Former WWE Superstar Ronda Rousey took to Twitter to react to Conor McGregor losing at UFC 264. The former RAW Women’s Champion applauded McGregor for seemingly cutting a promo that sowed the seeds for a 4th match between he and Dustin Poirier.
The ‘Notorious’ 155 pound fighter suffered a fracture towards the end of the first round of five, where after a missed punch he handed back on his left foot and it buckled, indicated that something had broken.
Whilst McGregor was on the ground, he started shouting at officials and demanded that he be given a microphone. Once Joe Rogan went to interview McGregor, the former two-division Champion would continue his slights at Dustin Poirier’s wife, saying that she was ‘in his DMs.’

Ronda Rousey herself was slated for a return to WWE at some point in the near future, before it was publicly revealed that she was pregnant with her first child. It’s not confirmed if she will be returning to the company following the birth; however WWE are extremely keen to get as much starpower on the two main roster brands as possible.

Ronda Rousey and Travis Browne revealed in April that they are expecting their first child. Rousey said her pregnancy dates back to January so the couple is likely looking at a September birth. Today, Rousey and Browne posted a YouTube video to reveal the sex of their baby.
“Our gender reveal is finally here! We didn’t want to do anything that would set hundreds of acres ablaze or thousands even, some people are idiots. We didn’t want to do that so we are keeping it simple, we are keeping it safe, we are keeping it Browsey Acres style,” Ronda said to begin the video.
An animated video then revealed the couple are expecting a girl.
Rousey spoke to ESPN shortly after WrestleMania 35 and revealed her plans to have a family.
“I’ve not kept it a secret that I would definitely want to start a family,” Rousey said. “But how do you go about doing that? I love this way more than I thought that I would. So do you just keep going until you just happen to get pregnant? Or should you stop and go try and get pregnant? Or is going and trying to get pregnant putting yourself on the spot and then you’re less likely to get pregnant?”

Former Raw women’s champion Ronda Rousey is once again teaming with WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle for a new project.
The wrestling veteran teased the new project sharing a photo of the two on social media earlier yesterday. Both the former WWE stars are seen standing in front of a truck marked ‘Rowdy’s dairy home delivery’ with the following caption:

There is no word yet on what the project is about. It’s likely that the Browsey Acres farm in California which is owned by the female star and her husband Travis Browne, is involved in it.
Ronda Rousey’s relationship with Kurt Angle goes back to the former UFC star’s debut match in WWE. She teamed up with the Olympic Gold Medallist to face Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 34.
Though the former champion has been away from WWE since WrestleMania 35. She left the company to start a family and Rousey revealed in April that she was four months pregnant with her first child.
Ronda Rousey’s “impregnation vacation” has proven successful. Rousey and Travis Browne announced on YouTube that the couple is expecting.
“How do I put this? Pow, 4 months pregnant!” Rousey revealed in the video. “What? You didn’t even know the last 4 months.”
“I’ve been pregnant since January, so 4 months. Woo baby bump! I can’t hide it anymore so time to show it off.”

It has been two years since we last saw Ronda Rousey in a WWE ring. The first woman to have held a UFC and WWE title belt burst onto the wrestling scene and seemed set to for a entertaining career inside the squared circle, before suddenly requesting time away just after Wrestlemania 35.
The reasons for her sudden withdrawal from the ring is often attributed to both her desire to start a family and the previously gruelling travel schedule that the WWE expect their stars to maintain.
Throw into the mix the nasty accident that Rousey suffered on the set of 9-1-1 that saw her almost lose a finger, and you can understand why it has been so long since she was last seen in a WWE ring.
Speculation on a return was further sparked this month when WWE President Nick Khan dropped strong hints that Ronda was ready to return during an interview with Colin Cowherd
While it has always been expected that she would return to the ring in due course, in a recent episode of Table Talk, Rousey seemed somewhat non-committal about her return. “I don’t know,” said Rousey. “When I feel like it … Eventually, when I feel like. I don’t know.”
Rousey’s Wrestling Future
During her time off, Rowdy Ronda Rousey has flip-flopped with regards to her wrestling career, moving from engaging with fellow wrestlers in a kayfabe war or words, to trashing her former employers. Whether it is all a play on character building or just the actions of a fight unclear on what they really want remains to be seen.
For fans of wrestling, the prospect of having Ronda back in WWE forming an alliance with her MMA four horsewoman buddies Marina Shafir, Shayna Baszler and Jessamyn Duke would be interesting, to say the least. The story possibilities surround a faction like that are endless and if WWE wrote it well, could be reason enough to tempt Ronda back for one more WWE run.

