivor Series on Sunday night covered in blood and bruises but that won’t stop her from making an appearance on Monday Night Raw this week.
The reigning Raw women’s champion engaged in a brutal match against Charlotte Flair at Survivor series that ended in a disqualification.
During the match, Flair hit Rousey with a kendo stick and then continued the assault inside the ring. When the match was finally over, Rousey made her way backstage but the injuries she suffered during the showdown with Flair looked all too real.
Early in the match, Rousey was seen bleeding from the mouth and once it was over, she was covered in scratches, bumps and bruises.
Rousey then released a photo on her website showing some of the injuries she suffered while promising that she would be appearing on Monday Night Raw to address what happened.
“I refused to let the doctor see me until they promised to clear me for RAW today, I said I would go home and glue it shut if I had to,” Rousey said. “They took a quick look and said I can either stitch it shut or glue it so I decided to glue it and I will be on RAW tonight!”
Rousey was originally scheduled to meet Becky Lynch in a crossover match between Raw and Smackdown Live but that was scrapped just days ahead of Survivor Series.
Lynch also suffered some very real injuries including a broken nose and a concussion after she caught a punch from Nia Jax during an angle on Monday Night Raw last week.
The highly anticipated showdown between Rousey and Lynch was postponed with Flair stepping into replace the Smackdown women’s champion.
It definitely seems like WWE is building towards an epic rematch between Rousey and Flair somewhere down the road. Rumors have been swirling for days that Rousey may not end up encountering Lynch until WrestleMania for what could be a potential headlining match.
WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair put on a heck of a show.
As seen at Sunday’s (November 18, 2018) Survivor Series pay-per-view event in Los Angeles, California at the Staples Center on the WWE Network, Rousey beat Flair by DQ in a non-title match. As noted, Rousey was supposed to face Becky Lynch at this show but Lynch suffered a “broken face” and concussion during the RAW invasion angle.
The finish of the match saw Flair hit Rousey with a kendo stick to cause the DQ. She would then beat down Rousey after the match with the stick.
It appears that Rousey’s next feud will be against former RAW Women’s Champ Nia Jax, who won the battle royal at the WWE Evolution pay-per-view event in Long Island, New York at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on the WWE Network. As a result of this win, she has earned the right to challenge for the Women’s Title at a later date. That potential date for their battle over the WWE RAW Women’s Title could come next month at the TLC pay-per-view event on Sunday, December 16th, 2018 in San Jose, California at the SAP Center.
Time will tell when WWE decides to book this match. It also appears that this post-match angle could set up a future match between Flair and Rousey. What are your thoughts on Rousey winning this match? Did WWE make the right call? Sound off in the comment section.
Charlotte Flair has some high praises for Ronda Rousey. She recently spoke with ComicBook.com and talked about Rousey’s transition from UFC to WWE.
Charlotte said that Rousey has avoided a mistake that is a hurdle for most beginners in the WWE.
“Well, they’re just thinking about the moves and not the meaning behind them. Watching her, she looks like she’s been doing this for years. And that’s very hard to do. It looks effortless. It’s one thing to be an athlete, but it’s another to, just because you’re an athlete doesn’t mean you’re going to be a good WWE Superstar,” Flair told ComicBook.
Charlotte also praised whoever is teaching Rousey and said that they are doing a phenomenal job in teaching her the moves of the squared circle.
“Who’s ever talking to her or teaching her is doing such a phenomenal job, because the whole goal is to make it look like you’re not thinking. There’s not a second that you think she’s thinking,” said Flair.
Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey are set to go against each other at the Survivor Series pay-per-view event this Sunday.
Ronda Rousey cut a memorable promo on Becky Lynch this past week on Raw. In whats been dubbed the “Millennium Man” promo, Rousey laced into the SmackDown Women’s Champion for being an avocado-toast eating snowflake. It seems some of that material came may have been inspired by none other than Paul Heyman.