On Wednesday’s Colin Cowherd’s podcast, WWE President Nick Khan talked about a wide range of topics. He was discussed WrestleMania 35 from 2019 that was headlined by Rousey vs. Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair in a triple threat match for the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Titles.
He mentioned the popularity of female wrestlers in general and how big business this match did. He made a point to say Rousey would return “at a certain point in time” while Lynch would return “at a certain point of time…in the not-too-distant future.”
Rousey worked her most recent match in WWE at WrestleMania 35 as she dropped the Raw Women’s Title. At the time, she noted that she was taking time off from WWE to start a family. She later aired some grievances with “f*king ingrateful fans” in addition to the brutal travel schedule that she had to deal with during an appearance on the Steve O podcast.
On the flip side, Lynch had to vacate the strap last May and gave it to Asuka as she was pregnant. Last December, Lynch and Seth Rollins welcomed a daughter in December. On the night of this year’s Royal Rumble, she hinted she was returning.
For fans hoping to see Ronda Rousey make a return to the UFC, Dana White has some bad news for you.
The UFC President has shot down the possibility of the former UFC Bantamweight Champion ever returning to the Octagon. He did so as he spoke with the media ahead of Saturday’s UFC 260 pay-per-view event.
While talking about the return of Meisha Tate, who is bitter rivals with Rousey and has lost to her on a few different occasions, White mentioned he recently had a telephone conversation with Rousey. However, they didn’t talk about her MMA return.
“Don’t even f***ing start you guys,” said White [h/t/ The Sun]. “Yesterday about lots of different things, not this, but yes we talked yesterday. [She is] Absolutely, positively not coming back ever.”
Rousey lost the UFC title to Holly Holm and then lost her final UFC fight against Amanda Nunes in December 2016 where she lost in the first round by knockout.
She joined WWE in 2018 where she became a top star for the company and became Raw Women’s champion. She worked her last match in WWE against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair in a triple threat match at WrestleMania 35. Rousey went on hiatus to start a family. Her contract with WWE expires in April.
WWE Hall of Famer and Olympic Gold medallist Kurt Angle recently started a new podcast with the team at AdFreeShows. On the newest episode of The Kurt Angle Show, the former TNA performer discussed Ronda Rousey and her quick rise in WWE.
“Without a doubt, Ronda picked it up very quickly” Kurt Angle began on the show. “But, you know, she was on a crash course. I didn’t have that crash course when I started. When I started with WWE, and went to their training camp? It was only five days a month! So I didn’t have a lot of training before I started.”
“Only when I went down to Memphis after about six months and I did a few months down there did I get any type of consistent training” Angle continued. “Ronda was getting it every day, but she really came through. I mean her performance at WrestleMania was incredible. She did a fantastic job and she deserves a lot of credit, she has incredible work ethic.”

Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey teamed at WrestleMania 34 against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Many fans and critics complemented Rousey’s first ever performance in a WWE ring, and Kurt Angle himself had huge praise for the former UFC fighter’s mental approach.
“I think she wasn’t going to disappoint herself or anyone else” Angle stated. “She was going to make sure she hit a home run at WrestleMania, and she did. She picked it up, I think, quicker than anybody in the history of the sport. I think Ronda picked up the technique, very fast, and she made it her own. Everything she did, her throws and her submissions, they were all real. [It was] Judo, Jiu Jitsu type of stuff, she really made it her own, so she was very artistic in that aspect.”
There’s currently no news on the status of Ronda Rousey in WWE. Rousey left the company following her loss to Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 35’s main event; it was reported that Ronda Rousey wanted to start a family with her husband at the time.

Ronda Rousey is not currently scheduled to compete in the Women’s Royal Rumble match Sunday. Despite this fact, some online betting websites have her listed as one of the favorites to win the match.
According to Odds Shark, Rhea Ripley is the current favorite to win the Women’s Royal Rumble match. Her odds are +700. Just behind her is Ronda Rousey, with pretty strong odds of +750.
Rousey became aware that real people are betting real money expecting her to win. She a message on Twitter comparing these odds to that of the stock price of Gamestop. The video game retailer’s stock has exploded this month amidst dubious circumstances.
There are some interesting odds listed on Odd Shark for who could win the Rumble. Becky Lynch is not listed as an option due to the recent birth of her child. Despite that, several seemingly impossible names are listed as long-shot bets. These include the retired Paige, who is the 9th favorite to win the match.

It’s been almost two years now since Ronda Rousey has wrestled a match in WWE. Her last time in a WWE ring was in the main event of WrestleMania 35. Stephanie McMahon recently addressed Rousey’s possible future with the company during an interview with TMZ.
“Ronda’s been very public that she would like to start her own family,” McMahon said to TMZ. “Once she does that, our doors are absolutely open, our arms are open. We are very hopeful that Ronda will come back home to WWE.”
Stephanie also answered a question during the interview about a possible Roman Reigns vs the Rock match at WrestleMania.
“I suppose there is any chance that we are working on anything at anytime, to answer your question. It would be a phenomenal story to find out who truly sits at the head of the table. You know, when you think about Rock and his family and Roman Reigns and his family. Just the heritage and the lineage in our business of that family. (It is a) huge story and I do hope we get to see it play out one day.”

Charlotte Flair reacted to a post sent out by WWE’s Twitter account looking back on her match against Ronda Rousey.
They wrestled at the 2018 WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view that saw the former UFC star go over by disqualification. The finish of that match featured Rousey trying to attack Flair at ringside, but Flair used a kendo stick to counter.
Flair hit Natural Selection on Rousey before stomping a chair on her neck to end the post-match attack. In her response to WWE’s post, Flair noted that this was the night Rousey stopped wanting to be a pro wrestler.
As of this writing, Rousey has not responded to Flair’s tweet.
Rousey is still under contract with WWE but went on hiatus after losing the WrestleMania 35 main event in 2019 to Becky Lynch in a triple threat match that also featured Flair.
There’s no word yet on when Rousey will return to WWE. It should be noted that there have been some rumors about her potentially returning for WrestleMania 37.
On the flip side, Flair has been out of action since mid-June for a cosmetic procedure. There’s also no word yet on when she’ll return.
Ronda Rousey is rumored to be gearing up for a WWE return. The former UFC and RAW Women’s champion was once again spotted training in a wrestling ring.
Former Impact Wrestling star James Storm, who says he was on his way to WWE before the COVID pandemic hit, posted a photo with Rousey and her husband Travis Browne. Storm was truly impressed with Rousey’s passion for the sport and likened her to all-time great Kurt Angle.