Rousey keeps a YouTube channel where she uploads a weekly video blog. In latest video (filmed on Sunday), the Baddest Woman on the Planet revealed that she was getting ready to meet with Heyman to work on ideas for Raw.
“After a long, I don’t even know how long flight, I’m going to chill out and finally get to Kansas City,” Rousey said on the video. “And then meet up with Paul Heyman and we’ll go over some ideas for tomorrow. Then Raw’s tomorrow!”
Opinion: The prospect of Ronda Rousey and Paul Heyman working together in any capacity is intriguing. Heyman’s aptitude for professional wrestling is unrivaled and countless performers have credited him with enhancing the trajectory of their careers. One has to wonder what Paul Heyman’s future holds once Brock Lesnar finishes up with WWE. Some fans might love the idea of Rousey being a Paul Heyman Girl, but the real money is in Paul Heyman guiding a slew of challengers to rid WWE of Ronda Rousey once and for all.
Rousey & Becky Lynch’s Trash Talk
“Becky, you are so hypersensitive,” Rousey said on Monday’s Raw from Kansas City. “You aren’t just the man, you are the millennial man. You are the skinny jeans wearing, V-neck sporting, avocado toast munching, winged-shoe wearing, millennial man, with a bubble-wrapped ego and a porcelain self-perception. Someone needs to tell the man that I am not Charlotte Flair, Raw is not Smackdown, and being offended doesn’t make you right.”
Lynch responded to Rousey on social media. The Man tweeted, “When you’re babbling on about avocados, I’m main-eventing my show AND your show. Did you hear that last night, Ronda? That’s the sound they make when The Man comes around.”
Becky Lynch won’t get to face Ronda Rousey this Sunday at Survivor Series but the reigning WWE Smackdown women’s champion may have just won the war of words.
In promotion of their upcoming match, Lynch and Rousey had been trading barbs over social media for the past couple of weeks until it was determined the ‘Irish Lass Kicker’ would be unable to compete due to injuries suffered during a segment on Monday Night Raw this past week.
Lynch caught a punch from Nia Jax that left her with a broken nose and a concussion, which ruled her out of the match against Rousey on Sunday. Charlotte Flair will now take her place but Lynch still had her fangs out on Wednesday when exchanging messages with Rousey over Twitter.
Rousey unleashed a message of her own earlier in the day along with a quote from fellow UFC veteran Nate Diaz that said ‘if you can’t make it to war, you lose the war, you ain’t bout this life’.
Lynch then returned fire with a savage response that referenced Rousey’s loss to Holly Holm in the UFC where she suffered a brutal second round head kick knockout and then largely disappeared for the next year until she booked her next fight.
“Ronnie, TL/DR. When I got my face broke I got up, owned you THEN showed up the next day looking to fight some more,” Lynch wrote on Twitter. “When you got your face broke you hid for a year under your blankie. Your mind is as weak as your jaw and I’m going to move heaven & Earth to come destroy them both.”
A lot of mixed martial arts fans had wondered if WWE would ever blur the lines between fiction and reality when it came to Rousey’s fight career, especially considering the way it ended with back-to-back knockout losses.
It appears the gloves are off now with Lynch taking a direct shot at Rousey following her knockout loss to Holm in 2015.
All of this back and forth should only serve to further hype the ongoing rivalry between the two women’s wrestlers, especially when Lynch is able to compete again.
Nia Jax has received a lot of heat, both backstage and from fans, for what transpired Monday. Jax injured SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Becky Lynch during a brawl segment on RAW. Jax hit Lynch with a hard punch that broke the Irishwoman’s nose, forcing her off this weekend’s Survivor Series pay-per-view (PPV).
Lynch was initially scheduled to face RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey due to the Champion vs. Champion format of the PPV. With Lynch now off the card due to injury, Charlotte Flair will face Rousey at Survivor Series instead. Jax has been taking a lot of heat online from fans since she injured Lynch.