There were also rumors recently that Ronda Rousey’s WWE contract had just months left on it. Paul Heyman recently hinted in an interview, however, that it’s possible Rousey and WWE have agreed to an extension.
“I don’t understand why people don’t realize that perhaps, just perhaps, Ronda Rousey’s contract has been extended or she has worked out a new deal and it would not benefit either WWE or Ronda Rousey to go public with that information. But why wouldn’t people understand that it would be kept secret?” Heyman said.
A report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently noted that Rousey is expected back for WrestleMania next year.
“Rousey is still under contract and was expected to do WrestleMania in Los Angeles,” wrote Dave Meltzer.
James Storm also recently commented on why he believes his deal with WWE fell apart.
“Once I seen that they were making all these cuts with all these different guys and stuff like that I just knew it was a matter of time before they retract the contract,” Storm said.
“All I can do is keep on keeping on and doing my thing and hopefully there’s another opportunity to come in the future.”
Ronda Rousey hasn’t wrestled for WWE since the main event of WrestleMania 35. While it has been a year and a half since Rousey has been a part of WWE programming and storylines, she is still under contract to the promotion.
Rousey’s contract has approximately six months left on it, according to Pwinsider. This means Rousey is under contract through to WrestleMania 37, although there is no guarantee she will be participating in that event.

“Rowdy” Ronda Rousey last competed in WWE at WrestleMania 35. She and Charlotte Flair lost a Winner Takes All Triple Threat matchup to Becky Lynch. Lynch’s victory saw her become the SmackDown and Raw Women’s Champion.
Although under WWE contract until 2021, Rousey has stressed she has no interest in returning to pro wrestling in a full-time capacity. She cited WWE’s grueling schedule as a core reason behind her decision, explaining how it’s not “the lifestyle for me.”
Rousey has, however, suggested she would still be interested in performing in WWE on a part-time basis. If that’s the case, the WWE Universe may eventually see her feature on key pay-per-views, much like Brock Lesnar.
WWE Superstar Shayna Baszler recently appeared on WWE’s The Bump. The former NXT Women’s Champion appeared on the WWE Network show to discuss a number of topics from her recent career with the company.
One of the points raised was Shayna Baszler’s mental approach when walking to the wrestling ring and previously the MMA cage.
“When I was fighting in MMA? The first round is the walk to the ring” Shayna Baszler began on the show. “And that’s when all the self talk starts. It’s funny, because I was on a reality show; and they sat me down in a setting, much like this and they’re like, ‘so tell us what’s going through your mind as you make that walk?’ That’s where all the self talk is.”

Shayna Baszler elaborated further, saying “it’s like, ‘I’ve worked so much harder for this, she doesn’t deserve this.’ That’s where you have to be, you have to have that mentality. And when you verbalise that to people that have never made that walk? It sounds arrogant, but the truth of the matter is if you want to achieve the things that have been achieved by people that have made that walk? You have to have that mentality.”
Shayna Baszler then talked about the backlash she and her Four Horsewomen of MMA partner Ronda Rousey received when talking about the mentality. “I got that backlash for verbalising what goes on in my head. Ronda also got that backlash for verbalising what goes on as well.”
WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has taken issue with Ronda Rousey’s recent negative comments regarding pro wrestling and the WWE Universe.
Speaking on his Hall of Famepodcast with Brad Gilmore, Booker T explained why her words irked him. He noted how Rousey was accepted into the pro wrestling world and the other women in the Locker Room. For her to have said such derogatory comments is like a “slap in the face to each and every one of those ladies that went out there and had to work with her.”
Booker T argued, “To slap all those ladies in the face that made her look so good after receiving that check from this ‘fake’ business, a check that, like I said, being put in a position where she was the women’s champion, she was in the main event at WrestleMania, that speaks volumes.”
Booker T highlighted how several women in the locker room work exceptionally hard to get a spot like Rousey enjoyed. He pointed to Nia Jax, explaining how she has worked hard but doesn’t receive the same kind of praise Rousey did. “[…] then someone walks from outside inside to this world and get it. It really is a slap in the face. and I just think Ronda needs to apologize first and foremost.”
Rousey claimed that she wouldn’t be returning to pro wrestling in a full-time capacity during a recent podcast interview. She explained that this was due to ungrateful fans.
Wrestling legend Jim Cornette recently weighed in on the ongoing situation regarding Ronda Rousey.

“I can see why they [WWE] didn’t want to put Ronda Rousey in with Nia Jax,” Jim Cornette stated on his Drive Thru podcast. “Because they were trying to get Rousey over and she would not be able to do all of her sh*t and throw Nia Jax around like a rag doll etc.”
Cornette then questioned why WWE chose to put Alexa Bliss in a programme with Rousey initially. “I’ve seen that Alexa Bliss. She’s gorgeous girl but you know she is five foot nothing and doesn’t weigh 100 pounds or whatever the f*ck. She looks the furthest thing from physically intimidating. So why did they put her in with Ronda Rousey? I have no f*cking idea. Because they should have known a little lady like that cannot be f*cking thrown around.”
Cornette continued, “I don’t think Alexa Bliss has ever fought in a cage, I don’t think she’s been in any contact sports, she might have been a cheerleader whatever the f*ck. I would have picked one of the larger, more physically equipped ladies to work with Ronda Rousey especially if she was that f*cking dangerous.”

Despite not having been in WWE for over a year, Ronda Rousey is one of the most talked-about stars in wrestling at the moment. Rousey’s comments on Jackass star Steve-O’s podcast recently where she referred to wrestling matches as “fake fights” garnered strong reactions from some in the WWE locker room.
After public comments by Lana, Nia Jax, and Alexa Bliss, Rousey Tweeted out a statement about the difference between real MMA fights and choreographed wrestling performances.

Rousey has stated previously that she could not pronounce the name “Hulk Hogan” as a kid. It came out “Balgrin” for some reason, so that’s what she referred to him as here. It’s also the name of a character in World of Warcraft.
Ronda Rousey has become the talk of the town recently after calling out the WWE fans in a recent interview and labelling the members of the WWE Universe as ‘ungrateful’.

WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry has defended Ronda Rousey from fans and Superstars responding negatively to her recent comments. Rousey shared her opinion on wrestling fans during a recent interview. She argued that she shouldn’t have to spend her time and energy on “ungrateful fans” that don’t appreciate her or what she does.
Speaking on SiriusXM’s Busted Open Radio, Mark Henry stated that Rousey was “100% right” right for feeling how she does. He believes people should show more appreciation for Rousey and other stars who came into pro wrestling from other sports.
Henry argued how, “Yes, you’re judged by a different grade. But every now and then, you get one or two or three people, like a Ronda Rousey and a Kurt Angle, who come into the sport and they’re so damn good, that what would it have looked like if they had been in forever?”
He added how Rousey deserves more respect and that her feelings towards competing full-time could be a result of the lack of respect she feels she has been given. He stated that the WWE Universe paid money to watch her fail, because “that’s what our fans do.”

Mark Henry On Recognition
Mark Henry noted how all she wanted was recognition for her ability and love for the pro wrestling. Henry said that, although 90% of fans gave her props, it was the 10% that “made Ronda Ronda Rousey not want to do pro wrestling full-time.”
Henry added how, to him, Ronda Rousey is a winner and has accomplished so much in under three years. He stressed how if fans paid her more respect, perhaps she would be more willing to compete and entertain the WWE Universe.

Returning RAW Superstar Nia Jax has responded to Ronda Rousey’s recent comments regarding pro wrestling. Several Superstars have reacted negatively to Rousey’s comments where she lambasted wrestling fans, arguing that she shouldn’t be spending her time and energy for “f*cking ungrateful fans” that don’t appreciate her.
Nia Jax Wants To “Go Down In History”
Taking to her Twitter account, Nia Jax explained how she couldn’t wait for Rousey to eventually return to the ring. If she does, Jax promised that she will do everything in her power to get an opportunity against the former WWE RAW Women’s Champion. If that happens, Jax promised she would go down in history as the one who “knocked her the F**K out!”