Jax posted an advertisement for a meet-and-greet she’ll be holding on Friday. In the comments, however, fans are trashing the former RAW Women’s Champion for injuring Lynch:
Earlier this morning, Jax took to Twitter to address the situation. She posted a photo of her cut and bruised fist with the caption, “Hey…we don’t deliver mail, things happen. Is anyone gonna ask me about how my fist feels?”
The controversy surrounding Jax injuring Lynch has sparked tons of discussions online. Even former WWE Intercontinental Champion Ryback recently unloaded on F4WOnline’s Bryan Alvarez for critiquing Jax. It will be interesting to see how the situation plays out moving forward.
This has been a huge week for professional wrestling, as we approach Survivor Series from Los Angeles this weekend. The week started off with a tremendous women’s locker room brawl to hype this weekend’s pay-per-view (PPV) on Monday Night RAW. Unfortunately, that braw resulted in the injury of Becky Lynch, who is now off the Survivor Series card, canceling the event’s most highly-anticipated match.
The SmackDown Live Women’s Champion kicked off the segment by attacking RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey backstage. She then came to the ring to lead an attack on the RAW Women’s locker room, alongside her fellow SmackDown Live stars. However, during the brawl, Nia Jax hit Lynch with a hard shot that broke ner nose. Lynch continued on with the segment despite bleeding all over herself.
It was soon determined that the injury was significant enough to pull Lynch from her match with Rousey on Sunday. Now, Rousey will face Charlotte Flair, who was hand-selected by Lynch as her replacement, instead. With one of the most anticipated matches of the year being called off due to injury, Jax has apparently taken some heat backstage for the incident.
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, who initially broke the story of Lynch’s injury, has provided some insight. Initially, there wasn’t any heat towards Jacks for busting Lynch open. However, after the severity of the injury was determined, that quickly changed:
Nia is careless is the attitude backstage right now
RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey has posted a scathing statement aimed at Becky Lynch, who was forced to pull out of their scheduled match at Survivor Series due to injury.
Anticipation surrounding their match peaked on Monday night, with Lynch attacking Rousey at Raw during SmackDown’s invasion of the red brand. Unfortunately, Nia Jax broke Lynch’s face during the melee and the The Man has not been medically cleared to wrestle this Sunday. Rousey will now battle Charlotte Flair, but she’s blasting Lynch for “not showing up for her legally arranged ass whopping.”
Rousey posted a message on Instagram, which you can read below. Rousey embedded this tweet from UFC legend Nate Diaz to accompany her pointed message towards Lynch.
If u can’t make it to war u lose the war U ain’t bout this life…
@Beckylynchwwe I’m really sorry to hear The Millennial Man will not be showing up for her legally arranged ass whooping on November 18th at the Staples Center.
Unfortunately now everyone knows if someone hauls off and punches you for real, your face implodes. I suggest you keep practicing your tough guys faces in the mirror, should be very effective physical therapy.
And have fun watching Korean soap operas on Netflix or whatever the hell the Millennial Man does with her free time. Don’t worry I’m not the back stabbing cheap shotting ambushing cowardly type, so you’re perfectly safe to take your time and heal up until your figurative balls have dropped and you’re finally ready to for your comeuppance. I want you 100% healed up, prepared, and looking me in the eye when the bell rings. Lemmie know when you’re done healing your boo boos and ready for me to serve you your ass on a silver platter with your avocado toast.
I do have to admit, The Millennial Man is stunningly conniving. She poked the bear and ran like a bat outta hell when the bear awoke – Feeding me her favorite frienemy and fellow #FAUXhorsewoman @charlottewwe is a new level of manipulative cowardice, even for The Millennial Man. @charlottewwe is a Superfight and I’ve always wanted to fight her – but she’s just the stand in for the beating @beckylynchwwe has coming to her this Sunday. I’ll be sending The Champ a choice piece of Charlotte as a souvenir?? #RondaVsCharlotte #SurvivorSeries #Nov18 #4hourswomenVSfauxhorsewomen
WWE has confirmed that SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch has been pulled from her scheduled champion vs. champion match against RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series.