Nia Jax returned to in-ring action after being away since April 2019. This was because she had to undergo double knee surgery. It didn’t take her long to assert her dominance, however. She defeated Deonna Purrazzo in a short matchup, using a new finisher that had been gifted from former WWE Superstar Paige.
Lana recently took offense to some comments made by Ronda Rousey on Steve-O’s podcast. During the podcast, Rousey talked about the difficult WWE travel schedule and performing for ungrateful fans. She also used the polarizing word “fake” to describe wrestling, which Lana then reacted to.

Rousey referred to wrestling as “fake fights” when talking about how much she enjoyed taking part in the performances.

In storyline, Lana is currently married to Bobby Lashley. She ended up costing him his match to Aleister Black at WrestleMania, however. Lana insisted that Lashley give his opponent a spear but this allowed Black an opportunity to hit Black Mass for the win.
Ronda Rousey made an appearance on the latest episode of the “Wild Ride! with Steve-O” podcast where she talked about her time in WWE.
This is where she made some interesting comments regarding her future with the company and ungrateful wrestling fans.
Rousey started out by stating that she loves the WWE and had a great time working there as she loves all of the girls in the locker room. She thinks having fake fights for fun is just the best thing. She loves the choreography, acting, and theater.
However, she was doing basically a part-time schedule and was away from home 200 days out of the year. That was a problem for her because when she did get home, she didn’t have any time for anything else but rather just wanted to sleep.
Rousey stated working that type of schedule wasn’t worth it for her family despite it eliminating all of their expenses and living a certain lifestyle that they didn’t need because they didn’t need the money.
“So it’s just like … what am I doing it for if I’m not being able to spend my time and energy on my family, but instead spending my time and my energy on a bunch of f*cking ungrateful fans that don’t even appreciate me?
I love performing. I love the girls. I love being out there … but, at the end of the day, I was just like, ‘F*ck these fans, dude.’ My family loves me and they appreciate me and I want all my energy to go into them.”
When she came to this decision, she made it known that she loves what all of the stars are doing and she tried to give them all of her momentum and push that she could in order to say, “fly little birds, fly! I’m going f*cking home!’ And that was basically it.”
Rousey added that if she does return to WWE then it won’t be in a full-time capacity. Instead, she would rather work short chunks of time.
Ronda Rousey recently uploaded a rather interesting video to her official YouTube channel. The video features her answering questions from fans. One of the questions Ronda answered was in regard to when she’ll be coming back to WWE. Ronda initially said she was taking an “impregnation vacation” from the company and according to recent comments, she is still on said vacation.
“Well, Trav and I are still working on that mommy/daddy time if you know what I mean?” Ronda said when asked when she’ll be returning to WWE.
“I won’t be at WrestleMania this year…or will I?” Ronda responded to another question. “I’m just kidding, I’m not going to be at WrestleMania.”

Midway through the video, Ronda becomes concerned about the growing amount of questions in her inbox from fans regarding her feet. She called Travis Browne over to investigate.
“There’s like 8000 emails here and they all talk about feet,” Ronda lamented. “These people need help.”

Ronda Rousey and Cain Velasquez were seen visiting WWE headquarters in Stamford, CT on Thursday.
It was the former UFC Heavyweight champion who revealed the news when he shared a photo of them together after he ran into the former WWE RAW Women’s Champion.

Last month it was reported that Velasquez successfully had his knee scoped and is feeling completely healthy. In fact, he was seen at WWE’s training facility, WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, to get more reps in the ring while awaiting his next match.
He was there for the next two weeks. While there have been rumors on Cain returning to WWE soon, nothing has been officially announced.
As previously reported, Rousey is currently not scheduled for WrestleMania 36 and there’s no word yet on when she’ll be back.
In the report, it was noted the same for WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg but that changed once WWE officials decided to put the Universal Title on him. Now, he’ll be defending the title against Roman Reigns at the show.
